We were welcomed with a smile and escorted to our table. The food and variety was very good. Our request for items without onions and garlic, for one of our members, was welcomed and every effort was made to meet the requirement. The staff went the extra mile to especially prepare Masala Dosa, paneer and other dishes without onion and garlic for one member in our group. Excellent service. We were provided with everything we requested and the staff were kind enough to personally serve fresh hot bhajya, bhatura, puri, dosa and dahi vada and bhel to our table. We had two bowls of udon, chicken udon and veggie gyoza udon. I would say it was delicious, the soup base of veggie gyoza udon is Thai flavour so it was a little bit spicy which added the flavour. My daughter said the chicken in the Chicken udon is a bit chewy but she said overall it was ok. The portion of the the udon is a bit small though, sushi is always delicious in itsu. The waitress who served us was very friendly, polite and helpful which added extra points to this review.

Not huge portions but I think we are used to being given too much at a curry house. All the flavours really stood out and it was an excellent meal. Cold mezze to share was quite generous but of poor quality from bought-in tubs, huge olives hard and tasteless. When the main courses were served one was missing! The service element of this visit was beyond poor, and with the exception of a ‘sorry’ muttered under the manager’s breath, little was done to make things better… and they still added a service charge. Wouldn’t recommend - there are far better Mediterranean restaurants out there, albeit not in the backwater that is Brentford.
