Buddhist temple
Sights & Landmarks
Long Son Pagoda is a modern Buddhist pagoda situated on a hill, offering stunning views of the city below. It is a symbol of Buddhism in the area and features a large concrete Buddha statue. Nearby attractions include the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Alexandre Yersin Museum, Nui Hon Chong beach, and Lanterns Cooking Class. Visitors can also explore local specialties at Dam Market and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains and islands.
Beautiful temple and Buddha on the top of the mountain. Meet to climb up a bit. Beautiful view from the top. On the way you can buy different souvenirs, cool drinks. I went around lunch time, not that busy. On the way back from the village.
Baktybala T — Google review
We visited Long Son Pagoda on a weekend and were surprised to find it relatively quiet, which made the experience peaceful and enjoyable. The complex is beautifully maintained, with ornate temple architecture, bonsai-lined walkways, and a welcoming atmosphere. Be prepared for a bit of a climb — there are quite a few steps to reach the giant seated Buddha statue at the top, but it’s well worth the effort. The views over Nha Trang from up there are incredible, offering a panoramic perspective of the city skyline, mountains, and coast. About halfway up, you’ll find a serene reclining Buddha statue, carved into the hillside, surrounded by carved monk figures. It’s a calm spot to take a break before continuing making your way down. There is also a bell tower as well to see.
John W — Google review
The giant Buddha was breathtaking. There’s also a reclining Buddha with carvings that were so intricate in detail. It was beautiful. There’s also a golden Buddha and a lovely garden. There was no cost to enter. Being that it is a temple, it is advised to dress respectfully.
Tee — Google review
It’s beautiful 100 years old biggest Buddah statues in Vietnam, very well maintained over 100 years since. If you would like to donate, make few steps to right side where the big looked door with the slot open. The guide sign is faded, its barely noticeable how to make donations. The pagoda itself quite touristic and not much to see except these statues
Jessica P — Google review
Very peaceful and beautiful place. The big white Buddha at the top is definitely worth the climb — the view is really impressive! The stairs aren’t too difficult, but take it slow if it’s hot. On the way up, there’s a reclining Buddha and some nice statues to check out. Entrance is free, but you might meet people trying to sell incense or ask for donations — just ignore them if you’re not interested, no pressure. Tip: Dress respectfully (no short shorts or tank tops), and try to visit early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds. Nice spot for pictures and a little break from the usual touristy stuff.
JOKER'S — Google review
A peaceful and impressive spiritual site. The giant white Buddha gazing over the city is truly awe-inspiring, and the reclining Buddha is enormous — a breathtaking sight to see. The atmosphere is calm and respectful, perfect for a quiet walk and reflection. Plenty of photo-worthy moments along the way, with great views of Nha Trang from the top. A must-visit for those seeking both culture and serenity.
Ildus B — Google review
The entrance fee is free. It is a quiet and amazing place to visit. They also have a souvenir shop with affordable prices.
Diana K — Google review
Outstanding. Always a great immersive experience to lose yourself in a Pagoda, spent many times visiting those in Saigon and Da Lat and this one in Nha Trang is my first pagoda to visit in the bay and I must confess that she is beautiful and the garden is well maintained. You can access the big Buddha with the stars in the background, prepare your breath.

Market
Situated in the northern part of Nha Trang on Ben Cho Street, Dam Market is a bustling 3-story building that stands as the city's main market. Its unique round shape and diverse array of stalls make it a must-visit for both locals and tourists. From household goods to handicrafts and souvenirs, this market offers an authentic glimpse into Vietnamese daily life.
Today, my experience was great when I bought a pair of my favorite shoes at a very cheap price and very good quality. This shoe store is located on the 2nd floor, opposite the Korean T-shirt stores… You will not need to buy at the listed price because the store owner is very friendly and always gives the cheapest price
Ren G — Google review
We’d seen quite a few reviews and decided to check out Dam Market. It’s a big space with rows of stalls selling everything from dried seafood and snacks to clothes, souvenirs, and household items. There’s definitely a bit of repetition in what’s being sold, with many vendors offering similar products, especially in the food and clothing sections. We didn’t stay too long – not sure if it was the heat, the crowds, or just market fatigue after visiting so many recently. That said, it’s still a fun browse if you’re into haggling or scouting for some local finds. If you’re nearby or want a bargain, it’s worth popping in
John W — Google review
Three floors, the ground has two main categories, one section is seasonings and foods (dry fruit ), another is pearls and all kinds of stone for wearing. Crafts as well. There are many shops for clothes and leather products in the second floor. The third floor is similar to the second one, but many shops are closed.
Bryan D — Google review
So far it’s the best market I’ve been to in Vietnam, if you are looking for inexpensive clothes, like dress or sport shorts and t-shirts then you gonna see plenty of options here. For 100k vnd you easily buy dress or matching outfit (shirt ans shorts) for a men. Make sure to always negotiate price 😉
Krystian — Google review
Good day market in Nha Trang - plenty of stall holders with a wide selection of products over two floors and more outside.

All about narrow aesthetics pictures and coffee souvenir market. U also can get bamboo hats and bags. Just don't forget u can get half cut price 😄 only if ask for discount

Great place to get knock off clothing dirt cheap. If you’re looking for shorts, shoes, hats, shirts or any beachwear, this is the place.

Nestled on a serene hilltop just 3 kilometers north of Nha Trang, the Ponagar Temple complex is a captivating blend of history and spirituality. Constructed between the 7th and 12th centuries, this site features four remaining Cham towers, with the North Tower standing tall at an impressive height of 28 meters. The temple honors the goddess of land and serves as an active worship site for Cham, Chinese, and Vietnamese Buddhists alike.
Impressive ancient temple complex with great views over the river and city. Entry fee is only 30,000 VND, and you can easily visit everything in 30–45 minutes. It gets very hot and crowded, so go early if you can. Dress modestly (no tank tops or short shorts), or you may be asked to cover up. The towers are well preserved and worth a quick cultural stop if you’re in Nha Trang. Not a must-see, but a nice break from the beach.

Beautiful historical place. Located on the little hill. Surrounded by greenery with benches where you can relax. Beautiful view from the terace on the Nha Trang and sea. Definitely worth visiting. You can buy ticket on arrival 30000 v d.

Very beautiful temple. Buddhist temple with Hindu elements. I liked that they didn’t painted and didn’t made fancy renovation. Looks very authentic and raw. A lot of space to set down, drink cool drinks, buy souvenirs. Recommend to walk around, had a small garden behind with beautiful trees and big rocks. There were dancers at the beginning who dance national dances with drums. Entrance fee 30.000 d. has a clean toilet near the temple. Beautiful view on the city. It was a bit busy with tourist groups, I was there around 10.40. Google maps says they open at 6, maybe it’s better to go as early as possible.
Baktybala T — Google review
This temple deserves to be visited if you happen to be in Nha Trang! It is so culturally rich and the architecture hints at the hinduistic influence of the Cham people. The temple is also very well restored and you can see which parts of the temple are new and which ones are the original. I would recommend visiting during the opening hours of the site (around 6:30-8AM) since it can also get quite crowded even in the weekdays. You can also get a guided tour which is short but informative so you can learn more about the history of the temple!
Hamy N — Google review
The temple is a beautiful building, surrounded by lush trees and blooming flowers. We loved the monuments and the spacious grounds. There's also a great selection of affordable souvenirs available. The entry ticket is very reasonable at 30,000 per person.
Sufar — Google review
One of the best looking and interesting places to visit in Nha Trang and I didn't see there so many Russians 😉🤣 Ticket costs 30k VND, you can visit wearing shorts, they will give you a long coat if you want to go inside the temple.

Impressive! 3 towers of Champa’s culture! I was interested with their Champa’s show and inside the tower! Between cozy city but it’s really nice & historical!

Po Nagar Cham Towers is a true testament to the Cham civilization. Not only rich in cultural and spiritual values, the heritage complex is also an excellent example of architectural beauty, which is enough to capture visitors’ hearts. Nature & Parks
Hon Mun is a picturesque island known for its snorkeling and diving opportunities, beautiful beaches, and unique black rock formations. The island's high-rise cliffs feature dangerous wattles forming caves and grottoes in the southeast, with stones as black as ebony. Hon Mun is also famous for being a nesting site for flocks of swallows that migrate to the area every year.
We stopped here as part of the 4 Island tour in Nha Trang and this island was probably my favorite. The water was super warm and clear, and it was such a fun experience to go snorkeling. I did wish we saw more coral reefs and fishes though.
Jennifer L — Google review
There are a lot of fish but not much variety. No snorkeling allowed so visibility is limited. You should wear special shoes when going into the water because there are many rocks.
Hue T — Google review
Hon Mun Island in Nha Trang, Vietnam 🇻🇳 is a great spot for snorkeling. We joined a package tour with three different stops, including lunch, and Hon Mun Island was one of them. Showers cost 15,000 ₫ per bucket of water, seats are 25,000 ₫ per chair, and drinks are around 40,000 ₫. The island also offers activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, scuba diving, sea walking, and more. The water here is noticeably clearer, but be cautious of jellyfish. Wearing a rash guard is recommended, especially if you have sensitive skin.
Ann D — Google review
Dont go here to dive or snorkel because, the corrals are all dead and it is a lots of nets and trash stuck in the dead corrals. It was just a totally grey bottom. All the way out to the island there was plastic trash floating all over. It was all very sad to see!
David S — Google review
Hòn Mun Island is snorkeler’s heaven—vibrant corals and fish that pop like an underwater rainbow! The boat ride can be bumpy if it’s windy, so prep for some waves. Dive in to explore the reefs up close. I used Joytime to book a snorkeling trip—smooth setup, awesome crew, and I was so lucky with clear waters. Nha Trang’s marine magic, don’t miss it!

Cathedral
The Nha Trang Bishopric, also known as Nha Trang Cathedral or Stone Church, is a significant landmark in the city. Construction of this grand cathedral began in 1928 and was completed in 1941, showcasing its original Gothic architecture despite enduring harsh weather conditions. The cathedral holds great importance for the local parishioners as it serves as a place for prayer and reflection.
I was visiting this diocesan to get information on the sunday mass at Cathedral. It was unexpected that the shopkeeper in this church is well verse in English and he is helpful as well. I would suggest to visit this place if you have any query on pastoral matter.

Barbecue restaurant
Restaurant
Lac Canh Beef Restaurant is a popular spot in downtown Nha Trang, known for its bustling street-side atmosphere and delicious local food. The restaurant offers a wide-ranging menu with options to barbecue your own marinated prawns, pork, or squid at the table. Their signature dish, Bo Lac Canh, features grilled beef marinated with a secret blend of honey and over ten spices. This renowned dish has made Lac Canh a must-visit for both locals and tourists alike.
Tucked away from the beach but by no means hard to find or get to, this was a great place for dinner in Nha Trang. A large place with a lot of helpful and friendly staff, it also has a huge menu, so you can't go wrong. Getting the grill is a must, but you can add whatever else you want and piece together a meal as big as you like so going in a group has added benefit. Obviously don't go if you're averse to smoke as the high ceiling and fans can only do so much.
Jarred K — Google review
A friend brought me here because we fancied beef. Beef bbq was supposed to be a local favourite so I had to try it. This is not the most tender cut of beef, not by a long shot but there is some thing special about their marinade and the way it cooks on the coals bbq. We ordered a large beef to share which was around 160K dong, we tried some goat meet again flavoursome marinade, together with stir fried veg and steamed rice. Would definitely recommend this place, service was quick and of was super busy so a great atmosphere.
Aly N — Google review
Not sure how to start a review with this place. Flies flies flies. Flies everywhere. I will talk more about the flies than the food because we cannot touch or eat our food at all. The place is hot and not enough fan and flies are very aggressive, not like normal flies at all. Doesn't matter what you do, the flies are still around and eat your food and drink your drink. The servers that I just look at it and do nothing about it. Don't recommend it
Top E — Google review
Got recommended to go restaurant in Nha Trang, however turn out not so good. It is a bbq restaurant but I felt really hot a too much smoke, my kids and husband felt the same thing. In the ground floor I couldn’t breath, had to go level 2, only little bit better. Beef was tasty but very hard, crab noodle, and the squid was no fresh. Deep fry frog is a down. Vegetable is have to pay extra.
Ngoc L — Google review
A very unique experience The beef here is quite chewy but getting to grill it and eat it so fresh is a great time My biggest complaint about this place is that the smoke is diffused everywhere because of poor ventilation. They add a lot of fans everywhere, but that really just breaks up to smoke and disperses it throughout the room. There is a fine haze wherever you go and it feels like you smoked a pack of cigarettes by the time you leave. If you don’t mind the smoke, you’ll probably have a good time eating and drinking here.
David Z — Google review
There are a lot of customers. The food is delicious. But there's a lot of smoke.
Wide W — Google review
A popular restaurant, though a bit crowded and noisy. There are plenty of food options. However, there’s no ventilation system, so you’ll likely be surrounded by smoke while dining in.
Khanh D — Google review
I've been eating at this place since the year 2000 and it used to be the single best BBQ joint in Nha Trang, one of my favourite places to eat in town. But over the years quality and portion size has gone down substantially, as prices has gone up. It's okay for tourists, with an English menu, but there are definitely better BBQ places in Nha Trang for those in the know (2016) 2022 update: Had a fantastic meal here. The quality is as good as it used to be many years ago and prices are immensely reasonable as they haven't really changed since about 2014 2024 update : Still good, but the beef was sweeter and chewier than last time. Squid was excellent, though. Consistency is not their strength it seems.

Indian restaurant
Ganesh Indian Restaurant is a popular spot in Nha Trang, known for its spacious and cozy two-floor space adorned with colorful floral patterns. The diverse menu offers dishes that stay true to the original flavors of India, with the curry dish being a standout favorite. Other highlights include grilled lamb, salad, and Veg Samosa. Situated at Sailing Club, this restaurant serves classic Indian dishes such as Tandoori, Mughlai, and Bengali at affordable prices.
I’ve never seen Nan bread so BIG. I had chicken coconut curry and couldn’t eat it all. See photo. Delicious. Finished with a mango lassi. Would definitely eat here again. Thank you I just needed something not Vietnamese to eat and I hit the jackpot. Very happy.
Fiona M — Google review
Restaurants like this represents the culture of India to the world. when I heard about this chain before coming to Vietnam, I was pretty happy that at least I’ll get the Indian taste at a few places and it happened the same way but i was very disappointed to see how they have designed the whole space. The menu card, which has been touched by dirty hands has Om sign on it, Not just this but even on the cutlery they have curved Om sign and with the same spoon and fork everybody eats even the non-veg food. I’ve never seen such disrespect of the culture. if it was done by a foreigner, then we could have explained them, but when it is done in an Indian place, then it is very disappointing. food was good. That’s why one-star. 🙏🏻
Prakash G — Google review
Another one of those curry houses that insists on putting cream in curries that should remain non-dairy, in my case vindaloo. From what should be a pungent, savoury, spicy gravy to being served what was essentially a ‘spiced-up’ Butter (Makhani) chicken (a dull butter chicken at that), so if you have an aversion to dairy then be warned. It’s firmly my belief that gullible customers are being fobbed-off with whatever is in the one pot of gravy out the back and most curry on the menu is dolloped-out from that one pot. No doubt other menu items are fine and are traditional in taste (as per others reviews) but in many cases, these curries are not what they should be. Portion wise, what I ordered whould have fed two (if you added a naan), so value is good for 280k, I’ll give them that.
Damon — Google review
Food was decent. Over all ok. But we found peace of Plastic in the gravy of panner. When we showed the manager, even he was shocked to see and apologised, said that maybe while putting the butter, this could have happen.. They gave us 10% discount and didn't charge for the dish. But that's not the human being asks for. We need safety n hygienic food. The chef has to carefull while cooking. It could have been disastrous...
Kajal B — Google review
Great tasting Indian food, very authentic and cater to different dietary requirements such as vegetarian and gluten-free. Portion sizes were also enormous, they let us pack the rest away for takeaway because it was honestly so big, great value for money.

Sundar K — Google review
The food was pretty good but nothing amazing. We were totally unimpressed with the owner, who stood around staring aimlessly at nothing while a waitress who couldn’t explain the menu took our order. Most distressing was the obvious lie told to us when we tried to pay by credit card. “Our machine doesn’t work”, with no apology. When we said we couldn’t pay any other way she took the card to the machine and ran it without hesitation and without ANY sign of doubt but they it would work just fine—as it did. We don’t blame her. We blame the owner.

Costa Seafood Nha Trang is a restaurant situated by the sea in Nha Trang, offering an inviting ambiance with outdoor seating that lets patrons enjoy the ocean breeze. The seafood, particularly the lobster dishes, is highly pleasing, and the portion sizes are generous without being overwhelming. However, some find it to be on the pricier side and may not be entirely satisfied with the service.
Elegant quality Hong Kong style seafood in Nha Trang! I really wasn't expecting such a great experience and quality. Ambiance service and freshness of the dishes were all first rate. Mantis prawn fried with garlic, tiger grouper cooked two ways, and prawn noodles are all must-haves. The Manager and her team made sure the experience was perfect.

Last holiday, I had the opportunity to visit Nha Trang. It was a wonderful time having lunch at CostaSeafoodRestaurant. I got to taste fresh seafood Lobster+Crab+Fish and more. The staff were lovely. The restaurant was clean. view was beautiful. There weren't many customers. Maybe it was because of the rain... If I have the chance, I will definitely recommend to my friends for sure!!! Lovely holiday

I would have gavin it 5 stars if not for the price. We paid more than VND 5 mil for a 1.2kg lobster in 2 flavours: soy garlic and braised noodle. It's very delicious but also very expensive. It's the most expensive lobster in my entire life. I'm still unsure if this is worth the price. One thing for sure, it's a meal we'll remember for a long time.

A nice seafood restaurant in the Costa building. Located right in the middle between two restaurants. Go there if you are ready to spend money. We loved the atmosphere. Personally I would like to have a more friendly menu with some seafood sets because when it is your first time it is hard to understand how to order 1kg+ seafood.

The reason why I tried this restaurant was that I was staying in the Intercontinental Hotel for 3 days and I was so lazy to find other restaurants. Honestly, I was quite disappointed about the taste and service. I think this restaurant is not suitable for 2 people, at least 4 people or more is suitable to have a meal here. The taste of food was extremely normal and the price was quite high and you gotta pay the extra service charge and VAT. I would rather choose a local seafood restaurant than visiting here again.

Nestled along the stunning coastline, Sailing Club Nha Trang is a chic waterfront destination that seamlessly blends relaxation and vibrant nightlife. By day, it serves up an enticing array of Indian, Vietnamese, and Western dishes alongside refreshing cocktails. Guests can unwind on luxurious four-poster beds or beach deck chairs while soaking in breathtaking views of the East Sea.
We came for sunset drinks on a Wednesday and it was perfect! Arrived around 5pm and was able to get a table with a nice beach view. We were having margaritas and gin and tonics and they were great. We did have some nibbles like French fries and a pizza - it was all OK! Not amazing but as expected and decent enough. What made the night was the music (a DJ starts around 8:30pm) and our server, Vy Long, who was the sweetest, happiest, loveliest person. He was so much fun and made our night!

We ate lunch here and were greeted very welcoming! The portion sizes are rather big. The service was very kind and also acted very nice upon a request. The food was good but we would recommend the Vietnamese dishes more than the Western dishes! The drinks were tasty as well! But the best thing must be the atmosphere and view! This place has become my regular spot. It’s simply a great place in Nha Trang. The quality of the food, drinks, and coffee (excellent Espresso) is up to Western standards – exceptional! Unfortunately, the European breakfast and also the Espresso is quite expensive and a bit of a disappointment for me, considering we’re in Vietnam, not Switzerland. Still, the view of the beach and the sea, the location, the vibe – just beautiful. I also notice how much attention is paid to detail, which is truly exceptional.

Their menu features signature dishes like Melitzanosalata (Greek eggplant dip), Hummus, Chicken Pitogyros, and Britzola, all of which promise an authentic taste of the Mediterranean.
If you’re craving Greek cuisine while in Nha Trang, this is the place to go. We ordered the Mix Mix platter and were blown away – a generous serving of grilled meat and seafood that could easily satisfy four people, not just two. Everything was cooked fresh to order and bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavor – it genuinely felt like dining in Greece. The menu offers a huge variety of options, from seafood to traditional Greek dishes, and we appreciated the small but delicious dessert that rounded off the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with Greek-themed decor and a lovely indoor-outdoor flow. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Greek food or just looking to try something different, Mix Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We ordered the MIX MIX platter for 2 adults and 2 kids—what a feast! The huge tray made us super excited when it arrived! 🍽️ The fish fillet and fries were pretty tasty, while the other meats were just okay. 🐟🍟 And surprise—everyone got a little dessert at the end! Worth a try if you’re curious and want to sample a bit of everything! ⭐️

Amazing to find authentic Greek food in Nha Trang! There is a menu filled with all the Greek favourites, you can’t go wrong. In speaking to the owner, everything is made fresh to order. The Mix seafood platter for two was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection, so fresh and such a generous portion for two. Great drinks selection, cocktails, beer and even ouzo. Service and hospitality by the owner and staff was fantastic. Felt like we were back in Greece ❤️ Highly recommend!

A wonderful and cozy place with reasonable prices and amazingly delicious seafood. A great blend of Greek and Vietnamese flavors. It feels fresher upstairs thanks to the air conditioners, and we were treated to complimentary little desserts — such a pleasant touch ✨

MIX Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience in Nha Trang. I tried their Greek Salad, and it was absolutely delightful! The vegetables were fresh and crisp, the feta cheese was creamy and flavorful, and the olive oil dressing was perfectly balanced. It truly felt like a taste of Greece in the heart of Vietnam. The ambiance of the restaurant is equally impressive. The decor is modern yet cozy, with a touch of Mediterranean charm. The lighting is warm, and the seating is comfortable, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions. The staff and owner were friendly and attentive, ensuring our experience was smooth from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique culinary experience in Nha Trang. I will definitely come back to explore more dishes on the menu!
