We visited Long Son Pagoda on a weekend and were surprised to find it relatively quiet, which made the experience peaceful and enjoyable. The complex is beautifully maintained, with ornate temple architecture, bonsai-lined walkways, and a welcoming atmosphere. Be prepared for a bit of a climb — there are quite a few steps to reach the giant seated Buddha statue at the top, but it’s well worth the effort. The views over Nha Trang from up there are incredible, offering a panoramic perspective of the city skyline, mountains, and coast. About halfway up, you’ll find a serene reclining Buddha statue, carved into the hillside, surrounded by carved monk figures. It’s a calm spot to take a break before continuing making your way down. There is also a bell tower as well to see.

The giant Buddha was breathtaking. There’s also a reclining Buddha with carvings that were so intricate in detail. It was beautiful. There’s also a golden Buddha and a lovely garden. There was no cost to enter. Being that it is a temple, it is advised to dress respectfully.

It’s beautiful 100 years old biggest Buddah statues in Vietnam, very well maintained over 100 years since. If you would like to donate, make few steps to right side where the big looked door with the slot open. The guide sign is faded, its barely noticeable how to make donations. The pagoda itself quite touristic and not much to see except these statues

Very peaceful and beautiful place. The big white Buddha at the top is definitely worth the climb — the view is really impressive! The stairs aren’t too difficult, but take it slow if it’s hot. On the way up, there’s a reclining Buddha and some nice statues to check out. Entrance is free, but you might meet people trying to sell incense or ask for donations — just ignore them if you’re not interested, no pressure. Tip: Dress respectfully (no short shorts or tank tops), and try to visit early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds. Nice spot for pictures and a little break from the usual touristy stuff.

Always a great immersive experience to lose yourself in a Pagoda, spent many times visiting those in Saigon and Da Lat and this one in Nha Trang is my first pagoda to visit in the bay and I must confess that she is beautiful and the garden is well maintained. You can access the big Buddha with the stars in the background, prepare your breath.

We’d seen quite a few reviews and decided to check out Dam Market. It’s a big space with rows of stalls selling everything from dried seafood and snacks to clothes, souvenirs, and household items. There’s definitely a bit of repetition in what’s being sold, with many vendors offering similar products, especially in the food and clothing sections. We didn’t stay too long – not sure if it was the heat, the crowds, or just market fatigue after visiting so many recently. That said, it’s still a fun browse if you’re into haggling or scouting for some local finds. If you’re nearby or want a bargain, it’s worth popping in

Three floors, the ground has two main categories,one section is seasonings and foods (dry fruit ), another is pearls and all kinds of stone for wearing. Crafts as well. There are many shops for clothes and leather products in the second floor. The third floor is similar to the second one, but many shops are closed.

So far it’s the best market I’ve been to in Vietnam, if you are looking for inexpensive clothes, like dress or sport shorts and t-shirts then you gonna see plenty of options here. For 100k vnd you easily buy dress or matching outfit (shirt ans shorts) for a men. Make sure to always negotiate price 😉

This is a diverse and authentic market in Nha Trang. You can find clothes, food, fruits, vegetables, coffee etc. The market is crowded and very colorful. It is a pleasant experience.

Very beautiful temple. Buddhist temple with Hindu elements. I liked that they didn’t painted and didn’t made fancy renovation. Looks very authentic and raw. A lot of space to set down, drink cool drinks, buy souvenirs. Recommend to walk around, had a small garden behind with beautiful trees and big rocks. There were dancers at the beginning who dance national dances with drums. Entrance fee 30.000 d. has a clean toilet near the temple. Beautiful view on the city. It was a bit busy with tourist groups, I was there around 10.40. Google maps says they open at 6, maybe it’s better to go as early as possible.

This temple deserves to be visited if you happen to be in Nha Trang! It is so culturally rich and the architecture hints at the hinduistic influence of the Cham people. The temple is also very well restored and you can see which parts of the temple are new and which ones are the original. I would recommend visiting during the opening hours of the site (around 6:30-8AM) since it can also get quite crowded even in the weekdays. You can also get a guided tour which is short but informative so you can learn more about the history of the temple!

The temple is a beautiful building, surrounded by lush trees and blooming flowers. We loved the monuments and the spacious grounds. There's also a great selection of affordable souvenirs available. The entry ticket is very reasonable at 30,000 per person.

One of the best looking and interesting places to visit in Nha Trang and I didn't see there so many Russians 😉🤣 Ticket costs 30k VND, you can visit wearing shorts, they will give you a long coat if you want to go inside the temple.

There are a lot of fish but not much variety. No snorkeling allowed so visibility is limited. You should wear special shoes when going into the water because there are many rocks.

Hon Mun Island in Nha Trang, Vietnam 🇻🇳 is a great spot for snorkeling. We joined a package tour with three different stops, including lunch, and Hon Mun Island was one of them. Showers cost 15,000 ₫ per bucket of water, seats are 25,000 ₫ per chair, and drinks are around 40,000 ₫. The island also offers activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, scuba diving, sea walking, and more. The water here is noticeably clearer, but be cautious of jellyfish. Wearing a rash guard is recommended, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Dont go here to dive or snorkel because, the corrals are all dead and it is a lots of nets and trash stuck in the dead corrals. It was just a totally grey bottom. All the way out to the island there was plastic trash floating all over. It was all very sad to see!

Man of so many crafts and areas of expertise. Small museum but collection and insights are worth every minute you walk and read there.

Nice place to visit if you are nearby. Buy ticket on the entrance to the yard at security hut. It costs 20.000d. Inside is a bit hot and air is stuffed so you can’t spend long time there. Interesting story of A.Yersin and his works and belongings. I bought nice post cards there only for 5000d each.

The place is just small but full of antiques and fascinating artifacts. Went there on a Monday (it is closed on weekends), there was no one inside nor in the lobby. Not sure if we had to buy tickets since there was no one there. It only took us less than 15 minutes to see everything inside. Some taxi drivers don’t know this place, we ended up being taken to Yersin street instead and had to pull up my Waze for the driver to find this. It’s inside a compound of a hospital just across from the beach. It’s educational although most writings are in French.

20k the ticket. The museum is a room on the 2nd floor. It has A/C and a lot of devices used by Yersin are exposed. It takes like 30min to see everything, it is quite fast but a nice exposition nonetheless

Recommend this museum for tourists especially young people. This museum is the small building that is located in Pasteur Institute Nha trang. Ticket price is cheap 20k. I learn many things from his life, live and work constantly, patiently, sacrificially with and for his passion for science, discovering and traveling.

Almost no place looks like the pictures — I’m so confused. It feels like I’ve been deceived. This place is full of tour buses, three or four arriving at once, and it’s just a rocky area. I don’t understand why this is considered a tourist attraction.

30k per pax for entrance. I believe the performance is a must watch, but it needs to wait for enough visitors to start performing. Each session is 3-4 songs and indeed good shows. Rocks and sea views (windy & hot) also good and worth to drop by. Grab to here and back for each way from Comodo hotel is around 90k per way. Drinks at the cafe is so so and a bit pricey and I think to drop by for a rest is okay but not for good drinks.

This place has mant rocks which naturally stacked on top of each other, running from the shore to the sea, creating an impressive natural layout with beautiful and breezy natural beaches. We LOVED our four night holiday at Hon Tam Resort. It’s the epitome of a tropical island experience for weary city dwellers like us. Staff and facilities were simply the BEST and we felt pampered all the way. The gym even has a beautiful view of the beach ! The pool was SO beautiful. Food was amazing with a myriad of choices. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. We will be back !

Hon tam is quite beautiful island which is quite near to the city Vinepearl and hon tam is almost the same port or station which is covered by the same operator we chose hon tam, I likedd the beaches and resort and lots of activities to take part in and there is accomodation place also, there is mud bath also which is quite famous there. It's totally green island and best place for kids and lots of water activities go take part in we really enjoyed a lot.i highly recommend

The landscape is so nice and the sea is very clean. That's a reason I love this place at first sight. Bedsides the food is delicious and the service is also good too. Very satisfied with this place.

Considering the price, we can honestly say that the experience was far exceeded our expectations. The view from our bungalow (tropical deluxe with sea view) was spectacular. The mud bath, spa, pools, hot spring, and water sports including parasailing and jet ski were excellent. Decent selection of food and outstanding service from staff.

Many activities to do, including soaking in the mud baths and swimming. Hygiene could've been improved a bit in some areas. Considering it as one of the tourist destinations in the island, I was kinda surprised to know that the staffs there don't speak English. Few boats in an hour so check the schedule before going is recommended.

VinWonders is definitely worth a day to explore the park. Rides, animals, shows, water park, everything to keep you entertained and there is plenty of reasonably priced food options. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and find shade in the daytime if you are visiting during summer, it can be very hot. The wait time for rides were anywhere from an hour to two hours if you are patient enough to stand that long. Overall it was a good experience and if you have children they will definitely have fun.

I like the faceID entrance system and the option to buy a ticket with a discount if you stay in one of the island’s hotels, the park is huge and great to walk around. Navigation is challenging for the first time, maps around will help. WiFi worked well. The number of people is linked to the season, weather, and public holidays. On a cloudy Sunday, you can expect fewer people than on a sunny Monday. Prices for drinks and treats are relatively low (much lower than in hotels nearby). Dislikes: In August 2025 the half of the dry park was closed for renovation. The biggest frustration is linked to the aqua park. To get a key from a locker and a towel you have to stand in a queue for approximately 20-30 minutes. And they accept only cash deposits to get both without the ATM around. Second sad news - there is no area with the sun-beds near a big pool to chill, no areas with grass, nothing. Only benches. A limited number of sun-beds are available at the beach for an extra charge. I kindly ask the management to automate/digitize the lockers/towels service as you did with the faceID entrance to the park.

Fantastic place where you feel some childhood vibes. We went the in the afternoon it was so beautiful when all the lights turned on after the sunset. I was there with my girlfriend so it was a very romantic time walking around the area.

The park is quite large. I only watched the 8 pm song and dance show and the 9 pm fireworks show. The next day I watched the 11 pm bird show. It was very interesting to see all kinds of different bird shows. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the park's central point 16, and then it's a 5-minute walk to the bird park.

We arrived at VinWonders around 10:30 AM on a weekday, thinking we’d have enough time to see everything — but we definitely underestimated how much there is to do here. If you’re planning to explore the rides, water park, gardens, animal kingdom, and catch the final show, I highly recommend getting there right when it opens. The cable car over to the island was a great start to the day, offering beautiful panoramic views of Nha Trang and the bay — it really sets the tone for the experience. Make sure you buy your tickets in advance, as you can’t purchase them on the island. Once you’re in, you can opt for Fast Passes (200,000 VND per ride), which are well worth it if you’re short on time or visiting on a busy day. There’s something for everyone here — thrill rides, massive water slides, a beautifully landscaped Japanese Garden, an impressive plant conservatory, and even a mini-zoo. The age restrictions at the water park are posted, but unclear how strictly they’re enforced — something to be aware of if you’re older and hoping to go on certain slides. The final show starts at 7:30 PM and finishes around 8:10 PM, and it’s worth staying for if you have the energy after a long day. Food prices were similar to Nha Trang city — maybe a bit higher at some outlets, but nothing too outrageous. Getting back was easy — a Grab from the cable car terminal cost us 72,000 VND. Overall, it’s a fantastic day out with a ton to see and do. Just plan ahead, go early, and wear comfy shoes! Opening hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

We had a wonderful experience at this theme park. Kids enjoyed so much especially the zipline and the Alpine Coaster rides. The laser show is exceptional and the Artful Vietnam Show is great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved it!

We were in Nha Trang heading north, and we stumbled across it online . It was £25 a ticket, and it was well worth the price. There are places for everyone, children, to elderly. All the food options were amazing. The rides were quick to get on, and the waterpark was by far the highlight for us. You will end up queuing to get on the cable car to get on, but if you get there at 9am when it opens, you'll have a shorter queue. Overall, if you're in Nha Trang, it's a cheap, fun day out.

Monkeys ain't dangerous, they won't bite or scratch at all. They friendly and sweet. And the money's show are just fun We were visiting together with Tour company, so as i know it would be cheaper

Very touristy, they destroyed the whole island, there is nothing natural left in it, they changed its entire structure and paved everything around with asphalt. There are terrible shows of monkeys riding bicycles and all kinds of other stunts. In retrospect, it was a terrible mistake to come here. But In any case, for those who do want to arrive, important information: bananas are bought before boarding the boat at the ticket booth - 20k rather than 35k inside. Price list attached in the pictures, 180k for ticket. A return boat leaves approximately every half hour. We were there for half an hour, gave the monkeys some food and left as quickly as possible. Tha monkeys aggressive between themselves but we didn’t experience it on humans. You just need to respect their territory and land, and be assertive if you hold bananas because they will test your fear level.

Two stars, not because it's a bad place or even that it costs too much for what it is. It's simply a place suited for children. There's not much to captivate an adult's attention for very long. We arrived with 2.5 hours to spare before the show. I would suggest cutting it a lot closer unless, you really want to spend a bunch of time swimming in the ocean or sitting around waiting.....at least there's Bia Saigon

They literally force the monkeys to envolve by making them have races on little motorbikes - this and the circus show are probably not the best animal husbandry but besides that they can run around the whole island freely and can get feeded by visitors mostly by bananas - buy the bananas BEFORE getting on the island if you want to save money as they have crazy prices on the island - nice beaches around the island with swings and stuff to enjoy clear water - entry is 180k which u pay by purchasing a ferry ticket - ferry times are as everything in vietnam a bit random on times

Had a lot of fun here walking around feeding the monkeys. The circus show was unlike anything I’ve seen before although it did make me feel sorry for the animals.

We went in April, I wouldn't suggest to go there in this month🤣 It was unbearably hot and we were tired easily because of this and couldn't enjoy fully. So choose a nice weather to go there. Didn't see many monkeys though maybe because we didn't bring food 😕 I was more scared than excited 😆 cuz I'm afraid of animals but at the end I got used to them haha. There are many nice locations like a swing, flowers, photo zones and beach OH and there was a monkey show which included monkey races as well. We kinda enjoyed this trip. And the way to the island 🏝 is pretty 😍

Hon Mun island. I booked my snorkling tour with turtle dive company. Less than 10 people and not in a group of china mainland people. Very satisfied with everything.the guide was very nice and friendly,also helpful. Water quality is beautiful,lots of underwater creatures to see. We jumped in 2 spots in one tour, they have bathroom on boat and it's Clean. My tour cane with lunch on boat. Simple dish but very delicious. Enough for everyone. I had a very great experience.

One of the most developed and urbanized beaches I’ve been to! Despite being in a highly urbanized city, the beach is still beautiful and the sand looks great. I’ll definitely go back!

Put aside super clear sea water. For this, you need to be other part of the world. Basically, this beach is lively. Whether in the morning or before sun set. It is always full of activities. 50-50 local or foreigners.

Nha Trang beach 🌊 is beautiful, free to swim 🏖️, and pleasantly uncrowded. Sitting on the sand at night ✨ to watch the sea is also a great experience.

The central beach in Nha Trang was honestly very disappointing. The beach itself is dirty, with a lot of trash around, and vendors constantly walking up trying to sell you things. The water was the worst part – out of 15 days, it was only clear twice (and even then, only “clear” by local standards). Most days the water was muddy, full of trash, and often covered with a strange brown-green foam. To me, it looked like waste or chemicals from ships passing by. After swimming, when I washed my swim shorts, the water turned dark green, and even the white pockets were stained. That says a lot about the water quality. This beach could be paradise if it were properly maintained – just cleaning the sand and stopping ships from dumping waste would make a huge difference. But right now, it’s not a place I’d recommend. If you want clean beaches, Da Nang is a much better option. I spent over 30 days there and the water was almost always clean (except for the occasional jellyfish, which were harmless). ⚠️ One note: most photos you’ll see online are from the rare days when the water is clear, so don’t be fooled.

Had a blast sitting on a sand relaxing and eating Banh Mi, the waves were nice and cool breeze and warm sun.

Absolutely love this beach, it really gives Nha Trang its charm. Good for swimming but beware of the strong waves, plenty of sunbeds also available along the beach. I also came here for a run in the morning, love the scenery! ⛱️

The place is pretty clean and very spacious place to swim. This beach area very long, but the place near agarwood tower until in front of novotel was very crowded in the morning until noon. The little over the north has less people swimming. If you wake up early morning you might able to watch sunrise.

Small aquariums and a few large ones with some beautiful unique sea life. The tunnel aquariums are really cool with the sharks. The museum part has a lot to offer about history and knowledge of the sea. I really loved the whale skeleton at the entrance. It’s only 40k to enter and 4k for bike parking. You can hire a guide for 60k but it’s not really needed. It’s worth a look here. There are a ton of fans and the restrooms were clean with toilet paper. Recommended

Pretty cool place if you’re into marine stuff. The aquarium isn’t super modern, but there’s a lot to see — from live fish to preserved sea creatures. Some parts felt a bit old, but overall it was interesting and educational. Spent about an hour walking around. Worth a quick stop if you’re in Nha Trang.

I came here the first time back in 2014 and it was a nice place to learn about marine life. Now I'm very disappointed. It's sad to see how miserable this place has become. It has basically become a selfie spot with a lot of noise. Very unpleasant experience. Dirty too

Cheap ticket price (40k), plenty of creatures and infographic to see and learn. The aquarium is beautiful, but it can get very crowded during holidays.

It's a must-go place for family, especially with young kids. There are a lot of things for everyone to learn here. If you like taking photos, it's also a great place. However, I hope the tourists will respect each other and the creatures by lowering their volume when talking instead of screaming and swearing at the fish. Please don't turn on the flash light when taking photos.

🇬🇧 This system has just renovated recently which helps visitors to go faster across the bay. Ticket price is vnd 200k per person for cable travelling only. “Flying” over the sea with listing to music is a really good experience. Note that do not bring drinks, snack or foods before entering the cable.

A must when visiting Nha Trang! Gotta say I'd experienced my best cable car rides in Vietnam, this one crossing the ocean from mainland Nha Trang to the Vinpearl island as well as the one in Da Bang leading up to Bana Hills. We were lucky to visit during off-peak season, so not much queuing and we got our tickets fast from the ticket counter. Highly recommend visiting, great experience and fantastic views! 🚡🌇

We went around 4 pm and it wasn’t busy at all. We could easy walk through and go with the cable car. We had a nice view on our way to the island.

really great place, but if your child is under 130 cm, hi can only use 5% of the water park. we have not seen this listed anywhere. But in everything else it gives a great experience. We had a great day. what you get it not expensive.

It's beautiful when you're outside and take a look from beach ⛱. But my team and I really got uncomfortable feeling when we're get in.., bcz and why why why among the great nature they built the artificially aquarium like this??? They made artificial big wall, artificial tree,..not nice, not suitable, not matched.. so hot weather inside with no fans around. Just left a big question about the design and designers??🤑😷We turned back, getting out and saw nothing special outside in this TriNguyen Aquarium. No restaurant or any activities here...

Just a small decorated place with some fish from fresh water and sea water. Decoration inside out is not bad and the surrounding is good for photography purpose but the limited aquariums inside truly not much. But yeah, as a tourist, just droppin' by for good :)

One of the nicest street to drive scooter in Vietnam! This reminds me of driving on PCH in LA. It’s not as big of a street as PCH, but it’s very nice driving along the coast. There are many nice hotels and beaches on this street and it’s pretty active at night as well.

Sailing club

Basically this is the most famous might market at beach road. You just can't miss it. This market only offer souvenirs and others small gift. It is not mean for food. Spend only 5 minutes and you have done the whole market.

[Visited january 2023] The market is located right next to the beach, which is great. You can find anything from souvenirs to dried fruit, beachwear to jewellery. It’s mainly focused on tourists, in my opinion, but nevertheless a great place to shop around.

We went here during Tet holiday this 2025. Some stalls were close and we arrived around 4:30pm which I think it was early for the night market but some stalls were open already. I think some prices of dried fruits and nuts were good and same with Bihn Tay Market. We had our coffee at highlands which is available at the other end of the street.

Went to find good street food but just souvenir shops... maybe I went to the wrong area. Loved it regardless!

It's a good half day visit. The environment is very well maintained and presented. It is nice walk to the waterfall and a fun swim. The food wasn't the best, but ok. Well worth a visit.

We went there on a Sunday by motorbike. It was easy to find as there a many signs along the roads leading to the Ba Ho waterfall. Parking is free. You pay 185.000 dong per person and skywalk and kayak is included. You get a bottle of water per person. At the entry are shuttles who can bring you through the forest to the waterfall. We walked and it’s a beautiful clean path with toilets, trash bins and food or drink stands along the way. Beautiful atmosphere. The last part up to the waterfall is climbing up on huge rocks which are painted with arrows to lead the way. But you MUST have closed and kind of hiking shoes. It is a bit rough way and there are no ropes or sidebars to hold on. I would say you definitely need a bit better physical condition to do this. There were some younger people or old people who struggled to get up there to first level. We didn’t go further as it was enough adventure for me personally up to this level and it was about to rain. The water was not so high and it looked more like river with huge rocks and they were very slippery. Every person who got into water could not made it out selfly as there was just nothing to hold onto. I slipped a few times in the water due to massive stones all sizes which you couldn’t see as the water was not so clear. In the water many small fish trying to bite your foot and legs. That got me uncomfortable. Water was cold and refreshing, but nothing for beginners or totally inexperienced people. Because you can easily get hurt very badly. It’s a beautiful place and definitely a great atmosphere there and people having fun. But I would recommend that they put up some more ropes on the rocks to climb up and down the way or even at the lakes that you can get easier in and out the water.

Nice well kept natural area that’s easy access. Typical Vietnam, I felt very safe as they monitor the areas. The hike up to the 3 lakes is gorgeous, however, you need to be in good physical condition. Nobody told me about the little fish in the stream that nibble on you! I know where the aquarium fish come from that they use to nibble on your feet in tourist spots. Well worth the adventure but ring yours game for the hike.

They include you mandatory canoe and skyline in the price, whether you use it or not price is same. But to use a small locker, you hace to pay extra.Buggy us also extra and unless you travel with disabled persons, it is not needed, path is pretty smooth and nice until the lakes. There is almost 0 work to keep somewhat accesible the path to lakes. Apart from some arrows painted on rocks and 2 ropes hanging from 2 rocks, there is no support to get there. Rocks are mostly super tall and unless you're above 1.80m tall, you'll have a super hard time to get to the lakes. And lakes are the nicest part really.I had to stop after 1st lake, as path to second lake turned into a 5m deep hole , super abrupt descent, vertical, with only one rope. Unless you really enjoy high risk if falling, adrenaline, descending and climbing vertical rocks by rope, you will arrive max at first lake if you are somewhat fit, with a huge hurdle and sweat. And one more thing for your safety. Don't come by bus, get a grab car even if you come from other place and need to wait more for a grab to take you. I was hit by a careless motorcycle on the way here, luckily enough I only got very bad bruises, and did not need to get medical help.

Beautiful, untouched scenery, clear water, and fresh air, definitely worth a visit. However, the trail is rocky and can get quite slippery, especially when climbing to the second and third pools, so it’s best to wear grippy sports shoes for safety. Recommend heading up to the areas near Pool 1 or Pools 2 and 3, as they’re quieter and cleaner. The lower area near the Skywalk can get noisy and a bit dirty, as some local visitors enter without tickets and have loud picnics or drink there.

Very nice landscape of red sand dunes at sunrise and sunset. Nice view. Beautiful nature. A lot of garbage and even more loud and screaming asian tourists. Walking a few more minutes to the top makes it worth to visit, than it‘s way more quiet and Not that crowded

Basically, a great beach – well-maintained with clean sand. Toilets and showers are available and kept clean. Beautiful view of the bay. There is also a bar and food available on site. However, it’s noticeable that tour buses regularly arrive with large groups of visitors, particularly from East and Southeast Asia. Many of them take part in organized tours, including music performances and drone shows, which dominate the beach atmosphere. This makes it difficult to truly relax. Additionally, at the entrance, some animals such as deer and peacocks are kept in conditions that do not appear to meet good animal welfare standards.

Just don't come here. This place is filled with garbage and plastic, making it impossible to enjoy a walk or swim, even though you have to pay an entrance fee of 80 per person. It's deplorable that the owners don't seem to care about the state of the beach and the surrounding area at all. Nothing personal, it's just business

Very average beach for a tropical destination. The entrance to the actual beach is 80k VND per adult. The beach itself comprises of smaller part of the entire area. There are more scenic spots along diverging paths that offer picturesque views for free, but the staff aggressively discourages visitors from stopping to take photos or enjoy these areas. We were rudely confronted by an older security guard, cigarette in mouth, riding a rusty scooter, who chased us away from one such spot. His demeanor was hostile and unprofessional, trailing us just 2-3 meters behind as we returned to the main path, as if we were trying to sneak away. At the exit gate, when we paused briefly, he waved his hand and shouted “Go!”—the only English word he seemed to know. This level of rudeness was unwarranted and left a sour impression. The management needs to retrain their staff or reconsider who represents their business. Such unprofessional behavior tarnishes Vietnam’s reputation as a welcoming destination. I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you want a frustrating and unwelcoming experience. There are far better beaches and attractions to explore.

This beach is a disgrace. The sand is dirty, the water is filthy, and there’s plastic waste everywhere. Animals are kept in tiny cages, which is absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, they have the audacity to charge an entrance fee of 80,000 VND per person. Stay away from this beach.

This beach is one of the best in Nha Trang. The sand is clean and pleasant, the waves are weaker than on the city beaches due to the location of the bay. Entrance to the beach is paid, 80k dong. There are sun loungers, changing rooms, showers. Only the restaurant does not correspond to the level of the beach.

Long Thanh Art Gallery is a gem! Mr. Long’s black and white art collection is incredible, and I was blown away by the talent on display. The pieces are so striking and emotive, it's like they're telling a story. I ended up buying a few beautiful artwork, and it's one of my best purchases ever! If you're into art, you have to check this gallery out.

This gallery is lovely; I really enjoyed the beautiful pictures on display. The photographer has incredible talent. When I visited, the photographer was also there, he is very friendly. I highly recommend visiting this gallery if you appreciate art and photography like I do.

Out of respect for the artist I have refrained from posting one or two photos I took of his most evocative photos. He came, almost running toward me arms crossed, somewhat angrily saying, “No, no. No photos!” Perhaps he’s gotten sick of people visiting, shooting photos of his work and leaving without purchasing anything. I tried engaging him in conversation, complimenting his work and asking if he knew a couple of other photographers whose work I admire here in Vietnam. Perhaps that was the wrong topic to introduce. In any case he seemed disinterested in me and my interest in his work. I’ll take personal responsibility for that and try to find a better way to connect next time. His work is, indeed interesting and technically quite good. It was hard to discern, however, how much he might have connected with his subjects on a personal level. I’d be curious to know more about that.

A nice and spacious place in front of a lovely beach with good decorations. But it will be hot in a summer day. At the weekend they hold mini music on the beach. Price is not cheap but fine.

We ate lunch here and were greeted very welcoming! The portion sizes are rather big. The service was very kind and also acted very nice upon a request. The food was good but we would recommend the Vietnamese dishes more than the Western dishes! The drinks were tasty as well! But the best thing must be the atmosphere and view! You can sit right at the beach and overlook the whole bay and you are surrounded by stylish decorations

This place has become my regular spot. It’s simply a great place in Nha Trang. The quality of the food, drinks, and coffee (excellent Espresso) is up to Western standards – exceptional! Unfortunately, the European breakfast and also the Espresso is quite expensive and a bit of a disappointment for me, considering we’re in Vietnam, not Switzerland. Still, the view of the beach and the sea, the location, the vibe – just beautiful. I also notice how much attention is paid to detail, which is truly exceptional.

We came during the weekend holiday so it was packed. Entry ticket is 200k came with a drink. Drinks are average. However the singers and the entertainment team did great on their performance. We enjoy it, luckily it wasn’t that hot at night.

Located in Havana Hotel. You have to go to the stand on the ground floor either book a package for drinks at the bar or pick a set menu/ a la carte then they give you an envelope to go up the elevator. Once you get onto the floor, the staff will check the envelop then they took us to the restaurant and we sat by the sides absorbing the best views in nha trang. It's beautiful up there , service was great, food was delicious. Probably the best meal we've had in Nha Trang. Cocktails were good too and we went into the bar afterwards that was busy and had a food vibe

We visited Mountain Church, also known as the Nha Trang Cathedral, but unfortunately arrived outside of opening hours. The gates were closed, and access to the grounds is limited to certain times — mostly around mass. From the street, you can still see the beautiful clocktower and some of the façade, but much of the church is perched up higher on the hill and hidden behind the surrounding wall. Even so, it’s an impressive building with classic Gothic-style stone architecture that stands out from the modern city around it. A stunning example of Neo-Gothic architecture in the heart of Nha Trang. Built on a small hill, it offers a lovely panoramic view of the city. Whether you come for quiet reflection, photography, or to admire the historic design, Mountain Church is well worth a visit.

Beautiful church. I went on Easter Morning so there’s a ceremony, was really peaceful. The only thing that needs to improve is donation part. Just 10k but it makes the visit not satisfied. Locals wont pay but the guard asked me to put 10k. Small amount still, but it supposes to be from our willingness, not demanding. That’s sad 😢

A theme park Cathedral on earth that DEMANDS A DONATION for entry? The Nha Trang Cathedral is a magnificent structure that is worth a visit. Nice walk-up with beautiful statues along the sides for photography. BEWARE: This is also the ONLY church on earth we encountered that DEMANDS a donation. The guard at the entry will stop everyone, shout and point at a box for attention. You got a big smile in return after we DONATED VND200000 for 2. A toilet break will cost you another 4000 each at this church. The issue is not with the amount but logic. Besides the beautiful beaches, Nha Trang has a long way to achieve a grade one city status for tourism.

The Mountain Church in Nha Trang is a stunning architectural gem, serene, well-preserved, and perched with a nice view of the city. You're allowed to sit quietly inside, which offers a peaceful moment away from the bustle. However, be prepared: although entrance is technically free, the security staff insist on a donation, making it feel more like a mandatory fee than a voluntary offering. It’s a bit off-putting, but if you can look past that, the church itself is worth a visit for its beauty and calm atmosphere.

Very beautiful church, we happen visit on a Sunday and mass was going on. Entering was a bit confusing because the sign said exit and guard was trying say something to other tourist pointing to the mass times on a sign. I seen the locals just walking up the stairs so I followed em.

Nothing much to see at Nha Trang therefore pay a visit here after having our meals. Church architecture is nice and I like this than the one @ pink church at HCM.

Must visit when in Nha Trang, can go earlier before the cable car operates since this opens at 6am. Features a wide variety of marine creatures, some relatively rare ones too such as sea turtles and sharks. While I do feel that many of the enclosures are currently very cramped, with many animals squeezed into a small space, I hope they are able to raise sufficient funds to expand their habitat. Ticket cost 40000 for adults and can be bought on-site. As we went very early, we are unsure if there will be a queue for tickets at later timings, but we did observe crowds building up at the entrance as tour groups come in.

Interesting place. It was pretty crowded but I went on Sunday. It has lots of fishes, some sharks and crocodiles. Also has beautiful beach view. Four stars because crocodiles area was dirty and you definitely should clean it.😢

I have been in November and there were four stray marine fanciers - including me - in the whole museum. Now is July and we have here four tourists per square meter, who mostly do not stop screaming on each other, to steam out excitement or just for fun. Three quarters of sharks from the open tank are gone, so are rainbow lobsters and few other species. Despite that, if you are fond of tropic aquatic biology, here you still can find quite something to feast your eyes on. Friday, 11 am

There is a reason why this museum is a staple in every single travel agency’s itinerary when it comes to Nha Trang. This is the place to catch a glimpse of which creatures lurk under Vietnam’s Eastern Sea. There are texts introducing them in their scientific names, common English names, and localized names, in both living form and preserved specimen form. Whether you care little about the biological significance of it all, or you are a die-hard nature loving nerd, this is the place for you. I only leave a four because I find the displays still a little bit lacking. I’m most interested about the wet specimens, yet that part is close off to the public.

I had the chance to visit the Oceanographic Museum in Nha Trang during my recent trip, and it was a surprisingly interesting experience. This place is a great destination for anyone curious about marine life, and it’s especially suitable for families with kids.I was particularly impressed by the aquarium area, where I saw sharks, sea turtles, colorful corals

Nice Pagoda located at around 30 min. ride from Nha Trang. Accessible by scooter and car. I took a Grab Car. The site is a little high up on the side of a hill. You will have to climb more or less a hundred steps. It is worth a visit for the view too which will give you a nice glimpse at rice fields. About the complaints of some visitors about garbage being all over the place. Clearly, environmental issues are far from being a priority in the area. However, the temples are clean and well-conserved. A paradox, maybe but a reality though. Buddhism stated that : if the good exists there is also the bad. So true.

We drove about 20 minutes from the city centre to visit the temple. There are a couple of hundred steps to get up to the utmost top. It’s optional if you want to go all the way to the top or else there are other exits to see the city skyline. In my opinion, it was just average. Be aware that there is a parking fee to park your car.

Parking fee is 10k Not too good, not terrible, nothing special at all. There is many barking dogs and some monkeys under the peak

Beautiful little hike up here. Very Zen and quiet. There is a very beautiful view of the mountains when you hike up. And waterfalls at your reaching the temples.

Nice view and worth a visit if you have a lot of time, and has already done most of the things you wanted to do in Nha Trang. It takes 30mins by motorbike from the city center, and you need to park the bike at the parking there and walk up stairs, which is very pretty tough. It takes about 30 to 50mins to get to the top depends on how fit you are. Make sure to bring a 1L water bottle or buy it there.

To get to this temple, you will have to travel to the outskirts of Nha Trang. The journey itself is an adventure. We passed by local villages, padi fields stretching to the horizon and an old railroad track. It was another wet morning but the drizzle did nothing to dampen our spirits. We also have to walk a long flight of stairs in order to reach the temple. Lush greenery and small waterfalls accompanied us throughout our journey. We finally ascended the hill and marvelled at the view of the valley below. The rain and the most obscured most of the view and I vowed to come back during a clear sunny day for that perfect shot.

Peaceful atmosphere, rewarding view on the top

They have spa in the beautiful spot. Mud bath-Mineral water bath-Swimming pool all have not really got water, just good enough to relax in the hot weather. They recommend not using shampoo and body wash after mud bath, and they offer clothes for mud bath so you don’t need to bring many things. Some people worry about underwear after mud bath, but it’s quite watery so it didn’t stained after bath. I liked it!

Such a nice place to have relaxing day!!! Beautiful place, clean and spacious. I chose the package with mud bath 20 minutes and herbal bath 30 minutes which cost 315.000d. I think you can choose something cheaper. Because herbal bath was so hot, I couldn’t stay too long. But sltill very pleasurable. Mud bath was very nice. I think my skin became more soft. So many pools, and resting areas. They also have restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine, juices and ice cream. Beautiful pond with lotus flowers, surrounded with trees, bridges, waterfall on the top and big banyan tree. Recommend to visit during your stay in Nah Trang. It was not that much people. I guess it’s low season now in end of September, also it was morning at 9 am. They give you free 350ml water on entrance, but bring more with yourself. I took a grab from Nha Trang and payed 35.000d around 15 minutes.

This place is very interesting. It looks great and luxurious at first but then it’s very weird and brick everywhere. It doesn’t look like a spa like it says…Locals really love coming here and all the Russian community that’s nearby comes here. It’s very busy during the day and better in early morning or after 3:00pm. I didn’t even take photos of the rest of it cause it was underwhelming… note: we only got the pools and waterfall accesss not the mud baths cause idk, being hot in mud while it’s already hot and humid outside doesn’t sound relaxing … The pools: there’s hot pools and a waterfall that’s warm. It’s nice after you get out of colder area. The cooler pool is actually just luke warm. And the jacuzzi is luke warm too. It’s okay. There’s only one cool area and it’s the shooting water walkthrough thing that’s kinda exhilarating. Mudbaths: we didn’t go inside them but they also wouldn’t let us just see them since we wanted to and there was no body there. You get free waters and can rent a towel for 100,000. There’s food to order like these big pie 🥧 things and drinks but it’s okay looking. We didn’t get the mud baths, only the pools and waterfall accesss and Overall it is extremely underwhelming but it was nice to just sit and relax in the shade after cooling off in the pools. It’s a family place.

One of my most cherished experiences, I would go every day if I could. For a quiet and private atmosphere, I highly recommend the Nui Spa package. For those who don’t know what to expect, this was the general flow of our Nui Spa package: - Check in, then transported to the private spa area - Change room with lockers (we brought a phone for photos, everything else stayed in lockers). Provided with towels, robes and bathing suits. - Taken to private mud + mineral bath area, stayed ~1hr. Completely private. - Spent ~2hrs in the private spa pool, jacuzzi and hydrotherapy area. Shared with others who also purchased a spa package, but still very quiet. - Provided with fruit and tea throughout stay. Extremely soothing, especially after getting badly sunburnt the day before. The facility is very large and I would have loved to see the rest of it, but we were content to spend all our time in the private area.

A great experience in Nha Trang! We arrive as soon as it opened at 7:30am and spent 30 mins in the pool before the mud bath was ready. It was great in the morning as it’s cooler and we were the only people there so it was super quiet. Most people arrive after 9pm. The mud bath area is really well looked after and it’s so fun to do as a couple or a group.

Tip: Bring an old dark-colored swimsuit (the mud can stain!), a change of clothes, and your own towel to save a little. Alternatively, you can borrow a swimsuit here for free. Verdict: It's a quirky, authentic, and wonderfully relaxing experience. Leave your inhibitions at the door, embrace the mess, and you'll have an amazing time. 100% recommend!

Came here because of TikTok, probably the only reason I even came to Nha Trang. Not disappointed, very interesting place. Hot/cold swimming pools, mud baths with a mineral cleanse after. Definitely worth it for the price.

A fantastic, safe and enjoyable group to snorkel with in Nha Trang. Supported by a fun loving team of experienced diving and snorkel instructors, guiding a range of activities for beginners and pros alike. We visited 2 dive spots and followed up with a great buffet Viet lunch after a "tough" day of diving and playing in the sun 😂❤️ A big thanks to our guide and instructor Alona for her communication and support from end to end. Highly recommend this group.

I took the Open Water Diver course with Ty and had an awesome time! Ty was super thorough and clear with his instructions, and he made sure I learned a lot while still enjoying my time. At one point, I had some difficulty during my dive, and Ty immediately noticed and proactively helped me correct the issue. The hotel pickup was convenient and punctual. The rest of the boat crew was similarly proactively helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend!

We had a phenomenal diving experience getting our Advanced Open Water certification. Our guide Khoa was super friendly and patient. He explained everything with perfect clarity. 11 out of 10.

Great experience with Huy, our dive master. We are 2 certified divers, with our 9 year old daughter and 12 year old nephew who did 2 discovery dives today! We all had a great time, professional staff, good food and nice diving. We especially liked the cavern!

Matthew our dive instructor has guided us very gently. I had some issues wish tank and had to float many times but he has helped me to drag me under the water again amd again. Plus I have missed my buddy once but he could find her somehow. I really appreciate him and all dive instructors accompany with us. Highly recommended.

It was a pretty easy choosing Vietnam active to get my PADI open water cert. I read many of the previous reviews and they were spot on with my experience. Chris was my instructor over a 3 day period. From day one he was great, super friendly, easy going and very knowledgeable it all things scuba related. He was easy to talk to and answered any and all questions I had. His pool and open water instruction was top notch, he was excellent at explaining and demonstrating all the skills. I highly recommend using Chris if you’re interested in scuba diving. Thanks again Chris and thanks Vietnam Active.

I came with my friend, who’s an experienced diver, to do a Discovery Dive. She was allowed to dive with me as well, which we thought was nice. Everything was organised seamlessly, from transportation from the hotel to the boat, to the actual diving, and the lunch that followed. My instructor, Schalk, was really patient, educational and friendly, I felt super safe for my first dives ! Overall, had a wonderful time, loads of fun, and would definitely recommend PADI and Schalk if you consider diving in Nha Trang ! 👌 (Got to see whales too !)

In the Rock Garden, next to the Japanese house, you turned on the speaker, which non-stop says something very loudly in Vietnamese. In the rock garden, you want silence, not continuous advertising. You have a wonderful island, keep the silence from the volume of the Vietnamese street

We bought the tickets through our hotel and thought there was a weight limit on only a small number of the rides. In fact, there was a weight limit on all rides and our experience was completely ruined because we couldn't ride any rides. We spoke to the park manager and he said we could only get a refund through our hotel because we bought the tickets through the hotel and he could only give us a small VIP tour as compensation, but this tour was very boring and we asked him if despite this tour we could still get a refund from the hotel and he said yes. Later, when we spoke to the hotel, the hotel contacted him and he denied what he said. The ride employees were very rude and just shouted at me "kilogram! no!!!" and looked at me with a judgmental look.

I honestly loved it. I’m from the United States and have been to many amusement parks and this may be one of my favorites. The only down fall is the river cruise with the animals, I’m not a fan of zoos because of how they treat animals and don’t give them proper habitats but it wasn’t awful here, there are no elephant rides or tiger shows which I really appreciate and the monkeys and birds get very nice sanctuary’s! The cats and the elephants may not get quite enough land but they seem to be doing alright, and while I was there one of the female white lions was pregnant so I’m glad they are trying to keep the lion population going. The water park was a blast!! I’m an adult but totally felt like a child. I didn’t bring a bathing suit and was really glad they had a shop full of bathing suits. All the water slides and arcade games were free. Lost of food to choose from, we had the most amazing dessert, it was shaved ice cream with cookies and fruit, loved it!! We went off season so it wasn’t busy at all and wasn’t very hot. Great great day!

very expensive for entrance. there are 3 themas on here. first is an water park. here is good to swim coz there are big swmming pool and water sliding. second is small safari but never expect spacious safari. jut few of animals in here. the last is amusement land. dont need to wait so long not involving rollercoaster. its good to go 1 time if you visit Nha trang. but i think here is not 'must have to go place'

This place is full of trash, old and dirty! If you had tried any other water park in the world, then this will be really big disappointment! Be aware of those water slide tubes, you might get cut while sliding down, because those tubes are too old already, and not even well maintained! The height limit here is too high, most of the games are 1.2 meters and above so if you're with kids they can mostly play at Kids Area only, kind of super boring! Definitely no going back!

Vinpearl dose a very good job with entertanment, could easly spend a whole day. If the line is too long for the cable cars the boat is a good quick option. They dont allow food to be taken over and will keep it till you return. The cable car line dose move fairl quick and is worth at least one way.

Trip is appropriate only for people that do not feel empathy for animals. It is essentially torture island circus. Plus side, island is a lot cleaner than average, prices low, nice park and in summer you can go swimming.

We decided to take the VIP pool package. Private bath/pool beautiful room, shower and rest room. I’d attempted to book online the day before, but couldn’t get my card to work on the system, no worries tho an email arrived from the resort that a VIP package had been reserved in my name. I emailed back immediately how happy I was they found the problem and we’d be there the following day. We arrived just after 9am (traffic!), paid at the desk and a buggy brought us to our room. The hostess took our food order and explained what would happen (timing wise) through the day. 9.30am we had our mud bath (it was drawn and ready when we arrived) 10.30am pool time till 11am for the first of our chosen ‘light snacks’ I had chicken and rice - chicken leg with a cup of boiled rice and salad. Hubby had a full plate of vegetarian noodles! Fruit plate & juices. 12.30 we were back for our herbal bath, then off for Himalayan rock salt sauna then oil massage. Then off for our next ‘light snack’ we had mushrooms, vegetarian noodles, tuna sandwich (not a fan, but hey there has to be something I’m not keen on right?) fruit plate & juices. Back to the room just after 4pm. If you had energy this is when you’d head to the water park, we back into the pool area by our villa as did others who’d chosen this experience. An incredible day I’d highly recommend. It’s going to be one of my most memorable experiences of my holiday in Vietnam.

An extraordinary experience! A well managed water park with various facilities for relaxation and excitement. The mud bath is particularly good. They provide outfit and towel, you can just walk in and enjoy, size of the mud pool is subject to the number of people with spacious setting. A two thumbs up must try item! There are a number of slides, fit for kids from 3 to teenagers, or parents even grandparents. The food prices are reasonable, you can spend a whole day here without repeating the water activities.

Great is the word that I think is the most suitable for this place. It is the most worthy destination in the journey to Nha Trang. I went with my team and took a hot mineral bath. There are many hot mineral water swimming pools, the heat level is also different, so try from the least hot lake to the hottest lake to get used to it gradually. Some people in our group also like to use mud baths. There are more artificial waterfalls, thrilling game areas. I chose to add a herbal body massage package in 60 minutes, I like to be fascinated, after finishing, the body seemed to be full of vitality, abundant energy even though I couldn't sleep all night before, the staff was also very gentle and polite. An excellent place for relaxation. Truly a paradise for tourists. The hot mineral spring is great, it relaxes your body. There's even a normal pool, and a water park section. There's a restaurant, whose food is also good and enjoyable. When you're spent and tired, you can just chill and relax on the chairs nearby, or even sunbathing. Overall: Wonderful place, definitely recommend visiting.

I-Resort is truly a perfect choice for relaxation in Nha Trang. There are various combo packages to suit different needs. My husband and I chose the 400,000 VND ticket per person, which included a 20-minute hot mud bath plus access to the swimming pool and hot–cold mineral pools. The locker area is well-equipped with towels, hair dryers, changing rooms, and combs, which is very convenient. After changing clothes, the staff guided us clearly on where to go and what to do, which made the whole process very comfortable. The resort mainly focuses on mineral pools and swimming pools, with three soaking pools of different temperatures, so you can choose the one you like best – personally, I enjoyed all of them. There’s also a fun experience of boiling eggs in a natural hot rock pool. The water is a bit salty due to the seaside location, but it’s not an issue. The overall space is clean, peaceful, and unique. One inconvenience is that sandals are only sold at a single counter, with no rental service, which can be bothersome when moving around. Also, there is no shower gel provided, and the “do’s and don’ts” are not clearly explained in advance. Overall, the service is good, the staff is attentive, and the relaxation experience is wonderful. Definitely worth 5 stars and highly recommended when visiting Nha Trang.

One of my favourite spots in Nha Trang, whenever I feel like letting my hair down and enjoying the stunning view of the city and coastline. Today I tried cucumber and pandan mocktail and I was amazed by it! The pandan flavour was strong and I highly recommend it.

Altitude Rooftop Bar offers one of the most stunning panoramic views in Nha Trang. You can see the coastline stretch endlessly under the night lights — truly mesmerizing. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, with smooth music and a warm, refined glow from the tables.

I came up to the rooftop bar, and Selina — one of the staff members - was incredibly kind and warm. The drinks were great, and the view was beautiful, too.

The tower itself is the beauty of Nha Trang. But in the tower, nothing much but you can appreciate the beauty of the sea. Many locals here to spend their time to inhale fresh air. Nothing much activity to do. But across the street is a market where you can visit and buy souvenirs.

The tower itself is beautiful to look at from the outside, a towering white sculpture with blue windows. Inside is a mini museum with some history. The plaza outside has a fountain, it’s beautiful floral arrangements of poinsettias outside it’s also right along the beach

This is an absolute icon of Nha Trang and a must-visit for a check-in! The landmark and surrounding area are incredibly clean and well-managed, with very few street vendors. Inside, you can find a great display of local Nha Trang products. Right next to the tower is an absolutely stunning beach. I highly recommend taking a morning swim here! There are convenient fresh water faucets for washing up and even public showers available. The climate is mild and pleasant, making it a comfortable place to explore. It's clear that Nha Trang is committed to sustainable tourism—prices are very reasonable, and many things are sold at affordable, local prices.

Agarwood Tower is a multi-venue performing arts center in Nha Trang. It was closed at night. The square in front is really crowded with lots of visitors. There's a nearby night market, but as a Vietnamese local, there wasn't much for me to see.

Free to visit and enjoy. It is part of Nha Trang. The surrounding area is always bustling with activities and there is the night market across the road.

Since it's a place you constantly pass by, you don't need to intentionally look for it. Starting at 5 AM, Vietnamese people do various activities in this square.

I don’t speak Vietnamese but praise God that Nha Trang has at least one Christian church! This was a Good Friday service just before Easter. May God strengthen these fellow brethren in Jesus name, Amen!

I know the church is open to the public for free, isn't it? But when we two girls got there, the doorkeeper/guard asked us to give them an entrance fee of 10000 VND, we were very confused and refused to pay it so he asked us to leave. Then a group of tourists came so we followed them to another gate where a few guards sitting there at the gate. When we approached the gate they stopped us and pointed to the collection box in the corner and told us in Chinese "Liang Wan Dun" which means 20000 VND. We were shocked by their behaviour and try to negotiate but we were asked to leave immediately. At the same time, I noticed the local tour guide from the group in front of us, he put a roll of 10000 VNDs into the collection box. I think it's fair if you consider this place as a tourist attraction and put a TICKET BOOTH at the entrance with entrance fees being marked CLEARLY on the window. But what's all this about? I just read the comment from the Japanese reviewer below as he has came across the same situation. That's the reason why I left this comment, I know not many people would have known this if the kind of experience is obscured like this.

There were some aspects of this site that I really liked, but there's not a whole lot to see if you're coming just to visit. The massive Buddha was quite impressive though. Some of the site appears to be under renovations and/or construction, as there's a lot of wood and debris thrown around. There's also large graveyard that sits just behind the big Buddha, with some very beautiful and colorful graves, as you'd typically see in Vietnamese graveyards. This temple is quite a ways out from the beach area of Nha Trang though, and a bit in the middle of nowhere, so if you're coming just to visit this temple you might want to try to plan other things in the area.

You can drive by car up to the large Buddha. Not much to see other than a temple building and a graveyard.

Nice market to visit, not very big. Some fabrics, clothing, shoes, fruits and vegetables even make up supplies. The meat and fish section smelled bad when visited. Some streets around the market sell more food products. Not far there is a vegetarian restaurant named Chan Nguyen with good and tasty dishes

Love this market. They have lot of clothes, shoes, backpacks, hats if you are looking to buy those. Shoes size is limited is sizing as they don’t have American shoes standard size. They have a few good food places around here too. Fruit and flowers are always fresh and look beautiful.

Actually spent our time outside on the street market. It was about 4pm and the place was buzzing. Picked up done great vegetables and fruit. Also a good place for cheap seafood, but we don't have a kitchen sadly. They do have some great egg stalls and you can get some delicious 100 day old eggs (at least that is what they are called in Thailand).

It is a traditional market where visitors can experience the lives of Vietnamese locals. The different kinds of fish and the meat on the table that is not stored in the refrigerator will surprise you. Fruits and vegetables are cheap. Cabbage. lettuce.Vegetables such as cucumbers are fresh and delicious. Vegetables and fruits are weighed on a scale to let you know the price.

A beutiful island. With a lovely small sandy beach and another pebble beach.. Loads of places to sit away from the heat of the sun. With opportunities to buy fresh fruit and coffees and drinks... Sport facilities there as well paragliding. Speed boats. And the famous banana... 70000 dong for the boat ride. About £2.50.per person per trip... So all I all a good day out .

All the motorized sports are way too close to the beach, accidents can happen easily and the water while is cleared but reeks of gasoline smell and noises from the jetskies. They also charge 10K vnd for a bucket of fresh water to rinse off the salt water if you decide to swim at the beach. I don't mind paying for fresh water, but at least have a running shower or something. Paying and towing your own bucket of water into the changing room feels so 1950s... Overall, nice beach, but all the negativities really doesn't make me wanna come back here again...

Our visit to Bai Tranh Beach at the end of the year was a delightful surprise. Despite the slightly dim and rainy weather, the beach retained its allure, presenting a spectacular view of the island's shoreline. The atmosphere, though a bit dark, added a unique charm to the beach, creating an intimate and serene setting. For those contemplating diving, the dim lighting underwater might limit visibility, but it introduces an intriguing and cool aspect to the experience. While the underwater world may not be as vivid, the mystique of diving in such conditions provides a different, captivating perspective. In essence, Bai Tranh Beach proved to be a resilient beauty even in less-than-ideal weather, offering a unique and memorable experience, especially for those seeking a distinctive diving adventure.

Good white sand beach with plenty of available seating area, bar and restaurant. The swimming area however is limited due to water activity around so it might disappoint serious swimmers. Staff on the island is very sweet and friendly, making sure all guests are having a great experience on this nice island.

Go with 3 islands tour, water is clean

I was the only western woman there, felt safe. Very small restricted area for swimming. Floating garbage, smoking everywhere, gasoline smell from the boats, not enough seating. Lower your expectations; so cramped, and the boats never stop coming. I was there for 2 hours, nothing to see. Sand and rock beach access. Would be a beautiful little beach, but it’s very exploited for tourism.

We visited April 2nd Square on Vietnam’s Independence Day, September 2, 2025, and it was absolutely unforgettable. The square was packed with people, the atmosphere was electric, and the concert was incredible. The music was so loud and powerful it felt like it was playing inside me. There were beautiful traditional Vietnamese dances and songs that made the experience even more special. The highlight was the firework show at the end — it lasted about 10–15 minutes, and honestly, it was the longest fireworks display I’ve ever seen in my life. The crowd was huge, but everyone was cheerful and friendly. Despite so many people, there were no conflicts, just joy and celebration. I’m so glad we came on this day. Vietnam is a beautiful country, and the Vietnamese people are truly wonderful. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

To really feel, understand and mingle among the locals. One must visit this exact square preferably during the Tet holiday. Children, families, happiness and warmth resonates throughout. Truly an awesome sensory experience…here of some clips of our Tet 2024 experience.

Managed to visit the food fair on its last day - 1st May. Here is the place where I got to try the cooling Ice Apple drink, nice to try, helps in refreshing as the weather is super duper hot. A nice place to chill during the night even if there's no food fair or other events.

At night, you can buy ice cream, bubbles, kids can rent electric toy cars, and kites. It’s really family friendly. Right across from the night market. There are fire shows along the beach on some nights. Any evening that it is not rainy, it is lively. I would recommend checking this out especially if you have children.

To be honest, this feels more like a personal reflection than a straightforward review. So, April 2nd Square is a lovely spot. However, there’s a building or icon nearby called the Lotus Building. I’m not sure what it is, but I’m not a fan because it seems like it might have been an oversight or a marketing misstep by companies involved in Nha Trang. I’m not going to go into too much detail here, but just so you know, I wouldn’t describe it as something I’d recommend visiting in Nha Trang.

Large open square, gets hot during the day as there is no shade, not much to see during the day, at night it looks better and it’s cooler. Take your swim clothes and go for a swim after walking around town and the square as the beach is right next to it.

2-4 Square is one of the most central and vibrant public spaces in Nha Trang, located right along Trần Phú Street and facing the beach. It is well known as the home of the iconic Tram Huong Tower, which has become a symbol of the city. The square itself is spacious and open, making it a perfect gathering place for locals and tourists alike. Throughout the day, you can see people walking, exercising, or simply enjoying the sea breeze. What I love most is the combination of the open space, the view of the ocean, and the unique architecture of Tram Huong Tower standing proudly in the center. While it could benefit from more greenery and shaded areas, 2-4 Square remains a must-visit landmark that captures the energy and charm of Nha Trang.

I went there as part of a tour. I had a great time snorkeling. There were plenty of fish to see. The only downside is there was a lot of people too but it was still a great experience

The coral reefs were beautiful! The beach however was very rocky. Make sure you have water shoes with you!

Amazing opportunity to see beautiful underwater life. We used True Friends Easy Riders to schedule an amazing snorkel tour to see all sorts of beautiful scenery and creatures. Be aware, you will feel a bit like a cattle heard, but it's worth it.

Lots of corals, lots of small fishes. But the area need more serious protection. Fishing boats still lurking around, marine park guards not doing their job properly.

Nha Trang Station is a small but functional train station. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done. The staff are helpful, and the location is convenient, right in the city center, close to restaurants and hotels. Trains usually run on time, and the waiting area is clean, though a bit basic. Good enough if you're catching a train, but don’t expect anything special.

We arrived quite early from Da Nang. The station itself is nothing spectacular. Like all other train stations in Vietnam, it needs some updating. Not too many hagglers at the entrance which is refreshing. The station is located quite centrally in the city. Took us only 15min to get to our hotel.

Ask for the VIP lounge... it's very cozy... for 20,000 vnd: possibility to work with Wi-Fi connection or relax on sofas. Air conditioning. 1 bottle of water offered. Wide selection of drinks and snacks available for a fee. Great and very clean. Friendly and smiling staff. Allows you to wait for your train in comfort. BRAVO.

Kinda hot inside and speakers aren’t that loud. Be sure to actually pay attention or else you could miss your train! Staff are nice though

This is a train station. I like how this is located in the center of the city and you can get here easily and quickly. You can ship your scooter to different city from here as well by train. Scooter shopping fee from here to Quy Nhon (Dieu Trí) is 270K or depends on the model of your scooter. Surprisingly, free WiFi is available at the station.

Acceptable. The station is located in the center of Nha Trang city so it is convenient. Nice station, but no shops inside to buy snacks and things. There are many areas need to be improved. train station

Sailing on the Catamaran in Nha Trang was an unforgettable experience! The sleek, modern boat felt both luxurious and comfortable, with plenty of shaded seating and open deck space to relax. The crew was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everyone had drinks and snacks while sharing fun facts about the coastline. The ride was smooth and peaceful, perfect for soaking in the turquoise water and dramatic island views. Snorkeling stops revealed colorful coral and tropical fish. Our boat stops at one of the floating restaurants in the fishing village. The seafood is so fresh!!! Whether you’re with friends or family, this trip is a must-do in Nha Trang for a unique blend of adventure and comfort.

We are 15 persons charter catamaran VN on 5Mar2023 for 3 hours sailing as company special event yacht party in white. It’s was amazing trip and more than our expectation. Definitely will come again with catamaran VN and would suggest go for more hour in our next trip, if 5 hours above would have more fun because so many activities provided, snorkelling, paddling, fishing most important enjoy our food so much with nice scenery view and well design new catamaran- easy life. Sunset view was amazing. The crew very helpful and very experience and explain to us the places along the journey. We really enjoyed the view while passing the fishing village and the best weather in March. Worth to come and highly recommend because the price also very reasonable. Great trip, thank you for perfect day. We’ve enjoyed welcome drink with champagne, had beautiful snorkeling, sup board & inflatable ring - it is kind of banana boat. Also really interesting & tasty was visit to floating village with many interesting local fishes. Finally staff is great, cared about our security in the sea, put ideally balanced music. Unbeliveable which what they have done on this island, everything become more value and beutiful. I like to spend time together with my family and this is a very good place for it. Just 1 thing will stop us ;). 1 day in here took 1 month salary ;). Well, work more, talk less.

Best place for Americans to hang out. Very clean and friendly. Tons of expats are now living there. Very inexpensive place. We are planning another trip to just stay in this place.

Nha Trang Beach just needs an little improvements !

We had a very exclusive experience being the only divers on the boat that day. We had a guide each and stuck together as a four. The guides pointed out various creatures and the coral was in good condition. The 1hr boat ride to site was lovely and we had plenty of tea/coffee fruit and an banh mi sandwich for lunch! Boat was spacious with a toilet on board. Highly recommend, very professional team.

Wonderful time with Rainbow Divers completing my OWC. My instructor Joe was excellent and took great care of our diving team. Rainbow Divers were always professional and safety oriented to give us the best diving experience. Our boat dives were super fun and instructional and included lunch and travel to and from the dive shop. Highly recommend getting certified from Rainbow Divers if you are in Nha Trang and if you have completed a course with them, they will provide well-priced options to continue your dive education. I, along with my niece completed our Advanced Open Water Course with Rainbow Divers in Nha Trang. Right from the time I reached out to Jeremy it was a great experience. Joe was a patient and generous instructor and I would recommend having him teach you. Dev, Brem and Sascha were great and supported us wonderfully. I wish the reef in Nha Trang was better though. If you do choose to dive in Nha Trang, look no further!

I did 3 days in a row of scuba diving with rainbow divers, staff are helpful, there were plenty of food and drink on offer after each dive. I enjoy the fun dives. When I come back nha Trang in the future definitely give your business a call🤙

Later, at a Belgian ice cream shop, the owner recommended me to go to the Rainbow Diving Club. He said: The teaching there is very good. On the way to Rainbow Diving Club, I passed by several travel agencies. The quotes from these agencies were generally between $40-50 for one or two dive sites. Rainbow Club was $95. We knew other places might be half the price, but seeing this shop mentioned on Google Maps and the owner of the Belgian ice cream shop also saying it was good, we ultimately chose the more expensive one. Actually, $95 for two dive sites is very reasonable whether in Phuket, Thailand, or Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. It just seemed a bit pricey in Vietnam. After the diving, it turned out that the price of this store was worth the information and service. Instructor Joe was particularly professional, patient, and thorough in explaining every detail. He helped us get into our new diving gear and guided us safely underwater for 40-50 minutes. This British instructor deserves special praise; if you're diving in Nha Trang, you absolutely must ask him for instruction.
