The attraction itself is free to enter; it’s just the parking costs 3000won. Payment is via cash or bank transfer if the parking attendant was there. We arrived on a Chuseok holiday at around 9am and the parking was still plenty. We spent around an hour there enjoying the beautiful weather and windy breeze; it’s perfect! The crowd started to grow big when we left. Encourage to come as early as you can to avoid the crowd. The hiking to the windy mill itself is not bad at all. Easy one I would say. Few benches available to rest or just enjoying the gorgeous weather. There are few shops and stalls before you hike up selling snacks and drinks. When we were there, there’s only one that opened but we didnt get anything. Overall the trip was excellent. Recommended to come and visit while you were in the island.

It’s boring, cheap looking, crowded and limited. This was one of the stops on our tour. The windmill is a prop that looks cheap and you can only walk in a limited area. The nature around it is nice but it’s definitely not worth going g to see this boring windmill.

The view is lovely but so are all the coastal views in Geoje, so I’m not sure it worth the traffic jams and heat (during summer) to climb up there for a pic of a windmill. We just buy tickets at the entrance when we arrived. There's plenty of parking spaces at the front and there's no people there when we went in a weekend morning. The place is huge with loads of information to learn and explore about Korean war, their difficulties that we faced last time etc. For non-speaking Korean, it's a bit pain as you need to use the translate in order for you to read and understand and enjoy the whole thing as no information provided in English. We went there twice in a gap of maybe about 6-8months because the first time we went the cable car ride was closed. So the second time we went just to enjoy the cable car ride up and the view was amazing! Recommended to come at least once especially you're interested to know more about Korean war and history.

A taxi here from Gohyeon bus terminal should cost you less than 6000 won. You can buy tickets at the main entrance - credit card or cash is fine. There is a food court on site - the building it is housed in also serves as the terminus for the monorail ride up to Gyeongsan. The monorail costs 18,000 won per pax and takes 30 minutes to go up/down respectively. Well worth riding - wear a jacket and use the restroom as the mountain summit is very cold.

This place was more interesting than I though. If you're on this island give this place a try. Learn about Korean War, the prisoners and the hardships of war. Try the zipline and let children explore history in an easy way. If you have time (I didn't) take the monorail to the top of the mountain for an amazing view.

Good place for family, especially local Korean. Good to know the history of North-South Korea war times, but some of the information is in Korean only. Even videos does not have any subtitles. The zipline was awesome too as not many museum kind of place have this kind of entertainment.

Maybe a little repetitive but nicely set out with English sub titles most of the way. Some interactive displays and some stuff especially for the kids. I visited on a sub freezing day in way off peak season and feel that the 7000 Won was well spent... There is also a zip line type ride and mini roller coaster at additional cost...

The most beautiful place in Geoje. This is really good view. Windy hill is also near here. Many people visit here therefore in weekend and holiday especially summer time, traffic is terrible and very small parking lot. When you visit here, please enjoy the stone beach beside as well. Water is very clean and the wave sounds beautiful.

Had a walk from Deokpo Beach to here which is about 1.5km-2km. The walk was pleasant with some hikes here and there and most importantly the view was amazing. The whole return journey took about an hour and it was great. Arrived at the top up to the monument and will be coming back to explore the temple, swing and the museum soon! There are some exercising tools available at the top and the trail wasn’t that busy maybe due to the cold windy weather. But can still see some friendly ahjussis and ahjummas walking by themselves!

Okpo Great Victory Commemorative Park was built in 1996 to commemorate Admiral Yi Sun-sin's first victory of the Okpo Battle during the Imjin War (1592-1598). There is also a small walking trail up to the memorial tower and Okporu Pavilion. The view is good. This park has a shrine dedicated to admiral Yi. There is also a mountain trail connected to the Okpo beach from behind the shrine.

Very calm and beautiful place if you like plant/bamboo. The bamboo alley is really nice you can relax and breath in clean air. The entrance fee is very cheap and there are spots in the park where you can take photos(fake panda, tiger, etc.)

The views here were pretty good, though the price to set foot on the island was a bit high for what the place offers. There are certainly better views in the park, but at least here you can admire the scenery and take pictures without rocking back and forth on a boat

Nice place and an ideal day trip when visiting Tongyeong. We got the boat from the mainland which took about 40 minutes to arrive at Jangsa-do and then it takes about 2 hours to walk around the island. The boat trip alone is worth it because it’s nice to sail into the archipelago. No toilets or cafe on board though. Sights on the island: - Lighthhouse - Viewpoints and some have signs with info on locations of Yi Sun Shins famous battles. - Outdoor concert area - Bonsai tree park - Greenhouse - Many viewpoints over the sea - Cafes - Bridges - small art installations Be aware that you will have to do some walking up a relatively steep hill to begin with when you arrive at the island. Wear comfy shoes! I visited in the winter and it was still fun even though less of the sights were available to see. The tickets were equivalent to about €25 per person for the boat.

Visiting captive animals is always a mixed bag of the exhilaration of being close to nature's creatures, while knowing it comes at the expense of their captivity. That said this place is certified to meet care standards set by an aquatic mammal group in Europe and the animals do appear well cared for, although their tanks are not very big. It was pretty awesome to have a dolphin give me ride and seeing them in action again demonstrates their intelligence. Hopefully these animals' sacrifice increases people's appreciation for the oceans and our need to responsibly manage them.

It was fun interacting with the dolphins. The dolphin show was fun to watch as well.
