Such a great experience to see the beautiful sunset here. Visited 3 times and all was worth coming for. I love the place and specially with the person I am with ❤️
First of all: Have on walking shoes, there’s many steps to climb and descend to get around the island. There are paid escalators for people with bad knees, handicapped or otherwise not interested in climbing steps. There are many and I mean many restaurants and shops. The main attractions are the abundance of Temples to pray at. Whatever you need to pray for, there’s probably a Temple for you. The tower is ¥500 for adults, it gives a nice view. On a clear day Mt. Fuji can be seen. Make sure to travel here in a good weather day. If it rains or too sunny, the experience will be uncomfortable. There’s not too many places to be protected from the weather except the parking garage. Overall: This is the perfect place for a good walk and praying at Temples. A lot to see and eat. If you love to eat octopus, this is your spot.
I go to this island because I am fan of bocchi the rock. There's the walking street leading to the shrine with various food stand. Tako senbei is too popular, so I just skipped because too many people were lining up for the tako senbei. Other than that, the street food experience is similar to komachi dori. Recommend to use the es-car(escalator) to get up to the top of island and reach enoshima sea candle because the walk way up is far, and the es-car is not expensive. I think you can see mount fuji, if it wasn't cloudy. Probably a must visit place for bocchi the rock/bunny girl senpai fans, or someone who want to see mount fuji from enoshima sea candle. The shrine itself is not remarkable. Other than that, I think this place is not really a must-visit. The last image was taken from the top of island, but not from enoshima sea candle.
Had an absolutely fantastic time on Enoshima Island. Arrived there with the Enoden retro style railway and enjoyed the anime like nature and villages on the way. I was there during the week in the morning, to avoid the large crowds and it worked well. From the train station I walked to the Island - when entering it through the bridge enjoyed the view on the remote Mt. Fuji. The surrounding has a calm slow aura - perfect to come down from Tokyo city vibe. Since it is a popular tourist destination, there are many souvenir shops, restaurants and places to visit for a day trip. Here is a short list: Enoshima Shrine, the tower Sea Candle with adjacent garden, Iwaya Cave, the Love Bell and the scenic and old style restaurant scattered around the island. Beware of the birds of prey - the guardians of the island. They are the living landmark of this place. I enjoyed a slow walk through the whole island during the day with many stops and visits. When the sun was setting I went back and had to fight my way to the train through countless hordes of people arriving to see the romantic sun set. Note that you will be definitely not alone to say the least of you target the evening. Plan time to arrive early to get to the higher areas and secure a spot. The crowds during good weather are no joke in the evening.
A small but very attractive Island, connected to the main land with a small bridge. This is a hilly land, you will find lots of stairs to go up and down, left and right, everywhere. There are couples of paid escalators but the access is available for limited places. Many food shops, cafes and souvenir stores are there. Lots of seating options. Lots of toilets. Don’t miss the Eiwa Caves, The Sea candle (Observation Deck), Samuel Cocking Botanical Garden, etc. One ticket for Sea candle and Botanical Garden, one ticket for the caves are required.
A beautiful island nearby Kamakura. The vibe is really nice and different from bustling city of Tokyo making this an excellent choice for a day trip. There are great food options on the island too!
It would be lovely to see the sunset and enjoy good vibes during a visit. The area offers good food and cafes.
Enoshima Island is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. We came here as part of an Enoshima/Kamakura tour, so we only had about 1.5 hours to explore, which really wasn’t enough time. Even with the short visit, I enjoyed walking through the main street, seeing the shrines, and taking in the coastal views. The atmosphere is relaxing and the island has a nice balance of nature, culture, and small shops. I wasn’t able to visit the caves or fully explore the trails, so I definitely want to come back on my own and spend more time here. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down and just enjoy the surroundings. A very memorable stop, even if brief.

One of the strategic places for family and kids, where you can spend a whole day excursion: explore and learn about sea creatures, followed by playing at the beach. Mount Fuji can be seen if the weather is nice. Sunset time on a clear day can be a relaxing yet mesmerizing moment to end the trip.
It was awesome! There's lots to do and see, the jellyfish display was probably my favorite...but there were 2 capybara. seaturtles and a place you could touch fish if that's your kind of thing. I loved the little teddy lottery they had, I think it was whales, dolphins or otter plushies you could win. Overall, it was amazing but very very busy. Perhaps because we went during summer of what I now know is a tourist town, but it was very busy.
Our daughter loves aquariums so we’ve been to a few, in the US, Mexico, Vietnam, but this one in Enoshima was by far the prettiest. I don’t know how to describe it but each tank was spotless, all the fish and animals were well taken care of and happy, and the place was just sparkling clean, didn’t even smell like sea water, even though it sits right on the beach! Affordable parking, easy access, and just a wonderful, active day for the family. Easily spent 3hrs, could have spent an hour or longer! Plan accordingly.
Super cool aquarium! Plenty of stuff to see. Only down side is that there wasn't a lot of English translations of signs. It would have been great to be able to actually read about some of the animals. They at least had the animal names in English.
This is a very nice aquarium with a wide variety of fish and other animals to view. It's a good event to experience with a group.
A really large and beautiful aquarium with a large variety of things to look at and interact with. The surrounding area is so beautiful. It's one of the most beautiful aquariums that I have been to.
Nice aquarium! Just a bit messy to navigate through. You can buy tickets on spot as well, has a stamp near the ticket station AND! Thrashcans infront of toilets 🤣 I really liked the jellyfish exhibit
Such an amazing experience with diverse fauna and the science behind protecting our environment and how the animals are cared for. The bonus was seeing the dolphin show!

We visited this Shrine and really liked it. The shrine has a nice atmosphere and beautiful views. It’s a peaceful place to explore while walking around Enoshima Island. I enjoyed the visit a lot!
It is a typical shrine as others. If you have spare time to kamakura, can spend an hour or two. Take the escar to the top.
Enoshima Shrine – Hetsunomiya is a peaceful and beautiful spot on Enoshima Island. The walk up through the vibrant shops and red gates is really fun and colorful. The shrine itself is calm with lovely traditional architecture and a nice spiritual vibe. It’s a great place to take a break and enjoy some quiet time after exploring the busy island. Easy to reach from the station, and definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
It’s a beautiful shrine with a long history and lots of interesting activities if you’re familiar with the culture. They also hold many small daily events. I bought a cute dragon omamori and noticed this shrine, like others on Enoshima island, has a sigil reminiscent of the Deathly Hallows!
Beautiful area with a lot of interesting stuff. The shrine is the first you encounter as you access the island through the bridge. From here you can climb up following the stairs or just pay a fee for the escalator. We took the stairs and it was a great experience. Overall we spent around 3 hours on the island and we got as far as we could at the entrance of the cave but we decided not to visit it as it did not seem worth it. We even met a small raccoon which was a welcomed surprise!
This place is a nice temple, but the tourists are too noisy here. My trip started off with a lady cutting in front of me for the Esca tickets. I told her I was waiting and she just ignored me and walked forward to buy tickets. Not sure what the worker is there for. Then I made it up only to hear constant yelling from other tourists. It's just people trying to take photos everywhere. I tried to get some peace/quiet and went to the corner of the garden where there's a view. Ahh, nice. Then some guy with a camera thought I found something and came over and called his family over. I was done. It's more peaceful at a packed Starbucks. I wonder how bad it is at the top of the tower. If you want to come here, come either super early or really late.
Hetsunomiya (辺津宮) — the first stop on the path up Enoshima. This shrine marks the entrance before climbing toward the Sea Candle. In summer, the sun can be strong, and walking all the way up without using the escalator is quite a challenge! You can take the escalator (paid) on the left after passing the Torii , or walk up the traditional way. The path is long and steep, so be prepared — if you’re not used to walking uphill, you might feel it in your legs by the end. (…or maybe I’m just getting old 😅)
Definitely recommend visiting. Don’t take the escalators up if not in a hurry as the climb isn’t too long and it even has a few viewpoints that you might miss. Pay the 800Yen for the evening ticket if you think you might end up leaving at 5:01pm as otherwise you end up paying a thousand. Definitely go up to the non-glasses deck and try to witness the sunset even if not from the observation deck. The accompanying garden was majestic even in January.

Nice views overlooking the city and Mt. Fuji on a clear day. Grounds leading to the top were well-tended. P.s. The walk up isn't too bad, but if you aren't feeling it then just pay for the elevator. Do note that the elevator is only one-way so you'll still have to go down by the stairs.
Beautiful view of the ocean and Mt. Fuji on clear days. The area is well maintained with a nice atmosphere. No long wait to enter, you go up by elevator and can walk down the stairs if you like. Definitely worth a visit.
Rather cloudy when we went but nice views of nearby buildings and beautiful sunset. Saw a tiny glimpse of Mount Fuji haha. There is a floor that has glass windows and the floor above which has an outdoor area with some seating.
I was there on a week day, please consider this when planning the visit. I assume there is significantly more demand during weekends. This tower is an absolute highlight of my Enoshima visit. I like high places, but this tower is more special. The elevator offers a good view already when bringing you up. At the top an excellent view and sitting possibilities await. One can also see the birds of prey flying around the island and follow them visually. The walk down was also a joy, but note that it is actually closed, so one needs to use the elevator to come down. In my case the door was open and since I can't read Japanese I went down the stairs only to discover a locked door at the bottom.
The Enoshima Sea Candle is a must-visit if you’re in the area — especially at night. The illuminated tower becomes the centerpiece of a stunning light show that feels both peaceful and surreal. The view from the top offers a sweeping 360-degree panorama of the coastline, and on clear days you can even spot Mt. Fuji in the distance. Do note that access to the Sea Candle itself requires a separate ticket from the main Enoshima area. It’s well worth it, though, especially if you’re timing your visit for the evening light display. The wind at the top can be quite strong, so bring a jacket or dress warmly — especially in colder months. If you have extra time, make sure to stop by the Enoshima Aquarium below the island. It’s a surprisingly well-curated experience with engaging exhibits, including deep-sea creatures and jellyfish displays. Pairing the aquarium with a walk up to the Sea Candle makes for a great half-day adventure. Overall, the Sea Candle is one of those experiences that combines nature, design, and atmosphere in a way that leaves a lasting impression.
Well worth the visit , unfortunately we missed the candle show a few days back but the views were still awesome. Would recommend sunset/night
Great day trip outside of Tokyo. Worth visiting the 'Sea Candle' and everything else it has to offer such as little cafe's, shops, underground cave networks, floral gardens, etc. Came here in early October, weather was great!
Good place to see the whole view of Enoshima. I went there near sunset, and it is still good even with many clouds. Definitely better when it's sunny. You can even walk down the lighthouse using the stairs. A great challenge especially at night.👍🏻 You can have the 1 Day Enoshima Pass ticket (which includes the Sea Candle) at the Escar ticket booth. A great deal for just around 1100 Yen. Also includes the Escar service and the caves.

Mystical, moody, and full of ocean whispers 🌊🕯️ Enoshima Iwaya Caves feel like stepping into an ancient legend. Carved by the sea and shaped by time, these caves are dimly lit, echoey, and dripping with mystery. You walk with a candle in hand, following narrow paths while waves crash just beyond the rocks — it’s eerie, exciting, and surprisingly peaceful. There’s a quiet spiritual vibe here, with statues tucked into the stone and the scent of sea spray in the air. Not just a cave – an experience. 🕯️ Candle-lit cave walk = main character moment 🌊 Epic ocean views right outside ✨ Great stop after exploring Enoshima Shrine or the Sea Candle
Really cool! Interesting history and folklore; you are surrounded by natural beauty! Our 8 y.o. son enjoyed the experience and discovering the dragon’s lair! Crowds weren’t too bad for a Saturday in June. But be prepared for a lot of walking/hiking up and down steps. Give yourself the whole day to fully explore and see the sights. Lots of little snack shops and restaurants to try out for quick bites. We were too tired to hike to go see the lovers’ bell. Take your time and take breaks. We bought the tickets for the escalators going up-sooo worth it!
Interesting cave accessed by a coastal walkway with lovely views of the sea. Inside the cave the concrete path provides safe access, but somewhat detracts from the experience of being in a cave. But there's a lovely small shrine at the end with a great roaring demon (clap your hands loudly to make it roar - see my video attached to this review). You have to crouch sometimes, so tall people beware!
Enoshima Island is such a fun place to explore on foot. The walk around the island is full of small shops and food stalls, each offering something different to try — it’s easy to spend hours just wandering and snacking. The Enoshima Iwaya Caves were also a nice surprise and worth the visit. The mix of ocean views, local food, and relaxed seaside atmosphere makes it one of those spots that perfectly captures the charm of coastal Japan.
1. Sacred caves meant for prayer purposes in the old days 2. Be prepared for long flights of downward stairs from the shrine (hill top) to the cave. Going there is not tough, going back to the entrance of the island means long upwards flights of stairs which will be difficult for Elderly or those lack of stamina 3. Nice scenery and cooling tunnel of caves.
It's a relatively small cave system with a 500 yen entrance fee. It's pretty chill, very nice and has a lot of history to it. The fun part is the stairs to get there!
I wish I read reviews before going! Only recommended for people with strong connection to the local religious beliefs and those who love walking down and back up steep stairs. The caves themselves have been excavated to the point of removing most of their interest. There are cultural/religious points of interest. Most non-Japanese people I heard say things like it wasn't worth it. I recommend going to the Candle tower (for the view) then making your way down the steps to the main street. Another hot tip - the local bus will save you a walk back into the main town at only ¥290 to the main station. A photo of the "pay off"! (My fellow Australians, honestly, it is not worth it!)
You need to traverse about a dozen steep staircases to reach the cave. Some interesting sites to see, but it can get crowded. Would not recommend if you are claustrophobic. The ocean views are very nice though.

We can reach the Terrace Mall from Fujisawa JR line. Its a big shopping mall, good for shopping and foods. It has major brands and other shops with offers. Done great shopping at this place
Loft and Super market is great. But no tax refund is pity.
Got lost on the wrong JR line and ended up here :p. Nice mall though
This place is huge and has more fashion stores than I've seen in and around the shonan and kamakura area

Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden is a fantastic spot to catch a beautiful sunset with stunning views of the coastline and Mt. Fuji. To reach the observatory park, you need to purchase a ticket, and there are paid escalators available to take you up to the observation tower. The view from the top is incredible, especially during sunset when the sky is filled with vibrant colors. The garden itself is peaceful, and it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended for a relaxing visit!
I think we missed the excellent night view of the garden. And there were not much flowers also this time. It is an organized nice garden with nighttime lighting.
Well worth the ticket for the garden and the sea candle. Sea candle offers fantastic views of the coast, especially if you go to the open air deck (which will be freezing in winter, so bring a coat and some heat packs) You’ll spend most of your time at the garden itself, which features fantastic viewing points of the coast, various restaurants, cafes, food stalls, and pubs. In winter there are spectacular light shows.
We went there for the lantern Festival and it was magical! The lights were amazing and although there was a lot of people we still managed to enjoy it!
A botanical garden located on Enoshima Island in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture. Established in 1880 by British merchant Samuel Cocking, the garden features a variety of tropical plants and seasonal flowers. Highlights include the Enoshima Sea Candle, a tall lookout tower offering panoramic views, and a restored 19th-century greenhouse housing tropical plants. It's a scenic and peaceful spot for nature lovers. 🌿🌸
I was there in the evening to take advantage of the Shonan light festival (10,000 candles) in there. I believe it runs until early November. It was really cool and nice to see. I really enjoyed my evening there. Just a reminder when you're buying tickets to enter. You'll need the same ticket to exit, so remember where you put and don't throw in the garbage after entering.
A great place to visit and definitely one of multiple excellent sights to see on Enoshima Island. It’s pretty big with a couple of cafes and nice seating to relax and take in the views. The flowers are beautiful and there are many different types. I would recommend paying the ¥1000 fee to use the escalators and it will give you access to other venues so it pays for itself.
A surprisingly timid park at first if you visit in December, but it lights up and becomes a true LED wonderland at night. I highly recommend coming around 5PM when they have the countdown for the sea candle lights starting. It's a real spectacle.

A great option if you are somewhat tired after a hike across the island. The ferry is fast to get back to the main land despite a queue. You get to see nice views of Enoshima on the ferry as well. Visited in May 2023.
when you're heading to the 'shima'-part of enoshima, the small island, you will walk past the ticket gate of that very short but delightful boat cruise. FYI: if you decide to ride that boat then and there, it will take you to the caves, from where you have 2 options. (1) either take the boat back to where you started, or (2) walk up the steep stairs all the way to the mountain top. the cave side does not have the escalators! if you want to take the escalators up the mountain, do so first and then climb down the mountain towards the cave and take the boat back after that.
Poor service as ferry was not available at 230pm for our return and no advise whatsoever.
BEWARE! There are no boats that go back to the mainland from the island at this spot. Nor is there any signage that says a boat will come. I have checked! Only locals passing time waiting to catch fish on the shoreline. Had to take the long excruciating walk back up the steep steps AGAIN after going down to check. 😑 Went in mid May.
Take this boat if you are too tired to walk back. It's very near to the cave and it cost only ¥400 one way.
This isn't a ferry dock, don't come here and expect to take a boat back to the mainland. Very misleading location marker.
Pathway to the ferry is closed off with a no trespassing sign.
Walked all the way down just to find out the boat stopped 3pm.

The Shonan coast has a great sense of freedom. It's a bit less crowded than Enoshima, so it's more relaxing.
Had a great time with family and friends, including the BBQ option in the day. Lazy river was nice and younger kids enjoyed the slide.
Breathtakingly beautiful. Clean, plenty of space to sit and relax. Plenty of bathrooms. People often go there to exercise - especially from the nearby schools - so it's a good place to go jogging, etc too :)
It's nice and large park. There are swimming pool, playground, large forest, small pond, and biking road near the beach. Very suitable for children. It is not crowded either. Recommended 👏
It's so calming.. u need a whole day to enjoy this place. Since it's very huge.. there's some museum. Like flowers museum and NY light museum
Super big park with grass area, park area, a small amusement park rides area and the "Jumbo Pool." Lots of parking but many surfers use this parking, too, so it could get full early on especially during the weekends and holidays. Events with food trucks happening almost every weekend (more during the warmer seasons). Great to bring kids and/or just chill. Lots of vending machines for drinks and lots of decent public restrooms.
Awesome place to spend a day with kids. Bikes are free to ride within the course; there's a section for little kids too. The little pedal-coaster was ok, tiring for adults but the kids enjoyed it. Since it's a paid ride, at least have the attendants wipe the handles after each riders to make it safer from the pandemic...

It was a magnificent and comforting sight after all the climbing and walking. For the best experience, visit on a clear day to catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay long enough to see the sunset.
I found this gem through using Gemini and asking where we should go to watch the sunset in Enishosha - and WOW. This had to be the best experience of my entire trip and the best sunset ever. The walk there isn’t for the faint of hear but let me tell you; it is SO worth it. Absolutely unreal. It was so peaceful, serene as we watched the sunset over the water and with Mt Fuji in the background: I highly recommend anyone to go and you should get there at least an hour early to enjoy the time before it sets.
We visited Enoshima in November 2025. The abyss is on the opposite side of the bridge and it takes around 1 hour to go all the way from the bridge to the abyss. It seems there is also a boat directly from the bridge to the abyss, but when we were there the boat service was not working due to weather related reasons. The island of Enoshima is nice bad can be visited for around half a day, either before or after Kamakura. Be prepared to walk a lot and enjoy all the sightseeing in the island. If the weather is good, one can see the Fuji mountain as well.
Worth to walk more than 30 minutes to visit, perfect place to enjoy sunset with Fuji mountain
A stretch of walking down hill to reach this place. There is a good view of Mount Fuji here.
Excellent area for a sunset! We had an amazing view of the sun going down with Mount Fuji clearly visible. It was awesome sitting by the oceanside watching people fishing, taking pictures, and watching crabs dart between the rocks. The caves below were also really cool, naturally carved by the waves. Definitely worth a walk through!
A very cool spot for lovers to hang out and anglers for fishing.
My second time here. It’s great to see the endless sea in Tokyo. Sea level raised during sunset. Stunning views. You can also see Fuji from afar. Can be quite windy and cold so make sure you have enough jackets.

Tranquil, 14th-century wooden Buddhist temple and a shrine to 4 Nichiren saints.

i loved everything in this Buddhist sanctuary. its not only 14th Century Temple with all traditional items go along with it: Solemn and Mysterious Solemn Main Hall, Statues and holy items but absolutely remarkable Pagoda - hidden above in forest hills from where you can see Pacific Ocean and enjoy the moment of mind calmness and relaxation.
Beautiful old Buddhist temple not far from Enoshima station. The view from the top is absolutely stunning - one side you can see the sparkling ocean, the other side the city. On a clear day you can also get a great view of Fuji-san. There are different levels you can walk up to see the temple, pagoda, cemetery and large gold Buddha. Definitely worth a visit if you like temples and shrines.
A quiet retreat right next to the tramway and busy road, easily overlooked, very worth the time for a visit
Absolutely beautiful Nichiren temple with a pagoda and a statue of the Buddha donated from India. Buddhist monk and order founder Nichiren was to be put to death by the Kamakura shogunate when lightning saved him, and one of his disciples later build a temple on the spot in 1337. They do a fantastic bamboo lantern lightup the first weekend of August with over 5000 bamboo lanterns. It is conveniently located next to the bus stop and only a short walk from the monorail and Enoden Station.
Flea market at Ryuko-ji is small but if you have time to explore you may stumble upon interesting find such as this wooden vase and lacquerware
An amazing temple, I only stumbled upon by accident. The pagoda behind the main hall but by the hill was breathtaking. The main hall is old with character. Part of a local 7 lucky gods pilgrimage for New Years. Recommended to stroll before heading to the Enoden
This is a beautiful , lonely and peaceful place. Go there for worship and to have a few from the top of the city and seashore .
A beautiful mountainside temple with a short walk up to a pagoda. Quiet and scenic. Also, it's free to enter.

Long beach park popular for surfing, jogging & volleyball, with an aquarium & views of Mt. Fuji.

Ideal for a walk along the beach. In winter you can see a beautiful Mount Fuji.
We watched the sun set over Mt Fuji, with surfers swimming in the sea. It was truly an amazing sight, I think it might be the best sunset I've seen in a long time! There's free toilets as well (not super clean, but they do the job).
You can see a beautiful view of the Fuji mountain you can spend time here to get the best view of the Fuji This is the big lake so you can drive/cycling/Walk around it you can campaign here
My family loves visiting Enoshima and the Mon' Ocean Beach Front House was very nice to stay in after a long day at the beach. The beds were very big and comfortable, the kitchen area was very modern and cute, and my family enjoyed the surfboards. I especially loved how close the house was to the beach, just a couple minute walk away.
I felt really lucky that day because the weather was so clear I could see Mt. Fuji against a breathtaking sunset. It was a magical 20 minutes that I’ll remember for a long time. If you visit Kamakura, I recommend staying until sunset—or even booking a night nearby to really enjoy it.
Nice beach to spend the day away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Yokohama. Beautiful view on Mt Fuji. It's also nice to take a longer walk along the promenade towards Enoshima whereas the closer you get towards Enoshima area the more crowded it gets.
Beautiful beach spot, you can see the lovely Fuji San 🗻
Lovely beach. Very very hot sand though, bring appropriate shoes. I'm an adult and the sand was almost unbearable to walk on for me! Gets better closer to the water obviously. No umbrellas so bring your own shade. In the parking deck there are bathrooms and a nice are to wash off at. Tons of good restaurants close also.

So cool and cute. My wife and I came to put a live lock on after getting married on our trip to Japan.
The Dragon Love Bell (龍恋の鐘, Ryūren no Kane) is a popular romantic spot located on Enoshima Island in Japan. It's known for its beautiful ocean views and the tradition of couples ringing the bell together to bless their love. Many visitors leave love locks and plaques around the bell as a symbol of their eternal commitment. It's a cherished landmark for both tourists and locals seeking to strengthen their romantic bonds. 💕🔔
Not sure why its rated so low. It's a cute folklore and you can ring the bell
A bell visitors can ring it for happiness of love. No admission fee is required.
No tickets needed. It is a bit smaller than I expected but worth it if you don't care about walking long distances
It was a beautiful setting in the forest, with wonderful views of the coastline. A lot of locks left by lovers, over the years. A nice little excursion after a great day so sightseeing on Enoshima Island.
Unique & sweet couples' activity on visit to Enoshima. Ring the bell together and make a wish. Preserve a lasting memory on a lock or on ema which you can later re-visit. The hike up can be crowded but is lined with fun shops, vendors/food, restaurants, and nature. At the top there is a great view the surrounding areas and Mt Fuji.
Nice place overlooking the ocean. There's a selfie stand to take video and pics of yourself in front of the bell with your camera. You can also walk around the area behind the bell. There are tables to sit at and enjoy nature.

I really enjoy this place! Several boutique shops nestled inside a book store suits me perfectly. I have yet to try any of the restaurants, but they all generally look appetizing. The Starbucks is always spot on.
It’s nice bookstore! The books are categorized by the contents like art, business, history and so on. Looks nice! You can pick one book and you can read it on sofas there!!! Great!!! Just like a library!! And you can enjoy coffee with the books!! There are Starbucks by this store!! It’s a little bit packed... this place looks people who have a strong ambitions to rise gathering!! They all kind!! You can relax here!! Enjoy!!
You can park two hours for free, so driving to the location and visited the book store after enjoyed southern beach activity. Insider of the store is convenient and warm. Lots of book with cafe you can soup stand. There is also a Starbucks you can rest while reading some great books. There is a work lounge on the second floor so you are able to working from there even jumping on a call in the private room in the lounge. This not free, I remembered the price to be around 700/h and 4000 for a day pass.
Closes too early. Simply put, I come home from the city, and everything closes here, as if they still endure the pandemic.
I love this place. You can sit and read all books in the store as much as you want if you buy a cup of coffee. The space is big and they have huge selection of books and magazines. I can stay there whole day. So relaxing space.
A bit of a high-end mall, quite small and stylishly designed but not much variety to be honest. They have festivals in the car park occasionally, including a really great beer festival. Not easy to get to without a car.
Cool cozy place to chill. Unfortunately has only a small portion of English books but if you have your own book already, come for the atmosphere. Has a Starbucks and family mart inside the store.
It's really great, designed to cater an specific crowd. It goes well together with the fujisawa SST project. There is a bus that goes to the Fujisawa JR station. Trendy fashion family friendly and well thought experience.

Slide 1 of 8
Beautiful temple 20 minutes walk from Fujisawa station. The area is quite large and it was a pleasant walk. I received a very nice goshuin.
(Recorded on 2025/03/29) A location famous for the "Yugyōji Slope" of the Hakone Ekiden. The temple grounds are spacious, featuring a variety of plants such as rows of double cherry blossoms, wisteria trellises, and a massive ginkgo tree. It seems like a place where you can enjoy the colors of the seasons.
It is one of the most historically important temples in Japan, you can occupy the whole site due to its remote location from the Kamakura center. Recommend to visit 'Nomi-no-ichi' (flea market) held in front yard.
Amazing to see the fate locations irl, thoroughly enjoyed it as we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves
Easy walk from Fujisawa station and quiet away from Kamakura
I think it is the center of Fujisawa in the Edo period. There is a museum at the entrance where you can learn about Fujisawa at the time.
Ancient ginko is so majestic in fall
A very peaceful place to pray.
