It was awesome! There's lots to do and see, the jellyfish display was probably my favorite...but there were 2 capybara. seaturtles and a place you could touch fish if that's your kind of thing. I loved the little teddy lottery they had, I think it was whales, dolphins or otter plushies you could win. Overall, it was amazing but very very busy. Perhaps because we went during summer of what I now know is a tourist town, but it was very busy.

Our daughter loves aquariums so we’ve been to a few, in the US, Mexico, Vietnam, but this one in Enoshima was by far the prettiest. I don’t know how to describe it but each tank was spotless, all the fish and animals were well taken care of and happy, and the place was just sparkling clean, didn’t even smell like sea water, even though it sits right on the beach! Affordable parking, easy access, and just a wonderful, active day for the family. Easily spent 3hrs, could have spent an hour or longer! Plan accordingly.

Super cool aquarium! Plenty of stuff to see. Only down side is that there wasn't a lot of English translations of signs. It would have been great to be able to actually read about some of the animals. They at least had the animal names in English.

Beautiful view of the ocean and Mt. Fuji on clear days. The area is well maintained with a nice atmosphere. No long wait to enter, you go up by elevator and can walk down the stairs if you like. Definitely worth a visit.

Rather cloudy when we went but nice views of nearby buildings and beautiful sunset. Saw a tiny glimpse of Mount Fuji haha. There is a floor that has glass windows and the floor above which has an outdoor area with some seating.

I was there on a week day, please consider this when planning the visit. I assume there is significantly more demand during weekends. This tower is an absolute highlight of my Enoshima visit. I like high places, but this tower is more special. The elevator offers a good view already when bringing you up. At the top an excellent view and sitting possibilities await. One can also see the birds of prey flying around the island and follow them visually. The walk down was also a joy, but note that it is actually closed, so one needs to use the elevator to come down. In my case the door was open and since I can't read Japanese I went down the stairs only to discover a locked door at the bottom.

Great day trip outside of Tokyo. Worth visiting the 'Sea Candle' and everything else it has to offer such as little cafe's, shops, underground cave networks, floral gardens, etc. Came here in early October, weather was great!

Super big park with grass area, park area, a small amusement park rides area and the "Jumbo Pool." Lots of parking but many surfers use this parking, too, so it could get full early on especially during the weekends and holidays. Events with food trucks happening almost every weekend (more during the warmer seasons). Great to bring kids and/or just chill. Lots of vending machines for drinks and lots of decent public restrooms.

Awesome place to spend a day with kids. Bikes are free to ride within the course; there's a section for little kids too. The little pedal-coaster was ok, tiring for adults but the kids enjoyed it. Since it's a paid ride, at least have the attendants wipe the handles after each riders to make it safer from the pandemic...

A great place to visit and definitely one of multiple excellent sights to see on Enoshima Island. It’s pretty big with a couple of cafes and nice seating to relax and take in the views. The flowers are beautiful and there are many different types. I would recommend paying the ¥1000 fee to use the escalators and it will give you access to other venues so it pays for itself.

I traveled to Kamakura and used Fujisawa station as a connecting one, transferred from Tokkaido line to Enoshima line. Easy to navigate and travel. Not very busy nor crowded.

Good transfer station for many lines in the Shōnan area, but that's about it. I had to use the information staff for help (for myself or others) more than a couple of times and they are just so rude and incompetent that it hurts. The older guy in his 50s or 60s especially has a mocking attitude and salty face towards children and senior citizens alike. The girl beside him smiles a lot but has the same bad attitude. I want him to quit already! It feels he's been there forever and forgot that his job is to help passengers. So ok, you don't want to help me, but what about lost items that are found at the station? Is it the unknown person's fault he/she dropped an umbrella, or a credit card? One time i found a credit card on the platform and tried giving it over at the information booth, and he said "we do not keep gifts for your friends"... What?!?! And proceed to close the window in my face? 🤡 So I hope that he loses his credit card on the platform and someone kicks it onto the train tracks! 🤮

This is a big station with many train lines stops. There's also a spot where you can see mount fuji on a clear day. I happen to spot Fuji san on the day I visited to take Enoden train early in the morning.

I was at Fujisawa Station to change trains and had to wait for an hour. I took the opportunity to look around and found many shops and food options. The station is quite large, clean, and well-organized, with ATMs available. Although most of the signage is in Japanese, navigation is still easy for foreigners, making it a convenient place to spend some time. I eventually came back here to get my train to Hiroshima in the evening.

Used Fujisawa Station while connecting from the JR Line to the Odakyu Line. Rode the historic Enoden train to Kamakura. It's a 40 minute ride to Hase Station to see Daibutsu or Kotoko-in. Just follow the signs as the Enoden train is a short walk from the JR area.

It’s a good location, in walking distance to Enoshima Dentetsu station. The view is excellent too and it’s usually not too crowded. The caveat is the parking fee is very substantial even for American standard. Make sure not to park there for too long. We parked around 5 hours and it costed 6000yen

This parking have a nice sea view, however the ability of this parking organisation to deal with unexpected situation is terrible. Such as the exit machine breaking down. This happens on the firework festival where the car park is overcrowded, unfortunately the exit machine have some kind of issue and does not let the car flow exit smoothly, this forces all the car remain inside. It doesn’t only waste our precious time for our journey, as the time is ticking while we are inside the car park ,extra half an hour parking fee need to be paid. I would want an apologies and compensation from this car park. And for you who is able to see this review, I would hope you can have a radical rethink about whether to choose this car park for your cars resting point during the journey as it may interrupt your peaceful journey with troublesome situation.

If you come to Shigirigahama in the winter & spring season. You may can see Mt.Fuji easily. This parking lot is the perfect for you to parking your car and take photo of your car and Mt.Fuji. But parking fee is very expensive !!! Starting 400 yen per 30 minutes.

My family loves visiting Enoshima and the Mon' Ocean Beach Front House was very nice to stay in after a long day at the beach. The beds were very big and comfortable, the kitchen area was very modern and cute, and my family enjoyed the surfboards. I especially loved how close the house was to the beach, just a couple minute walk away.

I felt really lucky that day because the weather was so clear I could see Mt. Fuji against a breathtaking sunset. It was a magical 20 minutes that I’ll remember for a long time. If you visit Kamakura, I recommend staying until sunset—or even booking a night nearby to really enjoy it.
