Very beautiful cave. Highly recommend a visit. You can either go by car or by boat. If you take the boat you skip the initial 500 hike which is quite steep. If you arrive by car there is plenty of parking space and vendors that sell water. Make sure you bring enough water! Second part of the hike is uphill quite steep but doable. You will be rewarded with great views at the end of the trail. Stunning views of the sun shining through the cave ceiling. Well worth a visit. There are toilets and restaurants on the beach at the base of the climb
This is one of the "must" sites to see along the upper gulf coast. Although you may have to really earn it. We went on October 22nd which was a nice hot day after quit a few wet ones. The boats would not run in the stormy seas so you will have to hike the first leg by the park entrance. Fee is 200 for foreigner, 100 for Thai. The hike can be strenuous if either physically limited, or have any ailments. After the first "up to the viewpoint" and down the backside you come up to the beach. A nice secluded shell filled beach that leads you to the one again strenuous (only because the humidity helps the sweat pour out) hike up towards the cave. The well maked path takes to the first cave system once the jagged limestone path levels off. Then down through a cave opening to the grand entrance of Phraya Nakhon Cave. The lighting causes for a very dramatic backdrop to the shine. Quite spectacular. And the temperature in quite nice dropping at least 8 to 10 degrees Celsius lower than the outside temperature. On a Wednesday it wasn't really crowded and with patience can have the whole place to yourself for the perfect photo opp.
Amazing spot nice views, to have the best light come 10.30 till 12.00. athe light on the temple is only in February. There are two mountains to be crossed. You need to be fit, children can do it as well. Ways down and up are with stones. The first mountain can be down by boat if the waves are not to high, u arrive rhen directly on the beach and miss the views from the first mountain. At the beach there is a good restaurant with good drinks and they toilettes. From there u can start the second mountain when u made it, there is only ashort way down tonrhe cave entry. At the beginning u can see monkeys Dusty at the second climb or on rhe beach. The cave is amazing we had a very food toir guide she showed is perfect spots for photos.
Stunning drive through the National Park, then a challenging walk to the cave. Spectacular scenery and wildlife on the walk. The cave itself is breathtaking, well worth the walk. I rode a motorbike from Hua Hin, took 1 hour, but amazing mountain's 👏.
First of all, this cave is part of the Khao Sam Roi You national park. I recommend starting your day at the national park's ticket office. The ticket you buy here is valid for more than one attractions. I started my day with the mangrove forest around the ticket office area, then visited the Khao Daeng Viewpoint, after this Klong Khao Daeng (the boat trip price is not included in the ticket) and my last stop was Phraya Nakhon cave. I was riding a motorbike between the places. The cave can be reached by boats or walking. The motorboats are very loud and I prefer walking anyway so I hiked to the cave. Please note that it is a 2km distance. The first part of the road follows the sea shore, with wonderful views. It goes uphill first and then down to the beach. It is a bit rocky and you will definitely sweat a bit climbing here. Through the beach, you walk on flat surface among trees and sand, it is very pleasant (apart from the loud boats arriving every minute). Someone put swings on trees next to the beach, you may take nice photos here. There are also cafes and restaurant, bathrooms here to refresh if needed. The next part of the road takes you through a small forest part - apply mosquito repellent here if you haven't done it yet, they attack straight away! At the end of the forest road, you will see a big sign with many rules (how to dress, behave and so on) and a warning to understand your physical capabilities or limitations - because the next part of the road is very challenging. From now on, the road is mainly uphill on the natural terrain which has some steps built but it is mainly rocky and steep, sometimes a bit slippery. In the hot weather, it's not easy to complete the climb. Halfway up on the hill, you will find a resting stop with benches. The park also stations a first aid team here, which is reassuring. They are on standby for any emergencies or injuries. Also they sell (expensive) water. After climbing for about 500 meters, the last part of the road is finally downhill, believe me, you'll be grateful for that 😁 Please make sure you are dressed modestly to respect the Buddhist principles before entering the cave. The entrance is already impressive. I haven't seen a forest growing in a cave yet. The temple is in the second hall of the cave and if you are lucky, the sunshine will illuminate it. When I was there, I could admire it completely alone (low season) and it was a wonderful experience.
Parking: 10B motorcycle, 20B car Entrance to national park: 100B foreigner, 40B Thai Hike to Phraya Nakhon Cave: 1. 515m along the coast, up and down to reach Laem Sala beach 2. Around 1km flat along the beach. There's a restaurant. 3. 430m mostly up through the forest to the cave entrance. The path is shaded, mostly dirt, sharp rocks and makeshift steps. Physically demanding but very rewarding. Water can be bought at the entrance. Closed shoes recommended.
It's a cave. Steep. A wall runs along the path which is sometimes better. I'm fit. Still took me an hour . Take water . Round a big hill. Then down a cave system. Through 2 chambers into a 3rd which had the temple . 200 baht for adults 100 for kids. . Well worth it.
Wonderful sight to behold. The way there comprises 2 climbs with a walk along a beach in between. The climbs are treacherous but I saw many out of shape people and a few with difficulty in walking also doing it. Along the first climb, you'll be treated to magnificent views of the sea and beach. When you finally reach the cave, it's a spectacle to marvel. They've built a shrine in the cave and there are more things to explore once inside the cave. It's definitely worth the effort. This is something not to be missed.

A gorgeous place to visit. A long boardwalk leading to an end where you turn around and walk back. Nearby option for boat tours for 5 people 500 baht. There is a 200 baht fee for tourists and 40 baht fee for locals. There is a restaurant, education center and bathrooms on site. Stunning views.
What an amazing place. It is very picturesque and the amount of wildlife is stunning. Fish, lots of birds, insects, grasses and water lilies which are beautiful. I was told that if you want to see the water lilies then it is best to go in the winter/cooler months.
Stunning scenery thanks to it being next to a large spread of karst formations, and the wetlands that attract hundreds species of birds. This could have been 5 stars if the main gazebo wasn’t blocked off to tourist, presumably due to its run-down state full of bird-turds.
This was my second time to this place, I believe the lilies bloom in the morning and I got there it's afternoon but still can enjoy the boat ride so many birds and the mountains view was breathtaking. The boat ride takes about an hour or so one boat can take about 4-5 people (in my opinion) the ride about 500 baht and worth it, not so busy. One thing I wish they fix the entrance since there're big potholes but it's very short though not so bad just be aware of then you won't damage your car.
We came to visit at the beginning of May, on Sunday morning around 9am, it was an overcast day, no sun 1 which made it perfect to walk on a wooden paths and climb the little tower near the end to have a 360 panoramic view of the scenery. Views are stunning, it was not crowded at all, so peaceful and quiet - you almost feel like meditating by just being there. There were blooming lotuses here and there. We saw few of the boats going for a ride but didn’t feel it was needed, almost 2hours of walking was plenty. The path is still being build though, so you can’t just come to the shore on the other end and have to walk back to where you entered. We saw lots of wildlife along the way. We came with kids and they had to run and enjoyed the place a great deal. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful! Absolutely stunning! You can drive here and pay entrance fees, then park on the side of the road or their tiny parking space. You can walk on the boardwalk, the view was stunning! We went in the afternoon and it was HOT! But you can rent a boat (500 thb for 4 pax for an hour) and the driver took us around. It was beautiful, we got so close to the wildlife, mostly ducks and cranes, it was so peaceful and the view was wonderful. Our boatman actually slowed down every time we wanted to take photos, which was so nice of him. He even told us about all the birds since we were so interested. Overall, a wonderful place! And if you’re into getting nice photos, this is the place for you
Beautiful! Peaceful, calm, tranquil. Gorgeous scenery. Easy to walk. Great for birdwatching. Loved this place!
There has a sculpture of the view You can see the mountains close the you and even you can see the mountain far away from you , there also have spices of birds If you are lucky you see them on the bushes,My kid very enjoyed there we have a wonderful day

Peaceful place filled with serenity. Prayed and done some merits with donations. Was thinking that Luang Pu Thuat was only at Wat Mongkol Hua Hin but found out that he had been active in the southern region before on Google. Would possibly benefit with English for visitors from overseas.
My main complaint about this one is it seems a little too commercial for my tastes. I am not so fond of Wats that seem to be in business instead of being focused on Buddhism. Everything is nice and well laid out. It is clean and well maintained. They have added so much since I was last here. They do have some interesting antiquities and beautifully arranged areas. they people are very nice and helpful. Once things are more open again they also operate many small restaurants and shops on the premises.
Amazing place with 4 big Buddha!!
Great temple a must visit for any thai family or foreign worshiper many pictures can be taken here all so can drink the holy water from the temple bless by the monks .can by your lottery ticket to.great fun with souvenir shop went on bike took about 45 min easy to get to..
Beautiful, peaceful and spiritual place to visit and say a prayer. Very friendly people who are absolutely willing to help and guide you if you are not familiar with protocols at Buddhist locations. A bit out of the way but completely worth a trip.
Felt too commercial, having all famous monks big statue but without own contents and characters. However, if you look for photo shooting or nice scenery its still a best place to check in.
Large temple with plenty to see. Worth a visit if you are in the area
Very nice and amazing peaceful place

I've said it before home style food cooked stunningly well. Seriously great Sunday lunch. The photos say it all. The stuffing was spectacular added to three meat option of chicken, pork and lamb. The chef was worried about his baked sweet potato addition, no need! Delicious.
Best roast dinner I’ve had in Thailand. Paul and Noi, the hosts, were very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and nice crowd. Would recommend and would go again.
Fantastic Sunday roast lunch… excellent tasty food, stuffed chicken breast fresh veggies and crispy roasted potatoes… great staff who looked after us very well. The price was not too expensive either! “Noi’s” coffee is really good too, very hot and tasty !! This bar is well worth a visit 👍🏻
Do yourself a favour and pop by. You’re welcomed the second you step in, and the Sunday roast is enough to make you consider phoning your mum just to brag. Apple crumble, fish and chips, and the burger... we tried the lot. And yes, we went back… repeatedly. Call it dedication to the cause 😉
a good place to go out with friends. the atmosphere is pleasant. some come to play pool and a quiz night is organized every week. The clientele is essentially Farang in this bar and English-speaking. The bar can also close very late if customers are still in shape.
Pleasant relaxing bar with friendly efficient host. Also frequented by quite a few local expats. They also have pool and quiz nights.
Fantastic hosts, great place to relax and take in the sea views and a marvellous roast dinner to top it all off with plenty of delicious home made gravy. Thanks for making us feel at home. We will be back!
Great little spot. Noi is amazing Sunday roast is spot on...

There are 2 options to access Laem Sala, either by boat (400 baht, for approx 5mins) or by hike. If you're on a budget, would recommend going by the hike. Laem Sala is not meant for swimming due to the muddy nature of the sand. After reaching the beach, there will be a approx 800m uphill climb to the cave, and a further 200m to reach the furthest point in the cave itself
One of the prettiest and cleanest beaches around. We saw a good-sized monitor lizard here and there were tracks on the southern end of the beach.
Very clean and peaceful beach accessible by boat or 2 kilometers hiking from the national park ticket counter
Good beach for picnics or a family day.... not so much for swimming on windy days... nearby bathrooms and a restaurant round out thr facilities available to day visitors.
Beautiful beach covered in garbage, the usual plastic and M150 bottles mostly from fishermen. Ban plastic and straws ,real shame because it would be such a great beach.
Beautiful place. Beach and cave is worth a full day, or stay in the park bungalows.
Cozying up with a nice view.

Super clean and friendly staff offering massages at fair rates along the coast. If you’re staying at a local hotel they can also offer a massage at your accomodation. The foot massage is very good! I recommend coming here in person.
Very very good local massage and mani/pedi place. Very friendly owner and staff, prices are to low so make sure you tip well ! Great start for well needed rest and relaxation 🙏🏽
We went in for pedicures and they were wonderful. My wife also added a massage with Nana and she said it was the most healing massage she has ever had. I added a foot scrub and my feet felt brand new! Friendly and welcoming staff and owner with professional, amazing service. We will be back!
good service, good massage, lead a massage in an air -conditioned room and it was very good.
Best Massage in Sam Roi Yot! Staff are really friendly. Also great taxi service provided
I’ve had 2 massages with Jennie and she’s amazing! Best masseuse I’ve ever had. She’s extremely knowledgeable of each tendon/muscle and massages thoroughly with great technique. She actually solves problem areas instead of just temporarily relieving it. 100% recommend Jib Massage, truly a gem in Sam Roi Yot. 💛
Best massages I ever had, highly recommanded! They all are very kind. You are always welcome with a smile from everyone :) I come once a week and it's my favorite day, you can relax in a peacefull place. There are fans and the place is very confortable. Can't wait to try the eyelash extensions! Try it and you will never want to go elsewhere!

Soooo good! If you're up for a little adventure you must visit this cave. Since it's not a very popular spot compared to Phraya Nakhon most likely you'll have a chance to explore this cave by yourself. It might be a little bit challenging and scary for some people but nothing extreme. Few ladders, narrow passages and exposures to couple meter drops. For this reason I'd say it's safer to go with someone but I went alone and it was an amazing experience. I had a whole cave for myself. The silence you experience here is like nowhere else. Definitely take good shoes and a head torch (if you don't have one you can rent it from a park ranger at the entrance). You might get dirty a little bit as you'll have to crawl in one or two spots (see pictures). You can enter the cave based on the same ticket used for Phraya Nakhon and other attractions in this park so it's best to combine it with something else on the same day. 100% recommend!
Very nice place off the main tourist attractions. It's for more adventurous travelers. Sometimes you crawl sometimes balance on a ladder, and sometimes you meet a bat or a cricket. There are no lights, so either bring your own flashlight/headlamp or you can rent a headlamp for 14 baht at the ranger. Revard for you will be amazing karst decorations, large domes, adventure, and lasting memories. Your private cave with no other tourists. If you want you can go alone but I recommend going with the ranger. He shows you the path where to step and where not. It's included in the cost of the park entrance fee. So don't forget to keep your ticket from the previous cave or vice versa. Wear proper footwear, NO flip-flops atc! But that goes for all the caves in the area. At the end, I recommend buying refreshing coconut 😉 Instagram @dante4cz
Dark cave, low ceilings. Get the flash light, take your time to look around. The trail and cave is well marked. Bats roosting on the ceiling. LIVE cave. Though many of the formations are not protected. Careful of the drop offs, many have no rails and slippery footing, with the drops at more than 20 meters. No need to crawl, though low ceilings in some sections, prompt a head warning.
Really enjoyed the experience of going alone in the dark in this cave. Give you this feeling of loneliness and you could eventually get lost for a minute before figuring out where are located the arrows to guide you inside. Really nice experience. 200 baths at the entrance, you can rent lights to the ranger and repellent. You absolutely need lights inside but the ones from your phones should be enough.
One of my favourite parts of the holiday. Such an exciting trek up to and into the cave. Would highly recommend if you love climbing, hiking and seeing the local wildlife. Bats, monkey, lizards, the lot! Wear bug spray!
The Cave was amazing. The climb getting there was on another level. I thought I would have a heart attack. It showed me how out-of-shape I am. Once I got there is was so worth it. I'm not sure if I want to see it againg because all the hard work to get there. I was a couple weeks from my 62nd birthday.
Be careful! Station 1-3 are fine. Station 3-7 are for pros only. If u go beyond Station 7 make sure you connected by climbing rope especially if it’s in wet conditions. Also make sure you remember the way back beyond station 5 or it’s easy to get lost. Bring water and good lighting.
Small 200m trek dark cave with chance to see bats up close and see stalactites and stalagmites. Cave has narrow and somewhat difficult paths so make sure you are reasonably flexible and don't mind getting your hands on dirt. Entrance fee to national park for locals is 40 baht. 200 for foreigners. They have a flashlight for you to borrow for a 40 baht fee.

Our Bungalow was very clean and spacious. They have 2 big swimming pools, several Sunbeds including the umbrellas and pool towels . The breakfast was great. Unfortunately we could not swim in the sea because of jellyfish but I cannot blame the hotel. Thank you for the mosquito coil at the terrace . I would highly recommend them .
A good hotel on a very beautiful location next to the beach. Friendly staff! Good breakfast! The rooms are good but we had some technical problems with the airco that has been solved after several remarks. The safe box didn't work and has not been repaired. The swimming pool is very nice and clean. Many tourist trips available from the hotel.
The hotel is comfortable and the staff is very nice. The room was clean. Very good breakfast. However, the smoothies were very expensive — we paid 420 B for two, while everywhere else nearby one smoothie costs only 60–70 B
Absolutely lovely place to stay. The rooms are a little dated, but super clean and everything works, we even got a balcony with a sea view. Breakfast was great, sinner was really nice...a little bit of heaven just over the road from the beach, I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat! Lots of good food around as well.
It was the perfect getaway from Hua Hin! Our first time discovering Sam Roi Yot region which has plenty to offer. However we actually spent most of our time in Dolphin Bay Resort! It had so many activities for families: ping pong tables, badminton, board games, the big outdoor playground, the swimming pools with slide, bikes to rent, beach... The staff was always kind and helpful. We stayed 3 days and the restaurants menu had enough variety for us to eat and enjoy all our meals there (we especially appreciated the breakfast buffet!). Big plus: the connected rooms! Kids had their own space while still being together with us. That was game changing :) We will come back for sure!
A beautiful hotel located right in the heart of Sam Roi Yot Beach! The hotel offers plenty of amenities to keep you busy plus 2 large swimming pools 1 with a kids' play area. A nice clean and well-presented restaurant bar area with a decent menu on offer average priced for a beach location. Beautiful views great food and friendly staff
Very very nice hôtel😍🥰well located! The food is excellent we enjoyed the staff takes care of us! Thanks Anan you’re the best! Very good job!Thank you Jaeb!
Very nice Resort with excellent service qnd the most pleasant staff, especially the manager at the restaurant and his staff, owners should immediately give them a lot of praise and a high pay rise
