This place is awesome for learning the history and culture of Dvaravati in Thailand. This place recently achieved the title of the World Heritage site by UNESCO, and this is fully deserved. Inside, there are multiple architecture built in Dvaravati angor style out of laterite containg many high relief stucco in Dvaravati art style, which indicates this place to be former capital or one really important city of Dvaravati kingdom that spread throughout central Thailand during 8-9th century C.E. Highly recommend for those who enjoy learning history via visiting physical sites and those who simply enjoy walking in a chill shady area while observing/appreciating historical site.

Amazing ruins of the ancient Si Thep town. A leaflet is provided with some background info in English, but I recommend reading up on this special place before going to get a better idea of just how significant Si Thep was. Golf cart/open air bus included in the entry price. I’ve been here twice so far, and both times I was one of the only people there. Very quiet on weekdays

Another nice and chill place to learn history, it's not crowded on weekdays, 50 THB for parking, 20 THB for Thai visitors, 100 THB for foreigners, there's no public transportation to this place, recommend using a private or a rental car.

This was my first time to visit this historical site. It only costs 100 baht to enter and you get a guided tour around the ruins. Unfortunately the tour is in Thai and there is very little English around. It is very interesting to see and photograph. I recommend taking an hour or more of your time to go see it.

The 800-year-old Sri Thep Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers visitors a glimpse into a thriving ancient city. Entrance is 20 baht per person, plus a vehicle fee. A free shuttle service stops at key sites, with the last departure at 4:30 PM.

I can’t say enough about how mesmerizing the historical park was! Should bust it again for a couple of time. The main attraction left me stunned how they stood the time to let me have a glimpse at it though I was born some 17 centuries latter. A must see while in Thailand. A well-deserved World Heritage indeed.

As of Dec23, the direction given by Google Maps is inaccurate, but once you reach the entrance, everything is well organized. The park and historical sites are located within easy walking distance. There is a shuttle bus taking tourists from the entrance to the sites inside the historic park. However, do not miss the exhibition near the entrance as it tells you quite an interesting history about the site.
