I love this place. One of the highlights of our trip while we stayed in nearby Puerto Morelos. Glad we finally went after seeing it in years past. The guided tour, offered in Spanish or English, was great. Being able to see, touch, and feed some of the animals up close was fun. Many of the critters have some sort of local connection to the Yucatán. They all appeared to be well cared for. The zoo gives people an opportunity to learn about them in a safe setting.
Excellent attraction! It was a wonderful experience and we learnt so much! We got to walk through a crocodile enclosure, hold a snake, feed some animals and hold a tiny crocodile! The tour lasted about 45 mins which was perfect in the summer heat! There is a small playground at the end and a large gift shop.
Worth every penny. First off wear long sleeves legs and arms there are a lot of mosquitoes. You can tell the animals are so well looked after. The guide was super knowledgeable and we enjoyed our private walk around very much. The children loved holding some of the animals. They learnt so much in this time.
I had a lot of fun here. I was expecting to hold a small crocodile, i was not expecting to walk through their enclosure and come within a meter of a crocodile with no fence between us it was exciting. They also had sevral species of snakes and we got to hold one. When we were with the harless dogs two of them got in a fight but the guide was able to break it up immediately, demonstrating how good they are with the animals. I believe they said most of the animals are rescues, it looks like they have a good home!
Great activity for the whole family. The private tour was easy to walk and stroller friendly. Lots to see and interact with. Our tour guide Aldo was very patient with our curious 4 year old and very knowledgable.
Croco Cun Zoo is a wonderful place for those who want to experience exotic animals up close. Our guide Aldo was friendly, communicative, and very knowledgeable – he introduced us to all the wildlife in the zoo. This place left us with truly great impressions. Thank you!
Fun and interactive experience with animals. We saw deer, crocodiles, lizards, snakes, parrots, turtles, hairless dogs, and wild cats. You can get up close with a lot of these animals. I highly recommend, especially for those used to zoos in the US - you’ll get a very different experience.
I enjoyed it, tour guide was good.. Make sure you spray your self in lots of mosquito repellent before you go in.

It is different feeling to watch reefs and sea life under water. Great experience of snorkeling here. Second biggest reef in the world. There are boats that take you where reefs are. You can book snorkeling tour around Puerto Morelos sign.
Great swimming from shore as the reef keeps out larger waves. Excellent for families.
This is a beautiful park. They have a lot of activities and different places to buy souvenirs, food, and snacks. The beach is beautiful and clean. There is a playground for the kids. They do a great job of encouraging social distance and sanitization of hands.
Boar crew/snorkeling guides were fantastic! My family and I had a great time and overall experience at the reef. I wanna go back again.
great snorkeling experience, beautiful reefs and fishes, recommend
Great place to snorkel. You can get a boat ride out for about $20.
The best one in all Quintana Roo. You can see the reef very near you ! Gorgeous nature 😍
Beautiful reef and a ton of fish. Had one of the best snorkeling experience here.

Great excursion! Picked up in the afternoon and transported quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. Clean bathrooms/ changing area. Free lockers and towels. There is also a nice little snack bar (food and drinks to purchase) and a comfortable seating area to enjoy while waiting.
The dolphins were great, although I felt like their noses were a little torn up from pushing people out of the water. The pictures are priced outrageous ($50 a photo), and you aren't allowed to take any with your own phone. The staff was nice. Everyone spoke excellent English. They did seem to care about the animals, which is a big deal to me. The water was not clear, like in the pictures, but they have multiple locations. The facilities for showering were clean. All in all I would recommend.
The experience itself was memorable. However the picture package is highway robbery and spoils it, also considering that no phones/cameras are allowed to take your own images. The package is offered at 274$!!! It was negotiated down to $140 by a girl named Sara. She was supposed to email a payment link that made these images available. I was willing to pay, but the link wasn't sent. When I followed up and contacted the phone number provided during the sales pitch of the pictures, I was given a high price again. The person wouldn't offer the price of 140$ as given during the visit. Spoils the fun.
I went on this excursion with my two kids on 8/23/25, and overall the experience was wonderful. The price for the three of us was standard, and the dolphin encounter itself was excellent. We were able to touch and swim with the dolphins, and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, which made the experience even better. One drawback is that you’re not allowed to use your own camera or phone. Instead, a photographer follows you and takes photos throughout the activity. While this is convenient, the price of the photos at the end was absolutely outrageous. Even after trying to negotiate, I felt the cost did not match the value, so I chose not to purchase any. The dolphin experience itself was amazing and worth it, but the photo pricing policy left a negative impression.
Experience was alright, my little one tired of it quickly. (your mileage may vary on that front). As everyone else has pointed out, the photo upselling is outrageous. My overall rating for this place comes from the facilities etc for the dolphins. My spidey sense was tickling with all their over the top “for a blue planet” etc marketing, it felt like marketing alone with no real evidence to back it up. The dolphins themselves are a bit worse for the wear, when I asked about the scratches, assuming it meant they were rescues, it turns out the males do this to each other. I suspect being crowded in a small enclosure makes them act out on each other. Also, the dolphins themselves are bred in captivity, none are rescues. When I did some independent research afterwards, there was a lot about how these environments aren’t really humane for the dolphins themselves. I would not go again
The experience was alright, but I would not do it again. The cost for the actual excursion was already steep, and the photos were absurdly expensive which ultimately ruined it for me. The photos were also very poor quality, and I wouldn't have wanted most of them even with a good price. I ended up purchasing a single photo for $52 USD, and I regret even doing this.
Great views. We spent about an hour watching the dolphins. It is within walking distance to the resort. Several people were Taking part in swimming with the dolphins this was very exciting.
Lots of interaction short excursions perfect if you have little ones

Botanical garden
Nature & Parks
Lush garden with palms, cacti & other plants, plus a walking trail to an ancient Mayan site.
Slide 1 of 8
Loved it. It is more like a walk in the jungle and seeing the native plants and animals. Not really a botanical garden we are used to in Canada. So this was a great surprise and we loved our 2.5 hour stroll.
This was a great place to visit. No it's not like your average Botanical Garden you'd see in other parts of North America, but it was beautiful just the same. Highly recommend.
Beautiful nature preserve amidst Mayan ruins. In the jungle (use mosquito repellent) and next to the mangroves. Great hike great trail, great viewing platform. And education and conservation minded as well. We loved this experience.
A beautifully curated window into endemic wildlife, as well as the historical practices of the Maya who occupied this land pre-colonization. Can’t believe this isn’t a more popular spot. Any less than stellar reviews are from those who don’t fully appreciate this sort of environment. Stunning trail (with lookout) in addition to the meticulously maintained botanical collections. Great place to learn some local history / botany, but if that’s not your thing, the beautiful scenery is more than enough to justify a trip. Bring bug spray.
Great place to learn about the local plants and the Mayan culture. Not many amenities and most paths feel like hiking trails.
Good place to visit if you are interested in various trees and Maya culture. We came at round 8:15 in the morning and been there for few hours. Seen few monkeys, hummingbird, butterflies and other. We have been on 2 climbing towers. One steel and one wooden one. The hanging bridge was closed. Lots of mosquitoes, be prepared! They have few washrooms with soap and running water. As of Nov 4,2025 the admission fee was 220 per person. Perhaps that’s why there are hardly any visitors around and why I put 4 stars. The staff was friendly
A nice walk in the jungle, nothing more than that. The amount of mosquitoes is crazy and makes it really difficult to enjoy the place. We didn't see any animals except iguanas. A ticket costs 220 pesos. Overall, I don't recommend the experience.
I came on 5 November 2025 and had a brilliant time, I'd highly recommend a visit. I personally felt the entry fee of 220 pesos was very reasonable. I was desperate to see the monkeys and after reading others' reviews, I got to the park around 10:20am. I didn't see the monkeys on my first full walk round the park but then I found them in several different places, and there were loads! I saw the most, and found them to be the most active, at 12:45, so I think it's really just your luck and being in the right place at the right time. My tips for keeping an eye out for them: if you see a human, staring up at a tree and smiling, I bet they've seen some monkeys. Otherwise, listen for rustling in the tops of trees, and keep an eye out for falling bits of fruit / nut shells - this could be the monkeys dropping them as they eat, which was a good indicator for me as to when they were about. I even saw a baby monkey before I left. I also saw an iguana, a capybara, and loads of birds and butterflies. The route is easy enough to follow - it's marked out on trees and along little stones on the ground, plus the reception staff will give you a map to use and return if you want. I took one and it was handy. The route round is about 2km. It is mostly a path but be prepared that it's not a 'walking' path but rather a trail cleared through the trees to follow, at least for the longer biodiverse section. It's full of tree roots and steps, so unfortunately not for those who struggle with mobility and I'd recommend sturdy, comfortable shoes. There's lots of information plaques, in Spanish, English and Mayan (I think), which talk about the plants, Mayan tradition, and the animals. Very informative. I'll echo what everyone else says about mosquito repellant - come prepared and doused in repellant as they are everywhere. The easiest way to get here is to drive but I got an Uber in each direction from the city centre and although it added to the price, it was convenient and I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for a ride home when I was leaving, even though the park is quite far out of the city. There's parking available for those who do drive.

Relaxed property offering laid-back rooms & an outdoor pool, plus beach access & a beach club.
Slide 1 of 8
I had a nice stay at Hotel Ojo De Agua in Puerto Morelos. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach and close to the town's shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. The rooms are basic but clean, safe, and comfortable—perfect for a no-frills getaway. The showers are warm, not hot, but still refreshing after a day at the beach. For the price, you get great value. The hotel also has a lovely restaurant at the beach club where you can enjoy breakfast with a view. Overall, it’s a great spot for a relaxed, budget-friendly stay.
I would highly recommend you not stay here, even if it’s your only option. We arrived with no running water and that went on for two days! Front desk staff kept saying that it would be fixed in an hour, for two days! Once the water did come back we had some sort of swimming bugs that would call the toilet home. Flush them down and an hour later they are swimming in there again. I’m pretty sure they used swamp water to fill the cistern and this appears to be the same water that comes out of the shower and sink taps! The place is also a mess, and I mean mess. Stains on the walls, blood stains on the sheets, the doors falling off the hinges, staff using POOL water to clean the floors and wash the thread bare towels! The restaurant in the middle of the place is no longer part of the resort but stinks the place to high heaven with kitchen exhaust, no latter what time or where the wind blows the smell of used cooking oil hangs in the air. It would appear they paint the room regularly to hide the filth. Everywhere you look has paint droplets. Even the soap bottles in the bathroom were hurriedly painted around and left in place. Don’t believe the plethora of positive reviews you will find online, they have to be from AI bots or some other form of fakery. You can tell the place was once nice but it’s gone downhill since the posted pictures were taken. Eventually the manager, Francesco , was able to get us moved to another property, the beach club next door. I couldn’t get out of there quick enough.
You can tell the hotel is old and could really use some renovation. The furniture was pretty worn down, there was NO HOT WATER and it tasted salty :( Besides this, you get what you pay for. Location is amazing and for having a pool and access to the beach, price range is not too bad.
This place is dingee and has very few amenities. No hot water. No coffee. No drinking water when we arrived. We woke up to sewer smell coming from the shower. We were told to go to the beach club for seats with our wrist bands. When I got there the staff said they were all reserved but they were not full. When my boyfriend’s Mom asked them they said she could sit by the bar. Let’s just say you get what you pay for. It might be slightly better than camping
I give this 4 stars plus. The folks at the front desk are awesome as is house keeping. We did not eat here or drink at the bar, so I can’t speak about the staff there. First off for the reviewers complaining about blood stained towels / sheets. I don’t know where they come from but I rarely, anywhere see masses of people bleeding all over the place. Certainly not here. The stains you may see are from rust. Iron and salt water do not go well together. Iron oxidizes / rusts. Introduce salt water and its rust on steroids. While there may be a bloodstain on a towel or sheet, who knows? And blood has iron in it, so a blood stain may look like a rust stain on laundry. All of the laundry we touched here smelled like clean laundry, just like a fancy schmancy hotel’s laundry. If you have ever owned a boat or lived near the ocean, you know how salt water / wind / sunlight is working overtime trying to destroy everything. Rest easy, you are getting an exceptional value at this hotel. It’s a great beach location (sargassum season is what it is.) The neighborhood is lively and music can play late at night on weekends, but that just means folks are having fun and you should be out there having fun too. As for hot water, it’s not scalding hot, but warm enough for a comfortable shower. The bed was comfortable and I slept almost 9 hours my first night, a Saturday night. The air conditioner was perfect, amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will DEFINITELY come back here.
Good geolocalisation. Beachfront. Good service. Good price. But the quality of the room was not really good; many major thing was broke in rooms like toilet, bed, door, etc...
It is so refreshing to see in the other reviews that my bad experience was not unfounded, worst service, staff and experience ever charged me 600 pesos for a day pass when it clearly say 250 pesos for the day and in addition they refused to serve me food and drinks included in the day pass admission fee worth 400 peso, complete rip off DO NOT Recomend to visit this establishment, there is so many more places to go to in Puerto Morelos.
It's a good deal for the price. Rooms smell and little molding? Sure. Bathrooms need updating? Absolutely. But you want to pay literally five times as much to stay a half mile up the beach? The beds are comfortable, the AC works just fine. Download some movies on your iPad, don't waste your time and bug the staff trying to deal with the TV issues. Just chill. Get you salt on. Save some money.

The best cenote in the playa del Carmen area let alone the whole world. Super nice people (make sure to ask for Julio) great 2 cenotes with great options for jumps and aquatic zip lines. The food isn’t great but it is amazingly fun and I would highly recommend to any one, tourist or local. Cenote Blanco Flor (the second one) is much better with 2 level of zip lines and 6 levels of jumps with one being a whopping 40 meters tall!
First of all, the cenotes and surrounding area are beautiful. We started with a trip to the 1st cenote. Then we took the ATVs to a 2nd cenote. Lastly we took the ATVs back for some quick ziplining (3 zipliines). The whole experience was just under 2h. We had the most fun at the 2nd cenote jumping from a zip line into the water. Our guide was quite rushed but very nice and pleasant. The reason I'm only given 3 stars is the overall price and value for money. The tour was fun, but instead of a 45min ATV ride, it was roughly 20-25min. The food was also quite bland. What bothered us the most was the price of the pictures. They told us at the beginning that we weren't allowed to take any phones or cameras with. Generally fine by me, but afterwards they wanted to charge us 60$ for all the pictures together. We could also buy a single picture for 10$. We tried negotiating the price to a more reasonable number, but the owner insisted the lowest they could go was 40$ for all the pics. Still way to expensive and definitely waaaaaay more than we'd pay at home. So generally speaking a pleasant and fun experience, but probably not worth 80$ p.P. and the exorbitant picture prices. Only consolation was that we had a few minutes to take some pics with our phone of the 1st cenote once the whole tour was done, but we were then rushed back to our driver to go home.
We went there 2 weeks ago, I believe it was $15 a person for foreigners. There is another price to visit both cenotes in that area but we had little kids and did not have a lot of time so we only did one. It is not located inside any resort, open to general public. The place is cute, clean, they have picnic tables set up. We went on a Saturday and there was hardly anyone there but our group. This cenote looks like a cave, you go down the slippery stairs to get to it. You can also jump down from an opening at the top or get down by stairs and swim all around. We only did one cenote on this trip and this one was perfect! Our 3 year olds loved it and still talk about the experience :)
Really nice cenote, deep 250+ ft or 70+ metres. Really liked id, jumped from 5m into cave for 2 times. Ypu can spot divers or fishes in the water it is crystal clear. BUT be aware that you cannot take mobile (even in waterproof case) but they will sell you after event sell photos 10$ / pcs or 40$ / all photos. Some people reported to them that DVD was empty, photos not working. So recommend when you will recap photos what professional photographer takes, record video on mobile ... you will at least have something :)
They won't let you take your own photos which is a horrible policy, I would have given them a 5 start review if it wasn't for that stupid idea. They have 2 beautiful cenotes. The "zip line" is very short, and you have to hold on and then jump off to the water which is lots of fun. The ATV are lots of fun, the breaks doing work very well so keep a good distance between you and the front person.
This place was awesome. We had a blast, and we were not in a tour group. Awesome cave swimming with a high jump for the adventurous plus a lot more. We loved the fact that there were friendly dogs and cats all over the place. Good food too. Definitely check it out whether you're on a tour or not (more fun without IMO).
Price is $15 for Cenotes. They have zip lines, horses, and 4 Wheelers $15 each per activity. Cenote was beautiful and water was just barely cool, super clean, and clear.. The food in the restaurant was the best I had while in Mexico. Grilled chicken and fajitas were off the chain. Loved this nice little place.
STAY AWAY. UNSAFE, UNPROFESSIONAL, DANGEROUS. RIP OFF. We did this in January 2021. I really do not recommend this place. Completely unsafe and unprofessional. There are a lot of cenotes to go to, you don’t need this one. - they force you to leave any camera / cellphone when you go on the tour. Then, they have people with cameras taking pictures of you and at the end selling them to you for $10 USD each or $60 USD. If you hide your phone, they kick you out of the tour with no refund. - the zip line in the trees is unsafe. You are given beaten up gardening gloves to slow you down by touching the ropes with the gloves. We got injured doing it. - the atvs are extremely olds. Mine had around 100k kms, it also didn’t have breaks at all. - The included food is a joke. We got quesadillas, they were pretty much empty inside.

So fun. Food was delicious. Many choices. Beautiful Ground. Friendly staff. Miguel is the best bartender. Alejandro, Moises, cheeky baby and Kendell were super fun at the pool. The nightly entertainment was excellent. I highly recommend this resort
A simple and yet uplifting church with 12 PM English mass.
A small but charming church in the heart of Puerto Morales. We visited in the morning, out of their schedule, and everyone inside was super kind and receptive to our presence. They have a small souvenir store at the entrance where you can find rosaries, necklaces, among other jewelry.
Very welcoming. Deacon Paul’s Christmas homely. English service. Merry Christmas & Happy 2024 The little fans couldn’t handle the heat.
I liked this parroquia it is steps from the beach ⛱️ in puerto morelos, y el padrecito esta...GUAPO!
Friendly and unique Catholic church in the center of town. Felt very safe at Mass. They use sanitizer and disinfectant upon entering, and enforce strict social distancing. Markings are very clear. Aids speak English as well as Spanish. A little ice cream shop is attached to the church and they sell a few religious items just inside the main door. There is an English mass new yrs day at noon.
English speaking mass at noon. Plenty of seating. Fans to keep it cool. Would recommend!
What an incredible church. The priest even blessed me along with my friends too.

We did the ATV/Ziplining/Swimming package but didn't do the local market shopping due to tight schedule. Lunch buffet was ok, nothing to brag about. The pictures taken from the trip cos $50 for digital photos which was sent to us within 24 hours after we paid.
Disregard the negative reviews you read below. This place is awesome. If you're easygoing and looking for a great time with your family and friends this place will not disappoint. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming to our entire group. Safety was a top priority for their team and they made sure our gear was well-fitted and we were comfortable. They also provided lunch and it had the warm feeling of a home-cooked meal. We were picked up from our hotel along with a group of around 10 people and everyone appeared to be having a wonderful time. Baby shark (our tour guide) and the guy in charge of the horses were such a great time. Highly recommend this place!
My boyfriend and I booked the ATV, Zipline and cenote tour (half day) through Atempa's tours in Cancun. We paid $55 each for a single ATV. If we wanted to have our own ATV's it would have been $15 extra each. We were picked up on time at our resort at 1pm in a 16 passenger van with a/c. We had about 2 other pick ups at other locations. It was a smooth 30 min ride from the hotel zone. We got to the location where were briefed on safety and filled out waivers. There was $5 optial insurance fee for the ATV's and the lockers were $10 but you got a $5 deposit back. Let me just start with this, this location isn't for everyone. THIS IS THE JUNGLE not some bougie place where they rip your arm off for the same experience. Angelo and Gilberto were amazing! They were funny, careful with the guests and really made the experience so much fun. I felt safe in there care and would go again anytime. Lunch was 3 taco which were very tasty a d a soft drink or water. (There were chips and other little drinks you could buy, no alchohol) Like the other reviews I do have to agree the ATV's were in bad shape some kept shutting off, but we didn't have any issues. Though out the entire experience we were accompanied by a photographer/ videographer. Once it was over we were offered a portable USB with all of the pictures and a few videos of the adventure for $50.
Had so much fun here today! The staff provided excellent service and made sure we were safe for all of the activities. The activities were so much fun. The horse back riding was a great experience and the operator made me feel very safe despite the fact that I was nervous to ride the horse. Baby Shark made sure we were taken care of and that we had all the information and instructions to do the activities safely. Tequila tasting was a great experience (especially the flavored one). The guy who served us was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.
Our tour guides Tequila and Adrian were awesome and very engaging with the whole group! We picked this excursion because our resort offered a discount that made it cheaper than other eco adventures ($50 per person and $30 per person traveling). Everyone from our family of five really enjoyed their time here and we did the ATVs, Zip Line, and cenote. We finished with a chicken fajita lunch that was tasty and filling. We opted out of pictures but they were $35 per person and looked nice. Nothing necessarily wrong with the whole experience it was very fun and ran smoothly BUT giving four stars because it seems there a lot of other bigger eco parks with longer zip lines, bigger cenotes, and just generally more space. I’m conclusion: I wouldn’t pay for this park at full price but for the discounted price we had we really, really had fun! It was our first time doing something like this. Not sure why there are bad reviews honestly maybe it was different pre-COVID?
I’m not sure whether I want to be upset at the unorganized chaos this place has in store or the freaking driver!! The ATV was fun but the zip line long and boring, we had too many people in the group and some were too afraid to do the course so of course that held up everything. The empanadas were good, could’ve gave us more. The driver on the other hand was the worst. He got us lost twice!! He needed to use one of the customers phone for GPS. We were inconvenienced because a group got picked up not at their original hotel but another that they were doing another excursion with, well their original hotel was 50 min south of my hotel so that is a two hour ride for me. We asked if we can be dropped off first because we’ve already been inconvenienced. I do not recommend Loma Bonita at all.
Staff was very kind and eccentric. Everything about this was fun. The ziplining was a decent amount of time (around 1+ hr) and the ATVs were super fun, our guide also made sure to check if everyone was alright often. The lunch that they swerved was very good and it was accompanied by a cute “chill out” spot with hammocks and picnic benches.
Went to Loma Bonita a few days ago our hotel set us up with this adventure. It was amazing the staff was overall friendly, funny and very welcoming. When i was scared to do stuff they helped me through it and had me and my friends laughing almost the entire time! We got to zip line on 6 different lines, then we did the ATVs for about an hour give or take I’m not to sure but for a good amount of time. Then we swam in the canote which had zip line a tightrope and a platform to jump from which was also fun! They even gave us food! Empanadas which were delicious and an option of coke or water. And throughout this entire time we had a photographer who also took amazing photos of me and my friends! This experience was great! I would highly recommend and when i come back to Mexico I’m defiantly going back! So much fun for a GREAT price ! I’m so happy we went!

During our first trip to Cancun, my friends and I made our way to Cenote La Noria, and the entire experience was absolutely incredible. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend making a visit—it’s truly a must-see! The cenote offers a variety of fun activities, all at prices that are well worth it. Out of all the places we visited during our trip, La Noria stood out as one of the highlights. The natural beauty of the cenote is breathtaking, but what really made our visit special was the incredible staff. They were friendly, supportive, and went above and beyond to make our day even more memorable. As someone who doesn’t know how to swim, I was initially terrified to enter the cenote. However, thanks to the encouragement and assistance from the amazing staff, not only did I step into the water, but I also gathered the courage to jump right in! It was an exhilarating experience that I’ll never forget.
We had a blast here!! Well mostly. The ATV ride all tho fun was shorter than advertised. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the ziplines and the Cenote was amazing. We jumped in from the edge and enjoyed just swimming around inside for close to an hour. Was refreshingly cool water in the Mexican heat and Chuck was our guide who was amazing! He even took pictures on our phones for us. The picture package offered afterwards was pricey to begin with but they discounted it after some mattering. Very worth it all in all. Even tho we had to go through a jewelry store for about 30 minutes.
Nice and friendly staff. Beautiful Cenote with a swing and possibility to jump from 7 meters
Very nice owner and staff. We camped for a night for no additional charge. Lots of beautiful animals on the property like peacocks and toucans.
Very nice Cenote with deep water and little fish. There are bats living in it which is great to see while floating in the water silently. The owners have made the place a very nice stay for a day with deck chairs & tables for a picnic. People are very nice and helpful. The entry of 200 pesos is worth it I would say. One thing I did not like is the pump used down there. I see a high risk of fuel or lubricant entering the water, which would destroy this precious place. I hope it gets fixed soon.
Amazing experience at this tucked away cenote. We were a little leery of the one lane road, but our little Chevy Aveo made it without any issues. The road is about 1.5 miles, FYI. Upon arrival, we paid our 300 pesos per person and were given a tour. There are three entrances to the cenote ranging from easy to a 7 m cliff jump. This was our second cenote in our favorite for the overall experience. The water was crystal clear and refreshing, and not too cold. The platform in the middle is solid and allows you to set your stuff there while you explore the cave. We spent an hour in the water and exploring, then headed up. Once we were up top, we couldn’t help but notice the amazing smells coming from the small kitchen and cook area that we passed on the way in. We checked on the menu and sat down for lunch. Four kinds of tacos at about 20 pesos each and a good sized plate of nachos for 100 pesos allowed us to try everything. We had to have seconds of the oven roasted pork but it was all really good! If you don’t like onions, make sure to ask for the nachos without them. Otherwise enjoy with a cold beer or soda! We would definitely return to the cenote in the future!
What an amazing place! The owner was very friendly, even the peacock was friendly lol.. It is pretty deep in the woods & off the path so be prepared, but for me that was the beauty of it. Would recommend to everyone looking for an adventure! 😁
I recommend it! Very friendly staff, options to jump in the Cenote ( about 7-8m high), take a rope or just go in with stairs. We booked a package with Zipline ( 5?) and atv cars- had a lot of fun- although 1200 Pesos is a lot… big area, not crowded. Bathrooms and little cabins to change clothes. Drive about 30Min from Puerto Morelos.

Wonderful gallery with something for everyone. Franziska Schütt is the owner and artist of most of the original creations you'll find there. Do not pass on this opportunity if in the area. Her art is memorable and moves quickly.
We went to the gallery and even when items have price tags, the owner will randomly state she has decided not to sell those pieces. This is a terrible business and an absolute waste of time. Don’t go to this joke of a “gallery,” they don’t sell anything. It’s far from the center of town, not a real gallery

The brewery was closed for the weekend when we went and they didn’t announce it anywhere, but someone was there to let us in and let us buy a four pack! They had the golden ales and the pale ales. Beers were great, the place looks fun! If you use a taxi to get there, be sure they’re open before the taxi goes away.
Stopped in for a craft beer. First day we came it was not open but there website said that they were. We tried again and they were open, we were the only ones there. I had the IPA, a little flat and warm. This place has potential but not yet. I ordered beer to go and they were sold out of almost all beer except 2. Disappointed.
Excellent beer. Excellent meal. Excellent staff. Five stars. Hands down the best brewery I’ve been to in Mexico. We started with a flight of all the beers and what followed was the road to beer bliss. The four of us were enjoying our finds, awaiting our meals. I recommend the blonde for those who enjoy a nice lighter flavored beer while the beer expert in the group had the IPA. Whichever you choose you’re sure to find a beer you’ll enjoy. For lunch we ordered pulled pork sandwiches and pork ribs. The chef, David, is a grill master who brings his own flavors to BBQ and you will be glad he does. My goodness those ribs disappeared. Meanwhile, we cut those sandwiches into smaller bites to finish off our meal. We were not sure how those sandwiches were seasoned but seasoned they were and we were ashamed for wanting more. Santiago was our server and he made things fun and added all the charm and passion to our experience. I highly recommend Pescadore Brewery. You will too.
Update. It is a great place to have a beer. It is a very relaxing place to drink one of the superb Pescadores brews. Surrounded by the jungle. The beer is one of the best I had and being from Boulder, Colorado (capital of the artisan beers) is a tall note. Update they keep making awesome beer. Thelma is always kind and attentive. This Saturday the music was live.
Beauty little place with local craft beer. Can be a little noisy with the highway right in front. Cannot be more local than that... and you can have some take out bottles as well. Enjoy! I sure did
Great microbrewery just south of Puerto Moralos. They have several options for craft beers from light to dark. You can also get a taster pack to sample all the flavors. Haven't tried the food yet. Edit: Stopped in again Sunday Apr 27 2025. They have 3 for the price of 2 beer specials for Motorcycle riders!! Perfect for washing down road dust.😎
My boyfriend and I love going to new breweries, so when we discovered this place not too far from where we were staying, we had to try it out! I was fascinating to hear they made a beer from rain water, it was really good! Def would go back if we happen to be in the area again
A must stop off the highway.. Great beers..!! I love the habanero beer..!! When they have it in stock that is. Place could use some music and more ambiance..

Definitely the best place to play, watch and experience Polo in Mexico ! I recommend El Rey for anyone that wants to practice polo or just want to watch a game. Clean, organized and beautiful country club. Manolo and his crew are the greatest hostess.
Beautiful grounds with a pool and swings. We rode horses around the property with a small ground of friends and had a great time.
The facility is super clean and picturesque! I went horseback riding and the horses are well behaved as they take you through the trail.
Super fun Nice people great experience!! I’ll definitely come again..
I always try to keep my reviews on a positive note so to give them some credit that was an awesome event which I attended last year and one of the polo tournaments however after considering I'm buying some land in this place I could easily tell that it has been mismanaged and most of the people that own property there are very unhappy to the point that none of them are paying their maintenance fees and not one has developed or built on their lot. Must say it does have a lot of potential
Super friendly and welcoming for a visit, lesson or stay in the beautifully appointed accommodations
Superior customer service satisfaction
The grounds are absolutely beautiful. I went here for an excursion (ride horses).

Location, location, location! Very near the Cancún Airport and Tren Maya stations. The rooms are simple and clean. The beds are so very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. This is the perfect spot for the last night of your trip or the first night when you have traveled a long day and need to get your bearings before you venture off into country. The staff was delightful.
Loved the place it's a very nice pool and the food is delicious. The rooms are comfortable and the bed was absolutely fabulous. The location is perfect if you go to the airport the next day. Otherwise it's nothing to do near the place. Be aware of a fake profile /hotel with the same name farther out!!
Very nice hotel. We just stayed there for one night after a late flight and the staff was super friendly with arranging pick up. They also offer free shuttle back to the airport/train station. Room is big and spacious but simple.
Online hotel advertize the Tequila taste tour but after driving over 1h to get there they said they dont do it anymore.
The place is nice and I like the vibes. It's 10 min to the airport, cheapest we could find at the time but personally it's still a little expensive to just overnight. The king bed is big, it can fit 4 person or more plus a twin bed for $53 but I didn't need a room or bed that big so I personally would've gone for less cost to stay 1 night. We needed to be close to the airport for an early flight and we have a rental car.
I am taking the time to write this review as this hotel made an impact on me and on my family. We stayed for two nights this February as we wanted to be close to the airport for our early morning flight. Food- the food exceeded all expectations. The chef is extremely talented and spent the day preparing homemade food with healthy ingredients. The flavour and fresh quality of the food was unreal. We joined the chef in the kitchen area and watched him cook. The smell throughout was kitchen area had our mouths watering in preparation for supper. Rooms- the most comfortable bed and bedding I’ve had in a long time. The rooms are not high end fancy, I don’t want to create false expectations. But we loved the charm of the rustic bathroom and overall space. We wore earplugs as the rooms are closer to the highway but the kids did not notice the sounds of the road (too tired from busy days). I slept amazing both nights. Excellent air conditioning and very clean. Staff- the staff are phenomenal. It seemed they all get along really well (good team environment) and aligned all of the travel we needed to and from the resort. They made recommendations where to spend our days and all were great fits. Facility- Our children (8 and 9 year old) were treated very well and loved the facility. Small enough for them to get around and feel safe running up to the room. Good pool. Fun hammocks. Well kept grounds. Very clean rooms. Coffee and breakfast upon waking. Supper available until 9:30 pm. cocktails/blended drinks not available while we stayed but beer and tequila available and mix available. Also amazing Paloma was available upon request. In summary, we plan to stay again in the future.
Perfect stay if you are planning on going to a resort later. It's not near any beach but actually in front of a busy highway. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was not included, staff was nice and accommodating. Overall, nice stay.
We stayed here for one night and used their shuttle service to get there from Cancun Airport. The room was basic but clean, had a good bed and everything worked. The immediate surroundings are beautiful and home to many spider monkeys. The host was very friendly and helpful. All in all a very good deal.
