Wonderland of trees and wildlife!! The seawall is spectacular and a perfect place for a daily dog walk, run or bike ride. Even rollerblading is permitted! A few restaurants are located within the park’s boundaries and one gift shop. I love this place so much and highly recommend visiting. You could spend days just exploring the trails and sights.

An incredibly beautiful park at the tip of downtown Vancouver, perfect for a run or a walk after work. The seawall (the path around the park by the water) allows for many different sceneries from the Vancouver skyline to the harbour or the ocean. A must visit during your stay in Vancouver, BC, that's for sure! And don't miss Prospect Point Lookout for one of the best views of the Lions Gate Bridge and West Vancouver 😊

My favourite spot in Vancouver! Absolutely gorgeous park, with so many species of trees, birds, insects and fish; trails and stuff to do inside; and such a clean, organized, and well-maintained park too! Can easily spend a whole day here just walking around, or renting a bike and going for a scenic ride along the seawall. A must for every person that visits here.

It’s a huge park and a fantastic place for families with activities to enjoy. Make sure to grab a map from the info centre when you arrive. It helps to navigate the area. You can walk or rent a bike. We ended up spending around 3 hours there. One of the highlights was the carriage horse ride that took us around the park for about an hour. It was a wonderful way to see the sights and scenery.

My experience at Granville Island was wonderful! They have a charming market that is very well-stocked with a great variety of products, including many delicious cheeses, fruits, patisserie and foods. I made sure to try their very famous and highly recommended soup. Honestly, it’s a must-visit spot. Plus, the whole neighborhood is incredibly beautiful and clean, making the area really pleasant."

Granville Island is a unique spot with a lot of character, though my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. As someone with no sense of direction, I found the layout of the island a little challenging to navigate. The network of alleys, industrial-style buildings, and indoor/outdoor market spaces had me doing a few loops! The gloomy, overcast weather that day didn't help, casting a slightly subdued and industrial feel over the place. However, the heart of the island is undoubtedly the Public Market. It's a vibrant hub bursting with life, where I loved wandering past the fantastic food stands and unique artisan stores. The location right on the water is a major plus. Being next to the pier made it incredibly easy for us to take a scenic ferry ride directly to downtown Vancouver, which was a highlight. I arrived fairly early on a weekday, so it was much less crowded than I had anticipated. The downside was that several restaurants were still closed until nearer to noon.

Most Visited It’s easy to see why this place draws so many people — it has that mix of light, sound, and life that just pulls you in. On a sunny day, the waterfront feels golden, with sailboats drifting past and music from the market carrying through the air. The outdoor shops are great for a slow wander, and inside the market there’s food from every corner of the world. And if you love cheese, the little cheese shop is a must.

Sept. 19/25: Haven’t been here for a long time as parking is limited and all pay. It’s too bad because it’s definitely a tourist destination and I’m sure the many businesses would appreciate more parking. The public market is a draw with its vast array of everything gourmand, sights and sounds enticing. Lee’s Donuts is a big draw here, look up for the filled donuts as the brightly coloured iced donuts are displayed in front at people level. Fresh filled cappaletta, fresh basil, variety of cheeses and pastry was purchased. Everything looks very fresh but not light on the wallet.

A lot of unique shops and vendors. Most shops weren't open yet when we came so we couldn't explore much. People there are friendly and welcoming. Some were not. A lot of the souvenir items were pricer than other places in Vancouver.

Granville Island is a wonderful place to spend the day! It has a wide variety of shops, bakeries, and restaurants offering something for everyone. You’ll find everything from toys for kids and pet supplies to handmade jewelry, clothing, unique gifts, crafts, paintings, and more. It’s also home to several theaters, and there are always cultural events happening — like plays, dance performances, and live concerts. It’s a very complete and vibrant place, perfect for locals and tourists alike. Getting there is easy too — whether by car, bus, sea taxi, or even on foot.

Beautiful flowers even though we visited end of season. They had a wide variety of flowers/plants from different regions- Mediterranean garden, Japanese Garden etc. They had many roses of different colours and flowers I’ve never seen before! It was beautiful! The garden was smaller than I thought- people recommended 3 hours for the gardens but we covered it within 1.5 hours. Limited dining options with only one cafe but the food and coffee were good!

If you haven’t been to Butchart Gardens, don’t even claim you’ve been to Vancouver Island! The moment you step into the Sunken Garden, jaws drop all around 🤩😍🤩 It’s hard to imagine this was once a quarry — now layers of greenery and blooming flowers create a fairytale-like scene. Beyond the iconic Sunken Garden, I especially loved: • 🇮🇹 Italian Garden – elegant symmetrical fountains and charming water-side pathways. • 🇯🇵 Japanese Garden – flowing water, stone bridges, and soft moss create a serene, poetic atmosphere. In summer, the gardens stay open later into the evening. On Saturdays, there are fireworks 🎆, and on Sundays, live music 🎶 adds a magical touch. It’s like a paradise for slow living: couples strolling hand-in-hand, seniors walking their dogs, everyone moving at their own gentle pace. Sometimes, the best version of life is simply right in front of you. 🌸🧺✨

If I’m being honest, I wasn’t too keen on visiting The Butchart Gardens at first as we had a long journey ahead after leaving Victoria, but my partner insisted, and I’m so glad we went. What an absolutely stunning place! We arrived right as it opened, so it was peaceful and not too busy, giving us time to wander through the different areas - the Sunken Garden, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, and more - each one beautifully designed and full of charm. Despite visiting in early October, there were still so many blooms, and the colours were starting to turn lovely shades of autumn. Definitely worth the visit!

We visited Victoria specifically to see Butchart Gardens and it was amazing! Go early to avoid what will be crowds. Take time to just enjoy as it’s hard to not keep taking photos and selfies given the views but you’re surrounded by nature’s beauty so take the time to breathe, stop and enjoy. A tip is to take your photos early and then, walk around your favorite areas a second time to just enjoy and relax. Fun gift shop for souvenirs and cafe to grab a bite and coffee. Give yourself at least 2 plus hours. There are tours that will take you from downtown but we took an uber as knew we wanted to spend more time. About a 30 plus minute drive. I would grab breakfast before you go.

Visiting Butchart Gardens was truly magical. Every corner of the gardens feels like a work of art, from the lush Sunken Garden to the vibrant Rose Garden and the serene Japanese Garden. The Italian and Mediterranean Gardens add even more charm with elegant statues and unique plantings. Walking through the grounds, you can feel the history and vision behind the space, making it both peaceful and inspiring. A beautiful and unforgettable destination on Vancouver Island, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a full afternoon of exploration.

My great aunt suggested we attend Butchart Gardens and we are so glad we when! Even though it rained a bit while we were there, the fall colors were so beautiful and it was such a wonderful experience. So neat to admire the creativity of those who started the gardens so long ago and those who continue to make this place so special. We also enjoyed high tea while there and highly recommend!

Butchart Gardens is absolutely breathtaking and a must-visit when in Victoria. Every corner feels like stepping into a painting, with colorful blooms, peaceful pathways, and beautifully maintained landscapes. The Japanese Garden and Rose Garden are especially stunning, offering so many perfect photo spots. It’s a place where you can slow down, take in the fresh air, and just enjoy nature at its best. Fantastic day out. Three thrills in one 😂😂. The view from the bridge down into the valley are amazing, the only place you cannot stop is on the stairs on or off the bridge. Then follows the tree top walk. This was beautifully lit with twinkle lights. It is a bit of a climb up but well worth it. Then we did the cliff walk which again had fantastic views. The park was prepared for Halloween so the decoration was lovely. Well worth the trip and a free shuttle bus to/from Canada Place.

Such a gorgeous place!! One of my girlfriends and I drove up for a girls weekend and had such a wonderful time visiting the park! We got lucky and had the opportunity to visit while they have all of their Halloween decorations up and it was amazing! Definitely put us in a festive mood. All of my encounters with staff were great, everyone is so friendly and seems happy to be there, and the park is so organized and clean. Definitely worth a visit!

We were amazed just at the entrance to this place. You know that scene on Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring? Picture the forest kingdom of Lothlórien and the Woodland Realm in Mirkwood. Too bad they didnt incorporate this into their builds. But I really appreciate the care and hardworking that went into all elements of this place. Definitely recommend going at an hour before dusk because the lighting that has been incorporated would be so amazing. I wanted to come back at night to see it but for the price was a little steep. I would recommend to mgt to allow passes to be used from opening to closing each day. The admission was so worth it, a must see!! Take your kids, but the main attraction of the Capilano Suspension bridge is not for the faint of heart or the person afraid of heights.

Nice, well built and interesting place. Went during the halloween period so it was quite fantastic to see how it was decorated. They definitely didn’t skimp out on the decorations so it was quite a surprise to see how extensive and well embellished the entire park was. The gift shops are nice, and the choices for food isn’t too much so I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Either way, despite being a little pricey, I think it is still quite a lovely visit.

I visited the park today and had the best time! Its absolutely beautiful and a must see for anyone who comes to Canada. A huge shout out to the amazing tour guide Diancy (I'm so sorry if I've spelt that wrong) who knew her stuff! Every question I had about the trees, or the forest, she was able to answer in great detail. She was super friendly and really made the tour feel extra special. Over all the whole experience was amazing!

The place is amazing. I really had a lot of fan. I was there close to Halloween, and the park was fully decorated. Everything very cleaned and organised. It's definitely worth to visit. There is a free shuttle that leaves Canada Place and stop on different hotels along the way.

My girl and I got our BC residents pass and wow what an amazing unforgettable experience! It’s absolutely stunning at night with the Halloween theme. The tree top bridges are my favourite! So many sites to see in a beautiful area. This place is so well taken care of and designed perfectly. Cannot wait to come back I’m so excited to go again:)

It's an excellent place to visit as long as it's not too busy. On the smaller side compared to other aquariums I've been to but there's lots of small exhibits for the animals they take care of. Definitely recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid the crowds, and if you live in the area, maybe consider buying a yearly membership as it pays for itself after 2-3 visits and the single day passes are very expensive.

A fantastic experience! The staff were really friendly, there is a lot of variety of animals and things to see, plus the facts to each exhibit are really interesting and fun to read! The gift shops are really cool, it is really easy to buy too many things! I would love to visit again

A decently sized aquarium. I would say you can expect to spend up to three hours here. Be sure to catch the Sea Lion show and the 4D movie. As for parking, I was able to get a great spot by arriving about 40 minutes before opening. They actually let us in before the official opening time, which was a nice bonus. I found the aquarium more memorable than the one in Seattle. Being situated inside Stanley Park is also a big plus. As a heads-up, if you’re visiting with multiple people, it may be more cost-effective to purchase a Platinum Membership rather than individual tickets.

An impressive and well designed aquarium featuring a diverse collection of marine life and reptiles. While the building isn’t huge, it’s perfectly sized for an excellent experience where you can explore and learn about different kind of species from around the world.

Fantastic experience! The Vancouver Aquarium is beautifully maintained, educational, and full of incredible marine life. Perfect for families and ocean lovers. Parkind could be tricky on busy days. Plan ahead to spend time and watch every exibit without missing any.

Loved the aquarium! Entrance wasn’t cheap but was able to spend several hours here, could easily spend the whole day here as there’s timed programs like the imax and the wet lab etc.

Located inside Stanley Park, this is a nice aquarium with many animal species. There are many fishes that we had never seen before. Apart from the friendly seals, they don't have anything large or monstrous, if you are looking for that. They keep good care of the animals. Even nook & corners of the enclosures were being cleaned. We were a bit surprised that they are one of the largest as we were done with the tour within 2 to 3 hours, so it's not a day spend.

A truly excellent museum with a wide variety of engaging exhibits. When I visited, there was an interactive exhibit on protest music that was fascinating, and the section on local ecology and geography was very informative. The diorama of the city in the early 1900s is top-notch and really brings the past to life. Be sure not to miss the exhibit on native languages — although small, it’s incredibly meaningful and I wish there had been more of it. Outside, the totem poles on the East lawn are a highlight and well worth the time. Overall, a place that combines history, culture, and education beautifully.

Highly recommended! You can see a precious mammoth specimen here. Other animal exhibits are very lifelike, and the displays recreate the animals’ natural habitats. Visiting this place gives you a great understanding of Vancouver’s history, local wildlife, environment, and culture. The lady at the front desk was very friendly — I’m really glad I came to visit!

Employees on strike day we visited so Imax & some areas closed. Museum did not live up to the hype. Second floor natural history displays were poorly lit, hard to read and some videos not working. Disappointing. Best exhibits were on third floor, and covered history of India's manufacturing Chintz. When you see what was involved, you can't not be impressed. Many significant totems, worth seeing. Price of admission reasonable, worth seeing. Excellent gift store and cafe.

If you want to know more about British Columbia this is the place. You will learn about its fauna and flora, about its people, places and influences. I was completely blown way by the room Our living languages ,where you can learn and listening to the indigenous dialects, and the reproduction of the early 19th century town. Quite impressive. Save at least 2h for the visit. I was there all morning. The museum is also home of the Imax cinema. It has a café, souvenir shops and toilets.

I haven't been here in about 30 years and it is much smaller than I remembered. The Johnathan Hunt House and Old Town displays were interesting and well presented. I thought there was a lot more indigenous art on display the last time I visited and was very disappointed. John Lennon's Rolls-Royce was a cool surprise.

Had a great visit with my partner and our toddler. The Music of Resistance exhibit is incredible - go if you can and learn about activism and music in BC and around the world. Lots of cool memorabilia. Unfortunately, the indigenous language exhibit is closed, which was a real let down - its our family's favorite.

During our visit, most of the areas were closed due to renovations, and we weren’t informed about it when we purchased our tickets, which didn’t feel fair. That said, the sections we did get to see were amazing, and I hope we can explore the rest on our next trip

Trail Series, Part 40 Running was never meant to be easy, so many runners choose a phrase to help motivate them. Some of my favorites include: “No matter how slow you go, you are still lapping everybody on the couch”; “I don’t run to add days to my life, I run to add life to my days”; “The miracle isn’t that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start”; “My sport is your sport’s punishment”; “This isn’t sweat, it’s liquid awesome”; and “Do it for the post-run snack”. It was during a recent run along the Stanley Park Seawall Path in Vancouver, Canada, that I discovered a different motivational technique. Rather than repeating a single phrase to keep you going, how about excitedly striding from one motivational expression to another? You see as this trail winds itself around magnificent Stanley Park, it is replete with benches adorned with a seemingly endless number of deeply personal plaques that broadcast both remembrances and some pretty keen life advice. I stopped more than 150 times during my run and I’d estimate that I photographed only 50% of the benches that are available to enjoy. 🤯 My favorite plaques include: “What a beautiful difference one single life made”; “To the world you were just one, to me you were the world” 🥹; “She lived for those she loved, and those she loved remember”; “How small a part of time we share”; “People and places have touched me so, left a mark on my mind, heart & soul. Thank you Lord, it’s been a great ride”; “Loving Masterchef who taught how to savor the flavors of life”; and “Just a Godly man who so loved his four wonderful daughters”. This outstanding trail is approximately 6 miles long, flat, and entirely paved. It features numerous dramatic curves that create excitement to discover what might be revealed just around each corner. Those with mobility issues will find it extremely accommodating and a separate lane for cyclists creates a safe path for all outdoor enthusiasts. This is the spot highly recommended to get the best downtown Vancouver skyline views from. The spot is easily accessible by foot, on bicycle, or by driving on a vehicle. The views both at sunrise, during the day, and at sunset are really worth the visit. There are quite a few other landmarks and attractions on this side of the Stanley Park as compared to the other side. A paid parking lot is close by, while on foot this point is barely a 15 minute walk from the closest bus stop. A must visit spot whenever in downtown Vancouver.

The seawall is always a joy to explore—whether on foot, bike, or a casual jog. It features some of the most scenic views of downtown, framed by lush greenery and waterfront. The path is well-equipped with restrooms, benches, and parking, making it an easy and comfortable outing. I suggest biking the full loop at least once to take in the diverse views—cityscape, North Shore mountains, ocean, and beaches all in one ride.

If I lived in Vancouver, I would be here at least 3 times a week. I would be walking, running or going for a ride. Beautiful views, fresh air, so serene...I can't even describe it ❤️❤️❤️

Great (and challenging) hike up, but well worth the effort. Awesome views at the top. Check out the grizzly refuge, and if lucky see some colourful local birds. If you hike up the return gondola is only $25, compared to $87 for mountain admission (non resident)

We were visiting BC from the Prairies, so a gondola ride was a must! Picking one was tricky though — they all seemed a bit overpriced. We ended up choosing Grouse Mountain because of their discounted evening ticket, which felt like a good way to experience the views without breaking the bank. As expected, most of the daytime activities were closed by then, but they looked fun and worth checking out if you come earlier in the day. The ride up on the smaller gondola was smooth and enjoyable. The ride down on the larger Skyride, however, was a bit of a letdown — it was crowded, and we had to wait quite a while for it to fill before it departed. That said, the evening walk around the top was beautiful. There was lots to see, and we were lucky enough to spot deer just roaming around — and the bears were super cool to see up close! Even without all the attractions running, it was a great experience overall. Worth it for the views and wildlife alone.

Grouse Mountain was a great disappointment to me. I was expecting breathtaking mountain scenery like what you see in Banff Alberta but to be fair the weather wasn’t great that day- it was rainy and foggy the whole time, which really limited the views. To be honest, I didn't feel like I got to experience the mountain's natural beauty, I don’t even think there was any mountain The Gondola ride was just there never got a chance to experience lumberjack show, the wildlife viewing was limited to just 2 grizzly bears. Considering the high price point, I felt like It didn’t worth the hype. Maybe I will have to visit when the weather is better to appreciate this place.

I visited Grouse Mountain National Park recently, and it turned into quite an unexpected adventure. The day started with an unplanned downpour, heavy rain combined with poor visibility and strong winds meant most of the attractions were closed. Honestly, they should have halted ticket sales on a day like this, because literally everything was shut except for a few core offerings. When I arrived, only the gondola was operational, which thankfully gave some beautiful views despite the fog. The main restaurant was open, and I did get to see the bears in their enclosure, which was a highlight. The rest of the activities and shows — the lumberjack show stage, zipline, hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, wildlife talks, and chairlifts were closed due to weather conditions. Even the secondary eateries and shops were shuttered. One important tip: check the weather forecast before visiting. Grouse Mountain offers a range of outdoor experiences, but rain and wind can shut down almost all of them. On a clear day, you can easily spend 3–4 hours exploring everything from hiking trails to ziplining, grizzly bear viewing, dining, and panoramic mountain scenery. I just wish they had been more upfront about the closures instead of charging full price. Parking isn’t free, so plan for that in your budget. Even with the closures and weather challenges, riding the gondola up and seeing the bears made it a memorable trip. On a sunny day, I’m sure it would be absolutely spectacular. ** They have Starbucks on site ** During rain, Gondola glass gets foggy and drops don’t slide down - there’s literally no visibility to the scenery outside.

Great moderate hike. It’s essentially a couple miles of stairs but that makes for a great workout. I drank a couple bottles of water (1.5 l). I saw a guy who looked in distress and gave him some water. There’s also a water station in the gondola center. Very nice views on top. It’s a one way hike. You have to take a different route down or the gondola down. You can get gondola tickets at a discount online. Nice views on top. There’s also a couple of bears you can check out and a zip line. Best to make an appointment for the zip line.

Wow, wow, wow—words can’t even describe how incredible the views are! If it’s your first time in Vancouver, Grouse Mountain is an absolute must. Definitely get the day pass—you’ll have access to all the shows and free activities. The grizzly bears and owls were super cool to see, and we even spotted a wild elk on our way down the ski lift! On a clear day, the views are just breathtaking—it’s honestly hard to believe how beautiful it is up there. Also, there’s a free shuttle bus that runs between Canada Place and Grouse Mountain, which makes getting there so easy. Highly recommend—don’t miss it!

Wow,.id 😁 recommend doing the grind trail to the top,.it's well worth the cake and the gondola ride down at the top. The hike will take 1-2 hours depending on your fitness, head up the first 20-30 steps... if you can't continue that for 1-2 hours turn back. There's some step sections towards the last 3/4 scrambling etc so beware.

Visited the Flyover Canada and did the Iceland Flyover. The ride cost about 32CAD discounted for BC residents. There is a short 6 minutes show before the ride.. I did not find the intermission show interesting at all. It seems they tried to make it kids friendly but even the kids doesn’t look interested. The storyline feels disconnected. After the intermission, visitors are led to the room with the rides. It was not a full room, there were vacant sits. The actual probably took amount 10 minutes (maybe less?). The show was interesting and I enjoyed it, although thee are a lot of room for improvements. It s supposed to be a sensory ride but it was missing the sensory effects. The mist was very milk and almost nothing, would also be nice if there will be strong cold or hot air, or some fragrance. The entire experience including intermission was about less than 30 minutes ( maybe about 20) which was quite an expensive for the price. Although I enjoyed the experience, I don’t think it’s worth the price. If you are tight on budget, I would not recommend this ride. This is expensive if doing it with family. Video recording was not allowed inside so I was not able to record the experience.

Had a wonderful time visiting the Flyover. All the team members are friendly and professional. We did both offerings- Canada and Iceland.It's really amazing to feel like you're soaring through the sky! If you arrive early there's a snack shop and gift shop. Great selection to choose from too. There's also a pic you can purchase to commemorate your visit. Try it next time you are at Canada place. BTW, if you need assistance with accessibility you can easily be accommodated. There's elevators if you have trouble with climbing stairs.

I recently went to FlyOver Canada in Vancouver, and honestly, it was absolutely stunning and mesmerizing. The ride itself feels incredibly real, you really get the sensation of flying over some of Canada’s most breathtaking landscapes, like the Rockies and the vast wilderness. The visuals are spectacular, and the effects like mist, wind, and even scents totally make the experience feel immersive and unforgettable. It’s the kind of adventure that’s great for all ages and really shows off the beauty of Canada from a unique perspective. One thing I noticed though is that the pre-show introduction could be handled better. Everyone ended up standing around, which made it tough to see the screen if you’re seated and especially if you’re disabled, you don’t get the best visibility unless you’re right up front. It was a bit frustrating and could be more organized to make sure everyone can see comfortably. But once the actual ride started, all those little issues disappeared. The flight was mesmerizing and completely captivating from start to finish. I highly recommend taking some pictures after the ride at the gift shop to remember the experience. Overall, it was unforgettable and definitely worth doing if you are visiting Vancouver. It’s a perfect mix of technology and storytelling that really brings Canada to life in the most incredible way.

Totally recommend this! I’ve lived in Vancouver for years and just tried FlyOver Canada — way better than I expected. The visuals are stunning and it really feels like you’re flying. Great for families or just a fun outing. Plus, there’s a discount for BC residents — just bring some ID! I’ll definitely be back when they rotate the films.

Staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to answer questions, which made the check-in process easy and stress-free. 👏🏼 💡 Tips for Visitors: 🗺️ The ticket station is located right by Canada Place, making it easy to find. 💳 It’s cheaper to buy tickets online, and if you hold a BC driver’s license (proof of residency), you can also enjoy discounted rates. 🥤 Drinks are not allowed inside the building, so avoid buying a big drink before entering—you won’t be able to bring it in.

This ride is the only one of its kind in greater Vancouver. The experience overall (including the mini film inside, lining up, the ride) lasts about 30 minutes, but the actual ride itself is about 10 minutes. My only complaint is the price is pretty steep for an attraction that is so brief.

We went to the HowlOver Canada ride for Halloween. The decorations were well done and the "spooky" animations during the ride itself were funny. Wish it could have been a little bit longer. Fortunately, we also did another ride that had absolutely stunning visuals. So worth it.

Northern Expedition from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. What an amazing ship, the service is amazing. We didn’t spare any expense we booked a cabin that came in handy we caught a couple of hours sleep once the ship left Port. The aurora lounge we booked and it’s private seating from the rest of the ship the views from there are phenomenal. The food on this ship is a different menu than other BC Ferries I had a really nice prime rib dinner it was top notch and a HUGE piece of prime rib. Once it was dark we caught a movie in the theatre, it was a comfy movie theater. One thing I think BC Ferries should improve on is the gift shop, we would have liked to buy patches for our motorcycle jackets with BC Ferries Northern Expedition on them, people would be interested in buying t-shirts with Northern expedition, hats, so on, personalize the gift shop more and even some souvenirs from the stops we did like bells bella. Other than the gift shop, this adventure was total worth it! my dad told me about this trip years ago and happy we did it. My fiancée and I rode our Harley from Prince Rupert on hwy 16 ( The Highway of tears 🙏❤️) to Prince George on Highway 97 down the Fraser Canyon up to Sea to Sky Squamish and Whistler and Saturday we’re taking tsawwassen ferry to duke point and riding back home to Port Alberni the end of our 12 day journey. I must thank BC ferries staff Chief Steward Krystal Holm her Sister in law Nina, Engineer Mark McEachern you guys made this journey so much more special thank you 🙌❤️

Amazing experience with BC Ferries! Everything was smooth, clean, and well-organized. Staff were very helpful, changes to our reservation were easy, and the views were absolutely stunning. Highly recommend booking before 6:30 to catch the best scenery! 🌅

I'm going to have to tell my niece that she's going to have to move out and get a job because according to BC ferries, she's considered an adult at 12 years old. Plus, they've discovered how to make people pay more while offering the exact same product. They have the same number of spots, but now they've started playing the reservation game so you have to pay an extra $20 every time you go otherwise you might have to wait two extra sailings. I've been taking these for years and never saw a problem with just getting to the ferry and waiting your turn. Most of the time you would just catch the next ferry. If there's more people taking them now then they need more ferries, it's simple.

Ferry rides are good and their effort to combat the BMW/Mercedes/Lexus car alarms (90% the culprits) has been noticed and appreciated. The hardest part is waking up extra early for the sailings, which are always convenient and useful, not because I'm nervous about missing the sailing but so I have enough time to get breakfast elsewhere so I don't have to spend $45+ for my wife and I on coffee and breakfast sandwiches that barely pass as edible. My biggest (constructive?) feedback To BC Ferries is to ditch White Spot and upgrade their food quality for breakfast and the rest of the day.

BC Ferries is such an essential part of life in BC, and overall, they do a great job connecting the islands. The ships are clean, comfortable, and the staff are consistently friendly and professional. Boarding and sailing are usually smooth, and I really enjoy the scenic views from the deck, it’s one of the most beautiful commutes in the world. Food options have improved, though prices can be a bit high and delays do happen occasionally. Still, it’s a unique experience that feels very “West Coast,” and I appreciate the service they provide.

Well, they make you leave your cats behind in the car despite having a reservation, not being over height or over length, and arriving at the terminal right in the middle of the recommended window of time for reservations. The options of sitting in a tiny pet room on the upper car deck with other animals or dogs (love dogs - but oddly enough my cats do not), or freezing together on the outer deck in November are just not good enough. There's absolutely no way to indicate you have pets or affect where you end up on the ferry despite doing everything "right" with reservations, and the facilities provided are just not adequate. Do better.

If you are a tourist and not reliant on this company on a regular basis I would say crossing from Victoria to Vancouver or one of the gulf islands can be a nice experience. Make sure you plan ahead regarding scheduling on most routes. It’s a good way to check out the scenery of the south coast that other wise might be tough to do. However if you rely on this company for regular travel they are dreadful. Mechanical break downs and scheduling delays are a regular occurrence. They rarely have enough sailings in the day and most often reservations are required, which adds 15 to 20% in additional fees. The food onboard is mediocre at best and the staff are less than enthusiastic in most cases. If there were any other option I would take it. That said the views can be spectacular.

Gorgeous scenery. The drive up from Vancouver is worth the trip alone. Massive amounts of terrain. Great snow at the top of the mountain. Awful visibility mid mountain. Slushy at the bottom of the mountain. Village is really great. Went in March. I would definitely go again.

I went during the summer and it was amazing. The scenery is breathtaking with so many hiking and biking trails to explore. Even without the snow the mountains are stunning and the village has a lot of shops, restaurants, and spots to just relax. Staff are friendly and the whole place is well maintained. Definitely a year round destination and one of the best resorts you can visit.

I had the chance to visit Blackcomb Whistler Ski last year, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had on the slopes. The scenery is breathtaking, the facilities are excellent, and everything feels very well organized. That said, as a beginner, I found the runs a bit challenging. Even the green slopes felt more like blue ones compared to other ski resorts I’ve been to. Still, it was a great learning experience, and I’d definitely recommend it for those who are looking for both adventure and stunning mountain views. With a bit more practice, I’d love to go back and enjoy it even more!

This place is a Dream destination for skiing! The snow quality is fantastic, white & powdery ,the slopes are well-groomed, and the scenery is absolutely stunning. Our full day here was worth spending. The management was also very good.

The Peak 2 Peak Gondola is an amazing experience; It starts at Whistler Mountain, takes you to Blackcomb Mountain, and from there you can take another gondola to a different peak before heading back down. The gondola between the peaks is huge, and the blue cabins have glass floors so you can see the valley below. At the top, there are restaurants and cafes, and you might spot Groundhogs. Even in summer, there’s snow and it’s cold, so be sure to bring warm clothes.

Whistler Blackcomb is awesome. I love the fact you can ski during the winter and then buy a very affordable Epic pass to Access the trekking trails and gondola during the summer. Also the Sunday farmers markets are great! Visit "Cows" for the best mint chocolate chip ice cream ever (they have other flavours too if you don't fancy mint) and Portobello at the Fairmont for real belgian chocolate mochas & hot chocolates ! Whistler is dreamy indeed.

Whistler is an incredible place for both snowboarding and biking. I’ve visited in different seasons, and I’m always impressed by the staff, the facilities, and how well everything is maintained. There are lots of trails across both mountains, making it great for all levels—from beginners to pros. Safety is clearly a priority, with support staff always around. While the sports can be pricey, Whistler often has great deals and seasonal passes. I just wish there were more flexible options for frequent visitors. I love this place and will definitely keep coming back.

Very busy but beautiful spot to explore. The float homes are all so cute but I feel terrible that the residents have to deal with such big crowds. We were in and out in after 1-1.5 hrs, great spot for lunch on the water.

Beautiful spot in Victoria. A most visit attraction. Particularly in the weekend sometimes there is a local band playing nice music. Many different restaurants to choose from. It's also the departure point from whale watching trips and you can also take there the harbour taxi.

This is pretty. Unfortunately we were there on a rainy day. I like colors of shops and houses. I wonder what benefit private home owners get bit allowing visitors walk besides their homes? I do not think it is fun to live there were you would be on the public eyes all the time. I liked seeing houses, shops and water taxes, a pretty picture. We had fish and fries and I did not enjoy fish at all. It was fish with very bland batter and was not tasty at all atheist for me. Overall it is a mist visit place for sure.

Lovely place with colourful buildings on the water. In the place you can see restaurants, ice cream shop, galleries and houses. There are public washrooms in the place. Really nice atmosphere. Next to the place there is a big lawn and small playground. There is a pay parking lot and free parking spots on the street. Highly recommended to visit here.

Beautiful place to spend the entire day with friends and family. They offer kayaking and whale watching experiences. There are a few food joints, but I wish there were more varieties available specifically for vegetarian.

Lovely walking path with numerous places you can hike down to the water easily. Beach is filled with smooth rocks of various sizes. Just a delightful place to get some fresh air and enjoy the beauty.

Perhaps I've seen too little, but this park is the only place I've visited that has free-ranging peacocks. Of course, there are many other interesting wildlife besides peacocks. It's just blissful to hang out in the park and see all the animals and plants.

Beautiful park in the middle of downtown Victoria. There is a lot to see and a lot of tranquil pathways to tread through. I'm surprised that this park hosts peacocks, and they can climb trees! Amenities are plentiful, including several washrooms and two playgrounds. There is no shortage of parking spaces in and around the park as well. Definitely a great place to spend time in Victoria.

I love this park a lot! If you want to take a peaceful break from the daily grind, this park won't disappoint. There are ponds, fountains, ducks, geese, swans, peacocks, squirrels, deer and turtles! Green spaces and beautiful fauna and flora abound! There are washrooms and playgrounds for the kiddos, and lots of benches for weary accompanying adults. The only thing that Beaconhill really lacks is a designated off leash area for dogs (thus the loss of one star). That part I don't understand at all. Downtown Victoria is WOEFULLY lacking in off leash dog parks!!

A nice city park with many ponds, biking path and access to a beach. There were cute features around the park. I didn't see any homeless camps. The children's farm seemed clean ( walked passed by it and didn't smell anything). This park is accessible by a couple infrequent busses and about 25 minutes walk to downtown.

A really stunning and well kept park. Went on a walk and really enjoyed all of the plants and wildlife. There is a trail around the park and lots of nice flowers and statues around to see. It was relatively quiet and not too busy during the afternoon. Overall a nice place to kill some time if you are waiting for the ferry which is about fifteen minutes away.

I remember coming here about 11 years ago, it’s a very nice place. Lots of beautiful plants to look at, and animals such as ducks, geese, and even peacocks gather here and you are welcome to feed them bread. An amazing experience I would recommend to anyone visiting this town.
