First, the intake process was very easy and quick; we were able to review menus and have all our questions answered before booking. Tyler from the catering department was incredibly kind and patient with us as we adjusted our headcount even days leading up to the wedding. Tyler handled the process of ordering our rentals (they partner with a warehouse) and he coordinated getting us extra supplies we needed from the restaurant like glassware and an outdoor heater (which was above and beyond). The restaurant also did a fantastic job at our final tasting; multiple staff who knew they'd be at our wedding introduced themselves to us and brought us plenty of food to sample (we basically got to try everything). As for the food, our guests were blown away at the rehearsal dinner with the filet mignon, which was cooked beyond perfectly (they didn't even ask us how we wanted it done, but got it perfect). I may have had some of the best tomato soup in my life as the starter - everyone loved it. For our reception the next day we had a BBQ spread with ribs, chicken, mac and cheese, dirty rice, and bread/salads. They also easily provided the vegetarians with plant-based meals that they loved. We had so many people tell us that this was the best wedding food they've had all year - even the vendors raved about it! The servers were all fantastic, they gave me (the bride) extra attention and I felt well taken care of. But the biggest and most valuable part of this venue is absolutely the event coordiantor, Saray McCombs. I cannot say enough about her and I can promise you, it was her who made the most important day of my life absolutely perfect. No stress. No worrying. I actually got to enjoy my big day, because of her. So when we first toured this place there was a different event coordinator who had been there for years and years so my husband and I felt very comfortable and confident. After several months of no replies to emails, we finally found out (4 months before our wedding) this woman had quit and there was someone new. We were devastated. And unfortunately at that time, we let Saray know that and that we were worried because she was brand new to this venue at the time. Not only did she validate my feelings but she immediately started to build a rapport with me by expressing understanding and then talking with me to figure out how to best make me comfortable and make my big day perfect. She literally made me feel completely confident in her within our first conversation because it was so clear how passionate and dedicated she was to the job. The flowers and foliage made for such a picturesque setting and an incredible outdoor wedding. We also had the reception/dinner in the courtyard area and the food was absolutely incredible! There was a great menu to choose from when selecting the options for the wedding, and everything was so delicious; the chicken marsala was our favorite. Chef Matt and his team had so many great options. We had so many guests compliment how great the food was! The courtyard area also made for a great outdoor dance area, as the dance floor was outside and was lit with string lights, which made for a great setup for the dancing and even cornhole and fire pits. Every guest had something to do – whether it was dancing on the dance floor, playing cornhole, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit, or hanging by the bar. The night went too fast, and everything was incredible and so smooth. We were also able to take other wedding photos throughout the property and made for some incredible wedding photos. There are plenty of scenic spots around the venue that made for some memorable photos! The Staff: The staff were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and were a huge help on our wedding day. Stephanie worked incredibly hard to make our big day a huge success – from helping us plan and making great recommendations and ideas for logistics, help with identifying the value items to help us save money, venue setup and decorations, to even running a grilled cheese bar towards the end of the night! These grilled cheeses were a HUGE HIT that sent a lot of guests home extremely happy!
