Have to say it's a great little trail to be so close to an urban area. While it's well thought out and maintained, NW portion in the wooded area (west of the Governor's Mansion) isn't well marked as there are many criss-crossing paths that can easily confuse you. You'll have to count on the terrain to help exiting out. Otherwise, they've done and continue to do a fine job here. EDIT 10.29.24. A couple of years ago I had to quit walking the entire circle from 6th up to the mansion and down to the ponds due to the new finer size gravel placed at the NE corner area as it's too thick and loose. It slides around and just makes it difficult to walk on (for me anyway). I went back earlier this month to see if it had packed down...nope.
