We went on the 2nd of January and sadly the streak of 40 days of seeing something was broken that day. It was a beautiful day, fun to explore, learning about the potholes in the water, and learning that sometimes it's just not meant to be. After being invited to return a second time, it was so eventful with both kids and wildlife to see. We saw dolphins, fly fish, a hammerhead shark, schools of fish and movement of a potential shark feeding. Jamie, Taylor and Emily Dee definitely delivered with a sense of humour, fantastic service both above and below while allowing people to drive the boat as well. Would definitely recommend taking a trip with an open mind and a lot patience as it truly is worth it.

Both times the crew were fantastic. The crew were very efficient and attentive and bought people blankets when they were cold. They also worked hard to spot dolphins for us to see and they ended up finding a pod of dolphins that we followed around for an hour or so which was absolutely magical.

It was a blessed day! The day started beautifully with no swells at all. This helped us get out to where we needed to be. In almost no time (10am) at all we were amongst the dolphins and it was spectacular! We also got to see a pod of orcas on the way back and a seal and a couple of penguins. Thank you to our Skipper, Brandon and also to Josh. They are so passionate and are always keeping an eye out to spot these majestic creatures. The boat is a great size with almost a 360 view and the facilities were always kept clean. If you booking a day out I would highly recommend Bay Explorer!!
