I was denied compensation as it was a collection order, how is the process of receiving incorrect items any different than if I collected or delivered, it is the staffs responsibility to ensure accuracy of orders, not the consumers. Unfortunately unless I am fairly compensated, I don't think I will be coming here again, which is a shame as all prior orders were excellent and this is my favourite curry house in Droitwich.

The mains eventually came after a half hour wait and at this point it was busy, I had the festive chicken burger and my wife had the Xmas dinner but opted for turkey, of which her Broccoli was forgotten and she had to go up to mention it as we never got table checked until after she went up, and even then we were told "they had run out", which should've been mentioned upon ordering or when served. The main food itself was dry for me and the chips were clearly overcooked with what was a light dusting of sage and onion seasoning, no effort to distribute it about my fries at all. The burger was very dry and definitely needed more sauce. My wife's chicken was OK but she found it very salty, the veg was overcooked (the peas were almost brown) and the "roast" potatoes were nothing more than frozen deep fried mistakes. We did order dessert but after waiting a further 30mins and wanting to go elsewhere my wife went up to remove our dessert options and pay the bill, the waitress was bringing our options over but we said we didn't have time and wanted them removed. We're 95% sure this wasn't done but forgot to get a receipt as we just wanted to leave. Overall a terrible experience and after our failings at both Hickories AND The Bluebell recently it's safe to say we will be completely boycotting anything Pub Chain owned restaurant own from now on.

From arrival to departure, we were made to feel welcome, by everybody from the boss to the cleaning lady - who even invited us to her post wedding party! The chips were greasy, soggy and luke warm, battered cod was overcooked and greasy.
