Oyster Club is a restaurant and raw bar. Their style cuisine is farm and sea to table; the menu is seasonal and changes often. The ingredients are fresh and local. The chef is a James Beard semifinalist. They also serve brunch on the weekends.
In the warmer months, there is a treetop dining upstairs. It's on a deck with beautiful views of the water. It is self serve, you have to order at the counter and pick up your food. The menu is Mexican food inspired. We were going to do this option but it was a very hot day.
We had a great experience inside the restaurant. The service was attentive. We started off with some margaritas, half a dozen of fresh oysters, and I had the oyster Rockefeller (baked oysters with creamy spinach, bread crumbs, and cheese) for my meal. The food was fresh and tasty. I look forward to going back and also checking out their treetop dining!

I saw this place on TikTok and wanted to give it a try and it definitely did not disappoint. We were sat on the bar side right in front of the cooks which I actually enjoyed! I ordered Oysters and Will the person that was chucking the oyster gave us a presentation and a demonstration on everything which I truly enjoy. Shout to Will for that. Colleen. I recently discovered a must-visit restaurant in Mystic during the summer. After camping in Mystic, my husband and I were craving a delightful dining experience with our furry friend. Coincidentally, they had opened up the Treehouse, a charming establishment serving Mexican cuisine. The food was exceptional, and the cocktails were equally delectable. After reading the other reviews on goggle I had very high expectations, but it was underwhelming to say the least. We started off with a dozen of their HH oysters and their HH cocktail which were very good. We later ordered their NE clam chowder, mussels with sourdough bread, and steak frites. The mussels were quite good but the $8 sourdough bread add-on for 4 pieces of bread and butter felt sparse. The butter was barely touched as the sauce from the mussels was plenty. The calm chowder was refreshing but not as thick as a typical chowder. The dish that really ruined the experience were the steak frites. We ordered the steak medium rare and it came to us well-done. For the price point of the food and the quality that was received it was quite disappointing. I would recommend coming here for the oysters but avoid the steak frites.

We had an incredible experience at The Oyster Club! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was top-notch. Huge shoutout to Zachary M.—his service was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and full of excellent food recommendations that did not disappoint.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We were so satisfied with our meal that, unfortunately, we didn’t have room for dessert… but that just gives us the perfect excuse to come back!

This was kind of a last minute thing because a friend heard we were in this area and recommended it. It was about an hour before they closed, so there was no wait for the two of us. Everyone was super nice and helpful.
Someone else in the reviews mentioned that there’s street parking (very little, don’t rely on finding any) and there’s also a public lot about a block away (short walk slightly uphill to the restaurant). The restaurant validates an hour, which turned out to be a $5 credit, we stayed a little over an hour and a half and ended up paying like $10 still if I remember correctly.
My husband and I are NOT seafood people, which makes this restaurant an unusual choice for us. They do have non-seafood options but we both had a fairly heavy lunch so decided to try their fish dishes. The native catch that day was swordfish which my husband got, and I had the monkfish katsu (don’t look up what a monkfish looks like if you don’t already know 😅). Both were absolutely delicious. Dessert was an almond brown butter cake that was to die for. I’d love to return to try their other menu items someday.

Five of us had a wonderful evening at Go Fish. This was our first time at their new location. Creative and delicious Asian and Hawaiian inspired cocktails, sushi, appetizers and entrees. I’m Japanese and live in Hawaii so I am critical of restaurants serving sushi and Asian/Hawaiian dishes. We enjoyed the ahi, hamachi, hotate (scallop) and hirame (flounder) sushi along with gyoza dumplings and crab rangoon wontons appetizers. The raw seafood was fresh and delicately prepared. The dumplings and wontons cooked perfectly. Each of us really enjoyed our entree selections: drunken noodles, seared scallops, lobster fried rice, shrimp & veggie skewers and the halibut special. Each were deliciously seasoned and prepared perfectly. My drunken noodles was one of the best dishes I’ve had this year. A wonderful blend of Asian seasonings on the seafood and rice noodles. Prices are typical for Mystic restaurants of this quality.
The restaurant is spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. There’s a cozy outdoor seating areas with fire pits. Ample parking available on property.
They currently have specials every day, as well as a happy hour (pau hana) menu! We’ll be back for sure for happy hour and the Tuesday senior special.

I was expecting the usual tourist offering but was pleasantly surprised! The food was unique and delicious. Even the coffee & desserts we ordered were excellent. The decor is very tasteful. While on a road trip around the New England states we passed by Sea Swirl by chance while we were on the way to try a pizza place nearby.
We got the clam chowder and the lobster bisque cone. And WOW! It must have been my favorite bite during the the first leg of the trip. My family’s been going here forever! Always a great meal. Only watch out is that this place is not shellfish-allergy friendly (unless you want ice cream!) This was an amazing stop on our east coast road trip. We started with a steamed artichoke, steamed shrimp and some delicious clam chowder. Stopped at Abbott’s on our way home from a Rhode Island getaway. I was disappointed in the “lobster deviled eggs.” The amusingly teeny tiny dot of lobster certainly wasn’t worth the $3 up charge. We waited for the patio to open because it would have been a 2.5 hour wait for a table indoors. We ordered fish and chips (amazing) and sirloin, salad, French onion soup, and mashed potatoes. My steak wasnt cooked too correct temp, and was a little bland, but was still decent. Possibly you should order it medium rare if you want it medium cuz it was overcooked.

This place is great! I’m a big fan of lobster shacks and always try to stop at one when I get the chance. We found this spot while searching for a quick lunch during a drive and it turned out to be lovely. It’s clean and charming with no birds around the tables. They also run a fish market next door which is promising. Most of what we tried was excellent. The New England chowder was rich and delicious, we ordered it in a bread bowl but I’d go for a regular bowl next time since the bread soaked up too much of the soup. Just a personal preference. The clam fritters were amazing: crispy, very flavorful and perfect on their own without any dipping sauce. But the highlight of the meal was the salad with lobster. You can choose it cold or warm. We went with cold and it was incredibly fresh and a true generous portion. Absolutely worth it. The only disappointment was the steamed mussels which were a bit overcooked and served with unsalted clarified butter (why?). I wouldn’t recommend them. All in all a fantastic stop. I would go again.

This was a really nice place! Getting to it was through a little sketchy street but their entire property was very nice. We waited in line maybe 10 minutes on a Thursday afternoon but it felt quicker. The food was delicious! My only complaint was that I ordered the fried shrimp dinner (which says it comes with red potatoes or fries and coleslaw) and asked for no coleslaw. After a really disappointing breakfast in Mystic, my mom and I were hungry for some lunch. I did some googling and found this spot which looked like a good choice. We love having a water view and the large windows provided that. The inside was clean and modern and felt higher end. Our server, Olivia, was so friendly but professional. I decided to have the clam chowder and tuna tartare. I could have used a touch more soy for the tuna but both items were delicious. We also really liked the complimentary bread. Ordered the apple bbq wings and truffle fries to start. The wings were so savory and the fries were so crispy and the seasoning was to die for. My friend got the chicken bacon Alfredo and I got the turkey club. We added some of the truffle fry seasoning to his Alfredo and it was so good. We made a reservation and explored the menu the night before to make sure the restaurant would meet our needs because of our families dietary restrictions. We were not hotel guests but came to use the Red Door Spa. On their website they have a menu advertised as "All Day." This afternoon my wife and I took a day trip to the Groton-Mystic area and all points in between. Lunchtime we stopped in the Fisherman Restaurant at Long Pt. on 937 Groton Long Pt. Rd. in Groton, CT. Perfect timing for me, it was around 11:25 so the restaurant didn't have anyone seated great for taking pictures. I will say not too short;y thereafter the place had several parties seated. Very nice and clean restaurant, with absolutely beautiful views of Palmers Cove. Nice bright dining room with plenty od seating and decorated with numerous types of fish mounted on the walls. Enough about the logistics, down to business the food. we each started with a cup of clam chowder. Chowder had great taste and was a filling cup of thick chowder. My wife ordered a chopped salad with chicken, I ordered the seared tuna salad. My wife's salad was good according to her and she also said it was actually more than what she thought it was. my seared tuna salad was without doubt one of my top 10 lunch salads ever. nicely seared tuna slices seasoned just right, melt in your mouth. the rest of my salad was "shredded" carrots, sliced cukes, sliced avocado and a fresh lettuce in a sesame dressing with sliced almonds. Yummy Yummy it was great. The service was great, the atmosphere great and the food was great. I know it's a Wednesday afternoon in February, I can only imagine in the Summer trying to get a table for lunch or dinner. The views of the water and seeing the Amtrak train travel by what a great spot . We will be back for sure.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! As someone with a nut and shellfish allergy, it is crazy to say that this is my favorite place, but I truly mean it! I highly recommend trying these short ribs with their new IPA! The drink menu is great, and there are a lot of options on the menu to choose from. The view is always beautiful. Was looking for some good seafood and not wanting to drive in to Mystic and battle for parking. Glad we found this little gem. I had the lobster bisque, hubby had the clamp chowder, both were really good. We also split an appetizer and the scallops risotto which was good but the rice could have been cooked just a bit more. Would still recommend.

We had a large group of 20 tonight, and normally I wouldn’t review a restaurant based on that kind of visit since it can be tough to handle—but Fisherman at Longpoint nailed it from start to finish. Appetizers, dinner, and dessert all came out quickly, hot, and correct. Our waitress was fantastic—drinks were refilled without even asking and she kept everything moving smoothly.
The little neck clams are a must—sweet, fresh, and exactly what you hope for at a shoreline spot. Everyone at the table was happy with their meals, and that’s not easy with a group this size. Big thanks to the staff for making it such a great experience. Highly recommended.

We’ve been to this restaurant a few times in the last couple of years and it’s always been exceptional. Tonight’s dining experience exceeded our expectations, the view was nice overlooking the water, the food was phenomenal and the service was top notch! Kristen was extremely attentive, she was very friendly and made sure we had a wonderful time. We both ordered off the specials menu. I had the pan seared Halibut, Cliff had the Coconut crusted Swordfish. They were both exceptional, but the halibut definitely stole the show. We even got an extra portion to go. We will definitely be coming back again and want to thank everyone there was such a wonderful time.
