Micks is always our first choice for fish and chips. You can ring through and order but we just turn up - although it’s always busy, I’ve never had to wait long. Very disappointed with the service, quality and portion sizes recently. The service has been quite frankly bad, youngsters being rude and not listening to orders correctly. Too busy chatting to each other and not listening to the customer.
The chips have been poor and portion sizes have been getting much, much smaller. Food order has been wrong on more than one occasion, not what was ordered which is disappointing as the price is not cheap.
It is a shame to see this place going downhill. Now we will have to find another local chip shop.

Bad experience and poor service. Ordered a Pepperoni Jack Burger with extra cheese.
When it arrive no peppercorn sauce, no salad, no bacon jam so we phoned and were told another one would be sent. We asked for new fries as the original ones would be cold and this was acknowledged and agreed to.
After a wait the member of staff spoken to turns up with a new burger no extra cheese or bacon jam but the rest was there.She claimed the grey smear on the original burger contained the sauce and bacon jam although it was clearly neither. No chips were brought as she claimed she hadn't heard us ask despite answering in the call that she would bring them.
Will never order from here again, not because they got it wrong but because of the awful way they handled it afterwards.

I never leave bad reviews as I think contacting the restaurant directly is the best way to resolve any complaint regarding food standard.
However sadly I have had no option as the communication has been less than satisfactory with such a serious negligence. I got a takeaway delivered, first time using this outlet. The burger was raw, not pink but cold and raw. The chips were soggy as was the chicken burger. Sadly my partner didn’t realise it was raw until he felt the coldness inside as he has no taste buds. After trying to communicate with the restaurant immediately after and getting no response. I tried their email, constant calls to outlet then after 6 days messenger via social media. That got a response which was nothing short of unprofessional and with all evidence sent, still wouldn’t issue a refund and even questioned me why their food was raw. It left me puzzled and extremely frustrated. It is still ongoing but i think the safety of other consumers is foremost why I am now leaving this information.

This is only my own personal experience, many others may have had positive ones. Placed an order this evening, 90 minute wait for delivery, fair enough, its a weekend, I understand takeaways are busier. At the 20 minute late point, so almost 2hrs after order was placed, I was told the driver was "5 minutes away". Roll on the now 50 minute late point, I call again and am told the driver is "10 minutes away", it appears he's been driving away from my house?! I ask for the order to be cancelled, by the time it arrives it'll be 3hrs since I placed placed order so I'd like a refund. I was told "no", I begged their pardon, and was directed to get a refund from justeat. Then told to tell the driver to bring the food back, as they have 7 drivers out and they can't remember who had my order, heated exchange followed and I hung up.
Couple of things, no need to lie to your customers about where their order is, if its going to be late, say that, don't give it the 5 minutes away when it's more accurately an hour! And what takeaway service has 7 drivers and still can't deliver food on time, or for that matter know which of their drivers has what order. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion and has put a downer on what otherwise was a nice night in with my wife and children.
Personally, if I were you I'd avoid this place, and I'd rate it at less that one star if only possible!

Whilst it was warm, I would have liked to have seen more toppings. There were a few slices with just a single pepperoni and a single slice of green pepper. Went on a whim and ordered here despite my previous abysmal experience with Pizza Hut in Hayes. I was pleasantly surprised.
The first thing I noticed was the pizza had not been overcooked. The crust golden, like it had been soaking in the rays on a picturesque Caribbean beach. Perfectly moist and spongy as one would expect.
Secondly, the cheese was there. Usually I am second guessing myself, wondering if I had accidentally clicked the 'Extra Dough ' option when ordering, rather than extra cheese. Anyway, having a few slices with a bit less cheese, knowing you are going to reach those absolutely coated came as quite an exciting and almost tense ordeal.
The sauce was plenty ladled, and because the pizza wasn't overcooked, the toppings were juicy and tender. Remember, if we want pepperoni crisps we will just buy them from the shop.

The thing is this restaurant is enormous once you are inside and possibly the longest restaurant in Worthing.I had a vegetarian breakfast and although not haute cuisine I enjoyed it greatly. I know it’s a McDonald’s issue as I can see on the bag what the order should have, and it says just a cookie!? I ordered a whole meal and then you bring me a sealed empty bag.
