I’ve always loved this restaurant. They stay busy but the food is “SO” worth it. Incredible Italian cuisine has always been a personal favorite of mine. They usually have some type of special going on, but, (I have to say this), their breadsticks are essential with anything you order from here. They only enhance the meal. Officially, I rate this location at a 3.5. The prices are good, wait staff is friendly, eating at the bar or a table is equally good, and it is hearty food. Overall, I would recommend the pasta. Just be prepared for the Alfredo dishes to be heavier than you realize. The Chocolate Lasagna cake was a nice different something. To get to dessert, I recommend ordering the Toasted Ravioli with a side of Broccoli as it won't fill you up too fast. It's also nice to eat at a place with more options for nonalcoholic beverages.

We ordered the spicy bucatini shrimp and steak without shrimp. When it arrived at the table it had shrimp. She took it back to the kitchen and came back in about 1 minute with two bowls without shrimp. There is no way they didn't pick them out and bring it back.

This place... I am truly sorry to have discovered this place on a visit to Pensacola, instead of when I was stationed there. This has got to be my favorite Italian restaurant. The food was incredible, I went with the ravioli dish and had it extra spicy. It was delicious. The meatballs are impressive. Super tender and juicy. Cannoli shells made elsewhere but the cream filling was on point. It's been a long time since I've felt so stuffed and yet really wanted to keep eating. I took the leftovers home and warmed in the oven the next day for another meal, so I truly felt like I got my money's worth.

Bonelli’s is a fantastic family style Italian restaurant! Best Italian meal I’ve had in years. The service (shout out to Ashleigh) and atmosphere were outstanding and enhanced the dining experience.
I can’t imagine there’s a bad thing on the menu. Baked rigatoni and rigatoni with vodka sauce were both delicious but the pork-based Alfredo sauce was stunning!!! An unforgettable dish. Portions were massive, wine was great and the beer was on special.
Don’t eat here if you want a quick unremarkable meal. They take their time… like family.
Definitely eating here again next time we pass through Pensacola. I’ll probably dream about it next time I’m craving Italian.

We started our meal with an order of toasted ravioli. While the ravioli was good, it was the marinara sauce that truly stole the show—absolutely exceptional.
If you’re a seafood lover, the seafood pizza is a must-try. Perfectly cooked shrimp and calamari are a rare find, but this spot has mastered it. The pizza is fantastic! The Aloha pizza is another great option that’s definitely worth exploring.
For dessert, my wife and I each picked something different. The tiramisu was flavorful, but the triple chocolate cake was the standout, rich and indulgent.

After spending the afternoon painting with my kids, we decided to have pizza for dinner. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time.

We ate at Tuscan Oven twice while on vacation in Pensacola. The pizza was amazing, and they even accommodated our dietary needs.They have gluten free crusts but our children are also dairy free and they allowed us to bring our dairy free cheese and made the pizza with it. What a great little spot! Super friendly staff and servers. Went on a Monday night and it was fairly busy. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There are two patios both with umbrellas. Ordered a Greek salad and Athenian pizza. Both were delicious and prepared just as ordered. Their marinara is quite zesty with a umami kick. They have a large menu featuring pizza pasta sandwiches calzones desserts and salads. They also have a decent selection of beer and wines. Be sure and check out the various selections on the menu. We had really great service and as always the bread and salads were delicious but our main entrees were terrible. We had two different pastas with Alfredo sauce and it was the consistency of milk. First time here and we were looking for pasta! The waitress was prompt getting to our table and we asked loads of questions and Anastasia was so polite, kind and so helpful. She walked us through from drinks, appetizers, main course and dessert! Everything she suggested was so delicious.
The bread stack with cheese sticks was so yummy and the bread and seasoned olive oil were perfect. My wife had lasagna and it tasted great but was a little cooler than it should have been. The steak was made perfectly and potatoes were seasoned just right. I was so full I couldn’t even eat the spaghetti until the next day for lunch.

2 things about this place that were draw backs were both bathrooms needing tidied up and if you’re coming in from the 110 do not take the left at the stop light thinking you can turn right into the parking lot as the only thing you’ll do is get back on the 110. Go through the light then turn left into parking lot. Other than that, this place was incredible.

First off our waiter Sam was absolutely fantastic and he took the situation I’m about to write about very seriously and acted accordingly. My son ordered Chicken Parmigiana about five minutes into eating it he started grabbing the food out of his mouth with a look of complete horror. My husband and myself kept asking what was wrong but he was feeling his teeth and trying to deal with what was going on. When he was able to respond he said “mom there’s metal in my food” I grabbed the drink napkin he used and there was metal brush bristles sticking out of the chewed food!!! They wrapped it up and we threw it out the first garbage can we saw after leaving. I very calmly was trying to tell her how dangerous this was and he may or may not of swallowed pieces and she agreed with me but seemed like she just wanted to disassociate herself from the conversation I was trying to have about this absolutely unacceptable situation! She told us the kitchen staff had just cleaned the grill and the metal bristles came off on the grill and they were never cleaned off. So now I guess I wait to see if he did swallow any and if we have a very major situation on our hands! Today is 10/10 and we just left about 30min ago. A Mixed Plate at Angelina
Angelina offered a dining experience that left us with decidedly mixed feelings, especially considering the $220 tab for three, which included only three glasses of wine.
The arancini appetizer was a definite highlight, boasting a perfectly crisp exterior and a flavorful, tender interior. The fried artichokes were decent, but they certainly didn't transport us to Rome's Jewish Quarter.
For mains, the Doppio Ravioli with Chianti-braised short rib, despite being highly recommended, was a disappointment. The dish was overly complex, with flavors that clashed rather than complemented. I normally order from this Domino's. We order 2-3 times/month from this Domino's. Tonight's delivery was the WORST experience I've ever had! My pizzas took an hour and 40 minutes to be delivered. Their pizza tracker was stuck on quality check for 25 minutes. Based the quality of the pizza, there's no way this was accurate. When I called the store at an hour and thirty minutes, they apologized to me but said that this wait time was "normal," and that my pizzas would arrive in 10-15 minutes. So, fair warning. The pizza slices are huge. Its my first time here so i ordered the 2 slice lunch special, and an extra specialty slice. The knots with the special were excellent. We went for dinner on a Friday evening and it wasn't very busy. As soon as we entered the building we noticed it was extremely hot not just warm but hot. We had not been to Paisnos in a long time so we decided to stay since we were alredy there. Service was not that great. This is a little gem on the west side. Try the spinach artichoke dip- probably the best I’ve had. The pizzas and salads are also very good. The service is exceptionally friendly and the decor is actually one of the nicest for a causal dining place in Pensacola. Garlic Knots is the item to get here. They come out soft, oily and delicious. I also tried their meat Stromboli (small size) and the portion size was quite good. It filled me up. The Stromboli bread was also soft and oily. Overall, it wasn't too bad. I'll have to try one of their pizzas next time. I recommend giving this place a try. If you add fresh basil to a pie they don't send out one leaf per slice, but a chiffonade of fresh bright green basil all over. Add garlic and you taste real fresh garlic! Imagine. This was my first time and it was amazing. My cousins and I went at 6 pm and had about a 20 minute wait. When sat, our server greeted us, got our drinks, and gave time for us to look at the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. We got fried raviolis as an appetizer and they were great, hot and fresh. The marinara sauce is also really good. Was super excited to try this place after hearing so many great reviews. Ordered eggplant Parmesan spaghetti which came out with meat sauce (the menu did not say this, just said marinara sauce, and why would eggplant Parmesan come with meat sauce anyway). I would call it a true 4 star...but this is Pensacola, and it's among the best Italian I've found in the area...especially in a casual setting at a mid price point.
Outside, the fresh sod, blue lit trees, and torch lit driveway give a clean, simple, and uniquely attractive ambiance.
Inside, is a very relaxing decore with warm, mellow lighting, cozy booths, and a rustic appeal throughout.
The staff, even approaching closing, was very welcoming and hospitable. I'm pretty friendly and personable, but NOT an easy customer to impress. With that said, I feel Heyden (our server) and Mike (the manager) truly earned a five star review.
The food was fairly priced and was worth its price tag.
Baked Meatballs: Delicious! The meatballs had a great texture and flavor to match! My only wish was for a little more bread to finish off the great sauce, and many great cooks would argue this is the perfect way to end an appetizer.
Minnestrone Soup: An interesting twist on the classic. The texture was a bit 'off' to me, but I can't be more specific. The flavor was wonderful, incorporating what I believe was a small amount of Banana Peppers or Pepperocini, and cutting back on the salt a bit. The result was a lite, but unexpected 'bite', and an unusual, but magnificant balance. Definitely worth trying!
The pizza (8" Plain Pie): The crust is a bit pillowy, compared to a traditional New York Style Pizza (which is my personal standard for measuring any pizza). The sauce has real seasoning and flavor, missing from many pizzarias in the area. The cheese has a bit of a firm texture, but is not overly greasy, and it tastes as mozzerella should. It's not the best cheese I've had on a pizza, but it is as good as any I've had on the Gulf Coast. Overall, it may not be the best local example of a New York style pizza, but it is delicious, flavorful, and has a pleasing texture. As picky as I am about pizza, I will definitely be back for more.
House Salads: Fairly basic side salads. The vegetables are fresh. Everything is cut and arranged nicely for presentation and the balance of flavors is pleasant. The dressings complement the salads nicely. What more can you ask from a side salad?
Chicken Malano: My wife had this. She enjoyed the dish overall. She felt the chicken was done very nicely, but the pasta was just a little overcooked.
Chicken Parm: The pene is perfectly cooked, in my estimation. The tomato sauce is rich and flavorful. the portion is pretty standard for a restaurant of this class. The chicken itself is wonderfully flavorful, and the breading and sauce saves it from being dry, but it is regretfully overcooked, making it a bit tough and leathery, though not inedible. I suspect this may be a singular occurence, not the representative of the dish, but it is my only experience with it, to date.
Canoli: In my estimation, this dish is on par with the best in the area.
My overall take on the food...on a night when the main chef was not even working...I give it a genuine 4 stars. The overall experince and exceptional service raising to more than 4.5, hence rounding to 5 stars, from a very picky reviewer of Italian eateries.

About 15 of us from work all went here for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Since it was a large group, we made sure they knew about it days in advance so they could be prepared.
I sat down and started to look at the menu. The host never even bothered to ask what I would like to drink. He came around when my coworker sat down across from me and asked him what he'd like to drink. Before he walked off, I had to stop him and ask if he could bring me a tea. What he brought was frothy, like the head of a beer. Other people that ordered tea didn't have the froth, so I'm not sure what was going on there.
The host started to take everyone's order and I got a small thing of calamari with marinara. They brought out food to about 4 or 5 people in about 20 minutes' time, myself included. We figured they were going to bring out everyone's food around the same time or at least in a steady stream but that's wasn't the case. The first of us that got our food were able to eat and chat for about 45-60 minutes while several people in our group STILL didn't get their food.
The host never noticed my tea getting low and didn't bother to say anything about it. I had to ask if I could get a refill. My coworker across from me had his original drink and got 2 refills (3 total) and I just had the one glass, completely empty and just inches away from my coworkers glass.
Personally, I will never be rude to wait staff or restaurant employees. It's not just the never-make-the-people-who-handle-your-food-mad but it's also their place of work. They work just same as I do and I wouldn't appreciate someone being intentionally mean or rude where I work knowing that I can't respond in kind without losing my job. I'm not that kind of person so this wasn't self-sabotage.
About that calamari and marinara I ordered: Never got the marinara. It's not like it was an addition that I asked for, it was part of the order on the menu. The calamari wasn't terrible but it wasn't great, either. I ate about 2/3 of the calamari when I noticed something down by the greens. I picked it up to take a look and saw that it was a hard piece of plastic (see picture)! It was brittle enough to break but it was grease-stained like it had been with the calamari, not the greens. Couldn't eat another bite after that.
At least one other person in our group had a problem with their food so this wasn't an isolated event.
Others may have had better or similar experiences. For me, there was too many issues all at once for me to ever go back.

I have been very impressed with the quality and customer service at Nonie I's. As a resident on the west side of Pensacola, it's really nice to have a locally owned pizza place right around the corner. To provide context, I grew up with Sbarro pizza. It's one of my favorites, even if it's on the commercial size. The location is like any typical mall eatery and I would say clean from what I've viewed. They heat up your slice of pizza on a conveyor belt, so that was a nice surprise. I don’t do reviews often, especially not positive ones but this place was so rude today. The manager took our order and seemed to be more interested in rushing to the group of gentlemen next in line than completing ours. I waited patiently and informed her that we were not finished and needed to add a slice of pizza to which she replied I would “have to come back around” to order because she supposedly couldn’t hear me after hearing everything else from the same place just fine. Almost $17 for a slice of pizza and what appears to be a knock off hot pocket that wasn’t even warmed completely. I mean Stromboli. I’m sure the $2.39 “fountain drink” I was charged for a cup of water is fresh from the spring ;) Food wasn’t great, service was garbage. Edited to add they did trade it out for another Stromboli that was at least warmed completely through but still not very good. I used to love this place but it has really gone down hill.
