The bed mattress felt like it was slept on by at least a couple of thousand people. Every spring was digging into our backs which again contributed to the “amazing” sleep. And the absolute best part of the whole endeavour was that the room cost £100 per night. I simply couldn’t believe that something in such bad condition could fetch this amount per night. And to top it off, breakfast was not even included but we didn’t want to eat there anyways given the state of general hygiene around the place. If you can, avoid at all cost!

My partner's fish and chips were no better - fried frozen chips and over-fried battered frozen fish at a pricey £19 too. We were prepared to pay extra as the 'ambience' was of a country club setting but it is very poor service/taste to offer up worse than fast-food quality at your establishment. Waiting staff were attentive & courteous. Menu was really quite limited for such a large & iconic Establishment in this area & regarded of High Quality.
