축구 좋아하는 분들께는 추천~ 별 관심없는 분들은 돈아깝다고 하실듯~

다른 축구 박물관들도 다녀본 입장에서는 볼거리와 할 만한 게 거의 없었습니다. 미리 예약을 하고 방문하여 웨이팅 없이 들어갔습니다. 축구에 관심이 있는 편이지만 한 번 충분히 구경하는데 50분정도 걸렸네요.

축구팬 아니면 굳이 안 가시는 걸 추천해요. 가격대비 볼거리가 너무 없어요...

박물관 규모가 작아서 별로 볼 것은 없다. 관람료가 무료라면 평점을 많이 주었을 것이지만.. 가격대비 비추천

맨체스터하면 축구라고 생각했는데 생각이 바뀜! 게다가 국립박물관인데ㅠ 동선도 구성도 아쉬웠습니다.

어른 10파운드 입장료치곤 너무 볼게 없음. 박물관이라기보다는 우리나라 축구시뮬레이션 게임장이 오히려 나을듯함

한 번 쯤 방문해도 좋을 곳! 게다가 무료라는 사실:)

근처에 일정이 있다면 지나가다 잠깐 보는 걸 추천합니다. 굳이 이 곳을 일정에 넣어 찾아갈 필요는 없을 것 같아요. 깔끔히 잘 보존되어 있습니다.

음…. 누가봐도 옛날건물처럼 보이게 하기 위해 지은 현대식 건물 그냥 맨체스터 시티에서 관리하는 현대식 성당이라고 생각해면 될듯. 호텔 근처나 걷다가 발견한거 아니면 그냥 외간만 찍으세요. 외간은 사진이 실물보다 이쁘게나옴ㅋㅋ

한번쯤 지나가다 들릴만하나 찾아갈 정도는 아닙니다.

맨시티 경기 직관전에 시간 남아서 방문했는데 내부가 정말 멋지더라구요...

중세시대 모습 같아요

성당 건축과 미술에 대해서 공부하지 않으면 모두 비슷 비슷, 아니면 똑같아 보인다는 무지함이 있습니다. 맨체스터라는 지역과 역사를 함께한 중심지 였다는 것이 놀랐습니다.

TV에서만 보던 올드트래포드 경기장을 꼭 가보고 싶었기 때문에 영국 여행중에 맨체스터를 가야만 하는 이유였던곳. 오랜기간동안 사용된 경기장인데 여전히 관리가 잘되어 있었고 무엇보다도 박물관에 전시된 무수한 컵들이 입이떡벌어졌어요. 영국 축구를 좋아하신다면 꼭 한번쯤은 가볼만한 장소라고 생각됩니다. 맨체스터에서 렌트카를 안했더니 확실히 교통편은 불편합니다. 약간의 비용을 감수할수 있다면 택시가 매우 편리해요. 경기장에 가보니 주차공간도 넉넉하고 주차장이 가까워요. (경기가 있는 날엔 복잡하겠지만요) 유니폼샵에서 한참 구경하다 나오니 아울렛도 있어서 여러가지 아이템 득템했습니다. 스타디움 투어는 예약하고 갔지만 평일이라 그런지 대기가 길거나 그렇진 않았습니다. 다른 구장 투어와 달리 기자회견룸에서 사진을 안찍어줘서 아쉬웠는데 이동하면서 보니 찍고나오는 분들 있더라고요. 맨유 광팬이라면 기다렸다가 꼭 찍고 오세요~ (빅6클럽 스타디움 투어 했습니다.)

그라운드를 보는 순간 설레임이 폭발했던 곳. 마이클 캐릭의 마지막 유니폼을 볼 수 있어서 뜻 깊었고, red cafe가 생각보다 비싸지 않았던 것도 좋았다. audio service도 3.5파운드인가 그런데 그건 컨텐츠가 부족하므로 굳이 사용하지 않아도 될 거 같다. 시간이 남는다면 투어 전에 뮤지엄 둘러보는 것도 좋지만 서쪽?문에 있는 메가 스토어를 한 번 둘러보면 좋을 것 같다.

꿈에 그리던 극장 올드 트래포드 경기장을 걸어본다는 것. 박물관도 구경하면서 역사를 배웠어요

OT 전통이 있는 구장답게 먼가 웅장하면서도 엔틱하다. 박물관부터 구장투어내내 볼거리가 많다. 유일하게 epl팀 중 전자가이드북에 한국어를 지원한다. 다만 내것은 작동이 잘 되지 않았다. 그리고 구장투어 가이드분이 첼시에 비해 넘 진지충이다. 끝까지 노잼이다. 내부시설은 업그레이드가 많이 되었다. 그래서 올드하면서도 세련된 고급스러운 분위기가 있다.

역사와 전통이 있는 멋진 경기장에 걸맞은 수많은 트로피와 렌전드들, 그들의 자부심 모두 좋고 인정할수 밖에 없지만 그들 스스로 선택한 소수의 앰배서더중 한명인 박지성에 관한 어떠한 사진이나 기념품, 스타디움 투어중 가이드의 언급조차 없었다.. 지낸 기간도 더 짧은 PSV아인트호벤 홈구장에도 출입구 하나가 박지성 사진으로 되어 있었는데.. 결국 박지성 앰버서더 임명은 아시안 고객유치를 위한 장사수단이였다.. 결론적으로 맨체스터 유나이티드는 축구를 이용해 오로지 돈만 밝히는 집단이었다..

맨체스터에 오면 올드트래포드는 가야됨. The Busby babes 부터 Fergie's fledglings까지..축구역사는 올드트래포드가 젤 깊은 것 같습니다. 스태디엄투어와 박물관은 25파운드. 스토어에 살 거 엄청많음.

맨체스터에서 기억에 남는 유일한 장소. 솔직히 30분이면 구경하고도 충분히 남을정도로 작긴하지만 분위기는 좋음. 신기하게 여기 실제로 독서실처럼 이용가능해서 여기서 작업하거나 공부하는 학생들이 꽤 있음. 정숙 유지!! 하 근데 여기서 공부하면 ㄹㅇ 기분 째질것 같긴함. 학생들로 보이는 사람들이 자원봉사인지 관리도 이곳저곳 하고있어서 깔끔하게 잘 유지됨. 맨체스터 간다면 여기 필수. 어차피 갈 곳 없어서 여기라도 가야댐

해리포터가 연상되는 도서관 입장료 없음, 무료 제법 빨리 닫으므로 이른 저녁까지 방문하시는걸 추천드려요 실제로 졸업생같은 학생들이 학사모랑 가운 맞춰와 사진 찍더라구요 실제로 책이나 노트북 가져오셔서 공부도 가능합니다 근데 다 관광객이여서 실제로 공부하는 사람은 없었어요

코로나때문인지 들어가지 못하는 곳이 있습니다. 기대를 많이 하고 가서 인지 건물자체는 아름답지만 생각보다는 볼게 별로 없습니다. 둘러보는데 30분이면 충분합니다. 죽은 남편을 추모하기 위해 이런 도서관을 지어 시민에게 개방한 라이랜즈가문의 재력을 느낄수 있습니다.

한 번 정도 방문할만한 곳입니다.

내부는 성당같은 분위기의 조용한 도서관입니다. 둘러볼 공간이 크지 않아서 잠깐 시간을 내어 가볼 만 한 곳입니다. 자리를 잡고 공부하는 학생들에게 방해가 되지 않도록 조심스럽게 관람하고, 사진을 찍을만한 장소입니다.

현재 버밍엄 대학에 출근 중이라, 각 대학마다 상징적인 박물관이 있다는 사실을 알 수 있었습니다. 두 박물관을 비교했을때, 버밍엄이 지질학이 메인이라면, 이 곳은 다양한 야생 동물과, 유물들에 더 초점이 맞춰져 있습니다. 그만큼 작은 영국 국립 박물관을 떠올리게 할정도로 그 규모가 대학 박물관 치고는 매우 좋았습니다. 일단 토요일 오전임에도 입장을 반겨주는 박물관 직원들은 매우 친절하고 전문적이었습니다. 또한, 런던에서도 보기 힘들었던 다양한 동물들과 유물들, 그리고 로만 바스에서 봤던 것과 동일한 로마 제국 유물들과 영국 박물관의 이집트 유물들까지, 정말 수준높은 유물들로 가득차 있어서 좋았습니다. 축구 경기가 오후에 있어 오전은 박물관 투어로 채웠는 데 정말 최고의 선택이었습니다. 최고층은 체험존으로 보이며 오후 2시부터 오픈 된다고 적혀 있었습니다.

이집트 미라도 있고 피라미드 유물이 많아 구경하기 좋습니다 아이들이 좋아하는 동물들도 있어요

우연히 알고 들어갔는데 입장료도 없고 전시물도 흥미로워서 만족도가 높았음. 크지는 않아 2~3시간이면 다 돌아볼 수 있음.

고고학 자료들 뿐만 아니라 갤러리 전시도 좋습니다.

Now its just worst than terrible. The odd shop and Aldi outside of course. The work that was done has made no difference. They made a grand big reopening of Kings Street but the new 'shops' are dormant, not filled and look they they may have cafes going in them. The home bargains is great to have back but thats it. All this money thats been put into it is in itself a joke. Either use the money to knock it down or lower the rent of the units so actual business can thrive. Its so frustrating that the tax payers money has been so sunk into this project that died a long time ago! Its ruined now and will never get back to its former glory. So sad really.

The park is huge, and is equipped with a lovely cafe (see my previous review), children’s play areas, large fields appropriate for games and ball sports, tennis courts and a disc golf course (reviewed separately). Obviously there are so many great movies directed 20/30/40/last century but honestly; with this cost of living crisis, who in their right mind would spend 8/9/10 pounds in a film that can easily be found online? For the last months it's obvious that this place is not screening as much movies from abroad, from the non-speaking english as it used to do. For instance; what happened to the VIVA festival, which was long established from many years ago? Even though they were screening spanish-speaking movies that I had mostly already watched, still the curators who were in place back in the day managed to pick interesting films that I hadn't seen before. To sum it up; there are so, soooo many great movies directed, being released and produced from abroad that HOME is already overlooking, and this didn't use to happen. It is obvious there have been a change in the curators in charge of picking which movies are being screen in HOME, and this change hasn't been for the better at all. On top of that, the service at the bar is absolutely appalling; apart from the cakes of choice on offer now (which are way simpler than before, not quite good looking and obviously more expensive, 4 pounds for a slice...) the bar staff attitude is careless to put it softly. I went to the bar on wednesday morning for a slice of cake around 11 40 AM as I had to sent a few emails. Apart from the sticky table (sticky table not even in the afternoon, it just speaks volumes...), I took a slice of cake and, in the station aside, I noticed there were no spoons for the cake (who would eat a slice of a cake with fork and a knife, honestly???) so, when asking for a tea spoon, I was told "there are forks and knives in the station" by a short lady with dark hair in not a friendly fashion. Only a short, black woman with dark hair bothered to get me a tea spoon. Obviously I wasn't expecting a fine dining experience but maybe even in an average, lousy Spoons you'd get a better service.
