A couple of things are worth noting however which could be an issue for some. 1) The main restaurant isn't open Mondays or Tuesdays at this time of year, so there's a more restricted menu in the evening 2) The hotel is a mile or two out of the centre of St Andrews, without a continuous footpath connection (or immediate bus access). That means that it's a lovely oasis of peace, but you might need to use a car, or call a taxi, to get into town - especially if the weather is inclement. Highly recommended nonetheless

(원문) Ok for the price. We stayed here for 2 nights, the initial room we were put in was horribly hot (no heating was on though)and the view from the window was a glass roof covered in bird sh*t. We immediately asked for another room which was granted without fuss by the really nice staff. This room was much cooler and had a nicer view! The beds are quite hard and we thought this would be an issue but to be fair they were actually very comfortable. Bear in mind this is essentially student accommodation and that’s the vibe the rooms have, not a lot of room but very clean and functional. The breakfast which is included in the price, was ok but it is a bit mass produced and the quality of the meat isn’t top notch but ok. The variety and choice is very impressive though, plenty of options and very well run. There is a nice wee bar, if a bit lacking in atmosphere. The staff are all lovely and very accommodating, I have no complaints whatsoever on that score. Unfortunately we wouldn’t consider coming here again but that is very much down to our age, we are 59 and 61 so we feel that this isn’t the type of accommodation for us, we would prefer to spend a bit more and get more room and comfort. But if you’re young I would definitely consider staying here! 3 stars is fair for our experience but it isn’t a bad place to stay for a couple of nights.

The Fairmont and properties down by the old course are amazing and away from the chaos of this 3 bedroom apartment. I rented the 3-bedroom apartment at No1. Apartments, West Park House – Saint Mary’s for what was supposed to be a dream golf trip to St. Andrews. The property itself is stunning, very clean, and comparable to a 3–4 star hotel—but at a premium price for the area. Unfortunately, two of the bedrooms face the street in the heart of the college town, and the noise was unbearable. College kids partied until 4 a.m., leaving me (and my friends) with maybe an hour of sleep before a once-in-a-lifetime round of golf. The apartment is lovely with a very modern lounge area, kitchen and bathroom ( great shower) and was pristine throughout. The bedroom was smallish but the bed was huge and very comfortable. There is a shared seated courtyard outside the apartments which is private and great for good weather. The location of the apartments is perfect. A few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants and 5 mins to the beach. Free parking on the street across the road heading out of town. Booking direct gave a 5% discount for 1 night but read all details as you get 12% discount for 2 nights and 15%( I think) discount for 3 nights. A good saving. You also get a free bottle of Prosecco on arrival. It wasn’t there when we arrived but an email resolved this very quickly. Thank you to George for sorting this. There is a key code to enter the apartment blocks but this is not activated until 3pm so you can’t get in earlier unless you pay for early entry.
