Restaurant
Safari Restaurant & Bar offers a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere where you can savor Spanish and global cuisine. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the restaurant serves up delectable dishes alongside signature cocktails and an impressive wine selection. The establishment also hosts regular evening entertainment to enhance your dining experience. The friendly staff is fluent in English and provides small amusements for children.
Nice restaurant, good service and good food too. Slightly overpriced priced, but what you would probably expect in a hotel restaurant. Could do with being a bit better atmosphere, there was a solo guitarist for an hour or so, could have been longer. Paella was amazing Tikka skewer was a bit dry according to Mrs B.
Keith B — Google review
Nice food and nice decor. The ambiance is a bit quiet and not super lively, however the place is kids friendly and the menu is fine. We had the mixed paella for two and it was quite good and very generous (we had to take away some leftovers).
Sophie H — Google review
First impressions on our very first time at Wyndham grand and the wider Mijas region. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
Darren M — Google review
amazing food and great service!! we were meant to go for one meal here during our stay but it was so good we had to go back for another the next night! the staff were so friendly and funny and really looked after us (more than i can say for other restaurants/bars in the resort). would definitely recommend the margaritas and pasta dishes❤️
Emma H — Google review
Staff is friendly, speaking English. Food delicious . We tried coctails they were nice. Wine and beer also good . They provide small entertainment for children paper and pencils but this helped keep my daughter entertained. Also there is piano musician I think every night .
Maria B — Google review
Food was quite good but too expensive. We liked the location.
Giovanni M — Google review
High prices, with indifferent and slow service. A frustrating experience, especially when it's the only option on an enormous resort that's too far out of town to walk to other alternatives. Live music most nights, which varies from 'really quite pleasant' to 'thoroughly mediocre'. Update: Against our better judgement, we returned. The result was even worse! It took 45 minutes to get a single drinks order in, and then we were ignored until somebody came to take our menu away. We ordered another drink at that point, but the disdain with which our request was taken suggested that serving customers was the last thing on their mind. The Old Fashioned cocktail that finally arrived was, frankly, undrinkable and sent back. Utterly frustrating and disappointing.

The Mahi Mahi fish today was beyond expectations! Perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Thank you for the lovely experience!

Brunch La Bohemia by Copa d'oro redefines the brunch experience, ensuring it’s anything but ordinary. With a philosophy that embraces global flavors, this charming spot offers a delightful array of dishes complemented by stunning oceanfront views. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free, there are plenty of options to satisfy every palate. Guests rave about the impeccable service and diverse menu—poached eggs and hearty American or English breakfasts are just a few highlights that keep visitors coming back for more.
Excellent food without exceptions. Always when I have eaten here, it has been a pleasant experience. The food not only tastes good but it always looks so beautiful. The presentation is on point. The menu is also very big so there is something for everyone. From breakfast food to brunch to lunch. Burgers toasties or sweets such as pancakes and waffles. Service was fast, and the servers were extremely nice and helpful. It was very busy at the place but still the food arrived very fast. It was only down size that there was one female toilet, and the queue was a bit long, but it's fine. The inside looks cool and funky. I would highly recommend this place highly. The food always looks incredible pretty, and it is always so tasty. I had the trio where you had avocado toast, yoghurt, and waffles. Was excellent and well priced as well.
Nea — Google review
Beautiful place for breakfast/brunch. We visited 3 times during our stay because the food and service was impeccable! I got the poached eggs which were simply gorgeous, so tasty. I also tried the American breakfast and the English breakfast and both were also amazing! The range of options on the menu will suit everyone’s needs and they offer gluten free and vegetarian options. They also do a range of smoothies and cocktails. I hadn’t tried those as we were so stuffed after our breakfasts!! 1000/10 amazing! Well done guys. Definitely recommend visiting.

Delicious food and reasonoble prices also. Thanks many gluten free and dairy free options

Absolutely the best service I had in this holidays. Really friendly! The food was great and finally with some real vegan options, not the usual rice with vegetables. Great location and it looks cute inside

Such good foods! Vegan options too, and the matcha is sooo good! Yum!

Every trip has a Bohemia-breakfast now. Always same level of service and food since a year and a half that I've been coming here. American breakfast is my first pick on the menu.
Victor G — Google review
Delicious food! We had a very nice breakfast and smoothies. Smoothie was very refreshing. We will be coming back regularly for the next two weeks 😊parking was easy enough to find. Highly recommend
A A — Google review
Very nice place right by the sea. We sat so we had a sea view and it was very cozy. We had coffee, carrot cake and churros. Unfortunately, the carrot cake didn't have the taste or texture of such a cake, but tasted more like a sugar cake with caramel flavor, it was quite sweet. The churros weren't great either, very small and thin despite the doughy inside. They are probably better at making food than sweets but the coffee was very good. The stars are for the incredibly nice waiters who are very service minded.

Nestled away from the bustling seafront, Restaurante La Esquinita Fuengirola is a hidden gem that promises an authentic Spanish dining experience. With an extensive menu featuring delectable dishes like the must-try arroz caldoso and some of the best croquetas you’ll ever taste, this restaurant is perfect for family gatherings or special celebrations. The friendly and attentive staff go above and beyond to ensure a memorable meal, making it easy to see why it's so highly recommended by locals.
We've been to this restaurant twice, and we keep coming back. I finally found my "the best Gambas Pil-pil" in Fuengirola. Good food equals good mood. Horaaayy!!!

As usual a fantastic gastronomic experience. Went for daily menu , had lentils and veal filet with vegetables , my friend had mixed salad and chicken curry and for dessert tiramisu, it was out of this world for 25€ both of us. Highly recommend going there to have some tapas , menu or a sandwich. Staff are always very nice , special thanks to Joana for an excellent service and attention 😁😁😁 If you want to have more of terrace experience try going La Rozuela in avda finlandia as it same family business.🤫

Nice food, always fresh and regional, very friendly staff - I recommend❤️
Kasia — Google review
Recommended by friends this restaurant is situated away from the main restaurants that are closer to the seafront, nevertheless its busy, busy, 5 🌟 doesn't do it, the waiting staff go beyond, they are friendly, helpful and attentive, that followed by fabulous, flavoursome food what more can one ask. I wholly recommend this place but don't forget to BOOK..!.. Weekdays or weekends many people get turned away.. if your early enough you may, but may, be lucky
Trevor B — Google review
Traditional Spanish restaurant. Huge and very varied menu. Quick service. Great price/quality relation. It is very popular so you need to reserve and be on time, at least if you want to eat in the terrace. They have a big room for eating inside as well.
Pedro C — Google review
Great food and honestly the BEST croquetas I've ever had. Would make the trip from Asturias just for their croquetas! The only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 is because it took a while for anyone to really pay attention to us. We kept getting sent back and forth "ask my coworker inside" then was sent back inside and outside again. If it hadn't come so highly recommended we would have probably left (glad we didn't!) Once we were able to be seated, the waiter was extremely nice and we fully enjoyed our meal!
Jillian S — Google review
For years this was our 'go to' place when in los boliches. After our experience last week I doubt I will visit again. We had white fish and tuna. The white fish tasted 'off' and the tuna tasted nor had the texture of any tuna I have ever had before. In addition we both had severe sickness and stomach cramps the following day!!!! Plus to top it off the waiting staff were less than friendly and charge for bread we never asked for nor touched
Pat O — Google review
we got lamb shops , they were very nice ,but all we were served with was chips only a bit of salad would have been nice with it.

I love the pastries and the coffee but this place can be really chaotic and loud. Tonight we were lucky though and received really good service ❤️ thank you to the guy who recommended the caramel cake and the lady with him. I think we were the last customers to leave and we were very happy customers.

Not a good day here unfortunately. I chose a known name because I wanted somewhere easy and reliable to get some work done. WiFi isn’t working, no straws, and I paid €4.90 for a vanilla frappe in which the syrup won’t dissolve into the drink. 👎 go to a local cafe

The place was really nice! The churros tasted amazing, and as a surprise, I also tried the noodles — they were actually really delicious, I loved them! The staff was relaxed and friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit!

Tasty and affordable! Had a coffee with milk, and churros. Churros were very good: fresh, quite thick, a bit fluffy inside, not too greasy. Excellent! Coffee was good and the prices reasonable. Will return for sure.

The waiter was lovely, the churros and iced coffee was great. In a lovely location, we sat in the sun and enjoyed our drinks. 100% recommend

Churros a 2 star, noodles a 4 star, service a 3 star. Price for the area a 5 star. Great value, simple lunch. Would go again but not order the churros.
LasVegas C — Google review
The besttt Churros in town!! Noodles were also amazing. They have several options for filling the churros, I definitely recommend dulce de leche! Owner is very sweet and helpful, great service.
Setare A — Google review
Been a couple of times now and usually take a while to be served and can be a bit rude to English customers. Today ordered stuffed churros and found a black hair in the batter of it. It put us of all of our food and couldn’t finish our food because it was disgusting. When the bill came they said they took off the churro with the hair in it (well obviously they should) but we ended up paying for the food we couldn’t eat because we were put off by the hail. We won’t be returning. EDIT: as the business has responded, for further context, my father left half a churros which he was eating whilst a hair was found in my churro. It’s unfortunate we found the hair in the last churro as we at that point knew the batter was contaminated with the hair and we had eaten the churros. I don’t think saying because we had eaten the food it shouldn’t have been taken off is acceptable because my family left knowing they ate contaminated batter which I believe it worse. We shouldn’t have paid to eat contaminated food. To address the point about treating everyone equally, the staff was nice today but we did come here last year with friends and they were rude to us and let us sit around waiting for menus, then food, then drinks. I had to grab my own drinks from the bar area because I could see them sitting there and no one was bringing them to us but were being quick with the locals. We came today to give them another chance but unfortunately we had another bad experience so won’t be returning.

It's a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Spanish breakfast experience. Visitors rave about their delectable churros, rich hot chocolate, and satisfying coffee.
Very good service. The churros were good and liked the pot of nuttella instead of order hot chocolate. Clever twist.
Tony L — Google review
We stopped in for some Cafe Con Leche and Churros and Chocolate. What a great local place. Our server was friendly and helpful. We've had churros in Barcelona, Madrid and now in Fuengirola. These churros were large and airy with great flavour, crisp outside and tender inside. The chocolate sauce had a nice chocolate pudding "before it sets" texture! The atmosphere is street side with many locals...a big plus.
Jeff G — Google review
Only Open Saturdays. Churros or Porras very ordinary - at least not Frozen. Sandwiches can improve.
Suharto R — Google review
We asked our waiter several times if he knew if there was nuts in any of the dips. We assume that the nutella dip would contain hazle nuts and asked several times to make sure but he claimed there wasn't. Upon getting our order we who could eat nuts could tell that there was hazle nuts in the nutella and the kinder dip. We went back to double check again and this time his collegue overheard and basically said the opposite confirming there was nuts in certain dips. We were compensated with other dips and the churros was great but these kind of situations can become dangerous.
David L — Google review
Not impressed at all. Asked for churros with dipping sauce and coffee. Did not get dipping sauce, coffee in a glass too hot to pick up, churros were very salty. Was given an ashtray that wasn't emptied from previous use or clean and the area was littered with rubbish and cig dimps. On the plus side it was only €2.50.

Beautiful place to sit and have lunch. Very cheap too as you can get half portions if your not overly hungry. Very friendly staff. I would recommend it as the food was excellent. I had a half Mixto toasted roll and a coke and it was only €3.80 ... I can barely get a bottle of coke at home in Ireland for that price 🤣 so yes I'll be back here for sure 👍👍👍👍

We came just before closing time and therefore only took the coffees. We still got good and cheerful service even though the place was closing. The coffee was good. We will definitely be back in the near future as long as we can wait in line because the place is always full 🥰🙏. More stars when I eat here

A lovely welcoming cafe. We came at the end of day about 7pm and had coffee and hot chocolate. The host was polite and patient at our attempt at Spanish and chatty as his English and our Spanish allowed. Our drinks were served promptly and were of good quality. The hot chocolate was so thick you could stand a spoon in it! A bit too sweet but this was our fist hot chocolate in Spain, who knew it was going to be so. The cafe is pleasant and non obliging with comfortable chairs and stable tables. A group of locals were sat inside and talking loud, bringing a good vibe. We used toilets and those were clean. Price of our drinks was average for the area. Overall, a pleasant cafe.

Pub
Maxy Beach is a popular spot located at the mouth of the Fuengirola River, offering stunning views from its hilltop position. It's a recommended attraction in Fuengirola, known for its friendly service and diverse menu featuring tapas, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts. The bar is praised for its wide selection of beers and wines, including local favorites like Alhambra 1925 and Estrella 1906.
After a morning of flailing about in the sea like a couple of overexcited Labradors, we needed lunch. Badly. We wandered up to Maxy Beach in Fuengirola, looking for a decent spot to sort us out before we passed out on the sand. My mate ordered this monster of a sandwich — ham, cheese, and chicken all crammed together. And for once, he actually stopped complaining about the heat long enough to eat it in complete, blissful silence. A small miracle, truly. I went for the tuna roll, and it was absolutely spot on. Fresh, full of flavour, and exactly what you want after a swim — light enough to avoid a food coma but tasty enough to make you consider ordering another straight away. The lad serving us was brilliant. Friendly, spoke English perfectly, and didn’t burst out laughing at my catastrophic attempt at Spanish. You don’t realise how rare that is until you try ordering food anywhere along the coast. Maxy Beach was exactly what we needed: simple, delicious, and laid-back. The perfect place to grab a proper sandwich, stare at the sea, and pretend life’s sorted. If you’re anywhere near Fuengirola, go. You won’t regret it.
Mr F — Google review
Lovely little Tapas bar. The owner loves his beers and wines, very informed and there's a great choice of both. For the connoisseur, you'll find Alhambra 1925 and Estrella 1906 here too!! Great fresh fish skewers. Authentic local caught only (squid and Octopus not on when we visited since they're out of season). Stop by, you'll not be disappointed.

El Mimbre Bakery & Coffee in Fuengirola, Malaga is a beloved local spot offering a variety of freshly baked goods and delicious coffee. The bakery is known for its charming ambiance and friendly staff. Customers can enjoy a selection of sandwiches, tartes, toasts, smoothies, and more. The bread is described as great and crispy yet soft inside, while the meat in the sandwiches is flavorful and combined with fresh vegetables.
A very nice bakery on the corner of the street. The sandwiches were very good. The tartes were also very tasteful. Can definitely recommend this place. Staff was also friendly.

Locals frequented, which normally is a good sign. Try and wait for the server to come see you or you're gambling yeh order to come out wrong.

WARNING!!!! Must be notified to the Food Authority for the control and closure of this cafe that offers consumers old pastries with mold!!! When i got the sight of the rear “Mille feuille” of a strange random inside the bake, vanilla wore the cream as a hard cheese piece with mass of mold. I were shocked by this vision. Of shock, i could not even take a photo, i called to the staff and they took this immediately. They were nonchalant. The place must be investigated immediately before people get poisoned!!!

Amazing, lovely place, Jesus is a very nice charming person, who will do his best to help. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable, I recommend !

This is a good and new spot for coffee amd breakfast. We needed an early breakfast and they are open early. At 8.45 in the morning quite busy already. Friendly male staff member took the order. He saw us immediately. Service was quick. Everything shining and bright new. The toasted pan, croissant, coffee, it was good. The only remark...fresh orang juice must be fresh. Pressed at the moment.. we had the idea that it came out of a prefab can. But despite of that, a nice place. We go there another time for sure.

Nice place for a quick snack, very nice food, great selection of cakes.
DAVE K — Google review
This place is a complete mess. We ordered some bread and the cashier kept rolling her eyes at us because we are not Spanish and we were speaking Spanish. We also ordered a coffee to go and and it took more than 20 minutes. We were told to wait near the side of the counter and then we got healed at by another waiter to not stand there. Seems like these people don’t like tourists.. especially the ones who can speak Spanish…which is sad because that’s how they make most of their money.

Typical spanish breakfast including churros, well-prepared with good price-at-value. Nice service. A lot of local people here.
Ro. N — Google review
So went for breakfast as every time we passed it was busy. Stood and watched people get seated before us who has arrived after, took the upper hand and sat at next available table. We then where ignored and tables sat after us served before us. I understand taking care of locals/regulars but this got ridiculous. We ended up walking out so review is only based on service and our experience.

Great Spanish cafeteria in a nice bustling Spanish Plaza. It is really busy here and that is purely based purely n the great service and tasty churros. It is a very cheap cafe with no compromise to taste of quality. The tea and coffees were just right and churro with chocolate was to die for

We had dinner and it was lovely, food and the view as it's right by the paseo. I had a pasta with fish and olives in tomato sauce which was delicious, my friend had a salmon pizza made spicy for her liking and the boys had burgers and pasta carbonara and velvet cake, carrot cake and Oreo cake for dessert. Everyone truly enjoyed and will definitely go back!

I am a massive fan of mexican food, and the Jimmy changas I had didn't disappoint. Fresh and full of flavour. My partner had the king burger and it was a seriously thick burger patty cooked well and Juicy. Reasonably priced and friendly staff.

Had a great time at La Costa Restaurante 🍕 The pizza was amazing, pasta super tasty, and we enjoyed a couple of Aperols with a view. Prices are totally reasonable and the staff were all smiles – really friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot worth visiting! 😊🇪🇸

Owner was super sweet and whipped us up some good food at 22.15 on a Sunday (we arrived late) food was good and again, he was super sweet!

Had some drinks and they were fine when they finally arrived. What was really dissapointing was the 10% service fee added to the bill without asking. A ripoff. No need to visit again.

Breakfast/early lunch place. Open 07:30-13:30. Great coffee and they have fresh squeezed juice (tropical = orange, apple & carrot) that tastes excellent!! They remember you after a few visits, and the food is freshly prepared! You can order in English, but most people who visit are Spanish!
Dorthe H — Google review
Coffee is great, staff is friendly, the place has a very local vibe. They do are a bit creative with their pricing though. We paid 12eu for 2 coffee with milk (1,50 each) and a sandwich with single egg an maybe 25gr of cheese per sandwich. Our advise would be to have a clear price before you order your sandwich. Or better find a restaurant at the beach where your view is better and probably you pay the same or less.
Sven H — Google review
Serranito sandwich with chicken was just amazing, very delicious.
Edvard — Google review
Great experience with authentic Spanish food. They only speak Spanish and French, so you better come prepared.

Casa Felipe 1977 is a charming café located in the city center, close to Bioparc. It's a popular spot for breakfast, especially known for its delicious churros and thick chocolate. The owner is friendly and the venue features historical local area pictures as well as bullfighting images of the owner. In addition to breakfast, they also serve sandwiches and tapas for lunch. The café offers freshly squeezed orange juice and a variety of coffee options.
Great place for breakfast, we’ve been back two days in a row during our stay in Fuengirola. Really nice churros with thick chocolate, lovely Pan con tomate as well, light and fresh. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. Staffs are friendly and attentive too, all in all it’s a good breakfast to start your day! Price-wise: Pan con tomato + Churros + 2 coffee + 2 orange juices = €11.5
Fion W — Google review
This is my favorite place to eat in Fuengirola! I’ve lived here since September, and every time my long distance boyfriend comes to visit, he insists we go to Casa Felipe to get the Bocadillo Felipe 🤩 Samuel is great at what he does, super quick, efficient, and friendly. The best!!

Great local place café specialist in serving breakfast and also serves sandwiches and tapas for lunch . The pic is a fantastic cafe bombon served by Nataly ,Susane will help on table service.
Frederick D — Google review
Very popular in the morning for churros, but also a nice place to have a drink in the afternoon. The owner is very friendly and chatty. The venue is set back from the beach in a more local-friendly area but it is worth a visit. There are some pictures on the walls showing the history of the local area as well as pictures of the owner himself bullfighting. In all this is a popular and charming cafe whether you need breakfast and a coffee or an aperitif at lunch.

Nice churros. Busy and noisy place.
Sami T — Google review
Tidy and traditional place, had the breakfast over there but nothing special, at the end the price was over the average for the same deal
Joyce F — Google review
Amazing Churros con chocolate! Great coffee. Very friendly service. Lots of locals going about their lives. Really enjoyed visit and will definitely be back. Just a shame it closes at 2pm 🙁.
