Music is amazing and the atmosphere too. The staf is really nice and the bouncers have my biggest respect: they always take care of the girls (the club is very safe for solo traveler woman or even the group. You’ll always be looked up after even if your out of the club or when your not even asking for help if the bouncers sees some disrespectfull behavior you wouldn’t even have to ask or look for them, they would control it nicely immediately. They also try to look out for your drinks and who’s going to the toilet so you would feel safe). Had the best experience and just had to come back. I would recommend it for everyone, because the club is always full off life even on work days, like Mondays.

ABUSIVE TO WOMEN!! I had an upsetting experience at Old Town Bar/Club. I tried to leave with an unopened bottle of water and, instead of explaining the policy, the bouncer got physically aggressive. Multiple men put their hands on me over a simple misunderstanding. As a tourist, I felt confused, unsafe, and humiliated. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional behavior.

Wonderfully service and very good drinks, because out go to bar throughout our holiday, staff always brought us complimentary cups and nuts and they constantly made us feel appreciated. Will be back for more evening drinks next year.

I would like to praise DJ Luis for his fantastic DJ skills; he gave me and my friends a lot of fun every evening with his great mix.

We had a nice time, warm and comfortable in january, watching a footballgame betweeen real madrid and barcelona. Waiters was kind, drinks good, and the toilet guy was friendly.

Fantastic live band in here for Paddy's day and then a great DJ too. Drinks prices were decent and we all had a great time. Best Irish pub in Fuengirola.

Great place you don't even need to buy a drink to enjoy a really good band. I'm here now and there's a good crowd but a lot have been here all night with not one drink. Unbelievable unless you see it.

Been here three visits running now, the location is nice - it is set back from the beach so isn’t rammed with tourists. Seems to have more of a local expat vibe, which is helped by the recurring bands. We watched the Skafeinados and Stephen Kelly. Both excellent artists. This is my third time watching the Skas and they do not disappoint. First time watching Stephen and he was excellent. We will be back to watch on our next visit. The service is quick - table service if it’s not too busy. Staff are attentive and friendly. Prices are very competitive.

If you’re holidaying in this area and after a great finisher to a night out, then this is THE place to go. I came out here last year (2023) with friends, after an evening drinking down the Marina we ended up here, it was brilliant! Great atmosphere, great live music and reasonably priced drinks. We had an awesome night out. I also visited recently with my wife, we made Pogs our last venue for the night on my recommendation - again, a brilliant night!! I don’t have any photos as having such a good time you forget your phone. This is an adults venue, it’s not a family place. Time to let your hair down ladies and gents!

Great place on a Friday night for live 80s band. Great atmosphere, lots of patrons but not too crowded. The music and band is actually good and patrons do dance and sing along to popular songs.

Tried to take my family and kids there to a gig after being highly recommended by musician friends of ours who play there but were turned away at the door and told the kids weren't welcome for live music. Won't be going back. As an Irish Bar owner myself with loads of live music and families who frequent, I find this policy in a family resort absolutely ridiculous.

We arrived after our long journey and were hungry, so we went to this restaurant with a very beautiful atmosphere! They welcomed us warmly and even offered to store our luggage for us, since we still had some time before we could check into our Airbnb. We gladly accepted this kind gesture. The food is also very delicious and beautifully presented. The staff and the owner are truly kind-hearted people—you can’t help but feel comfortable here.

What can we say . The Wessex bar is fantastic, Kay, Catherine go the extra mile for customers. And the chef lee the food he cooks is amazing. Would recommend the Wessex 100%. Jane and Tracy

The nicest group of people, with delicious food. We have been coming here before covid and was delighted to see everyone again. They accommodate my son who can be quite picky and just wonderful people. See u again next year.

Nice location on the Paseo. Friendly staff. I had the burger with fried potatoes. The bun was cold. The beef was over well done, very dry. Will definitely not have the burger again here.

Hands down the best pub food I’ve had in my whole 30 years on this planet. Granted I didn’t have a lot of that during my first years alive but I’ve been to a bunch of pubs as an adult and nothing really comes close to this. The chicken, the sides, the burgers, the homemade chips, it’s all grand. Cherry on the top is the amazing staff, this pub has it all!

The best place for a relaxed vibe and slower pace, exactly what you need to unwind and enjoy a nice lunch and even better Guinness. The food was well worth the wait and the Guinness was excellent. Gabe was an incredible host and made sure to check if we needed anything while we were there. The fish and chips as well as the steak and Guinness pies are must haves and excellent classics.

Came here on our holiday and our first stop was Fibbers! I was absolutely delighted to find an Irish restaurant/bar. Me and my friend both got the full irish and it was delightful. We were served by Matthew and we were delighted with the service. Matthew was very attentive and quick to our needs. I have worked in hospitality for years now so I know what good service is, Matthew was a brilliant server.

Worst service ever. The staff completely ignored us — you can sit and wait and no one will even ask if you'd like to order. The waiter was rude and arrogant. There are plenty of great restaurants and bars in the area, including some really good English and Irish pubs — this is definitely not one of them. Pretty much anything else around here is a better choice

Walked inside were totally ignored menu dropped on table. Ordered chicken curry and burger and chips plus drinks.Food was very nice .Cider was flat the beer good. Went to the counter paid no ak acknowledgement seems to be friendly to those the know.Young waitress needs to smile .

The smoothies are VERY watered down and arrived warm with just added ice at the very last minute. The bread doesn’t even come with any oil or butter and when I asked they said they don’t have. Very bland restaurant. Wouldn’t recommend for this price.

The best place on the sea front by miles. €3.60 for a pint and just had tapas chicken curry with bread for €2.90 absolutely lovely. Glad i found this place with a week left on my holiday. The staff are amazing and even met the manager who is such a good guy too

Look no further, this place is a must go. I cannot even explain how nice the staff are and the customers, a good mix of locals and tourists (they welcome everyone with open arms), such a great atmosphere and so positive. They even look after the local cats and do great charity work for the community. The South African guy and the barman from Sunderland are absolute legends. I was having a bad day and popped in for a drink, they treated me like family, put me in a very positive mindset and cheered me up, they didn't have to be so nice, but they chose to. Everyone I know who has visited loves the place. I will most certainly be returning. Thank you so much Caribbean Bar!

Stunning Cocktails 🍸 I had a Margarita which was awesome especially with the salt rimmed glass. The Caribe Caramel was highly rated too.

Love this little Gem, we always walk down to it when we visit Los Boliches bit of a Trek but worth it. Good Range of cocktails which actually taste authentic rather than the mixes most bars use. Little pricey but we think it's worth it. Preferred the little outside seating area of sofas before the white tables and chairs were placed on the pavement though ruins the view of the beach and ocean.

The music is also on point, creating a vibrant yet refined atmosphere that makes it a perfect spot for a night out and AMAZING Gin & Tonics. Top class hospitality from owner David. My Mom and Dad so much enjoyed the multiple starter tapas food we ordered. Rioja was lovely and the whole place is worthy of a 5-star review. Decor was cool and inviting. 5-star toilets that are always an indication of an establishment. Give this place a go. Worth it.

We have visited here a few times and have had breakfast and lunch. The English breakfast is the best we have had and they do a great cup of tea as well as cocktails. The outdoor seating area is a lovely sun trap where you can watch the world go by. Staff are friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Food is excellent quality and a good variety and value for money keep an eye of for meal deals. We had a great time having our meals here and able to watch football matches. We will be back next year.

I had a cheeseburger, which was decent—about what I expected from a sports bar in this area. However, I was disappointed by the owner's demeanor, as he didn't come across as very friendly. Additionally, I noticed him smoking behind the counter, which I believe may not be in line with health regulations.

I very rarely leave a bad review but the service was so poor, so lacking in personal interaction. We waited ages to order our drinks, they were just plopped on the side of the table. 'Service with a Smile' would not go a miss. The food was very good and the cost was incredibly low, just the staff's attitude is as welcoming as a rash.

We went here twice whilst on holiday. The first time for a quick drink and snack second time for a meal. The food was nice and 1 of the waiters was lovely and had banter. Criticism would be we were a party of 5 and it was very small we struggled to sit together as the biggest table was for 4 people. We did put a chair on end but it was cramped and too close to other tables and people eating. Food overall was nice.

Very overpriced drinks menu. Pretend you are getting premium alcohol by putting the cheap stuff in premium bottles. They poured the vodka from an absolute bottle in front of me...half filled a tall glass with vodka and then coke. I would guess there where at least 2 doubles in the glass,but certainly didn't taste like it,very suspicious.

I popped in today with my kids for a quick drink and watch the game. I asked for a table near a charger since I planned to pay with Apple pay and needed to charge my phone a bit. The waiter was insanely rude as I was waiting for my phone to charge and received a quick call. She came to the table twice and the kids had yet to decide what flavor milkshake. Her face just assuming we would not buy anything not sure why… maybe not white enough for her taste? Said she could not wait much longer. This all happened within 10 mins tops. We ended up leaving and going to another similar spot down the strip. Wasn’t going to spend my money and be treated like it’s free. I have been to the place and is usually nice but this waitress seems either racist or just tired of her job. Shame, she just ruined a nice spot for me.

Utterly Discriminatory and Racist Experience at Coltan I am absolutely appalled by the blatant racism and discrimination I experienced at Coltan in Spain. Despite being well-dressed and polite, I was denied entry simply because I don't speak Spanish. It was painfully obvious that everyone else, who spoke Spanish, was allowed in without any issue. Standing in line with everyone and left outside This establishment has no respect for diversity or inclusivity. They clearly cater only to Spanish-speaking patrons and treat others with disdain. It's 2024, and such behavior is completely unacceptable. If you value respect and equal treatment, avoid this place at all costs. Shame on you Coltan for your disgraceful and racist practices.

An average club with poor enviroment. Its either full to the brim or empty, but it’s small and always plays the same boring music. Can be really overpriced especially when people steal your drink. Also the bouncers are rude and disrespectful.

Don’t go if you are English. Only know Spanish songs and don’t even know who Camelphat are … questionable if you call yourself a DJ (this was DJ Minimen). On a positive you get a free drink on entry. But when a DJ doesn’t know any decent songs you wonder what they listen to and how they create a playlist when all the pubs around the area clearly do. DJ Minimen is THE WORST!!! Don’t go if he is playing

This is a friendly place to eat with good service and reasonable prices. Risen slightly above street level it gives you a a lovely view of the sea and all in all a good place to eat.

Great food and great service. We ate here for a snack a couple times and the only thing I found is, being a fussy eater, trying to request not to have certain things with my meal was a struggle. However, I'm the tourist with a lack of Spanish. After some acting and pointing, we got there in the end. I didn't want them to waste the food. I would definitely return next time.

Not known by this name now. It's now Sunset Boulevard. Ok during the day, especially for breakfast, but of an evening the atmosphere changes and service gets lapse. Waiting on staff get forgetful😠 when it comes to getting prices correct and returning your change! Put us right off returning at any time!

Went here for brunch and had the egg and bacon toast, which was just what you would expect. Decently friendly staff, but did not really speak English. A bit shabby looking establishment. Did not accept credit card. Very "touristy" and focused towards Danish people.

We came to sing and maybe enjoy a few drinks. They did not serve drinks, and we did not get a chance to sing since there was a group of people with a guitar that had the microphone. The pub was dark and, in my opinion, not so cozy.

had a really lovely evening here but unfortunately it was ruined at the end with a fear for my daughter's safety. a bald older man screeched up in a white BMW and marched in the place Extremely angry as he left he was making death signs(slitting his throat with his hand) to my child and shouting from the street at us for no apparent reason. it was extremely intimidating and left my child in tears. I am unsure if this man was to do with the establishment but he did march in as if he owned the place and was a very worrying person

Nice atmosphere. Drinks expensive. 14 euros for 2 drinks. Bar 500 yards further along its 8.50. Toilets are in need of a make over, very poor.

This bar is nicely located on the first line, Paseo Maritimo with music and a two level overlooking the street and the people walking by, the location is good. The issue occurred after having been in a group of five people at a table and having had four glasses of wine. One factor to keep in mind is that u was not drunk or close to it. I went to pay the bill after other people had paid their bill and I was given a list of drinks that had not been consumed at our table the waiter was emphatic about it, and the bill came out to be approximately twice what it should have been. I had no proof, he had no proof. Calling the cops wouldn’t have served any purpose as the cops probably would’ve taken the side of the bar and the Spanish person. I speak Spanish perfectly being my mother tongue but still look like a tourist and that is the issue is being a tourist and, not having paid for each drink at the time but having had confidence or trust that the bar would’ve kept an honest and accurate ongoing bill or tab. I ended up paying 100% more than what I should’ve after a slight discussion but felt I had just been taken in as an idiot of a tourist at Chaplin unfortunate that the only bar tender and server person at the bar on Saturday, 15 June 2024 evening. The bartender ended up making 100% more than what he should have. I will learn my lesson and pay as I drink.

Mad bar, went last year and was amazing. Fuengirola in the summer is great for a chilled bar type of lads holiday which is what me and my friends went for. Managed to pull masses of attractive ladies every night thanks to this place. Plus drinks are great + cheap and barmaids are gorgeous. 100% would recommend going, I'd definitely go again. Also my friend pulled one of the barmaids/reps for Jackson's and karbon so it was an all round win

Good if you skew to the sports bars model. Not great for casual / romantic conversation if a game is on. (which pretty much always) We miss our Arkwrights.
