Japanese restaurant
Makoto is a sleek and elegant restaurant located in the glamorous Bal Harbour Shops. It offers modern, upscale Japanese entrees, sushi, and robata dishes with a focus on craftsmanship and attention to detail emblematic of Japanese cuisine. The warm lighting and rich golden wood create an inviting ambiance that elevates the dining experience. Makoto is perfect for special occasions or even just a casual lunch on the go.
Went here for dinner with my family of 4 a few weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about the food and service. Atmosphere was very cozy and inviting. We had a variety of plates and they were all so flavorful and satisfying. Highly recommend the Spicy Edame (not spicy at all) and the Chicken and Octupus Skewers. As for our server, Miyoko was super kind and went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. Highly recommend this spot for a nice dinner and I hope you’re lucky enough to have Miyoko as your server. Also, recommend making a reservation as it seemed quite busy.

Celebrated wifey birthday at Makoto. Elmer was phenomenal. He took care of our table and provided top notched service. Food was good and fresh. The atmosphere was perfect for celebrating an occasion or just about anything. We would definitely come back.
Marlon G — Google review
I went to Makoto to celebrate my birthday and it was such a great experience! The food was delicious, the cocktails so flavorful, the ambience fantastic and the service exceptional. I want to express my gratitude to the Manager Peter Ho and the staff, they were very cordial with me. I felt very special. Thanks thanks thanks 😊

Wow. Have. Of been to Makoto in 6 years. They have moved upstairs. Totally changed the look from dark beach like, to Asian like pink dining room. The good was phenomenal. The cauliflower, house salad, Coni salad, all well done and tasted great. The sushi some of the best ever, so fresh, the flavors out of this world. A must when in Miami.
Cliffsidedeadhead — Google review
🥢🍣🍤 Makoto delivers on flavor in every dish, blending artful Japanese cuisine with a distinctly Miami flair. It’s worth ordering a variety to share—every item offers something unique. The staff is exceptionally attentive, and whether you’re dining inside or enjoying the breeze on the terrace, the atmosphere adds to a truly memorable experience.
Harrison D — Google review
Off course Makoto's executive sushi chef himself has treated us, all dishes were very good. Few items were ordered from kitchen and my wife had enjoyed them as well. Service was very prompt and atmosphere was light and vibrant. Great place to dine in.
Yoshi K — Google review
I have been to Japan and this is on par with what you will get there. Top quality. Really fresh. Makoto boasts the culinary expertise of executive chef Makoto Okuwa. Located in the upmarket Bal Harbour Shops, Makoto takes your dining experience to a whole new level. Lovely bright colours and cozy banquettes for indoor seating or the expanded outdoor dining area and more seats at the sushi counter. I opted for a seat in the outdoor dining area. Lovely atmosphere. I had a light lunch. I had the miso soup, Maguro sashimi and Sake sushi (2 pieces per order). If you have sushi, you can either choose one of the Chef’s Combinations or pick from the à la carte menu. There are a lot of other options as well if you don't want sushi. Lovely. Excellent service. I couldn't fault it. Not cheap but definitely worth the price. Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An outstanding review for Diego at Makoto Bal Harbour Diego was phenomenal — truly one of the best servers I’ve ever had! His energy, attention to detail, and genuine passion for hospitality turned our dinner into an unforgettable experience. Every recommendation he made was perfect, and his timing and professionalism were flawless. Diego goes above and beyond to make you feel special — a true star at Makoto Bal Harbour. If you want exceptional service, ask for Diego — he’s the definition of excellence!

Italian restaurant
Carpaccio Restaurant is a bustling Italian dining spot located in the Bal Harbour Shops, attracting a trendy crowd of locals and celebrities. The restaurant has expanded its outdoor seating area, offering ample opportunities for people-watching and glimpses of luxury cars arriving for valet parking. It's a favorite among shoppers and known for its delicious Italian cuisine, particularly its razor-thin salmon or filet served in various styles.
Lovely lunch at Carpaccio – Bal Harbour classic! We shared a delicious lobster spaghetti — rich, fresh, and full of flavor. The carpaccio was thinly sliced and perfectly seasoned, just as you’d hope from a place that bears its name. The pizza had a perfect crust and fresh toppings, great for sharing. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and consistently good food in the heart of Bal Harbour Shops. Always a go-to!

The Best Italian Restaurant in Miami—Hands Down Carpaccio isn’t just a staple—it’s a must. This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Miami and the first place I go every single time I’m in town. Nestled in the heart of Bal Harbour Shops, it brings together luxury, flavor, and that classic Miami energy in a way no one else can replicate. Everything about this place screams consistency and class. The ambiance is unbeatable—whether you’re dining al fresco in the gorgeous outdoor area or sitting inside soaking in the buzzing, elegant vibe. The service is always on point: quick, polite, and well-versed in the menu. Now let’s talk food. The namesake carpaccio? Iconic. The pasta? Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The seafood? Always incredibly fresh. Even their salads are satisfying and thoughtfully prepared. And yes—the breadbasket deserves its own shoutout. Despite being in one of the most luxurious shopping centers in the country, the pricing is fair for the location, quality, and overall experience. If you want authentic Italian food, amazing service, and the kind of atmosphere that keeps you coming back, Carpaccio is it. No trip to Miami feels complete without it.

Superb place, such a nice atmosphere. The wait staff is so attentive and ensures everything comes out quickly and efficiently. The mussels unfortunately lacked flavour but everything else was terrific. This place had the best pizza we’ve ever had, highly recommend. The fortune sizes are fairly large, and we were all full by the end of it, definitely a great place.

Very good food at a great location. Amalfi salad was delicious, as is the shrimp and broccoli salad (not pictured). Prefer the shrimp and broccoli salad, remember it having more taste. Amalfi salad a little one note. Really like the magnífico pasta and the mushroom pasta.

Best Italian restaurant in Bal Harbour! I love coming here with my family! The staff is so nice and helpful. The food is delicious!! I got the Ossobuco side of Fettuccine Alfredo from their specials menu and it was perfect! We also got the branzino carpaccio which is a must-try!! We absolutely love Carpaccio, especially that after dinner walk around the shops. 😍😍😍
Diana M — Google review
Used to be great food with high quality ingredients and large portions. Prices were slightly higher than average but definitely justified for the location and food quality. Unfortunately since 2023 it’s not the same - food quality got much worse and prices just kept increasing. Makoto and Hillstone are much better choices.

We dined sitting outside in the mall and what a fun experience. Our table was in a perfect spot to enjoy the ambiance of bal harbor shops, people watch and enjoy our incredible food. Service was so attentive, food came out quickly and pasta was delicious. Cannot wait to come back.

Greek restaurant
Caterer
Atlantikos is a vibrant Greek restaurant located in the St. Regis hotel in Bal Harbour, offering an upscale dining experience with a focus on seafood. The restaurant's ambiance is reminiscent of the Greek islands, particularly Santorini, with its white and blue-tiled decor. Guests can enjoy a traditional Greek plate-breaking ritual before indulging in Mediterranean cuisine prepared by Chef Anastassios Tasos Chasekiouglou, featuring seafood from the Atlantic Ocean and Aegean Sea.
The quality of this food is truly five-star, a little bit overpriced, but very good quality. The hostess was perfect, the service could have been a little better, considering the price one pays. Regards to the hotel, wow a spectacular failure in management. In the rooms they had Pure Life Nestle water, from costco, literally pay 50 cents more to get Fiji to make a good impression, when people are dropping more than $1,000 per night per room.
Cuisine Q — Google review
The Saint Regis in Hôtel Restaurant Atlantikos is always the highlight of my vacation. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options that never disappoint. The kindness of the staff adds to the overall wonderful experience-they are always welcoming and attentive. The taste of the food is consistently top-notch, making every meal memorable. Additionally, the interior of the restaurant is very cool, with a stylish and comfortable atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. I can't wait to visit again!
Ameen S — Google review
Last Miami Spice stop before end of month and a good way to end two months a fine dining and indulging in some of the best food in Miami. The restaurant is located at the St Regis which is just a stunning hotel and the entrance lobby is gorgeous. Can’t necessarily say the same for this restaurant because truth be told, it was a little underwhelming as far as the vibes is concerned. It might be too lit as far as the actual lighting is concerned or the mostly white aesthetic but it didn’t work for me, personally. Now as far as service and food, well that’s a different story. Yoel, the server, was most professional, helpful and knowledgeable but especially attentive at all times. So let’s discuss the food and drink options I opted for… ST REGIS GARDENS: wasn’t my favorite; very refreshing but lacking a good punch. APHRODITE: this one was way better, spicy, tasty and packing a good punch. That jalapeño and Tajín on the rim made the difference. GRILLED OCTOPUS: the kalamata olive sauce on the side is fire: octopus cooked to perfection with confit potatoes…spectacular BRANZINO A LA BRIAM: Branzino couldn’t have been cooked any better with golden potatoes on the side. Now the prawn pasta was an option and I looked at some photos on Yelp: portions were small, supposedly. When I tell you my friend showed up later on and her table ordered the pasta and I was mad at how delicious and generous the portion was but when does that happen? Fish was good but pasta was better, way better; I’d go for that instead. LEMON OLIVE CAKE: I’ve only tasted one other olive cake elsewhere and it was a little better. This one was on the drier side but not the worst. Once again, service was superb, food was really good but it wasn’t a memorable dining experience. They validate your valet parking ticket so you only pay $15 for parking plus tip so keep that in mind.
Holmes B — Google review
Celebrated our 5-year anniversary here. We ordered the Miami Spice Menu and we had the cheese, salad, branzino, and lamb. The lemon dessert was delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. The lamb was fantastic(that was the highlight of our meal). Our server Johann was exceptional. He was very polite, well spoken, charismatic, and explained every dish thoroughly. Very personable and even gave us an extra desert they were testing for the upcoming fall menu (which was very good by the way). The manager came over and made sure that everything was up to par, just as your dining experience should be at 5-star resort. I would highly recommend for any occasion or your Miami Spice experience.
Leonardo A — Google review
Absolute best Miami Spice Experience! Everything was great! First the service was exceptional. Sandro, Blanca, and the host were simply amazing. They were super friendly and attentive, definitely went above and beyond! The food! Omg the food! Large portions for Miami Spice and It was sooooo delicious! I just can’t wait to go back. This will definitely be the restaurant I try twice for miami spice! We had everything on the spice menu and I have no complaints about any of them! This restaurant just made it to the top of my list and I will be back. The restaurant is located inside the luxurious St Regis Bal Harbour next to the pool. Options for indoor and outdoor seating with a decent view of the water. Valet is $30 but the restaurant can give you a credit for 15. Easy to find and no reservation needed last I was there.
Jeff D — Google review
Beautiful, clean restaurant located inside the St.Regis. Food overall was good not exceptional but good. Seasonings was a bit on the light side not sure if it was intentional. Amazing octopus, great lamb meatballs and branzino. Delicious desserts. Presentation was spot on for all the food. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Overall a nice experience. Would definitely go back again. Valet parking $28, with validation, $15.
W L — Google review
3.7/5 After hearing about the authentic Greek food in Atlantikos, we decided to give it a try. To begin, the food was great and the flavors were very authentic. From the lamb meatballs, to the squid, to the spinach, and olive oil, all the dishes were great. The lamb was good but nothing that you can’t have in other Mediterranean restaurants. The reason for the 3.7 rating is because of the service. After we were seated, it seemed like we just kept waiting around for our server, mind you, there were only a few tables occupied when we arrived. They also seemed to be disorganized with the orders and kept bringing dishes that weren’t ours which made for awkward exchanges.
Jose C — Google review
First of all the service was great from the beginning till the end. Food could be better. Everything was ok, nothing memorable. My favorite was fennel salad with orange. If you want to spend a quiet night, this is the place. But for foodies it’s not enough.

Le Zoo is a stylish French brasserie located in Bal Harbour Shops, offering an authentic Parisian and St. Tropez dining experience. The 200-seat restaurant features a quaint interior salon and a lush palm tree-covered patio for al fresco dining. The menu showcases classic bistro dishes like steak frites and trout almondine, along with Mediterranean-inspired options. A carefully curated wine list, champagne selection, and classic cocktails complement the cuisine, making it an ideal setting for romantic dinners or group gatherings.
It’s a great option for miami spice. The service was awesome. Outstanding waiters. The onion soup is good, the tagliatelle is magnifique and the desserts delicious!!! A must try!
Nati R — Google review
Food was all delicious. Only issue was the service as it was somewhat busy. Slight wait. The atmosphere is something of a "Je ne sais quoi" In Miami but the interior is a temporary escape. Very good creme brulee here. Chicken Paillard was also good, but maybe a slighlty bigger portion and served a little warmer. Flavor was perfect**
Ross — Google review
1st visit and probably the last! After being seated I waited 10 minutes before asking a random waiter for service! No acknowledgement whatsoever. I was going to wait five more minutes before walking out. I could easily say it was because I am black. The food was good.
Martie P — Google review
My favorite French restaurant in the area. Always perfect service and the food is prepared expertly. Never had a bad meal here. The manager, small petite lady, is so cute and fashionable and friendly. The Nicoise Salad is my favorite, but everything here is great. Desserts are amazing!
David K — Google review
Fancy place, and the servers were nice. My wife and I went for Miami Spice and tried different things. The escargot were already out of their shells and in a sauce with mushrooms. The onion soup had a lot of cheese which I appreciated. Both appetizers were decent. For entrees we had the chicken paillard, and the tagliolini. The chicken dish had crushed green olives and nuts, which had an interesting flavor, but not my thing. The pasta on the other hand was phenomenal - was creamy with a truffle taste. What really shined were the desserts though. We had the creme brulee and profiteroles - Absolute must try!
Luis C — Google review
I love this place! The atmosphere is very romantic, cozy and perfect for a date. I appreciate that they use real candles and not the ones with batteries. This restaurant is also good for families reunions. The quality of food is excellent. I had fish (trout). Good flavor and fresh. They put butter on the top, but is not a cheap one, so the flavor is different. Oysters are fresh, and they come in small sizes. The "frites", the meat with french fries and very delicious. Is not the regular french fries that you esta in other places. The menu has a good variety of food, like: caviar, fish, meat, fish, pizza, burger and pasta. The wine menu is small, but good. Design and decoration is old school, classic with a french feeling. Chic and warm vibes. My favorite seat is inside by the french door with windows. I think is a little bit crowded and busy in the outside tables. If this is for a date, definitely I suggest you to take the table inside.
Maria K — Google review
We had a great brunch at Le Zoo. Inside is terrific. Outdoors is quieter where you can hear each other talk. Nice to have both options. We will be back for sure. I love crème brûlée 🍮
Duygu B — Google review
Le Zoo is located on the 1st level at Bal Harbour Shoppes with the main restaurant along the curbside and additional seating in the middle courtyard area. I prefer the inside of the main restaurant because of the ambiance created by the French and retro fusion decor. I always make a reservation, but there are usually tables available, plus there is seating at the bar area (but not much). The service here is usually very good, along with the management checking in to make sure everything is satisfactory. All of the food was fresh and prepared exactly as ordered. One of the things that stands out to me is the Cold Seafood Platter - all fresh and delicious! The only thing I don't like about this restaurant is the bathroom - it really needs some cleaning and upgrading - but not enough to take a star off. Bon Appétit!

Artisan Beach House, located at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour in Bal Harbour, FL, offers a beachfront dining experience with a focus on seafood-centric, Latin-accented American cuisine. The restaurant provides a relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy tropical drinks while lounging on comfortable chairs.
From the onset of being sat to leaving it was a great experience. We sat outside with the moon shining bright and just a slight breeze. Server was attentive and the staff seemed to work well together. The drinks were to perfect the bartender is a true mixologist. Compliments to the chef for all the food exceeded our expectations. We even got to sample a Creation from him with a salmon mousse I could have eaten a plate full of that .

I had a fantastic experience at Artisan Beach House. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind. The cigars were a pleasant surprise, offering a great selection that made for a memorable evening. The food was also impressive, with dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy a good cigar or a delicious meal, Artisan Beach House delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

We arrived via boat & decided to have dinner close to the marina. We thought it would be a nice, simple dinner. From the onset of the hostess seating us, to our server who was fabulous, (sorry I do not remember her name - she was amazing), drinks were great and the food - phenominal! It was a beautiful evening to sit outside & we had a great view of haulover inlet. Everyone worked seamlessly together: hostess, server, wait staff, bartenders and were always attentive, asking if we needed anything. Compliments to the chef as everything we ordered far exceeded our expectations. To start we were served a small appetizer/dessert to taste which was delectable. We ordered the Provoleti appetizer and it was delicious, Peach, Beet and goat cheese salad was amazing and the main courses: grilled snapper and baked chicken with celery mash was mouth watering! That celery mash was so flavorful, I would order that as a side! If you get the chance, definitely worth the visit!
Shelly L — Google review
Beautiful views, amazing food and excellent service is how I can best describe this place! My family and I came here for dinner to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed at all! Even though it was a windy evening, it was comfortable to dine in the outdoor area. We ordered the short ribs, provoleta, ceviche, rosemary rolls and truffle fries. Every single fish came out so beautifully presented. Dishes were full of flavors and came out at the correct temperature. Their cocktails selection is fascinating as well. I highly recommend their Coastal Cayenne. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. They surprised us with a lovely happy birthday dessert. If you are looking for a place with great water views, top service and high quality food, then do yourself a favor and visit Artisan Beach House. We will definitely be back to try their brunch menu.

Outstanding service by Juan. Snapper was delicious and perfectly cooked. The octopus and scallops was also 10/10. But really the best was the intimate and quiet space paired with amazing service by Juan. The outside seating looked very enticing however the wind was blowing pretty hard.
Martin S — Google review
I do not understand and do not accept that you charge 8 times for something you don't produce or make. The bottle of sparkling Sarasota water is $20, when it costs $2-$2.5 in a store. They charge for a bottle of "Whispering Angel" rose $160, when in a store it's $20-$23. The food is quite adequate. The service is awesome. We had Miami spice.
Vitaliy I — Google review
Service was excellent both nights I went, both bartender made good cocktails and were very friendly and attentive. First night I got the ribeye, it would have been fine for a $45 dollar ribeye (which I understand would have no place on a Ritz Carlton menu) but it simply wasn't a $70+ dollar steak. It was slightly overdone and not as marbled or tender as you would expect from a premium venue. Second night I had an appetizer which was very good. If this place wasn't in a Ritz Carlton I'd probably rate it 3.5-4 stars, but at this price point and expectation it disappointed.

My family and I were staying on a Holiday weekend and we came across this amazing cafe! The service was amazing, the food was delicious and I cannot wait to return on future visits here. Thank you for your hospitality and the warm comforting service Cafe Vert! We have just found our new favorite cafe!

Despite the food being very good, the service was extremely poor. We had to ask several times to take our order or inquire about where our food was. It bordered on racism for non-Jews. We waited 45 mins to get very simple breakfast items, and the restaurant was not packed at all. There were empty tables when I arrived. I will say that it is a very early place as it gets packed well before 9:00am on a Sunday, by 10:00am the place was virtually empty. I would order to go from this place but would not dine in again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cafe Vert has become our go-to spot for family breakfast ! This family-run restaurant serves authentic French breakfast with the best vibes. What we love most is their extensive gluten-free menu, which caters perfectly to our needs since our whole family avoids gluten. The food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere is both warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved having breakfast at Café Vert! The pastries, omelets, and coffee were delicious and made fresh to order. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the team was friendly throughout my visit. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed morning meal in Surfside, with great quality and plenty of gluten-free choices. Highly recommended—will definitely return!

Delicious food and friendly staff. We were there in the morning, and I love that they’re open early! The coffee was fantastic, the pastries were fresh, and the hearty sandwiches hit the spot. We were picking up food for our morning flight, and the flight attendant even asked where we got our salad—it looked so good! I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience definitely deserves one.
MB B — Google review
The restaurant experience was not the best and not to my liking. I came inside and the tables are widely spread out which looked not like a cafe I would see. Sat down and was greeted with a staff, absolutely amazing kind staff who are happy to have a smile on there face and always welcoming. Ordered the French toast and I have to say, the presentation was spectacular, and even the taste was amazing. That was very impressive. I ordered fresh squeezed watermelon drink, very small and ABSOLUTELY OVERPRICED! $6.50 for a small drink! Maybe because it is fresh squeezed but for 6 dollars! Insane! Also, got some coffee. It was absolutely terrible. The coffee was very bland and it is not good brewed coffee. The atmosphere of the restaurant was ok, the restaurant does seem a bit outdated with the design and the tables has numerous scratches on it. Looking around in the corner, it looks really old and feels like food is rotting in there. The time to get the food and the drinks was very long, I get they have to get everything prepared but the amount of time it took was over the limit. People who work well with stuff like that could bring it out in minutes. Overall, this restaurant is somewhere I probably wouldn’t come back to if I am in Miami area. Food was really good, service was amazing, atmosphere was alright and the coffee and drinks were overpriced and terrible. I wouldn’t recommend it unfortunately.
Lucas — Google review
Food was very good - all plates were returned empty! There was a nice selection of smoothies and drinks, which were very good as well. We ordered shakshuka - perfect amount of heat, enough bread to mop up all the flavors. Greek salad, was very good, as well as a strawberry banana honey smoothie, and a green smoothie There's ample seating both inside and out.

Don't let the decor fool you. This place made me a double espresso that hit the sopt and a cream cheese and lox sandwich. That was amazing. As i took the last bite, i remembered i didn't take a picture of my sandwich. i rated it 5 star would order it again hope to try it again

Owned by Frank Taieb, this stylish eatery offers an impressive array of both traditional and contemporary Italian dishes. Diners can indulge in a delightful selection that includes fresh pasta, delectable fish options, artisanal brick-oven pizzas, and homemade breads.
A casual, no-frills spot that’s tasty and filling. Laid-back cafe on Harding Avenue—good food, no complaints!

Should be a nice place to eat but one of our meals was prepared by someone who clearly did not know what the are doing. They did credit half the meal cost. Avoid this place as there are others in the area that are better.

#delicious Make sure to order the tuna “rare” because if not they might cook it too much. Other than that, everything was delicious. Great atmosphere, good vibes, great attention and service. Very clean, all around A+ Pizza was very good, tuna (rare) was delicious. Very happy, been here before and will be back much more. (They are a French restaurant so don’t even try to ask for hot sauce.) Highly recommended.

The food was much to be desired . I’ve heard great things about cine citta cafe , and therefore was compelled to try it out. However, I was not too pleased with the food and service alike. The pizza’s are great , but the staff is not accommodating with modifying your order . The pasta was under salted and under cooked. I do not recommend the pink penne sauce pasta. Overall, it was a mediocre experience, and I will not be dining there in the future.

Amazing Italian food in Surfside We really enjoyed the brick oven wood coal fired gourmet pizzas. We also got homemade pastas which hit the spot! I really loved the cheese frittata with the yummiest marinara sauce. The waiter told us they are known for their excellent fish dishes and they definitely are. The sea bass was the best I’ve tried. Overall the service food and prices were all on point and we will definitely be back for more !

The food was delicious! When we came in we were seated right away and our food came out impressively fast as well. We ordered the mozzarella fritters which were AMAZING and finished in about 30 seconds. For our first main we had the pasta with mushrooms and asked to have the peas removed which they did. The pasta was al denté - typical in Italian cuisine. The mushrooms were fresh and the dish was tasty and easily finished. Our second main was the Margherita Pizza which did not look like the classic Italian style but was good nonetheless. Not too oily and not overdone. I was surprised it didn't come with any French fries or other side dish however we did not leave hungry. I would definitely eat here again and consider it to have better quality food than alot of the popular nearby competition. Thank you.

eh Honestly, how does this place stay open? I like to give this place a chance once a year. For the past 5 years, it’s been a horrible place to eat. If you go here, keep your expectations low for both food quality and service.

The Surf Club Restaurant in Miami is a top brunch spot, where you can experience the city's vibrant culinary scene. The restaurant offers a 1950s glamour ambiance and serves up delectable dishes like caviar, oysters rockefeller, dover sole, lamb chops, and buttermilk-whipped potatoes. Its extensive wine list features French and Italian wines. Additionally, the Miami food scene is constantly evolving with new restaurants making waves.
I had an amazing dining experience at The Surf Club in the Four Seasons, Surfside. From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch. The service was impeccable—attentive, professional, and warm, making the evening even more enjoyable. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and executed at a very high level. The flavors were refined, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. While the portions were quite small, the precision and artistry in each dish made up for it. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and sophisticated. It’s a beautiful space, and despite being a high-end dining establishment, it doesn’t feel overly loud or crowded, which makes for a comfortable and intimate experience. For parking, you have two options: street parking, which is paid per hour, or valet service for $35. Overall, The Surf Club offers an exceptional culinary experience, with exquisite food, a stunning atmosphere, and top-tier service. I highly recommend it for a special night out!

Chef Keller and his team at The Surf Club delivers the highest level of excellence. The food is divine. The cocktails are otherworldly. The indoor/outdoor experience flows seamlessly into the seasons. Some of these dishes pictured might be not be on the menu, but whatever you decide, I can assure you’ll not be disappointed. Whether dining solo or with a friend, the experience will be memorable.

We have been to all of his US restaurants, and all have been truly wonderful experience. Foie gras, caviar, white truffle, dover soles and perfect ribeye pairing with fine wines from Chef Thomas Keller’s kitchen, these culinary delights are truly ambrosial. Not to mention elegant service.

This was a really really nice experience and the staff was incredible. We were 4 people, and had 1-2 cocktails each along with a few appetizers entrees and deserts. It came out to about $900. Our meals were absolutely above average, but also missed what would be expected for a meal of that price tag. I want to be absolutely floored with a meal of that price, but we all left wanting a little more. It’s not bad at all, but again for the cost, it was definitely over hyped. The service was outstanding and helpful and gave it that 5 star feel, but there’s definitely a little more that they could add with the food. If recommend the true ribeye 10/10 times, it was amazing. But the beef Wellington left us all a little disappointed.

A perfect evening! Service was wonderful and atmosphere was romantic and welcoming. All of our food was absolutely delicious. My husband has gluten (celiac) and dairy allergies and both were easily accommodated. He could get almost anything.

Really a fantastic restaurant. I can't speak highly enough of the service, food and atmosphere. I'd love to visit again next time we come to Miami. I'd recommend a dish, but everything we got was amazing. We got the Ribeye, chips/dip, candies bacon, coconut chiffon cake... just delicious and beautiful. We even had a celebrity suit down next to us.

Worth every penny, once in a life time experience with quality of food that you wont eat everyday. The beef rib wellington is the best we ever had and please try the alfredo fettuccine.

I went to The Surf Club Restaurant on October 15th, 2025, to celebrate 18 years of friendship with a dear friend of mine. We chose this restaurant because of its incredible reputation, the Four Seasons standard, and because it meant something special to us. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. My friend, who is 87 years old, accidentally drove to the Four Seasons in Downtown Brickell and was already on his way back. I was in constant contact with him, assuring he was coming and even showed messages proving it. Within minutes, the manager came to my table three times, questioning if my guest was “really coming.” Eventually, he took my drink from the table and asked me to leave, even though the restaurant was still empty. It was humiliating — everyone around was watching. The valet service was excellent, the food and drinks were divine, and the servers were polite — they were just following orders. But the manager’s behavior was unacceptable. As a woman, Latina, and now a proud U.S. citizen who owns a business in Brickell, I have never felt so disrespected. I sincerely hope the management reviews the cameras and takes action, because no guest — especially a woman dining alone — should ever be treated this way.

This inviting restaurant offers a family-style dining experience, encouraging guests to share generous portions of exquisite dishes. Whether you're indulging in perfectly grilled octopus or savoring mixed ceviche as an appetizer, each bite promises to delight your palate.
One of the best Peruvian places I’ve been to in Miami. I love Octopus, but unfortunately not all places know how to cook it, this place definitely doesn’t disappoint. Ceviche had a lot of flavor as well. Tequeños we’re good and filled with flavor. Will definitely be back!

O’Lima is outstanding! Located in a beautiful place in the heart of Bay Harbour , with an incredible environment that makes you feel totally comfortable and relaxed while you are waiting your order. We took advantage of it, drinking the spectacular Pisco sour, it was incredible delicious. As Peruvian, I can say that the food was totally amazing! Delicious in flavor with an incredible presentation 👌🏼. I highly recommend O’Lima for any event, or celebration you need to attend.

Wow!! Just went for the first time and I was blown away by o’lima. We had the grilled octopus which was the best I have had and I love Octopus! It was garnished with potatoes and with a type of olive mayonnaise sauce that’s made with a Peruvian olive and I literally almost wanted to lick the plate. This was also the first time that I had the grilled ceviche and it too was delicious. We had the Taqueños de lomo saltado (wonton wrappers stuffed with beef) also AMAZING!! We actually got a little bit of everything so I’m including the photos. The owner you can tell is very passionate and the staff was very attentive. I’m so happy I found my new spot for Peruvian!!!

SoulEdge: Achtung Baby Got there around 3 pm. The staff guided me to the elevator. Since it’s my first time in that store. Nice looking merchandise and store. I ordered a latte, blueberry pound cake, and salmon tacos. Btw I love the Illy Coffee brand, that is served. As I was taken pics of the food. An employee asked if I’m reporting. I politely replied “I hope I’m not disturbing you. That’s not my intention.” And I noticed a female with blonde hair who sat across from me in the cafe was noticing the conversation. I looked at her, practically saying this conversation is between him & I. The food was delicious & chances are I might return to dine there again. The food is that good. As I was waiting for the elevator. I noticed an elegant white hispanic woman with long black hair ponytail styled walking in my direction with her smartphone. I couldn’t tell if she was filming me or herself. I think she’s an employee due to she cordially interacted with the clients as they were going inside the elevator. This visit deducted to my then ex German American gf. Cue in the songs Heaven by Niall Horan. And I’m Free by Dua Lipa Update: I ate there again & added new pics. Awesome service at Cafe on 3. 🇺🇸🇩🇪🎸✌️

Restaurant
Nestled within the luxurious St. Regis Hotel, J&G Grill is a culinary gem crafted by renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. This upscale dining destination offers an innovative take on American cuisine, featuring expertly grilled meats and fresh seafood sourced from Florida's bountiful waters. Guests can enjoy their meals in a stunning dining room that boasts elegant decor and meticulous attention to detail or opt for the refreshing ambiance of the seaside terrace overlooking the pool.
I researched J & G Grill a week before arriving in Miami and the food (we just had dessert), decor, and service exceeded my expectations. I made my reservation easily the night before (my date and I went on a Thursday), and was greeted by a high level of attentiveness and customer service as soon as I opened the door for the valet. Like I didn't even button my blazer back up and I was greeted with a smile and pleasant tone. I walked through a beautiful lobby and after I gave the hostess my name for the reservation, I was called Mr. Washington ever since. By the floor manager, by my waiter, and by the valet when I left! And they didn't assume my girlfriend should be called Mrs. Washington! That's a level of subtle synchronicity that you simply can't get anywhere else. The dessert was well made and fulfilling and my girlfriend loved her cocktail (it was cucumber something). The ambiance was great, the crowd was light, but diverse, and the music wasn't loud. It had a wonderful 60's/Art Deco/ glam to it but it wasn't cheesy at all. It felt like money and money is timeless. Speaking of which, this place isn't cheap, but it's worth it and it won't break the bank. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Miami. Thank you J & G Grill and thank you to our server Jon. He gave us the perfect amount of attention and I didn't have to chase him down when it was time to pay the check.
Rob W — Google review
I had the pleasure of dining at J & G Grill last night (9/22/15) - the entire experience, from first walking into the lobby and then taking a peek into the Wine Vault and finally being seated at a table by the window was exquisite. The dining room is beautifully decorated - tremendous attention to detail. The hostess asked if there were any allergies of which they should be aware. This was the first time I was asked that question at a dining room. I chose to order from the Miami Spice menu - it was exquisite - I had the lobster bisque, followed by the beef cheek and then a scrumptious key lime pie. The service was impeccable and the food was beyond delicious - it was so good, that I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes (heaven in a bowl). If you love fine dining, impeccable service and a beautifully decorated dining room, then you just can't miss dining at J & G Grill - it will engage and fulfill all of your senses - I am very happy to have experienced this exquisite restaurant - my congratulations to the proprietor and to the chef.

I called on the phone for a reservation at 7:00 pm - I was told they would have a table available only at 7:30 but we can wait at the bar. At 6:50 pm when we got there, there were only 2 -3 tables occupied. The whole place was empty and we were seated immediately. Cheap "hard to get " game. I chose a fixed menu of $39. The first course "snapper crudo" or in plain English -raw snapper were 3 slivers of snapper with some slivers of cucumber and some few greens. I thought it was a sample or "amuse-bouche" as they treat you with in some restaurants. Second course I ordered was skirt steak. It did not deserve to be called steak. It consisted of two 2-inch-long pieces of meat in a tasteless red sauce (red pepper-most probably) smeared on the plate and some powdered sesame seed - so fine it was hardly visible - it looked like sawdust. I chewed the 2 pieces of meat and chewed and chewed and still I had to discard the knots and veins that could not be swallowed. The best part of the fixed menu was the desert - beautiful to look at and absolutely delicious. My companion ordered the king salmon a la carte - good but, again, a small piece which looked lost and lonely without any accompaniment. Thank God for the bread (good and fresh) otherwise we would have left hungry.

New American restaurant
Hillstone Restaurant at Bal Harbour is a chic American eatery located on the 2nd floor of Bal Harbour Shops, offering an alfresco patio bar and a memorable dining experience. It has been recognized as America's favorite restaurant by Bon Appetit. The menu features signature dishes like spinach & artichoke dip, grilled artichokes, Dings crispy chicken sandwich, cheeseburger, Cashew & kale salad, and house-made veggie burger.
I recently had lunch at Hillstone, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambiance is upscale yet relaxed, with dim lighting and comfortable seating that makes it perfect for a midday meal. The menu had a great variety of options, from fresh salads to hearty sandwiches and entrees. I tried their famous cheeseburger, and it lived up to the hype – cooked to perfection with a juicy patty, fresh toppings, and a soft bun. The side of fries was crispy and well-seasoned. My dining companion ordered the Thai steak and noodle salad, which had a great balance of flavors with a nice spicy kick and tender steak pieces. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and our food arrived promptly, even though the restaurant was fairly busy. Overall, Hillstone offers a quality lunch experience that feels like a treat. It’s on the pricier side, but the quality and service make it worth it. Perfect for business lunches, casual dining, or just treating yourself to a great meal.

Spent the day at the beach and then decided to meet some friend for dinner at Hillstone. We arrived early so went to the bar for a drink and appetizers. We had some bread, spinach dip and old fashioned. The bread was so good!!!! For dinner I had the little bird and was equally as good. Service staff was friendly and helpful in making selections.

Hillstone in Bal Harbor Shops offers a delightful dining experience with a warm atmosphere and attentive service. One standout dish is the Caesar salad, which features crisp romaine lettuce, perfectly seasoned croutons, and a rich, creamy dressing that elevates it to a must-try. The salad is generously portioned, making it perfect as a starter or a light main. The overall menu is diverse, with something for everyone, and the restaurant's ambiance is perfect for both casual lunches and special dinners. Whether you're there for the Caesar salad or one of their other specialties, Hillstone delivers on quality and flavor. Highly recommended!

I love Houston’s and was hoping this was replica but it was not . Food was great but the drinks were absolutely off. Rabbit drink was way toooo sour and the Moscow Mule was literally soda with who knows what in it. Don’t think I would be back to this spot though the mall is gorgeous and worth the visit😎😎

Hillstone in Miami is absolutely fantastic. We ordered the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, the Rainbow Roll, and the USDA Prime Filet — and every single dish was incredible. The filet was cooked to perfection and with french fries by the side, while the sushi roll was fresh and tasty. The spinach dip was the perfect starter — creamy, rich, and delicious, definitely will order again. The service is attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night - soft lighting, romantic vibe, and just the right level of background noise. It strikes that balance between upscale and cozy. Highly recommend for a special evening out!

If you enjoy upscale dining with in a high-end mall this is it. Food was 5 🌟 . Warm bread plate, crab cakes and the Chicken salad was AMAZING... The only reason I didn't give five stars on service, and this is just ME being picky LOL, the wait staff just brought out the meals and didn't know who ordered what! The waitress Koko was stunning, engaging and knew the menu well. You better be ok with dog friendly dining as I'm not...

Hillstone at Bal Harbour is a standout gem that truly lives up to its reputation—and, in my experience, outshines the Dallas location. Nestled on the second floor of Bal Harbour Shops with a breezy dining room overlooking palm trees and ocean breezes, the atmosphere is both relaxed and refined . The menu features perfectly executed American classics—think grilled artichoke, creamy polenta, burgers, and prime steaks—all prepared with fresh ingredients sourced and crafted in-house . But what really sets this location apart is the service: attentive, well-trained, and genuinely welcoming, without ever feeling pretentious. While the Dallas Hillstone is solid, the Bal Harbour branch brings that extra Miami warmth and scenic charm that elevate the experience. This is top-tier execution, with stunning views, flawless flavors, and five-star hospitality rolled into one delicious package.

Aba Miami - Bal Harbour is a delightful Mediterranean dining experience located on the ground floor of the upscale Bal Harbour Shops. This waterfront gem, which opened in Fall 2022, showcases an innovative menu crafted by Top Chef alum CJ Jacobson. Guests can indulge in a vibrant array of dishes that beautifully blend flavors from Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, and Greece with Californian influences. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, local ingredients to create memorable meals in a casual yet elegant atmosphere.
Amazing restaurant. I have been there so many times . The food is amazing . However I was very disappointed about the waiters for not coming to us to ask to order drinks after we sat down for awhile. It’s an isolated event and hasn’t happened in the past . Best mediterranean place I know in Miami .

Ambiance -5 Price - 4+ Quality 5 Price-to-quality ratio - 4.5 Service - 5 Located on the lower level of Bal Harbour Shops, right next to Sacks, Mediterranean Aba is one of the best Mediterranean spots in town. Sure, some dishes may be a bit pricier compared to other fine dining Mediterranean places in Miami, but trust me—the quality is 5 stars and the service is top-notch. This restaurant truly elevates the dining experience. For cocktail lovers like me, Aba has something special. I tried their “Aloe, It’s Me,” a cocktail with two different mezcals, aloe, green juice, jalapeño, and pineapple juice. It was refreshing, smoky, and packed with flavor, and at $19, it was a steal. The hummus, especially the one served with short ribs, is a festival of taste—its warmth and richness come from the short ribs’ juices, making it the second best hummus I’ve had after Byblos in South Beach. The house pita bread is the perfect accompaniment. The ahi tuna carpaccio was to die for, bursting with fresh mint, kiwi’s sweetness and tartness, and a spicy kick from jalapeño. The braised short ribs with sweet potato mash delivered juicy, tender meat perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the mash, while the lamb and beef kefta kabobs were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sadly, I just heard on Instagram that Aba may close permanently after only two years since its November 2022 opening. I really hope they turn things around because this place is a real gem. Don’t miss your chance to experience this unforgettable dining destination. An absolute must try!

My husband and I had an incredible date at Aba Miami in Bal Harbour Shops! From start to finish, the experience was perfect. We enjoyed the short rib shakshuka and shawarma spiced skirt steak and eggs. Both were absolutely delicious!!! The bread was fresh and flavorful, complementing the meal perfectly. The short rib shakshuka is quite spicy but very good. If you can’t handle spicy don’t even dare! The crispy potatoes were perfect! We sipped on a Diet Coke and the pear gin and tonic, which was refreshing and expertly crafted. A very special shout out to Stephanie, the bartender who truly made our day special. Not only did she take our order and mix up an amazing cocktail, but she also took the time to chat with us and even took some great photos of us. Her service was top-notch, and she added a personal touch that made our day quite memorable. On our way out I used the ladies room and I was happy to see that this restaurant is so thoughtful that they provide tampons and mint at no additional fee! It’s the little things that I really love!!! Aba Miami is a gem for Mediterranean cuisine with a great atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

The host was so warm and welcoming, and he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. For dessert, he personally walked us over to the bakery and took the time to explain all of the sweets in detail. From the food to the atmosphere to the incredible service, everything was just perfect. Highly recommend!

Best pasta I’ve ever had! The rigatoni with a spicy red sauce was the highlight of my trip to south beach. The Caesar salad was also very good and the fettuccine was good as well, but overshadowed by the rigatoni. Both pastas were perfectly al dente and the portions were respectable. If you are coming to the mall to shop, or just in the area, stop in for lunch! They also have an amazing bakery with filled pastries and selection sandwiches but I was too stuffed to get anything. I will be back!

This café is excellent! Elvia was our server-such sweet woman! Everyone here was excellent. Not to mention how clean it is. The service was impeccable and so was the food. We love this spot so much! Couldn’t recommend it more for locals or people staying in the area. It’s a very short walk across from the St. Regis where we stay! Couldn’t recommend this spot more. Thank you Elvia for taking such good care of us!

Neya Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience with its spectacular service and amazing food. The Hamichi Ceviche and truffle wild mushroom flatbread are highly recommended for their flavorful taste. The ambiance, highlighted by the open kitchen, adds to the overall appeal of the place. Guests praise the delicious eggplant platter and lamb flatbread, as well as the refreshing cucumber mojito cocktails.
NO WORDS!!! From the moment we walked in we felt to good vibes of Neya. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was out of this world. All their dishes are unique and finely crafted by their chef. Pricey but totally worth it. Definitely recommend Stephanie the waitress she was so kind and helpful and we were both so happy with our choices. The highlights were definitely the crispy rice with tuna and the pistachio dessert- it’s a must!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

I absolutely loved my experience at Neya, a fantastic kosher dairy restaurant. The menu is brilliant - creative, beautifully curated, and full of tempting options. The service was excellent, the staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our meal. Every dish we ordered was a true piece of art, both visually and in flavor. We had the branzino, crispy tuna rice, flatbread, and finished with a pistachio dessert - each bite was delicious and memorable. This is a wonderful place. My husband and I went for dinner our first night on vacation, and we ended up returning twice more on our 4 day trip! Stephanie was our server the first night and she helped us make great selections such as the cauliflower, gnocchi, and sea bass. The bartender is amazing - best margarita I’ve ever had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Neya – Surfside/Bal Harbor We had such a great night at Neya on Harding in Surfside. The place has an awesome vibe: fun, energetic, and still laid-back enough to enjoy good conversation. The food comes out tapas-style, and honestly, every single dish was delicious. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve. The bar has this cool old-school, vintage look, which adds a lot of character to the space. Our waitress, Rebecca, was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. Everything about Neya just worked — the food, the atmosphere, the service. It’s one of those spots that feels special without trying too hard. Highly recommend.

Every dish ordered looked awesome. My branzino was perfectly cooked and cleverly butterflied. What detracts was the huge crowd hovering by the front door. No place to wait! This charming establishment stays true to traditional methods, crafting their creamy treats with only certified organic ingredients that are not just delicious but also safe for everyone, including kids. Their menu features an array of healthy desserts such as gelato, cookies, brownies, and coffee—each made with recognizable ingredients you can trust.
Hellooo!!! Visiting the shops in the morning we stopped by for a coffee and some gelato. I had a cappuccino with oat milk, aslo pistaccio and nocciola gelato. Absolutely delicious. My mom had classic combination of chocolate and vanilla. As good as the other two flavors!!! For all this I got charged $26 I do not how… Friendly staff!! Tks

A decent gelato and sorbet shop. There aren't that many flavors to choose from, but the quality is reasonable. They offer a number of options sweetened with stevia, if you're into that.
Ian F — Google review
I am lactose/dairy intolerant. There is a sign in the shop that certain flavors are dairy/lactose free. However, I have never seen pistachio flavor as dairy/lactose free in an ice cream shop, and this one had the sign. I asked the worker to confirm that the flavor was in fact lactose/dairy free and they confirmed it was. Being so, I ordered a scoop of that ice cream. A couple of hours later I started to feel the effects of dairy that the ice cream does have as part of its ingredients. I suffered with severe stomach pain for 24 hours because I was misinformed. The shop must be more careful of what they label as dairy free and lactose free.

We Love the Gelato at Bianco and the fact that its made with much healthier and natural ingredients is a huge plus. They have really delicious flavors. But the best part of dropping into Bianco is getting served by Gino. He is exceptionally courteous, enthusiastic and you can tell he loves engaging with his customers. Brasserie La Goulue is a delightful French café that captures the essence of Paris right in Bal Harbour. With its elegantly decorated salon and inviting outdoor seating beneath swaying palms, it offers a charming atmosphere for diners. The restaurant showcases an impressive menu crafted by renowned Chef Christian Delouvrier, featuring classic dishes like garlicky escargots, steak tartare, and delectable French charcuterie.
Oh my; where to begin? Everything was top notch - from the service, to the food and desserts to the drinks (wine and cocktails). One of things we noticed was the team approach to service. While we had a waiter and other members of the waitstaff did not hesitate to fill water, clear plates, etc. All of our needs were anticipated and taken care of. The food was excellent and the wine and cocktails were incredible.

Disgusting experience.A week ago I was there and everything was fine. Tonight I tried to go again, but it was a tragic experience mainly due the girl that was at the entrance. She was not the same nice girl that was there a week ago. After being at the line for about 30 minutes, I, my wife and my 9 year old daughter, the girl decided that a party of four that were behind me should go first. I tried to talk with looking for an explanation. But she was completely rude and took a long time after discussion to tell me that it was a table for 5 people and she have orders to put 4 people and not 3. Ridiculous. If were 6 people , OK. But 4 compared to 3, it is not fair. She was a bad professional. She spoke to the manager. He came later and offered me the worst table in the restaurant. I decided go out and entered the line in Carpaccio. Everything was perfect in Carpaccio. So don't go to La Goulue. They need to train better their employees.

This restaurants used to be one of my favorites. The last 3 experiences were very disappointing if not the worst. After an average wait of 20 minutes and seeing waiters passing by my table and ignoring to take our order, I have to call the waiter for attention to come to my table and take the order. After the order was taken, we didn't see our waiter until the end of our dinner, he handed out the bill with an 18% gratuity included. The last time it was the same and we just got up and left. On our way out, I mentioned my frustration to the manager and he said he was short of personnel and they were very busy. I told him" good luck with your customers, we are not coming back"

I took my family celebrating mother’s day private family reunion. I just had a very bad experience on La Goulue Bal Harbour; the bill was $138 and my kid did not eat tonight; my kids now are calling this restaurant “disgusting “. We did not enjoy our food at all. The worst part was the manager; very very rude. It was beyond my understanding about service. I would not recommend this restaurant if the chef working today or the manger are there.

Talk about exceeding expectations! 👀✨ This place was great; the atmosphere is sport's bar, but the food is high quality - everything tasted great. That salmon with the lemon and herb seasoning was perfect. Golden and crispy, but just perfectly moist in the center; went with the veggies, and the rice and beans, and it was the best salmon dinner I've had in a while. 👌 Very cool place. It was recommended by the Monte Carlo staff, and they didn't fail the mission. 🫡🌟

Old bar feeling, love hanging out at this place, it’s been around in North Beach for decades. Food is good, but if you are a foodie you’ll probably criticize it. But plenty of options and the meals are done adequately well so no complaints. Service charge is included but the staff is nice enough to bring that to your attention. It’s 50/50 in Miami that a waiter would notify you of a service charge so always make sure you check the bill.

We had one of the spa - whole grilled branzino ( no head thankfully!), fried calamari, fried shrimp and two sides. We also got the onion rings first while we were browsing the menu. Everything was fresh and tasty. We are from Texas so I would have liked the blackened seasoning to have a little kick. But it tasted good anyway.

Awful place. Woman at cashier was not helpful at all. And rushing us to order. I just got a coffee and left. The coffee was just average nothing like a coffee shop lot even the standard Starbucks. Horrible Service!!!!! I work at Bal Harbour shops and EVERY time I go in there, I absolutely regret it. I have experienced so many things there : waiting to be seated for 10 minutes, waited for a pastry for more than 15 minutes to pick it up, ordered one thing but received something completely different. Very disorganized team and to top it off, extremely RUDE! If you are ever thinking about going there, please DON'T!!! It will be an absolute waste of your time and money.
Kristina J — Google review
Well, I have a small personal story to share with all the people who are planning to spend money at this place. I received a $30 gift card a month ago, it was a costumed gift card from Santa Fe News and Espresso and I checked online if it was ready to use and everything seemed fine. I went to Santa Fe ready to use my gift card and ordered pizza and empanadas. However, when I received the bill, the value of the pizza suddenly increased from $18.90 to $22. I told the waiter that the price in the bill wasn't right, and he told me that I was wrong and that $22 was the correct price, but I asked for the menu and I showed him that the price was $18.90 and they changed the bill for us. Unfortunately that was not the only issue I had. My gift card didn't work either because the store had a new owner and this person would not allow gift cards from this coffee shop to be redeemed. Long story short, worst place at Bal harbour Shops. Although the service was great at the beginning, the lady who came to explain to us the situation with the gift card treated us unprofessionally and rude. She referred to me as "mi amor" which in Spanish translates to "my love", and I don't even know her. I could truly see that she didn't care about costumer's satisfaction, and that all they wanted us to do is pay and leave. Don't waste your time and money here please. The food is not even worth the price, there are lots of other good options to choose from and have a good time instead of this overpriced coffee shop with terrible customer service.
Javier R — Google review
Extremely slow service. Waited 50 minutes for a sandwich, entree and salad. Instead of answering questions about our order the staff simply avoid the customers. The food was terrible, came out cold and the prices are high. On top of the terrible service they include an 18% gratuity on the check. Even our check was wrong. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
Neeta T — Google review
Great coffee and gluten free alfajores but poor service. My son and I spent $22 on coffee and snacks and sat on the patio area to enjoy the food but within minutes of sitting down we were asked to leave or sit inside the crowded cafe since the patio seating while it is part of Santa Fe, is only for table service customers. There were other seats available and no one was waiting to be seated but my son couldn’t finish his ice cream in peace 🤷🏽‍♀️ I was disappointed by their lack of consideration.
Andrea D — Google review
Waiter was very pleasant. Crepes, desserts were good. Maybe not the best in Miami but we've enjoyed our guilty pleasures of sugar and cream :-)

Hoshi & Sushi Asian Cuisine is a laid-back eatery in Miami Beach that offers a wide range of Japanese dishes, including classic and signature sushi rolls, sashimi, and Japanese mains like teriyaki. The restaurant provides a full menu for takeout and delivery.
1000% excellent resto. The fish is fresh, the flavors well balanced, many innovative rolls ( although I am always circumspect about the addition of cream cheese to any sushi roll…). The appetizer with salmon sashimi and yuzu juice served on spoons was eye openingly delicious. The tuna on crispy rice was sensational. The service has always been rapid, polite, and professional here. I love the fact that it’s away from the hysteria and noise of Sobe. This wonderful place is most definitely worth a quick Uber ride for a great meal.

As a local, it is VERY hard for me to go to restaurants inside a resort and/or trust the tourist reviews for it. This place is highly rated, but I was skeptical because there’s hardly any restaurants around so you’re kinda stuck with what’s available. However, I was extremely impressed and surprised by the quality of food, presentation and service. My server was incredible, great attention to detail, thoughtful, and the food came out super fast and was well made and fresh— no fishy taste. So.. if you’re hesitating, go! Comparing to any other sushi place, it’s actually quite good (even if it’s in a mall type resort)

In the matter of an hour I knew that there were anniversaries, birthdays, leisure stays, and business days. I only had the opportunity to see the restaurant, but I can’t imagine what the pool, Beach, events and other staff are like just based off of the way that his service was. Let alone the hotel was absolutely gorgeous from head to toe. Took very good friends to The Grill at The St Regis for dinner. From the moment we were greeted by name upon arriving until the moment we left, it was nothing but exceptional service and food! Angel R, our server was outstanding ! He was on point all evening . The wines and items on the menu he suggested were all very very good. The Chef and Concierge also came to greet us which was a lovely touch. All in all it was a fantastic evening and Angel was just great! We were all very impressed and will definetly be back. Definitely not the best place you’ll eat in Bal Harbor. We all had burgers- they were tasty. Onion rings so so. Service very very slow. My $9 draft corona tasted watered down and wasn’t that cold. Being in a hotel the food was way overpriced for the value received. Take a walk down the street and chances are you’ll have a better overall experience.

Disappointed. We went for Miami Spice dinner menu only to find the scallops (was one scallop, not 's") and the Gnocchi was overcooked, almost like mash potatos with lot and lots of oil. We informed the staff, who simply relayed to the kitchen, offering no substitute or other option. Poor food and poor service = AVOID THIS PLACE.

Had lunch twice here with the kids. While there is no view of the beach/pool, the food was good and kids were happy. But the best part on our visits was actually the service. We were treated like family. I'd like to visit here again.

GEM Waterfront Restaurant & Terrace is a delightful gem that offers a modern and airy dining experience with stunning views of Biscayne Bay. This charming spot features an inviting terrace where guests can savor elevated American cuisine alongside refreshing cocktails. Visitors rave about the friendly service, with staff like Raphael going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience—offering complimentary prosecco and introducing diners to delectable dishes like mussels that even non-enthusiasts find irresistible.
When you’re here, you’re family!!! This restaurant is understated perfection. Everything was seasoned so well and came out quickly. The bartender knows his craft well. Wonderful patio! Great portions!! Save room for dessert!!! *chef’s kiss*

This place would have earned 5 stars had it not been for the poor service and ambience. We ordered Greek salad, Calamari, whole 3lb Red Snapper, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, Shrimp Scampi pasta, all absolutely fresh and delicious! Our night began to tank when our waitress brought our wine bottle. She popped it open and left. Not even a pour. No table water, nor did she ask. We asked for water, she brought the bottle and left again. When we ordered we asked her what’s popular on the menu, she said “I don’t know what you like.” Service was painfully slow. The shrimp pasta and sides arrived, but we had to wait another 20 mins for the snapper. Waitress finally brought out the fish on a big wood platter and left again. No apology, no additional plates for my husband and I to share. The ambience is like walking into a banquet hall. The only saving grace is the outdoor area overlooking the water and the dishes. The waitress was horrible, zero personality and unfriendly. She should seriously consider a different career.

Visited for my birthday and I'm so glad I did! The staff was extremely attentive and the food was so flavorful. The mac & cheese is a MUST try! Let's not forget the peaceful and calming atmosphere out back! The next time I want to relax with a good meal, I'll be visiting again!

Love this place, it's a very nice surprise finding this superb waterfront restaurant. They were so friendly Raphael the general manager was personally with us. Gave us a complimentary prosecco, I've never tried mussels in 16 years because my first time I didn't liked the taste, so he sent from the house mussels and they were out of this world, so delicious, thank you Raphael, I would try them again at GEM. At the end they surprise us with a fantastic mango sorbet, so delicious Their attention is very good, they are very helpful and friendly. Their Mediterranean and Italian cuisine here is very good, if you would like a great dining experience without the hassle of Miami Beach or Brickell this is a true Gem to find. Definately I will go again.

We were pleasantly surprised by how great this place is. I love being able to sit outside with a pretty view when I go out, so I was so happy with this spot. Amazing views of Biscayne Bay. GEM has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service which is extremely important to me. The hostess especially, was so nice and friendly and even offered me a wrap to wear because she was concerned I might be chilly. I ordered the fried snapper and they brought it already filleted for me which I’ve never seen before and also appreciated! Plus my Mojito was delicious and not stingy on the alcohol from my perception. We were able to walk over because we live in the neighborhood but they do offer valet parking and self parking I noticed. While we were there they were also preparing for a birthday party event and I can see how this is a perfect place for events. We will be back soon!

A True GEM! & when I discovered there was vegan options on the menu even better 🙌🏽 Enjoyed a lovely dinner here over looking the water. Sometimes you just need to be near the water and enjoy some wonderful views & delicious food. I Loved the vegetable chop soy & garlic bok choy. So yummy! Looking forward to seeing more plant based options + desserts ❤️😋

The food was awesome despite taking a little longer to get since, when we ordered it wasn't that much people there. Definitely will order the food to take out the fried fish and Spicy chorizo and shrimp pasta 😋😋❤❤love it The ambience was beautiful great picture scenery. Love the man Dj he even took some request since we were they celebrating a birthday. Our waitress must have been new that she wasn't able to handle a table of 10. I think a glass of water should have automatic been on the table for each guest along side 2 pitcher on each end of the table. The lady singer was ok but she was playing boring song maybe need to get other performers that may uplift the crowd there for more enjoyment when they come out with this Quarantine if ppl comes out they want to be able to say I'll be back.

La Birra Bar is a convenient spot for satisfying burger cravings, offering well-cooked and juicy burgers. The American Classic was a standout, although the buns became soggy after a short drive home. The outdoor seating in the plaza adds to its appeal. Visitors praise La Birra Bar for its award-winning Golden Burger, made with homemade buns and perfectly balanced ingredients that enhance the flavor of the meat. The restaurant is known for its consistent quality, welcoming atmosphere, and clean interior.
I'm not a burger type person. In fact, my daughter and I were on our way to Friday's, is in the same plaza. My daughter loves burgers and fries and I was craving spinach dip from Friday's. Luckily La Birra Bar also has spinach dip..which tasted better than Friday's. I got the Golden Burger as well and my daughter got the cheeseburger. The bun is sooo soft . I hate hard buns. I love the buns! The meat and the burger overall was great too but the bun is what sold it for me. The fries are good too. The place is a bit pricey. Our total came up to $40. There are no value-type meals so fries were separately price and only one size. My daughter said she would definitely come again. We sat outside. The people were nice. Family friendly. Plenty of parking.

I stopped here for lunch and upon walking in I noticed all of the decoration showing some of what Argentina is about (fùtbol, premium meat, etc). I was then greeted at the counter by a very nice young lady who welcomed me with a smile and some very helpful suggestions on what to order. The menu has a very wide selection of burger options, so without her help I would have taken quite some time to figure out what I wanted. I was recommended the crispy onion burger, which is basically their flagship golden burger with added crispy onions. Great recommendation by her, as the burger was delicious, fully packed with great flavor (The food came out extremely quickly, so that was a plus for anyone going on a tight lunch break). The blend of the beef with the onions and sauce they use was phenomenal. The fries were my ideal fries; crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside with a load of flavor, I didn't even feel the need to add sauce to them. My only negative was the floor leading to the bathroom was a bit slick when I went, but I'm sure that can and will be easily fixed. I'll definitely be going back for the food and great service as its very close to our new medical facility where I work out of a lot. Definitely recommend.

First time coming here. I must say I enjoyed it. We decided to sit outside and get fresh air and it was nice. I got the golden chimichurri with onion rings and a fountain drink for less than $30. Maria was an absolute joy and I’d come back just for her. Would recommend for sure. Lots of burger options so meet your preferences. If you’re near, stop by and try it out!

Just ate at this place and it was so GOOD!! This is one of the best burgers I’ve eaten. I had a burger with bacon, egg, and cheese on a nice roll. I only regretted not getting the double patty. The French fries are a nice and thick, interesting cut. The guys behind the counter are the nicest guys I’ve come across here in the Fort Lauderdale area, they look like they are there for their customers. 🫶 There is a lot of parking and the place has a nice ambiance with cool music. The dining room is also nice and clean. I look forward to coming here again.

Had to stop in and try this place been seeing them everywhere. I ordered the only fans burger and corn ribs(lime pepper) and a soda. It was $34 and change.!! The taste just wasn’t there, all I tasted was grease and cheese. Like it was so greasy and I get “smash burgers” are greasy but like it was soooo greasy. Corn ribs were so salty had the wipe off the “lime pepper” with a napkin, then it was edible. To top it off the soda machine is not calibrated correctly it was like syrup. Definitely would not recommend!! La Birra Bar do better!!!

Le Sirenuse Miami is a stylish waterfront eatery that offers classic Italian dishes, cocktails, and wines. The restaurant exudes Mediterranean charm reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast with its beautiful decor and carefree coastal vibes. Guests can expect fresh pasta dishes and a chic, classical dining experience. The restaurant's attention to detail, remarkable staff choreography, and high-end Italian menu make for an unforgettable evening. Reservations are recommended as the place tends to be packed, especially during Sunday brunch.
Great night at Le Sirenuse. You’re looking at a chic and classical dinning option here. The choreography of the staff is remarkable. Attention to detail, chef « bouchées » and great high-end Italian menu made the experience so good. Certainly not the cheapest Italian option in town, but ever dollar spent was worth it. Unforgettable evening.

My favorite Italian restaurant. Every bite had so many layers to it and it was an experience. The history and ambiance makes the visit even more special. The bar area is worth stopping by if you arrive early or have time after dinner. As a side note, valet parking is your best option if your driving. Special thank you yo Abdallah and Dario for their exceptional service.

I made the reservation 3 weeks in advance and the day of the dinner, I called them to let them know we were going to be 15 minutes late and to please hold the reservation. When we arrived, they told us that they didn’t have tables available and that this was our fault for being 15 min late. So it definitely didn’t matter that we called... so after waiting 30min, we got a table. For the price, it’s a very loud restaurant (and I am Spanish so imagine how loud it was). Service was good after that first incident. Food tastes good but the amount is ridiculous. A main ravioli dish had exactly 5 ravioli... so in order to get full you may need order two main dishes... at least those 5 raviolis made us laugh. Drinks were good but they took very long to arrive because they made them at the bar outside (and if the bar is crowded... you can imagine) It was my first time there and after considering pros and cons the food/quality/restaurant/price I wouldn’t recommend it. Plus, their valet is $16. Ridiculous that they don’t cover it after you expend more than $200 on two people dinner...

Cacio e Pepe Italian Restaurant is a charming and rustic gem that offers an exquisite dining experience. The restaurant boasts a wide selection of wines and serves incredible Italian dishes, such as Filleto Di Branzino Alla Griglia and Chicken Parmigiana. Visitors can also indulge in delightful desserts like Tiramisu and espresso. While some patrons have had mixed experiences with takeout orders, others have enjoyed the flavorful short rib ravioli.
Another "Daddy-Daughter Date" along with her BFF. Superb in every way. Excellent service, food served impeccably with humor. Octopus was memorable. The green stuffed ravioli was delicious. Dessert tray and the tiramisu were off the chart. Everything we tried was either fresh or expertly prepared. Recommended.

Cacio e Pepe is an informal Italian restaurant located in an outdoor mall. The menu consists of authentic Italian cuisine. Once arrived, we got seated immediately. The inside dining area was very small and cozy. The atmosphere was traditional Southern Italian and had an old-school theme to it. When the server came over to our drink orders, we were disappointed to find they did not have a bar, so the only alcoholic beverages you could order were wine and beer. We ordered our appetizers, and they came out within a reasonable time. We ordered Carpaccio, Eggplant parmesan, Calamari, and Burrata for appetizers. The appetizers were good, but for some reason, we never received the Burrata. Our entrees then came out later, and they forgot someone's meal. The food was alright but wasn't anything special. The restaurant did have a good selection of vegetarian options. After our entrees, the server rudely interrupted our conversation by waving the dessert menu in our faces and yelling at us, asking what we wanted. At this point, we asked for the bill and left. Overall, I would choose another restaurant. The service was alright, there was no bar, the food was overpriced, the atmosphere was average, and the food didn't stand out over other high-end Italian restaurants.

I’m sorry to leave this review but we pay good money and extra tips for this unknown Italian restaurant because its so close by the house but EVERY SINGLE TIME WE ASK for them to BAKE THE BREAD NOT BURN THEY SERVE IT TOO US EXTRA BURNT! It’s almost like the chef and owner do it on purpose. After we leave from pick up order they ignore our calls. Idk why it’s so hard for this Italian restaurant to bake homemade bread naturally without burning it every single time for the past year. Here’s a photo for paying extra for the side bread

Impeccable food and service, cozy atmosphere. I was looking for a really good carbonara in Miami and I have been to so many places; I found it right here! And the pesto, shrimp and mushroom linguine was absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent too so I cannot fault this place. You would never know it was in a strip mall, it’s hidden away in a corner, really classy and beautiful.

Very cute place, always on point food. The bread and cheese pasta are a very special detail.

Hidden Gem in a Strip Mall! Everything was great at this restaurant, but I will start, as our experience started, with the bread: crisp, buttery, and addictive. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly service that makes you feel at home. The menu has all the classics at very reasonable prices. I had the spaghetti Caccio e Pepe and it was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It has outdoor seating and it’s great for date night, a family dinner, or casual get-together. Definitely coming back!
Mary-Zaida G — Google review
Our experience was good, we only came because I wanted to try the spaghetti that is placed inside the cheese. For me, who doesn't like hot pepper, I thought there was a lot of ground pepper; my friend who likes very hot pepper thought it was delicious. The service was okay and the place is nice.

I don't post reviews at all but I had to. I don't know what happened. I used to come here a couple years ago and the food was really good. Now as other people are saying the food is bland. I just ordered today the linguine pesto pasta and it tastes totally different to how it was before. Absolutely lacking in flavor and the shrimp was rubbery. I'm thinking maybe there is a new chef and the quality has gone down completely. The food is pricey as well. I feel I did not get my money's worth. I'm disappointed. l will not be coming back.

Alexander Greek Taverna offers a pleasant dining experience with excellent service and delicious food. The restaurant has a large menu with a nice selection of Greek wines. Guests can enjoy well-prepared cocktails and recommended wines. The ambiance is enhanced by nice music, although some feel the lighting could be dimmer. Dishes like lamb chops, saganaki flambeed tableside, lentil soup, and baklava are highlights.
It's not a cheap restaurant, but definitely one of the best Greek meals we've ever had in Miami. Good appetizers, Fish was perfect and Baklava for dessert couldn't have been better.
Joel F — Google review
Overall we had a pleasant experience, but the place has much more potential which I hope they recognize and will eventually reach. The saganaki is flambeed tableside which has a “wow” factor. We felt it was too bright inside and the lights should’ve been dimmer. Nice music was being played. The lentil soup was tasty. The menu is large but the place deserves a return visit because the dishes we shared were nice. Baklava was excellent. Nice wine menu with a nice selection of Greek Wines. The only dish that didn’t have much flavor and it seemed like the kitchen forgot to add salt bc it looked good and texture wise was prepared nicely, but it was bland. Pleasant staff overall.

So sad. We ate here the first time and we thought the portions were small but food was tasty. The second time we received the smallest portions we have ever seen. Ordered for 5 people and they're was only enough for 2. Spoke to manager who had no reason and told me the owner would call me back. No call back and I am guessing this will be a short lived restaurant, the way it is run. Had potential. To bad.

Pricey for the quality. 4 dips for $18 were pretty small. I asked for a few slices of cucumber or carrots because of the gluten, and got a whole plate that we were charged $9 for without warning. Octopus is just 1 tentacle, too salty and a weird aftertaste for $24. From entrees lamb shank and keftedes were very good. Dorado fish did not taste fresh. Overall decent, but not coming back. We spend $300 for 4 people. Left 4 stars last night and just changed it to 3 because 3 of us had upset stomach the morning after.

I took my daughter out to dinner for Valentine's Day without a reservation. The maitre d' greeted us, took about two minutes to seat us at a two-top. The head server kindly removed the roses I'd given to her into a pitcher of water near the front door. These are examples of the service that marked our experience. Excellent. Cocktails were well shaken, stirred, muddled and mixed. Didn't meet the bartender, but knew how to mix an Old Fashioned and a Mojito. For her meal, she ordered the lamb chops, medium rare. I ordered two appetizers for my meal, the octopus and the spinach pies. Missing from the menu were some of my favorite traditional Greek dishes: Dolmades, Pastitsio and Moussaka, keeping their menu small, seafood-centered and manageable. Their meat, as far as the lamb goes, is prime, expertly cut and broiled perfectly. Done to a slight crust outside and tender red meat beneath. Perfect. Five stars. The spanakopita were curiously flat. They were handmade, but were somewhat doughy under the first layer of phyllo. Inside, their version of spinach filling was insufficient in quantity and quality. It lacked that sharp feta flavor and lemon to balance the egg and onion, although it did have some. What was there tasted okay, not worth a star. Octopus is one of those seafoods that I love because of it's texture. It's similar to any light meat that readily adapts to whatever you use to flavor or sauce it. It can go from being mushy to being as tough as beef jerky, depending on its cooking method. Grilling has to be spot on because of the way it tapers. Easy to overcook one end. This one was exactly the way I'd hoped--lightly charred in spots, tender without being juicy, lightly seasoned. Went down well with those big beans and the hummus, adding another layer of flavor. Delicious! Baklava was another handmade specialty. This one was wonderful with a nutty base that had the best texture, chopped coarsely enough to chew, finely enough to dissolve on your tongue with that heavenly honey-syrup. Layers of phyllo were evident without being intrusive. Another five-star dish. Along with espresso, the head server whipped up some "Greek-Turkish" coffee, thicker than regular espresso, more bitter and leaves that telltale sediment in the bottom of your cup. Great ending. The bill for the two of us was around $135.00 -- a bottle of an Italian sparkling water, a charming hostess, a gorgeous dining room and attentive service.

We were offered a $58 per person menu without having a chance to look at the menu. I asked if we can order by the menu and was told that they don’t have all the items. The owner was pushing saying that it’s much easier for a large group. (11 people) and that he will give us a lot of food: salads , appetizers and entrees. I was hosting and felt pressured and uncomfortable as this was not mentioned on the phone when I made the reservation !! We got few small salads and dips (not enough for 11) and main course. One side dish of cous cous as he said they don’t have anymore. And one rice and French fries. When I looked back at the menu and pricing aka cart - we were definitely scammed and taken advantage of. Wine and dessert wasn’t included!!!!!!! They gave us 2 platters of fruit as courtesy? They charged $58 per bottle of wine that is available at the store for $9.99. Added 18% service tip on top. $58 per person became $93 per person! Not worth it !!!

Went there last night 2/9, place was empty. Sat for about 5 minutes before the owner/waiter came over to us and he was very rude. Still about 10 minutes after that no water, no menus, got up and left and will not return. Place is very difficult to find it is inside a condo building.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful sushi experience, look no further than Pokado! Nestled in the back of a kosher supermarket, this takeout gem offers an array of mouthwatering sushi options that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Their poke bowls, especially those featuring coconut fried shrimp, have quickly become fan favorites. The freshness and incredible flavors make it an ideal choice for catering or simply enjoying a delicious meal at home.
Best 👌 Sushi I have ever tasted! Nobody can do it like he can!!

So... I came here and looks around for the sushi place but couldn't find it. Theb I had to do some investigated and found out the sushi place was in the back of this cute little kosher market so I stood at the counter for a while and was confused because no one took my order. Idk maybe I am supposed to order online or something. It doesn't make sense to me. Overall was just confusing and a waste of my time which is more valuable than money to me. Eventually I just left. I don't really know what else to say. Literally confused.

Very sad to pay 31 dollars for 2 rolls and get this. With the tempura one you get the bad taste of old fry oil.. very disapointed..

Why are you so cheap, why? Every time we buy with u ,there is no Wasabi or ginger or sauce . Sometimes we missing all three. Why are you so cheap? It's sucks 😕
