The vibe / location is amazing, the food is good, but weirdly for a ‘speciality coffee shop’ the coffee is really bad. I ordered a latte, it was so weak all I could taste was milk. I asked for an extra shot, what the bought me was an espresso-sized portion of filter coffee? I added it to my latte and still couldn’t taste any coffee. It definitely isn’t espresso they use here in their drinks, as it’s very weak and has no crema at all, nothing even close to resembling an espresso. So I’d recommend this place for the food, and their non-coffee drinks, but not their coffee; their coffee sucks.

The fish was not that bad but also not good, and the sides were really disgusting, the shrimp was even undercooked. Lovely place in Itacorubi. Looks a bit like an American Franchise but it is more than you can expect in a quiet street of Florianópolis. Honest coffees, snacks and prices. Stayed in Itacorubi for a month and went there everyday. Can’t say more.

The girls quite friendly and even the students that were there taking some coffee. We had a wonderful evening and prices are quite fair. You can park your car on the front of the place as well. The ladies working there are sooooo kind and lovely and patient. They helped us find vegan options and were very patient with the language barrier. The acai is amazing, not too sweet! The rest of the food we had - wraps and a bowl - was alright, not super great though. Will definitely come back for the açaí and the sweet service!

After I was fumbling around trying to read the menu since I don’t speak Portuguese, the gal working named Samara helped me with a great attitude and made me smile with her perfect accent when she said some English back to me so I could understand. The food was amazing and so was the service. Next time I’ll bring a laptop and work for a while. I highly recommend.

Food here really reminded me of a proper brunch in Australia! The owner has travelled extensively across the world including some time in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and he named the cafe after Lake Tekapo in New Zealand. Each dish pays homage to a different place he has been to. There’s even a monthly special where the cafe introduces different flavours including Asian dishes. November will have Vietnamese spring rolls, which we are bummed to have missed! We really enjoyed ourselves here and recommend this cafe to other visitors too.
