Nestled between the hilltop village of Casares and the Mediterranean, Finca Cortesin is a luxurious resort offering chic accommodations, a top-level golf course, and upscale dining. The 67 suites are adorned with jasmine and roses, exuding an elegant ambiance. The property boasts spacious interiors, expansive pools, exquisite cuisine, and a superb spa.
Superb course with a fantastic team of people on and around the property. Practice area was superb. The actual course setup was amazing. The area in general has had lots of rain so no buggies allowed on fairways. No big deal. The greens were actually very good but looked like they needed some decent sunshine to bring them back to their best. They were quick greens for us. 13.2 down to 6.2 we all had a fantastic day out. Some outstanding holes. Well worth a visit. Late march was our booking with a golf booking company.

This was my absolute favorite! Finca Cortesin is a hidden gem, secluded, private, and pure luxury. You feel totally refreshed after staying here. The staff were amazing, the location and amenities are just perfect, and the pools & beach club are next level. I left feeling so happy and relaxed… this has definitely become my favorite retreat. I cannot wait to get back.
Mihaela J — Google review
We played a fantastic round at Finca Cortesin. We were welcomed by one of the buggy masters who took our clubs and set us up at the range. After using all practice facilities to warm up (which are amazing), we were loaded up into our buggies and taken to the first tee. There is nothing I can fault about the place. Love it! Yes, it’s on the pricey side, but honestly it is worth it. I’ll be back for my third round next year. Enjoy!

We were at the Beach Club of Finca Cortesin. Wonderful. The food is exquisite. Chef David Rubio puts great dedication into each dish and the quality of the products are sublime. The service is first class and the selection of wines is the ideal accompaniment to each dish. A delicate and quiet atmosphere. Spectacular!

Puerto Banús is a charming town on the Malaga coast, offering a wonderful climate, beautiful beaches, and excellent sports facilities. The iconic marina attracts some of the world's largest and most luxurious yachts each year. Surrounded by exclusive developments, it features a select leisure area with high-end restaurants, shops offering major international fashion brands, and luxury items.
Just speechless. Everything a vacay place can offer. From beaches to clubs. From shopping to restaurants.. an amazing place to have a leisurely holiday…
Shukan K — Google review
Puerto Banús in Marbella is certainly a destination that catches the eye, boasting a picturesque marina brimming with impressive, large yachts. It's a place where luxury is on full display, with numerous fancy shops offering high-end goods. While the scenery is pleasant for a stroll, you noted that the bars tend to be overpriced, making it perhaps less appealing for a prolonged stay. It seems Puerto Banús is more of a place to "pass by" and experience the opulent atmosphere rather than a spot for someone who prefers the charm of traditional, authentic Spain.

Title: Puerto Banús Beach – Calm, Clean, and Sunset Perfect Review: I visited Puerto Banús Beach twice in the past few days—once in the morning and once in the late afternoon, staying until sunset. Both times were rewarding in their own way. The weather was clear, the air fresh, and the beach pleasantly uncrowded. The water was clean and calm, with no heavy waves, making it safe for both children and adults. The sand was soft and well-kept, perfect for relaxation. What makes the setting unforgettable is the view of La Concha mountain and the striking La Victoria statue standing tall over the shoreline. The late afternoon visit was especially magical, as the sun dipped behind La Concha to the west, casting the beach into shade while the sky glowed in warm colors. The atmosphere was peaceful—no loud music, just people quietly enjoying the sea. Although the beach itself is free, there are beachfront restaurants and kiosks offering food, drinks, and sunbeds for rent. A word of caution: Banús Beach Club is located right on the beach and charges an entry fee, but it is not the only access point. The public beach is open and free. Puerto Banús may be known for its luxury marina, yachts, and nightlife, but this beach offers a calmer side of Marbella’s glamour. A perfect place to unwind, especially if you stay to watch the sun slip behind La Concha.
Digital H — Google review
Nice place to spend an afternoon shopping the high-end stores. Good restaurant options. Just consider that everything is over-priced because of the location and concept. Great place to see luxury and super sports cars.
Michael V — Google review
Fancy place, fancy cars, fancy stores. Overall it is a very lively place, lots of parties, night life seems very interesting.
Vanja S — Google review
Visiting Puerto Banús is an experience that perfectly captures the glamour and luxury lifestyle for which Marbella is famous. Located just a short drive from the old town, Puerto Banús is both a marina and a social hub, combining designer shopping, fine dining, nightlife, and stunning views of the Mediterranean. The first impression is breathtaking: a harbor filled with some of the world’s most impressive yachts, surrounded by palm trees, luxury boutiques, and lively cafés. Walking along the marina feels like stepping into a glamorous postcard – with high-end brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Rolex all lining the promenade. It’s the perfect spot for luxury shopping or simply people-watching in one of the chic cafés. Dining in Puerto Banús offers plenty of variety, from fine-dining restaurants to casual tapas bars with views of the water. Whether enjoying seafood, Mediterranean cuisine, or international dishes, the atmosphere is always vibrant. In the evening, the area comes alive with stylish bars and nightclubs, making it a top destination for nightlife in Marbella. While Puerto Banús is well known for its luxury, it is also enjoyable for a casual stroll. Watching the sunset over the marina or enjoying an ice cream while admiring the yachts is just as rewarding as dining in one of the exclusive restaurants. The nearby beaches also offer a more relaxed way to enjoy the area. It’s true that Puerto Banús can be busy and prices are higher than other parts of Marbella, but this is part of the experience. It’s not just a marina – it’s a symbol of the Marbella lifestyle. For anyone visiting the Costa del Sol, Puerto Banús is a must-see. Whether for shopping, dining, nightlife, or simply soaking up the glamorous atmosphere, it leaves a lasting impression. Rating: 5/5

Nobu Hotel Marbella is a luxurious and trendy hotel located on the Golden Mile, offering an exclusive and tranquil retreat for adults. The hotel combines Japanese minimalism with Andalucian charm, providing sleek and elegant accommodations with access to the natural beauty of the Mediterranean beaches. As part of the Puente Romano complex, guests can enjoy renowned dining options at Nobu's restaurant or through room service.
A spectacular luxury hotel experience. Upon arrival Laura and the reception team was warm and welcoming. They provided an excellent introduction to the property which is so beautifully maintained. and recommended some excellent restaurants. There are over 15 restaurants on premises but you never feel like you're in a Las Vegas type atmosphere. The landscaping is magnificent and its right on the beach and plenty of locations where you can just chill On a clear day you can see Morocco across the Mediterranean Sea! The experience is more than worth the cost .Will be coming back soon!

Honestly, if I could give zero stars or minus stars I would. I’m an attorney and a partner at the law firm, and I only say that to indicate that I have the ability to spend money when I want to, and I’ve been to quite a few five-star hotels. This is nowhere near a five star hotel. Not even close. Service is lacking and leaves to be desired for a five star. Worse yet you get charges you don’t make and then you try to question what they are in they can’t explain it. That’s true the restaurants particularly. We had dinner at Nobu and Cipriani and the food was just OK and then Lena, a restaurant we never went to, charged us for no particular reason and they can’t explain why, nor did they offer to refund it right away or offer to make up for the inconvenience and the hassle of being fraudulently charged. unbelievable I’ve never seen anything like this before
Shahrooz S — Google review
Aside from a modern gym and a location near some restaurants in the Puente Romano area, Nobu Marbella offers very little that justifies its exorbitant rates. There’s no world-class service, no peace and quiet, and certainly none of the attention to detail you’d expect from a true five-star experience. If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Marbella, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This property may carry a big name, but it dramatically falls short in execution. • The beach loungers need to be completely replaced — as you’d expect in any proper five-star hotel. • At El Chiringuito, guests are expected to pay an extra €100 for a sunbed — and they were fully booked on the day we actually wanted to reserve one. • The pool areas are in serious need of renovation as well. There’s no decent pool service, everything is overpriced — a kids’ meal costs €24, including just one drink. • Overall, neither the guests nor the staff seem to be in a good mood. There are no good vibes at all — you constantly feel ripped off. The value for money is extremely poor, even in the restaurants. If you don’t make a reservation days in advance, the only option left is to eat at 6:00 PM, or the next day, or pay extra to sit in a different area — as was explained to us yesterday when trying to dine at Nobu. We were able to change rooms on the second day, but I was initially placed — with my four-year-old son — in a room directly next to the restaurants, with unbearable noise. I’ve travelled all over the world, and the standard of a true luxury hotel should be completely different. You will leave thoroughly disappointed.
Larissa D — Google review
We had a fantastic stay at Nobu Hotel Marbella. Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived. The staff were super professional and friendly, check-in was smooth and we felt well looked after the whole time. Our room was really comfortable, beautifully designed. I have to say, the cleanliness was impeccable, the housekeeping team did an amazing job. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The gardens are so well kept and it has this calm, elegant vibe during the day, but then in the evening it becomes more lively in a really fun. We tried a few of the restaurants on site and they were all excellent, great variety and quality. I went with my partner and we both loved the whole experience. The location is perfect too, super close to the beach and not far from Marbella town, but still tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. If you're looking for a stylish, relaxing getaway with great service and attention to detail, I’d definitely recommend it.
María S — Google review
The hotel is beautiful and the location amazing. The personnel is super professional and the rooms are great value for money. Unfortunately the hotel has a private members club. Which started as an amazing experience for me ended with a sleepless last night for me as the hotel turns into a night club. I was sure I want to go back but the last night just totally killed that wish for me. The hotel should have a disclaimer for the members club and that they have parties until 4 am in the morning. There was not much that the poor reception guy was able to do, but the hotel has clearly its priorities and I am not sure if its the hotel guest that pay to being able to sleep in their rooms, because that is the minimum requirement that a room needs to meet.
Filiza R — Google review
Very interesting - the hotel managed to take down my review. Well in a nutshell, we managed to score an amazing deal on their 3 bedroom suite most expensive and so we booked it for 4 nights. The expectation was it would be an amazing experience for this price. Well, we battled some issues - electricity was down in half of the apartment so we had to call reception. Jacuzzi was dirty apparently they missed maintenance service so we had to wait two days to use it so the service guys could come fix it. Room service walked in without knocking even though do not disturb was on. Construction next door was also very disruptive. Manager issued if I remember correctly 1,000 euro credit for room charges so that was alright, but that didn’t really help us get over all these issues.
Waldek — Google review
Extremely Disappointing Experience Not Worth the Price or the Hype I’ve stayed at luxury hotels across the globe, and unfortunately, my experience at Nobu Hotel Marbella ranks among the worst I’ve ever had. At over $1,250 per night and having booked three nights I expected far more than what I received. Upon arrival, I was informed that I had been given an “upgraded” room. What I walked into instead was a major letdown. The room was filled with mosquitoes and flies, and there was an overwhelming smell of humidity and dampness. After a long international flight from Japan, all I wanted was rest but sleep was impossible. The room was positioned right next to a venue with blaring music that went on all night, even though it was just a regular Tuesday. No one at check in had warned me about this. Not only was this unacceptable for any hotel, let alone a luxury property, but it also showed a serious lack of communication and guest consideration. I reported the situation first thing in the morning and was moved to a different room by 1 p.m. The new room was a clear improvement quiet, clean, and odor free but the sleepless night was already lost. When I asked the front desk why they would place guests in rooms exposed to nightclub-level noise, I was told, “Some people like to party.” That response, frankly, says it all about their priorities. Aside from a modern gym and a location near some restaurants in the Puente Romano area, Nobu Marbella offers very little that justifies its exorbitant rates. No world-class service, no peace and quiet, and certainly no attention to detail expected from a true five-star experience. If you’re looking for a luxury stay in Marbella, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This property might have a big name attached to it, but it falls dramatically short on delivery.
Chayanne B — Google review
It’s 30 minutes past midnight and music is still blasting into our bedrooms, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The turndown service was a joke, all they did was put a small bottle of water next to our bed and not even remove some trash.

✨ A top-notch experience in Marbella! The atmosphere is absolutely enchanting – lush gardens, elegant Andalusian-style architecture, and a relaxing yet refined vibe. The rooms are spacious, impeccably maintained, and every detail reflects high standards of comfort. The service is flawless – attentive, discreet, and always available staff. The location is perfect: between the Golden Mile and Puerto Banús, just steps from the beach and great restaurants. We’ll definitely come back! 💫
HELLO B — Google review
I stayed at Puente Romano with high expectations but felt the experience didn’t match the very high prices. The beach is small and poorly maintained with limited, dated sunbeds. On several occasions there was no space at either the pools or the beach for guests, which is disappointing at a hotel of this level. The pools themselves are small and dated, with too few staff to assist, and breakfast often meant long waits with food quality that could be improved. Our “junior suite” felt tired, with uncomfortable furniture and no AC in the bathroom. Much of the hotel overall has a slightly claustrophobic and dated feel, with some rooms along a public road and the better stretch of beach requiring an extra fee. The property also feels extremely over-commercialised, with branding everywhere to the point where people even try to sell you perfume as you walk through the hotel grounds. The restaurants in the main square of the hotel demand minimum spends of €100–200 per person, even for hotel guests, which feels unreasonable. While the property is marketed at the level of Four Seasons or Belmond, the reality felt closer to a four-star standard. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, and the gym is excellent and modern, which were the highlights of the stay. However, overall I wouldn’t consider ever coming back to this hotel.
S H — Google review
Beautiful facilities, tennis courts are very well maintained. The staff is friendly. Parking can be tricky as they’re not enough spots.
Brian T — Google review
Beautiful resort with very nice landscaping. Rooms don't have good noise isolation and are a bit subpar for the hotel. Many good restaurants. Kids club isn't great.
Louis L — Google review
We stayed at Puente Romano for a week, and overall it is a mixed experience. Some areas truly impressed us, while others fell short for a resort of this calibre. Firstly, what an amazing resort. You really feel like you are walking through a botanical garden. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere is serene and luxurious. The restaurants are outstanding, and the breakfast selection can easily satisfy even the pickiest eaters. The facilities, including the pools, tennis club, and beach, were all excellent, and we genuinely enjoyed spending time around the property. However, the room experience was disappointing. For a hotel of this standard, I expected more attention to detail. The handheld shower head is mounted far too low, which means you are forced to use the rainfall shower instead. Unfortunately, the water temperature between the two was very different, with the handheld being much hotter, which was uncomfortable when switching. The bathtub showed visible signs of wear and even some mould, so we decided not to use it. The towel rail setup is also poorly thought out, as there are only two hooks, both used for bathrobes, leaving nowhere to hang towels. The steamer and board were a nice touch, but there was nowhere practical to set them up. The coffee cups in the room were very pretty, but they did not fit the coffee machine, which made it almost impossible to use without spilling. One night, we had a terrible experience when our room key stopped working at around 1 a.m. I had to walk to reception, after a few drinks, to reactivate the card, but when I returned, it still did not work. After calling the hotel and being transferred twice, concierge eventually sent someone with a new card about 25 minutes later. The receptionist’s handling of the situation was shockingly poor. Another issue was the language barrier. For a five-star resort that hosts international guests, I expected staff to have a reasonable level of English. On multiple occasions, I had to repeat myself several times for simple requests such as asking for a buggy at checkout. A mix-up at the tennis club was particularly frustrating, as I booked two padel courts but was told I had booked a tennis lesson instead. Lastly, service at Six Senses breakfast one morning was chaotic. After being seated, we asked three different staff members for coffee. It took around 15 minutes before it finally arrived, twice. I understand that breakfast can get busy, but either more staff or better coordination would make a big difference. Overall, Puente Romano is a stunning resort with world-class facilities and dining, but the service inconsistency and room maintenance issues really let it down. With a few improvements in staff training and attention to detail, it could truly live up to its five-star reputation.
Tim B — Google review
Disappointing experience. They charge you for absolutely everything — even calls to reception! The rooms are outdated and poorly maintained, with visible stains on the curtains. Pools are far too small for the size of the resort. Breakfast was decent, but nothing to write home about. The on-site restaurants are extremely overpriced, and the service staff were consistently unfriendly. Overall, it felt like a complete rip-off and definitely not worth the high price tag.
Dini P — Google review
We are currently staying here untill Saturday. Do not stay here with children. There is nothing to do. The kids club is an extra charge & it’s an absolute free for all mess. I understand children play, but this looked like it has no structure atall compared to many other kids clubs we have visited. We originally booked Nobu hotel but the room was incredibly tired & filthy. There were no other rooms so we’ve been moved to Puente Romano. While the reception staff have done what they can, I am shocked, disappointed & let down by the overall hotel experience. 2 days in a row there has been no water in the room & we’ve had to ring almost everyday to request more, we have a young baby with allergies - water to mix with her porridge & formula are essential. We paid 20euros for a single BANANA to mix into the porridge. A screaming hungry baby waiting for water to be delivered is stressfull. It’s not what we expect for the price we’ve paid. Everything is very tired looking, pillows are so flat you need 3 at least. Bedding is old & thin. The mattress is definitely old & worn. Pool service might aswell be non existent. It’s also very small. Impossible to get a sunbed & need to flag someone down for anything. Not once have we been asked if we want anything. We have stayed many times before without our children & we’ve loved the experience, you wouldn’t need to lift a finger & generally felt the 5star price. The overall area is very worn. Beach, don’t bother. Sunbeds are old plastic things. Very small & looks more like a public beach. Rooms are mixed with residential properties, I can’t say I feel the safest. Stairs EVERYWHERE, using a buggy or wheelchair is impossible unless you have someone to help you - staff aren’t scattered on the grounds as much as needed. I wish we knew this before booking. We have stayed worldwide in 5star hotels, we understand what it takes to be a 5star experience - unfortunately the price does not reflect the hotel atall & we’re truly heartbroken how much this has cost for the time we’re having.

Our recent stay at VP was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, everything was handled with such care and attention to detail that it made us feel completely at ease. The setting is breathtaking, surrounded by the beauty of the Costa del Sol, and the entire property is designed to offer both comfort and elegance. Meals were consistently excellent, with a breakfast selection that truly stood out—fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented. The seafood options throughout our stay were especially memorable. The private beach area is a perfect retreat, providing everything you need for a relaxed day by the sea. Evenings were elevated by live music and talented performers, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Carlota, who always went above and beyond to ensure everything was arranged flawlessly, making our stay not only perfect but also truly personal. A special mention as well to Razvan, whose professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made us feel incredibly well looked after. In short, this hotel exceeded all of our expectations and gave our family a week we will never forget. A truly exceptional place for anyone looking to enjoy the best of the Costa del Sol.

Overall a superb hotel with excellent service and facilities.. The outstanding areas of service are Eddy's bar/terrace.. the staff there are so professional and even remember what you drink and how you like it.. the rooms are outstanding as are all the hotel amenities. The most exemplary service goes to the Concierge team who run the car valet service - they were faultless and such a lovely team - a very big shout out to them!! Where they let themselves down is in pockets of the hotel.. the pool service is non-existent before midday (so you have to get your own mattresses and carry them across the grounds) with barely any service thereafter .. whereas at the beach club the set up it excellent. The biggest disappointment was the service at breakfast (6 days) and each day was the same. Would take a while to be attended for coffee and every single time the coffee would taste different but not in a good way.. I can only describe as watery dishwater with a very odd taste.. I have never experienced such awful coffee and am mystified at how they can get this so wrong.. a good coffee is a must and only coffee drinkers will appreciate this. Also when requesting an additional coffee it would always be over 10 mins to be served and then mostly undrinkable .. you should be serving excellent coffee! The service at breakfast also is severely lacking together with the understanding and speaking of English - poor! The hotel reception staff should have a better English language ability - I was surprised. However did thoroughly enjoy our stay and would definitely return but if you could improve on the above then you would be operating an outstanding hotel which in our opinion would be faultless.

We stayed there for two nights and it was truly magical! We had drinks at the bar and spent the mornings at the breakfast table for quite some time. Taking in the beautiful views and enjoying the best service! We also enjoyed the spa which is a definite must! We did all the circuits. It was a really nice experience overall! Enrique at the parking service was our favourite staff member!

I had an incredible experience at the Villa Padierna spa! From the moment we arrived, everything felt serene and luxurious. The steam rooms, saunas, and salt baths were absolutely amazing! Very relaxing and beautifully maintained. I originally planned to visit with my brother, but he couldn’t make it, so a friend joined me instead, and we both had a fantastic time. The staff were welcoming and professional, and the entire atmosphere was peaceful and rejuvenating. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a truly elegant setting!

We have spent one week in paradise. All aspects of this hotel are perfect: it is situated in a fantastic area with beautiful landscapes, the staff are friendly and always prompt to serve the guests, and the restaurants offer excellent food. The breakfast is the best I’ve seen so far, with a wide variety of fruits, juices, and other fresh, high-quality options. The hotel has a private area on the beach, with everything you need to enjoy a wonderful time by the sea. I especially loved the excellent seafood options. In the bars and restaurants, you can enjoy great music and professional singers. In summary, my family and I had a fantastic time at Anantara! It is a very good choice for enjoying the Costa del Sol.

I decided to spend my birthday at this special resort. I love golf and the courses were truly special. The Flamingo course is based around the hotel. The Alferini Course is very close. The short course was fun and a great place to warm up. The resort also had an excellent practice area of which you need to get a ride, the hotel provides this service. Besides the absolute beauty of this property the staff is special. The treat you like family and make you feel like you are at home. Diego and Esteban the bellman were awesome. Celine at the check in gave us an orientation of the property. Adolfo and Jose Luis at the bar provided spectacular service and attention. At the Caddy Master Issac was super attentive. Last but not least , Jackson at the Caddy Master was the unbelievable and truly a special person! My wife and I will definitely return to this magical property next year. It will be a place that I will comeback to many times in the future. Oh and the breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had and I have traveled the Globe!!

Amazing service and location my parents stayed here for their anniversary. I wanted to specifically Mention a particular employee named Alex who works by the pool. He was so hospitable and made us feel welcome during their stay. We will definitely be back soon!

This property is magnificent!! The food and service are great. The pool side service is spectacular and Adrian R. was THE most attentive service provider ever. Nestled within a tranquil beachfront setting, Marbella Club Hotel offers luxurious accommodations, upscale dining options, and a chic spa. The hotel's renowned restaurants boast Andalusian cuisine crafted by the talented chef Juan Galvez, featuring a diverse menu of local and international dishes.
More Than a Stay – A True State of Mind ★★★★★ Marbella Club isn’t just a hotel — it’s a feeling. A rhythm. A completely different standard of luxury that you rarely find, even in the most prestigious places. From the moment we arrived, it was clear: this isn’t about flashy glamour. It’s understated elegance, deeply rooted in heritage and soul. The entire property is breathtakingly beautiful — perfectly manicured gardens, timeless architecture, and a layout that feels more like a private village than a resort. Every corner has character. Every view is calming. Our suite was pure perfection — spacious, refined, filled with natural light, and designed with a quiet sense of luxury that speaks for itself. Everything felt intentional, from the linens to the lighting. But what truly sets Marbella Club apart is the service. This is not just staff — these are hosts. Warm, intuitive, and effortlessly attentive without ever being intrusive. You don’t even need to ask — they already know. Every interaction felt personal, not rehearsed. There’s a serenity to this place that’s hard to describe. Whether you’re having breakfast under the bougainvillea, relaxing by the pool, or walking to the beach club — you feel completely at ease. This wasn’t a stay. This was a reset. We left feeling lighter, inspired, and already planning our return. Marbella Club doesn’t compete with other hotels — it transcends them.

This feels like a dreamresort and the best we ever visited. Everything is so well-mainted, clean and fresh smell. It was such a great pleasure to make a visit there. So many facilities like a wellness spa, kidsclub and you can walk straightaway into the beach and clear sea. Even the pool and bar is amazing. Beautiful location and awesome service from the staff, they so friendly and helpful. As a guest you truly feel welcome. This hotel even offers a few shops from famous brands.
Gina S — Google review
The service is very good — everyone is extremely attentive all the time. However, the room was quite outdated for what you would expect from a hotel of this category. The furniture looks old and very worn, and the décor is rather unattractive. The food offered through room service leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering the prices. A Caesar salad costs almost €40, and there’s really nothing special about it — I’d even dare to say the one from McDonald’s tastes better. On the positive side, the Kids Club is absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. All the girls and boys who work there are truly professional and incredibly kind and loving with the children — they do an excellent job. The surroundings are beautiful and picturesque, and there’s always something going on in the evenings. The staff is VERY friendly, and there are plenty of services available. But honestly, I wouldn’t return, as the value for money just isn’t worth it.

Terrible service and security very disappointing stay I stayed at Marbella Club Hotel for 4 days in room 266. During our stay, someone stole €400 from my bag inside the room, and my friend also had $600 and £100 stolen. We immediately reported it, but the staff did absolutely nothing. No apology, no investigation, no support just silence. The service overall was terrible. Room service took over 2 hours to deliver food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold and poorly prepared. For a hotel with this reputation, I expected much better. But instead, we felt unsafe, disrespected, and completely ignored. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The lack of security and basic service is unacceptable.

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Marbella Resort! We ordered two salmon dishes, one grilled shrimp, and a pizza, followed by refreshing juices and teas — every single item was perfectly prepared and delicious. Special thanks to Ratna, who truly made the evening exceptional with her warmth, professionalism, and constant attentiveness. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy, and her friendly personality left such a positive impression on us. Irene was also wonderful, providing attentive service with a genuine smile that made us feel at home. A big thank you as well to Chef Reda — the flavors of each dish were spot on, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the passion and skill that went into the food. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were all 5/5. Ratna especially deserves recognition for making the evening truly memorable. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Dined at "the bistro", staff were incredibly kind & made the entire experience very special. Dined with two kids (11 & 13), both loved the experience, ambience & meal. It is fine - you must 'dress for dinner', which is a lovely reminder to pause & mark the occasion as something special.

We had a fantastic stay at LaFonda. If you don’t care for a pool this hotel is a must. Right in the heart of the old town Marbella. The staff and the breakfast superb. Great rooftop bar and restaurant, with live music. The rooms are beautiful, beds very comfy with air con. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, everything was outstanding. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. On the day we were leaving, they even prepared a little snack box for our 2-year-old—without us even asking—which was such a thoughtful touch. Breakfast in the charming patio was a real highlight, and the breakfast team were just as wonderful—so kind and attentive. Our room was beautiful, spacious, spotless, and had everything we could possibly need. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended, and the location in the heart of the historic centre is simply perfect

La Fonda is truly one of the most stunning hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The level of detail and personalized service is unmatched. My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of Old Town, within easy walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and only about a 10-minute walk to the beach. The staff is exceptional. There’s a 24/7 concierge service you can message for anything - from restaurant reservations to curated activity suggestions, which made our stay even more seamless. The hotel’s restaurant is also fantastic, and the breakfast was a highlight every morning. The overall aesthetic of the hotel is luxurious and thoughtfully designed - it creates an atmosphere that’s both elegant and welcoming. We can’t wait to return.

A boutique haven in Old Town Marbella, perfect for a peaceful retreat. I loved the cluster of trees in the courtyard — a lovely view from my room that added to the charm. I worked here during an Erasmus transfer through culinary school sometime around 2013/14. I did not stay in this hotel, however i am leaving a 5-star review because of one person and one person only. The hotel Manager/Director. Unfortunately i don't remember your name sir but i will always remember your kindness. This was a man who would drop everything and focus on his employees individually. I was constantly asked if i was happy (This stuck with me the most). Back then i thought he may be going a little overboard with my wellbeing but as soon as i left Spain and got a job in my home country (and many more after that) i realized that there was nobody that would match his kindness and big heart. Quite frankly nobody cares about his employees as this man does. Sir if you're still working here, i hope you get to read this. Thank you for having us and thank you for showing us how a human should act, even in a position such as yours.

Hotel is very nice, location good, architect did a nice job but service is not Kempinski standart at all. I suffered food poisoning despite I was eating only in hotel for longer than week. On balcony of the room found dead bird, which was there long time. Skeleton left. Ants found on balcony and in the toilet, ice cream by pool sold melting with storage temperature -7 degrees Celsius. And all does not seem to bother anybody from the hotel. Shame on management of the hotel, this is failure of your control mechanisms. And when guest suffers diarreha from your food, you do not care for him at all. No offering of doctor, diet food, nothing. Refresh: After complain diet food was brought to the room

Great hotel for a family trip where you need the beach. Note that the beach is public. Many shops and supermarkets around but you need a car to go to. service is good but the facilities quality and cleanliness can be better and renovated as the hotel is old.Gym is good with variety of equipment which are techno gym.

The hotel finishing is very old and the rooms are as good as a 4 star hotel. The beach near the hotel is soooo bad, no sand and full of wood particles and stones. You can not walk in the beach without a shoes. The kids activities is limited to 4 years and above so a 3 years not allowed. The name of the hotel and the pictures in the web does not reflect the reality that you will see in your eyes. Not recommended to stay as 5 star.
MAH S — Google review
I am not recomending this hotel at all. Unfortunatelly it needs total reconstruction. Rooms are more then used, carpets are not washable anymore, for all hotel is there one restaurant, stuff is smilling, but not doing anything for you. Breakfast is ok, but not Kempinski standard. Because the airco is crazy loud, we can switch it on only when being in the room, but not at night. If yes, there is no possibility for sleep, how loud it is. When arrived, I needed to call for vacum cleaning, because it absolutelly wasn’t and ordered and prepared bottle of champagne and fruit was as well not on the room. Issue with one restaurant in all hotel is huge - everyday the same … but yes … menu is changed for lunch and for dinners. When this place will be reconstructed, empoyes will be really doing something instead of just smilling, I will love to come back, because of the view and distance to Marbella.
Kateřina L — Google review
Terrible experience – avoid this place! I had a horrible time at Kempinski Resort. First of all, their staff pushed my friend — completely unacceptable and aggressive behavior. On top of that, we were subjected to racist treatment, which is beyond disappointing for a place that claims to be a luxury international brand. They advertise that it’s a kid-friendly resort, but after I drove an hour to get there, I was told I couldn’t enter because I didn’t have an adult with me — even though I’m old enough to go on my own. The place was completely empty, yet the security guard told me “it’s full, all guests are sitting here,” which was clearly a lie to keep me out. Save your time and money. This place is unwelcoming, dishonest, and clearly not what it pretends to be.

What can I say? THE best hotel we have stayed in many a year. As soon as we entered reception, all staff tried to make eye contact in order to help us check in. Absolutely not the norm in all other places. Lots of pools, service at the pools. Even someone comes around to clean your sunglasses. Food excellent. Service by staff exceptional. Location and views beautiful. Simply amazing and we will be back.

Our recent stay at Ikos Andalusia was truly exceptional, exceeding all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attentiveness and genuine friendliness of every single staff member. Nothing was too much trouble, and their dedication to ensuring a perfect holiday was clear to see. We want to give special shout-outs to a few individuals who made our stay even more memorable: Bea at the ice cream hut by the family pool was amazing everyday, Tomas the pool waiter was incredibly efficient and friendly, and Laura, Mercedes, and Isabel from the kids' club were fantastic with our daughter. An extra special mention must go to Anita from Guest Services. She was absolutely incredible throughout our stay, going above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. We are parents of an autistic daughter, so finding a hotel with suitable facilities is paramount, and Ikos Andalusia was absolutely perfect for her. The entire resort, from the pool areas to the dining options, felt incredibly accommodating. The kids' club, in particular deserves immense praise. They were extremely understanding and accommodating of her needs, and nothing was too big of an ask. This level of support truly allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing our daughter was happy and well-cared for. We cannot recommend Ikos Andalusia enough! This hotel is a true gem, and we will absolutely be back at the next possible opportunity. Thank you for an unforgettable family holiday!

Beautiful resort and rooms are lovely and spacious. We had the deluxe room with the private pools and restaurant which was worth it and so nice tk have with kids. The food was much better than expected and the low depth of the pools made it so nice and easy to relax as we knew our toddler wouldn’t be able to get into trouble with how shallow the pools were. Some restaurants and food were better than others but overall great and having the buffet as an option was nice when we needed a quick meal.

Really lovely stay at Ikos Andalusia. We stayed as a family of 3 for 10 nights. There is plenty on offer all day long, from quality food and drinks to coffees, entertainment and exercise classes. It’s a wonderful place to relax and reset. The staff are wonderful, helpful and all work very hard! I hope the staff are well looked after and taken care of as they take care of us guests so well. The food is quality from clearly excellent chefs all around, buffet and restaurants. It’s also great for kids and has a quality kids club! Not all guests are friendly but that’s usually what comes with a high end resort, ego’s can be big! But most are friendly.. the evening entertainment shows are brilliant, the singers, dancers, flamenco! 💃 My only slight criticism is the original room we were given was not quite what we booked, so we changed after a few nights, no problem!.. The beach isn’t amazing, I would say I’ve seen better beaches at other resorts but that’s the only things I can mention. It was a wonderful stay! We will be back!!

Ikos Andalusia is pure luxury from the moment you arrive. The resort is beautifully designed, perfectly maintained, and offers a level of service that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and cared for, always with a smile. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with incredible views. Dining is top-tier, with several à la carte restaurants serving truly impressive meals — all included. The beach is peaceful and private, the pools are stunning, and everything runs so smoothly you’ll forget the outside world exists. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to — again and again.

We are just ending our lovely stay at Ikos Andalusia, and overall had a very positive experience. The resort has a genuinely welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, with beautifully kept grounds and a thoughtful layout that makes it easy to unwind. There are multiple pools throughout the resort, including a dedicated children’s pool and splash pad near the main building, which is perfect for families. The spa is fantastic — calm, well-appointed, and a real highlight of the stay. Another great feature is the large selection of bikes available to hire, offering a great way to explore the surrounding area at your own pace. The beach is attractive, though worth noting that it’s quite rocky when entering the water — beach shoes are highly recommended for comfort. Dining was mostly a strong point. I’d especially recommend the Sensations restaurant, which was excellent — if you can get a reservation, it’s well worth it. That said, not all dining experiences were consistent. The Italian restaurant unfortunately suffered from poor service, which didn’t quite meet expectations for a resort of this standard. More broadly, service throughout the resort could at times be a little inconsistent. While many of the staff were warm and attentive, there were moments where things felt disorganised. However, with over 1,000 staff, it’s understandable that maintaining consistent training and service levels is a challenge, and many team members clearly work hard to deliver a good experience. All in all, Ikos Andalusia offers a high-quality, relaxing holiday with excellent facilities and a beautiful setting. A few service hiccups aside, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would definitely consider returning.

I want to highlight the safety allowed by the food and beverage team, with strong gluten constraint we felt safe and enjoyed our experience as much as possible, I never found a place so keen to apply special protocols to secure the diet is respected. That’s a true relief and it really makes it easier to enjoy vacations. Especially when all of the amenities and services are top level. 👌

The staff is friendly, professional, and discreet — always there when you need them, yet never intrusive. My room was spacious and beautifully prepared, with fresh flowers, delicious chocolates, and thoughtful details like a towel placed on the floor so my feet wouldn’t get cold. The bed was incredibly large and comfortable, with soft bedding that made it hard to leave in the morning! I was also deeply touched by the farewell gift and the bottle of water waiting for me in my car — such kind gestures that reflect the attention to detail and care this hotel provides. This was a truly wonderful experience, and I’m already looking forward to returning in October — summertime in Spain is a bit too warm for me, but Vincci Aleysa is a place I’ll gladly come back to any time of year. We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of July having stayed at a sister hotel in Málaga (which was lovely, see my other review). What a beautiful oasis of an hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we experienced wonderful, friendly professional service from the great team at the hotel. The rooms were fabulous. Generously proportioned, beautifully fitted out and with a fabulous balcony overlooking the the section of the beach with the hotel's sunbeds. Food was consistently top quality. Breakfast and dinner can be eaten in the restaurant or on the terrace, the latter being lovely to sit on at dinner and watch the sunsets. This is a small (37 rooms) boutique hotel the quality of which is, I think, unmatched in that locale. It has easy access to the promenade, via a lift down from the main pool area. A small gym and a spa as well as a garden terrace with sunbeds and a small pool with jacuzzi. It is rare to find a place which was so well run, with such good staff and excellent food and accommodation. We left feeling that it was one of the best places that we have stayed and it made a lovely end to our holiday.

Our Second Home! We truly consider Vincci Aleysa our second home! This was our second visit, a full seven days of pure joy, and once again, the experience exceeded all expectations. A heartfelt thank-you to Isabel for making everything so special! The staff here feel like family. There’s truly nothing they wouldn’t do to make our stay memorable. A huge shout-out to both Carlos', Lola, Alfonso, José, Cristina, Pepe, Sonia, Nacho, Marta, Belén, and the kind gentleman who sprinted down the stairs to beat us to the beach with floats for the kids — you are all simply amazing! And the food — just incredible. Every meal was delicious, and the kitchen even prepared special dishes just for us (like my five-egg omelette!). But the highlight, as always, was the Beef Pho — our favourite from our first stay. I’d been talking about it for an entire year, and they still had it on the menu! From start to finish, every moment at Aleysa was filled with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. The room was exceptional, but it’s the people who make this place truly unforgettable. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, to everyone at Vincci Aleysa for another wonderful family holiday. We’re already counting down the days until we return. If there were more 5 stars to give, I would certainly rate this Hotel much higher. From the first arrival with a welcome drink, to wonderful, well-maintained, and spacious accommodations, to beautiful environment you truly feel you are in 5-star resort. The entire staff is extremely helpful and friendly, ready to assist with your every request. And to top it off, breakfast and dinner are absolutely unforgettable, on par with many Michelin class establishments. We will be certainly returning here again and very soon !

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Vincci Aleysa. Sonia and Martha were especially polite and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful, our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a lovely sea view. The restaurant staff were also very attentive and added to the overall great service. All in all, this is an excellent hotel, and we will definitely be returning.

From check-in till check-out we had a fantastic time at Aleysa which was due to the room, the service, the location and food & drinks. The friendly service, the facilities, the room, the view is really 5 star quality. Nothing is too much and they are really interested in us as guests and willing to do a lot so it will be an unforgettable experience. We'll they succeeded and we will definitely come back to this hotel. A big thank you to all Aleysa staff members for making our stay an incredible anniversary. We will meet again.

Just back from a family stay in this superb hotel. Our room was amazing breakfast was great. The pool facilities are beautiful. However the highest praise must go to the staff who were just brilliant. It was our daughter’s birthday while we were there, they all wished her happy birthday and made a fuss of her at breakfast. She said she felt like a VIP. Thank you again and I highly recommend this hotel

La Zambra Resort - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is a newly opened five-star cocoon-like retreat in Mijas. The resort boasts a comforting color scheme, natural fabrics, and smooth, curved lines creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation. Guests can enjoy the jasmine-scented patio of the wellness area, tapas in the Picador bar, or poolside at La Bartola.
We had a fantastic stay at La Zambra Hotel Mijas. The hotel is very family-friendly, yet retains a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our children loved the swimming pools—one for kids and a separate one for adults—making it perfect for everyone. The facilities are excellent, including three restaurants, a cocktail bar, a well-equipped gym, a kids' club, and an amazing SPA centre for ultimate relaxation. The surrounding mountains offer breathtaking views, especially at sunset, creating a memorable backdrop. Our spacious rooms provided stunning views and plenty of comfort. Breakfast was also outstanding, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Highly recommend for a family getaway with top-notch amenities and beautiful scenery!

From the moment we walked in the door the experience has been incredible. Everyone is so friendly and offer to help in every way. The rooms are beautiful, perfectly curated. We have eaten at every restaurant on site and they are all so good. After traveling to multiple cities and local resturants we can say fissure the food and experience at the resturants are better than anything else we have found. The spa is also incredible. So many services and we have tried a dozen. The spa staff are so kind and very talented. We don't want to leave and will definitely come back.

We recently had our wedding at this venue during the high season, and overall, it was an incredible experience. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our big day truly special. Lorena, our event coordinator, was amazing to work with. She was organized, professional, and attentive to every detail, which made the planning process smooth and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, everything ran perfectly thanks to her guidance and support. The food coordinator also did an outstanding job—every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests are still talking about the food! And Tomas, our bartender and mixologist, was on point all night. The drinks were creative and perfectly crafted, and his friendly, professional service elevated the entire experience. The staff as a whole were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. We truly felt taken care of from start to finish, and the level of service we received was absolutely 5-star. The only thing to note is that because we were there during the high season, the dinner-time restaurant outside of our private event did get quite busy. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to be aware of for those planning during peak times. Overall, we highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-organized, and memorable wedding experience!

Outstanding Service! I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel resort and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the stunning property and facilities. What truly sets this hotel apart is the incredibly friendly and professional reception team. They made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout my entire stay. I must give special recognition to Nelson at reception, who went above and beyond when I needed medical assistance. His help was tremendous, and his genuine care and quick response made all the difference during a stressful moment. It's staff members like Nelson who turn a good hotel into an exceptional one. The combination of beautiful accommodations, excellent amenities, and most importantly, staff who truly care about their guests makes this resort outstanding. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a memorable stay with service that exceeds all expectations. Thank you to Nelson and the entire team for making our visit so special!

My stay at La Zambra Resort was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel truly offers top quality in every detail. The rooms are uniquely beautiful, combining comfort with stunning design, and the spa is absolutely perfect for relaxation. The pool area is gorgeous and creates a serene atmosphere to unwind. Everything feels flawless here, from the service to the facilities. As a Hyatt Globalist, I also really appreciated the thoughtful little extra touches that made my experience feel even more special. La Zambra is a true gem, and I can’t wait to return!

We have been coming to Hotel La Zambra for many years, and every stay is truly a special experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, elegant, peaceful, and filled with an atmosphere of warmth and attention to detail. A big thank you to the entire team — whether at the reception, the bar, the restaurant, or the pool — everyone is incredibly friendly, professional, and caring. You can feel that they genuinely enjoy what they do. A special mention goes to Diego from the restaurant. He is not only kind and professional but also warm-hearted, funny, and exceptionally attentive. His wonderful energy made our dinners and breakfasts truly delightful — he made us feel welcomed and cared for in the most beautiful way. Thank you to the whole La Zambra team! El Fuerte Marbella is a historic 5-star hotel located on the Costa del Sol, offering polished resort rooms with stunning sea views. The hotel combines casual luxury with an exclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Its warm Mediterranean character is reflected in its classic interior design by prestigious Chilean designer Jaime Beriestain's studio. The hotel offers first-class gastronomy, professional service, and significant improvements for an exclusive experience.
I had such a lovely stay at El Fuerte. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful — their warmth really stood out and made everything feel easy and welcoming from the start. I loved the artistic style and attention to detail in the design — the interiors were inspiring without feeling overdone, and the whole space had a calm, creative energy. The gardens were absolutely beautiful — lush, peaceful, and perfect for quiet morning breakfasts. The food was another highlight: the restaurants had great variety, and the in-room dining was honestly so good — flavorful, well presented, and just what I needed when I wanted to unwind in the room. The rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable, and I appreciated how seamless everything was — getting to the pools and beach was effortless. It really felt like the kind of place that takes care of the little things so you can truly relax. I’d definitely come back.

The hotel was incredibly good. Beautiful facilities, close to the beach and just gorgeous. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection and everything was freshly prepared. The staff were also great, especially Zani who gave us a very warm welcome and was always there for us. I will definitely be back!

Excellent Hotel with a fancy appearence. Even the entrance is gorgeous. What a nice welcome! They own an executive art gallary and several restaurants with great cuisine. The view from the rooftop is amazing by day and night. The hotel is very central and close to the beach. Their facilities offer a great time for all kind. The staff is very friendly and cooperate. I truly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful 5 star hotel. I absolutely loved my time here. The hotel is so clean and spacious. It has many pools, with a beautiful rooftop pool. The staff were fantastic and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. My only complaint is that the guy working at the pool moved my towel along with my clothes / hat when I had gone up to my room for some lunch for 30 mins. I couldn't find my stuff for ages and he had seated someone else on my lounger. I found that strange.
Stephanie P — Google review
Amazing service, food, and facilities — truly 5-star. Although I enjoyed the service and facilities, my phone was stolen on the hotel’s beach area. I was surprised to see that the so-called “private” beach is only separated from the public area by a rope, which makes security very weak. For a 5-star property, this is unacceptable. I expect to know what steps will be taken to address this and ensure it doesn’t happen again.
Alexia S — Google review
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles. Zani was incredibly helpful, guiding us on what to do in the area and recommending great places to eat. Every time we saw him, he welcomed us kindly, checked in on how our stay was going, and asked if we needed anything. The entire staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome.
Sinan A — Google review
What a marvelous hotel! The room is clean, comfortable and big which we shared the three of us. The staff is so nice and the location is great. Right at the promenade with a few sunbeds at the beach but we stayed at the pool area. We will definitely come back!
Duygu C — Google review
El Fuerte Marbella is overall a very beautiful and well-located hotel. The ambience is calm and relaxed, perfect for families and couples (not so much for younger crowds). Amenities are excellent, the atmosphere feels luxurious, and the overall quality of guests is high. However, our experience was not flawless. On the very first day, we had an unpleasant encounter at the pool: a server was rude to us and refused to serve us, which was surprising for a hotel of this standard. Breakfast itself was amazing in terms of food quality and variety, but the service left us disappointed. We were repeatedly seated at poorly located tables (under the sun, in corners, or inside), even though better tables were clearly available. Each time, we noticed that prime tables with views were being given to Spanish-speaking guests. Unfortunately, this gave us the impression of discriminatory treatment, which should not happen in a luxury hotel. A particular issue was with a staff member named Fernando, who seemed to be in charge of seating. When we politely refused an unsuitable table, he insisted there were no alternatives and simply walked away, which felt dismissive and rude. Another unpleasant point is that several servers openly asked us for tips. We are generous travelers and usually always tip, but when staff directly request it, it creates discomfort and does not match the level of service expected from a five-star hotel. Overall, while the property itself is stunning, these repeated service issues — rudeness, dismissive behavior, poor seating treatment, and direct tip requests — left us with a negative impression. We travel frequently and blog about our experiences, and unfortunately this stay will impact our recommendation. For the high price point of this hotel, the service quality did not meet expectations. Location wise it is far from main attractions. (20-30 mins ~30 euro one way )

Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá is a luxurious five-star beachfront resort in Marbella, offering lavish accommodations with stunning sea views. The hotel boasts spacious rooms, three pools, and a top-notch spa for ultimate relaxation. Guests can indulge in Michelin-star dining at the on-site restaurants or enjoy cocktails at the whiskey lounge. Surrounded by vast tropical gardens, this stylish hotel provides a serene atmosphere and impeccable service for an unforgettable stay.
This is my fourth trip to Marbella, my first time in hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá and it was incredible! I will definitely be back here. Every aspect of the hotel is spotlessly clean, the lobby, the rooms, the gym all kept to a perfect standard. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure we had an amazing stay. The pool concierge team and the pool staff from Bardot made every day we spent by the pool perfect. Although I can’t praise the staff throughout the hotel enough, everyone was friendly and helpful. We booked the red level and the lounge experience was great. Breakfast, snacks and drinks all available in a quiet lounge area. The hotel itself is a very easy short walk to old town. The grounds of the hotel are wonderful, a mix of green gardens and pool area, with easy access to the beach and promenade. I would highly recommend a stay here, the hotel, staff and overall experience were all exceptional!

Dear Sir or Madam, We would like to kindly share with you our review of our recent stay at Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá. Please find our detailed feedback below. Positives: • Excellent location, very close to the sea. • Beautiful and well-maintained garden and pool area. • Very good breakfast with fresh fruit and made-to-order items like omelets or boiled eggs. • The ERRE restaurant offers great steaks and a nice atmosphere. • Friendly, helpful staff and convenient on-site parking. Negatives: • The hotel clearly shows its age and no longer meets modern five-star standards. Carpets in the hallways are heavily worn. • Our room faced the inner courtyard, and every morning around 6:30 a.m. we were woken by truck noise and the sound of breaking glass, likely from bottle collection near the main entrance – clearly audible even from the 5th floor. • The windows, probably original from the 1960s, offered almost no sound insulation and couldn’t be closed properly. • The sofa bed for two children was only about 1 meter wide, with a completely worn-out mattress where you could feel the metal frame. • Blankets had no proper duvet covers – just sheets wrapped around them, constantly slipping off. Overall impression: While the hotel shines with its beautiful location, pleasant outdoor spaces, and friendly service, the rooms and windows are outdated, and noise insulation is poor. A renovation would be needed to bring it back to true five-star quality.

From the moment we arrived back at Don Pepe we felt 'back at home.' Lovely warm welcome and speedy check in to a Red Level Room. Beautiful sea view room - which was serviced daily by the charming room team. All the staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The beautiful grounds help you to relax between meals. Hopefully the 'Breakfast Room' will return once the hotel has been refurbished. Can't wait to return in 2027

Reviewed 2 days ago There is no other hotel in Marbella for us whether we travel with our children or as a couple. The hotel is very special and the staff are excellent. Friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for you. There are excellent restaurants, a beautiful, comfortable pool area with amazing pool staff and the location is perfect. Rooms are not large but very comfortable with all amenities. We will miss it next year when it closes for a refurb but we will be back! Special thanks to Abel for all his help and for always looking after us.

Special thanks to Mike for his vibrant daytime entertainment, making every activity a blast. Chiarra’s incredible massage, leaving me relaxed and refreshed. Fabulous hotel, reception staff were on point and very very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. We booked the side sea view room and it was vert spacious and spotlessly cleaned. We even got a turn down service with a chocolate on our first night. A big thank you to the housekeeping team for finding my friend's two silver rings, which were of sentimental value and irreplaceable. For the reception staff keeping the safe and with frequent updates. Highly recommend

First class attractive hotel, spotlessly clean and ideally located on beach front with easy access to Board Walk. Room was delightful. All staff provided high levels of customer service: special thanks to Anna on reception and Yaiza in the restaurant. Food was excellent with wide range of breakfast and evening meal buffet choices and chefs cooking individual made to order options. Will definitely be returning next year.

A memorable experience , not much at fault for the week we stayed, from the moment we arrived we were greeted with a glass of cava and all the staff were amazing and very attentive to our requests. Breakfast lunch and dinner had a huge variety of choice. There was even a violinist at breakfast that made things so relaxed. Gym and spa facilities were excellent, really cannot find fault and all the family had an amazing time!
Dan Q — Google review
Beautiful location and friendly staff, especially at breakfast and by the pool, but the room experience didn’t match the price or expectations. We were promised one large bed for our baby, but found two twin beds pushed together late at night and were told the next day it couldn’t be changed. One of the spare sheets was dirty and stained, the coffee machine was broken and only replaced after some back-and-forth, and there’s no dim lighting in the room. Basic amenities like toothbrushes or slippers weren’t provided. The nightly price was high, and after booking we saw the hotel lower its rates, which made the stay feel less worth it. Overall, not the level of comfort or value expected for this category of hotel.

Hotel was good but over priced for what we got. it was older than expected with cricky beds. Staff were just OK. We were travelling in a group of 15. All checked in at different times on the same day. On arrival at the check-in desk, after the initial greeting we were given a hard sales pitch to push us to upgrade the rooms, which we thought was very unprofessional to say the least!! GYM's AC was not working properly. They came and checked but we did not see any difference for 4 days that we used it. No water in the rooms! Everyone had to fill up a jar, which was left in the room, from a filtered water in the corridors!!! Towels were very thin and didn't feel great. Around 8am they close one of the access doors to the bar, which you need to go through to get to the restaurant, for cleaning! So we had to use alternative route which was quite annoying. Cleaning should be done before guests start using the facilities!

I always tell myself to never stay at an Iberostar property because of all the horrible experiences I’ve had in Cabo and Cancun. Thought I’d give it another shot since this property looked beautiful in photos. One advice I can give is do not get fooled. Although the pool and outside is nice the rooms are mediocre. When I checked in we had mentioned we had just gotten engaged and wanted to upgrade the room they had said they were sold out. In addition the lady checking us in barely gave us info about the property like if we needed reservations to dine at the Snack cafe and restaurant. We went to the room one thing I noticed was the stains in my bed. After a long day of traveling the one thing I hate is when the bed isn’t clean. The rooms seem like they’ve been semi fixed by that I mean just wall paper behind the beds. The amount of chips and stains on the walls were insane. The night light by my bed had hair wrapped around it. It was honestly disgusting. The curtains had stains on them it’s like do they even clean the rooms. After complaining and asking for the third time to change the room they kept saying they are sold out. Which by the way did not seem like it because the property seemed so empty there were a bunch of beach chairs open by the pool during the day. We had mentioned we had just gotten engaged and honestly did not want to deal with all these issues on our first day. We didn’t even get a congratulations… like what. They kept saying there’s nothing they can do. We went to the room all of a sudden we get a call stating that one of their guests from the penthouse was leaving tomorrow and for an additional fee of 500 we can stay there. It was very thoughtful that they offered us the room but with this many problems they should’ve honestly waved the fee. Whatever my fiance and I said we will do it because we were so unhappy. We left to go walk around at the nearby shops we get a call stating the couple who were staying at the penthouse aren’t leaving anymore… which honestly made me so annoyed because why even offer if it wasn’t for sure. We were supposed to stay at this property for a total of five days we ended up canceling and going to another property after th first day. On top of all of this while I was checking out I got charged for eating at the property which didn’t make sense because I had all inclusive. I can honestly go on with disappointing issues I had while only being there for 10hrs. I decided I can’t stay here for the rest of my trip I decided to cancel my stay and book another hotel. If you’re ever in Marbella I don’t recommend staying here. I get some families prefer all inclusive but the food is mediocre and it not as authentic as the food you eat in the city.

Hotel La Cala Resort is a top destination for golf enthusiasts, offering three 18-hole courses and a golf academy. The resort's picturesque backdrop features uneven and hilly courses, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a challenging game. Additionally, the spacious rooms with mountain views and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy amenities such as the pool bar, restaurant with live music, and spa facilities.
Three great courses and a wonderful hotel and golf facility. If you are looking for a great european golf destination then La Cala Golf Resort is the place for you. The resort is surrounded by three challenging golf courses, all with spectacular elevation changes and wonderful views. Tom K — Google review
Be careful about accepting the offer of a treatment (e.g. massage) in lieu of golf cancelled due to course closure. This turned out to be the most expensive massage ever as they equate it to two rounds of golf, which costs about £125. The list price of a 1 hour massage is 85 Euros (about £70) but they refused to allow me to pay for the massage and take credit for cancelled rounds. This is unreasonable, petty and surprising, as the staff seemed helpful at the time. I would never go back. A shame, because the courses look nice. But there are plenty of other nice resorts. Look elsewhere

Old school money never goes out of style .. Build in a time where space and M2 was no issue . I love sitting outside and enjoying the scenery. The team is nice, although they can get a bit overwhelmed. The menu is huge, and let me wonder how the chef manages to handles such a broad mixed selection. A side note: I went to the spa for a facial & it was one of the best experiences I ever had. Since then my skin has been glowing, and I bought all of their in-house products. Highly recommend. We rent a long-term apartment from Las Dunas, and it is great. Although, I really condemn the price for the gym facilities. It is something like 105 a month, and no option for family bundles or anything. Understandable for short-term stays, but not long-term renters... I would really appreciate if this got revised.

We stayed here with kids. Although it's not a typical family hotel we had a very good time. The hotel is very quiet and you almost don't see the other quests, but at the same time it's spaceous and personnel is always available. The rooms have spacious balkonies and there is a beautiful promenade right outside the hotel territory. The service was absolutely wonderful and so was the food. Thumbs up!

The rooms are very good (5 star for the rooms) breakfast is very low (disappointing) rating it looks like a 3 star hotel, after 10h30pm you will not be able to have food, this is not of a 5 star hotel standard. Felix restaurant it is very very good. Keep in mind that the hotel doesn't have anyone to help with luggage. The people on the reception are very nice and they will TRY to help in every aspect. But still missing the 5th star.

Beautiful hotel that has great facilities, amazing view, and beautiful rooms. If you’re looking for some unique Spanish luxury try this hotel. Please be aware that it can be a bit far from the centre of Marbella.

Bioparc Fuengirola is a zoo that offers visitors the chance to see animals and birds in naturalistic enclosures. The park also features a recreated jungle clearing and a play area for kids. It's one of the many popular attractions in the area, offering a unique experience for nature lovers. In addition to exploring the wildlife, visitors can also enjoy local culture, dining options, and budget-friendly accommodations nearby.
What a lovely place this is. The most picturesque zoo I've ever been to. The design and the architecture is beautiful and the animals all look relaxed, even in the heat. It is a small place but we visited late afternoon on a Monday and it was really quiet. Lots of time and space to take in the atmosphere and see the animals. The historical "lab" type building in the middle is superb and adds a great layer to the experience. Kids loved it. Staff throughout the park really seemed to love their jobs. Friendly extremely knowledgeable and keen for us to see animals we may have otherwise missed. If you take your time, and don't rush round it's really good value for money.

This is a hidden gem. We have been in Fuengirola for several months and have not prioritized checking this out. Having seen a number of the best rated zoos in the world, we did not expect much. Of course, as a bioparc, they are not trying to compete with the big zoos. The park is nicely laid out and is much larger than we had expected with a good range of animals. Like most zoos/bioparcs this was laid out in geographic regions. We are older/retired and went as a couple. It was easy to stroll through the park which was busy but not crowded. It was clear that the kids we saw were having a good time. Part of this is the habitats are not huge so it is easy to see the animals and there are some areas where you are ‘in’ the cage allowing very close viewing of the animals. The real gem for us was the very educative exhibit on the mapping of the world and Spain’s role in doing so. All-in-all the park was a treat. At the end of the visit, we were able to upgrade to an annual pass with our entry fee credited to the purchase.

Lovely zoo... had my dad in a wheelchair and its very accessible. Found it can be a bit confusing which way to go but absolutely beautiful parc.. Tigers were snoozing so didnt see them. The mini aquarium is beautiful and air conditioned which was ideal as it was roasting outside. Cafe food not great quality at all.. but facilities clean and tidy

The zoo is excellent! I recommend visiting. Interesting documentation with historical decorations, the animals' enclosures are clean and comfortable. I also liked the playground and the cafe after the end of the tour of the zoo. There are benches in the shade where you can rest. Both the child (8 years old) and the adult (33 years old) were very interested. Yes, the tickets may be a bit expensive, but every euro is worth it.

Amazing day out. We went as a family of 4 and we all saw animals that we’d never seen. Very well set up and designed and the animals look well taken care of. Very friendly and helpful staff. We spent about 3 1/2 hours in there including a stop in the cafe for a drinks which were reasonably priced. It is well shaded and the aquarium is quite cool to get out of the heat. Also a note if you park in the large underground parking lot 2 streets over you can ask for a parking coupon that gives you 50% off parking.

We had an amazing day at Bioparc Fuengirola with our children. It’s an experience we will never forget! - Highlights: • The setting is beautiful and immersive, with lush vegetation that makes you feel like you’re walking through a real jungle. • The animals are very close to visitors, with no visible cages, which allows for a unique and respectful observation. • The park is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate, even with young children. • The educational activities and keeper presentations are well-designed and engaging for kids. • We especially loved the free-roaming lemurs, the majestic gorillas, and the impressive giant baobab. • The African group’s night show was fantastic – lively, festive, and a great surprise for the whole family! • We also had the chance to enjoy the night tour, which was a magical experience and gave us a different perspective on the animals. • Thanks to our special ticket, we were allowed to exit and return after 7:30 PM to enjoy the evening shows — a real bonus! - Point to consider: • The entrance fee may seem a bit high, but the quality of the experience makes it well worth it. In short, it’s a perfect family activity — fun, educational, and respectful of wildlife. My kids are still talking about it! The African performance and night visit made it even more special. I highly recommend this park to anyone visiting the Costa del Sol.

One of the best places I've ever been. It felt like walking through the jungle. The animals habitats were so well designed. Each area of the parc was clean and well thought out. Fantastic place for both adults and kids. There was so much to see and go around. Not too crowded which was lovely. Truly magical.

Bioparc Fuengirola is a clean, well-organized animal park with natural-looking enclosures and shaded paths. You’ll find gorillas, lemurs, crocodiles, and many birds in a calm, well-kept environment. Informative signs make the visit educational, and the staff is friendly. The lemur walk-through is a highlight, especially for kids. It’s not too big, easy to explore, and perfect for a relaxed, family-friendly visit.

Lovely child friendly beach. You can hire sun loungers here as well with various places to eat and drink. The lucky lucky men can be a bit of a pain but it's a small complaint of what's a lovely beach in beautiful Spain ❤️

quite nice sandy beach with lots of options to eat and drink. There are also showers available. Baywatchers take care of our safety. Waterquality is good, but not exceptional. Both in the sand and in the sea there are some garbage, however there are trashbins also on the beach. People should care more.

If you want to know what a beach really is, I challenge you to spend a week in Torremolinos and then spend a day in Portugal. Choose any beach in southern Portugal. And you'll regret for the rest of your life not having done the opposite. In Torremolinos, there's no sand, there are small burning stones that burn your feet. The sand is small, crowded, and the water is murky. A disappointment as a beach..

The lunch at the restaurant was great! I have been to many restaurants and the menu was a twist on classics like salads and burgers but with a unique flair. I had the Boho Salad and it was one of the best salads of my life (true). Really fresh ingredients and the dressing was simple (great olive oil and salt). Would def return if I was in the area! The staff was knowledgeable and polite with warm smiles.

We hosted our yearly team offsite here and let me tell you THE BEST SERVICE we've ever experienced. Anna-Maria and Eva from events stayed in constant contact from the moment we've inquired in February until check-OUT day in September. Everyone we've encountered from reception to restaurant was amazing. Anna-Maria was so involved and checked on us every day ensuring that all activities (all organized by her, boat trip, Pilates, restaurants, tennis, beach clubs, transfers) went well. Honestly Boho Hotel you have the BEST events team especially Anna-Maria and Eva! Thank you girls for making our trip so pleasant!

Absolutely incredible stay, couldn't fault it at all and would definitely recommend for large groups or couples! I planned my sister-in-law's Hen Do for 16 of us and booked 4 x 4 Bedroom Bungalows and it was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately mine and two other girls luggage was lost and the manager (Fuente i believe her name was) and her colleague Natalia) couldn't have been more helpful. They chased the luggage company for us all weekend and it finally arrived on the Saturday! The hotel team were so helpful, helping us to book taxis for 16 of us which all arrived on time with no hassle. We also booked lunch for 16 of us within an hours notice and the staff went above and beyond, moving tables and parasols all to suit us. The food at breakfast was incredible, great options in the buffet plus one complimentary item from the hot menu which was also great. Drinks and cocktails in the evening were great and again, the staff were so helpful, creating a separate space for us to hold little hen do games and decorations! The rooms were clean and tidy and we even had the Brides bungalow upgraded free of charge as a special treat! They made the whole weekend unforgettable and would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Marbella! Thank you to all the hotel staff! xxxx

I recently stayed at Boho club hotel and I must say it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we checked in, the service was lackluster. First, staff behavior I experienced disrespectful and rude behavior from some employees, which completely unacceptable. Second , house keeping request, were either delayed or not fulfilled at all, causing great inconvenience. The room was not cleaned properly. There were dust bunnies in the corners and the bathroom had not been sanitized at all. I called the front desk to request a housekeeping service, but when they came, they seemed rushed and did a very superficial job. It felt as though they were just going through the motions. To make matters worse, we discovered that there was no room service available during our stay however they mentioned the room service is 24 hours and always they delay. In addition, I attempted to speak with someone from the management team to address these issues, but I was unable to meet with any one. This lack of accountability is highly disappointing. Lastly, for 20-days stay in a suite and 3 banglow rooms at Boho club, costing € 1000 per night and 5 stars hotel, I expected a much higher standard of service and respectful treatment. I hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and implements improvements in both service quality and staff training to guests are treated with the respect and professionalism they deserve. Overall, I would not recommend Boho club hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. Bad behavior and poor cleaning service and a lack of basic amenities like room service would make me think twice about returning. Save your money and find a place that values its guests’ experience.

Beautiful location ( 5 min to the sea), ambiance, style, zen, class. That would be my words to describe the BoHo club Good ( but expensive) dinner, fantastic breakfast. I did find it pretty hefty priced being off season. Our room was nice but a little over crowded with big sofas chairs and a massive amount of pillows. But all beautifully.done. The Don Carlos Resort & Spa is a luxurious 5-star getaway located on Nikki Beach, just a short drive from the historic downtown Marbella. The resort offers three sections: Oasis boutique for adults only, Deluxe Villas with an extensive VIP program, and the main resort with state-of-the-art facilities and a spa. Guests can enjoy upscale dining options, multiple pools, tennis courts, and an adults-only beach club at Nikki Beach.
When my wife and I were booking this trip, we were unsure what to expect as the reviews we read showed the hotel had been closed a while for renovations. The Don Carlos is a beautiful hotel and the service is very good. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable (we had a deluxe room). We were very surprised by the quality of the food and drinks served around the resort. From the pool, to the breakfast, and the dinner and drinks at los naranjos and campari bar. The grounds are very well kept and we had a fun morning playing tennis at the RNTC. There are beach clubs nearby but honestly, we preferred the pool on-site. I would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there if we return to the area.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay at Hotel Doncarlos. The renovation works were highly successful, with a modern upgrade of the entrance hall, restaurant, rooms, and the tennis and fitness club. Only the changes to the Nikki Beach Club have taken away some of its original charm, and the paid access should ideally be complimentary for hotel guests. The staff at Doncarlos are extremely friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Natalia. Her extensive knowledge allows her to recommend excellent local restaurants nearby. She adds extra shine to the hotel's 5 stars. Her hospitality and enthusiasm inspire guests to rebook their stay at Doncarlos

What a heavenly place. The staff are all, without exception, 5*. The hotel's restaurant deserves accolades from the best, but to put it simply here, phenomenal food and service. The facilities are second to none with the pool, tennis, gym and beach. Its paradise. A few special mentions - Libby and Tony in Guest Experience. Isias, Nora and the manager (?name) in Los Naranjos. The kitchen/chef in Los Naranjos - outstanding. And at the Rafa Nadal tennis centre, Samuel, Javi, Maggy. The RNTC is outstanding.

I was here for a women's golf trip in September. I do not recommend. The service for price doesn't match. This resort doesn't live up to the 5 star rating. Upon check in they lost my reservation. Which is ironic as I booked with my golf group. And I was asked for all the information I had already submitted prior to the trip. For one you get nickeled and dimed for everything. Service is slow. And housekeeping did not clean our room or give new towels after we requested through the portal and calling the front desk numerous times. I had to call and make a request on the app several times for laundry to come. One pool is an extra charge and so are the chairs and sunbeds. Certain pool staff is unfriendly as well. The beach process isn't the best. And the pools and beach access are only open between 10 a.m. -7 p.m. I wouldn't be acknowledged when I was walking the resort, but other guests would be by staff. All in all I didn't enjoy my stay and won't be returning.

Hotel Amàre Marbella is an adults-only hotel with a contemporary vibe, offering a range of amenities for a relaxing and luxurious stay. The hotel features a spa where guests can indulge in massages, therapies, and hydrotherapy pool sessions. The spacious and elegant rooms come with balconies and sea views, some even offering VIP treatment and access to the exclusive The One Lounge.
Staying at Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella was easily one of the highlights of my summer. The hotel delivers exactly what it promises a refined adults-only experience with a perfect balance of luxury, energy, and peace. The staff treats you like a VIP from the moment you arrive. Every interaction felt personal, from the concierge to the beach club waiters. The room was spotless with an incredible view of the Mediterranean waking up and stepping onto that balcony every morning was unbeatable. The beach club and pool area are lively but never out of control. Great music, great cocktails, and a crowd that’s upscale and attractive but chill. It’s the kind of place where you can socialize if you want or simply relax and feel like you’re in your own world. Breakfast is a full spread — everything fresh, beautifully presented, with both healthy options and indulgent choices. Location wise, it’s perfect. You’re right on the beachfront and just a short walk into Old Town Marbella if you want real Spanish restaurants or a change of vibe. Overall, Amàre feels like a mix of a boutique hotel and a beach club clean, modern, stylish, and made for adults who enjoy life. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be coming back.

Our stay at this beachfront hotel in Marbella was nothing short of amazing. The location is perfect, right on the beach and just a short walk from the beautiful Old Town. The staff went above and beyond in every area – at the reception, by the pool and beach, and especially in the restaurant, where the team truly went out of their way to create a flawless dining experience. The entire property is immaculate and very well maintained. The food was exceptional, with an impressive variety and top quality that turned every meal into a highlight. Combined with the unique Mediterranean atmosphere, the hotel offers both elegance and warmth, making it the ideal place to relax and enjoy Marbella. Simply put, this is *the place to be* if you want the perfect mix of beachside luxury and authentic charm. Without a doubt, this hotel fully deserves its 5 stars!

Our stay here was deeply disappointing, and I would strongly advise other travellers to think twice before booking. We reserved a premium “Oh là là The One” category room based on the photos and description on the hotel’s own website. The reality was nothing like what was advertised — completely different layout, view, and finish. When we raised this immediately at reception, the response was defensive rather than helpful. We were told we could leave “if we wanted,” but that no refund would be made for the price difference. After a long journey, we felt backed into a corner and stayed — hardly the 5-star service one expects. Management’s tone throughout was patronising. They later offered a “free dinner” and to waive parking fees (which we hadn’t even been told existed) as supposed goodwill gestures — gestures that came across more as a way to silence complaints than to resolve them. There was no genuine sense of accountability, only excuses about “representative photos.” A hotel of this price and brand should understand that transparency and empathy matter far more than empty gestures. What should have been a special and relaxing stay turned into a stressful experience handled with complete indifference. We travel frequently and rarely leave negative reviews, but this one is deserved. Misrepresentation, poor customer service, and an attitude that treats guests like they’re the problem — not the paying customers — are unacceptable.

Beautiful beach luxury hotel with beach and pool access right out your door. Delicious and plentiful breakfast buffet with anything you can imagine. Tourist trap – 5 stars gone wrong Quite the opposite of the hotel I stayed at the night before, where the service was absolutely outstanding. Here, unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Even before arrival, I received more than ten promotional emails pushing me to prepay for extras, but a simple request about late check-out went unanswered. Upon arrival, no help with our luggage – the concierge apparently “did not see us.” The room setup was misleading: whether you book twin beds or a double bed makes no difference – the only change is how the sheets are tucked. In fact, there isn’t even enough space for true twin beds. The quality of bedding, towels, and linens was far below 5-star standards – thin, cheap, and in some cases with stains. Honestly, even a Motel One offers better quality and service. The only redeeming factor was the view. Breakfast was another low point: long queues just to enter the dining room, and again for basic items like eggs. After we had complained, for example at the reception, or the pool bar, the staff showed an unprofessional attitude – chewing gum, rolling their eyes, and blaming guests instead of offering solutions. All in all, countless small details proved that management has little interest in genuine hospitality. Definitely not worth the 5-star label – a classic tourist trap.

Nice clean and pleasant hotel. Ruined by the atrocious service at the bar. Possibly the worst ever experienced. No management. Staff disinterested. Table buzzer service on each table that doesn't work so you are left waiting for nothing for twenty minutes. When mentioned at bar two nights in a row they don't even apologise or care. You have to order at the bar..and wait there to collect your own drinks because it will take 30 mins to receive them. About 10 people in the bar and they still can't do this. Totally turns you off the idea of going to the bar as staff are clueless. 25 minutes to get a drink on first night. Second night we gave up and went elsewhere. Never once saw a manager. If going there. Please do not use the table buzzer as they do not work. Even asking for an ashtray.. They forget and walk off. There is a serious management problem here. Complaint made in hotel too as it was such a disgraceful experience..sad to see they hire people with no training.

I recently stayed at Amàre Hotel, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The hotel itself is beautiful modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a wonderful balance between comfort and style. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible service, especially from a waiter named Toni. Toni went above and beyond in every possible way. Throughout my stay, he was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He took the time to help me with directions around the city, gave me great recommendations for restaurants and local attractions, and even checked in later to see how everything went. His suggestions were spot on and helped me make the most of my time in the area. What stood out the most, though, was how compassionate he was when I had a small accident and fell over. Toni didn’t hesitate for a second he came over immediately to help, made sure I was okay, and even offered to bring me some water and check if I needed medical assistance. That level of care and professionalism is something you don’t see every day, and it left a lasting impression. It’s rare to meet someone in hospitality who truly embodies what great service is all about, but Toni absolutely does. He made me feel comfortable, valued, and looked after the entire time. It’s staff like him that make hotels like Amàre stand out from the rest. To the management: please recognize Toni for his outstanding attitude and dedication. He is a real asset to your team! Overall, I highly recommend Amàre Hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay with exceptional service. I’ll definitely be coming back and I’ll be sure to say hello to Toni when I do!

General manager there is a really poor manager which clearly extends from head office and a poor culture towards being ignorant of guests. Our room was not clean and the food they wanted to re heat it when i complained it was cold i could have ended up in hospital there is also a lot of Jet 2 holiday types

Pez Espada by MedPlaya is a renowned hotel located in the heart of Costa del Sol, offering stunning sea views and beachfront gardens. The property features two outdoor swimming pools, a gym, and a solarium. Guests can enjoy international cuisine at the exclusive restaurants with panoramic views of the Carihuela promenade. This iconic hotel, which opened in 1959, has been frequented by celebrities like Frank Sinatra and Sophia Loren.
Lovely hotel in great location. Clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Very accommodating when I requested to change rooms. Lovely gesture for my birthday, wine and cake delivered to room. Thanks to all staff for our lovely stay. We will return.

Wonderful art deco hotel with real character and a sense of history. Staff generally friendly and attentive, if not quite the entire team at all times as advertised. The buffet food was reasonable, especially the breakfast. Cocktails were quite poor quality, air con in the bedroom didn't seem to work although we didn't report this as it wasn't hot enough to cause us an issue. The pool was cold and only open for a short time, and a couple of the advertised facilities didn't seem to be open potentially because we stayed at the end of April. Will definitely consider staying again

Great hotel - after reading some reviews prior to coming I was skeptical but I'm glad I only have good things to say about the Hotel. The room was modern and cleaned to a high standard everyday. We had half board which was definitely worth it, the food is on the higher end than what I've had at hotel buffets before - lots of freshly cooked meats and fishes each day and good quality meat and vegetable options. The breakfast is good, my only criticism would be to have more than one person making fried eggs as the queue can get quite long. The pool area was great, it's in the sun all day with service at your sun bed for drinks which was good and a food van to buy snacks throughout the day. The location is perfect, across the road from the beach and Benalmadena just a 15/20 minute walk down the beach front. We didn't struggle for things to do there's lots of options for entertainment and food. I would definitely return.

We've been for five nights on this hotel and it was okay. the hotel is quite old it needs renovation air condition on the room it was extremely noisy. the facility in Rome are really good. The food it was okay but the fruits was terrible not tasty also watermelon it wasn't fresh it looks like he has been cut few days in the pas. But the worst experience we had: the dining room on the conservative area one of the lady stuff was extremely rude shi shouldn't be the and this is the reason it make me to do this review.

This is the third time we visited the hotel as a family over the last 2 years. There are good and bad points. The good outweigh the bad ones for some people, however there is one thing which makes me seriously consider if I want to return - it's the bad state of the gym. Dear hotel management, please invest into your gym upkeep. It's just too bad. I will add more details below. So, the good: - location. Very very convenient. Only 20 mins taxi ride from the airport. Right on the beach, very close to Benalmadena Puerto Marina. Close to Parque de la Bateria which is a fantastic park with magnficient views. La Carihuela beach is large, spacious, beautiful. The area is quiet and if you need restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy etc etc - everything is within 5-10 mins walk - the hotel's reception and lobby area are impressive, truly cosy and welcoming. They are kept in good order and always smell nice with their signature Pez Espada hotel scent the pool area and other outdoor spaces are quite good - it was pleasant to be there - the food on the half board basis is excellent. I have seen some people complaining about the food variety, options and quality in the reviews. I cannot support that. The food is excellent! We enjoyed every breakfast and dinner on all three visits. The desserts are nothing to write home about, but this is a common theme across all spanish hotels we visited. However, I repeat - everything else is very good - Dino, the ice cream shop, serves excellent ice creams. Briliiant! The bad: - gym. This is the one area which is completely forgotten by the hotel managament. The cross trainer stopped working altogether. It was barely functional on our two previous visits, but this time in May 2025 we found it was totally broken. The cords on the weighs machine got partially snapped. The sanitiser to clean the equipment after use was removed. One miserable yoga mat provided for the entire gym. It's all quite sad. The gym is located in a premium spot of the hotel overlooking the swimming pool and the sea. It has genuinely nice views and feel. Just so sad to see it not being looked after. This puts me off tbh - the swimming pool is nice, but the hotel should invest into heating - the walls are quite thin. The wall mounted TVs make the neighbors experience uncomfortable even when sound is not that loud - the smokers should be prohibited from smoking on the balconies and in the common areas. They should receive a designated area somewhere around car park Overall, this is a solid option if you are not interested in the gym. So solid, it's hard to beat for the area.

Great 1950's original luxury hotel, you can sense the glamour from when the stars used to visit (who's photos now adorn the main public spaces). Quiet and comfortable with a fantastic location, right next to the beach, and within in easy walking distance of many restaurants and bars. All in we had a fantastic stay here, very relaxing.

I had the utmost care shown towards me by the reception staff and the Manager after a medical incident affected my husband who was hospitalised for 6 days in Malaga. My worries about accommodation as my booked holiday had expired were sorted for me by the staff enabling me to stay in this hotel . Great hotel with great food and even greater staff.
Sandra D — Google review
Here is a realistic review from my personal point of view. I’ve been coming to the Pez Espada almost every year since 2016 and it’s always a wonderful experience. The sea views are incredible. The hotel is very well located in La Carihuela, close to Benalmádena. The restaurant service and staff are excellent – I could honestly thank them one by one if I knew all their names. A special mention goes to Mme Maribel Sanjuan, who helped me and my family of three book an excellent room. Breakfast and dinner are always delicious with plenty of variety. The animation is really good for both children and adults, and the hotel often brings great musicians – one band in particular was absolutely incredible. If I could recommend a couple of improvements, it would be for the gym, which needs more equipment and modern machines, and the ping-pong area, as the table is smaller than normal and the rackets could be of better quality. ⭐ Rating: 5/5 – Incredible views, amazing food, great entertainment, and outstanding staff. That’s why I keep coming back year after year.

Everyone at the hotel is friendly and helpful. Even the green keepers looking after the gardens around the hotel will say hello or good morning. The spa staff are wonderful. Thank you to Ines who made my husband’s birthday so special and memorable. The massages we had were amazing and very relaxing. Nothing is a problem. Thank you Westin La Quinta!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort in Marbella, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that remained consistent throughout my stay. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with stunning interior and outdoor spaces that offer a true sense of tranquility and luxury. They also provide a complimentary shuttle into the city centre and back to the hotel. The location is simply breathtaking—nestled in the hills with picturesque views that golf lovers, in particular, will greatly appreciate. The golf course is immaculate and well-designed, making it a perfect destination for both seasoned players and those looking to enjoy a leisurely round. Breakfast each morning was satisfying, with a good variety of options to suit most tastes. Overall, this resort combines elegance, comfort, and hospitality in a way that makes it ideal for a relaxing getaway or a golf-focused holiday.

My father and I stayed here September 2025 for a quick three day trip. We did not play golf but the course looked to be in great shape. The pool and surrounding area was very well maintained. The breakfast was large with many different options. Additionally, the breakfast had very generous hours. I would recommend having a rental car when staying here as it makes getting around the area much easier. Lastly, the rooms were very large and had great views.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were nice and spacious with beautiful views. The bathrooms were comfortable but could use some updating. The food could use some improvement although the breakfast buffet was very good with some excellent options.

We had an amazing time at The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort & Spa. The staff were incredibly friendly, everything was immaculately clean, and the atmosphere was superb. The serenity and peace we experienced were exceptional. The hotel is sophisticated and beautifully decorated throughout with an elegant ambience. We stayed here the night of our wedding and our room was fantastic — very spacious, with panoramic views of the sea and the entire complex. Both the Sunsa Restaurant and the Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar served exquisite food, and the team were highly professional. Breakfast was also a real highlight. We made full use of the main swimming pool and the spa, which was larger than expected and offered a wide range of facilities and services. To our surprise, it even included a private pool which we were able to enjoy just the two of us — the perfect start to our married life together. We cannot thank the team enough for making our stay so special. Wedding or no wedding, we would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking elegant, sophisticated accommodation in peaceful surroundings on the Costa del Sol.

We are currently staying at The Westin in Marbella. The hotel itself is beautiful — spacious rooms, comfortable facilities, and overall a lovely atmosphere. However, I want to share an incident that happened by the pool during our stay that affected my family. On a very windy morning, the wind blew away sunbeds, umbrellas, and personal belongings around the pool. Unfortunately, one family was badly affected when a mother with her 4-month-old baby fell into the pool, and the baby was hit by an umbrella, leaving him with a bruise. It was a very stressful situation, with many children and families present, and understandably, everyone was frightened. My own kids were so scared they asked to go back to the room instead of staying by the pool. The staff removed the umbrellas afterwards, and a manager came to check, but I feel the situation could have been handled with more care for the guests who witnessed it, especially the children who were unsettled by what happened. A small gesture, such as offering free kids club access for an hour or even complimentary ice cream, could have helped ease the atmosphere and shown empathy towards the families present. I understand this was an unfortunate accident that could happen anywhere, but as a hotel with such a strong reputation, I believe management could have responded more thoughtfully to support all guests during the incident.

Located a bit in the outskirts of Marbella, this Golf and Spa Resort offers great golf courses to play as well as comfortable ambiance where to relax such as their beautiful pool and the Spa which also has a private pool. Accommodations are new and clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Recommended!

My boyfriend and we stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The room was very outdated. The kettle was very dirty and coffee mashing was loud and they always lacked of leaving coffee pods and creamers and basic water. Room was not really cleaned well either. I have brought that to the front desk attention but got only apologies was not worth my stay. Not a 5 star hotel.

Nestled in Sotogrande, the luxurious SO Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort offers a 5-star experience with its impressive golf course featuring three 18-hole combinations and multiple dining options. The resort also boasts a sprawling 2800 m spa equipped with top-notch facilities like hot tubs, saunas, and fitness centers. The spacious rooms are elegantly adorned in soothing natural tones.
We had a wonderful stay at SO/ Sotogrande. As Platinum members, we received an upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, everything is impeccably clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The views are stunning, and we especially enjoyed the activities with Jennifer – she was fantastic! The only small disappointment was that there was no live music, even though we received a WhatsApp notification about it. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we would definitely love to return.

Arrival & Accommodation: We were pleasantly surprised with a lovely room upgrade on arrival, which set a great tone. The layout of the room was excellent, and the bathroom in particular stood out, spacious, well-designed, and genuinely luxurious. Dining & Food Quality: Overall, the quality of food at the resort was very good. Poolside Lunch Experience: Unfortunately, our attempt to get lunch by the pool after golf was disappointing. The menu was limited, and several items were unavailable. What we did receive felt pre-prepped and was simply pulled from a fridge, which didn’t match the price point or the expectations of a five-star resort. Room Service Letdown: We ordered room service one evening and were genuinely shocked by the poor value. The portions were tiny, and the delivery lacked basic essentials, no cutlery, no plates, no napkins. It felt more like a takeaway than a premium in-room dining experience, yet it was priced as if we were dining at a high-end restaurant. Spa & Wellness: The spa setup was generally nice and the steam/sauna in particular were good. However, the jacuzzi pool looked like it needed a thorough clean. Additionally, there were no robes, slippers, or even enough towels provided, again, not what you’d expect from a five-star facility. Location: The location was also ideal for golfers, with the Alto golf course just a short walk away, super convenient. However, you'd need a car to get anywhere else, there's no shops or restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. Departure & Feedback Opportunity: We would have shared this feedback in person, but no one asked about our stay at checkout, which was a missed opportunity and left us feeling a bit overlooked.

We were here for a week, with the idea of brushing up on our golf, somewhere a bit warmer than our home in Aberdeen. Room - was first class, beautiful setting, housekeeping very attentive. Service - in terms of restaurants, very good. Special mention for Mattia and his staff at IXO Bar & Tapas, who felt like family at the end of the week. Food at Marxa very good, best selection of wines from the places that we tried. Why not this selection in all places? Society Clubhouse had good selection for breakfast and lunch, staff very friendly. IXO Bistro we tried once. This had quite a limited menu for a dinner location, so not really sure what it was trying to be. Communication with reception sometimes needed to be repeated. Manolo at Concierge very helpful and friendly however. There could be more of a connection with La Reserva, as this is advertised with having many of the activities on offer. A free shuttle to those without cars maybe? Location - beautiful. Perfect if you’re after a site with access to a range of golf courses. It’s best to have/hire a car to get around. Having said that, we hired bikes for a couple of days to tour the Andalucían countryside.

SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort is the perfect blend of luxury and tranquillity. The location is absolutely stunning — lush gardens, palm trees, and mountain views that make every walk through the resort feel like a mini holiday in itself. The interiors are beautifully designed with a fresh, modern style that feels both elegant and relaxing. The service was exceptional. Silvia at reception deserves a special mention for being incredibly helpful when I had a last-minute clothing emergency before a wedding — she truly saved the day! The breakfast team is always friendly, smiling, and genuinely happy to help, which makes mornings here such a pleasure. I used the golf buggy service several times a day with my hairdresser and makeup artist coming and going, and every time the team was quick and cheerful. A special thank you to the young gentleman who was always smiling and helpful — nothing was ever too much trouble. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be for the rooms to be cleaned a bit earlier in the day, but this is something I’ve noticed in many hotels and it did not affect my stay. Overall, SO/ Sotogrande is a truly special place with incredible staff and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for a relaxing yet luxurious stay.

I love this park as it has so many areas to visit. It was created to bring the world of nature to you. There are animals also. Wild chickens walk around. Ducks, turtles. Parrots. There are goats penned you can visit. Sculpture in water and out. Areas of interest, special gardens within. Close to the sea to give the family a break from the heat. There is shade and plenty and cafes to relax in and eat or drink. It was a lovely place to wind away time. Highly recommended, and you will not be disappointed.

Aquamijas is a fantastic water park located in Fuengirola, offering a wide range of attractions for visitors of all ages. Spanning 34,000 square meters, the park features exhilarating water slides, wave pools, and dedicated areas for children to enjoy. Additionally, guests can take advantage of amenities such as lounge chairs, snack bars, and lockers.
A fabulous day for the family - nb. Slides are generally for children aged 7 and above. We had booked our tickets in advance so walked in without any queue. We would highly recommend hiring the floats, it saves hassle for most of the slides. Remember to keep your receipt so you get your deposit back!! Overall the queueing time was pretty minimal and we went on the slides multiple times with just one notable exception which we honestly don't know why it took so long - may have been down to the members of staff manning it or that it relies on radios rather than visuals to send the next person down? The food and drink was reasonably priced and again the queues were absolutely fine. The place was clean and the staff very helpful. We will be back next year!!

Half day after 2.30pm 30% discount in May. Changes dependant on season. Lovely afternoon in the sun Park quiet, no queus to ride and extremely clean and has hot or cold food you can order on the app. Water was good for slides and swim. We took a picnic in. Only a 4* as very small but as we expected as have been many times. Would suit under 10s

A really good day out. The staff are a credit to your team and are very helpful. The queues for the slides are well organised. Your life guards are very switched on and alert which is good piece of mind for parents with young children.

Great day out with my 12y old! I would recommend to buy your ticket online and arrive earlier to get a parking spot. We arrived just after 10am for 10.30am opening time. Had to join the online queue, as people were already waiting, but it took literally 5-10min to get in after they open the gate. Great fun all day! Go and rent your ring! Its only £8.50 and it will save you a lot of time, avoiding queues. We visited mid Aug and although it felt busy some of the rides had only 5-10min wait with your own ring. Save your money by taking your packed lunches. Plenty of shaded areas, but please remember to take your picking blanket. This will also save you some money by not having a sun lounge (£7 each). There is a variety of rides so definitely suitable for any age. The whole site is well maintained and very clean including toilets. Yes, some of the pools have a partially rough floor, but that is to stop people, especially children slipping. I would definitely recommend this place.
Ania S — Google review
We were a bit disappointed by Aquamijas. Compared to other water parks we’ve visited, it is quite small and didn’t offer as many attractions. My son is 6, and although we bought a child ticket for him, many of the slides he was excited about turned out to require a “Junior” ticket (for ages seven and up). It was frustrating to see other kids who were even shorter still allowed to play just because they had the right ticket. If it’s really about safety, it would make much more sense to use height, not age, to decide who can ride. Unfortunately, it left my son quite disappointed, and the day wasn’t as fun as we had hoped.

We went to this water park with the family and chose to do it on a Monday to avoid the weekend crowds. It was a wonderful experience, with various pools and activities. It was quick to buy entrance tickets and get inside. There were plenty of places to lie down. Good to know, it's free to lie on the grass, but it costs to use the sunbeds. You pay directly to the person who checks around. There is both food and other things to eat. We had pizza, sausages (not recommended😬), nuggets, and chicken wings. There were also slushies and ice cream🍦. There is a carousel inside the park that spins around, and you try to run and keep up. It's a fun activity but costs 5 euros. Another thing to consider is that if you want to avoid the crowds for the different slides, it's better to visit this water park on a weekday. Even though we went on a Monday, it still took about 30 minutes to queue for each water slide😭. Thumbs up for this place. The entrance fee was 55 euros for one adult and a 7-year-old child. 👍👍👍👍👍

The price of the entrance tickets was ok but we were surprised inside, we had to pay separately for everything, for example sunshades 7€ per, lockers 10€ per etc... A group of 4 people cost around 200€ Long queues too!

Outdoor Activities
Lauro Golf Resort offers a technical yet not overly challenging course with stunning views of the sea and mountains. The 27-hole layout provides ample opportunities to test golfing skills. The resort's friendly staff, spacious updated accommodations, and well-maintained course contribute to a fantastic stay. Guests can enjoy delicious food and drink at the on-site clubhouse while taking in the beautiful surroundings. However, it is recommended to have a hire car for flexibility due to the resort's secluded location.
A wonderful course with beautiful scenery that I can only describe as "a little quirky." Position is key here. Big hitters can easily end up in big trouble. A course that I would definitely like to play again.

Lauro Golf – A Scenic Course Near Marbella Located about 30 minutes from Marbella, Lauro Golf is a beautiful golf resort set in a stunning landscape surrounded by palm trees and mountains. The course is nestled near the charming town of Alhaurín de la Torre, which offers a variety of cozy restaurants and bars, making it a great spot to unwind after a round of golf. The course itself is well-maintained, offering a mix of challenging holes and scenic fairways. It provides a great balance for both experienced golfers and those looking for a relaxed round in a picturesque setting. The facilities are excellent, with a welcoming clubhouse, a well-equipped pro shop, and a friendly atmosphere. Whether you're visiting for a single round or planning a longer stay, Lauro Golf offers a fantastic golf experience in the heart of the Costa del Sol. Highly recommended for golf enthusiasts looking for a blend of nature, challenge, and relaxation.

My friend & I have just finished 3 days at Lauro. We can only describe it as paradise, yes the recent rainfall has helped… the course was in immaculate condition… unlimited golf & apartment ( 5 mins from the club house) for the price we paid was a dream. The staff were extremely friendly and so welcoming, each day we were partnered with 2 others which made our experience unique and we made some great friends from across the globe. We will definitely be back.

Looks very good, nice and clean well kept lawn. Very peaceful and relaxing holes. Never too busy.
Dennis V — Google review
Just spent 4 days here, a great resort with really friendly helpful staff. The 27 holes were in fantastic condition and the greens perfect. Buffet breakfast was spot on and the ability to get out onto what always seemed like a quiet course was brilliant. I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone, my only suggestion is to have a hire car to give you freedom to move off the mountain, as its secluded charm is not to everyone's liking.

Beautiful course with the best greens in Malaga. The surroundings were astonishing and the course design impeccable

Just came back from a week stay at Lauro Golf. It was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly, in particular the golf shop staff. Our stay came with breakfast at the clubhouse, which was nothing special, but good enough for the price we paid. The apartment was updated and very spacious. The golf course was beautiful and well taken care of. Unfortunately, our timing wasn't great as one of the three nine holes was always under maintenance. A bit unlucky, but we still got to play all three nines while were there. For some reason the pins and tees never changed, which was a bit annoying especially given that one of the nine holes was always under maintenance. We ended up playing a nice course nearby for a chance of pace. I hope to be back in the future.

Come here for more than 10 years and for the first time in my life, they send me away, because I was not propered dressed ( a sleeveless shirt) what I allways wear in warm weather and also in this place. At the same time, there where several women with sleeveless shirts. So I'm being discriminated against here, I cursed a lot and they'll never see me here again😡😡😡😡😡

The hotel features two restaurants, three bars, and various entertainment options including nightly performances. With amenities such as a fitness center, kids' club, and free WiFi throughout the property, it provides a great value for travelers.
We had an excellent time celebrating my big birthday. I cannot thank the hotel enough. We received a great welcome in the early hours from Juan The room was spacious. The grounds are well maintained. Breakfast gave a great selection to choose from. Jose on reception was amazing, attentive and helpful. Location was great giving access to the promenade and beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you and well done to all the team at the Occidental torremolinos playa 🤩

We had a fantastic holiday at Occidental. We have young children and we all enjoyed our time there. The staff were brilliant! The restaurant staff especially made us all feel so welcome and made a special point of saying hello to our children. One member of staff even gave our kids a little gift of biscuits and sweets when we were leaving. Can’t thank you all enough! The hotel itself was lovely! The variety of pools and seating areas were great. At the main kids pool at the back there were quite a few broken tiles and sharp edges at one of the showers. The kids loved the splash pad and the mini golf. The kids club staff were great fun at the evening disco’s. The food was lovely, great selection. My only complaint were the birds which I did see on Google reviews, while we were there some curtains were installed which stopped the birds coming into the dining area. Location was great for the airport and not too far from the city centre. Bus stop right outside and the beach. My only complaint was the sofa bed in the room. It was so uncomfortable. My husband and I took it in turns to sleep on the sofa bed and with the kids in the main room as it was so uncomfortable. The b-day in the toilet was broken too. There was also a lot of noise late in the evenings as we were right above the reception area where the outdoor seating was so there was a few nights there were drunk guests talking outside our room. The room was a nice size and we had the terrace area outside which was handy for the kids. There was a travel cot ready for our young baby. I would absolutely come back to the hotel again and highly recommend it.
Claire M — Google review
The hotel facilities were amazing. Staff very helpful. Entertainment 10 til 11pm was good. The areas were always kept clean and tidy. The food choices were fantastic. Occassionally needed heating up, due to food on mass being hard to keep hot especially if you were first in. As all the food has been laid out a few minutes. But if you go a bit later the food is constantly being replaced so hotter. They provide a microwave so again, not a problem. We had never been all inclusive but definitely would again. The rooms have suffered a little due to condensation from the air con but we just turned ours up a degree or two. The beds felt slightly damp from it and you could see in places where wood had " blown" and ceilings had marks on. Easy access to beach. A little walk to main shops but there are 2 regular buses outside. We also used the train to access other towns, very reasonably priced.
Elaine B — Google review
Where do I even begin, everything about this hotel is perfect. The food, the service, the rooms, the caring of the place, the prices. Everything down to the last minute detail. Everything is so well organized. Every night there is a show on a big scene for kids and after that for adults. The pools and water slides are taken care of and cleaned every morning and the gym is always clean with amazing ventilation and air conditioning. Your room is cleaned every morning and you are given new bedsheets, towels and toilet paper every time. The food is always top notch, there wasn’t a single day in our 10 day visit where I had any complaints at all about it. They mow the lawn twice a week and water the plants and grass every morning. They even mop the ground outside. And I definitely think it’s worth to mention Jose, Antonio, Sara and Maria, who work in the lobby. They are incredibly patient and help you with everything you could possibly need. They are all also fluent in many different languages, making communication a non problem around the place.
Nicolas P — Google review
The location is good, and the reception staff is polite and helpful. The room we were given was clean. While a bit small for three people, we were comfortable. Every aspect of the facility is clean and tidy. Breakfast is good, but other meals generally feature pork products. Unfortunately, the sea wasn't very clean during our stay, so we couldn't swim. From what I observed, this bothered many people. The pools were inadequate. There were insufficient seating areas in the evenings. A hotel like this should offer free parking to its guests.
Ibrahim I — Google review
The hotel its self is a lovely place to be, beautiful views and lovely food to try each night. The only thing that ruined our last day was even though our transfer wasn’t due to pick us up until 7pm, the hotel had us check out at 12 noon so we couldn’t enjoy our last full day (paid for) before heading home. I also want to add that this information was small print on a completely different part of the card we signed with the hotels information. Due to this we won’t be back, it’s not ideal to go through this mess with young children.
Erin M — Google review
Fantastic Modern and super clean hotel. Really great for Accessibility also with ramps to all locations. Backs right on to the promenade with little restaurants dotted along it if you feel like a break from the excellent hotel food. Staff were amazing and very helpful,

We booked 7 nights in this hotel. Unfortunately as our son got a fever we left after 6 nights. I appreciate we booked non-refundable stay, however we would have thought the hotel would have been understanding given our situation. The response we got was very curt to say no which is really disappointing. We do have to stay that all staff at breakfast and dinner were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Nestled in an enviable seafront location just a short stroll from the beach, Marriott's Marbella Beach Resort is a luxurious 5-star retreat offering stylish fully-equipped apartments with direct beach access. The resort boasts two indoor and two outdoor pools, a fitness center, and a sun terrace. Guests can also find convenience in the on-site supermarket, various dining options, and bars.
I've stayed at many Marriott Vacation Club properties in the US. This was my first time staying at one outside the US and it did not disappoint! Both the rooms and the grounds look very similar to any Marriott beach resort you'd find in the US. We spent a week at the resort and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The grounds are gorgeous with colorful potted plants scattered throughout and impeccable landscaping. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurants. We didn't discover the daily breakfast buffet until later in the week but we wished we had discovered it sooner because it was so good! The resort is located about a 15 minute drive from downtown Marbella, and it's very easy to get around with a car. There are a couple restaurants and shops within walking distance, but most of the local attractions need to be accessed by car. We didn't mind this at all since there's plenty of public parking in downtown Marbella and everywhere else we visited. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit Spain's southern coast!

The Marriott is our second home for over 20 years. It is located beautifully directly at the beach. The resort offers a variety of activities for old and young. The staff is amazing. There are restaurants in the resort offering fast food as well as spanish/ American cuisine. The apartments are well equipped and are freshly renovated. You can either provide yourself with food and drinks or get fully served within the resort. The only teardrop during summer time is the huge amount of guest from Saudi Arabia who have a different point of view of environmental protection and human rights concerning their behavior towards staff members and other guests.

This was my 3rd time visiting this resort and I’m already looking forward to the next trip. The people are amazing, friendly and so helpful. The rooms and the resort grounds are so clean. I honestly don’t think I can think of a single bad thing about this place.

We’ve come every year for the past 9 years for two weeks and it never disappoints. The best staff you could ask for, Davide and Roberto in particular. The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool area is upkept, it has two places by the pool to get drinks and food if you’re feeling peckish which is lovely. Quiz Nights and Aqua Areobics are the best!! Already can’t wait to come back next year 🍋🌊🐚

Beautiful 5* hotel! Staff were friendly and helpful with well spoken English for us poor people that speak little Spanish! Facilities were clean and safe, good entertainment considering the season and it's located as a gated property on the beach. Perfect! Prices in the shop and bar were a little high but there were supermarkets and restaurants locally that could be accessed. All in all, a fab 4 day stay.
Jeanette B — Google review
I really do not recommend this place. They use an excessive amount of plastic for everything, single-use items everywhere, and there seems to be absolutely no consideration for the environment. Trash is handled carelessly, and the whole setup feels completely unsustainable. Environmental activists should seriously visit and see the mess for themselves, this is just not acceptable in 2025. During our stay, no one came to clean the room, even though daily cleaning was supposed to be included. When we mentioned it, no one seemed to care. The food was also a huge disappointment. The pasta tasted like something from a school cafeteria, overcooked, bland, and completely unappetizing. Definitely not worth the money. Avoid this place!
Aurélié C — Google review
Part of the Marriott vacation club scheme so a slightly different vibe to a standard Marriott set up. However, easy to book whether or not you’re part of the MVC scheme. Numerous pools, onsite restaurants (el med and the sports bar) and the self catering rooms are perfect for a breakaway. Right on the beach and walking distance to some on the beach restaurants. Typical Marriott excellent rooms and staff couldn’t be more helpful. Uber gets you about easily so plenty to explore. Very kid friendly with children ranging from babies to teens during the school holidays, however there is a dedicated ‘quiet pool’ and plenty of areas to relax away from the main pool ‘action’.

Marriott’s Marbella Beach Resort is like our home away from home. We’ve been going back every year because it’s just perfect for our family. The beach, the pools, the gardens, everything is beautiful and so well kept. The apartments have everything we need and the staff always make us feel welcome. We’ve made so many special memories, and can’t wait for the next trip.

Lovely beach! Right across from the hotel I was staying in. Quiet and peaceful when I was there in November.⛱️ Plenty of sand to walk along and enjoy the ocean. Lots of restaurants on the beach edge too.

A beautiful beach with refreshing and clear water. Plenty of shady spots under the palm trees – perfect for relaxing. Unfortunately, some parrots shat on my towel, so I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars. Watch out and keep an eye on your towels !
Fynsky — Google review
A wide beach with natural shade under palm trees. It's not crowded. There is plenty of free parking, bars, and shops along the beach. The water has fine sand and is shallow, but the water is very murky and there are lots of floating algae. You can still swim even though it's October 1st.

Nice clean beach with many beach bars and restaurants. Deck chairs for rent. Supermarket at the back with cheap can beers and snacks. Waves can be strong so beware.

Went at 5 in the morning, super relaxing beach, beautiful palm trees and the water was clean and calm. Was able to really wind down as even being in a busy area it felt tranquil and easy.
