Smith’s Reef, located in the Turtle Cove area of Providenciales, is a popular destination for snorkeling enthusiasts. This coral reef area offers a diverse collection of reefs that are perfect for both experienced and beginner snorkelers.
Great place to snorkel for free. Other reviews talk about how good this place is but let me talk about who this place is not for. If you are not good with swimming in the ocean get a life jacket. There is no one to save you if something goes wrong. There are no people around. It’s pretty secluded. So this is not a place for amateurs. I am an amateur and that’s how i realized. If you have sensitive feet it will be hard to get into the water cause the coral when you enter the reef is sharp so get water shoes or fins. There is NO SHADE anywhere on the beach.
Mayur B — Google review
Nice place to snorkel. I got to swim with a small sea turtle. I didn't go out too far because I wasn't well prepared. Be sure to bring fins, goggles, and a snorkel. A life jacket is also helpful.
AREG — Google review
Just back from Turks and Caicos. Highly recommend going to Smiths reef. We stayed at Port of Call a 10 min cab ride to Smiths Reef. CJ our driver took us there and brought us back a 12 dollar ride per person each way from our hotel. We stayed about five hours. The coral was beautiful and the fish plentiful. Swam with sea turtles. Saw many barracudas and loads of bright playful fish I recommend starting to the left of the reef and making your way to the red water markers to the right The current makes it easy About three reefs in total. We thought about doing a snorkelling tour but decided to go here first Never did the tour So glad we came here. Others out snorkeling but not over crowded
Carol B — Google review
Amazing snorkeling spot right off the beach. We also did a catamaran out to the barrier reef and snorkeled there, but this was so much better and free! All I wanted to do was see a sea turtle, and we saw 2 here and none when we went out to the barrier reef. Along with snorkeling gear, I would bring fins and some kind of flotation device as it can get tiring being out there. I think the best area to snorkel is around the circle of orange buoys. We will definitely go back!
Amanda F — Google review
Best snorkeling spot we have been since Aruba. We got to swim with turtles all 3 days we went there and we were the only ones at the beach for the exception of one afternoon. It was kind scary not gonna lie, as we know we could also encounter a shark. But I am obsessed with swimming with turtles since I did for the first time over 10 years ago when I was living in Brazil, and as usual it was magic and got to add another place to the list.
Ina G — Google review
Best snorkeling on the island from the shore. Turtles, barracuda, blow fish, and other fun sea life. Pro tip. Enter the water near the pile of rocks to the far left on the beach. Easiest entry. Drift with the current until you hit the orange buoy further down the beach. Exit the shore there and walk back to where you entered the water and left your stuff. Don’t be the clowns who swim against the current to get back. Bring mask, snorkel, fins, and a water proof camera to take pictures. Have fun. Felt safe the entire time and none of our stuff was messed with while we were in the water for an hour or so.
Sarah D — Google review
The reef is very cool, must have water shoes unless you enter and exit down by the marina jetty, urchins lurk in the rocks. We found it easiest to drop stuff at the actual beach then walk up to the reef and snorkel all the way back down. Lots or sea turtles, stingrays and eagle rays, lots of fish, coral was in decent shape but suffering from ocean warming, bouyed off area is protected but you can swim around the outside.
Mark G — Google review
This reef has an abundant of seas turtles roaming around. We counted 20! The reef itself is mostly dead and the fish are unimpressive, but the presence of turtles made it up for all. To top it we spotted a beautiful sand shark. Water depth is mostly shallow even 100 ft into the ocean. Just ensure you enter where the red circled buoys are and you’ll be good.

Grace Bay Beach is a renowned public beach with powdery white sand and tranquil waters, conveniently located near island resorts. The area around the beach offers stunning British colonial architecture and enchanting torch-lit gardens for a romantic atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as swimming, snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, and kayaking in the calm waters. Additionally, amenities like bars, restaurants, resorts, parking, and washrooms are easily accessible from the northside beaches.
Peaceful and serenely beautiful, this beach is a must visit. The sand is so soft and white and the water is warm and translucent. It’s also part of a national park. Public parking is free at some locations. Enjoy! Voted #1 beach in the WORLD by TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards in 2022, World Travel Award, and one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean

Grace Bay Beach, Turks and Caicos… Need I say more? Pictures and videos could never do this place justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially during those quiet early morning sunrises when the world feels still and perfect. The water is crystal clear, the sand is like powder, and the peace you feel just standing there is something you can’t capture in a frame, you have to experience it for yourself. Truly paradise. Highly recommended.
The C — Google review
Ranked as the best beach in the Caribbean and for good reasons. White dands, pink seashells, gentle waters, clear waters, vibrant seabed, turquoise waters. Leeward beach is a close second but what puts Grace Bay at the top is the services nearby and an extra level of refinement
Rajkiran N — Google review
The most AMAZING beach I have ever been to. Blue water like no other, clean, safe, relaxing, and walk in to town along the beach. I swam in the water for hours. The best part? The sunsets!!!!!
Nikki J — Google review
We were staying on the northwest side of Provo but we made the drive to Grave Bay. The beach has powder soft sand and crystal clear blue Caribbean water. We brought towels and an umbrella. There were chairs available to rent at a price but we just enjoyed the sand. The water was so warm and relaxing. The beach is huge. It can be busy in certain spots but you can always move to where it isn’t as busy. One of the most amazing beachs we have been to.

This is the most beautiful beach I have seen. The water is so beautiful and the sand is so soft !! It is definitely one of the best beaches in the world !

According to ChatGPT this beach is ranked top 5 beaches in the world. We had a great time! Crystal clear water, soft sand, and very safe. Found a conch & a school of fish while snorkeling. We will absolutely be back!

The most beautiful beach I’ve ever stayed on. It is so blue and peaceful. At times it can have rougher waves but nothing to prevent you from swimming. It’s so centrally located with so many resorts, shops and dining. All beaches are public with multiple public access points.

If you're looking for a fantastic snorkeling experience in Providenciales, Coral Gardens, also known as Bight Reef, is the place to be. Nestled near the popular Grace Bay Beach and accessible from the Coral Gardens Resort beachfront, this stunning site welcomes both novice and seasoned snorkelers. The reef stretches about 350 feet from shore and is home to an impressive array of marine life including sea turtles, stingrays, and vibrant parrotfish.
Fantastic spot for snorkeling off the beach. Area is bordered by rope to safely guide yourself around the outside of the reef. Don't give up on the water clarity as it changes with the tide.
Joel C — Google review
I can definitely see the beautiful coral becoming more whitewashed with each visit. There still some amazing fish, none the less. The far right corner is the prime spot. PLEASE USE REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN AT EVERY OCEAN/BEACH.
CJ B — Google review
Construction right next our condo was very annoying. Condo was nice. Beach was nice. Jerome at the towel check was #1. He extended himself and was the best part.
Mark S — Google review
Nice reef to swim out side of and a little restaurant called somewhere
Sarah M — Google review
In December I went to Turks and Caicos, I was staying at coral gardens resort, I went to places like smiths reef ( don’t touch the rope cause you get burns) and even went out on a boat. The best snorkelling from everywhere I went was coral gardens, I saw one nurse shark, 3-10 turtles, 4 stingrays or manta rays and a bunch of tropical fish. Lovely area and low key nicer than Grace bay xx have a got visit x
Lucy A — Google review
The “famous ” coral reef has been over-swam by tens of thousands of tourists, and thus, it is in poor condition with few fishes or other ocean life. It is just off the beach right in front of the Coral Gardens condos/resort. Don’t let the vendor near the public entrance to the beach charge you $15 to rent a lounge chair and $25 for an umbrella. Bring your own beach pop-up shelter, etc. Only decent thing at this area is the “Somewhere” Cafe (restaurant) that is a part of the Coral Gardens resort. It overlooks the beach with two levels. Good food.
M L — Google review
Not the healthiest reef that I’ve ever snorkeled, but I saw an octopus and a decent variety of fish.
Mark M — Google review
Good place for snorkeling, especially with young kids. This reef is closest to the shore (20-30 ft away) and has a good variety of fish. Snorkel around the area protected by ropes and buoys. Bring own snorkeling gear. Free public access.

Malcolm's Road Beach is a pristine 1.3-mile-long stretch of white sandy beach located in a marine national park with a barrier reef. It offers excellent snorkeling opportunities, especially at Northwest Point Marine National Park and the barrier reef. The beach is known for its natural beauty and seclusion, making it an ideal spot for those seeking tranquility. Amanyara, a luxury resort, is situated on this picturesque beach, adding to its allure.
Great beach to spend a full afternoon. Lots of sea urchins and shells in the sand and the occasional sand dollar. The road out is rough, but go slow and you can get there with any vehicle
Caroline W — Google review
We were staying at the Northwest Point Resort and looking for a place to watch the sunset. We decided to make the drive to Malcom’s Beach. It was perfect for a sunset. The road is rocky and bumpy. It was not a long drive for us but if staying at Grave Bay it would be a hike. We had an SUV and this would be recommended. We had the place to ourselves for the sunset so we decided to check it out the next day. We had a cooler, chairs and umbrella so we made the trip. It is secluded with no amenities. The beach was great and we had the place to ourselves again. We did lots of snorkeling. Great relaxing day at the beach.
Andy S — Google review
Beautiful beach! The waves were pretty choppy when we went (pretty stormy around the island) so we weren't able to go snorkeling, but we walked up and down the beach to explore and had a great time. The colors of the ocean were unreal. Barely any other people when we went so it felt very private and secluded as well.
Denise M — Google review
Nice beach to do some snorkelling in the artificial reef and new one. Also one of the nicest beach near the most luxurious resort on the island at $6500/night!
Jean-Philippe C — Google review
What a fantastic beach! It is super clean and there are very little people there. I love the experience and we did a lot of snorkeling! If you can get a drone up, it is beautiful!
Renee S — Google review
I'm sure there's a decent beach on the other end of the unpaved road. If you have a small rental, you will probably wreck it going through this road. Highly recommend at least a mid size suv for this road
Rajkiran N — Google review
One of the best place to watch sunset. This beach is beautiful and super quiet. The road is unpaved and its really difficult to get there with a compact car , definitely 4wd recommend. For snorkel u have to swim bit further close to the edge of the reef. Sunset is priceless!!!
Martin K — Google review
The road is a bit rough to get into, but I highly recommend the drive in. Beautiful beach with nice rock outcroppings for exploring and finding shells and sealife. Great place to watch the sunset as well. Took my daughter's grad photos here as well. Definitely a must see place.

National park
Northwest Point National Park in Providenciales is a haven for exploration and snorkeling. The largely uninhabited region offers stunning coastal scenery and exceptional snorkeling opportunities during calm conditions. The park's secluded nature adds to its appeal, with sand-filled depressions in the ancient coral shelf at Malcolms Road providing fascinating details. The rugged coastline and tiny protected coves make it perfect for those who enjoy off-the-beaten-track experiences.
Very beautiful walk out to the point. You can’t really drive all the way out like you see on maps. The sand gets loose and deep. The driving trail is tight, it looks inaccessible at first (as of 4/24/25) as the foliage is tight at the entrance but it opens up a bit. Definitely do not enter without 4 wheel drive and even then, keep moving. Do not stop or you could get stuck. There are VERY FEW places to pull off so cross your fingers you don’t run into someone coming the opposite direction or it’s gonna be a mess. One of you is going to have to back up. EXPERIENCED OFF ROAD DRIVERS ONLY!!!! You have to know how to drive in reverse if you catch someone coming towards you! You can only go so far. There comes a point where you reach a tight and obvious S curve with a clear parking space on the beach side of the trail. This is where you stop. Pay attention! If the sand looks different (it goes from packed sand to very very loose deep sand) you need to stop because it only gets worse from there. You CAN NOT drive all the way to the end like you see on maps. It’s not possible anymore. 4 wheelers would have a really hard time because the sand is so loose. You’ll have to walk but it’s very pretty along the beach all the way out to the point. The water is gorgeous!!! Wear water shoes or something that can get wet because your shoes will fill with sand and possibly seaweed depending on the time of year. Sand spurs are also. Problem. Don’t step off the trail. Some type of footwear, even flip flops, is highly recommended! Take water and maybe some light snacks. It’s not terribly long but it took us about 1.5 hrs to walk from the jeep out to the point, fiddle around the tide pools, take pics of the electric blue water on the far west side of the island, and then walk back. Leave no trace! Only footprints! Lots of sea urchins in the tide pools especially close to the waters edge. You can pick them up. They won’t hurt you. Just be gentle! They do move slowly and might feel like they’re pinching you but I promise they don’t pinch, their little spines just move so slowly and that’s how they move around. They don’t have enough strength to hurt a child but you’ll feel them moving around in your hand. Be sure to put them down exactly where you found them, with their beaks down!
M. T — Google review
We drove out in our little rental, Chevy Spark, looking for Space X debre (that exploded over Turks a week ago). The sand road leading out there's very narrow, thank goodness no one was coming from opposite direction. It's very serene and beautiful out there, but also eerie, being so far from town and all alone. We ended up finding quite a bit of Space X debre and we didn't get stuck... mainly because we knew when to stop driving and walk to the water.
Kellie B — Google review
My family was staying at the Northwest Point Resort so we decided to make the drive to the Northwest Point to watch the sunset. I had made the walk/run earlier to check everything out and saw a couple of 4 WD vehicles make the trip. I had an SUV so we decided to give it a try. It is a sandy one lane road with very few areas to pass cars. When it gets sandy where you can see the ocean stop unless you have 4 WD. You will get stuck in the sand. There are lots of boards and holes where you can see people that got stuck and had to get out. We got stuck in the sand and couldn’t get it out. We tried to call our rental company and no answer. Luckily we were staying close and were able to walk back to our resort. I borrowed a shovel and made my way back to dig the car out. When I finally got out there was another car coming. I told them to be careful but they also got stuck. The beach is very secluded and cool to see. Just park and walk or try other places. It was a nice trail for running/walking
Andy S — Google review
If you are looking for a quiet time in TCI this place will give you that. Visit when the tide is low to find great conch shells. Getting there wasn’t too bad. We drove all the way to the start of the sandy path and decided to park on the side of the road. Walk to the beach was about 20min. There were some people that drove all the way to the beach but the path there is very narrow and two cars may not be able to pass in some places. There is a lot of seaweed so a bit hard to swim but there are some spots were you can take a dip. The very tip of the island is very rocky and great for pictures. We were surprised by the amount of litter but we also saw some locals walking the beach and picking it up. Some boat wrecks can we found. We spent 2 hours there just walking the beach and taking in the beautiful views.
Sylwia S — Google review
This is worth the walk or drive out here. If you can go at low tide, there is so much to see and explore. We happened to be there at low tide and were able to explore the tide pools. Lots of sea life and interesting things to see. There appeared to be 4 boat wrecks or parts or parts of boats that had been wrecked.
Lanster — Google review
So we rented a jeep and wanted to go to the national park. The parks in Turks are not staffed or monitored they are just undeveloped areas. The road out here is only passible with 4x4, don’t come out with a regular car or you’ll get stuck for sure. It was a fun drive in the Jeep about 15 mins once the paved road ends. It’s only wide enough for 1 vehicle and youll be scraping brush the whole time. Once you get out to the end at the NW point it has a nice view. Some tide pools in the rocks. Turks has some pretty crazy laws like going in the water or fishing there will cost you $50,000 plus jail time… so beware just enjoy the scenery. About scenery the one star down is for all the trash everywhere. It’s all over and we took a bunch of it back with us in the jeep to throw away at the hotel but didn’t make a dent in all of it.
Drew J — Google review
I will definitely recommend this destination to anybody!! I see there’s some bad reviews on here, but they obviously failed to actually walk the beach and notice the HUNDREDS of washed up conch shells and awesome tide pools. No joke we found dozens of conch shells as we walked. It was a conch graveyard! Kind of sad to see since they’re becoming endangered, but their shells are still beautiful. Don’t plan on getting in the water cuz it’s rocky and there’s an obscene amount of seagrass. It was enjoyable to walk down the beach and back though. Just keep in mind I wouldn’t spend more than 2 hours here exploring the beach, conch shells, and tide pools. Not much else to do there. That narrow road heading in (Old Northwest Point Trail) was easily accessible in a Nissan x-trail. Definitely tight, but totally doable. Just don’t drive past where the trail opens up by the ocean. When the trail gets to that point there’s deep sand where many cars have gotten stuck (You can tell by how dug up the sand is and all of the tire marks). Anyways unless your schedule is completely booked with other excursions don’t pass up this destination. It was 100% worth it.
Yadon W — Google review
It was pretty tough to get there in our little rental car, but we made it. Almost got stuck in the soft sand. We'd recommend not trying this if you don't have a lot of off-road experience. The views are amazing, and there is plenty of wildlife and shells to search out. We spent a few hours here and never saw another person, which is just perfect for us.

Long Bay Beach, located on the southeast coast of Providenciales, is a popular destination known for its three-mile stretch of white sand and clear turquoise waters. The beach is a hotspot for kiteboarding due to its shallow waters and consistent winds, making it ideal for both beginners and experts. Visitors can also enjoy horseback riding along the shore or take a boat charter to see the shipwrecked Soviet oil rig-turned-Caribbean freighter, La Famille Express.
Beautiful beach in the morning. Plenty of conch shells around if you're looking for one. It's a little rocky in the water. There is barely anyone around in the morning. Just watch out for some jet skiis. They can get pretty close to the beach, which i don't think they're allowed to do within the bouys.
Rog — Google review
Nice very long white sand beach. It’s a windy one so this is why it’s a favorite for kite the surfers. While being there we saw the a group of horse riders passing. There are a couple of passages along the road behind it. Just look for one and park.

Long Bay Beach, Turks and Caicos Absolutely beautiful—especially at sunrise. Watching the sun come up over the calm, clear water is truly breathtaking. The beach has a peaceful vibe, but there’s also something energizing about being there—it just fills your soul. Whether you’re looking to relax or recharge, this spot delivers. Highly recommend checking it out!
The C — Google review
Loved this beach!!! The water was beautiful and calmer than the grace bay side. Plenty of places to try kiteboarding ($190-$240) and jet skiing ($180-$230) along the beach. Less people and more private than grace bay. Just bring your own chairs!
Samantha — Google review
The beaches and water in Turks are amazing. Long bay beach, as the name implies, is a long stretch of fine sand and teal water. A few rocks and watch put for the kite surfers. Someone almost got taken out by a kite in front of me. The sand is a bit fine for sand castles.
C B — Google review
I spent the day on the beach, alone. It’s secluded and shallow. There are options for water sports, when you check in with one of the fellas on shore. The water was cool and beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like about this beach compared to the others was the sea weed. But if you don’t mind some algae rubbing up on you, then you’ll love it here!
JAY B — Google review
Lots of seaweed here despite workers attempting to rake it up. The sand was also littered with sticks and debris, not too nice to walk on. The parking lot (which is right next to The Shore Club) was very small and jam packed. It is a beautiful view but there are much better beaches on the island. I wouldn't bother with Long Bay unless water sports is your thing!
Rob L — Google review
Really like this beach. Not as busy as Grace Bay. Very long and nice to walk along. Quite a lot of jetski as wreck close by but guys only ask once if interested and don't pester you. Do have to walk a long way out for any depth if you want to swim!!! Soft white sand, beautiful water. Lovely. Some people mentioned that it was hard to get on, but we found 2 places with easy access to beach - one where you parked on road and crossed over to the path and another further along where you could drive down to a kind of car park. Just googled beach access on maps!!

The beach's shallow waters are great for families and provide opportunities for wading or stand-up paddleboarding. Visitors can also enjoy the secluded location with luxury rental villas available beachfront.
On Provo, Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay are the 2 best beaches on the island for small children. It's the most beautiful clear, turquoise colored water that is calm and approximately knee deep for hundreds of yards out, the sand is soft and white. It's like a dream. Get there early to find decent parking.

Idyllic beach with white sand and the most beautiful little shells. The water is shallow and you can walk far into the ocean. Very secluded. Very romantic. If you’re lucky you find a sea star in the sand, and even entertain a school of fish. The best time to visit is during the weekday when traffic is bare. Perfect place to camp out and watch the sunset. This is my favorite beach on Provo.
JAY B — Google review
Nice shallow water. But you have significant beach erosion here and decent amount of seaweed washing onto the shores. No fish whatsoever. The water is about waist deep going out about 200 ft so it’s very calm. But the water is a bit murky compared to Grace Bay Beach on the North Atlantic side.

Most certainly the greatest beach of Caïcos. Calm while the others are windy. You will walk a mile until you get water to your waist. Perfect for young children. No service, so bring water, a lunch, and sun umbrella. Take the passage to the beach, find a spot and relax enjoying the view.
Jean-Philippe C — Google review
Beautiful beach, it is fairly shallow and very friendly for young children. It has quite a few trees along the side for shade. Nice to relax with a chair in the water.

We had heard about Taylor Bay and decided to stop by. We had spent most of the day at Grace Bay and stopped at Taylor Beach on the way back to our condo. The beach was not very busy. The water was so clear and it was very shallow. It was great for young kids and they could walk so far out. The water was very warm and it was a clam protected bay. We wish we would have stayed longer and did not have a chance to go back on this trip.
Andy S — Google review
The best beach you will ever go to! Absolutely stunning and marvelous 😍😍😍 Escape the crowds from the rest of the island, really hard to beat this beach.
Pipe M — Google review
Taylor Beach is a very nice beach to relax, put two chairs and an umbrella for a couple of hours. The water is clean and clear and also calm for little ones. They do have jellyfish in the water so you have to be careful. It is very shallow And you can walk to the middle of the ocean and it will be chest deep. There are multi million dollar Villas surrounding the beach. This is not a very busy beach so you’ll feel somewhat like it’s your own. The water is very low during low tide. The sand is nice and soft would come here again during high tide. Parking is somewhat limited in a residential area but it has a beach access and you will have to carry all your gear down the path.

Chalk Sound National Park in Turks and Caicos is a stunning natural wonder with its glassy turquoise waters and small rocky islands. Motorized boats are not allowed, but visitors can enjoy activities like stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking in the park's lagoons. Nearby beaches like Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay offer calm, shallow waters for families to enjoy.
Chalk Sound National Park in Turks and Caicos is a breathtaking natural wonder that feels like a slice of paradise. Located on the southwest side of Providenciales, this stunning lagoon is known for its vibrant, almost surreal turquoise waters, which contrast beautifully with the hundreds of small limestone islets scattered throughout. The color of the water is so vivid, it looks like it’s been photoshopped, making it one of the most picturesque spots on the island. The park is perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, or simply taking in the views from the shore. The calm, shallow waters make it an ideal spot for families and those looking for a peaceful, scenic experience. While swimming isn’t typically recommended due to the rocky terrain, the beauty of the area more than makes up for it. There aren’t many amenities within the park, so it’s best to bring your own gear and supplies. However, the nearby Sapodilla Bay offers a great spot for a swim if you’re looking to cool off. Whether you’re an avid photographer, a nature lover, or just someone looking to relax in a pristine setting, Chalk Sound National Park is a must-visit, offering some of the most stunning views in Turks and Caicos.
Nicholas D — Google review
My personal favorite part of the island. Beautiful calm waters with plenty to explore, great place to do kayaking, paddle boarding and even some snorkeling. You can find coral, tropical fish, lobster and much more living in these waters. There are many small islands, a few bars restaurants you can pull up to, and a sunken plane to explore.
Ryan F — Google review
The Chalk Sound is beautiful. There’s no where to really park to view it, so we just stopped by the side of the road. I would love it if they had a public access area where you can park and get close to the water. Very beautiful scenery though, definitely worth visiting and then stopping by Sapodilla Beach.

Island Vibes Tours offers a thrilling half-day boat ride experience that includes snorkeling at a vibrant reef, exploring the remote Half Moon Bay with its rock iguanas, and enjoying rum punch and high diving from the boat's roof. The booking process is convenient, with pick-up options from various Grace Bay Resorts. Snorkeling gear is provided for an exciting underwater exploration. After snorkeling, guests can savor a quick meal before heading to Half Moon Island.
We were a big group of 14 family and friends…Captain Emilio and Tour leader Palmer facilitated a fantastic 3 hour afternoon tour! Their humour and ability to engage all guests on a very personal level created a very warm, family feeling. They inspired everyone to Snorkel the reef and to slide or jump off the boat during hilarious swim times! We saw iguanas on Iguana Island! The music kept everyone amped up and smiling! No one wanted to leave the boat at tour end! We definitely will return to Island Vibe and hope to meet Emilio and Palmer again!!

During our stay in Turks we decided to book a tour with them!! Our guides were amazing!! I can not say it enough- how nice everyone is on the island!! During our 4 hour tour they constantly checked on us, offered us drinks, kept us laughing, gave us lots of interesting information about things on the island. We even saw a shark while snorkeling! We saw JOJO the dolphin on the way back in. Iguana island has to be a favorite part of the island so far. Beautiful area!! I highly recommend booking with them! They picked us up right at our resort on the beach!!! We had a great time!

Spike and Sysco were unbelievable- amazing music, vibes, everything! They were entertaining, told us all about the celebrities on the island, showed us the amazing turtles and took us to private islands! 10/10 would suggest this for anyone! Not to mention- the food. I was not prepared for the grilled corn, BBQ chicken and ribs…. It was one of the best meals of our trip. Love them!

My family of four (parents, two teens) just returned from our trip, of which Island Vibes was the highlight. Lamont and Cisco took great care of us on our half day snorkel tour. They were safe, courteous, and funny. The pickup spot was easy to find, and the boat was already there waiting on our arrival. The boat (Sweet Pea) was comfortable, and it was nice to have a bit of shade when you wanted a break. The snorkeling stop was really great - so many colorful fish, coral, and plants. Cisco made sure the gear fit everyone beforehand. I just wish we'd had an underwater camera. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Island Vibes boat tour was amazing. Staff are professional, attentive, and go over safety procedures. First time scuba diving. They were helpful in showing us what to do. Stopped at two islands. Just beautiful. You can sit at top of boat as an option. Sandwich and snacks on four hour tour. It goes fast. We brought our water shoes. They were helpful. We stayed at Windsong resort which we highly recommend. 10 stars for boat tour. Thank you so much for all the work you do as staff to make this a great experience. Hopefully this is helpful.

My wife, daughters (12&15), and I did a four hour trip today with Captain Ron and it was one of the most pleasurable experiences we have had as a family. Everyone enjoyed the snorkeling, hanging at iguana island, and doing flips from the top deck into the beautiful waters. Captain Ron and his crew is what really made the trip over the top! We chatted quite a bit with him during our stop at Iguana island. He recommended some local fare that was 100% on point. What a great Captain, crew, and overall experience.

Private Sunset Cruise on Hakuna Matata yacht with Island Vibes We had the most beautiful evening on the private sunset cruise with Hakuna Matata Island Vibes on June 10. From start to finish, everything felt relaxed, romantic, and thoughtfully done. The crew was warm and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed without being intrusive. The boat was clean, spacious, and had the perfect island vibe — laid back but still polished. As we cruised along the coast, we sipped on chilled drinks and enjoyed a light snack spread while watching the sky shift into the most stunning colors. The music was a nice mix of mellow island tunes, setting the perfect mood. What really stood out was how personal it felt. It wasn’t rushed, and we were given time to just soak it all in — the calm water, the warm breeze, and the incredible views. It was the kind of experience that makes you pause and just appreciate where you are and who you’re with. Highly recommend for couples looking for something intimate and special. A true highlight of our trip.

Should be called “Blight” Park. It is just a beach access. Otherwise, it is a run-down and trash-filled “park”. It seems there is no maintenance from the government of TCI. It appears that booze-drinking vagrants hang out here. Don’t leave valuables in your car! NO FISH FRY ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE HERE.

One of my favourite parks, I’ve been going here since a child in the 90s. It used to be the beach hub for local events and private picnics. For a while they used to have the Fish Fry there but since has been left for public access anyone can get to. It’s a great place for tourists and locals to escape the buzzing beaches of Grace Bay. From my experience it’s been a safe place to go.

This is a quiet beach, the two times we have visited it's been quite windy, which offers up great conditions for sailing and certain water sports but the water may get a bit rough to swim in. Overall nice sand and water is the beautiful turquoise blue. Great place to just come and hangout as the sun is setting, you don't get a good look at the sunset itself, but the sky is very pretty.

Sapodilla Bay Beach, situated about 10 miles from Grace Bay on the south coast of Providenciales, is a picturesque and secluded white sand beach. It's popular among families with small children due to its shallow, clear, and warm waters. The beach also offers good snorkeling conditions with colorful reef fish, coral, and sea urchins thriving at the base of small coastal cliffs.
What a shallow and beautiful beach for the whole family. My son met some nice Ohionian family members for some beach football. It was a little crowded near the trail entrance, so we walked to the other end of the cove where it was more serene. The calm waters is a huge contrast and respite to the windy northern shore of Grace Bay which has its own charm and beauty.

Small, but beautiful beach! Chair rentals available. Two beach side bars. The availability of ordering food from local pub/restaurant in which food will be delivered to you on the beach. You can rent jet skis as well.
Matt M — Google review
Beautiful spot if you like calm waters, and a little bit more of a smaller beach setting. You can rent chairs and umbrellas. Each chair is $10 and every umbrella is 20 bucks. The water is shallow. You could walk out 100 yards and the water is knee level. You can order food and drinks and pay to ride Sidhu’s and they have some water sports. This was one of my favourite beaches on the entire island.

Visitors can enjoy various aquatic activities in the calm coastal waters, such as kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. No fuss no muss gorgeous beach experience Beautiful and so serene. Come for the calm swimmable water and smaller crowds than Grace Bay, stay for the greatest sunsets of your life. Sometimes there are chairs and umbrellas dropped off and if you grab one the person who runs them just comes and grabs cash from you.

Without the construction, this would be a nice beach. Very rocky in the water, but the water is clear and beautiful. Take your own beach chairs and umbrella as they were trying to charge $60 to rent two chairs and umbrella. We had our own so that was a good thing. No bathroom around.

One of the non-crowded beaches on TCI. This is a high quality beach, secluded, no service though but that means most of the time there is no one here. Water is quite calm, no waves, clear as expected from TCI waters. There is a T shaped jetty that offers great viewpoints

Leeward beach was beautiful. There was minimal people there each day and plenty of parking for cars. Easy to get to. I took a star away as when we were there, construction behind the beach was going on everyday with big machines moving rocks and such. Was a little disruptive/noisy. Overall I’d recommend though. Pretty peaceful still and not busy.

Easy and ample parking. Short walk from parking to the beach. Great sand and not too crowded. Recently there is construction right next to the beach which can be noisy but it’s not too bad. We have paddle boarded and seen dolphins close to the beach in the past. Beautiful place to watch the sunset.

There are many beaches on the island. Pelican Beach has nothing special really, one thing that is special though is the color of water. It looks just like acid. Do not come here for snorkeling, water is mixed up with send visibility is not the best. This beach is for morning - afternoon and the color of water is insane. Often times waves get big when you get a north wind.
Roma S — Google review
Update: overall our favorite little beach on Provo. Enter at Nightjar Rd. The most amazing water color you'll ever see. And tons of pelicans! The water color is breathtaking all over the island but there's something about Pelican Beach that is even more unbelievable. Must see in person to truly appreciate. The photos I took are not photo shopped at all - the water really is that color! Depending on the sky it goes from a bright turquoise to a baby blue. Other than a few residents walking dogs, we saw no one at this beach either day we visited. We watched kite surfers around in the East side. You can also look across the water to the mangroves and iguana island.

Little Water Cay, also known as Iguana Island, is an uninhabited island off Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos. It's home to a sanctuary for Rock Iguanas. Visitors can kayak to the island and enjoy the experience of seeing these little iguana friends up close. The island offers clear turquoise waters and opportunities to see wildlife such as lemon sharks, turtles, and starfish along the way.
Iguana island is spectacular. An uninhabited island with nothing around but nature and lizards. They are super friendly and will run towards you to greet you. Don’t be scared, they are just inquisitive and perhaps expect a treat. Beautiful beach there as well

Little Water Cay, Turks and Caicos — AKA IGUANA ISLAND!!! The name says it all an island full of iguanas! But don’t let that scare you off it’s still absolutely beautiful and such an unforgettable experience. My girls were loving it… until the iguanas started walking toward them…hilarious! Had to capture their reactions on video! It’s not for the faint of heart, but if you’re up for a little adventure (and maybe making a few scaly new friends), this place is a must-visit. We conquered the island and came back with wild memories. Definitely recommend!
The C — Google review
We kayaked out to the Iguana Island because we wanted the experience of kayaking and to see the little iguana friends. It was definitely worth the trip. It took us about 45 minutes (in choppy weather) to reach the island. Once there, we were greeted by a man asking for our passes (provided by Big Blue Unlimited) for the island ($10). Evidently though, to head to the north part of the island, they charge an additional $5, so it is worth it to have a little bit of cash on hand. We didn't actually see anybody taking money and walked all the way to Half Moon Bay Beach.

Absolutely gorgeous. For SUPers, park at the public marina for $5, and you can look for the yellow house on the way back. Be sure to check for tides and winds before you go. It’s very difficult when windy. So many sea turtles, fish beaches to snorkel.

Go here if you can! We rented a tandem kayak for the day and were quite impressed by everything here. You can go solo or you can be part of a tour, either one will get you there, but the tour would certainly give you more information. We saw pufferfish, baby sharks, jellyfish, turtles...all in the mangroves. It is super important to remember that the mangrove cay is impassible during low tide, so ask at a rental place for the times you'll be able to go out. While you're out, you should also make a day trip of it and head over to the LIttle Water Cay and see the iguanas and hike up to Half Moon Bay Beach.

Must do during tci visit ! Wow lot of baby shark and sea turtle. Easy on paddleboard or kayak at high tide only. Rent kayak or have a guide for a lot of information on mangrove. #kitesurfingtci have great tour for that.

If you can, definitely go here! If you're an experienced kayaker, it's easy enough to cross the channel and kayak into the mangroves if the weather allows it. Otherwise, given there are boats that cross the channel, it's worth heading there with a guide or tour company. The cay is filled with juvenile fish, sharks and rays as the young are protected by the natural barriers of the mangroves. The water isn't super deep so it's easy to see these guys from the comfort of your kayak. Highly recommend and was a real highlight during the trip to TCI!

Reefs
Coral Gardens Reef is a popular spot for snorkeling in Turks and Caicos. The reef is currently being restored, with a designated area marked by orange buoys. It's recommended to visit on a calm day to avoid strong winds and choppy waters. The shallow areas are home to colorful fish, making it an ideal spot for beginners. Visitors should wear reef-friendly sunscreen and be mindful of the protected section, indicated by buoys and guards whistling if you stray too close.
Some of the best snorkeling during our trip was at Coral Gardens. It is very easy to get to and plenty of parking (set your Maps to Coral Gardens Resort). The beach itself is beautiful of course, being an extension of Grace Bay. But we were amazed at the snorkeling. You can't miss the reef since they have it marked and roped off. Just swim all around the outside of the ropes and be prepared to see some amazingly colorful fish. We didn't see any turtles or rays here (try Smith's Reef for that) but we loved how easy it was to get to and how close to shore the reef was. This would be a perfect place to bring children to snorkel. In our opinion, no trip to T&C would be complete without a stop here!
Rob L — Google review
Coral Gardens was recommended as an easy spot to go to the beach and snorkel. We were on vacation with a 5 and 8 year old. They are both good swimmers and have started snorkeling. Coral Gardens was perfect for them. We saw tons of fish and a few squid. The kids had a blast. Stay away from the ropes and buoys. A lot of people were touching the ropes and were getting cut or stung? Not sure exactly what it was but be careful. We ate at Somewhere Cafe which was right on the beach. Good Amanda drinks were very good.

One a few places on the island that is free. the beach is crowded as there is a big hotel in the restaurant right next to it. Snorkeling is OK. Little reefs here and there. You could see sharks rays, turtles and other small fish.
Roma S — Google review
Excellent snorkeling especially if you get there in the morning (10 or 11) There is shade if you walk past the umbrellas (paid) and there are a few pine trees. There is a shallow area that is separate from the area with buoys and we had Excellent views of lots of different fish

Loved Coral Gardens Reef and the beach! It was steps away from our accommodations, which was nice. Our two year old snorkeled for the first time and he loved it and he just couldn’t get enough! Lots of fish and in all colors! It’s not very deep, so be sure to have shoes on to not damage the reef and remember to use coral friendly sunscreen. There’s a section that’s protected, stay out or you will be whistled at by the guards to stay out. Try to stay on the NW side of the buoys.

Great place to snorkel! There are a lot of different kinds of sea animals and beautiful coral flora. We even sow a sea turtle!
Grzegorz — Google review
You hear much about Coral Gardens for snorkeling, but there were not many fish or things to see when we were there during Spring Break. If you do go, head over early or late to avoid the crowds. Going late has another benefit; namely Somewhere Restaurant with great food, staff and killer sunset..

You can park near the Hotel or the street is always accessible by Walk and so far it IS the BEST spot to Snorkel 10/10 from all the Turks. Note. Don't rent chairs it's to expensice for nothing

Nestled alongside the picturesque Turtle Cove Marina, Sharkbite Bar & Grill is a beloved local haunt that perfectly captures the essence of island dining. This laid-back eatery offers an enticing menu filled with fresh seafood options like grilled snapper and conch fritters, as well as classic bar favorites such as sandwiches, wings, and nachos. The outdoor seating area provides stunning views where you might even catch a glimpse of sharks swimming by!
Have been twice now. Absolutely amazing food and great priced cocktails that are really worth your money. The conch chowder and almond grouper are amazing!!
Molly M — Google review
I picked up food to go. The sandwich was horrible, the bread not even toasted (it was requested ) and they threw ONE thick slice of pickle for the whole sandwich and a big peace of onion; the French fries were so bad that the kids didn’t even eat them. Ended up getting better sandwiches at the supermarket.
Noah A — Google review
We stopped into Sharkbite for dinner with our kids. It is definitely a bar atmosphere but the food was great. We sat right on the water and enjoyed the view of Turtle Cove. The almond grouper was to die for. One of the best entrees I had on the island. My wife got the jerk chicken and this was very good too. We wanted to go back but we didn’t get a chance on this vacation. Be sure to check them out.

Really yummy food, great service. On the more affordable side. Would definitely eat here again. The pastas were delicious! Get some wings too.

Ate here twice in the week we stayed on island. Of course, we mainly did so initially because it was walking distance from our villa we rented on coconut road. But that being said, I think it may be the best casual dining spot on the island. Quality of food for the price would be hard to beat. Almond crusted grouper was as good as any I ever had. Jerk chicken also as good as I ever had; fries are homemade and terrific. Burgers also terrific. Then the sunset view is very amazing as well. Will always be a stop when we’re visiting. Shout out to our server both times in “Jr.”.

Super cool atmosphere, good food, friendly people, good music, and super fresh seafood. By far the most tender calamari I’ve ever had! Very reasonably priced and their cocktails were on point! We went here 4 nights on our 7 night stay and don’t have a single complaint. If you find something to complain about, maybe your taste can afford one of the $17,000+ per night villas. Otherwise, enjoy your food, be nice, and tip appropriately! These folks work in perpetual summer and You’ll quickly realize how expensive it is to exist here when you go to buy groceries or put gas in your rental. TIP YOUR SERVERS!!!

Good food, beautiful location, we tried blackened grouper, conch fritters, fried grouper burger-all were delicious.

A great spot for the sunset and drinks. The almond crusted grouper is a must try. I went there twice for that! Hamburger is surprisingly good as well. One of the best spots in Turtle Bay TCI!

Very beautiful Beach! With a very shallow clear water and sugary white sand! The perfect place to take the child to learn how to swim. Or great place to swim with no worries and no waves. I could definitely live right on this Bay...

Gorgeous beach, incredibly aqua blue water, clear, you can see your feet! Unbelievable place.

My favourite beach on the island. Stayed in Turtle Cove and found this little gem, it was worth driving there! Bight Beach ended up being super windy so it was hard to hang out in the water, but on this side of TCI the water was amazingly calm. There's also a volleyball net in the water so an extra little activity as well as food and booze vendors. If you're looking for a chill, calm beautiful beach to go to, this is the one!

Best beach to watch the sunset! The beach is clean, has a few vendors (food/drink), jetskiing, kayaking, and paddle boarding options as well. You can also rent chairs and a beach umbrella, if you don't have your own. A must visit when in T&C!

Lemon 2 Go is a charming coffee shop located in Grace Bay, offering the best coffee on the island. The cafe shares its space with a lovely florist and gift shop, providing indoor seating as well as outdoor seating along Grace Bay's main street. Visitors can enjoy pre-made sandwiches, homemade pastries, breakfast sandwiches, muffins, croissants, and yogurt parfaits from their breakfast menu.
This is a cool coffee shop combined with a flower shop and small restaurant next door that serves breakfast and lunch. We had a blended matcha green tea latte, with a beef samosa, and chicken Jamaican patty. Both were very tasty and the customer service was very friendly. Definitely come here to visit if you like coffee and want some tasty bites to eat!

Great coffee shop in Grace Bay. We stopped in for delicious iced coffees on all 3 days of our trip. The smoothies are also tasty and filling. There is a small selection of baked goods, sandwiches, soft drinks, wine, and local merchandise, and outdoor seating in the shade.

A very unexpected find amongst the Grace Bay shops! I walked in just wanting a cold drink and walked out with good drinks, a cookie and a cute tote bag! The place is connected to a flower shop as well as a gelato spot. It’s also a gift shop and stationary shop all in one. Plenty of outdoor seating adorned with beautiful decor. Reminds me of a boutique-y place you’d find in big cities. Worth the visit :) Oh yeah, the drinks are great too haha

We absolutely LOVED Lemon 2 Go. It’s the best coffee on the island—trust me, we tried the other options, but we always came back to Lemon 2 Go. It’s delicious and the atmosphere is adorable but what sets it apart are the friendly, welcoming baristas. They are so sweet and made us want to come back every day (so we did). Also, they’re FAST, so don’t worry if there’s a long line. Thank you for our morning (and afternoon) coffee and the warm welcome, Lemon 2 Go!

I got the hazelnut latte and my husband got the maple latte (both iced, with oat milk). They were good! A little sweet, but you can ask for half sweet. We enjoyed them as they came. The decor in this place is super pretty. The sandbox is attached and it’s really cool looking in there with frozen rosè machines, food options, and a super cute gelato station. There’s a gift shop on the lemon 2 go side. Good WiFi access too. Would recommend!

The Grill at Grace Bay Club is a luxurious all-suite resort located on the stunning Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales. It boasts 1,100 feet of beachfront and is home to the renowned Infiniti Restaurant & Raw Bar, featuring sea-to-table cuisine and a 90-foot-long oceanview bar. The bar holds the record for being the longest in the Caribbean, offering breathtaking views of the beach and ocean.
Relaxing breakfast with ocean views We had breakfast at The Grill at Grace Bay Club several times during our stay, and it was consistently excellent. The setting is unbeatable—open-air dining right by the beach with a calm, peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to start the day. The breakfast menu had a great mix of à la carte items and buffet options. Everything we tried was fresh and well-prepared—from the tropical fruit and pastries to the made-to-order omelets and local dishes. Service was friendly and efficient without being rushed. Coffee was strong and came quickly (always appreciated!), and the fresh juices were a nice touch. Green juice was a favorite. The setting makes the whole experience feel elevated. It’s casual, relaxing, and exactly what you want in a beachfront breakfast. Highly recommend if you're staying at Grace Bay Club—or even if you’re not.

The Grill at Grace Bay Club in Providenciales provides a mixed experience deserving of a three-star rating. Let's start with the positives—the food was good, and the little service we received was satisfactory. The dishes offered were enjoyable, and the staff was attentive when present. However, there were notable drawbacks that led to the three-star rating. We visited for brunch at 10:45, expecting an unlimited brunch experience as advertised. Unfortunately, we were charged for the unlimited option without being informed that they were closing soon. This lack of communication left us disappointed and feeling like we didn't get our money's worth. To make matters worse, we were only able to grab one plate of food before realizing that everything had been put away when we tried to get seconds. It felt like a missed opportunity to fully enjoy the brunch experience we had hoped for, leaving us feeling shortchanged. While The Grill at Grace Bay Club offers good food and decent service, the lack of communication and limited time for the unlimited brunch option significantly impacted our overall experience. It's important to note these aspects before making a reservation, particularly for brunch.
Jose C — Google review
I’ve had many lunch dates at The Grill at Grace Bay Club, and the consistent takeaway from those experiences has unfortunately been the lack of attentive service. While I’ve dined at several other Grace Bay restaurants, this particular venue stands out as needing the most improvement in that regard. There were multiple occasions where servers were largely absent, failed to follow through on requests, or simply didn’t bring basic necessities to the table—even after several reminders. Something as simple as soy sauce for sushi was somehow overlooked. I’ve sat waiting 20–30 minutes on days when the restaurant was nearly empty, with several staff visible on the floor but seemingly more engaged in socializing than guest service. It’s difficult to believe this kind of service exists at one of the island’s premier locations—but I’ve seen it firsthand. The setting itself is undeniably beautiful, but the service experience doesn’t match. At times, I’ve even found myself preferring the service at the Ritz—despite the fact that the Ritz-Carlton in Turks lacks the vibrancy and warmth I’m accustomed to; it’s quite sterile, by comparison. On a positive note, the restaurant manager I encountered during a few visits was absolutely exceptional. I believe he’s Bajan and has an impressive background. However, I couldn't help but feel there was a lack of support from the team—possibly even intentional resistance, perhaps due to him being an outsider. As someone who has worked at some of the world’s top establishments—and as one of the few Caribbean-born Guest Relations Managers in New York City—I would be honored to offer my on-site guest services expertise to The Grill. I’d genuinely consider returning to Turks just to help elevate your service experience. If there’s interest, I’d love to know where I can send my résumé.

Amazing food and wonderful service. My waiter (Tavares) was so nice and recommended I get the jerk chicken. It was delicious!!! I also had conch salad as an appetizer, it was so fresh. Both are pretty spicy so just a fair warning. Views are beautiful! Would definitely recommend.
Stephanie V — Google review
This place was fantastic to eat at. We stayed at an Airbnb very close and walked to this restaurant for a late dinner/dessert. They quickly sat us with a beautiful view of the ocean. Our waiter Tavares was amazing. He was very personable, gave great recommendations, and info about the island with recommendation. Bread came out quickly, and was very warm and fresh. They kept our water in an ice bucket table side to keep it cold. Our pizza we ordered came out fast as well, and tasted great. The dough was fresh and cooked to perfection. We shared the pizza as it was enough for us two. We then got desserts since it was my birthday the next day and they brought them out well prepared. It said Happy Birthday on my plate and was comped for the occasion. A very nice gesture. Overall, this was a great experience. Pro tip: Infinite is the restaurant next door. You can hear the music from Infinite at The Grill, but pay less money for the food if you want to save. We thought The Grill was perfect with a great atmosphere and priced great!

I ate here twice during my 6 days in Turks!! That’s how much I loved their lunch. It’s expensive, but what isn’t on the island. There’s a stunning view of the ocean and the food was refreshing. No more fried stuff for me after a couple of days. The free bread and olive oil was perfect. Drinks were good! Doesn’t open until 12pm for lunch. Hideaway Grill and Chill is a great spot to get some Jamaican specialties like oxtail, chicken or pork jerk and snapper. They also have some delicious conch fritters to try. There's even outdoor seating right by the beach which makes it an ideal spot for a day out!
We had a couple of delicious homemade wraps and fried plantain at Hideaway. The ladies who run the food truck were so friendly and made us feel very welcomed. It was really one of the best meals we had on the trip!! Definitely put it on your list if you’re planning a visit.

One of the best meals we had on the island. The oxtail was tender, the sauce was so flavorful, the rice was perfect, and the plantains were perfect. Diane was very nice and this definitely was what we were looking for instead of the tourist places.

Absolutely incredible food and service! My boyfriend and I love jerk chicken and tried multiple places trying to find the best one on the island. Once we tried Hideaways we had to go back again and again. It was the best jerk chicken we’ve ever had and the oxtail was delicious as well. You can tell Diane makes all her food with love and serves amazing food everyday. When we come back to Turks and Caicos this will be our first stop! I couldn’t recommend this place enough as the service and food is impeccable.

There’s not a better place to eat on the island. Had a BEC on a croissant w/ Diane’s homemade hot sauce & OJ. Came for lunch later in the day to have the jerked chicken, rice & peas, w/ the slaw. This was my favorite place to eat my entire trip. Something delicious, economic, and food made w/ lots of care as it tasted as such. Thank you Miss Diane’s for your hospitality and delicious food. We will be back to try the lobster and turkey BLT!

Honestly some of the best food we’ve had so far. If you are looking for true island food and vibe this is the place. The jerk chicken was better than any meal I had despite the fact that we are staying at a 5 star resort. Beaches
Bonefish Point Beach is a hidden gem that requires some off-road driving to reach. It offers an untouched coastline with a combination of sandy beaches and rocky shores. Although the road can be rough, even small rental cars like the Honda Fit can easily navigate it. Due to its secluded nature, visitors can drive close to the beach without any issues. However, it is advisable to bring bug spray if visiting around sunset.
It's a beautiful place. Can hike left to the end of that hill/rock, there's a huge osprey nest on the second inaccessible rock, saw some of the famous pirates carvings in the rock (from the 1800s). On the right there are deserted beaches, possibly the whitest sand and clearest water of Providenciales. Didn't see any starfish despite walking all the way to Starfish Beach. There are ATVs from time to time and we did see a few people who drove all the way here. We drove here in a small sedan without issues, but I only recommend doing that if you have experience driving on rocks and estimating your own clearance and are a very agile driver. Coming here from the main road suggested by Google Maps, there are three scary rocky hills, but it gets better after. When I say scary, I mean you have to make sure you drive with your wheels on top of the smoother rocks to make sure the bottom of the car will be clear. Honestly it would have been much better in a Jeep, could have almost just driven in a straight line. We came back through a road that follows the Chalksound park (you don't get to see a lot of it). Towards the end you encounter a quarry, DO NOT follow google maps at that point unless you have a Jeep or something similar. Best to go right on the wider road. We started following google maps including on a narrow road that was bad (overgrown grass hitting the bottom of the car) up to a point where there the road was blocked. There was a side road at the top of the hill and we took that until we hit an area with some construction, an unpaved back road, and finally the main road, but we were worried we'd have to go all the way back to the quarry at that point. So overall, I do NOT recommend doing all this in a car, but it's feasible and without any sign of damage.
Lux E — Google review
The path here is definitely rocky, bumpy and time consuming. We took our tiny eco friendly car rental that had very little ground clearance. If you go slow and avoid large bumps and sharp or jagged rocks coming out of the ground, it is doable. Once you get to the “dirt” road, google estimated that we had 25 mins left, but it took us 45 mins. We were overly cautious as if we popped our tire or damaged the car, that would have been worse and waiting for a tow truck would have taken even longer. If going down this road during rain or wet conditions, then yes definitely take a car with 4x4 wheel drive / thicker tires. The beach is also more buggy here as it is more secluded and “swampy” towards the in lands areas.Once you park your car at the end of the road, walk all the way out following the coast to the point, you will get to a beautiful point where very few or no one will be at. We were the only ones here for 2 hours till a small private boat Tour showed up, they stayed for about 20 mins and left. Taylor beach was nicer in the aspect of no bugs, but the water here was amazing and we were the only ones. A few jet skis and fishing boats drove by as they where going to other parts of the island. If you have the time this was a whole day event for us. Bring your water snacks and enjoy the water. Some people did just come to take photos with the boat and leave. Split rock is also not far from this location, some people went there. If flying drone, airport nearby .

We wanted to go here so bad, but couldn't in our little rental vehicle. We tried, but had to turn around.
Joshua W — Google review
If you have a Jeep you absolutely have to go out here!!! We went to all the hard to get to beaches and this one was the best! Totally secluded and the beach goes on forever!!!
Bryan H — Google review
A must see for those who like serenity and have a decent four wheel drove at their disposal. Beware of mosquitoes - of it rains decently in a few days prior to your visit, there will be probably tons - and I mean tons - of them there. It doesnt matter on the tip of the island itself where its almost always breezy enough for insects not to be around, but it might hurt quite a lot if you want to explore the beach and the adjacent bushes.
Petr Z — Google review
We did not make it down the path. If you want to keep your marriage/relationship in tact, I recommend only going if you have 4 wheel drive, and/or a spare tire, and a jack (check for both). There are parts of the drive where you can lose your oil pan if you take the wrong path. We helped out some people who got a flat tire out there in the middle of the trek, and their rental company couldn't figure out where they were. There are plenty of other beaches off of paved roads.
Lisa L — Google review
The road getting here, while bumpy, can still easily be trekked by the tiny rental cars. Our Honda Fit had no issues. Since virtually no one will be there you can drive almost right up to the beach. Just bring some bug spray if you plan to be there anytime around sunset.

Airport
Providenciales International Airport (PLS) serves as the main gateway to the stunning Turks and Caicos Islands, particularly the luxurious Providenciales. Also known as Provo, this island boasts pristine white sands, clear blue waters, and a vibrant local culture that make it an ideal destination for a lavish getaway. The airport provides access to various transportation options such as taxis, rental cars, or connecting flights to other destinations within the archipelago.
Great airport. Has incredibly improved. When landing you de-plane from either the front or back of the plane right on to the tarmac. Then you walk through a nice new covered wall way to T & C customs. Customs is much improved and efficient with lots of agents working.
Simon G — Google review
Super busy on Thursday. A lot of the kiosks were not working. However, the staff were friendly and effective. The washrooms were clean and the announcements clear over the loudspeakers. Check the lines for international security. There are two lines, one left, one right. The left line had 2 x ray machines and moved faster than the right side . We still got through,it just took longer. The free wifi is present and a bit slow.
Robert G — Google review
Nothing state of the art at the airport, however, it functions efficiently. It’s a tiny airport with daily flights from all over the world. 1) The check can be tedious and time-consuming, as it is a small airport. 2) The waiting area is tiny and will be crammed. Don’t go expecting room to sit. You might have to stand and wait. 3)There are really only about 3 gates. 4) There’s a lounge upstairs. 5) The duty free shop carries an extensive collection of local and foreign beverages and items. 6) There are also inter-island flights to the other habitable islands like North Caicos and Grand Turk. This airport is a tiny engine but it does the job. The workers are pleasant and friendly. The customs officers are fierce but funny. Overall experience here, painless. P.S. Make sure to have a designated driver or hotel jitney pickup, as hailing a cab on this tiny island from the airport can cost you upwards of $100. ROBBERY!
JAY B — Google review
I echo what most reviewers have to say. This airport is small but mighty. The load/unload areas are small and feverish yet efficient. Arriving through customs was easy and going through security on departure was smooth too. Even with getting randomly pulled to watch our suitcase get additional screening (it was the Eagles luggage tag….) the process was easy and smooth. I’d second that if you don’t get upstairs quick enough, it fills up! Also semi annoying with two young kids, two strollers and four bags not having an elevator was a bit tough. Coolest part of the experience for the kids was unloading/loading out on the tarmac and then waiting for departure and sitting outside watching our plane land and taxi up to the “gate”. Random gift shops food/drink prices didn’t seem outrageous to me like some suggest. Had a spirited conversation outside the airport awaiting to check in with United of someone who was asking to see our passports. He looked very sus and I asked to see credentials. He laughed it off and did check out. Hope to make my way back here sooner than later!
Michael L — Google review
Very small airport with limited shops and limited seating. Security is very relaxed and lineups on a Saturday were quick. I had my boarding passes on my phone and I was told airport staff they do not accept digital boarding passes so I had to go to the kiosk to print them out. My flight was leaving at 1:30pm and I arrived at noon. I was through security in 5 min. Almost wished I had arrived much later as I had an hour to kill prior to boarding. This airport is much better than the Aruba airport that is so chaotic. This island is incredible! I only removed stars because I had nowhere to sit while waiting for my flight as crowds exceeded available seating .
Kathy S — Google review
it's a small airport and it's expected that is not going to be as stellar as bigger hub airports. Overall a very efficient airport, great staff, sticks to the basics and does the basics well
Rajkiran N — Google review
It’s a small airport, and you can definitely tell once you’re inside. There’s not a lot of seating, so you better hope your flight doesn’t get delayed because space fills up fast. There also aren’t many food or shopping options, so grab a bite before you get there if you can. The check-in line can get long, especially during busy travel times, but overall the process moves along. I’ve never had any issues with security, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. All in all, it’s a small island airport simple and functional, but don’t expect much in terms of comfort or amenities.
Rachel F — Google review
Its small and people talk bad about it but I don't agree. Everything ran smoothly and this was over Spring Break too. Even the bathroom was well maintained. Only thing different is how you board and deboard the plane. Have to use the stairs.

The staff is known for being friendly and helpful, and the store itself is clean and well-lit. While it's a convenient spot to pick up everything from food to medicine, some visitors find that prices are higher than what they're used to, possibly due to import costs.
I loved the prepackaged deli they had. My husband and I came here every day of our trip for meals to bring back to our Airbnb. They had fried fish, jerk chicken, baked chicken, meatballs, vegetables, and rice along. I'm sure there were more items, but this is what we got. Prices for the deli were reasonable compared to going to a restaurant for every meal. Prices on most other groceries were pretty expensive, but that's Turks & Caicos.

We had a great experience at IGA. The staff were very friendly — they welcomed us at the entrance and were always ready to help us find anything we needed. They have a deli where you can get hot sandwiches for $8, and they cook them fresh in front of you with the ingredients you choose — very delicious! They also make pizzas where you can pick your own toppings. We made our own Hawaiian pizza, and it was amazing! We also found some special offers that we really liked. A great store with excellent service and fresh food!

One stop shop!! yes it’s pricey but Turks and Caicos is expensive PERIOD! As a Mexican I couldn’t find authentic tortillas de Maiz or de Harina, they have a different type of tortillas which I won’t dare eating them with quesadillas or carne asada so bring your own tortillas to Turks. Took some pics of the items you can find here and some prices. hope this helps someone, I tried doing price research for certain things before coming here and didn’t really have luck but next time I’ll be way more prepared . These prices are US dollars as of August 4, 2023. 😊😊

Expensive compared to US!!!! Good selection. Hot food. Had pharmaceuticals. Good juice selections.

Great supermarket. Has pretty much everything you would need. Pricing is to be expected. Ample parking space and fast checkout. It is also fairly close to many resorts and right off the highway.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! My husband went to their store the next morning after we had shopped there the previous evening. They charged me for an extra bottle of water, scanned an item twice, and charged me for something that states “E Meat”. Yes the total was only $12.95, but the fact is your worker overcharged and over scanned items. He went there to speak to a manager who literally said “ I believe you, but there’s no proof. The person who checks cameras are not in today.” So okay, when will they be in? She goes and proceeds to say she doesn’t know. You don’t know when your worker, who checks security cameras for the safety of the store will be in? … so again CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! With how much I spent there… they shouldn’t have to question $12.95. I literally almost spent $300 there! Go somewhere else!

Wish we had come here first for groceries. They have everything you might need. Everything is very fresh, great produce, large meat selection(especially beef). A lot of tourist shop here. Notes: they accept card.

Good island spot.. if they don’t have it, you don’t need it. Expensive, but probably the best prices on the island. Went on a Sunday morning and it wasn’t too crowded. Staff was helpful.

Graceway Gourmet is a high-end grocery store located in the Grace Bay Area, within walking distance of several hotels and resorts. It offers a wide range of high-quality food items, including vegan options like tempeh and vegan desserts. While some locally made products may not meet everyone's taste preferences, the store is known for its excellent meat selection, offering items such as beef tenderloin, pork, burgers, chicken thighs and breasts.
Beautiful grocery store that offers everything we need when traveling. They have so many good options, a fabulous deli with fresh food and salad bar daily. The alcohol and mixers has everything you need!!
Candace L — Google review
This is a nice, clean, well organized grocery store that has a lot of options. They have a nice deli with a lot of options. There is also a section where you can have them make subs for you but just be aware they are really slow and don't always read what you requested. Somehow I was given 4 subs when I only asked for 3, and she only got the toppings right on 2 of the subs. The store is very expensive but those are island prices for you.
Kemi L — Google review
It’s near to our hotel about 16 minutes walk, but only 5 minutes by car. In this heat and humidity, walking is an eternity. However, walking to the grocery is also a good way to discover what’s around us. You’ll find more stuff than you would at your hotel’s convenience store definitely and at half the prices. Ok prices are still very high but that’s really expected of island economies where most things are imported. Checkout was easy you can pay with a credit card. Paper bags will set you back 10 cents so don’t forget to bring your own shopping bag. The security guard can help you find a taxi. In our case it was $12 for 2 people for a 5-minute ride. I wonder if he would take one person for $6 because the next time, I’m sending my husband alone to do some shopping. lol
M B — Google review
Everyone should be aware that prices are a bit up there, reminds me of when we visited Hawaii. Since everything is imported, prices of goods in the store are higher than usual. This is not to complain just making people aware.
Brandon M — Google review
Extremely well maintained grocery store in the Leeward settlement. Everything here from the parking lot to the shelves are maintained and looked after. The lighting of the parking lot is itself better than the lighting of many superstore interiors People note the prices but then again this is an isolated island where everything must be shipped in
Rajkiran N — Google review
It's not cheap, but the island is generally expensive, so it looks the best in the area.

Honestly, Graceway IGA is way better but more importantly, there are some ridiculously rude people that work here. I genuinely don't understand how you can be nothing but polite to someone and they treat you like scum. I said good afternoon and asked kindly for some pastries and got the rudest human I've encountered in a while. I wasn't difficult. I didn't ask which pasties are good or what's in them or any questions. Just asked for a few different pastries. I still said thank you and she gave me the items without looking at me while walking away. If you hate your job that much, do something else. Never coming back. Plenty of better grocery stores near by.

Embark on a memorable adventure aboard the Lady Grace Catamaran, a 65-foot vessel that offers sunset sails and the chance to spot JoJo the Dolphin, one of the most famous mammals in Turks and Caicos. Guests have praised the exceptional service provided by Captain Tim and his crew, who ensure a top-notch experience with great food and premium drinks. The crew's friendly and engaging demeanor adds to the upscale snorkeling and exploration experience.
Beautiful ship, awesome crew and a fantastic snorkeling experience! The crew kept us informed and explained all safety items before leaving. There were three crew in the water while we were snorkeling and guiding the group. There were probably 40-45 people on board it never felt crowded. After snorkeling for an hour, we had drinks and snacks (fresh fruit, cookies) before sailing back. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon! Highly recommend!
W N — Google review
We did a sunset cruise. It was great! As you board there is champagne. There is a complimentary full bar and hors d'oeuvres. It was a very relaxing cruise with great views of the islands. The only thing I would have liked better is a different selection of music.....it was a lot of very modern pop music. I would have preferred more Caribbean style with reggae, Bob Marley, etc. Overall this is an activity I would recommend.
William C — Google review
I absolutely loved my experience with Lady Grace in Turks! From the moment I boarded, everything felt thoughtful and elevated—complimentary champagne, super attentive staff, and a smooth, safe ride all the way through. The food was genuinely good, the vibe was relaxed but fun, and the other passengers were friendly—it was an easy space to enjoy as a solo traveler without feeling out of place. It’s also an incredible value for the price. I’d do this again every time I visit the islands—honestly, maybe even more than once on the same trip! If you’re considering it, you won’t regret it.

My recent snorkeling trip aboard Lady Grace's Yacht was nothing short of spectacular, truly a five-star experience from start to finish! From the moment we stepped on board, it was clear this yacht is brand new and meticulously maintained, barely three months old – you can really feel the freshness and quality. The crew was absolutely amazing and incredibly well-trained. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they are US Coast Guard certified and 100% equipped for anything that might come their way. Their professionalism was evident in every interaction. What truly impressed me was their punctuality. We departed exactly as the itinerary mentioned, making for a smooth and stress-free start. They also ensured we had a full hour of snorkeling at each destination, which allowed ample time to explore the underwater beauty without feeling rushed. Beyond the incredible snorkeling, the onboard experience was fantastic. We were served delicious meals, and it was a real treat to have a full bar available. What really stood out was their thoughtful approach to group size. Even though it was a group tour, they capped the number of guests, which meant there was plenty of space to sit, move around, and genuinely relax without feeling packed in like sardines. It made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and personal. Little details made a big difference too – they offered fresh beach towels, and the restroom was amazingly clean and sanitary, which is always a huge plus on a boat trip! A special shout-out to Captain Tim and his entire team. They did a phenomenal job, not only with the smooth sailing but also by chatting with everyone, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Their dedication to ensuring everyone had a great time truly shone through. If you're looking for an exceptional snorkeling excursion with top-notch service, a beautiful new yacht, and a crew that goes above and beyond, look no further than Lady Grace's Yacht. I can't recommend it enough!

The Deluxe Sunset & Saxophone Sail was everything and more. We all enjoyed ourself entirely. It’s a must do if you visit the Turks and Caicos Islands. They were punctual, food was great, the view for pictures was phenomenal and the saxophonist was amazing! It’s a five star for us. We were a group of six, was an excellent cruise overall.

Hands down my favorite thing we did while in Grace Bay! The appetizers, the new catamaran, the music, the boat wasn’t over crowded and the concierge, Lickson, put it over the edge. He was so down to earth, friendly and all around such a fun guy. I will only go again as long as Lickson is a crew member 🥲🫶 Do NOT miss going out with Lady Grace will in Provo.

This was the best experience we had on our trip to Turks and Caicos. From the boat, to the crew, to the food, to the snorkeling to the Iguana Island stop, it was incredible. Our crew; Tareek, Lilly, Lickson, and Kamal, went over and above to make it a great trip. They were fun, knowledge and hospitable. If you do anything while in TCI, this is the thing to add to your itinerary.

Island Adventure TCI offers a variety of exciting tours, including clear kayak tours of Mangrove Cay and secluded islands with iguanas. The tours are led by knowledgeable guides who provide education about the local wildlife and landmarks while keeping the atmosphere light with their humor. The clear bottomed kayaks make it easy to observe marine life in the crystal-clear waters of Turks and Caicos. Additionally, the company's ATV tours are also highly recommended for those seeking adventure on the island.
A dream come true! Our guide, Bensley was knowledgeable and entertaining. He asked what we most wanted to see and I said turtles. We saw a lemon shark, conch and at least a dozen sea turtles, two different species. Our family loved the kayaks and Iguana Island. If I get the chance, I'd take this same tour! FANTASTIC! Thank you!

We loved the ATV tour with Mikey & Tony to bonefish point! Just gorgeous, lots of time riding on the ATVs and great views we wouldn’t have even known to go and see! Would definitely book through island adventure again and try the clear kayaking next!

A must do tour, absolutely beautiful area of Turks and Caicos to see while kayaking in clear bottom kayaks. We saw a baby shark and multiple sea turtles in the mangroves. Our guide was great, as he taught us about conchs, jelly fish and mangroves. Worth every dollar spent!!

Had such a great experience on the clear kayak tour with our tour guide, Smith. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw so many turtles we lost count. It was so beautiful and honestly very easy kayaking, anyone would enjoy it, first timers or experienced. Thanks for the great time! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent time experiencing the wildlife on this tour. It started with the zodiak pulling us across the channel to igwana island to see a host of creatures. We then we're again pulled to the entrance of the mangroves and started paddling on our own following our guide, Mikey. He pointed out many creatures including jelly fish, baby reef sharks, barracuda, and lots of turtles. After a nice tour in the mangroves we cooled off in the water and then we were towed back to land. I highly recommend this tour and hope you also get Mikey as your guide.

Hendi is a very knowledgeable, fun, and caring guide. He made sure we had what we needed to start and during the tour. He assessed our abilities and lead the tour based on our ATV skills with safety always in mind. 2hr, 2 adults ATV tour. The two stops we made were incredibly beautiful and a pleasant surprise to us. It is hot, sunny, and very dusty so if you aren’t used to off roading, be prepared to be sweaty and dirty and plan to head back to your hotel for a shower after, before heading to your next activity. This was our 2nd year going out with Grace Bay Adventures! Once again they showed us an amazing time! The captain, TJ and his First Mate who goes by LUNCHBOX were amazing!!! We highly recommend that you request both of them when you take their tour. They knew where the Conchs, dolphins, sea turtles, and Starfish were located. Our kids had the times of their lives and the food we had for lunch was wonderful!!

We had an amazing sunset tour with Grace Bay Adventures. From the very beginning, Lisa was so accommodating and helpful that we knew we had made the right choice. Our boat was captained by Cheese and Choppa, and they were honestly two of the nicest people we met on the island. They were friendly, fun, informative and created the best atmosphere on board. The boat was well equipped with snorkels, life vests, snacks and drinks, which made the whole experience even better. It was nothing but good vibes from start to finish. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Grace Bay Adventures to anyone visiting Turks and Caicos.

The best boat charter my family and I have ever been on. From the ocean views, diving for lobster and conch, tubing, SWIMMING WITH DOLPHINS, and eating yummy food on the beach. The captain Chap was amazing, cooked the catches really well and took care of all of us in the best and safest way. Our tour guide Cheese was probably the most knowledgeable tour guide we’ve ever had. He knew everything about everything. The island, the fish, the waves, the colors, the dolphins. It was amazing. He knew how to interact with the dolphins and literally give us a show while we were in the water with them. They both were super kind. I can’t wait to come back next year and request them and book again with the same company! Thank you.

We had the absolute best time on our half-day boat tour with Cheese and Chappa! From the moment we stepped on board, they made us feel so welcome. Both were incredibly kind, warm, and especially wonderful with my 7-year-old son, making the day even more memorable for our family. They shared so much about the island and its history, which made the trip not only fun but also really interesting. The snorkeling was amazing—we swam with turtles, searched for conch, relaxed on a private beach/sandbar, and even explored a reef where we spotted a Caribbean reef shark! Every stop was unique and beautiful, and Cheese and Chappa made sure everything felt relaxed, safe, and fun. This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip, and we can’t recommend Grace Bay Adventures enough.

With friendly and reassuring tour guides, even first-time parasailers can feel secure as they soar through the sky. Additionally, guests may be treated to sightings of marine life such as dolphins, adding an extra touch of magic to the already fantastic journey.
We booked a 4 hour charter on the Island Queen and it was such a great experience. The staff was so accommodating and we were able to pick our own adventures. We stopped at iguana island, snorkeled the shipwreck and even swam with Dolphins. I highly recommend this.

We booked a 1 hour parasailing trip at $85 per person for 2 of us (170 total) We literally spent 10 minutes in the air after more than 30 minutes of picking up other people. Was extremely frustrating. We did enjoy our 10 min in the air but it was very misleading to say you have an hour. We were on the boat over an hour with all the other pick ups! Was definitely not qorth the money. Would use a different company next time. They also weren't very friendly.

This was the best part of our trip. It was well worth the money. Our group of 15 thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the boat trip. We had five kids under the age of seven, and they had a great time. The snacks and drinks were well thought out and delicious. We 100% recommend this company.

We were laying on the beach in Grace Bay and a boat pulls up to let some parasailers out. I ran over to the boat and asked how much it was. $85 per person didn’t seem like that much at all we were literally on a boat ride For over an hour and a half we had such a great time with all the other parasailers. The staff on the boat was great. And I wouldn’t give up that memory for anything. An added bonus was that we got to see dolphins swimming. The water was crystal clear and the views were phenomenal. I can’t even tell you how excited I was to look down and see all that clear bathwater it brought just a big smile to my face. They even dropped us back off right where they picked us up and we went back to tanning. This is definitely a memorable experience and a must do if you’re in the Turks and Caicos grace Bay area.

Every one was polite and friendly. I got to go up 500 feet up! Love the experience was not frightening at all. We got to see the beautiful sceneries of the island I feel like we were up for a good amount of time. Our date did get moved unfortunately due to the boat having some issues so we then got rescheduled to another boat and another crew. We went on caption Marvin’s yellow boat which he had a pleasant crew. Everything was a smooth ride from the beginning to end. My family and I loved the experience will do again if I have another chance to.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Grace Bay Watersports. Their boat had broke down so they ran behind over an hour. I understand these things happen however, they made us feel extremely rushed in our experience. Safety is certainly not their 1st priority. There was a lady on the boat whose life jacket didn’t even come close to fitting her only to tell her she’s fine. My son’s life jacket was borderline for sure. I felt extremely rushed making our time not as enjoyable as we had certainly hoped for. I can only presume due to them trying to stay on schedule as they had to pick up their next boat load of passengers less than 1/2 after picking us up. I definitely wouldn’t use them again. I am not one to write negative reviews but, I didn’t want the same to happen to someone else.

Turks Ventures By Drex offers a variety of boat tours and charters to explore the stunning sites of Turks and Caicos. Each local excursion company provides different activities, vessels, and tour atmospheres. Visitors can book private charters for a half-day adventure with experienced captains and well-stocked catamarans. The tours include activities like snorkeling, visiting Iguana Island, walking on sandbars, and exploring mangroves in clear kayaks.
We booked the half day private charter. I found this charter happened to be a bit cheaper than some of the others but it was well worth the gamble. Captain “Prime Time” and first mate“Sleepy Joe” were great! They went over and above to ensure that we had a good time. The catamaran was clean and well stocked with drinks and snacks. The kids jumped off the grounded barge, we walked on a sandbar, stopped at Iguana Island, and snorkeled. Our only complaint is with the snorkeling. The water was much too rough. My daughter and son are experienced snorkelers and decent swimmers, and they were literally gasping for air due to the rough and choppy waters. Safety has to come first. Despite the bad snorkeling, everything else about the private charter was enjoyable!

This is our second year booking with Turks Ventures, and spending part of our day with Captain Prime Time and Joe. We had an amazing time both years. The views were beautiful, Iguana Island was a big hit with the kids, and we were able to stop at a breathtaking sand bar and even see a dolphin. The trip was easy to book and reschedule when we needed to. It was a highlight of our trip two years in a row. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful time with Captain Jean and First Mate Joe! Saw several areas of Turks and Caicos not readily accessible by car and learned interesting facts. The private tour element ensured a bespoke experience that was well worth the money. Highly recommend!

Our group of 6 had a great half day on the boat! Ocean was a bit rough, but captain and first mate found a more sheltered place to snorkel. I appreciated their focus on safety, making everyone use a flotation device while snorkeling. We stopped at a beautiful sandbar with lots of cool shells and spent a little time on iguana island. They served yummy snacks, beers and rum punch. Only drawback was difficulty finding the boat. Better directions once we entered the marina or having someone to meet us near the parking lot would have been great.

We went on a 2 hour clear kayak tour with our guide "Cheese". He was very personable and passionate about the mangroves. He did an excellent job explaining about the local tides and working with the tides to paddle to the mangroves. He really went above and beyond explaining the history of the mangroves as well as local ecological issues that affected the mangroves. We saw lots of turtles (so many turtles!), fish and a manta ray. The water was shallow and crystal clear! Cheese even offered to take pictures/video with my phone in addition to the photos I was able to capture. This experience was awesome and I'd definitely recommend and do again! It was recommended for us to go early in the morning since it'd be a bit cooler which I also recommend.

We did the 2 hour clear kayak tour of mangrove Cay and it was fantastic. One of our favorite excursions across many years of travel. A short paddle across a channel (~200 yards) then we started into the mangroves. We saw small sharks and an incredible number of medium sized sea turtles. 100+ animals...they were everywhere! Couldn't recommend this trip any more highly while on Provo! Do bring bugspray and plenty of sunscreen.

Babalua Beach, also known as Blue Mountain Beach, is a secluded and often overlooked gem located between Thomsons Cove and Turtle Cove. It offers ideal conditions for swimming and snorkeling with its calm waters and abundance of marine life. Access to the beach is limited, but visitors can find a small parking area off a narrow path near what appears to be a gated driveway.
Very secluded beach at the end of Cherokee Rd. There is enough parking just at the end of the road for a few cars. As mentioned in other reviews, there are plenty of conch shells, but the fun is trying to find one that is whole.

Great beach, plenty of turtles to see. The wind can be an issue, but other than that it is a lovely little spot to spend half a day.

Beautiful, calm, quiet beach near Smith's Reef. As others said, it's a little hard to find since you'll drive down a small road up to what looks like a gated driveway. But, just off to the left, just before you get to the padlocked gate, there's a very tiny road leading to a space just big enough to park a handful of cars.

Amazing snorkeling/swimming beach away from the crowds. I would recommend this beach 100%. There are a time of conch shells to find/collect. Honestly, the lack of people is a sure plus here!!!

Limited parking but great quiet spot for finding shells & snorkeling. Some construction happening right now (August 2023) so hope the beach remains as accessible once the building is complete. Was a very short, easy walk from parking to the water.

Marina
Turtle Cove Marina is a picturesque spot with well-maintained docks, a private boat ramp, and trailer parking. It offers car and scooter rentals as well as access to Smiths Reef for snorkeling among turtles, fishes, conches, and crabs. The marina hosts water-view restaurants and serves as a base for fishing charters targeting various species like red snapper and Nassau grouper. Additionally, it's home to operators such as Dive Provo and features beautiful private boats.
One of the most enjoyable experiences we've had! Joseph and Charlie were incredible host even though we were anchored out in Turtle Cove and not the Marina. We paid our $30 dinghy fee which we feel is more than fair for the amenities and hospitality we received! Thank you my friends 🧡

Beautiful place with water view restaurants. Well mantained doks, private boat ramp, trailor parking. Marina offers car and scooter rentals, hotels and villas. Access to the Smiths Reef to enjoy snorkeling with company of sea creatures such as turtles and fishes, conches and crabs.
Cristina V — Google review
Quaint place with a boat launch, fueling and other boat services. The main attractions are the restaurants
Charles C — Google review
Easily accessed excursions from this location. Lots of free parking.
Dave M — Google review
Lots of construction after Hurricane Irma. Fixed wooden docks. Lots of tour boat activity in and out of small cove, some loud music but quiet at night. Only one shower, but it is nice. A few restaurants, beach and Smith's Reef within walking distance, but otherwise you'll need to rent a car. Staff were helpful
Suzanne H — Google review
Nice marina, clean and well kept. Mango Cafe is here as well. Several operators work out of here including Dive Provo. Just a tourist visiting so no clue about their services or fees. Some very nice private boats in the mix too.

If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure in Providenciales, look no further than Sun and Fun Sea Sports. Their Shipwreck Adventure tour is a must-do, offering a unique glimpse into the stunning Caribbean waters and the beautiful landscapes of Long Bay Beach, where you'll find impressive private villas. With knowledgeable guides like Prince leading the way, you can expect not only breathtaking views but also plenty of opportunities to capture those perfect vacation photos.
Such a unique experience!! If you have the opportunity to do the Shipwreck Adventure tour, do not pass it up! Not only did we have a great tour guide who took pictures and videos of us at the shipwreck, but we got to see a super cool side of Providenciales. Our guide took us along Long Bay Beach, which is where a lot of MASSIVE, private houses are. We also got to experience the super blue, calm water that everyone goes to the Caribbean to experience. It’s honestly a mesmerizing experience that you have to see for yourself!
Matt C — Google review
A great company that will give you a great tour of whatever you want to see on the island. We had the pleasure of getting a tour from Prince of the shipwreck, Noah’s ark and iguana island. Will definitely recommend anyone to Sun and Fun sea sports for a jet ski rental!
Rahul K — Google review
The best tour I have ever done-well worth the money! I did the Land & Sea tour which included the private islands and the ship. It was fun and breathtaking at the same time! Forget about Grace Bay beach- you will see the real beauty and best beaches on this tour! The guide Prince was very polite, took a lots of great pictures and videos and they also picked me up & dropped me off at my hotel free of charge. Highly recommended!!
L F — Google review
Super easy process. Booked online the day before and met up with our guide at the scheduled time. We were able to see the famille express and ride our jet skis on the side of Long Beach. Great experience overall!
Yaidyt H — Google review
Highly recommend! Great tour guide! And top-notch sea doo jet skis!!
Danny V — Google review
Was just on our second Sun and Fun boat tour with our guide Prince - an great way to spend a few hours exploring Providenciales and a few neighbouring islands. Bring a small cooler and snacks, towels, and wear bathing suits for an occasional dip. Have your camera ready for the incredible scenery.
Mike L — Google review
Did not confirm the meet up location until the day of the kayak tour. I had to message them just to get it after booking almost a month in advance and emailing them multiple times. The manager referred a taxi as they do not do pick ups. We arrived on time and the guide said no one gave him the correct amount of people so we could not go. Left us stranded on the beach.
Arrrimaninja — Google review
Prince is a good tour guide he took us to the shipwreck with no problems and we went to a isolated beach which was relaxing and beautiful and the jet ski doesn’t flip over easily compared to other jet ski

Stubbs Diamond Plaza is the place to be on Thursday evenings for the island fish fry. This community event offers live music, delicious food, and a variety of souvenirs from local shops. While parking nearby may cost $15, it's recommended to explore other potentially cheaper or free options. Visitors can enjoy great drinks and food while taking in the lively atmosphere and browsing through vendors. Although some wished for more vendors, overall it's a fun experience that shouldn't be missed.
Fun fish fry on Thursday. Highly recommend. Don’t miss the table for the Middle school fund raiser.

Located near the inner reef area, Great Snorkeling offers a variety of experiences for snorkelers. The sandy path off Lower Bight Road provides easy access to vibrant smaller corals and beautiful rocks. For those seeking more sea life and amazing snorkeling, Smith's Reef is just around the point to the left, although rocky at the shore. Good water shoes are recommended for this spot.
Can confirm, there are some awesome coral beds with many different fish🐠. Some of the pics don't do this easy snorkel spot justice. Near VRBO and airBnB rentals. Not much shade so pray for cloud cover, bring lots of water and some type of umbrella or canopy to protect from the sun🌞👍🏾🤙🏾

We went in a bit to the left of this pin and got to see beautiful coral and fish. Had better luck here than Smiths reef
Emily J — Google review
Awesome snorkeling no guide required. There was coral with tons of beautiful fish. Shallow enough I felt safe letting our kids swim around with their snorkels. No crowds.

Nestled near Leeward Cut, Leeward Reef is a stunning gem on the northern barrier reef of Providenciales in Turks and Caicos. This vibrant snorkeling destination is easily accessible by boat, often bustling with numerous vessels eager to explore its underwater wonders.
Part of the world's 3rd largest coral reef according to the locals. The water is warm, with mimnal waves and not too deep (10 to 30 ft) which makes it ideal for snorkling. Lots of colourful fish and coral.
Kurt M — Google review
Corals were all brown and looked like they were dying. 4 may be 5 different types of fishes. The reef as such is nothing great so lower your expectations if you go snorkeling. I guess all the 30 to 40 odd boats and catamarans that come there everyday has destroyed the ecosystem.

Thompson Cove Beach is a tranquil spot in Provo, nestled between Babalua Beach and Blue Hills. It offers a peaceful atmosphere with the likelihood of having the beach to yourself. While snorkeling is decent, swimmers are advised to wear shoes to avoid broken coral. The area is known for its seaweed presence, unlike Turtle Tail Beach which is more challenging to access due to its residential location.
When a shark attack happens, is it close to or far from the beach? Do attacks also occur in shallow waters? At what depth do attacks occur?
Daniel R — Google review
We walked from Thompson Cove Beach all the way along past Da Conch Shack and all the way up past the bird sanctuary. Very quite beach with lots of seabirds and easy to walk along. Not possible to swim as very shallow and lots of seagrass etc and lots of seaweed on beach. But definitely worth the walk as vety beautiful - although we did spot quite a lot of glass so beware! Saw lots of fish in shallow pools.

Best place we’ve eaten on the island. We showed up with 5 adults and 4 kids and had tender jerk chicken, plantains and rice, wraps and sandwiches for everyone and cold drinks. The owner was super nice and it was more reasonably priced than anywhere we’ve eaten. Definitely recommend!!!
