Hotel
Yog Niketan By Sanskriti - A Riverside Boutique Resort is a serene retreat nestled by the Ganges River in Rishikesh, at the foothills of the Himalayas. The tranquil environment and adherence to local traditions make it an ideal escape for those seeking peace and spiritual rejuvenation. Guests can immerse themselves in yoga, meditation, and Ayurvedic spa treatments while enjoying organic, vegan cuisine that promotes digestion and overall well-being.
I had a wonderful experience at Yoga Niketan. The front office team was extremely responsive, even before my arrival — they proactively reached out for confirmation and were available anytime for assistance on whatsapp. At the reception, Ms. Shikha Tomer was exceptionally polite, courteous, and helpful throughout my stay. Every staff member I met was warm, welcoming, and kind, making the entire experience truly pleasant. The location of the property is simply beautiful, set right on the banks of the Ganga, offering peaceful views and a calm atmosphere — perfect for relaxation and reflection. Overall, it was a stay filled with warmth, professionalism, and serenity. Highly recommended! 🌿

Location is good. Staff is polite and welcoming. Rooms are not value for money. Rooms rates are very expensive for the kind of service you would expect at that price point. House keeping and restaurants Staff is very good. They should consider offering the Rooms at lower rates.

A Magical Stay on the Banks of the Ganga – Simply Unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the serene beauty of this stunning hotel, perfectly perched on the banks of the sacred Ganga River in Rishikesh. The setting is nothing short of magical — peaceful, spiritual, and deeply calming. The welcome was heartfelt and genuine, with a small blessing ceremony that made the entire experience feel incredibly special. It was such a thoughtful touch that immediately made me feel at home. And just when I thought it couldn't get more charming, I received the cutest little gift upon departure — such a lovely gesture that truly left a lasting impression. The team here is beyond amazing: warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. Every interaction felt personal and caring. My room was spotless, cozy, and had a calming aura — perfect for unwinding. The food was exceptional, with a delightful variety of flavors that were both nourishing and delicious. This place is a true gem, and I would return in a heartbeat. If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and heartwarming experience in Rishikesh, look no further. This hotel is everything and more. 🙏🏼

Feedback on My Recent Stay at Yogniketan I recently had the pleasure of staying at Yogniketan and had a wonderful experience. The property is located right at the Ganga Ghat, which makes it incredibly convenient for guests to visit the river multiple times a day — it’s just about 10 meters away from the rooms. The view from the rooms is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms themselves are very clean and well-maintained. The food served was fresh and tasty. I would especially like to appreciate the manager who is present during the daytime — his warm smile and the way he greets guests truly add a personal touch to the stay. I was also delighted by the beautiful decoration they arranged for my birthday — it made my day extra special. Overall, the property is very well-kept and managed with care. Suggestions for Improvement: If possible, consider increasing the number of rooms, as the high demand makes it difficult for many guests to secure a booking. The pricing feels a bit on the higher side, especially considering that the hotel doesn’t offer many amenities. The restaurant could benefit from more seating space, as it currently cannot accommodate all guests comfortably during peak times. It would be helpful to have fans or coolers installed in the outdoor seating areas to enhance comfort during warmer weather. Adding a small play area for children with some toys and recreational activities would be a great addition for families. Clearer communication or reminders about the free yoga sessions and high tea timings would help guests take full advantage of these offerings. Thank you for a lovely stay, and I hope to visit again soon!

Hotel EllBee Ganga View is an upscale choice in Rishikesh, offering luxurious rooms with modern amenities and stunning views of Rajaji National Park. It's conveniently located just a short walk from the holy Ganges River. The hotel features a 24-hour front desk, free Wi-Fi in public areas, and a rooftop restaurant called The Sitting Elephant, which offers panoramic views of the hills and serves Indian, Continental, and Chinese cuisines.
It was awesome experience to stay in hotel EllBee ganga situated at the bank of holy river Ganga. The staff and team members are very humble and serves delicious food in breakfast lunch and dinner. Experience of Ganga Aarti from this hotel is next level and very convenient. Last but not least rooms are very neat and clean with all amenities. Thanks to all staff members of EllBee Ganga who made our stay memorable. Keep doing your best!! 😃👍

the location is quite good, if somewhat loud. the promenade along the Ganges is right across the street. triveni ghat can be reached by a few minutes walk. the nicest part of rishikesh however is up north, whereas the hotel is in the south. rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished. unfortunately they are not kept as well as one would wish. there were technical difficulties galore: TV could not be turned off, shower could not be turned off after first use and room locks you out once a day per default (we stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms; it happened 4 times). cleanliness leaves room for improvement. also the rooms were not cleaned every day. while I don't need a full clean, making the bed and replenishing the (slim to begin with) supply of toilet paper could be expected. also there is a rather inconsistent approach to sustainability that seems to be more of an excuse for cutting costs: they removed the fridge in the room, due to sustainability reasons, but it is completely fine that the cupboard interior light contact switch is disabled and therefore it is on 24/7. same with plastic packaging: no bottled water in the room, but individually packaged ketchup and even spices are fine.

Between September 11th and September 16th 2025, my fiancé and I stayed there. My rating for Room Service would be 10/10. Rakhi is a wonderful person who took great care of our room like it was her own. Your kindness is greatly appreciated, Rakhi.🤗 However, I would like to emphasize the quality of the food and the service they provide. there is one lady Pooja she is terrible and she doesnt even know her job. if I have 0 star I can give 0 star to her. There is a serious quality issue at this hotel, and you need to take this seriously. After eating their breakfast, I developed heavy diarrhea and got sick. It was only on our last day that my fiancé discovered a bug, and we realized it was caused by food that was fried in expired oil. I have not complained to the food inspector, but it is not safe for guests. Most of their guests were not hotel guests but they came only for breakfast. this means they are only getting this quality food.

EllBee Ganga View Aces in All- Hospitality, Amazing Staff and Incredible Food and Service. Stayed at the Hotel from 6th to 9th Oct and had one of the finest experiences in Rishikesh. Extremely well-trained and ever-helpful staff members, have the most amazing view of Ganga ji, walking distance from the best ghat in Rishikesh. The hotel that knows what it guests require and go out of the way to help you make it a memorable stay. Hot piping and tasty food was the icing on the cake during our stay. Special mention and Kudos to Karishma, Pooja and Ujwal!

Booked this hotel from MMT. Undoubtedly one of the best hotels i have stayed. The location is superb, walking distance to Triveni Ghat, with their own parking. Food and service was absolutely wonderful. Hi tea was complementary and they had so many options to choose from. We were even given complimentary front view bigger room. We had our toddler with us and they made sure we were provided with everything that we need for our return journey. We were given details of the Ganga Arti and we're guided by Mr Vijay who was so understanding and made sure we had best Arti experience. Ms Pooja from reception was very supportive and went extra way to make our stay blissful. We would like to thank Mr Vijay & Ms Pooja for your kindness. Now we know where to stay of we ever visit Rishikesh.

Sweet welcome and what a view from terrace! Great location and amazing service with exceptional support by staff Vijay and amazing hospitality by Ankita. Loved the timely support for aarti at triveni ghaat by Vijay and prompt help while our stay.
THAKUR A — Google review
It’s a 3-star property located about 4 km from the main tourist spot. The hotel rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is cooperative. However, the room tariff feels overpriced. The in-house restaurant menu is quite expensive — for example, a dosa costs ₹550 and a butter naan ₹210. It’s better to book only the room, as there’s a popular Rajasthani food outlet just 700 meters away offering authentic meals at reasonable prices.

Lemon Tree Premier, Rishikesh is a stunning premium resort located on the banks of the sacred Ganges river, boasting its own Ghat. The hotel offers breathtaking views of the River Ganges and the Himalayan foothills. With contemporary rooms, an outdoor pool, and a seated terrace, this airy venue provides a peaceful sanctuary amidst the bustling city.
I stayed at Lemon Tree Premier, Rishikesh, with my mother, who is a cancer patient on 31st May - 1st June 2025. This trip meant a lot to us—it was her wish to visit Rishikesh and I wanted her to have a peaceful, comfortable experience. Though I had booked a mountain view room, the hotel offered us a river view room instead. The view of the Ganges from our window was absolutely serene. But more than the view, it was the human experience that stood out. Mr. Raj (Manager) at the property went above and beyond in taking care of my mother. He didn’t just do his job—he showed genuine care. He ensured she was comfortable at all times, checking in regularly and handling everything with warmth and sensitivity. As a son, seeing my mother truly happy—smiling, relaxed and soaking in the moment—meant everything. After everything she’s been through, this trip gave her something she truly deserved: peace and joy. The hotel’s location right on the banks of the Ganges adds to its charm. But it’s the staff, especially Mr. Raj, who made this stay unforgettable. Please do not worry about the mixed reviews. Just drop in a mail to the property prior to your arrival and everything will be taken care of.
Mayank S — Google review
Good food and service. Location is something that is worth the price they charge. The view and the constant water sound of river flowing right by the hotel is exotic and soothing. We found the parking and going down the valley to reach the hotel difficult although they provide EV pick up and drop service. Also they don't have the rooms for drivers of you want your driver to stay with you in the same hotel which felt strange and inadequate given the charges and 5 star hotel category !
Vicky R — Google review
A beautiful property nestled right on the banks of the Ganga River, Lemon Tree Premier offers breathtaking views and lush greenery along its scenic, winding driveway. Conveniently located within walking distance of the main Tapovan area, it provides a perfect balance of tranquillity and accessibility. From the moment we arrived, Chandra (General Manager) and Raj (Hotel Manager) went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even after the property had sustained some weather-related damage. Later, when an Airbnb booking elsewhere fell through, Raj once again came to our rescue—turning a stressful situation into another memorable stay. All the staff were amazing throughout our time here, especially the spa manager and his wonderful team for their warmth and professionalism. A special mention also goes to Sachin from the Citrus Café for his exceptional service and thoughtful attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, hospitality, and serenity by the Ganga.

Stayed for 3 nights last week. Overall experience was good. Close to tapovan area/ram jhula. Property is well maintained with clean and spacious room. Got upgraded to Ganga facing rooms which have breathtaking views. Food quality and variety could have been better(2.5/5) ( comparing to other lemon tree hotels we stayed in past).
Sandeep R — Google review
Located a little higher up in a lovely bushy green area but the hotel actually spirals down to the banks of the Ganga. Also has a lovely, clean pool I used daily. Was a little disappointed w/1st quite bare room allocated, esp for Rs50k for a few days but after speaking to the super efficient Asst Mgr Gayathri about the leaking shower & lack of furniture, 1/2 way thru our stay, we were upgraded to the suite w/sofas we seniors really need. Much more comfortable, although this one still had a shower leak! Both rooms come with a balcony w/a view/constant sound of the Ganga & the opposite river bank where you're able to hear/see the daily evening Aarthi. Huge hotel but not much seating/relaxing areas created & the restaurant food could do w/a revamp. Breakfast has a good variety. However hi-tea & AlaCart is the same daily, w/very little variety. We were also disappointedly not served buffet dinners while there was low occupancy. Chef's happy to serve but could do with some creative cooking ideas. Also the noisy, meanigless music at the restaurant should be changed to some calm lounge music. How about some soft, Indian instrumental tunes? Staff were very helpful & courteous & Gayathri assured us, while this lovely hotel is very old, it's being upgraded phase by phase. We are sure to stay here again. Hopefully, all rooms will be upgraded by then.
Junglee G — Google review
Excellent stay with possibly the best location and view in Rishikesh. The property offers possibly the best view of the Ganges and a soulful Ganga Aarti. We were lucky to have a room upgrade with our doors opening right at the fence facing the Ganges. Located within walking distance or maybe a quick auto to prominent cafés and restaurants. A little curvy but easily drive able road to reception. Ample parking space and Excellent food, service and hospitality.
Rajat M — Google review
The place was right on the banks of the Ganges — such a beautiful spot! During our stay, there was some renovation and construction happening, so it got a bit noisy in the daytime, but otherwise, the location was amazing.
Parag R — Google review
Location is bit odd. No auto person will come to drop here. It's downhill and steep. Parking is quite ample. It's just riverfront. The ganga river is visible throughout property. Buy u can't go to ghat from here. Rooms are big and clean with a sit out. Bathroom lacked some amenities. The shower handle was broken. Front desk staff are polite and helpful so are the cleaning staffs. Worst part is the service of restaurant. They have very less staff for number of guests there. For breakfast spread, we literally needed to ask for plates and glasses and wait for a plate to come for at least 10 mins. Even the tables are less compared to number of guests. Price is quite high. You won't feel.being in a property like lemon tree literally.

Nestled at the base of the majestic Himalayas, Sterling Palm Bliss in Rishikesh offers a rejuvenating retreat focused on wellness and healthy living. The resort provides various programs such as detox, stress management, yoga, and burnout remedies to help guests realize their potential and enhance vitality.
It was indeed a blissful experience. Wholistic and spiritual at the same time. The resort just enhanced our overall trip and made it all the more memorable. The extremely helpful staff just added to our memories. The food was really good. Though not much of a variety it was clean, fresh and healthy. Their wellness program is also very good.
Bhavya S — Google review
Aroma by Taste – Sterling Palm Bliss, Rishikesh The restaurant has a nice location and ambience, but the overall experience was disappointing. The food itself was decent — about 4/5 in taste — but the service was extremely poor. The staff seemed indifferent and unapproachable, with no effort to ask for preferences or make guests feel welcome. Our order took more than 30 minutes to arrive, and even then, the serving was casual and careless. With the Sterling brand name, one expects warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism — qualities that were completely missing here. Sadly, despite the good food and location, the cold attitude and poor service overshadowed everything. I’d rate this place a 2/5, mainly for its setting and my past positive experiences with other Sterling properties.
Garima M — Google review
Ths stay at Sterling Palm bliss Rishikesh was amazing.the hotel is strategically located around 500mts distance from The Ganges. The staff is very warm especially Suresh ji and team in the Aroma restaurant and food is really prepared thoughtfully with love.Hats off to the girls out in the restaurant. Really helpful. The reception area is well lit and entrance is well managed by front desk. Talking about the rooms, they are well maintained with clean washroom and lobby area.Room pantry, fridge and kettle are there when you are hungry and want to munch something. Wellness centre is properly maintained, staff there also is very helpful and caring. The foot massage there was quiet calm and relaxing. Could not access the gaming area much with very little time to stay but can spend some time with toddlers ans teenagers there. Evening snacks and tea at Aveda cafe was energetic after day long journey to Neelkanth Mahadev temple. The open area near Buddha statue and the Aarti is a mesmerizing experience. Should definitely pay a 3 day visit to this hotel. My experience was overall refreshing.Just don't feel like going back. Would definitely visit again.

So, on our trip, we checked out the Sterling hotels. It's a pretty good place, you know, nice and relaxing. The staff was cool. It was close to the Ram Jhula, which was handy. I'm not giving it five stars though, 'cause it's a pain to get around without public transport, and the restaurant closes way too early, like, what if you're hungry late at night? The rooms were nice though.

We had an excellent stay at Palm Bliss. Spacious room, sparkling white linen, and fabulous dining experience. The dinner buffets were awesome - sumptuous spread; exceptional culinary skill; heartwarming service by dining room staff. Special mention must be made of Manager, Mr Suresh, and Dining staff, Mr Sajan. They took great care of us all through our 4-day stay. Commendations to Chef, Mr Vikas, for the finger-licking food, especially the dishes served at Dinner Time. Thanks to the Housekeeping staff for attending to our needs with singular promptness. And to Mr Vikas, for doing a good job so that we always returned to a clean room after a day if hectic sightseeing and darshan. All in all, a wonderful stay. I highly recommend Palm Bliss Rishikesh.

What do you need in a hotel? 1. Location 2. Hygiene 3. Hospitality At this place, all three are zero. 1. Location: The worst. You can’t walk around anywhere; you have to depend on a car or taxi to go out. 2. Hygiene: Even worse. Rooms were unclean, bedding was dirty and smelly, and even the towels were unhygienic. The room had a permanent damp smell—not suitable for overnight stays. It caused excessive coughing and discomfort. 3. Hospitality: I honestly don’t know how they are getting such high ratings on different platforms. Trust me, this is the worst hospitality I’ve experienced. You raise a complaint, they acknowledge it but never take action. Very poor management overall. Additional issues: • No WiFi. • Lifts were not working, so you have to climb stairs up to the 3rd floor. • The so-called “high tea” area is terrible—only enough seating for 3 families, while the rest of the guests stand around waiting uncomfortably. Overall: A big NO. Travel at your own risk. Don’t be fooled by flashy reviews.

A wonderful place to stay in Rishikesh! I visited with friends and spent a couple of days here. The atmosphere is peaceful, the rooms are clean, and the rates are quite reasonable. While there’s no in-house kitchen, food options are available just a short walk away.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. Though beautifully located, the King Suite promised to us turned out to be extremely disappointing. Despite clear instructions before hand to ensure clean room and linen, we were welcomed with stained linen in a room with large windows but without any curtains. When asked to put curtains, they did a shoddy job out of it (pic att). Basic dusting in the room had not been carried out with dust lying on sofas, chairs and everywhere else possible as indicated in the photos. Despite repeated calls, no efforts were made to clean the room. Paint stained chairs and extremely dirty sofa where one could not even sit. We had no choice but to leave the hotel after waiting for two hours despite having paid almost Rs 5000 for a night with no scope of refund.
Harshit C — Google review
My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The service was below standard, and the staff were unprofessional and unresponsive. Basic amenities such as hand wash soap were missing, and the towels provided were dirty, which reflects poor hygiene standards. Additionally, there was no responsible staff member available after 8 PM, and calls to the reception went unanswered after 10:30 PM. Even essential services like providing mineral water were unavailable late at night, which is unacceptable for any hospitality establishment. Overall, the lack of professionalism and basic guest services made my stay unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed experience.

Despite being one of the more famous hotels in Rishikesh, the rooms do not do justice to the price. The rooms are poorly maintained and service is extremely poor. The only good thing about the property is the view of the mountains and the river Ganges. Overall it was an average experience staying at the hotel.

Pathetic room. Even worse staff and service. Don’t ever try this stay. Gave 5000 bucks for this place. Booking was done like a week before. The room was not even dusted properly no curtains damaged sofas, shitty linen stained and wet. Smelly rooms and washroom.

I surprised my wife for her birthday and we stayed at Hotel Ishan it was the best decision! The Ganga view room was beautiful and really made the occasion special. The food here is tasty and we both loved the peaceful vibe. The spa session was so relaxing a perfect gift for her! The staff were all so kind, especially Anushka Ma’am and Suhasini Ma’am at the front desk who helped us with everything, from check-in to planning a small cake surprise. Also, it’s a pet friendly place which we loved Holi, the hotel’s calm dog, added such a homely touch. Highly recommend Hotel Ishan for anyone planning a special stay in Rishikesh!

First room I was in was newly renovated. I like the aesthetic of it. Other room was ok though the Ganga view was incredible. The highlight of my stay was the staff, namely Suhasini, Rahul, Anushka and Pankaj. They all are very nice and made my stay comfortable, fun and easy to explore. The location of the hotel is great as it is near to the ghat which was important to me. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing stay.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful from the comfortable rooms to the smooth service. The property is beautiful and the atmosphere welcoming. The staff was courteous , helpful all the time whenever we want any help. A special thanks to Anushka, whose genuine hospitality and attention to detail made our experience truly outstanding.

This property offers great value with well kept amenities, smooth service, and a welcoming vibe. The overall experience was excellent. While the entire team worked efficiently, Anushka deserves a mention for her professional yet friendly approach that added to the pleasant stay.

The eagle's nest of Richikesh! Live in a painting of Ganges. Ask for a room on the top floor. See picture taken from room 115. A wonderful hotel with excellent service and delicious food. Enjoy! //Niklas

We had very good experience overall. It was easy to step out and explore cafés, small shops, and the riverbank on foot. Our room was simple but very clean, with fresh sheets and a balcony that gave us a nice view of the Ganga. Mornings were especially peaceful sitting there with tea. The staff were polite and approachable - Anushka at the reception always had a smile and was quick to guide us whenever we asked about nearby places. The atmosphere inside the hotel is calm, which was a welcome contrast to the busy streets outside. It's not a luxury property, but if you're looking for a safe, comfortable stay with a homely touch, this place works really well.
Aryansoniboy S — Google review
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Apart from the food quality, there was nothing good about my stay. I had booked a balcony room, but it was unusable due to 4-5 lizards constantly present in the area, making it uncomfortable to sit outside. Rooms are very small. Basic services like providing cutlery with food were also a hassle — I had to make 2-3 follow-up calls each time just to get it. Parking is another major issue. Guests are expected to park their vehicles 300-400 meters away from the hotel, and there are no valet services available. The rooms were not up to the mark and did not match the images shown during booking. Towels provided were not properly cleaned, which was very disappointing. Additionally, while the staff initially agreed to reimburse the parking charges, they created excuses at the time of checkout and refused to pay. After some back-and-forth, they eventually agreed, but the experience was unpleasant. Overall, a very disappointing stay.
MIS A — Google review
I have only incredible things to say about this Hotel. I actually ended up staying here for almost 3 weeks. I came thinking I was only going to be there for a few days, but the staff and room was so amazing that I continued to stay longer and longer. Everyone treated me incredibly well, going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Suhasni who runs the front desk is incredible at her job. Anytime I needed something, she made sure it was taken care of quickly and efficiently. She also always made me feel welcome every time I walked in the door. Pankaj who is in charge of the spa not only connected me with great spa services, but jumped into help anytime I needed anything else. It is clear that he wants to make everybody feel comfortable as possible and truly cares about the guests and his staff. This place treats guests like family. Next time I am in the area I will definitely stay here again. It’s honestly been one of the best Hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I travel quite a bit. One extra bonus is that The Amazing café next-door also delivers directly to your room. Honestly, everything was perfect!

The hotel also provides a restaurant and free private parking, along with paid airport shuttle service. Guests have praised the welcoming and attentive staff who ensure a homely experience. The well-appointed rooms offer modern amenities for a comfortable stay.
Had a perfect stay at green view hotel. the staff is very helpful and polite. We stayed at premium room which was very spacious and clean with mountain view. The in-house restaurant had amazing food. Location is walking distance from parmarth ghat and has peaceful ambience.

A Stay Full of Disappointments : Extremely disappointing stay. There was no room service, the interior was poorly maintained, and the staff showed no understanding or sense of hospitality. To make things worse, there were serious plumbing issues that made the experience even more uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the price or the trouble.
Dhruv V — Google review
First- This is not a wellness hotel. The rooms are average - they would be clean but the amenities - there is no fresh toilet paper provided. The so called mountain view is only from 3rd floor rooms otherwise it is not a good choice. Second - the service team is laidback and doesn't care enough if the items needed are provided or not Third - the location is average - while it walking distance from Ghats the area nearby is stinky, filthy and crowdy. If you are going for a relaxed weekend - I DO NOT recommend this hotel at all.
Kritika G — Google review
Pathetic hotel. The washroom smells filthy. There was no water bottle , doormat present in the room. We had to remind them everytime. The blanket was dirty and teared apart and when we ask the reason, the told because of moisture . I was in shock that after paying so much amount, the facilities are pathetic and zero maintainence. There is no parking for 4 wheeler. They even have a rooftop restaurant which serves great food ,but again they don't have RO water. Since past 4 months, RO is not working and they don't care and force consumer to purchase water. Is this a joke? Please don't waste your money. Also there is another property name as green hotel which is good. But don't go for green view hotel. If I could rate this hotel in minus,I will do that.
Pallav K — Google review
This hotel was a major disappointment. From the moment we checked in, it was clear this wasn't going to be the relaxing stay we hoped for. The front desk staff seemed indifferent and unhelpful. Our room felt outdated and poorly maintained, with visible wear and tear, and a general sense of neglect. The "cleanliness" was questionable, especially in the bathroom, and the amenities advertised either didn't work or were completely missing. To top it off, the noise from outside (and inside) the hotel made getting a good night's sleep nearly impossible. Save your money and look elsewhere. I genuinely regret choosing this hotel. It was a frustrating and thoroughly unpleasant experience from start to finish. The room was far from what was pictured online; it was cramped, dimly lit, and frankly, dirty. We found unidentified stains on the carpet and bedding, and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. The air conditioning barely worked, making the room uncomfortably stuffy, and the Wi-Fi was so unreliable it was practically useless. When we tried to address these issues with staff, we were met with indifference and a complete lack of urgency. This hotel seriously needs an overhaul in both its facilities and its customer service. Avoid this hotel at all costs. My recent stay was nothing short of a nightmare. This place is a dump. The room was disgusting – filthy surfaces, suspicious odors, and an overall sense of decay. It felt unsafe, unclean, and completely unwelcoming. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets felt grimy, and I was genuinely concerned about the hygiene. Customer service was virtually nonexistent; staff were rude, dismissive, and clearly had no interest in assisting guests. This hotel is a rip-off, offering a deplorable experience for any price. Do yourself a favor and book anywhere else.
CHANNI F — Google review
We were running late and the hotel kept calling us repeatedly to check if we're coming. After bothering us for 4 hours, they didn't even have the room ready. We asked them multiple times for an extra bed in a room that was booked for 3 people. But they didn't provide us. 3 adults had to sleep on the same bed. It was a horrible experience and I would not suggest anyone book this hotel.
Siddharth V — Google review
My booking at green view by green tree was extremely unpleasant, primarily due to the unprofessional and inappropriate behavior of the staff. From the beginning, the front desk personnel were rude and dismissive, showing little regard for basic hospitality. What shocked me most was that a staff member directly asked me for money in a way that felt completely inappropriate and uncomfortable. It wasn’t a formal charge or tip request — it felt more like a personal demand, and it left me feeling uneasy and disrespected. This is completely unacceptable behavior in any hotel, let alone one that claims to offer decent service. The management seemed indifferent when I raised the issue, which only made matters worse. Between the poor attitude, lack of professionalism, and this disturbing incident, I can confidently say I will never stay here again — and I strongly caution others to think twice before booking.

An Excellent Stay in Green View by Green Tree hotels in Swargashram. This is truly one of the best hotels to stay in Swargashram! It has everything you could ask for: * A perfect location with stunning mountain-facing views * Clean, well-maintained rooms and washrooms * And yes—absolutely delicious, mouth-watering food ( Green Italian Cafe ) Parmarth Ghat is just a short walk away, making the location even more convenient. The Vasundhara palace hotel is located at walking distance of Janki Jhula Bridge and the Janki Setu. The river area was walkable distance. The hotel is new and well maintained and had a clean spacious look through out. We were a group of 11 persons on a pilgrimage trip on had a wonderful twonight stay at Vasundhara Palace. Rooms are also spacious and clean with all amenities. The toilets were very clean modern and the towels were spotless shower facilities were comfortable. The bed was very cozy, the chairs comfortable and the linen and they were very clean and spot less. The room service was very prompt and quick. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which had a lot of varieties and had multiple options. The restaurant had indoor seating as well as open air and food was delicious throughout. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. What I really liked is the modern décor and the common areas well kept. Truly a great experience and highly recommended for stay in Rishikesh. What made the whole stay very comfortable was the excellent service at the reception, the room service and at the restaurants and friendly staff.

I was quite sceptical when my agent booked me this place in Rishikesh. I am always wary of hotels that aren’t known brands like Marriott, Taj or Club Mahindra etc. I was however pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. Tastefully done interiors at the lobby, decent clean rooms that are spacious, well equipped and functioning bathrooms that are clean. The restaurant is good though service and speed can be better. The outside seating of the restaurant actually looked much better than the inside ones but the afternoon heat wasn’t a the greatest of times to do that. I am sure that place must be just brilliant during Winters. The location of the hotel is perhaps the best…merely 75 mts from the banks of the Ganges. A 3 min walk gets you there. That’s the idea place to be able to go and have a dip at any time, get there on time for the evening Aarti. The walk to the market place is alarming 5-10 mins and easy to get things you want to buy. Overall it’s a good and economical place to stay if you are on a budget.

Situated along the banks of the Ganges river, this resort provides a comfortable stay with amenities such as kitchenettes, spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms and balconies, and living rooms with attached bathrooms. Its prime location offers access to various activities and tourist sites nearby.
The location is serene and peaceful, right next to the Ganges. Close to the city and yet far. The garden area and the pool area is just beautiful with nice breeze and its well maintained. The service is exceptional with all staff very polite and professional. Room service was always prompt. The food was also the highlight whether at the ala carte open air dining or the buffet everything was made with love. All in all a wonderful experience, highly recommended.

The service was exceptional! The pool and views are very beautiful and the yoga class was nice. The spa was perfect! When we stayed, there were remodeling so it was noisy very close to the room. The room design was absolutely beautiful, however there was a very intense smell of mold mixed with intense perfume. The drainage had some issues and very bad smells came in through the bathroom. The lobby had a very intense perfume smell, it was hard to stay inside and breathe. Several of the common rooms had this issue.

Wonderful team and great service overall. Food was excellent and well prepared. Superb view from the hotel- Always opt for Ganga view, it will make your stay worth. Aarti experience was great too. Nature walk experience was ok. Feedback on - 1. Rooms stay- AC was not working and mold smell was extremely high in all the rooms. One of the bathroom tap was also non functional. TV was non functional. 2. Kids activity area pricing should be relooked as the prices are too high even for small games.

Excellent kitchen staff. Food was great, but that’s that. You don’t need to waste your hard-earned money on their horrendous rooms and hospitality. The rooms kept stinking of sewage, toilet fittings were broken, water in the shower was muddy and ran either hot or cold, nothing in between. To top it off, the toiletries they provided had a toothbrush fully covered with mold. Ew.

Very bad service and amenities .. after paying such a hefty amount for 1 night the kids room amenities are not included in that even they are asking for charges for using there pool table.. my god I have never seen such bad service in any other resort.. so better to go for other resorts. Better than this and in less price….

A value for money is what is CHURNED out of a mid range / luxury property, mainly by the cohesion amongst teams led by Vandana. Alok ji does the Best with resources at his disposal to make your stay memorable with activities ranging from Durlabh Darshan, Ganga Aarti to folk dance performances by lead troupes of UK, on occasion of Igaas Bugwal 2025 And steal of the show for sure is Chef Sanjay Petwal ji, who truly leaves no stone un turned, be it at the Patio restaurant or the Dining hall. Custmisations suit individual palette , ofcourse within permissible limits, but delicious vegetarian delicacies including gulgule, rotana, Thekua - all served during hi tea to celebrate Budhi Diwali urf Igaas Bugwal 2025. Thank you Vandana ji for a memorable stay for a young Senior citizen who has been travelling since 1975, if not across the globe, atleast Kashmir to Kanyakumari and across international borders.

GANGA KINARE - A Riverside Boutique Resort is a sophisticated riverfront hotel located in the entertainment district of Rishikesh. The upscale resort offers stunning views of the Ganges River and is conveniently situated near local attractions such as Triveni Ghat and Ram Jhula. Guests can indulge in relaxation at the full-service spa or enjoy modern amenities including a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and fitness center.
The location and hospitality at the hotel is awesome. We took a family room and it was very spacious and relaxing. The restaurant food was great! After a long flight from the US and a couple of days at Delhi, this place was a true reprieve. They gave us a guided tour to the Triveni ghat and the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I had remembered his name to give him some due credit. They offer a free of charge yoga and meditation session in the morning (you have to inform them in advance the prior evening). We did the yoga session, and the instructor Yogita was simply awesome!! We will come to this hotel again in the future.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel with a breathtaking view of the Ganga. The hotel has its own private Ganga ghat, which made the experience even more special. The highlight was definitely the restaurant, JAL & JALEBI—the food was exceptional! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the setting by the river was perfect. A special mention goes to their representative, Vikas, who was incredibly humble and attentive. He made sure our stay was seamless and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Ganga while experiencing top-notch hospitality!

We had booked this place for an engagement function with high expectations, but unfortunately the arrangements were quite disappointing. Basic things like seating, decoration, and cleanliness were not managed properly. The staff seemed unorganized, and service was very slow, which caused unnecessary stress on such an important day. Despite repeated requests, issues were not addressed on time. Not recommended for any type of functions.
Gautam K — Google review
I stayed for 3 days in the Luxury Premium Room, which is the second-highest category they offer. Sharing my honest experience so others can be more informed before booking: ⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind 1. Don’t trust the sales staff blindly, especially Garima. I booked directly through their sales team instead of an online portal, and it turned out to be a mistake. 2. The reception number is unreliable — they often disconnect the call if they’re busy, without even asking why you called. There should definitely be more staff at the front desk. 3. Avoid rooms on the first floor — there’s zero privacy. A common gallery runs right outside the balcony, so anyone passing by can see inside. You’ll need to keep your curtains closed all the time. And if you forget to lock the balcony door, someone could easily enter. 4. Bring your own toiletries — the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided are of poor quality. 5. Room phones are mostly non-functional. You can only reach reception or room dining; other numbers are just printed there for show. 6. Housekeeping service is extremely poor. We requested basic things like coffee mugs, water bottles, and curry replacements multiple times, but no one bothered to deliver. 🌅 The Good Parts 1. The view is genuinely beautiful — that’s the highlight of the stay. 2. The property is small but scenic. It doesn’t really qualify as a resort, but you can still enjoy the surroundings. 3. They did change our room after complaints, but it wasted an entire day of our trip (and honestly, our money too). 4. Special mention to staff members Rajat Rana, Shikha, and Rohit — they were polite, supportive, and really made our stay more comfortable and pleasant despite the other issues. 5. Overall, the hotel looks nice, but the service and experience don’t justify the price. 6. If you’re getting the Luxury Premium Room for under ₹10,000, it’s a fair deal. Otherwise, I’d suggest checking out other properties nearby.

🌿 Review of Ganga Kinare – A Riverside Boutique Hotel, Rishikesh ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Our family had a wonderful stay at Ganga Kinare from 11th to 13th October 2025, and the experience was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality of the staff made us feel extremely welcome. The reception team was warm, courteous, and efficient — making the check-in smooth and quick. They also helped us with all the details regarding our stay and made sure everything was perfectly arranged. A special mention to Himani from housekeeping, who went out of her way to ensure our comfort. She was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The cleanliness and upkeep of the room were excellent throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised and deeply touched by the beautiful room decoration arranged by the team for our daughter’s birthday celebration. It made the occasion truly special and memorable for our family — a gesture we will always cherish. The food at the resort was another highlight. We enjoyed the breakfast on both days and dinner at the in-house restaurant, and every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The buffet spread offered a good variety, catering to both local and continental tastes. The riverside dining experience added an extra charm to it. The location of the resort is serene and peaceful, right on the banks of the Ganga. The view from the property is breathtaking, and the overall ambience is calm, spiritual, and rejuvenating. Overall, Ganga Kinare provided us with a perfect family getaway — combining comfort, scenic beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Rishikesh, especially families looking for a memorable and relaxing stay. Thank you, Team Ganga Kinare, for making our daughter’s birthday and our family trip so special!

I was travelling with family and kids. They gave us room that had smoke smell and put air freshner and stopped accepting it. Nestled in the foothills of the Shivalik Range, this hotel provides a serene environment with breathtaking mountain views. Its prime location allows easy access to nearby attractions such as Triveni Ghat and Ram Jhula.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I walked into the beautifully appointed lobby, I knew I was in for something special. The check-in process was seamless and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. My room was immaculately clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept soundly each night. The housekeeping staff did an outstanding job maintaining everything to the highest standards. The hotel’s location was perfect - easily accessible and close to local attractions while still being peaceful and quiet. The facilities were top-notch, and I particularly enjoyed amenities like pool, restaurant, gym, etc. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made all the difference. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a premium experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. This is hospitality done right! Highly recommended! 👍

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Money! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I had the worst experience staying here and completely regret wasting ₹11,000 for just one night. The service is absolutely pathetic – untrained and unprofessional staff who clearly can't handle basic guest interactions. I was given my room at 2:50 PM after a long and frustrating wait. The check-in desk was chaotic, with staff panicking and even arguing among themselves in front of guests. Zero sense of hospitality. There was no welcome drink as promised, and the buffet was a joke – barely any items to choose from. On top of that, the hotel charges extra for basic amenities like swimming pool costumes, which should clearly be complementary in a so-called premium hotel. Overall, a terrible experience. Poor service, bad food, and total mismanagement. This hotel doesn't deserve even a single star.

From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made us feel at home. The location is perfect—close enough to the Ganga and main attractions, yet peaceful and serene. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a variety to choose from, and the view from the terrace was simply magical, especially during sunrise. The team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable—whether it was helping with local tips, arranging transport, or simply greeting us with a genuine smile. If you’re visiting Rishikesh and want a mix of comfort, hospitality, and a great location, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

During our recent stay at Natraj Hotel, my experience was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel certainly has its merits, but there were several issues that made the overall experience disappointing, especially when traveling with family and young kids. Firstly, the hotel can be a good choice if you’re getting a deal under ₹5000 that includes breakfast, and if the room is of a decent size, such as an Excel size room. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and aesthetically pleasing, with adequate furniture and decor. The breakfast offered was decent, and the location of the hotel was convenient for our needs. However, sadly, these positives were overshadowed by multiple issues, especially regarding their staff and services. The biggest concern we faced during our stay was the unprofessional behavior of the staff. From check-in to check-out, their attitude left us disappointed. Here’s a more detailed account: We had booked two rooms for two nights, traveling with small children (aged 2 and 3). After a long and tiring journey, we were looking forward to a comfortable stay. However, the first night turned out to be quite unpleasant. The air conditioner (AC) in both our rooms was not working properly. Initially, we thought it might be due to a minor issue, so we tried to ignore it and went out for dinner. However, at night, the situation became unbearable due to the lack of ventilation in the rooms. When we complained to the reception staff about the AC problem, instead of immediately addressing the issue, they dismissed it by claiming that we had forgotten to switch the AC on. This response was both rude and highly frustrating, as it completely disregarded our concern. To confirm the issue, I even asked my friend (in the other room) if their AC was working, and unfortunately, they too were facing the same issue. It wasn’t until I warned the reception staff that we would check out immediately if the issue wasn’t resolved that they sent an electrician to inspect the ACs. Upon inspection, the maintenance staff confirmed that both ACs had technical issues. Only then were we shifted to new rooms. This entire process wasted a significant amount of time and caused unnecessary stress—something no guest wants after a tiring journey, especially with young kids who were struggling to sleep due to the heat and suffocation. Checkout Experience: Our checkout experience was equally unpleasant. While the hotel’s clearly mentioned checkout time is 12:00 PM, I received a call from the reception at 11:00 AM, rudely asking me to vacate the room. When I politely questioned why I was being asked to leave an hour before the standard checkout time, the receptionist stated in an unfriendly tone that if I delayed, I would be charged extra. What added to my disappointment was that my friend’s young daughter fell unwell with a fever, and I informed the reception of our situation, requesting some extra time. Although they eventually allowed my friend a little more time, the tone and approach of the staff felt highly unprofessional and insensitive, given the circumstances we were facing. If you’re on a tight budget and looking for a hotel with decent rooms, Natraj Hotel can work for you, provided you are prepared to potentially face situations like insufficient service quality, unresponsive staff, and inefficient problem resolution. However, for families traveling with kids, especially those expecting attentive service and a smooth experience, I do not recommend this hotel. My experience might have been a one-off, but it revealed lapses in the management’s training and lack of professionalism from the staff. Addressing guests’ concerns promptly and respectfully is the least one should expect from a hotel, and unfortunately, Natraj Hotel fell short in this regard.

Stayed over the weekend, hotel is located in the Center of Rishikesh and local transport available. Rooms were clean and staff were supportive. Fresh orange juice was mesmerising and a roasted pineapple dish was amazing (don’t remember name). Overall good food quality 🫡

Exceptional stay from start to finish! Impeccable service, elegant rooms, delicious dining, and stunning views. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of — truly a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Hotel Natraj, Rishikesh with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. On the first day, the room provided to us was in very poor condition. One of the rooms had a terrible smell, but we somehow managed to adjust for the night. The next day, we were allotted new rooms – Room No. 220 and 219. However, when we used the washroom in Room 220, we were shocked to find that it had already been used. There were visible fecal particles, which I had to flush myself, and the toilet seat was broken. I immediately went down to the reception and reported the issue, but all I received was an apology. No action was taken to fix the issue or compensate for the inconvenience. This kind of service is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the hotel’s hygiene standards and customer care. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to ensure no other guest has to face such an unpleasant experience in the future.

The food, atmosphere, and service at this restaurant are all amazing! As soon as we walked in, the staff was friendly, helpful, and knew a lot about the menu. The decor is sleek and classy, which sets the mood for a meal you'll never forget. The food? So good! The flavors and presentation of each dish were better than we had hoped for. The rooms, location and atmosphere of this hotel were all amazing! When we checked into the hotel, they welcomed us with a Rudraksh Mala and a Tilak. The rooms too were plush and comfy. Even while checking out, they gave us a bottle of Ganga Jal as a gift. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again!

We had an amazing stay here yesterday. Everything was so good whether it was convience in booking, courteous staff, property decor(too good), or house keeping, every service was quite easy and fast. Staff was very welcoming. House keeping team did a great job. Now, if I talk about dining experience, it is beyond words. Food preparation as per our need, quality and taste was delicious.

The Shivaay® - Hotel Delight Inn™ is a casual hotel located in Tapovan, near Ram Jhula. The rooms come with mountain views and the hotel offers dining and a rooftop terrace.
This place was such a treat to stay at. The service was incredibly accommodating to all of our needs, including getting a scooter as well as a heater for the room. The manager was so sweet and really cared for us to have a great stay while here, and we did. I highly recommend staying here and the location is centrally located too so many wonderful restaurants, wellness centers and other adventures.

The hotel The Shivaay Delight Inn is really really stands out on almost all the parameters. The politeness & helping nature of all the staff, but especially Shri. Rakesh Negi Jo's behavior who welcomed us and provided with the best possible treatment for 3 days stay. When we went there, hardly any room was available, but despite being so, the room was so well maintained & equipped with all the facilities. Only suggestion to newcomers is that it's best to book in advance at least 2 days ago, before you reach here, when you're planning for top season. Otherwise in normal days, it's best to go directly there as they would provide the rooms even cheaper than the online websites. The rooftop & restaurant view is also beautiful, and a MUST consider stay option whenever you're planning to reach Tapovan, Rishikesh, as it's so very close to Lakshman Jhula.

Our stay at hotel shivaay delight inn was exceptional! The rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable, and stylish, with great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Really nice hotel compared to the two other ones we tried to stay in. Clean and well maintained. It meets US and Canadian standards. Rakesh Negi at the front desk was super helpful. Front desk is open almost 24/7. Room service is available any time. They also have a nice restaurant, the food was delicious and well made. I liked it because it wasn't oily and tasted home made. Thanks!

A clean, cozy hotel, a dedicated team, in a great location for those who like to be in the heart of things but also hidden by another hotel from the road and therefore quiet. There is a wonderful roof top to drink chai in the morning and a yoga practice in front of the mountainous views. The bed is clean and comfortable, excellent WiFi, a powerful air conditioner, and a shower with hot water. The team takes care of everything you need, the management is perfect and feels family, for example, they didn't let me get out of the hotel without getting a bottle of water on the way :) There is a cute little restaurant in the hotel, an excellent and clean and very economical, a rich variety of dishes, if they explain to them a specific diet you adhere to, they make the effort. I asked for vegan food and they made the adjustments.
יואל ש — Google review
I stayed at this hotel during peak season and want to appreciate their service. The food was average, and while I prefer spacious rooms, the rooms here were quite small. However, if you’re paying a reasonable price, it’s still a good option. The hotel’s location is excellent, right in the city center, with many attractions, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. The downside is the parking, which is very tight and difficult to navigate. If you have a front-wheel-drive car, it can be particularly challenging. The gallery area is also small, and since it faces another building, there’s no view to enjoy. As mentioned earlier, the rooms are small, so you can't sit and relax with your tea or coffee inside. Instead, you’ll have to rely on the restaurant on the 4th floor for that. Overall, if you can get a good price, I’d recommend this hotel. I booked in advance through an online portal, so I managed to get an affordable rate even during peak season. If you’re looking for a budget hotel in the city center, this one is a good option, but be prepared for the parking challenge.

This hotel is 50 meters away from the main road. I stayed here and my experience was very good in this hotel. The rooms are very clean and the bathroom is clean. The housekeeping boys were repeatedly asking a Your room should not be cleaned and they are solving all the issues. Front office manager Rakesh Negi is of very friendly nature, he took good care of me and Ashish Chamoli guided me well in the room And the room was allotted well, the food in the hotel is also good, everything is good, I will definitely say that I will book this hotel, you will get a very good experience from both the staff and the hotel

Nice and clean hotel with cozy rooms. The staff is super helpful and accomodating, specially Suraj who helped us book taxis for our trips and also for the airport drop. The rooms are decent in size but if you don't tune on the exhaust the room gets a bit smelly so you need to keep it running. The restaurant serves delicious food as well, a bit pricey but it's worth it. Would definitely recommend as the location is amazing as well. One downside was the swimming pool which was super dirty and not fit for swimming at all.

Exceptional Hospitality and Flexibility – Highly Recommended In summary, the hotel staff were extremely accommodating and understanding, despite the very fluid travel situation we had. We had booked two rooms at Holy River Hotel for the night of our return from Kedarnath. A couple of weeks prior, I contacted the hotel to ask if we could leave some large luggage with them on our way to Kedarnath, and collect it upon our return. They responded promptly via WhatsApp and confirmed it was absolutely fine. We dropped off our luggage at the hotel as planned. Our original return date was May 24th. However, due to delays leaving Gaurikund that day, I informed the hotel that we would be arriving around 2–3 AM on May 25th. Once again, they responded promptly, assuring us that arriving late wouldn’t be an issue. We began our journey from Gaurikund, but encountered heavy rain and landslide-affected roads. Realizing it wasn’t safe to continue, we stayed overnight in Tilwara. I updated the hotel, and they fully supported our decision, noting the roads could indeed become dangerous. On May 26th, we resumed our journey at 6 AM and notified the hotel of an expected arrival around 9:30 AM. They assured us there were no issues and even offered to hold some breakfast for us. Unfortunately, severe traffic delays due to poor road conditions pushed our arrival to around 11:45 AM—after the usual check-out time of 11:00 AM. We didn’t expect the hotel to accommodate us at that point, but to our surprise, they messaged back saying the rooms were still held for us and we could freshen up before heading back to Delhi. We arrived at 11:50 AM, and the hotel graciously provided both rooms, encouraging us to relax and take our time. They even served us tea—free of charge. We got ready and departed around 1:30 PM. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Suraj, the manager, and his entire team for their exceptional service, flexibility, and prompt communication through WhatsApp. Their commitment to guest satisfaction truly stood out. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Although we didn’t stay overnight, the attitude and service provided by the staff were outstanding. I would gladly choose to stay here again on any future visit to the region. (Pics are from the road conditions)

Near main road of laxman jhula. But when you step outside of the hotel be ready for the heavy traffic This hotel is very expensive. I had booked this hotel for my parents and relatives for the 3 nights with superior rooms with breakfast. Breakfast spread was nice. Although they had dinner at the restaurant which was very costly. Like one icecream Scoop is for 120 rupees. Rooms are nice and clean. Also reception staff was very helpful and supportive. Thank you holy river hotel. Date of stay:June 2025 Room Tip:Please book this hotel minimum 2 months before your trip so you can get a good deal. Otherwise this hotel pricing gets very high. Trip type:Travelled with family

We booked hotel before 1-2 months before from cleartrip and took email confirmation from hotel and they said it's confirmed. Now after 1-2 month they are calling us to tell us that we cannot give you room as hotel is sold out and they are selling same rooms at higher prices to other customer. We had to show email confirmation and had to talk to cleartrip to resolve the issue. After talking to general manager and showing him proof he requested us to take full refund inspite of having booking. After cleartrip came in to resolve and we too made mind to send them a legal notice then they called us to tell us that they will honor our bookings. Such a big cheat this hotel is. Management is really tried to extort more money and cancel old confirmed booking and earn few more pennys. Please do not rely on this property. This all was managed to harass us by Mr dev singh from the hotel.

Sir at the outset I was searching rooms at Rishikesh but all other reviews were not appealing suddenly I came across this hotel and I could not find one minus point in any review. I and my wife stayed for 4 days returned yesterday. I would like to reiterate that right from security till the top person all were Highly co.operative no doubts. First Sonam and Team excellent welcome which we did not expect. Allotment of room Fabulous and very neat and cleanly maintained. Than RESTAURANT THERE staff are down to earth and breakfast Lunch Hi Tea and dinner served deserves cent percent appreciation.there restaurant staff so well disciplined and even after my return to Bangalore asking about our welfare and request us to keep in touch and refer there hotel. We became so emotional that yesterday vehicle came to drop at airport but we didn't feel of leaving from there and in emotion tears rolled in our eyes when we had no alternative than to leave. Our sincere thanks to Hotel staff especially Mr Negi who took special care as we donot take onion Garlic. I recently visited Arogyadham Wellness Center seeking relief from insomnia and stress, and I am incredibly pleased with the results. After undergoing a combination of medication and therapy over a period of 7 days, I have experienced a significant improvement in my sleep quality, as well as a noticeable reduction in stress levels. My mind feels much calmer, and I am finally getting the restful sleep I had been struggling with for a long time. A special mention goes to Dr. Arjun, whose dedication and commitment to my well-being went far beyond expectations. Not only did he provide personalized care, but he also took the time to regularly check in with me, ensuring I was following the treatment plan and addressing any concerns I had. His willingness to share his knowledge and experience truly made a difference in my healing journey. I am grateful for the support at Arogyadham, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of wellness and stress relief. I will be sharing more detailed review after completing 3 month medication course.

Not clean. Whole hotel was smelling of smoke. Worst sales team. No co-ordination between all the teams and hotel management. They misguide you with a window room and when you reach you see a wall just 10 cms from the window! Please book something better than this. This is worst with broken area as parking.
Kriti P — Google review
I did not have a good experience here. Though I am sure the Hotel is in for great times ahead, thanks to the demand for rooms in Rishikesh. Good things first, food is great here. There's a small pool on the top floor and there's a spa and massage centre next door. As far as bad things go, the evening staff was cold and unfriendly. Rooms are poorly designed - windows of rooms at the back, on floors 2 and 3 it seems, open to big walls - you cannot tell day from night as these rooms do not get any natural light. The two worst things are (a) the toilet seats - the installer has put smaller seat covers, they don't cover the rim. Men will surely get UTIs since your thing will touch the seat, the seats are so small. When I shared this with the Hotel Administrator, he said all rooms have the same sized seats. (b) the ceiling lights are poorly placed, turning the fan on makes the entire room psychedelic (see video). Made me feel dizzy. So you will end up turning on the AC even when you don't need to. All they need to do is provide a separate switch for these two lamps located behind the rotating ceiling fan blades. Walking to and from the hotel through a secret passage is nice. Tapovan Ghat is just a 10-min walk, through a narrow and exciting lane, full of small shops and eateries.

I rarely write negative reviews, but my stay here was so frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others. 1. Location: The hotel is located at the very far end of Tapovan, almost like a remote village. Getting there is a challenge in itself—the roads are broken and in terrible condition. If you’re not prepared for bumpy rides, this will be a nightmare. 2. Staff Behavior: The staff is shockingly rude. Ask them for anything, and they will either refuse outright or tell you to “talk to the manager.” There is no sense of hospitality here. 3. Room Service Switch Mystery: The rooms have a “Make My Room” switch. Sounds nice, right? Wrong. You can turn it on, go out for hours, come back, and your room will be exactly the same. When you complain, the reception tells you that you still have to inform them directly. So… why is the switch there? Decoration? Mood lighting? 4. Overcharging for Basics: Even basic water bottles are overpriced—₹30 bottles are sold for ₹40 plus SGST and CGST. When questioned, they show some “Supreme Court order,”. I’ve stayed in dozens of hotels—never seen anything like it. Final Verdict: If your bucket list includes “bad roads, rude staff, pointless switches, murky pools, and overpriced water,” congratulations—you’ve found your paradise.

Nestled along the serene riverwalk in Rishikesh, Kamay The Grand Alova is a delightful 4-star hotel that offers guests an unforgettable experience just a stone's throw away from iconic attractions like Lakshman Temple and Ram Jhula. Surrounded by lush greenery and majestic mountains, this picturesque resort provides a tranquil escape for those seeking spiritual rejuvenation. Guests can indulge in various amenities such as a refreshing swimming pool, relaxing sauna, soothing spa treatments, and attentive concierge services.
We recently traveled to Rishikesh with a group of friends and were lucky to find this absolute gem of a hotel right near the Ganga. The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk to the river. The rooms were clean and tastefully done, and the view from the balcony was unbeatable. One of the highlights was simply sitting together in the balcony , soaking in the fresh air and panoramic views of the mountains. Whether it was enjoying morning tea with the sound of the river in the background or stargazing at night, this place made our trip truly special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene stay with friends, amazing scenery, and a true Rishikesh vibe.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Kamay The Grand Alova during our trip in May 2025. The property is well-maintained, comfortable, located conveniently and near ram jula in Rshikesh. I remember the day it was sunday and no Rikshaw came to hotel for railway station, but Hotel owner Personally helped by sending own car with driver and droped Rikshaw stand on time. Thank for help 🙏🏻

A Complete Failure of a Hotel This hotel stay was a complete disaster from start to finish. The most shocking issue was the complete lack of water in the bathroom, which made it impossible to even wash my hands, let alone take a shower. This is an unacceptable health and safety concern. The disappointment didn't stop there. The room was missing a doormat and towels, making it feel unhygienic and incomplete. To make things worse, the advertised meal services were a joke. There was no buffet available, and the kitchen had no dishes to serve for breakfast or dinner. This was a pathetic excuse for a hotel experience. I would strongly advise anyone to book elsewhere. Do not stay here. This hotel is a complete scam. Don’t waste your money. The reason I gave 1 star is because I don’t have option to post the review without it

I was thoroughly impressed with the level of cleanliness! Every corner of the space was spotless—from the floors to the ceilings, everything looked freshly cleaned and well-maintained. The air felt crisp, surfaces were dust-free, and even the tiniest details (like baseboards and behind furniture) were clearly given attention. Bathrooms and kitchens sparkled, with no signs of grime or buildup. It’s clear that cleanliness is a top priority here, and it made the entire experience feel comfortable, safe, and incredibly welcoming. Truly one of the cleanest places I’ve visited—highly recommended!

I stayed at Kamay The Grand Alova a few days ago. My experience at this hotel was very good. The food was very good and the mountain view from the hotel room was very nice. The staff is very helpful and the service is also very good. I thank Devendra ji for making our holiday a memorable one. I will definitely visit this hotel.

We recently stayed in Kamay the grand Alova Rishikesh and this is highly not recommended hotel.. Rooms and passages are smelly, bathroom wasn’t clean.. worst part is they don’t have restaurant services for people staying in the hotel.. My kid was crying out of hunger and they were not bothered and when asked they say food is available only if meal plan is selected during booking not otherwise and told us to order on Swiggy or Zomato Finally we had to run around looking for other hotels for food.. Highly not recommended..

stayed at this hotel recently and was very disappointed. The food quality was poor, especially the South Indian items like idli. We requested the manager to replace it with bread, but he responded very casually, as if it didn’t matter. There was no effort to help us, and we were simply told it's "self-service." It felt like they didn't care about guest satisfaction at all. Not recommended.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at this hotel. The property is clean, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable and relaxing environment. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff—especially Mr. Anup Sharma. Anup was extremely courteous, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. He went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met and made us feel genuinely welcomed. His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction made a big difference in our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great place to stay with excellent hospitality. Thank you, Anup Sharma, and the entire team for making our visit so memorable! ⸻ Let me know if you’d like it tailored for a specific platform (like Google, TripAdvisor, etc.) or with more personal experiences added

It was our amazing stay at this hotel. The food quality and taste was really nice but it takes time to come, need to improve on this. But the service people and staff were really nice and attentive. Specially Mr. Sourav who not only attended our table but also managed their staff nicely. We really like the way he smiles and knowledge about the local he recommends us to visit the Ganga Aarti which we really enjoyed. Nice hotel and staff must visit if you are at Rishikesh also open for walking at restaurant.

I recently stayed at Rishikesh Pride Hotel during my Rishikesh trip and had a truly pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering great comfort and value for money. The ambiance of the hotel reflects both simplicity and elegance, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day in Rishikesh. The only suggestion would be to improve the breakfast items—adding more variety would make the overall experience even better Special thanks to Manager Sagar, who was very polite, helpful, and professional. His warm hospitality added a personal touch to the stay and ensured everything went smoothly.

I have stayed for 2 days with 5 rooms booking for family. Rooms: i have given 2 stars for Rooms as rooms are small and windows are bloked with other building walls. there is no view from rooms. washrooms are also small. Location: location of hotel is in tapovan and situated at main road but enterance of hotel is narrow. it is far from city center and you will not find auto from this location. you have to walk for approx 1 KM to get auto. although taxi services are available. if you are with family and not able to use two wheeler than you have to some extra for taxi services. Service: staff is very cooperative. they try everything to resolve your issue. Food: food is ok, not so good, breakfast is not worthed. but you can find good options nearby. Overall: as in this price segment, hotel is overpriced, food is ok ok, breakfast is not good, location is good if you are small group. staff is supportive.

I have traveled a lot through India and had a truly exceptional experience here. The staff are very courteous and take care of every issue immediately. The food is delicious and inexpensive and served on time if you order in advance. A beautiful little hotel in a central location that I can only recommend.

Can 100% recommend to stay at this place. Its location is really central - many Cafés and restaurants in walking distance aswell as the beautiful riverside of Ganga. The rooms are nice and clean, food in their own restaurant is really tasty and prepared freshly and with love and the staff is super welcoming and caring. Initially me and my friend planned to stay for 4 nights and ended up staying 11 - so that already says enough. But one more thing needs to be mentioned: the morning yoga class (which is included in the rate for the room) is amazing! Sachin is teaching so skillfully - I appreciate the authenticity and simplicity of his classes and can’t wait to be back 🙏🏼

We found this gem via a blog on online and we’re so grateful we did. The rooms were nice and clean, quiet and they have hot showers which was a lovely change of pace after the stays before. They have yummy chai and free yoga 7-8, thank you Rudram for being so welcoming!

This review is long overdue! The location of this hotel is perfect right between upper and lower tapovan and its on a quiet street. However, the best part are the people who work here, I got sick and they brought me food/water and checked uo on me. They went out of their way and really helped me. I stayed here for 7 days and would stay here again. The yoga is also a huge plus!

Fantastic Stay at Rudram Hotel Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat in Rishikesh! We spent an unforgettable 10 days in Rishikesh, staying at the Rudram Hotel Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat, and we are absolutely delighted! From the moment we arrived, we felt that this place has an extraordinary, positive energy. The hotel is very pleasant and cozy, and the atmosphere is wonderfully conducive to relaxation. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always ensuring our satisfaction. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and quiet, which allowed us to completely disconnect from the city hustle and truly unwind. The restaurant serves delicious, fresh meals, prepared on the spot, which was very important to us. However, the biggest highlight of our stay was the daily yoga sessions with Sachin. This was absolutely the best start to every day! For us, it was an initiation into yoga, and it's the most wonderful memory we're taking home from India, held dear in our hearts. We highly recommend it! I also highly recommend the masseuse, who massaged me several times, putting so much good energy and heart into her work. Thank you for this wonderful time! 🙏 Namaste

Exceptional Experience at Rudram Hotel Yoga and Ayurvedic Retreat I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rudram Hotel Yoga and Ayurvedic Retreat in Rishikesh, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The true gem behind this retreat is its owner, Dinesh Singh, who embodies the spirit of hospitality and support. From the moment we arrived, Dinesh went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. His unconditional support and cooperation were evident in every aspect of our visit. When we needed a larger vehicle during our travels, he arranged it for us at a remarkably affordable price, which was hard to find elsewhere. What truly stood out, however, was his understanding and flexibility when we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency. Despite having booked for three days, he didn't charge us extra for the unused day, showcasing his genuine concern for his guests' well-being over commercial gain. The food at Rudram was amazing, and the staff were incredibly cooperative, adding to the warmth of our experience. Dinesh's courtesy and support made us feel extremely grateful and valued. For anyone looking for a genuine retreat experience in Rishikesh, I highly recommend Rudram Hotel Yoga and Ayurvedic Retreat, primarily for the exceptional service and heart of its owner, Dinesh Singh. His dedication to his guests' comfort and happiness is truly commendable. Recommendation: If you're seeking a retreat that offers more than just a place to stay but a genuinely supportive and caring environment, Rudram is the place to be.

Giving them 3 stars due to staff / service. Stayed here for one day. Room was nice, except the tv set top box was not recharged, so it wasn't working if you want to watch something at night time. The wifi is slow. The location on google maps takes you to the wrong lane, while actual hotel is one lane ahead of it which causes incoveniece as you have to turn the car on slopes. Car parking is small (6 cars approx), the staff is not so friendly, I found it okish behaviour. Food is on the average side, the breakfast had limited items. Overall, not worth the price. Only upside I found is, it's in the prime location, close to many shops, and laxman jhula(15 mins walk) but it was closed due to construction (may be closed for a while now) but the hotel guy told us we can visit it.

I stayed with my family for a night on the16th of May at Dream Inn Rishikesh & had a very pleasant stay. From the efficient checkin to our smooth checkout it was very good. I was very impressed with it's clean comfortable & large rooms. It was very relaxing to unwind at the end of a tiring day. It's situated in such a ideal location that it was easy to go wherever we wanted, either to the triveni sangam or the many julas or to the yoga retreats & nearby shopping. The entire staff are very friendly & accommodating. They are very helpful when asking for various suggestions about the places to go to. Would have loved to have made use of their spa but sadly due to time constraints I couldn't. Dining options are limited but feels like you are being fed at home. Rooms were comfortable. Food quality was decent. But the service and staff was absolutely pathetic. We paid for 5 guests but the amenities like toiletries, pillows and water/beverages for the 5th guest was made into a tussle, made the dealing a very unpleasant experience. There was no proper cot for the 5th guest which we had made a pre payment for in full, instead they provided a dharamshala-type mattress of a substandard quality. So all of this turned out to be a disappointing experience.
