Hotel
Aloha On The Ganges in Rishikesh is an upscale property offering vibrant rooms and apartments, along with three dining options, a spa, and yoga classes. Situated along the banks of the Ganges river, this resort provides a comfortable stay with amenities such as kitchenettes, spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms and balconies, and living rooms with attached bathrooms. Its prime location offers access to various activities and tourist sites nearby.
The location is serene and peaceful, right next to the Ganges. Close to the city and yet far. The garden area and the pool area is just beautiful with nice breeze and its well maintained. The service is exceptional with all staff very polite and professional. Room service was always prompt. The food was also the highlight whether at the ala carte open air dining or the buffet everything was made with love. All in all a wonderful experience, highly recommended.

The service was exceptional! The pool and views are very beautiful and the yoga class was nice. The spa was perfect! When we stayed, there were remodeling so it was noisy very close to the room. The room design was absolutely beautiful, however there was a very intense smell of mold mixed with intense perfume. The drainage had some issues and very bad smells came in through the bathroom. The lobby had a very intense perfume smell, it was hard to stay inside and breathe. Several of the common rooms had this issue.
Ana G — Google review
Wonderful team and great service overall. Food was excellent and well prepared. Superb view from the hotel- Always opt for Ganga view, it will make your stay worth. Aarti experience was great too. Nature walk experience was ok. Feedback on - 1. Rooms stay- AC was not working and mold smell was extremely high in all the rooms. One of the bathroom tap was also non functional. TV was non functional. 2. Kids activity area pricing should be relooked as the prices are too high even for small games.
Kavitt B — Google review
Our stay at Aloha on the Ganges was truly memorable. The location right on the Ganga is breathtaking, with peaceful views and a calming vibe all around. The staff was warm, courteous, and always ready to help. Food was delicious with a great spread, and the rooms were comfortable and well kept. The riverside ambience, especially during the evening, made the experience extra special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene and refreshing getaway in Rishikesh!"

Aloha offers the most serene experience of luxury and beauty all at once. The location is mind blowing. The staff is warm and welcoming. The best part was the food nice veriety menu excellent service (specially chef sanjaybhai ) . We stayed here for 2 nights enjoying well….specially ganga aarti at aloha
Mukesh P — Google review
Excellent kitchen staff. Food was great, but that’s that. You don’t need to waste your hard-earned money on their horrendous rooms and hospitality. The rooms kept stinking of sewage, toilet fittings were broken, water in the shower was muddy and ran either hot or cold, nothing in between. To top it off, the toiletries they provided had a toothbrush fully covered with mold. Ew.
Shivani G — Google review
Very bad service and amenities .. after paying such a hefty amount for 1 night the kids room amenities are not included in that even they are asking for charges for using there pool table.. my god I have never seen such bad service in any other resort.. so better to go for other resorts. Better than this and in less price….

A value for money is what is CHURNED out of a mid range / luxury property, mainly by the cohesion amongst teams led by Vandana. Alok ji does the Best with resources at his disposal to make your stay memorable with activities ranging from Durlabh Darshan, Ganga Aarti to folk dance performances by lead troupes of UK, on occasion of Igaas Bugwal 2025 And steal of the show for sure is Chef Sanjay Petwal ji, who truly leaves no stone un turned, be it at the Patio restaurant or the Dining hall. Custmisations suit individual palette , ofcourse within permissible limits, but delicious vegetarian delicacies including gulgule, rotana, Thekua - all served during hi tea to celebrate Budhi Diwali urf Igaas Bugwal 2025. Thank you Vandana ji for a memorable stay for a young Senior citizen who has been travelling since 1975, if not across the globe, atleast Kashmir to Kanyakumari and across international borders.

Hotel EllBee Ganga View is an upscale choice in Rishikesh, offering luxurious rooms with modern amenities and stunning views of Rajaji National Park. It's conveniently located just a short walk from the holy Ganges River. The hotel features a 24-hour front desk, free Wi-Fi in public areas, and a rooftop restaurant called The Sitting Elephant, which offers panoramic views of the hills and serves Indian, Continental, and Chinese cuisines.
It was awesome experience to stay in hotel EllBee ganga situated at the bank of holy river Ganga. The staff and team members are very humble and serves delicious food in breakfast lunch and dinner. Experience of Ganga Aarti from this hotel is next level and very convenient. Last but not least rooms are very neat and clean with all amenities. Thanks to all staff members of EllBee Ganga who made our stay memorable. Keep doing your best!! 😃👍

the location is quite good, if somewhat loud. the promenade along the Ganges is right across the street. triveni ghat can be reached by a few minutes walk. the nicest part of rishikesh however is up north, whereas the hotel is in the south. rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished. unfortunately they are not kept as well as one would wish. there were technical difficulties galore: TV could not be turned off, shower could not be turned off after first use and room locks you out once a day per default (we stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms; it happened 4 times). cleanliness leaves room for improvement. also the rooms were not cleaned every day. while I don't need a full clean, making the bed and replenishing the (slim to begin with) supply of toilet paper could be expected. also there is a rather inconsistent approach to sustainability that seems to be more of an excuse for cutting costs: they removed the fridge in the room, due to sustainability reasons, but it is completely fine that the cupboard interior light contact switch is disabled and therefore it is on 24/7. same with plastic packaging: no bottled water in the room, but individually packaged ketchup and even spices are fine.

Between September 11th and September 16th 2025, my fiancé and I stayed there. My rating for Room Service would be 10/10. Rakhi is a wonderful person who took great care of our room like it was her own. Your kindness is greatly appreciated, Rakhi.🤗 However, I would like to emphasize the quality of the food and the service they provide. there is one lady Pooja she is terrible and she doesnt even know her job. if I have 0 star I can give 0 star to her. There is a serious quality issue at this hotel, and you need to take this seriously. After eating their breakfast, I developed heavy diarrhea and got sick. It was only on our last day that my fiancé discovered a bug, and we realized it was caused by food that was fried in expired oil. I have not complained to the food inspector, but it is not safe for guests. Most of their guests were not hotel guests but they came only for breakfast. this means they are only getting this quality food.

EllBee Ganga View Aces in All- Hospitality, Amazing Staff and Incredible Food and Service. Stayed at the Hotel from 6th to 9th Oct and had one of the finest experiences in Rishikesh. Extremely well-trained and ever-helpful staff members, have the most amazing view of Ganga ji, walking distance from the best ghat in Rishikesh. The hotel that knows what it guests require and go out of the way to help you make it a memorable stay. Hot piping and tasty food was the icing on the cake during our stay. Special mention and Kudos to Karishma, Pooja and Ujwal!
Milauni P — Google review
Booked this hotel from MMT. Undoubtedly one of the best hotels i have stayed. The location is superb, walking distance to Triveni Ghat, with their own parking. Food and service was absolutely wonderful. Hi tea was complementary and they had so many options to choose from. We were even given complimentary front view bigger room. We had our toddler with us and they made sure we were provided with everything that we need for our return journey. We were given details of the Ganga Arti and we're guided by Mr Vijay who was so understanding and made sure we had best Arti experience. Ms Pooja from reception was very supportive and went extra way to make our stay blissful. We would like to thank Mr Vijay & Ms Pooja for your kindness. Now we know where to stay of we ever visit Rishikesh.
Kundan T — Google review
Sweet welcome and what a view from terrace! Great location and amazing service with exceptional support by staff Vijay and amazing hospitality by Ankita. Loved the timely support for aarti at triveni ghaat by Vijay and prompt help while our stay.
THAKUR A — Google review
It’s a 3-star property located about 4 km from the main tourist spot. The hotel rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is cooperative. However, the room tariff feels overpriced. The in-house restaurant menu is quite expensive — for example, a dosa costs ₹550 and a butter naan ₹210. It’s better to book only the room, as there’s a popular Rajasthani food outlet just 700 meters away offering authentic meals at reasonable prices.

It was great to stay again in Elibee by Ganga.. The staffs are always amazing and supportive.. The Ganga aarti Darshan is very near to the hotel and Resturant and Staff in Dharmendra is a great support he helped a lot and did packed breakfast for me in the morning which was great gesture will do visit again during our next visit to Rishikesh

Nestled in Pauri, Moustache Rishikesh Luxuria is a budget-friendly hostel offering basic dorms and private rooms. The property features a TV lounge, rooftop terrace, and an indoor pool for recreation. Guests can enjoy complimentary masala tea every evening and breakfast options each morning. With its strategic location near popular attractions like Triveni Ghat and Laxman Jhula, this hostel provides easy access to key landmarks.
I had a fantastic stay along with my friends. We booked the dorms and it was pretty good. Well kept and tidy. They've a common area with games - table tennis, cue sports, board games, etc. They even got a small pool. Their service is pretty great. Aashrita, their community manager was great. She quickly gave a 2 day itinerary to explore Rishikesh. Recommended cafes and ghats. She even took us for a chai at Triveni Ghat. She even coordinated our adventure activities.

We stayed at the Moustache Select which is the mid priced hotel attached to the more upscale Moustache Luxuria. The rooms were very nice with WiFi, TV and air conditioning. You have complete access to the pool, bar and restaurant at the adjacent Luxuria. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Saksham, the general manager is outstanding! He is very helpful and knowledgeable and keeps the hotel running smoothly! He can help you with any questions and speaks impeccable English.

I had an amazing experience at Moustache Luxuria, Rishikesh! The property is located in a beautiful and peaceful area perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature . A big thanks to Ashi Ma’am, the best hotel manager, for her great hospitality. She arranged our rafting trip with an expert guide, which was one of the highlights of the stay! The dormitory was super clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and all the other roommates were really nice and friendly. Everything about the stay was perfectly managed and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend Moustache Luxuria to anyone visiting Rishikesh for the comfort, the location, and the warm hospitality.
Vasu K — Google review
My recent stay at Moustache, Rishikesh, was quite disappointing. The rooms were in poor condition and it was not at all like the photos shown online. The washroom had a strong unpleasant smell, and there seemed to be no proper sanitization or upkeep of the room. The swimming pool was extremely dirty, with visible algae on the pool walls, making it completely unusable. Cleanliness and maintenance definitely need a lot of improvement. On the positive side, the cafeteria and kitchen staff were polite and helpful, though the breakfast buffet was quite average in taste and variety. Overall, the property does not live up to the online images or reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was below average and not worth the hype or price.
Shivani A — Google review
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel — everything from check-in to checkout was seamless. The staff was courteous, the rooms were spotless, and the overall ambiance was relaxing. A special thanks to Diya Jora for her exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. She truly made my experience memorable.
Altaf S — Google review
Moustache Rishikesh Luxuria is a wonderful place for travellers, especially for women travelling alone. It’s extremely safe and comfortable, with a very supportive and friendly staff. They provide detailed guidance about nearby tourist spots, making travel planning super easy. The property itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a great vibe. Overall, it feels genuinely safe and welcoming — a perfect stay for solo travellers or anyone looking for a relaxing experience in Rishikesh.
Nehal — Google review
The check-in process could’ve been smoother did not require three people checking ascent in an inefficient manner by improperly taking our documents and putting them into their personal cell phone. Using a scanner upon getting to the room we found there were electrical deficiencies with the wall socket having sparks, come out of it. The bed itself did not have a sheet. The bathroom did not even have the courtesy of putting a hand towel in there There i understand that a warm tropical environment and there we have an expectation that there will be bugs around, however, it was still not pleasant to see a cockroach crawling across the floor. However, the one woman at the front desk staff, I’m glad that she showed up upon check in because she’s in came in and told the 2 gentleman that to scan the rest of our documents versus putting our passport information into their personal phones, and she took over with that. I’m glad she was also there during checkout as she was extremely pleasant and handled everything efficiently. No left on the bed was an extremely nice touch. It’s just the process itself could’ve been much more screened and efficient, not to mention the breakfast. Was completely edible and disgusting, and we had to go off to offside to go eat breakfast. Thank you.

Good place to stay. Conveniently located in center so you can try nearby cafe and restaurants if you are tired of eating the restaurant food in hotel. Loved the room and service. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Hospitality was nice. I even tried their ayurvedic massage. It was super nice and very relaxing. Based on your requirements they change the pressure.

The resort features a restaurant, a 24-hour coffee shop, an Ayurvedic spa, and gym facilities with professional guidance. Guests can enjoy an open buffet with a variety of food options while taking in the breathtaking view of the flowing Ganges.
Fabulous place. The rooms and light and big. With a balcony facing Maa Ganga (at least we had) Close to everything. With pool right down at Maa Ganga. The staff is amazing. Very helpful, we had a wonderful guy (Pradeep) help us with laundry (so quick, clean) and the rooms. The restaurant has an amazing selection of food. And the Spa is great. Best place ❤️

The hotel location was superb, the food was tasty, the only thing lacking was the hospitality of the Hotel's staffs. Based on the services and facilities, I found the cost charged for the stay was very much on the higher side. The play zone was also not faciliated. It was pleasant to stay there but only the price was very much higher with comparison to the features of the hotel.

Had a wonderful brunch experience here! The menu is quite nice with plenty of options to choose from, everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was polite and fast, which made the experience even better. The location is perfect, near Laxman Jhula, and the place offers peaceful ambiance with great views.

A very comfortable luxury place, with excellent view of the Ganga and very helpful staff. The food at Tattva was also excellent. Location is a little far from the main part of Rishikesh, but Tapovan itself is worth an explore. The staff were kind and helpful, especially Pradeep.

Great place and location we (on our return stay we unfortunately ended up with a smelly bathroom but that is Asia and the staff could not do enough to help, breakfast was amazing and we had no problems in getting our (free) safe drinking water topped up over and over ps good laundry service too

My stay at The Divine Spa in Rishikesh with friends was truly memorable. Located right by the banks of the serene Ganga, the ambiance was peaceful and refreshing. GANGA KINARE - A Riverside Boutique Resort is a sophisticated riverfront hotel located in the entertainment district of Rishikesh. The upscale resort offers stunning views of the Ganges River and is conveniently situated near local attractions such as Triveni Ghat and Ram Jhula. Guests can indulge in relaxation at the full-service spa or enjoy modern amenities including a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and fitness center.
The location and hospitality at the hotel is awesome. We took a family room and it was very spacious and relaxing. The restaurant food was great! After a long flight from the US and a couple of days at Delhi, this place was a true reprieve. They gave us a guided tour to the Triveni ghat and the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I wish I had remembered his name to give him some due credit. They offer a free of charge yoga and meditation session in the morning (you have to inform them in advance the prior evening). We did the yoga session, and the instructor Yogita was simply awesome!! We will come to this hotel again in the future.
Biswanath B — Google review
I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel with a breathtaking view of the Ganga. The hotel has its own private Ganga ghat, which made the experience even more special. The highlight was definitely the restaurant, JAL & JALEBI—the food was exceptional! Every dish was bursting with flavor, and the setting by the river was perfect. A special mention goes to their representative, Vikas, who was incredibly humble and attentive. He made sure our stay was seamless and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Ganga while experiencing top-notch hospitality!

We had booked this place for an engagement function with high expectations, but unfortunately the arrangements were quite disappointing. Basic things like seating, decoration, and cleanliness were not managed properly. The staff seemed unorganized, and service was very slow, which caused unnecessary stress on such an important day. Despite repeated requests, issues were not addressed on time. Not recommended for any type of functions.
Gautam K — Google review
I stayed for 3 days in the Luxury Premium Room, which is the second-highest category they offer. Sharing my honest experience so others can be more informed before booking: ⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind 1. Don’t trust the sales staff blindly, especially Garima. I booked directly through their sales team instead of an online portal, and it turned out to be a mistake. 2. The reception number is unreliable — they often disconnect the call if they’re busy, without even asking why you called. There should definitely be more staff at the front desk. 3. Avoid rooms on the first floor — there’s zero privacy. A common gallery runs right outside the balcony, so anyone passing by can see inside. You’ll need to keep your curtains closed all the time. And if you forget to lock the balcony door, someone could easily enter. 4. Bring your own toiletries — the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided are of poor quality. 5. Room phones are mostly non-functional. You can only reach reception or room dining; other numbers are just printed there for show. 6. Housekeeping service is extremely poor. We requested basic things like coffee mugs, water bottles, and curry replacements multiple times, but no one bothered to deliver. 🌅 The Good Parts 1. The view is genuinely beautiful — that’s the highlight of the stay. 2. The property is small but scenic. It doesn’t really qualify as a resort, but you can still enjoy the surroundings. 3. They did change our room after complaints, but it wasted an entire day of our trip (and honestly, our money too). 4. Special mention to staff members Rajat Rana, Shikha, and Rohit — they were polite, supportive, and really made our stay more comfortable and pleasant despite the other issues. 5. Overall, the hotel looks nice, but the service and experience don’t justify the price. 6. If you’re getting the Luxury Premium Room for under ₹10,000, it’s a fair deal. Otherwise, I’d suggest checking out other properties nearby.

🌿 Review of Ganga Kinare – A Riverside Boutique Hotel, Rishikesh ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Our family had a wonderful stay at Ganga Kinare from 11th to 13th October 2025, and the experience was truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality of the staff made us feel extremely welcome. The reception team was warm, courteous, and efficient — making the check-in smooth and quick. They also helped us with all the details regarding our stay and made sure everything was perfectly arranged. A special mention to Himani from housekeeping, who went out of her way to ensure our comfort. She was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The cleanliness and upkeep of the room were excellent throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised and deeply touched by the beautiful room decoration arranged by the team for our daughter’s birthday celebration. It made the occasion truly special and memorable for our family — a gesture we will always cherish. The food at the resort was another highlight. We enjoyed the breakfast on both days and dinner at the in-house restaurant, and every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The buffet spread offered a good variety, catering to both local and continental tastes. The riverside dining experience added an extra charm to it. The location of the resort is serene and peaceful, right on the banks of the Ganga. The view from the property is breathtaking, and the overall ambience is calm, spiritual, and rejuvenating. Overall, Ganga Kinare provided us with a perfect family getaway — combining comfort, scenic beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Rishikesh, especially families looking for a memorable and relaxing stay. Thank you, Team Ganga Kinare, for making our daughter’s birthday and our family trip so special!

Our bathroom was clogged with hair and it filled the washroom with water, that tells us about cleanliness. Dont even wanna talk abouf breakfast service, can do beeter with options they provide. The rooms are really small. Had better expectations.

I was travelling with family and kids. They gave us room that had smoke smell and put air freshner and stopped accepting it. The problem was the staff think we are fools and reacted like its not their problem. The same managers were happy to assist non indians in the most polite way, but not Indians. Not acceptable, Would not recommend.

Sandy from housekeeping was absolutely wonderful. Extremely attentive service, impeccable care of the laundry and room servicing and cleanliness. A wonderful experience thanks to Sandy and his team!! Highest possible recommendation 🙏

Experience a laid-back stay at goSTOPS Rishikesh Tapovan, a casual hotel with comfortable rooms and a charming garden terrace. Located in Narendranagar, this hostel offers easy access to attractions like Parmarth Niketan and Lakshman Temple. The property provides amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, tour assistance, and laundry facilities. With 58 air-conditioned guestrooms, guests can enjoy staying connected with the free wireless internet access.
Pretty great place to stay at an affordable rate in Rishikesh. The place is quite close to all the major attractions. Rooms and dormitory is good. Bathrooms are clean. They have ample spaces to chill. Parking space for both the two wheelers and four wheelers are available. People from all over India come to stay here so you can meet them share your experience around the bornfire at night and share a drink or two. There is a cafe on premise that severs delicious food. All in all it was a great experience.

The stay was enjoyable, though the price was quite high due to the peak season. However, the excellent service and safe environment make it a great choice for solo travelers and couples alike! The only suggestion I have is to work on cleanliness. The rooms weren’t clean as per our expectations and price we paid and even mattress! Also, they shouldn’t have allowed alcohol in common area, as some boys were creating nuisance at new year party and it felt super cheap atmosphere considering it’s one of the best hostels in town!
Grishma I — Google review
Good location, However don't expect too much from rooms as this is a old property but justifies the price paid. Good love music on weekends. They have a TT and pool table and a good roof top sitting area. Overall liked the place. Good for friends to go with but will avoid going with family.
Deepak G — Google review
First of all, this place looks nothing like it's shown in the pictures. The property is terrible. But that's not the worst part, the worst part is the staff over here. I would like to talk about the manager to begin with. He is not the manager of a traveller's hostel, he is like a warden of a school/college hostel. He screams at guests, taunts them, fights with them if they are sitting and talking in the common room beyond 12 AM. After 12 AM even if people are sitting and talking, the staff would come and abruptly switch off all the lights and go. Except a few of them, all the staff members are extremely rude and mannerless, especially the manager. The only proper common area they have on the top floor, closes at 12 AM, and after that there is no place where people can sit, talk, or chill. According to the manager, the guests should go and sleep after that. Also, this is not a hostel, it's a hotel with some dorms where they let families, guests with babies, etc check-in. If you want to get the feel like being a student who is getting screamed at by his/her strict principal, go to this hostel. There is absolutely nothing good about this place. If the owner of this hostel is reading this review, please hire people who know how to behave and talk to guests in the hospitality industry and please incorporate the rules using some common sense.

Review for goSTOPS Tapovan Our stay at goSTOPS Tapovan was extremely disappointing. The rooms were very small and lacked cleanliness. The balcony was filthy, with monkey droppings scattered around, which made it unusable. The staff was unprofessional and rude during check-in. Despite booking a room with a window and a view as clearly mentioned on their website, we were initially given a room with no view. After raising the issue, they reluctantly provided the correct room, but only one of the two rooms we booked matched the description. The overall experience was unpleasant, with the lack of hygiene and poor service being major issues. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean stay.
Arpita J — Google review
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. The dorm was shockingly unhygienic—it felt like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The blankets and cushions were visibly dirty, stained, and smelled awful, making it impossible to feel comfortable. The dormitory itself was cramped and poorly ventilated, leading to a suffocating atmosphere. It was hard to breathe, and the lack of proper maintenance made it worse. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Definitely not worth the money or the discomfort!
Amit P — Google review
The place is lit. Art is on every wall, Dorms are maintained clean, they change the bedsheet and pillow cover after every checkout. They also have an open veranda to chill and sit in front of the bonfire. The best thing is they have a 24 hrs open kitchen and the food is awesome.
Adithya B — Google review
“I had a disappointing experience at goSTOPS. The rooms were not as clean as I expected, with dusty surfaces and stained linens, which made the stay uncomfortable. The noise levels were high because old vintage wall mounted AC, with little soundproofing, so it was hard to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the common areas felt overcrowded and chaotic, making it hard to relax or enjoy the advertised ‘community’ vibe. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive, and while they were polite, service was quite slow. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for a restful or well-maintained place to stay.”

I surprised my wife for her birthday and we stayed at Hotel Ishan it was the best decision! The Ganga view room was beautiful and really made the occasion special. The food here is tasty and we both loved the peaceful vibe. The spa session was so relaxing a perfect gift for her! The staff were all so kind, especially Anushka Ma’am and Suhasini Ma’am at the front desk who helped us with everything, from check-in to planning a small cake surprise. Also, it’s a pet friendly place which we loved Holi, the hotel’s calm dog, added such a homely touch. Highly recommend Hotel Ishan for anyone planning a special stay in Rishikesh!

First room I was in was newly renovated. I like the aesthetic of it. Other room was ok though the Ganga view was incredible. The highlight of my stay was the staff, namely Suhasini, Rahul, Anushka and Pankaj. They all are very nice and made my stay comfortable, fun and easy to explore. The location of the hotel is great as it is near to the ghat which was important to me. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing stay.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful from the comfortable rooms to the smooth service. The property is beautiful and the atmosphere welcoming. The staff was courteous , helpful all the time whenever we want any help. A special thanks to Anushka, whose genuine hospitality and attention to detail made our experience truly outstanding.

We had very good experience overall. It was easy to step out and explore cafés, small shops, and the riverbank on foot. Our room was simple but very clean, with fresh sheets and a balcony that gave us a nice view of the Ganga. Mornings were especially peaceful sitting there with tea. The staff were polite and approachable - Anushka at the reception always had a smile and was quick to guide us whenever we asked about nearby places. The atmosphere inside the hotel is calm, which was a welcome contrast to the busy streets outside. It's not a luxury property, but if you're looking for a safe, comfortable stay with a homely touch, this place works really well.
Aryansoniboy S — Google review
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Apart from the food quality, there was nothing good about my stay. I had booked a balcony room, but it was unusable due to 4-5 lizards constantly present in the area, making it uncomfortable to sit outside. Rooms are very small. Basic services like providing cutlery with food were also a hassle — I had to make 2-3 follow-up calls each time just to get it. Parking is another major issue. Guests are expected to park their vehicles 300-400 meters away from the hotel, and there are no valet services available. The rooms were not up to the mark and did not match the images shown during booking. Towels provided were not properly cleaned, which was very disappointing. Additionally, while the staff initially agreed to reimburse the parking charges, they created excuses at the time of checkout and refused to pay. After some back-and-forth, they eventually agreed, but the experience was unpleasant. Overall, a very disappointing stay.
MIS A — Google review
I have only incredible things to say about this Hotel. I actually ended up staying here for almost 3 weeks. I came thinking I was only going to be there for a few days, but the staff and room was so amazing that I continued to stay longer and longer. Everyone treated me incredibly well, going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Suhasni who runs the front desk is incredible at her job. Anytime I needed something, she made sure it was taken care of quickly and efficiently. She also always made me feel welcome every time I walked in the door. Pankaj who is in charge of the spa not only connected me with great spa services, but jumped into help anytime I needed anything else. It is clear that he wants to make everybody feel comfortable as possible and truly cares about the guests and his staff. This place treats guests like family. Next time I am in the area I will definitely stay here again. It’s honestly been one of the best Hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I travel quite a bit. One extra bonus is that The Amazing café next-door also delivers directly to your room. Honestly, everything was perfect!

Visited Orange Classic for a one-night stay. The room was spacious and filled with sunlight, making it very comfortable. Overall, everything was good. The car parking spot was a bit far, which might be inconvenient for some, but their support in carrying the luggage made it hassle-free. The lady at the reception was exceptionally talented—graceful, respectful to customers, and professional even in tricky situations. Had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it to everyone.

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Yog Vashishth. The property was neat and tidy, and the food at the Aviary Cafe was delicious. A special thanks to Ashish (receptionist) for his exceptional hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth and pleasant. My sister fell sick during our visit, Ashish personally went out to get medicines for her, which shows his genuine care and dedication toward guests. Overall it was a great stay.

Our stay at Hotel Yog Vashisth was truly pleasant and comfortable from start to finish. 1. Pre-stay Communication: The hotel staff were very responsive even before our stay began. They proactively informed us about a local car strike, which helped us plan our journey from Haridwar smoothly. 2. Check-in Experience: The front desk team was active and helpful. We received a warm welcome with bottled water as a welcome drink, and check-in was quick and easy. 3. Room Guidance & Service: A butler personally guided us to the allotted room and explained all the amenities in detail. He was polite and professional. The housekeeping staff also deserve appreciation — they were very professional and ensured the room was kept neat and well-maintained throughout the stay. 4. Room Quality: The room was spacious, clean, and well-arranged with a soft, comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern with new fittings and well-aligned amenities — only the shaving kit was missing. 5. Restaurant & Food: The in-house restaurant offered a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, including North & South Indian, Chinese, Italian, and Continental cuisines. The breakfast was excellent with several options. The manager, chef, and staff were very polite and accommodating, even customizing dishes as per our no-onion, no-garlic preference. 6. Location Advantage: The hotel’s location is perfect — near Parmarth Niketan and Gita Bhavan, with Ram Jhula and Janaki Setu just a 5–10 minute walk away. It’s peaceful yet conveniently close to the main attractions. *Conclusion:* Overall, Hotel Yog Vashisth offers excellent hospitality, clean and spacious rooms, great food, and a prime location. The professionalism of the entire staff, including the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant team, made our stay memorable. Highly recommended for a serene and satisfying stay in Rishikesh.

I had a bad experience at Hotel Yog Vashishth. The room was not well-ventilated and felt very suffocating. The AC didn’t work properly, and it got very uncomfortable, especially at night. The bedsheet was dirty and didn’t seem fresh. Room service was also poor and slow to respond. One major issue – if you book online, they give you the worst rooms. It felt like walk-in guests were treated better than those who booked in advance. Overall, the stay was disappointing and not worth the money. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel features a rooftop cafe, an in-house gourmet restaurant, and a yoga shala. Guests have described their experience as tranquil and have praised the comfortable rooms and spacious balconies. The hotel's central location provides easy access to various amenities such as restaurants, cafes, and transportation.
I had a fantastic experience at Punyah Residency. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Three yoga classes and a meditation class offered every day. The on-site restaurant had a wide variety of menu options and offered room service. The view from my room was more of a construction site than a mountain view, but I still enjoyed sitting on my balcony. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff and yoga instructors - they were welcoming, attentive, and kind. Highly recommend staying here!

I have no words to express our time here. It felt like home every day. I’ve been coming to Rishikesh for 3 years and Punyah is the best place I’ve stayed in. The location is perfect, the rooms, the cleanliness, but what makes it the most special is the stuff. Every employee there is a pure soul, always willing to help you, and to make your stay even better. I don’t want to talk too much about the FOOD because I could be hours. We were eating plant based food every day as per our dietary request and it was amazing. You know when you feel that food is made with love? Special thanks to Naresh and everyone there! I will be coming back every year. If you organize yoga retreats this is your place also! See you soon!!! Lots of love

I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful experience. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are clean, quiet, and have a lovely view from the balcony. The restaurant is open late and serves delicious food. I especially enjoyed the easy access to the yoga studio on the 4th floor, which offers great Ashtanga and Hatha classes. The location is also perfect—close to other restaurants, yoga schools, and the Ganga river. Highly recommended!

Worst Experience – Misleading and Disappointing Absolutely the worst experience. One of the staff members misled us by saying no other hotels were available nearby, just to manipulate us into staying here. The service was poor, the rooms were not clean, and overall it felt like a scam. Definitely not recommended. Please avoid this place if you want a peaceful and honest stay. It was raining heavily, and the staff person there told me that if I wanted to keep my bag, I would have to pay ₹100 per bag.

Terrible Experience – Not Recommended! I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The rooms were extremely unclean, with dust and dirt everywhere due to ongoing construction in the building. It felt unhygienic and uncomfortable from the start. The hotel staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. They lacked basic courtesy and were unwilling to assist with even simple requests. During checkout, they outright refused to help carry luggage from the 2nd floor to the ground floor, which was highly inconvenient. Basic amenities were also missing—no towels were provided in the room, and the ceiling light in the washroom was missing at the time of check-in, making the stay even more unpleasant. Overall, this hotel is not worth the money. There are definitely better options available—avoid this one!

Nestled in the serene surroundings of Rishikesh, Terrakotta Rishikesh is a charming hotel that perfectly blends comfort with a laid-back atmosphere. Just 200 meters from the renowned Patanjali International Yoga Foundation and 29 km from Mansa Devi Temple, this three-star accommodation features beautifully decorated rooms that exude warmth and coziness. The hotel's design incorporates locally made textiles, adding an authentic touch to your stay.
Warm Hospitality, Great Location & Perfect for Families We had a truly delightful stay at Terrakotta, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home—warm, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Whether it was organizing meals for our little ones or assisting with local tips, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were spacious, tastefully done, and very well maintained. We were traveling with two small kids, and the staff was incredibly accommodating—making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. It’s often hard to find places that balance boutique charm with true family-friendliness, but Terrakotta really nails it. One of the highlights was the location—just a short walk from the local market. It was so convenient to step out for a stroll or grab essentials without having to plan a full outing. Despite being close to the market, the hotel still felt peaceful and tucked away, offering a perfect blend of accessibility and relaxation. The food was excellent too—fresh, flavorful, and served with care. We ended up dining at the property more often than we planned, simply because it was so good. All in all, Terrakotta is a gem—beautifully run, wonderfully staffed, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend it for couples, families, or anyone looking for a warm and memorable boutique stay.

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could ask for during a stay. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional hospitality. A special mention goes to Janardhan, whose warm and polite demeanor made a lasting impression. He was consistently helpful, attentive, and went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect during my stay. His friendly approach and professionalism added a personal touch that made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay paired with outstanding service. I will definitely return!

Terrakotta is one of the best hotel with European theme style. Reception staff is humble and helping in nature. They will provide every details about sight seeing activities and ways to commute via Bike rent or taxi. Food and drinks are amazing. They have attentive staff and service is at its best. Hotel is located at Tapovan in between the mountains and view from the balcony is awesome. At last, Thank You Terrakotta & Staff for hospitality and making our trip memorable.
Veenus M — Google review
Firstly, the room is big enough for a couple and even if they have a child with them, it is big enough. Secondly, the hotel has a good environment and is well maintained. Thirdly, there is a yoga hall on the fourth floor, where there is a lot of space to move around and walk around and the view is also good. The food is also good. For me sleeping in a good room is important because if you don't have a good sleep then your day doesn't go well. Could be bit expensive for some people those who don’t want to spend money. But try to spend some money on rooms and nice hotel. Good sleep makes the day good.

Loved our time at Terrakotta! We were here for a yoga training and couldn’t have asked for a better setting—the yoga hall was spacious and well-equipped. The staff took such great care of us, always kind and attentive. Breakfast each morning was a highlight—plentiful, wholesome, and super tasty!

I highly recommend Terrakotta hotel to anyone traveling to Rishikesh! 1. Convenient location close to the bridge/water taxi and market/places to eat 2. Amazing personnel ready to help with any request. Front desk was really helpful and they speak good English. They text you ahead of time and assist in finding the place. I especially appreciate big complimentary bottles of water and additional refill free of charge! 3. Breakfast was really good. Variety of food - Indian food, eggs/omelets, fruit/vegetables, pastry, yogurt, etc. Everything was tasty, beautiful presentation and most importantly place was clean and you can eat there with trust! 4. Room was exceptional! Clean, spacious, electric kettle and refrigerator (working no problem), very nice Ayurvedic toiletries, safe. 5. My favorite yoga room! Beautiful and clean, you can use their props, if you like to practice by yourself. There’s a yoga studio right next door so you can also take a class there for 300 rupees, I recommend this studio.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel – so much so that we chose to stay here twice in a row. The hotel is new, spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly cozy. All the textiles are locally made and tastefully chosen, adding a unique charm to the space. The staff is exceptionally kind and responsive, always going out of their way to solve any issue quickly and efficiently. One remarkable example: after we left the hotel, we realized we had forgotten our headphones in a taxi arranged by the hotel. We contacted the staff, and they not only tracked them down but also had them delivered to our next hotel. The breakfasts are delicious, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the location is perfect—just a short walk from the sacred Ganges River. This is truly our favorite hotel in Rishikesh, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to our friends.

Very poor untidy rooms everything is bad. I can say all the good reviews are fake.

The Hotel Shanti Residency is a nice hotel with reasonable price. The canteen is not functioning so you have to get food from outside. Rest of the things were fine.
The view was great and so was the food, but the thing that really made my whole trip awesome was the way the people treated the guests. I felt so at home and happy. They always did their best to satisfy their guests. I am so so so glad i booked my room their. Thankyou to the staff and everyone to make our trip. Would definitely come back. :)

It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel ambience was awesome. Hospitality is very nice. Staff is very well mannered & cheerful. The rooms are spacious and food served delicious. ❤️ Awesome place to stay. Will definitely recommend to stay here. Overall, we loved the hotel Trip typeHoliday Rooms 5.0 Service 5.0 Location 4.0

Location of hotel is excellent just on banks of Ganga. Rooms facing Ganga river are very good. Food is also ok but services are below average..hotel staff is not professional and have a cheap behavior. Overall recommend for views and location.
MAYUR T — Google review
Not exactly a hotel. Looks more like boys hostel or at best bachelor's accommodation - everything is in finished, temporary feel to it. I have been to many hotels, but for the first time I found plastic chairs and table. In.the. room. UNPARDONABLE. Excellent location on the banks of the Ganges but that's it. Nothing to recommend. Functional small restaurant. Quick service. Polite stuff will do everything to make your stay comfortable. Full marks to them. Expensive in terms of what it offers. Food is extra rich, single menu breakfast.
Dhrubajyoti B — Google review
This hotel is on AsthaPath. A good view of river is always a treat to have Anand of. There is peace too. The restaurant is though hygienic and staff are friendly. The scenic river side is the most beautiful part. Room service was efficient and satisfactory. Kitchen timings are limited but that does not cause serious truoble.
Sameer P — Google review
It is a nice and clean hotel on the bank of Ganga ji. Staff is very co operating, food is good (not that much variety), prefer river view room. One important thing to note is that the location of hotel is near sabji mandi gate but in Google map it shows near AIIMS. So before reaching AIIMS see on left it will your hotel and on right sabji mandi gate. Thanks for reading. Enjoy your trip
Shakti C — Google review
Very nice comfortable simple place. It's right by the Ganga and gives a beautiful view to the different ghats. The food was served hot and it was delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It was a decent and good stay.
Shilpa P — Google review
Most pathetic hotel in entire Rishikesh area, if you want to spoil your Vacation & want restless sleep, please select this hotel. Couples be cautious, rooms have no privacy at all. Don't expect anything better then a village lodge & by mistake don't try their food. Same location & better infrastructure available in less then half of the price.

If you're looking for a place to stay in the vicinity of Ram Jhula, look no further than Tapovan Cottage. This unpretentious 3-star accommodation has panoramic views of the towering mountains and premium amenities in economic pricing. Whether you're just passing through or want to make it your home for a while, Tapovan Cottage will make you feel right at home.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Tapovan Cottage, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff went out of their way to ensure that I felt comfortable and well taken care of. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The decor was charming and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere the moment I walked in. The location is perfect—peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area while having a quiet retreat to return to. I highly recommend Hotel Tapovan to anyone visiting the area. Whether you're here for business or leisure, it’s the perfect place to stay for comfort, quality service, and a memorable experience. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I stayed at Hotel Tapovan Cottages in Rishikesh and it served its purpose as a simple place to sleep. The room was basic but clean. The staff were friendly, helpful with directions. They send their staff to the main road to show the direction. The best part about this hotel was probably its affordability and quiet atmosphere. If you're not looking for luxury and need a straightforward place to stay, this hotel is worth considering. Remember - it's 300 meters upward from the main road.

Very Bad, worst, Don't visit this place, other 3-5 stars reviews are fake, extreme expensive food, and taste like non sense, very bad. Complex names costs ₹320 and the food is 3/4 part of small bread with tomatoes upon it. They only fill tomatoes in all dishes.
The J — Google review
Had a chance to stay at this hotel with family. I have to say the owner/employees are really helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean and serviced with all needed amenities. The balcony and rooftop views of Tapovan are amazing! Would love to stay at this cottage again on the next trip.
Jasvit T — Google review
People who really want to stay a little bit far from rishikesh traffic must stay here. It's hardly 5 minutes walking distance and accessed by car too from the national highway in tapovan. Nice management by Mr. Abhishek. I have been around 3 times over here.
Chandan K — Google review
The best hotel i ever visited definitely i will visit again the owner abhishek is very helpful.
Dinesh K — Google review
Hotel is on a bit high location and have an issue of parking however if u don't have ur own car it will feel like trekking to reach from main road to hotel. Premium rooms of this property has a beautiful view from balcony & we loved it. Food was kinda okay but not that upto the mark. Hotel needs alot of cleanliness in rooms as well as in property as well. Staff was kinda nice & polite. Overall good experience to be there. Thanx for serving us.

Uptown place, cafes, pubs , yoga etc. This place is against the essence of rishikesh. This is completely dedicated to tourists - national and international. Here one can find booze, foreign life related services and products. Forigners, in Rishikesh, are concentrated in this portion and around. There is infinite and indefinite non stop growth of apartments and buildings. People rent these apartme to tourists. It is like a gurgaon in rishikesh. Seems like bulidings want to overtower mountains. Most people here come to enjoy and drink. This place offers booze and yoga both to customers and both can exist together. I have felt this place is not like rishikesh. Note- If you have come for aatmik, spiritual purposes than this place should be avoided.
