e had a lovely time! The vegetable momos and rice noodles were absolutely delicious—flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the kombucha and a smoothie, which were okay but could be improved. The paneer chilly and the fruit pancake rounded off the meal nicely. Overall, a cozy and enjoyable experience with good food and great vibes.

We had the grill tofu salad, little Buddha special and Mexican breakfast. The food was so good and freshly served!! We enjoyed the view to the Ganga River and the atmosphere. The stuff was so nice to us

The cafe is situated at a very scenic point from where the view of Ganga is beautiful. However, our experience of the cafe with regards to food and service was not great. We ordered their Falafel all, tomato soup, momos and brownie with ice cream. Brownie and soup were good but the other 2 were disappointing. The service as well wasn’t great as we had to repeatedly ask for our orders including water bottles.

For expereince you can visit this place but its just one time visit, you wont get good parking space and the entry is congested. I feel it was more hyped on the internet than it acutally deserves. The food was average, only thing that stands out is the view from this cafe. Bring your own plates if you are coming with few of your freinds as they will not bring the plate to serve until you ask them, they just bring the food and no plates to serve among the people you are with.

Nice view,seatings with cushions where you can relax and eat but in summers they need to install more fans to make areas comfortable. Food is better than average and service is fine. It's a busy place bcz of the ambience. Overall good.

Loved the cool breeze and the unique vibe of the place — seating is divided across two / three floors with floor mattresses on upper floor, giving it a cozy, laid-back feel. The view is refreshing and adds to the chill atmosphere. We ordered the Special Freedom Pizza, Coffee Latte, Falafel Platter, and a Choco-Berry Dessert. While the food was average in taste, the pricing is economical, making it a budget-friendly hangout spot.

My love for this place is eternal. They offer a wide variety of options to choose from. Food is good, the views are killer. Freedom cafe is clearly a must to do when in Rishikesh. Trust me you cannot miss this. There are different seating arrangements available, and the service staff is really courteous.

There is a queue to get the seat in season time and 25-30 mins waiting time for your food once you order it so keep the time in mind before going We ordered a paneer shintzel and quesadilla and also a pasta and which were decent not very great. Apart from the good Ganga view, everything else about this café was disappointing. The food quality was terrible — the potato wedges were clearly fried in old, dirty oil and looked stale. Every dish we ordered tasted bad and seemed hastily prepared. The service was equally poor; the staff were rude, unprofessional, and showed no sense of hospitality. If you’re going there just to enjoy a cup of coffee with a nice view, that’s fine. But if you’re expecting a good meal or pleasant service, I’d strongly recommend skipping this place. Definitely not worth the visit.

The Om Freedom Café has worked hard to create a reliable brand. It's justly famous. Its riverside location, of course, does half the job. Its designers and the kitchen have done the rest. The seating in 6 different spaces at different levels, has 180°magical river, mountain and Laxman Jhula views. Two of the levels literally hang over the river. The menu is truly vast and has backpacker favourites like porridge and pancakes, Italian, Chinese, Israeli, Continental and Indian cuisine. Not to forget the bakery counter. The mandatory banoffee pie is there as well as Hello to the Queen. While partaking of Banofee Pie with Icecream, I was kept entertained, not just by the riverside scenes of boats and raftings, but also a pesky bunch of langurs, stealing food from diners! It was hilarious.

We went for dinner here on a Friday and luckily found a place to sit without waiting. Food was really nice and we enjoyed all the dishes especially the Shahi Paneer and their special Biryani. Those who don't like spiciness please avoid their mushroom dish in main course. Service was a bit delayed but it's justified as the place was full. And they have indoor as well as outdoor seating. This place is amazing for a warm and nourishing meal. The food was delicious, healthy & they had gluten free options. Recently visited this cafe in Tapovan Rishikesh. The location is beautiful,overlooking the mountains and it's serene beauty. The place is peaceful and spacious , and has option of outdoor sitting as well. We ordered Granola mixed fruit with milk and Sandwiches, both were scrumptious. I've been a few places, and this is a good one. Clean kitchen, my special order (big hummus with big salad only) was the best order in three weeks. Peaceful place, good atmosphere, very friendly staff, amazing view and location right next to Ganges, very good prices. I don't know what more to ask for. This is also where Yogi is to be too.

Amazing way to start your morning with masala omlet, butter toast and Chai. The chai here is flavourful with perfect ganga view. I'm coming here after several years and it still has maintained the taste. Would request the owner to include bun maska in their menu 😋 if possible.

Had dinner at “Cafe Karma” recently, and it’s such a lovely little spot. The place has a charming, rustic feel with old-school artifacts and simple decor that make it super cozy. Surrounded by greenery and the soothing sound of a water stream, it’s the kind of place where you can really unwind—great for a peaceful dinner or just some quality time. One of the best parts? They welcomed my “fur baby” with open arms and even treated him kindly—major brownie points for being pet-friendly! The staff were polite, friendly, and quick to respond, which definitely added to the overall good vibe. We ordered the dal and handi paneer. The food was alright—not amazing, but decent enough. Given the chill atmosphere and reasonable prices, I didn’t mind. I have made this cafe a regular spot that I come to while I’ve been living in Rishikesh. Their staff is very friendly and the food is good quality and very well priced. They have a lovely outdoor seating area where it is quiet despite the cafe being right off the main road. Highly recommend!

Giving a detail review: The cafe has antique objects and old seats. They've used all the old objects in a smart way to decorate the restaurant. 1. Staff are polite and friendly. 2. Food was hot and served great. 3. We had ordered starters including soups and noodles. The quality and the taste was good 4. May be due to covid the place was not maintained well. 5. One of the best parts of Rishikesh trip was discovering this cafe. The seating is simply soft comfortable cushions on the floor with wooden tables in front of you. The lights, decor and the bamboo thatched roof give off an entirely different vibe. The best part is the view of Ganga and the beautiful sunset view. The food is delicious, especially the pizzas are one of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to visit again.

The food is tasty, organic and wholesome; view is beautiful; atmosphere is calming and nice. The team is super friendly, attentive and supportive. This places easily serves the best coffee in Rishikesh. We went there everyday for coffee and food, but explored other cafes for food as well. The food here is delicious and healthy, the ambience is welcoming, there is a small selection of books outside to read from. The space indoors is small so on a hot day make sure to get there before peak hours to find the higher tables to sit on.

A café unlike any other I've seen. Located in a cul-de-sac in a quiet part of town, it's in a large, lush garden filled with trees, bushes and lawns. There's a small, indoor dining space, but few people prefer that. The vast majority sprawl on tables across the garden in a variety of different seating. The menu is vast and eclectic, strong on vegan preferences but also serves eggs and omelettes. The americano I ordered was really good coffee. The vegan porridge bowl I'd for breakfast was good enough for two. The helpings are really large. The food is at good value-for-money prices. It's a great place to linger from breakfast to dinner.

Had a really nice brunch early lunch here, quiet, good atmosphere. All the food was great, highly recommend the banana Nutella pancakes, smoothie bowl, hummus, Avacado sandwich! One of the best Chinese cuisine available in city which is comparable to all major cities in country. Even starters like dahi ke Sholay was good. Quantity is really good. Dining space is plenty with a small garden like area with a swing where kids can enjoy.

You're really paying for the view! In words of a wise person: if you're there for views, get a drink and sip the beauty. Otherwise if you're for food, get food some place else. A bill of whopping 1700 for Paneer + Naan + Pakoda. All mediocre at best. Their drinks however (we tried the Blackcurrant shake) are good.

This was our last meal here in rishikesh, couldn't have been better way to say adieu to ganga ji with a view, best service and amazing food here. We ordered dahi k sholey which I think were best I've ever had, the coffee was also amazing, we had Alfredo pasta and Schezwan fried rice which were also amazing. The dessert was rabdi kulfi which was truly mouth watering. Had a good time and staff is also very polite and kind.

Visited The Arches Café for breakfast. It was less crowded and has a great view right next to Laxman Jhula (currently under renovation). Once it reopens, this café will be a perfect viewpoint for the bridge and the Ganga. Tried the grilled sandwich and croissant, both were average, but the Americano and cold coffee were good. Worth visiting for decent food and the beautiful river view.

I had an amazing time at Arches Cafe. I spent the whole morning there reading, and the environment was quiet and relaxing. I tried a cookie, pancakes, and coffee — everything was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable as well; Yogesh Goud took care of me the whole time and was always kind and attentive. Arches is a lovely café with a beautiful view of the Ganga. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. Raul was kind enough to recommend some dishes - the Punjabi Chole was really tasty and perfectly spiced as per my taste (I asked for medium spice). The breakfast pancakes are tasty.

Only recent trip to Rishikesh I visited The arches by Salvus. On day one I went at 10:30pm but they had closed the last order. The vibe and look from outside is beautiful. Then on the second day I went for lunch as I had to head back after that. The vibe and environment in the day is not that pleasing. In the scorching heat the place is hot, AC don't work that well. But the food and the presentation is good. I had ordered mezze platter, hakka noodles and stuffed tandoori paneer. Mezze Platter - 5/5 Hakka noodles - 3/5 Stuffed Paneer - 3/5 My sister ordered brownie shake and rated 4/5 I ordered coconut cooler with mint - 5/5 It is a beautiful place and I would love to visit in the evening next time. One con is the service - you will have to wait for 35-45 min

We stumbled upon this cozy café right outside our hotel and thought of giving it a try. The ambiance is bee fantasy based! Lovely to step in. Some items are unavailable in the menu. We tried the Trio Bruschetta and Arugula Sandwich. Both were just yummy and it was a delicious breakfast for us. Portion size is great. One disheartening thing is we saw full size cakes being thrown in the bin. If this can be managed through effective handling of cooking only necessary items or giving away to the poor, it can make a big difference

First of all, I have to say—this is a very impressive café with a great vibe and a well-curated menu. The presentation and quality of food are top-notch! However, I did notice that the cooler drink options, like the apple lemonade and a few others, are quite limited. It would be great to see a wider variety in that section. Also, the portion size of these cooler drinks feels a bit too small to truly quench the thirst, especially on a warm day. It would be really helpful if you could offer different size options—like small, medium, and large—or at least provide a clear size distinction when ordering. That way, customers can choose based on their preference and know exactly what to expect. Looking forward to seeing how this café continues to grow—it definitely has a lot of potential!

Honey hut gives different vibes and different taste. Ambience was amazing. Food and service is perfect. They use honey rather thn suger in drinks that make them special.

This was the CUTEST little spot! The staff was so nice and the food and drinks were really good. I also love how they support the bees and create great products made from the bees! Such a bright and uplifting space as well. Would absolutely recommend!

Had a good time at Chat Sang Cafe…The food was good and the coffee was good too..The place was a bit crowded, so the service was a little slow. One thing I couldn’t ignore was how the staff seemed to give more attention to foreigners than Indian customers..While I understand it’s a tourist-friendly spot, I believe every customer deserves equal attention… Overall, it was good..Worth a visit, just hoping for more balanced service next time…

Just checked out ChatSang Café and honestly loved the vibe! It’s a little noisy but has such a fun crowd and good food. I tried the Cold Coffee with Vanilla Ice Cream and the Red Kidney Bean Burger, it was super tasty. My coffee wasn’t dark enough at first, but when I mentioned it, they happily fixed it for me, which was nice. Only thing is, the service is slow since they take time to prepare the food. But if you don’t mind waiting, the place is totally worth it!

If you’re an Indian you’re not welcomed here. They focus on foreigners more than tourists of their own country I realised this when I had to wait for my coffee at-least 30 mins and the guy was making coffee infront of me, he served all the foreigners who came after us. I had to ask twice before he could even start making my order! Food was very average and it’s on the main road without and doors, so was super chaotic and noisy

I ordered hummus and pita along with Margherita pizza. Hummus tasted sour, like old and pita was also too fermented. Pizza was okayish, no flavours as such. I didn't like paying 450 rs. for the food. Only the atmosphere and location is good.

Another cafe with a view right next to Beatles cafe, this one has amazing vibes as well. The breakfast is amazing, the hummus is decent as well but would not say the same about pita bread. The views are nice and seating is great with multiple options available. The service is a bit slow that's the only downside but can choose this one if you want ground seating and good parathas.

Had a amazing experience there with my friends. We had recently come back from a trek and were celebrating a birthday as well our completion on the trek. A really beautiful cafe , thought a bit hard to find it was very nice with a pleasant atmosphere and the singer there had an amazing voice and vibe as well. Been to Tat as it’s highly recommended, it truly has the best view, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Went for breakfast and again for dinner the same day, daytime for the view and evening for the live music. Food is good, but it gets crowded, so go early in the evening if you want outdoor seating. A must-visit in Rishikesh.

We found the food very tasty, and enjoyed having continental food, a much needed change from Indian cuisine. There was a cool vibe the moment we entered for some dinner, with party tunes! However, although it is the perfect place for a chilled meal, the service is average, and one of us had to wait roughly 15 mins for a drink. We also had to ask for more chips after getting a meagre portion. One of the most unique things about the restaurant is the fantastic view you get of the river Ganga, and lush greenery!

Had classic tali. I felt quantity of curry and dhal was very small for the price. But the staff were helpful in getting me some extra dhal when I requested as I had one roti left. I felt like the roti was a bit chewy. Overall not a bad experience.

Disappointed with the Chef's culinary skills. We ordered 'Chilli Basil Noodles', we received salty chowmien noodles. Ordered 'Greek Salad' specifically asking for feta cheese, we received an over-sour-salty marinated salad plate with salted cottage cheese, rendering it inedible. The only satisfying treats we experienced here were the fresh juices and the alfonso mango ice cream - a must try - backdropped by a beautiful view of the hills and ganga. Special thanks to Mr Manoj and his server team for trying their hospitable best.

One of the best cafes in rishikesh, at least in terms of taste and service. The ambience is simple and elegant and is not fancy like some other cafes but pretty good for a simple meal. The staff is also very hospitable. Rates are relatively on the pricier side. Pizza, sandwiches and desserts, everything we tried was good.

I entered here just to have one hot chocolate. The outdoor and indoor maintained clean. I liked the ambience of colorful bottles, fresh baked and coffee preparations. “Amazing Croissant & Espresso!” Stopped by Divine Cafe & Bakery during my trip to Rishikesh, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered a croissant 🥐 and an espresso ☕️, and both were absolutely perfect. This is the place you must go to. This is not a hidden gem, but definitely underrated because there’s no hype and spiritual “branding”. This cafe is air conditioned. That’s what you need after a walk in the hot sun in Lakshman jhula area.

This is the one place in Rishikesh where good food meets wonderful ambiance to result in a peaceful culinary experience. We ordered blueberry cheese cake, chocolate coffee cake, and a choco muffin. The pastries were delicious and well made. The muffin was also good but could have been much better at that price. Later we also ordered two lattes which was equally good. For two people we paid around 1400 which is a bit pricy for many people including us. But we were so frustrated from the food we have had so far at our stay and other cafes that we coulpd justify the price for the experience. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Tapovan atleast once and more if your budget allows.

Three of us - from Bangalore and Delhi - went on a Saturday evening for dinner. We sat in the inner hut. The ambience is nice with a few musical instruments for us to try our hands on. We ordered a Bruschetta, chilly paneer and a tofu sizzler. Accompanied by a lemon ice tea and fresh lime soda. All of these were great and are recommended. The staff was prompt and helpful. Visited this place on my visit to Laxman Jhula. The atmosphere was chill and the staff was friendly too.We ordered Burger, Pizza and Cold Coffee. Burger was amazing, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. The pizza was delivered piping hot but did not serve upto our expectations. The cheese released all its oil leaving the pizza extremely dry and unpleasant to eat. Coffee was decent.

Fell in love with this place during my stay in Rishikesh. Visited multiple times. All of their dishes are satvik and ayurvedic. The ambience is perfect with a view of Ganga ji flowing right in front of you. There's the serene sound of the river and live music playing in the restaurant in the evening.

Bhumi Café in Rishikesh is an absolute gem with a serene, laid-back vibe. Anna's Mess is easily the best South Indian cuisine restaurant in town. It's aptly named. It's a mess, you sit, eat and go. Not a café, so no need to linger. Still, it's pretty. The dining space is in three parts, an indoor space for chilly days, a gazebo-like covered space with open sides and a gravel courtyard with potted plants. The beverages maybe pricey, but the food is good value-for-money in pricey Tapovan. It delivers on quality. I'd in mind Ragi Mysuru Dosa, but I asked for Rava by mistake, told there was none, I opted for the Masala Dosa Combo. It was a good choice. The dosa and idli came with three kinds of chutney and sambhar, in reasonably quick time. The food was delicious. The only thing I'll fault is the quantity of the pineapple kesari. Delicious but just a tablespoonful 😔 So, what could they do better, a maitre'd for sure, who could tell you if there's a table available; then the gravel-stone garden courtyard, could do with a lot of tidying up.

I had been there on 2 different days cuz the food was so good! Me being a South Indian, I felt like I was at home! The dosa, the chutneys so authentic and the Kuthu Parota I had was very very amazing! I mean even though its a veg variant still it was so so good!

The first thing the menu-it was surprisingly small, which can sometimes be a sign of a kitchen that specializes in a few excellent dishes. However, this wasn't the case. The quality of the food was simply not up to standard. The dishes we ordered lacked flavor and seemed to be prepared without much care . This is a very fascinating cafè. The french fries were delicious and crispy. The burger was just like the one in McDonald's advertisement. The pizza was superb and the sandwich tasted wonderful. For the people who wants to seat inside rather than open area, there is also option for that. The area of the cafe is great , you can easily walk and relax wherever you want. There are charging points which are perfect for people who want to work from a cafe. If you go downstairs, you can walk on a beautiful marine drive with aesthetic street light , which gives the feeling of walking on a foreign street. The food service is also amazing, with a variety of options. I would recommend you to go in evening or in afternoon if the weather is perfect because if you want to seat in open area , you may feel hot in sunlight although there are umbrella. Note: Currently this cafe is closed due to some reasons, before going there kindly check the opening hours on map which they regularly update Overall it will be an amazing experience, while I explored it, I just got only one chance to go there and after that it was temporarily closed 😐.

What should I say, One fine-day after almost 2 weeks since my Rishikesh Trip. I was still travelling in Goa and there is one good cafe in South Goa named CanTine and I bought Banana bread in the morning. And the bread was so slaggy and wet. I was not convinced and cannot able to forget how good the “Chocolate Banana cake” I had and it reminds this shop!! That much Good this shop is :) Wonderful and Should be known to all!! Hidden gem 💎

I’ve been coming to this café for the past month while doing a yoga course, and I absolutely love it!! The vibe is so calm and peaceful, the owners are wonderfully welcoming and kind, and the food is healthy and really delicious. It’s a super comfortable spot to relax. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely, cozy cafe.

This was my go to place during my month in Rishikesh. By far, one of the most comfortable, friendly and quality places in the area. Everything on the menu is delicious, the gentlemen that work there are fantastic, and you might even get to pet a cow while you’re there🐮 Definitely go here!

Two stars... One for the view and one for the waiter who is friendly but totally incapable. Sabic Lafa... Hummus with loads of water in it but without any taste, eggplants somehow roasted in butter, french fries the worst ever with a certain raw taste,, a boiled egg instead of an omlet and roti instead of pita according to the menue and "olives" came as one olive cut in five pieces... Didn't mind the small portion as it was simply awful. Second dish was Matar Mushroom. Didn't want it spicy, got it sweet! Definitely one of the "never ever places"

Good service, with a brilliant view of the Laxman Jhula. Sunset is just gorgeous. Pretty affordable prices and they let you sit for however long you want without bothering you, which is a huge plus for me.

Nothing and I repeat nothing can go wrong with this place. Good food, very helpful staff and an unmatched view of Laxman Jhula Only con was the rate of food offered but given the fact that it is at one of the most famous tourist destinations of Rishikesh it's still justified.

We came here for breakfast after arriving from a 12 hour overnight bus ride. We received the most welcoming introduction to Rishikesh and they were happy for us to leave our bags in the restaurant whilst we looked for somewhere to stay. Super nice people, great views and good food.

Echoes is the most unique restaurant that I have ever experienced. They are just not servicing good food and a great ambiance but they are serving the society and taking a step into mainstreaming the PWDs (People with Disabilities). It takes courage to take this step of change, to train them, to make them feel that their presence matters. Kudos to Echoes… Echoes Rishikesh is a must visit place. Beautiful and serene environment with positivity and encouragement to human life.

I went haridwar , was craving for some good food and got to know echoses are in rishikesh as well .Just for try I have order some of their food items. First of all ambience .It was quite good and perfext for families and friends group . They have quit good ambience and pocket friendly price of foods deliciously and hot served ,I can easily compared this outlet with my delhi outlet . Enjoyed a lot .I will definitely visit again huge shoot out to staff and management for providing excellent services .

Visited this place and ambience is so good. Tried their pizza, momos, pasta and cigar rolls, everything tasted so good. This place is run by specially abled people which is the best part of this place. Also, view from this cafe is just amazingg. Couldn’t get over of this place. Must visit. Highly recommended.

Here is a detailed review! We ended up there because we were looking for a cafe open at 11.30pm it was on 3rd floor, hidden like a true gem. It was worth every single step. Let's start with food We ordered Lebanese platter, Stake rice bowl(Veg), It was recommended by the owner, but we recommend it to all, and Mix sauce pasta( one of the best i have ever had), every single of the food item was better than the other, bombing your palette with soulful flavours. Ambience: It was good and clean, we just missed the live singing as the musician was packing when we arrived but sitting, and overall ambience was worth the wait. Service: The staff is really polite and they take their time to cook food so plan accordingly, service was not delayed but again good food take time. P.S.: I don't click food pictures but their stake bowl presentation made me rethink my decision so the only food pic i clicked from the whole trip.

Amazing Vibe & amazing food. We went on weekend & experienced their Live Music Show performed by Shiva, the breezy rooftop & music made our day. They have amazing Coffees best we ever had. Their food is also superb best from the places nearby. A must Visit in Rishikesh.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place! The coffee is some of the best I've had – you can tell they use high-quality beans . I ordered Paneer steak rice bowl and bruschetta, it was perfectly made. The Pancake was also fantastic, fresh ingredients and really tasty. The staff were all super friendly and the cafe itself has a lovely, relaxed vibe. Definitely coming back!

Disappointed by the Hype – Not Worth the Visit I visited this café after seeing so many glowing Google reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was far from what was promised. The service was a major letdown — the staff seemed distracted and inattentive while serving food, which left a negative first impression. The atmosphere, which many reviews described as “chill,” was actually quite uncomfortable, especially if you’re a non-smoker. The heavy presence of smoke in the seating area made it hard to enjoy the environment, let alone the food. I had high expectations based on the online buzz, but in reality, it felt like a terrible decision to dine here. Definitely not a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for good service or a clean, smoke-free ambiance.

Such a chill vibe! — the owner was super friendly, the music sets the perfect mood, and there are also a few games to keep things fun. The drinks were really nice too — I loved the Espresso Tonic and Cranberry! The outdoor seating is nice and cozy and perfect for hanging out. Food is best; when served with their coffee.... They come with their own specifal coffee mixes that is worth trying. Do give it a chance!!!
