Jiuquxi is a popular tourist attraction where visitors can enjoy a peaceful ride on bamboo rafts along a tranquil river that winds through towering cliffs covered in lush forests. Experienced guides expertly navigate the rafts, providing tourists with an unforgettable experience that showcases the natural beauty of this picturesque location in China. With scenic views at every turn, Jiuquxi offers a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for those seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and connect with nature.
Jiuquxi means river bending nine times. We did bamboo boat rifting, totally about 1.5 hours. Along the river, you see different shapes of mountains. Winter time could be cold and windy, bring warm jacket. The water is pretty stable, no worries about vertigo. Worth the trip.
Susan D — Google review
This Jiuquxi bamboo raft drift is a must try when you are in Wuyishan. If you understand Mandarin and give some tips to the rafters, they can sing -talk funny and cynical folklore. To me, the cultural experience was much better than my Venetian Gondola experience in Venice in Italy or in the Venetian Hotel in Macao!

(Translated by Google) When traveling to Wuyi Mountain in Fujian, in addition to mountain climbing, I didn’t expect that you can also swim in the river! There is a winding Jiuqu River at the foot of Wuyi Mountain. It is known as the beautiful scenery of nine winding streams winding around green peaks. The best way to travel is to take a bamboo raft and go down the river from Jiuqu to Yiqu. It is safe and fun, and you can enjoy the scenery of the river and mountains. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. The scenery on both sides of Jiuqu River is endless, with different scenery at every turn. It is known as the most beautiful stream in China. Along the way, you will pass Tianwang Peak, Yunu Peak, Yuzhu Peak, and Yingzui Rock. Just like Japan's Jiubi River, the boatman will sing a song from time to time. The interesting explanations and interactions are quite fun.

The earliest place named after Wuyi Mountain was Wuyishan Town in Yanshan County, Shangrao, Jiangxi Province. As we all know, the earliest place names were named after villages and towns that slowly developed into cities. Because Fujian was the first to develop tourism, Wuyi Mountain was seen The role of this gold-lettered signboard was to preemptively register the place name "Wuyishan City". When people think of Wuyishan, it naturally belongs to Wuyishan City, Fujian. In fact, the cultures at the junction of provincial boundaries are common and there was no conflict in ancient times. It's just that modern people have an added selfishness in their concepts, which distinguishes you and me.
