Where to eat: the 50 best restaurants in Taoyuan

Feb 2025 A clean bright chain restaurant that's good for small bites and for meeting friends. My friend and I settled on this spot so I could try the original bubble tea and experience Chun Shui Tang. We ordered a pig blood tofu dish (3*), bread with condensed milk (4*), fried radish cake (2*), a side of seasoned egg (2*), and some teas(5*). The layout of the restaurant was spacious and the vibe was fitting in this higher-end mall. The service was stiff and awkward. There was nothing too special about the food. They arrived lukewarm. Fortunately, the tea was very nice. Admittedly, the IDEA of experiencing what could have been similar to the original bubble tea was more satisfying than the actual drink.

Avoid this restaurant chain! They charge a 10% seating surcharge on top of offering poor service, including having to pay at the cashier and experiencing a decline in food quality since the pandemic. It's simply not worth the money and it's overrated.

Got the bubble tea for sure since it stated the origin of bubble tea, is nice but not the best I tried. But still worth trying as they said the founding member of bubble tea Also a bit overpriced

The restaurant is located on Shin Mitsukoshi on the Basement floor. The restaurant is not too big. Often on weekends we need to queue up first to get a seat. This restaurant serves bubble milk tea with smaller boba. The taste is good and the tea choice is flavorful. This place also (arguably) is the first inventor of Boba Milk Tea. The signature drink is Bubble Milk Tea, with other choices such as Chocolate Bubble Milk Tea (must try), Matcha, and other tea. They also serve vegetarian dishes, and regular noodles. But you have limitation for 90 minutes if you eat on the store.

This is a wonderful boba shop, the tea is very fresh. I live the small boba. It is a small shop at the bottom of a department store, so it can get crowded. You may have a wait if you go here, but it wasn't bad when I went on a Friday night. There is an English menu up at the front, so look for that if you need it. I think that the experience of this tea shop is not as good as if it was not at the department store. Great food still.

Had a great stay here. Quiet and comfy. Double queen beds room is ideal for family. Easy to get to the airport by taxi or Metro. Not the newest facilities but good value considering the price and location.

This is the worst "airport hotel" I've been to. Getting here is super awkward if you don't have a car. You need to stop at Dayuan station (be sure to take the commuter train not rapid), and then walk in this dirty unpaved path/neighborhood until you reach the hotel. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the terminals, but does not offer any shuttle service. The hotel is pretty bare minimum and doesn't have any amenities such as gym, but it does have a banquet for some reason. The breakfast was quite bad and I saw a big fly on top of the fruits. This hotel needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.

Do you like the noise of tents flapping on a mountain side? Do you like rooms without windows (boarded up with plywood). Then I have a place for you. Ridiculous building under construction no notice, carpet in room disgusting, brown carpet tiles shrunch/gaps to floor, gross. No iron!?. If it wasn't so late I would never have stayed for 3 seconds. NOT convenient to airport or train station, no functioning sidewalk to get you there. Lobby portico offers little protection from rain. I didn't eat breakfast there, I wonder why.

Not too far from the airport but not a walking distance either. The hotel is undergoing some (needed) renovation, unfortunately we got one of the older rooms which was OK but old fashioned (not enough electric sockets, carpet, weird bathtub/shower situation). The AC was really powerful which was great for us. The bed was good, water pressure amazing, very good breakfast buffet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A good rest stop before/after a long flight.

The hotel facade is currently under renovation, but the interiors are well-maintained. Our group of three stayed in a spaceous and clean room with two comfortable beds. The bathroom had a bathtub/shower but if traveling with seniors, they have to be careful while stepping into the tub. The location of the hotel is convenient, especially for travelers arriving from or heading to Taoyuan airport. For dinner, the only option available was the buffet on the second floor (the same restaurant where breakfast is served), priced at around NTD 400 per person. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The ambiance of the hotel feels a little dated, but the room we stayed in clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good.

Their shower tub is huge, but be careful not to trip over it. Beds are comfortable and sheets are clean, but not very new. Rooms have a small refrigerator and free bottled water. Their front counter customer service is fair, but lacking a basic smiley face which I think is utmost valuable in a nice hotel. Complimentary breakfast from 6 AM to 10 AM on the 2nd floor.

My husband and I stayed at Taoyuan City Suites and overall, we had a great experience. Since I had almost 30kg of baggage, we decided to take a taxi from Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 instead of taking the train. The ride was quick and convenient, costing only NT$180, which was worth it considering the heavy luggage. Check-in was smooth and fast. However, I think it would be even better if the reception staff could be a little warmer and more welcoming with smiles to make guests feel more comfortable. That said, they communicate well in English, which made the whole process hassle-free. For dining, since there aren’t many food options around the area, my husband and I decided to avail of their buffet dinner, which runs from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The food was delicious and definitely worth it! Special thanks to the Filipina staff who assisted us — she was very accommodating and always smiling. We really appreciate how smart and attentive she was. At first, she spoke to us professionally in English, matching the language we used, but she quickly sensed we were Filipinos and made us feel very welcome. Ate, if you’re reading this — thank you so much, and we hope to see you again when we come back! The hotel accepts credit card payments for accommodations, but if you book a taxi through them, you’ll need to pay the driver in cash (NT$200). It’s convenient since they also help arrange transportation for guests. Since the hotel is only about 10 minutes away from the airport, you can expect to hear some airplane noise. However, during our stay, my husband and I didn’t have any trouble sleeping and weren’t disturbed by the sound at all. Overall, we had a comfortable and satisfying stay at Taoyuan City Suites. The location is very convenient, especially for travelers with early flights since it’s close to Taoyuan Airport. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing, and accessible place near the airport.

I’m surprised this place has a 4.8 rating; it feels overrated. The food was presented in a somewhat fancy manner, but it was fairly ordinary in taste. The beef, in particular, fell short of my expectations based on how it was portrayed on the menu. Even the drinks is bad. On the positive side, the service was satisfactory, and the restaurant was clean. However, the food quality overall was disappointing and didn’t meet the standard I was hoping for.

We recently dined at TGI Fridays Zhongli Restaurant with our family and had an enjoyable experience. The restaurant's lively atmosphere made our dinner pleasant. We ordered a variety of dishes, including burgers, ribs, and salads. The food was flavourful and served promptly. The portion sizes were generous, providing good value for the price. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. The restaurant's location within Metro Walk Mall is convenient, especially for families looking to combine shopping and dining. While the prices are slightly higher compared to local eateries, the quality of food and service justifies the cost.

Everything was good except for the pasta which was too sour and the choco mud pie which was too sweet. Table was too small we had to finish each dish in a hurry to have space for the next dish. Pricey as usual.

Great place for teppanyaki. Their service are great. One of the best and my favourite from wang pin group after yaki-yan. The price is a little bit high. But the meat quality are great. Really recommended to try their duck breast. There's really so many great option to choose for the main course. Definitely full after one set course menu.

One of the high-tier brands under Wang Pin. Even though the price tag is higher (roughly NTD1100 per pax), it comes with satisfying services with delicious food. The price is per pax, for 8 dishes (from appetizer, to main dishes, to dessert). There are various selections for each dish. Feel free to be at my favorite place!

Fine dining experience in zhongli. Not much difference compared to the zhonghsan taipei. But the staff are more courteous somehow in here. Atmosphere and Seating are fine. Dining is better than average fine dining restoras. Although i miss the food in Chamonix Ski village. Ha….

Excellent ambience with gourmet food served. During our hotel stay at Kuva, we pretty much eat there every day without feeling bored . There are so many tasty options that we just can’t get enough! We love the steamed grouper, fish soup, sea cucumber with pork tenderloin, braised chestnut chicken and the pea greens !!! Three cheers for the chefs. The free delicious appetizers are different Every day ! The service is great!!!

First visit to this locally famous restaurant. Surprisingly, food was good and service was fast. Value for money! Only downside is that you'll need to drive to get there. Will definitely return.

Stumbled upon this hotpot place by chance on a Monday night, and what a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was really cozy, and the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. We opted for the set for 2 and added a few extra dishes (4-5) to share, which ended up being very reasonable at around SGD30 per person. The portion sizes were generous, especially considering the price. The highlight for me was definitely the recommended pork soup base - it was rich and flavorful. The fish slices and pork were also fresh and delicious, although the prawns were a bit on the smaller side and weren't the freshest. Overall, a great spot for a casual and affordable hotpot experience. Definitely recommend checking it out!

We’ve been to Tokiya for so many times and want to celebrate Father’s Day here with our parents. Generally speaking, we were pleased with its salads/ appetizers/ soups/ drinks and good service but… 1. Entrees are served cold. Two out of 4 entrees (chicken and steak) are not ideal/cold. 2. Cake qualities are not equally the same. Later we were told one of the cakes (picture attached) is not supposed to be served to the guests. 3. Under construction neighborhood. Can’t stay calm to enjoy the environment/vibe and the food. The noise and quakes made by the construction machine makes us feel nervous. Other than that, they responded to our feedback promptly. However, we probably won’t come here again. Parents were disappointed with their meals.

OMG!!!... Food served was barely warm. Had to ask to several times to reheat my meals. MY MAIN COURSE WAS BEEF... HOWEVER, DID NOT TASTE LIKE BEEF!!! Got served meals without cutlery twice. Ambience and service was very average. They forgot to serve us our drinks until the end of our meal. Some of the food was delicious, after it was reheated. Overall, it's not a " fine dining experience" ... but it sure tries to be with its high prices!!!

We came here for a lunch with my parents during my trip to Taiwan. We all ordered the lunch set menu. I found the short rib was overly seasoned and was way too salty. I didn’t like it at all. The service was alright. The servers were borderline cold and robotic. The restaurant interior is dated and needed for a renovation. Will I come back next time when I visiting Taiwan? Probably not.

Went for lunch and was served the usual condiments. Mushroom soup was disappointing as they seemed to use too much flour. Ordered a ribeye and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the meat. My wife's New York steak on a hot plate tasted better than my ribeye. The ribeye had almost no marbling and contained quite a bit of unchewable tendons. The restaurant claimed it was USDA prime ribeye, which I honestly doubt. I have been all over the world and have eaten the best steaks, and this ribeye certainly did not live up to it's price. The restaurant staff were very receptive and service was excellent though. Sorry but will not return.

Food is mediocre, I'm pretty sure they don't open for night time because they can't compete with night market. But for the price? It's pretty good, great atmosphere. Top it off, the lamb chops are excellent.

It was my first time having a meal there. The spread consisted of various dishes, including salads, soups, roast beef, and the option for cooked vegetables upon request. The bread selection featured baguettes and small buns. Overall, it was a modest buffet offering.

Solid Shanghainese eats, commonly compared to DTF, probably because of their similar offerings, especially for things like XLB. While they carry a large variety of items, most are just okay, while their standouts are their flaky pastries and buns/dumplings by far, though like others have said, they're pretty pricy compared to competitors. For whatever reason, this particular location seems notably better than its Taipei counterparts.

Like this restaurant, they have a vegetarian meals option and even provide toddler's meal (under 3 yo) for free.

Seriously hoped things would be more organized the servers were a complete mess (They need more training), everything came out slow, and even with a party of three, two of us finished our mains while the birthday girl was still waiting for hers. The server was kind and offered a free dish, but by the end, disappointment was the main course. What really filled us up was frustration, not food. I don’t think I will re-visit!

2.5..not bad 4 tai-thai food but food isn't memorable and service is shotty. Most of the dishes look great but don't deliver...u need to kick them up a notch like u do with taiwanese cuisine (I won't criticize taiwanese cuisine for being bland but this supposedly is thai). Also avoid the beef...it's ratty..lots of inedible fragments...that's not acceptable considering the price of the dish and small portion.

Price is a bit too expensive. Public restroom available. Check out speed is fast. Located inside the shopping mall. Mall parking available.

It's not actually cheap, but the service is amazing and the food is great. The only downside is that it's a chain store and so lacks an individual touch. But if you have to entertain guests and are uncertain about their preferences, than this is definitely a good option.

Variety of foods to dry , bit expensive though, among i liked fish soup and some bbq food

all you can eat. idk if its worth the price. but for picky eater like me, this place not really worth it. beef is still raw i prefer medium well, but i think this beef is medium rare or still rare. the soup are good. theres too many seafood but mostly no flavor. the dessert was delicious and has a lot variation. the drinks are also good. for fancy dinner this is worth it. i recommend to make a reservation before, its very convenient.

It's one of the place my foodie group go for big meals. It's quite good, but I its just think a bit expensive. The quality of food is good 😎😎😎 and have a lots lf varieties. We eat like a pig here! Went for afternoon tea set! Good place to enjoy food. A lot of things you can have with goof quality. The sashimi may not that good but apart from that everything is perfect to me. Also, love the dessert of the Xmas and also the card from their staff. Thanks =)

The sweet pork chops had too many bones for $620twd. Taste and flavor was okay. The eggplant was not salted enough. The pan fried noodles had a generous portion of seafood although the noodles couldve been more crispy. That was the best dish. We didnt have a choice because the airport geo fences off any uber delivery.

The air conditioning was set a tad too low for my comfort, adding an unnecessary chill to the otherwise warm ambiance. This small detail was enough to make the environment a bit less welcoming, which I believe is an easy fix for an otherwise stellar establishment. In conclusion, Wei Fang scores a full five stars for its food and service, but the overzealous air conditioning brings the atmosphere down to three stars. Overall, it stands as a four-star experience in my book. The restaurant truly is a gem in Taipei for its culinary delights and I am confident that with a minor adjustment to the temperature, the ambiance would match the high standards of its dishes and service.

This restaurant, also known as Wei Fang, is inside the Novotel hotel. The food was great, but the service was rather slow. The employees were kind but it just took a very long time for some dishes to be prepared. Upon being seated, a complimentary appetizer of spicy pig ears was provided. I ordered tea which came out in a pot with a candle underneath to keep it warm. That was neat. For entrees I had the cold chicken soaked in wine, crab oil fried rice, mapo tofu, braised duck, and boiled cabbage. I especially enjoyed the braised duck, which was unlike anything I have ever had before. The only dish I did not enjoy was the mapo tofu. For dessert I had almond pudding and dates stuffed with glutinous rice. The dates were unique and fun to eat because they were so chewy.

Chinese restaurant in Novotel Taoyuan Airport Hotel. There are many food to select in this place. Wanted to try this location on the 8th floor of the Tonlin mall since I’ve had it in Taipei. Same great taste and fresh seafood. Located right next to Hai di lao. Lots of big parties going on the night we were there. Fun vibe.

Food was surprisingly good for an airport restaurant. My favourite was the truffle pasta, although it took 15 mins to come out. If you’re in a rush then you may not want to stop here.

The meat was quite tough and fatty, indicating lower quality, but the rest of the dishes, especially the vegetarian options, were very good. We also appreciated that they used bamboo straws. Overall, I’d say it’s average—fine for an airport, but not something I’d seek out outside of the airport

The beef noodles were nice to my taste. However, the service was not consistent. When I arrived, the staff were enthusiastic, greeted me warmly, and brought me in. I noticed they also greeted other customers when they left. But when I was leaving, the staff did not acknowledge me at all. They were not busy just chatting among themselves and they clearly saw me. This made me feel unappreciated and treated differently. Staff service could be improved by being more consistent, especially in maintaining the same standard of hospitality for all customers.

The restaurant located near terminal B5. The beef steak was pretty good. It was tasty and quite tender. It seemed they don’t provide set meal so you need to order drinks separately. It took around 12 minutes from order to the food ready in the table which was quite fast. But you can place order only via QR code.

Great place for BBQ. It’s a fun environment where they play bingo too! Prices are decent for the amount of meat. But this is a great place if you have kids because they don’t charge you a minimum charge and most kids (mine)barely eat.

Enjoyed a quick lunch here 2 days in a row. In the same building as the Guide Hotel and Toy World. On the 3rd floor. Ordering is simple, and plates come out quickly. Food is fresh and apple juice is great! Fun capsule toy machines out front, and for every 5 plates, you get a chance to win a toy at your table (I didn't yet 😓 but maybe next time!). Easy self payment system. 1 hour limit but honestly I didn't stay more than 30 minutes either time so that was perfectly fine.

You won't be enamored of the food if you are a sushi lover. Overall the seafood quality is mediocre. But limited provision of wet tissue for hand and table cleaning would be a problem. The dessert such as ice cream and dounts is worthy a try. The usage of disposable chopsticks at the whole restaurant shows that the owner is lacking of the acknowledgement of eco friendly.

Food was alright certain fish seemed a bit dry like it's been left for long, however there were not a lot of fish on the roller and we almost have to order all of our plates. Which ruins a bit of fun from grabbing from the belt. The game win rate was way low and we were left disappointed but the overall experience is still not bad and would recommend people to eat especially their salmons with different sauces! Those were my favorites

I recommend playing some sports at the arcade and then stopping by here for some lamb hot pot and shrimp! The lamb hot pot was amazing...soup was flavourful, cabbage was soft, and the lamb was tender. You have an option to have unlimited vegetables in the pot which is great! Food was pretty ok, but the waiter with R on his initial, hopefully you could have some warmth when taking orders and little smile on your face. After all we were there to eat and we don't owe you anything.

Trying out a milk based hotpot for the first time. It's so much better the next day, so make sure to pack up the soup for your next day lunch.

It's one of my hotpot restaurant pocket list. I recommend you giving a try if you don't know where you want to go for food.

I went to the diner several times, and the previous experience was amazing. However, today I ordered French fries and seafood pizza, and I could tell the French fries, which taste vanilla, is different from those I had before. I guess the sources of the French fries have been altered due to inflation . On top of that, the crust of the pizza is way too dry. The lettuce in the beef roll was even replaced with some kind of unknown veggie, a hardcore disappointment really. Hopefully the owner could find something wrong with the new meals.

It is recommended to go early to avoid a long wait (be sure to take a number from the machine). Also, be sure to bring cash since they do not take credit cards.

For an airport joint it does a good job. Acceptable cleanliness. Easy menu. Simple payment. Most importantly fast food. It's a pre-cooked and pre-prepared meal that most likely just get warmed for the client prior to serving. Even then it tastes fairly delicious for this setup. The only thing that amuses me is the taste. Most food I taste in Taipei is enjoyably light without an unhealthy dose of salt. Here, seemingly to cater to an international demanding palate, the salt is heavier. It's too salty to eat by itself. You need the rice to temper the taste. Fortunately the soup escaped this affliction. Anyhow, airport food is meant to be fast and edible. For these criteria, it does well.

Wanted to have a last Taiwanese meal before heading home. This was apparently the only one there is in T1 after immigration. Food was not up to expectations. Price was high and a waste of stomach space. Opted to get past immigtation before the Wan An military drill as was not sure how it will impact people who are outside. All the meals which we ordered were not up to expectations. The veggie with oyster sauce is the worst that I have eaten over the past 10 days. In addition, the mango pudding had just underscored the lousy meal.

Though relatively pricey, this restaurant has excellent Italian food in general. The exception this time was the lasagna, which was small and lacked thick pasta sheet layers. We come here every so often when we feel like having Italian food.

Nice place to have lunch! Waiters and waitresses are kind ! Serving speed is fast~ I order mixed mushrooms and crab risotto and I highly recommend everyone to try! The rice and crabs are good but the mushrooms are the best! Give it a try and you will not regret!

This is probably my favorite among the NINI restaurants (others include Le Nini and Toscanini). Quality ingredients, well prepared, relatively low price. And this place has the most comfortable booth I've ever sat in. Highly recommended.

We ordered two main dishes, 2 spaghetti and portions were quite large. So I would suggest to order 1 main dish spaghetti for share and maybe a side dish. For my spaghetti, sauce was nice and creamy, but chicken and shrimps were slightly over cooked. The noodles was dante and well cooked. We also ordered buns for starter but didn’t come at all. We asked for cancellation of the buns. The waiter did help us and no extra fee was charged. Not the best place to eat and chat due to the surrounding noise. Overall a nice place to dine in.

Some recommendations are vegetarian Mexican, teen spirit and hippie.

Tasty thin base pizza, I really appreciate it to be thin, as it helps to really feel reach ingredient flavor, and not feeling full before enjoying it. Nachos portion is HUGE!!! This location needs improvement badly! We went there on Mother's Day. The service was so slow that my Dr. Pepper turned lukewarm by the time my pizza finally arrived. (About 50 minutes) The restaurant gave out free panna cotta for mothers which they brought out without any syrup. It was the first item that arrived to our table since we waited forever. When our Pizza finally came out, the crust was inconsistent in quality. I have been to the Kaohsiung and Taoyuan location, so I know what the crust should be like, but my pizza crust was still not quite done when it arrived. Lastly, we ordered two 12 inch pizzas and we ate half and had another half leftover. I asked to take the leftover to go and the restaurant staff stuffed the entire leftover pizza into a little box by folding the pieces on top of each other. I was incredulous when I saw that. They heard me murmuring under my breath and they took the pizza back and added a sheet of wax paper on the bottom and handed the box back to me. =) I know they probably don't have a lot of experience, since the restaurant is still new, but I was expecting a western owner will train their staff well in these areas before the grand opening. Oh well! =)

We came as a party of eight and ordered a mix soup, one with sour cabbage and one Mala hot pot. I thought the sour cabbage hot pot was delicious - the sour cabbage itself was well cooked and the quality of meat at this hot pot place is also very good. An acceptable place. The food area is a bit small and can be rather crowded during peak timing. The parking can be a bit of a hassle if you arrive late during weekends. I still find 千葉to be a better choice for a similar price. The beef here is a bit lacking.

Food poisoning. My son and I are visitors from Malaysia on a business trip to Taiwan. On 17 Feb 2025, after the lantern festival show at Taoyuan, we had burgers for dinner at the Mosburger at HSR station in Taoyuan. For the whole night we couldn’t sleep. I was burping non stop until 5 am when I vomitted my dinner. My son also threw up shortly after. Thereafter our stomachs stabilised and we could get back to sleep. I wish I had taken photos of what came out from our vomit as evidence. Hope that Mosburger and the Taiwan public health authorities could conduct further checks so that the public and tourists can feel safe about Taiwan food outlets. Feel free to contact me to verify details of the incident.

It was first time to try MOS Burger. It was really tasty. However, they don't accept Visa and Master credit cards, so I have to pay by cash. Other than that, everything was good.

This was honestly one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. The lettuce was old, soggy, and looked like it had been picked out of the trash. It was completely unappetizing and unacceptable for a restaurant that’s supposed to care about quality. I can’t believe they thought it was okay to serve something like this. Total waste of money, and I definitely won’t be coming back. One star is too generous.

It's a Mos Burger. Nothing special. Though they do have kiosk for ordering. Seldom see in other Mos Burger. On that day I feel that I waited longer. However, I didn't measure the time so I am not sure.

Was well attended as soon as we arrived at the venue. The meals were well served. The only downside was the serving knowledge, we ordered a bottle of bubble Asti as our entrée wine, but was given wide wine glasses rather flute glasses; I requested for the flute glasses, then got two warm up glasses for my chilled Asti, very odd experience. Overall, the meals were tasty and reasonable priced. Ive forwarded my feedback to the management and hopefully they will improve the staffs' professional knowledge when I visit the next.

Good range of food on menu. Pasta, pizza, risotto, steak. The beef stew was not the best i have eaten but it is still good. Pasta in pesto sauce is pretty good. Pasta was al dante and source is rich. The pork knuckle is very nice too (recommended). Nice ambience for group or family outing.

I had an outstanding experience at BUNA CAF'E! My friend and I enjoyed a delightful meal with Brazil Fazenda Rainha coffee, Salted Caramel Latte, Thai Style Spaghetti with Matsusaka Pork, and Scallops Spaghetti with Sea Urchin Sauce, all of which were incredibly delicious. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was cozy, clean, and inviting. This cafe definitely deserves a solid 5-star rating.

Friendly staff, great service, the included breakfast buffet (7am to 10am) had lots of variety to accommodate your food choices. The room layout is a little strange, toilet and shower just have opaque glass doors separating them from the main room, since there are no hooks or racks in the shower, it can be awkward getting in/out. Depends on which style room you get, the in-room hot tub have the water faucet control pretty far away from the waterspout which makes checking water temperature a bit of a hassle while filling, all the faucets in our room have seen better days, flow rate control was sub-par and the hotel had an issue with fluctuating water pressure during our stay, it was manageable but made the overall experience not as good as it could be. Despite the hardware shortcomings in our room, the kids had lots of fun in the large pool, we plan on staying here again.

We asked the front desk to extend our stay for 2 nights. They booked us for one night and accidentally charged us 4x the price. They next day, the forced us from our rooms and denied that they had extended our stay.

one of the finest experience in taiwan . visited this resort with a huge group of friends and the administration & staff of the premises did beyond their best to avail/assist us to make our stay a memorable one . the cuisine at 2F shanghai cuisine restaurant is amazing , the breakfast is huge . this place has a serene , secluded vibe full of tranquility & peace . shall be coming back here again surely .

Hotel is a bit old, but staff are very friendly and helpful. We went for new years event for families and it was very suitable for kids. Lots of DIY, music, dancing, small gifts. Pool is warm water so very suitable for cold winters.

I was here for a graduation dinner buffet. The food was delicious and of a good quality. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was ample parking and the venue was very open and very calming with water features and green areas.

Good hotel and service, gym big and equipped, swimming and facilities excellent, best part of the stay were the two hot pools 39.8 and 42.8-ish(amazing!) degrees and tons of jets and spots for kids to play. No medicinal or flavored wasted hot tubs! Hotel is kids friendly with a tiny electric car ring, and big jungle gym. Our room had a big entryway, three bed setup with in-suite hot spring style tub. Comfy bed and pillows, mini fridge had free sports drinks. Bathroom area small, sink clean but looked dirty--actually part of the surface. TV old and like 24", very small. Hit the buffet 8am, it had both American and Chinese selections, tried many, lacked flavor, just OK. Usually I'd say this was a freshness issue, either precooked or stock sitting. It's bland but more so than typical fare in Taiwan. U-bike station outside, great if you're not driving as the nearest convenience store is a 10min ride away. No smokes sold on site, hotel has very limited soft drink & snack selection in lobby, didn't check room service fare. Overall the stay was pleasant, but there's many small improvements that need to be made to be worth the 4* rating and price.

This is perhaps one of the best spicy hot pot restaurants in Taoyuan. To start, we were given the complimentary 川味涼粉. Even with the amazing hot pot, this was the best dish of the night. The sauce was spicy, sweet, and sour, while the glassy noodles provided a nice bite. The sesame, peanuts, and green onions added to the textures and flavors as well. Overall, this dish was truly a symphony of flavors and textures, serving as a wonderful appetizer for the rest of the meal. For the broth, we picked the 絕選麻辣鍋 (red) and the 養生白味鍋 (white). The red broth was quite spicy at first, but once the hot oil was sucked up by the 油條, the soup became more mellow. The fragrant spiciness translates well to the various toppings. Of course, their AYCE tofu and duck blood were very rich and delicious. Their meats and dumplings were very high quality as well. The white broth was good on its own, though it might not be that flavorful after your palette has been numbed by the spicy hot pot. It is still a good broth to cook your vegetables in, though! Additionally, their sour plum juice pairs well with the spicy hot pot. They also have a drink and dessert station as well. The service was pretty great. We got our meals very fast after ordering using a QR code. The servers would often come around to add more soup and toppings for us. The Chinese decor and atmosphere is very lively, too. Overall, I've consistently have good experiences in this restaurant. I'd highly suggest getting a reservation and try their spicy hot pot yourself!

I was excited to order the Xiaolongbao. But turned out there wasn't much soup, there were too much vegetables in the filling so it overpowered the taste of the meat. The wrap itself was thin but did not spend the time to wrap it nicely. Noodles were not bad, I would give it above average. Shrimp dumpling was bland and had no taste, and the wrap was soggy and fell apart. Seating capacity is a good size. Lots of parking on-site.
