Points of Interest & Landmarks
The National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool is a captivating quayside destination that transports visitors back to the era of Admiral Nelson. This engaging museum features costumed guides and allows guests to explore the historic 1817 warship, Trincomalee, at their leisure. Even if you arrive later in the day, there's plenty to see and do!
It was an interesting weekend trip. Very convenient free parking near the museum. The entrance ticket for an adult cost 16 pounds, but this is not a big price for such an interesting museum. From the first steps we got into the atmosphere of life near the old pier several hundred years ago. The opportunity to get on board the frigate, go down to the lower decks - it was exciting and interesting. Many interesting locations for children. There is a nice cafe and toilets, as well as a souvenir shop.
Olha H — Google review
We had a great day here with the boys aged 9 & 12. They enjoyed the weapons talk and the fighting ships experience. The 9 year old is also young enough to have enjoyed the play area and the additional games set out quoits and bowls were fun. The only negative I would add would be some of the displays in the buildings were a bit tired and dimly lit and the wording was too high up to read easily. The ship is very interesting and the whole quay area gives a good overall impression. If you could get some investment this has potental to be 5 star. There is a cafe which we didn’t use as we’d brought a picnic which you are welcome to do. There is seating available. Overall for the price on an annual ticket£34 for 2+2 it’s good value compared to many other attractions and free parking an added bonus.
Linda C — Google review
Small but quite interesting place. None of the buildings were real which was quite disappointing. Good displays and lots of information. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking, gift shop and cafe on site. Buy tickets online they are a little bit cheaper.
Liz — Google review
The museum is ok, it is looking tried in places I.e information plaques torn or items missing. The centre piece being the naval ship is very good however I would have liked more information around the ship to bring the different parts of it to life. We were warmly welcomed onboard but about from that limited in info to read or a talk through would have been fantastic even an audio app to listen too would have been welcome. The weapons talk and the firing of the cannon was good along with the hands on bit at the end. The quayside is well maintained and there is information within some of the buildings. I do get that one ticket gets entry all year however not enough for us to make another trip I feel. Comfortable visited within a morning or afternoon
Neil B — Google review
Family visit to the Royal Navy Museum, took our 12 and 9 year old boys, it's full of information, things to see and Interact with, you can hop on board and explore the HMS Trincomalee to see what it was like, it has an onsite cafe, play park and gift shop. It was a great visit and you can return for the next year for free with a valid ticket.
Melissa — Google review
Liked it so much we went back the next day, free of course, any number of visits allowed in a year from ticket purchase. The various demonstrations were also worth seeing.
Christopher R — Google review
Had a great visit today. Lots to look at this museum. Had everything from interactive displays all the way to going onto the actual ship. Only bad point that would make even Captain Pugwash sad are Some of the displays lighting was really poor or not working. Couldn’t see some of the displays as was too dark.
Tut Y — Google review
Never been here before, but thoroughly enjoyed our visit here - it was good to be able to look all over the ship, at the various decks and areas the crew lived and worked in. As the tickets last for 1 year from date of purchase, we may well return in the spring / summer.

Tweddle Children's Animal Farm is a delightful destination for families seeking an engaging day out. This charming farm features a petting zoo where kids can interact with friendly animals like goats, alpacas, and horses. Visitors can purchase animal feed to enhance their experience and even participate in bottle-feeding adorable calves. The farm offers a plethora of activities that cater to children of all ages, making it an unforgettable adventure.
We had a fantastic afternoon at Tweddle Farm! There’s so much to do – we only saw part of it, but we’re already looking forward to coming back to see the rest! The tractor ride was great fun, we got to see what the rest of the farm had to offer, and though we missed the barrel ride, it looked brilliant (and both are free!). Lots of friendly animals to pet and feed, plus great play areas indoors and out – including soft play and go-karting. Food and drink were easy to find with a cafe on-site and a cool airstream food trailer near one of the play parks, which was really convenient. We visited during the Easter holidays, so there was an Easter egg hunt happening, along with some fairground rides and fun games at the bottom of the farm, adding even more excitement to the day. A great day out for kids and adults alike!
Victoria M — Google review
Oh my word, where do I start! We went a weekday before the easter holidays the first time. First impression was that everythinh looked a bit tired…BUT: i was wrong. The kids (5&2) had an absolute blast. Meeting and feeding the animals, barrel rides, reasonable priced food and drink, sunshine and great outdoor fun. The kids kept on talking about it for weeks now, so we went back today. And it was even better. The weather was grey and rainy today, but we had so much fun! Meeting Rabbits and Ginue Pigs, Feeding Lambs, barrel and tractor rides, beautiful peacocks, service with a smile… to end it with an absolutely entertaininh foam party. The staff joined in and the young lady, long dark straight hair and a few tattoos on the arm was just so amazing with the kids! It was fabulous and a great day out. Each time we spend over 5h here. Thank you!
Sarah S — Google review
Brought our 1year 9 month ols Grandson here today. We all loved it. Friendly staff, lovely animals, soft play & outdoor park. Tractor rides & Barrel rides. Plenty to do for all ages. Next time we come we will do the full day.
JF — Google review
We visited the farm while on holiday at the caravan park and WOW. Probably the highlight of the holiday for the kids. We had the best day. The staff were amazing and so good with the kids at the handling and feeding sessions. It was the most ‘hands on’ farm we’ve ever been to. Lots of cuddles and feeding. The parks & indoor play barn are also amazing. The barrel/tractor ride was a firm favourite! Excellent value for money. This farm has possibly swayed us to book crimdon dene again for a uk holiday.
Hannah — Google review
Lovely place to visit with your kid to see and feed the farm animals and enjoy the playground areas and their daily activities like tractor 🚜 ride, feeding the baby cows, petting little animals, etc. Will definitely recommend …

Just a great day out for a 5 year old We had such a great time will be back again

Special first trip for my baby granddaughter! .. Not disappointed! Lots of clean picnic areas to chose from. The place is always clean and tidy when we visit!. No litter. Animals all seemed well cared for and plenty of food and bedding for all! Likely will be back next year as Tweddle Farm always figures in the school holiday trips out!. Well done yet again staff!

Outdoor Activities
Seaton Carew Beach is a popular destination on the North Sea coast, attracting bathers and families during the summer season. The vast expanse of sand revealed at low tide makes it a favorite spot for visitors in winter. The area offers amenities such as fish and chip shops, ice cream parlors, arcades, and a shop for beach essentials. Parking can be limited during peak times, so arriving early is recommended. Lifeguards are present for added safety.
A nice place for relaxation for summer where people can go with family band friends to catch fun and unwind I love the section for children where there are several games that can amuse the children and give them pleasant memories I also love the hotels and lounges close to the beach which makes it attractive to tourists
GeeTee S — Google review
Absolutely stunning beach front, in winter or summer. The beach front is flat and extremely clean and well kept, so it's perfect for a lovely walk. Be prepared for winds though! You can see the beautiful headland and take stunning photos on a clear day. It can get busy in summer, with tourists and sun worshippers but there is plenty of sand and beach to share; it could never get too busy! Well worth a visit. Unfortunately to one side there is a bit of an eyesore - however it doesn't take away how beautiful the beach and ocean are. A must see.
Claire — Google review
Be careful with the wasps at the plastic clearing bins right before the beach wall and entrance. Next to the lifeguard building. Great beach, busy and tricky to park if you get there after 11am. Good idea to have bags provided for collecting rubbish. But a plastic free option would be better. Quite a walk from the nearest car park to the sea when the tide is out.
Beereed — Google review
Plenty of parking, dog beach not far. Always a great day out.
Nnamdi A — Google review
One of the best beaches I have ever been on, felt like miles of sand to walk along. Cheap parking fees, £1.00 for two hours or £2.00 for four hours. There is a lovely little park on the front for the kids with a small water park, plenty of seating to watch the kids enjoy themselves. Hidden gem, a must visit, dependant on the weather. Take a walk over to the town, very reasonable priced ice creams and two very good arcades to keep the kids happy.
Steven T — Google review
Great beach to visit with the family. Expect to queue up for fish and chips and ice-cream as they get really busy
Jonathan — Google review
Great beach for a nice walk with the family and dogs. There is a lot of shells and stones on the beach for the kids to find and collect. There are a lot of bins for rubbish and dog waste so everything was kept pretty clean. The was plenty of parking next to the beach and it is free when out of season.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool is one of the best museums in the world.I can proudly say I was once a professional Tour guide there and was proud of that fact. IT'S OPEN AGAIN YAAAAAAA BUT you MUST PRE BOOK ON LINE FIRST .Take a look at the website and you will be taken through an introduction of entry. There is so much to see and do. (for all age groups ) price of entry is very reasonable considering what they have on offer. Fighting ships display is a definite must not miss,Gun and cannon display is demonstrated at certain times as is fighting ships . Ask questions about the displays. .....staff and extremely knowledgeable on all of the site activities. Coffee shop are great(but if you want to take your own picnic there are tables around the site for you to use )The shop is a must visit it gives you a wide range of gifts and even navy Rum to buy at a very reasonable price plus glass ware to drink it out of .On site are housings that you can wonder around and sometimes they have guides that will give you displays in the shops themselves. HMS TRINCOMALEE is an amazing Original vessel. Over 66%original, She is one of the oldest original ships in the world don't miss this opportunity to see her. They used to only do tours during winter. But ask questions guides will have the answers. Enjoy as much as I did working there. Now go and have a great time there. If ever you visit hartlepool don't miss this amazing place. You won't forget it. TRUE HISTORY.

Nestled within the scenic Hartlepool Marina, the Heugh Battery Museum is a charming gem that transports visitors back to the 19th century. This former coastal defense battery showcases an impressive collection of historical weapons, uniforms, and artifacts that tell the story of Britain's military past. Despite its modest size, this museum offers a wealth of engaging exhibits and fascinating insights into World War I history—most notably as the site of Britain’s first death by enemy fire.
We only had to give a donation because they are doing a lot off work in the museum. We bought some books coins pens ect. The guides were amazing friendly and knowledgeable explained everything about the items in parts of the museum. They let the children try on the clothes and let them pose with some of the items. Loved it Sent long time.
Deborah — Google review
Situated on the Headland, which juts out into the North Sea and provides some spectacular views, this is a small but fascinating and well run museum which commemorates the German naval bombardment of Hartlepool in December 1914. I was particularly impressed by the staff who were most friendly helpful and informative. The Headland itself is worth a visit in order to see Saint Hilda's Church and the War Memorial which is pictured here.
JOHN A — Google review
Great little museum. And great price (donation). Plenty of old artillery pieces to look at and weapons. Only thing that let it downside was the condition of some of the pieces. Some rusting very badly and in serious need of a re-paint. Hopefully they can get some help with this and keep this great place going. Just be aware of the foreign employee in the weapons room. You try and have a look around and he waffles on and on about everything 😂
Tut Y — Google review
Very small museum, but packed with history and incredible displays! Entrance is free (but a donation is recommended). Plenty of history about the battery and the role it played in WW1. Only took about an hour to go around, but the staff were very friendly and informative!
Samuel H — Google review
There wasn't much to see because they were having some renovation. But it was worth seeing the place
Akosua A — Google review
What an amazing place! We stumbled across it by mistake. Such a unique place, run by volunteers who also dress up in period clothing and even sing songs from the war on a little stage. Loads of guns, tanks, artillary, cannons and other buildings. There is a fantastic little cafe too, which has little garden huts to site in. The food is excellent and SO cheap! Truly lovely place, that feels as though its in its own little oasis.
Andrew T — Google review
Went here today to witness a stunning sunrise. Obviously the museum wasn't open but the cannon was there and the light house was lit up. Took some stunning photos of the sunrise over the ocean, very quiet, managed to park up easily and enjoy the most beautiful of scenes. I encourage anyone to experience this at least once. The photos don't do the view justice. It truly was spectacular!
Claire — Google review
What a brilliant little museum. It is small, but pay what you think and the good exhibits make up for it's size. The only ww1 battlefield in Britain, the site of the first death by enemy fire, with pictures from 1914 of the damage done to Hartlepool makes this museum a truly special visit. My 3 year old loved it. There was a volunteer tour guide on the day I visited (16/3/24) he was brilliant, excellent facts from the time. Funny and engaging, he kept my 3 year old entertained. To have a place like this so close to home is truly special. They have plenty of events on during the year as well, can't recommend this museum enough to keep the memories of those who fought for our freedom alive.

The Black Bull is a nice traditional pub. There is a good selection of beers, lager and cider, including two cask conditioned hand pulled, real ales farmers blonde and doom bar. There are three rooms and an outside seating area at the back. The beer was excellent, and the food menu looked very tempting, although we didn't try the food on our visit. It's a dog friendly pub.

Decor a bit tired. Food good and reasonably priced. Beer expensive (£4.75 a pint for cask ale). Very friendly young lady staff. However, she was on her own and the pub was very busy with diners. We were waiting about 50 minutes for our food.

Embark on an exhilarating adventure at Flip Out York (Previously Point Zero Trampoline Park York) and immerse yourself in a world of thrilling activities. Whether you prefer to explore at your own pace during open sessions or join a guided fitness class, there's something for everyone. While the food offerings may not always live up to expectations, with some items falling short in presentation and taste, the cheesy nachos and pizza are standout favorites.
Visited on Good Friday - was lovely and quiet! Staff on reception were friendly and welcoming. The staff on the trampolines were great fun - guy with cap and Manager black hoodie on entertaining my kids with his back flips etc and helped my autistic son with his socks. Refreshing to have nice, friendly customer service and people showing an interest in the customers. Toilers could do with a clean and to be checked.

Booked today but missed my slot due to family emergency.called and spoke to the manager (russ) he was sympathetic and let us change to a later time. Was chatting with Russ on our visit and his dedication to the park stood out,he has a lot of care for not just his customers but staff too! And can see that is clearly reciprocated. Another member of staff stood out for me (avery I think his name was) as he interacted with my kids and his fun, friendly personality didn’t go a miss! My 8 year old said he’s her favourite! He even got her a drink because she looked realy warm! These staff Realy made our visit enjoyable and can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing time! Our first time at the park and we loved it! Was very very clean, staff were extremely polite and helpful and happy to be there! Will definitely be going again this week. Would definitely have brought a monthly pass if it was available!

Lovelly experience! My five year old thoroughly enjoyed it! There's plenty of space and lots of staff Withholding one star only because the cafe was in a state of disarray and one very rushed staff on the till. Otherwise a great quick trip to consume the energy of an active kid!
Natalie K — Google review
It was a cold and rainy day so took the kids here to burn off some energy. Firstly, the pricing... strange... I booked online as I'd heard it was cheaper and it was, £9.85 per child so it isn't cheap, but if you don't book online its £12.55 per child. Not sure why they do it that way as you still have to queue, still get to a till but instead of them taking your money, they just tick your name off a list. Secondly, you can only wear their socks, so there's another few quid. Luckily, my 2 already had the socks from a party they'd been to some time before so I didn't have to buy their overpriced garments. It says get there 20 minutes early so you can watch the safety video, this didn't actually start until 1 minute before so by the time they'd watched it, they were in to their "jump" time. However, the safety video was very good. In the session before ours, the drops to the airbag was open, but during our session, they closed it. Not because anything was broken, but because the staff member watching it would rather spend time laughing and joking with his colleague and told people it was closed. When I questioned him about it, he didn't even bother to make up a reason, he just looked sheepish and walked off behind the other trampolines out of the way. The jump arena itself is actually very good, the place is clean and has a party like atmosphere and it's great to see kids and adults enjoying themselves. The cafe, whilst a little overpriced, was good with a great view over the arena. Screens would be nice so you could see the back of the arena and keep an eye on the kids. All in all, aside from a few niggles, the place is good fun.

Summerhill Country Park is a delightful green oasis that promises fun and adventure for the whole family. With its picturesque ponds, intriguing sculptures, and well-maintained paths, it’s an ideal spot for leisurely strolls or energetic play. The park features playgrounds designed for children of all ages, a BMX track for thrill-seekers, and climbing boulders that invite exploration.
Great walking area, free parking. Plenty to do for the kids. Rides, slides, nature watches, sculptures and more. Kids really enjoyed here. There is also a cafe here which was shut on our visit so I can't comment on it.

A nice big park, there's plenty of lovely spaces to go for a walk, ideal for picnics, dog walking, and taking children to play, reason only gave 4 stars is because of the only downside that is the only toilets are in the visitor centre which is only open weekdays, it should be open on weekends to,
Angie M — Google review
Great outdoor space with something for almost everyone. Children's areas, great walks, dog friendly, horse friendly, children's track and dirt track. Nice cafe on site too, not had the chance to make use of all they great stuff on offer but look forward to. The larger climbing frame has been removed (due to age) with the assumption that it's being replaced.

Finally I’ve had time to visit this park, was on my list for a while now. Easily accessible car park, visitor centre (didn’t go in so can’t comment ) , plenty of space for kids to play! Lots of picnic tables. Paths for people to walk. Sadly rain spoiled our day out so very quick visit, never got to walk around the paths to see what else to explore. Will definitely come back.

Always a lovely walking route. Wildlife ponds at selected areas that are nice. 2 sets of swings, for younger kids and older kids too and further up is the boulder Park and bike track.

A great place to walk or ride. Muddy on our little adventure this time but it was good fun. The park is well maintained and there are plenty of places to rest and unwind, have a bite to eat or play. The main visitors barn needs a bit updating and bringing to life as the heart of the park.

The Wingfield Castle was built by William Gray & Company at Hartlepool, and launched in 1934, along with a sister ship, the Tattershall Castle.[5] A third similar vessel, the Lincoln Castle built in Glasgow, was launched in 1940.[3] She was earmarked to become a floating restaurant in Swansea Marina in the early 1980s but was too wide to fit through the lock gates.[3] She is now preserved at the Museum of Hartlepool as a floating exhibit at Jackson Dock, as part of the Hartlepool's Maritime Experience visitor attraction, which also includes HMS Trincomalee.[3][4]

We visited today with my 5 and 2 year old sons, within 15 minutes of been there my 5 year old had an accident and hurt his back (not the parks fault). I was really impressed with how quickly a first aider came to help, I didn’t even need to seek them out, he was really on the ball and came straight to us. I unfortunately didn’t get his name but he was amazing with my son, gave him an ice pack, checked the injury and sat with him helping him calm down and feel better. As we’d not been there long before it happened he offered us to come back on another day if he wasn’t feeling up to going back bouncing which I couldn’t be more grateful for, especially considering the place wasn’t at fault. Thank you again and also thank you to the girl on reception for booking us a new date to return. All the staff are really helpful and hopefully next time we have a more enjoyable visit with no accidents ☺️

I had a really enjoyable visit recently! The team was fantastic and made us feel super welcome from the moment we arrived. The cleanliness and safety were top-notch, which made me feel at ease. The Chicken Tenders were a hit, though we could've done with a few more veggies, and while my child liked the Mac and Cheese, a side of veg would have made it even better. Overall, we had a great time and left happy!

Took my son and his brother to a quiet SEN autism friendly session on Sunday evening. I did wonder how it would be both quiet and autism friendly: understanding staff, normal lighting, no music, limited people which meant more space for everyone and I didn’t feel any judgement or worry about my son’s behaviour, there were quiet areas were accessible when needed such as near the lockers. It was our first visit and it excellent - I would recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you.

There’s also a café nearby serving delicious food and coffee, making it an ideal spot to relax after some fun in the sun.
Being October and 15° with little wind, we wanted an evening walk. This is great for a walk at any time by the beach. Plenty of parking available up top when we went with easy access to the walkways that take you to the beach. The steps are step and wooden. We took a picnic and sat near the dunes, listening to the waves. The sky was amazing, and there were great views up and down the beach we shared with only half a dozen others.

Great beach and very different depending which part you go to. Very sandy down near the golf club and rocky as you head back towards the stepped area and cliffs. Dog loves running around. The usual lazy people's rubbish and poo bags but plenty of space for everyone.

This is a lovely beach but the lack of poo bins mean people dump the bags. The solution is a carrier bag at each entrance to The beach. If you go, please take your rubbish to the bins in the car park and keep this gorgeous beach gorgeous x updated.... back there and there is a bag at each entrance for rubbish and poo bags. Well done to whoever did this. Update..... bags working well, visitors collecting plastic and leaving at these points. Great community spirit. Litter pick by the road overflow next job to tackle. Still a lovely beach. If you go, take a carrier and fill it with the plastic the tide brings in. Do your bit.

Teesmouth National Nature Reserve is a stunning wetland haven located along the Tees Estuary, perfect for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers alike. This expansive reserve features diverse habitats that attract a variety of wildlife, making it an ideal spot for leisurely walks and exploration. A popular route spans about five miles, offering breathtaking views of the local fauna as you stroll alongside the river. Keep your eyes peeled for seals basking on sandbanks during low tide!
Another visit to the Nature Reserve while looking for a 'Crossing Points' sculpture by Andrew McKeown. Another search that ended with no success, but the weather was fantastic, and the wildlife and setting were just superb.

Established in 1966, Teesmouth National Nature Reserve is one of the oldest nature reserves in northeast England, protecting both industrial heritage and natural marshland. The area is particularly important for migratory birds and seals, and its unique blend of mudflats, sand dunes, and wetlands supports a rich biodiversity. Great views, free car park, part rocky, part sandy beach—ideal for walking your dog, going alone, or simply enjoying the coast with whomever you like.

(updated 14.9.2018) well I've just returned from Teesmouth nature reserve & to say disappointed, the parking area is basically an end of lane area to a works place... (find a place & park basically) wildlife as expected the time of year & time of day certainly played a part of what hasn't been seen today!! I'd say the beach is a nice clean beach "which I'd very much recommend for dog walkers, couples & for a general nice time... however if you turn right &head towards the harbour then expect a lot of rubbish... anyway I've some images to share (hopefully you'll enjoy them still) I'm planning on returning hoping on much better sightings etc.. seal sands well.. sorry to say wasn't a welcomed sight.. but I'll add more to that later... THE UPDATE!! well its my 2nd time I've popped out here, Friday evening just before 6pm & I've really enjoyed my short visit... spoken to a local chap who's given me some good tips of places to go & visit etc & yeah we also seen 2 owls

Nestled within a beautifully restored Victorian church, the Hartlepool Art Gallery has been captivating visitors since its opening in 1996. This charming venue is dedicated to showcasing an array of contemporary and fine art, crafts, and photography, with a special focus on local talent. The gallery features two exhibition halls that host rotating displays throughout the year, ensuring there's always something new to discover.
This free art gallery is centrally located in Hartlepool and is not only great for city visitors but is also well suited to regular visits by locals. The building itself has an interesting history. The exhibits change regularly and can feature excellent works, usually only accessible elsewhere, such as London. There are facilities to amuse young children, which parents will appreciate. There is also a pleasant cafe.

Lovely place, had a fab exhibit of photographs on when I visited. I went with my children for a event that Simon Bartram read his book The man on the moon and he then the children all drew aliens. It was a fantastic event and we'll worth going if it's on again and best of all it was free to book. Only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't take drinks from the cafe the the tables in the middle where event was held, they said it was because of insurance purposes.

The stadium itself offers good facilities with friendly staff who enhance your visit.
By chance I decided to go to a match here and ever since I've had a soft spot for them the stadium might not be the best but the atmosphere it generates is unreal, the fans are very welcoming and are a great bunch one flaw though is the stewards they just don't do their job properly and don't seem to care but don't let it put you off, I used to laugh at people when they said go to a Hartlepool match you'll love it so I'm glad I bit the bullet I love Hartlepool and I love the ground and fans, if your ever in Hartlepool go to a match I promise you won't be disappointed UTP NSD
James L — Google review
quite easy to find , no away supporters parking when we visited but there are several on street disabled bays just up from the club shop and entrance . stewards were helpful when directing us to the away supporters entrance and turnstiles. once inside we had been allocated tickets in a closed off area of the ground ( pre-season match) but were soon redirected to a block in the corner of the ground - not ideal viewing , prefer to be nearer the centre line to watch the whole pitch. was not impressed with the stewards - we were told to sit in block j only , yet others from our supporters sat in better seats and no effort from the club to do anything. we had a steward stood in our line of vision the entire match, blocking our view of the away end and dugouts where our team was ( after the match our manager said he had no idea where we all were !) . we also had hartlepool fans in our block , who stood bottles of drink along the wall in front of us , again blocking our view. after travelling two and a half hours , the view was very disappointing - i wish we could have had the choice to sit where we wanted as it was only a preseason friendly . block j was probably the worst view in the entire ground and we felt isolated from our team - nowhere near them in warm ups nor able to see that part of the pitch. not a ground i'd want to return to especially with the poor attitude of the steward. we paid to watch a match, not him.

Standard league 2 ground .Good away end for noise but poor facilities and annoying jobsworth stewards. Good atmosphere from home fans, but ditch the drum.

Always a brilliant afternoon at Victoria Park! No matter the result The atmosphere supporting Hartlepool United is as vibrant electric, and it's clear. And let me tell you, they've got the refreshments spot on. The burgers are still top-notch – so tasty! The beers are perfectly refreshing, and this time I also tried the coffee, which was surprisingly good – a proper warm-up on a chilly day. Getting to the ground was straightforward too; it's well-signposted and easy to find. All in all, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Great football experience for an football fan , great food and drink, and easy access – what more could you ask for?
Ellis M — Google review
Very rude staff that worked in the food bar you don’t even get to keep your lid on your bottle off pop which makes it difficult to carry everything I asked if I could keep the lid on she abruptly said no they don’t give you lids are your ground it wasn’t a issue to me if it was healthy and safety the point of this review was to show Middlesbrough ground does provide bottle lids 👍 toilets where awful no lights working no hand dryer working water and tissue all over the floor and toilets didn’t flush very badly organised place

Dire food, plastic chips, two grumpy women serving that have no customer skills! Nice ground, sound travels well, great home fans and decent effort put in by a small group of younger fans to get behind their team. Good luck next season

A decent ground overall Certainly good enough for league standard but unfortunatley the club has fallen on hard times in recent years and finds itself in the National league .The ground has improved greatly over the years with the contruction of two new stands the Cyril Knowles Stand which is smart single tierd stand raised above ground level .The other side is the Caneron Brewery stand which has covered seating to the rear and an open terace at the front overall its a decent stay out here Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling i big fan off Hartlepool

The Andy Capp Statue is a charming tribute nestled in a small grassy area adjacent to a local pub, making it an inviting spot for visitors. This well-crafted sculpture captures the essence of the beloved cartoon character and is maintained in pristine condition. A helpful tourist sign directs you from a block away, ensuring you won't miss this delightful landmark. Just across the road, you'll find stairs leading down to the beach where another mural featuring Andy Capp and his wife Flo adds to the experience.
You can't go to the Headland without visiting Verrills for fish and chips and going to see this little fella to have a chat with him. I love the fact he gets dressed up on special occasions and is often adorned with the occasional real scarf.

William Etty, a talented English woodcarver, mason, and sculptor hailing from York, has left an indelible mark on the art scene. His impressive statue crafted from Portland stone stands proudly outside the York Museum since 1911. Children's amusement center
I have visited here numerous times with my now 1 year old daughter. It's always so clean and tidy on arrival and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We love how cheap it is for entry and food and drinks. The environment is always so clean which I love due to babies crawling around or putting objects in their mouth. Everything looks brand new and well kept. I booked a private party for my daughters birthday and was very impressed. It was perfect for all her friends, aged from 6 months to 6 years. It's definitely our favourite place to visit in the town ☺️ thank you for having us and we'll see you again very soon xx

Booked tickets for a Halloween party here for my 4 year old son. This was my first ever visit with him and I won't visit again purely because I feel he's too old for the experience. It's more catered for younger children / toddlers, and he's just started primary school, so it is a little too advanced for this type of setting. (This may not be the case for every 4 year old though). He got to meet Bluey - as part of the party ticket. However, I was slightly disappointed that there were no food or drinks included for the price of the ticket (£10). These had to be purchased separately. Setting is quite small. I do think the idea is a great idea for little children. However, I can imagine when it's busy, it being too crammed for its size. (You may have to book in advance to attend). There is no allocated parking for the venue either. Food prices were reasonable. Staff are friendly.

Me and my little boy have been coming here for a while now. He absolutely loves it and loves making new friends while he's playing. The staff are amazing so thank you to you all for making the kids feel like they have somewhere safe to play

Been here twice with my 2.5 year old and he absolutely loves it, they have several different rooms and each one is fantastic, it kept him entertained for at least an hour. It’s a clean and safe environment for all ages. Even has a bit from one walkers which is equipped with lots of lovely stuff. Also the staff are very friendly and helpful they also have a lovely menu and a great variety of food and drinks at reasonable prices.

Brilliant morning again at let’s pretend. One of our favourite places to go. Such good value, both entrance and food. (I might be addicted to their toasties!). The biggest plus is the ladies are who run it, they make you feel so welcome and like family. I will be so disappointed when my smallest is too old to come! If you get the chance their special events are well .. special! They have become essentials markers in our calendar! From the elf on the shelf to bubble man and dino man we love it. Thank you.

The best place in the area to take small kids. So well ran, food is great and so is the coffee. Really well priced, they could charge double and I'd still pay it

Me and my daughter Ivy have been coming here for a couple years and will continue to do so. The staff are friendly and welcoming, each play area and toys inside are suitable for children of them ages my daughter has lots of fun traversing from area to area inside. When events come round it’s always worth going to it’s a day to remember and the price all together is really worth it. We feel comfortable in there and safe. All around a 5 star review. I couldn’t thank the staff more for the times we’ve had there and looking after us. ❤️
