Resorts World Casino New York City, located in the suburbs near JFK airport, offers a variety of slot machines and table games. The establishment features a food court and bars for its guests to enjoy. At check-in, security checks for vaccination or covid testing to ensure safety measures are being taken. Plexiglass partitions separate players at the gaming tables while penny and nickel bets are accepted. While some areas of the parking lot may be treacherous, the RW Grill provides excellent dining options.
Has a really big parking lot and a parking garage as well. The entrance is easy to see from a distance and is wheelchair accessible. You can just ride up in a wheelchair accessible vehicle and get dropped off and you can easily get in the front entrance doors. Also located right near JFK airport, it's a nice place to go when heading back home from your vacation

This is for the casino in resorts world. I didn't stay at the hotel. It can get a bit crowded. Personally, I don't like sitting next to strangers when I'm playing slots, so perhaps I'll visit in the daytime next time. You can take the A train right there. They send a free shuttle from the train to the resort/ casino, but you can ultimately walk like 7-8 minutes. Visit with a friend, I found it to have a lot of questionable people walking around wondering, hovering, so beware. Its non smoking so thats a plus but good luck finiding a waitress. Didnt win but, everyone knows thay these games are rigged. All in all, it's a cool experience. I will be going back.
Jari-Ann J — Google review
Often stay for business. Lobby and staff are wonderful. Security is tight, as it's attached to the casino. Clean, sleek and modern lobby and rooms. There are restaurants on the premises, but you have to check on hours of operation. Small coffee bar in lobby offering snacks, sandwiches and other food items. Coffee and bagel special for $5. Great deal, and open very early in the morning. Rooms are very spacious, clean, well appointed with almost everything you need, except for a microwave. Bed has crisp sheets, comfortable mattress and pillows. Love the fact the floors are not carpeted. Shower pressure is good. Separate water closet. A definite recommendation.
Rose R — Google review
World Resorts Casino, Queens, NY — nice and busy. The casino floor was buzzing with slots, poker tables, and a variety of games, all well-attended. Lively and welcoming vibes. A solid choice for a bustling casino experience.

This was a pleasurable stay. Most hotels near JFK airport are lousy. Check in was quick and easy. 10 dollar credit was a surprised for breakfast. I appreciate good service and I tip the bellhop. My room was lovely and the couch was comfortable to sit in. I just came of a flight from Singapore and I should have taken photos before we unpack. The shower was great and everything works The casino was a nice addition to the hotel. The many restaurants to eat was awesome. Thank you for this lovely stay.
Caesar A — Google review
I had the chance to revisit resorts Casino last year, they now have a Sugar Factory. They have a Baccarat but I didn’t get the chance to stop by yet. I had a great time, I played a couple slots and have fun dancing. The overall experience was great.

Resorts World Casino New York City, the only casino within the five boroughs, is a major entertainment and gaming complex located in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens. Situated at the historic Aqueduct Racetrack, the facility opened in 2011, transforming the venue into a vibrant, multi-level destination operated by the global Genting Group. It has since become a popular spot for gaming, dining, and live entertainment. The complex features over 5,800 electronic table games and slot machines across two distinct gaming areas: the energetic, Times Square-inspired casino on the first floor and the more luxurious, high-stakes Fifth Avenue Casino on the second. Its extensive offerings have made it a significant economic engine, contributing billions of dollars to New York's education system since its opening. Beyond gaming, Resorts World provides a diverse range of dining options, including upscale eateries like RW Prime steakhouse and the whimsical Sugar Factory. The resort also offers a variety of live entertainment, with a 360-degree bar serving as a central hub for music and performances. In 2021, the complex expanded with the addition of the Hyatt Regency JFK Airport at Resorts World, a 400-room hotel that transformed the location into a full-fledged resort destination. This expansion further solidified Resorts World's position as a premier leisure destination in New York City.

Nestled in the serene Rufus King Park in Jamaica, the King Manor Museum stands as a testament to American history and the legacy of Rufus King, a prominent figure who signed the Constitution and championed anti-slavery efforts. This historic house museum, dating back to 1806, aims to make history accessible and engaging for all ages through informative tours and interactive programs. Visitors can delve into the life of Rufus King while gaining insights into 19th-century Southeast Queens.
Beautiful historical mansion right in the middle of Jamaica, Queens. Beautiful grounds are an oasis of calm in a busy neighborhood. This was the home of Rufus King (1755-1827), a Founding Father and US Senator. He was the presidential nominee for the Federalist Party in 1816, in which he was defeated by James Monroe. Rufus King was a prominent opponent of slavery, even though he was a slaveholder as a young man. His son John Alsop King (1788-1867) also lived at the mansion. He was governor of New York from 1857 to 1858. Our tour guide today was great and very knowledgeable.

A short tour of a historic house in the heart of Queens. Friendly and dedicated staff.
Mahir A — Google review
I have lived in Queens for 3 decades and today was my first time visiting the museum. What a gem in the middle of a busy commercial hub! I did not make a reservation. I just rolled up while passing by after a business meeting. The wait to be admitted to the museum was short. There was one staffer onsite -- I believe her name was Veronica. She was personable, friendly, passionate about the history of the house and very knowledgeable about the tiniest details of the house and surrounding area. She helped bring the tour to life and was eager to answer all questions. The architecture and exhibits are phenomenal. Even the antique smell of the home was interesting. The design of the house was carefully crafted to preserve the social and class norms of its time - a world in which New York's elite families and it's working class servants navigated living spaces without encroaching on each other's space. The house is deceptively large and beautifully preserved. I highly recommend visiting it to learn more about the history of a wide range of people of all races, cultures and social classes who contributed to the Jamaica NY area. Thank you King Manor. You just won a fan and a supporter
Jax D — Google review
Interesting place to visit and learn about history. Went on a weekday, the tours run every hour on the hour - I'm not sure if it was possible to walk through the house without the tour, the guide was very informative and definitely enhanced the experience.
India F — Google review
A disappointing attempt at visiting. I was released early from jury service and decided to visit this museum before returning to work. I saw online that guided tours were offered on the hour and decided to try to join one at 1pm. When I arrived and rang the bell, a staff member answered it and let me know she was busy with other work— preparing labels for an upcoming exhibition—and I’d have to come back later. I understand the staff is small, but if this museum is not actually able to accommodate their stated tour times, they should require advance registration. It would’ve saved me the disappointment and both me and the staff member some time.
Jaden Y — Google review
Surprisingly well preserved and beautifully curated museum. There are lots of pieces donated directly from the descendants of the family. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of details bout individual rooms and the Kings family. There were no other visitors, so we had as long as we wanted to look around and take pictures.
Maria K — Google review
Great place to visit. Free guided tours with knowledgeable guides. Awesome place to bring young students to learn some of New York and American History. If you're a tourist I would highly recommend said place.
Stewart B — Google review
We had the priveledge of having a private tour because we were the only ones there that day. It was nice being able to ask all the questions we wanted and to have all the attention. My children love visiting museums and old historic homes to learn about how people lived years ago compared to today. These are trips that we treasure as a homeschooling family. I can't believe I grew up in Queens and did not know about a lot of these places that have been around for decades. I'm grateful that they are being taken care of and preserved for future generations to come.

Nature & Parks
Baisley Pond Park in South Jamaica offers a serene environment with various amenities including sports fields, playgrounds, and BBQ areas. The park features a picturesque pond with beautiful giant-sized lily pads and large birds can often be seen strolling about the area. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions such as a beautiful garden and gazebo where the remains of an American Mastodon were discovered in the late 1800s.
Very nice park that is walkable from many airport hotels like Marriott, Hamptons and Residence Inn. This is like a big community park in Jamaica. It has a pond and picnic area. Then the other side is the area for playing outdoor sports like football/soccer,etc. Good place to unwind and walk around.
Larraine C — Google review
Beautiful park to hang out for a picnic, or just a regular day in the park with the kids. They have a decent size playing gorund for the little ones. They have a pond that has fishes and turtles. I was there for labor day and it was vibrant, fun and entertaining. I highly recommend this park.
Taneisha T — Google review
This park is huge, plenty of parking space available. If you're having a picnic with friend and family it's a must go place. The park is clean, well maintained, and full of greenery. There are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the view, and the walking paths are wide and smooth.Highly recommended for anyone who loves nature and tranquility!

Baisley Pond Park is a public park located in the southeastern part of Queens, New York City, bordering the neighborhoods of South Jamaica, Rochdale, and St. Albans. It covers 109.61 acres (44.36 ha), including the 30-acre (12 ha) Baisley Pond in the center of the park. It is maintained by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. Baisley Pond is located in the Jamaica Bay watershed of western Long Island, where the intersection of 130th Avenue and 150th Street would be.[8] It was formed in the 18th century, when local farmers dammed three streams to power a grain mill. It was named for David Baisley, a farmer who owned the mill in the early 19th century.[1][9] In 1852, the burgeoning City of Brooklyn acquired the pond from Baisley for its new water system.[1][10] On April 6, 1858, while draining the lake for use as a reservoir, the remains of an American mastodon (similar to a mammoth) were discovered at the bottom of the pond. The remains included bones and teeth.[1][10] By that year, water from the pond was being transported through the Ridgewood Aqueduct (or "conduit") and then pumped uphill to the Ridgewood Reservoir, from which it was distributed to Brooklyn neighborhoods. As the city grew this water system was expanded to include additional bodies of water in what are today Queens and Nassau counties. Eventually farmers in this area complained that the local water table was being depleted. In 1898, after Brooklyn became a borough of the City of New York, the pond was connected to New York's larger and more reliable upstate water system, and the old Brooklyn system, including Baisley Pond, was no longer used as a water source

A 9-acre neighborhood green space with a small pond with wildlife, a walking trail & a playground.
What a perfect way to start the day... a morning walk is just what I needed! 🌄 Whenever I feel overwhelmed or bored with my studies, I love taking a break and coming to park to clear my mind. There's something about being in nature that helps me relax and recharge. I can leave my books and notes behind for a little while and simply enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. It's the perfect way to refresh my mind and come back to my studies with renewed energy and focus!
Idrees M — Google review
Nice pond, lots of shade, decent playground and walking paths. Some interesting monuments. Could be better maintained. Up the hill from Jamaica and down the hill from Flushing High School.
Thomas C — Google review
Captain Tilly Park is a beautiful, small neighborhood park that excels as a peaceful sanctuary, though its potential is continually undercut by a lack of proper upkeep. What’s Good? The park offers excellent tree coverage and is a fantastic spot for a variety of activities: walking your dog, running, or just a peaceful stroll. While open areas are limited, the abundant shade and natural feel make it perfect for quiet enjoyment. The opportunity for goose and turtle watching adds a nice touch of nature. Plus, the new public restrooms and ample benches are huge benefits. The park is most active after 2 p.m. The Not-So-Good: The main issue is the overall cleanliness. The poorly maintained paths and the constant presence of trash and discarded garbage bags are truly disheartening. I've personally seen two dedicated, community-minded individuals picking up litter on their own—God bless them—but this vital job shouldn't fall solely to volunteers. Bottom Line: It's a wonderful little park, but the Community Board should take immediate action. Regular maintenance and organized "Clean Your Park Days" would transform this space from a decent local spot to a spectacular community asset.
Sherry V — Google review
Very cute spot if you're local and want to have a nice walk, see some goose, ducks, and turtles. Little playground for children as well
Simkho B — Google review

Amazing tennis courts at this park with ample lighting so you continue to play till closing!
Saddid A — Google review
I was just passing through the area and not really using the park but I did go in as I waited for someone. I saw military personnel training cadets yelling at them to stop walking and start running. There were also plenty of other people visiting the park. I did notice that the bathroom was fully operational.
Polo B — Google review
A typical park, decent scenery and variety from football, soccer, track, tennis, and basketball courts. It's sometimes unkept and packed with people. Not the best neighborhood to be in.
Joshua M — Google review
This is a decent area to bring the kids swimming and for sports. The playground needs updating and some of the people hanging around shouldn't be...when I lived over nearby, the upkeep with the playground was much better. The staff at the pool and the staff for the sports programs are very professional and organized. I enjoyed taking my campers there.
Crys P — Google review
Nice park but restroom toilets do not flush

The park is great for hanging with the family or friends, but the pool has way too many restrictions.

Carnesecca Arena is a classic and exciting venue for college athletics, with a rich history that spans over 40 years. It has been home to legendary teams and coaches, offering top-notch programs for both men's and women's basketball as well as volleyball. The arena provides a family-friendly atmosphere, making it suitable for fans of all ages. While the seating may be slightly cramped, the sightlines are great from every section, creating an intimate and nostalgic experience.
Really nice facility. Even with a crazy excited crowd, the security and staff were professional and efficient. Had a great time!! Thank you.
Stanislav V — Google review
A legendary court and venue. Classic small "gym" atmosphere. Good lighting. Seating can be a bit cramped and leg room somewhat tight. But overall great sightlines from any section. Not overly loud or rowdy behavior. Some limited food and beverage selection. Friendly staff and a super lobby rotunda with the legacy of St John's basketball. A must see if you enjoy nostalgic arenas.
Kevin K — Google review
Its a nice arena. There are scanners when entering, we went in the summer for a graduation ceremony. The area with th3 concession was so hot. There is no central air there. When getting to the arena you finally get hit with some cool air. The seats are comfy and look new. We had no trouble entering or exiting. Just wish the air was cool throughout the building.

The school I work at had their graduation here. The place was immaculate, huge and extremely well prepared. All the staff were professional and very attentive. The students had a wonderful time.
Rob K — Google review
Been coming here 40+ plus years and it is still a fun and exciting venue for college athletics. I was fortunate enough to see Coach Carnesecca in action for some of his best teams and seasons. The women’s basketball program is also top notch as well as the women’s volleyball program, both play their home games here in “Louie’s House.” Carnesecca arena is family friendly, especially for the younger kids.
Matt D — Google review
This is fantastic venue for a college basketball 🏀 game. Good views fun anywhere in the house. Simple but appetizing concession options, easy/fast entry, and did I say lots of free parking? It's true! You can often get good tickets ticket🎟️ for $6. If you like a good ball and live in Queens, you need to give this a try.

Nice local park for the kids to run around. Has several areas like handball/ basketball courts, playground/swings, skateboard area, adult fitness area plus a race track. Also has sitting areas with tables. Only bad side to it, you have your occasional weed smokers pass through and the restrooms are hardly open.

Tandi S — Google review
This park is almost fully covered by trees and so you'll rarely have to worry about being directly in the sun. The entire park must have recently renovated because everything looks new and up-to- date. It is age appropriate from infants up to adults. It is definitely one of my new favorites.

When theater workout have a nice workout area in the park is very spacious, I've lived around the area for many years of course I don't live there anymore but I still visit in the new upgrades had something for everybody
Mark H — Google review
People hog the few tables there are. There was one that was empty but someone had left their backpack and skateboard on it to "save" it, preventing others from using it. There was a different table where someone also left their backpack to "save" the table. And then the other table was occupied by a girl who used it to prop her phone up on the table so that she could text. This table could have been used by a family of 4. She could have just sat on the numerous benches around the park. Someone needs to do something about these table hoggers.
