This restaurant is one of absolutely faves! It is *always* a 5-star experience here! From the food and the cocktails, to the service and the view, everything is impeccable! The view is of the Manhattan skyline and they have an outdoor section for you to use to take pictures or just enjoy the fresh air. The service is always excellent. And the food and cocktails are always on point. This time, I came here with a group of 13 for my husband's surprise birthday dinner celebration! I've been here a few times before with just him on romantic dates, celebrating our anniversary. The way the staff accommodated our surprise was great, too! Having his name on the menu was the perfect touch, as well! Looking forward to many more dinners here!

The best view of downtown Manhattan and its iconic skyscrapers — absolutely breathtaking, especially with the calming Hudson River right in front of you. Food was just as impressive: the oysters were fresh and delicious, the steak perfectly tender, and the salad and soup both flavorful and satisfying. Everything came in generous servings, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. A perfect spot for both the view and the food — truly worth visiting!

This restaurant offers a breathtaking view of Manhattan over the Hudson River, creating a romantic ambiance. They take reservations, but window-side tables are first-come, first-served. We waited patiently for 10-15 minutes, hoping to secure a window-side table, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available. We inquired about the availability of window-side tables again, and the waiter informed us that we could wait another 20 minutes. However, after enduring a long wait, we decided not to pursue it. (We had a relative visiting from another country, and we wanted to show her the view.) My husband and I opted for the Caesar salad and crab cake, which were both delicious. I indulged in the shrimp and lobster carbonara, while my husband chose the sole on fire. Our relative opted for the halibut. After finishing our crab cake, we waited for approximately 20 minutes before our food arrived. Despite the deliciousness of the food, the prices were quite high. To our surprise, there were outside tables available after we finished our dinner. When we inquired about the availability of window-side tables, the staff seemed indifferent and didn’t inform us about the outside tables. It was Friday night, and the restaurant was undoubtedly busy, but it appeared that they didn’t prioritize accommodating our request. To add to our disappointment, they also charge $15.00 for valet parking.

This restaurant has an amazing view of New York City. Definitely a great spot for date night. The food was good although my wife ordered the sea bass and didn't really enjoy it. The drinks were great and they have some cocktails that definitely will catch the eye. Overall would definitely recommend.

The place is very nice the view and the food were tasteful👌🏼. My only issue was that they need to ask on the reservation if you would like to sit by the window or by the booth. The waiter could've been more aware and attentive. Overall, I do want to go back. Just would like it if they didn't make you feel rushed.

I highly recommend Chart House, NJ. We finished our trip to NYC with an amazing dinner experience. From our first Cocktails to our after dinner drinks, the bar service was incredible. My wife especially enjoyed a Mango Mojito. We deliberately enjoyed a relaxed evening, choosing to order each course at different times. Thus, allowing us to thoroughly absorb the unobstructed views of the Manhattan nighttime skyline. We shared the National Seafood Month special. It consisted of Lobster bisque, and a surf & turf steak/shrimp combination. As if that was not enough the brought us a mini chocolate lava cake with ice cream topped with crumbled toffee sprinkles. I can not say enough about the all the staff. They catered to our needs and made us feel special. I will go as far to say simply one of the best overall dinner experiences I have had in NYC.

We celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary at Chart House and had the most beautiful experience. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our waiter (who we were shocked to find out was only three days into the job) was an absolute natural. He was so personable, attentive, and efficient, truly making us feel cared for. Hans, the manager, also stopped by to check in on us and was just as kind and welcoming. After learning we were celebrating our anniversary, he generously surprised us with complimentary desserts, which was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. The food was delicious, the views were stunning, and the service was unmatched. We left feeling full, grateful, and so happy with our choice to celebrate there. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a great night out — you won’t be disappointed!

1. Food. OVERPRICED and Mid. My plate was $41. Something so simple. I don’t know what I was expecting but what I got was definitely NOT worth $41. I’ve gone to the most luxurious restaurants and their plates aren’t even this much for something simple. I think people overhype this place up. If you want to bring your own dessert, they charge I think $3 or $5 JUST to bring it. 2. Service. It was okay. Don’t get tricked with the “would you like guacamole for appetizer?”question. Just the guacamole is $20 off the bat without giving you the menu. Also, watch out because they will give you the wrong receipt. I did love that the workers helped one another. If someone got too busy, another worker would somewhat take over. 3. Atmosphere. The place is insta worthy. The view is phenomenal. You can see the skyline of NYC/Hudson River. The “rooftop” is like on the side of the restaurant, not on the actual roof of the restaurant. Kind of deceiving based off the pictures 😭. LOVE that it is supportive of the LGBTQ community☺️ Also very crowded and overwhelming 😭 4. Music. The music was GREAT. They played alllllll types of genres. Whoever had the aux, you deserve a kiss on the forehead. 5. Tips. Already included. They charged us the 18%. 6. Parking. I have NO idea how cars can fit in that small parking lot. It’s valet parking. A $10 charge per vehicle. I’m better off parking on the street. Note: We drove almost 2 hours here, thinking it was going to be worth it. Definitely not. Ur better off getting Mexican food from your local Mexican restaurant.

This place gets a five out of five because they serve delicious traditional food. The service is okay, but the outdoor atmosphere offers a wonderful view of New York City. You definitely have to visit this place.

Absolutely loved the food! The guacamole was a standout – freshly made right in front of us, which was not only delicious but also fascinating to watch. A must-try for anyone who appreciates authentic Mexican flavors and a great dining experience.

Delicious food! Their chicken tacos are amazing and the guacamole is made right at the table. Go during the warmer weather so you can sit outside and enjoy the NYC skyline. The passion fruit mezcal was a 10/10!

For the prices and everything it should definitely be better. Hospitality needs a massive fixing. Views are great but only if you are lucky you get them. Overall, I would not recommend especially for vegetarian and vegan folks. Massively disappointed they said outside closes at 9:30 but then others were still sitting and they sat folks at 9:25 outside which is weird.

We got to enjoy an evening outside, but the whole place seems cute! Huge serving sizes, we totally could have split the combo. A very classic Mexican place

What can I say great view great atmosphere. I went to celebrate my wife's birthday and our friend birthday, I understand it was Winter and the outside was closed but there was no music as we thought that will be. Most likely it's a great place in summertime not in winter. As for the food in the evening there was not a lot of variety, our food arrived cold so that was a little bit uncomfortable to eat. I am sure this place have great potential when the weather allowed that.

I visited NoHu Rooftop just once, but it left a lasting impression! The standout feature is without a doubt the breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline and the river—absolutely stunning, especially as the sun sets. The open rooftop space is beautifully designed, with plenty of room to relax and take in the scenery. The bonfire adds a warm, romantic touch in the evening, making the atmosphere even more special. It’s a perfect spot for a date night or just to unwind with a drink and a view. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want a memorable rooftop experience!

I heard about this spot from a video on IG and it was a beautiful spot with an even better view of the midtown Manhattan skyline! Right by the ferry and a 3-minute walk to the NJ Light Rail, right on the water and takes reservations! I was able to make a reservation a few hours before and have a perfect table for sunset right on the edge. WOW! Champagne toast for SURE! Highly recommend this spot for a sunset HH on the rooftop! It is a massive patio with lots of room to see the skyline!

This place is stunning. Gorgeous rooftop bar with breathtaking views of Manhattan. Unfortunately it’s tainted by some of the rudest staff I’ve ever met. From all 3 bartenders, the heavy, blond (manager?), the hostess to the busboy. Crappy attitudes from the time we walked in. You know the “being looked up and down, followed by the eye roll”? We had just gotten into town from a 15 hr drive and wanted a drink and relax. We weren’t wearing our Gucci outfits or carrying our fake LV bags so we must have been less than worthy of their time. And that’s exactly how they made us feel. I will never go back to this awful place.

The view was absolutely stunning, and the food was delicious. What truly made our visit unforgettable was the outstanding service from Sheila—she was incredibly kind and attentive. I definitely plan to come back with my parents. Highly recommended!

I went to celebrate my birthday. I had heard that this was a nice establishment, a little on the high-end but not too fancy. It was. The view and atmosphere are amazing. The food was decent. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the service. I expected more from a high-end restaurant. None of the servers or staff introduced themselves, from the hostess to my server. I like to address ppl by name and had to ask their's. I didn't ask the server's name because at that point it was a pattern. They didn't bring napkins, my sister's food was bland, and they had originally given us the wrong order. Overall, I enjoyed my day and will give it another chance. My birthday was on a Tuesday, maybe that was just an off day for them.

Reservation was super easy, and the staff was both friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely amazing — I’m a tough critic when it comes to seafood, and everything here was incredibly fresh and flavorful. We tried the Seafood Tower (highly recommend — it’s the chef’s top picks) along with the octopus, which was perfectly tender, and shrimp in a sauce that was out of this world. Drinks were crafted beautifully, and you really can’t beat the view. A fantastic experience all around!

I've been here a few times, and have never been disappointed by the food, drinks, or service. Everything is top tier! Most recently I was there for after dinner drinks to celebrate 2 of my close friends' birthdays. The smoked reposado tequila old fashioned was delicious, and so was my reposado espresso martini. My very first time there I was there for a friend's birthday dinner. I never posted any reviews from prior visits, so I will include some pics here. Every part of that meal was delicious and perfect.. from the apps to the desserts and the drinks! *chef's kiss* Wish I could remember what exactly we ordered other than the oysters, burrata, and steaks... I may not remember the names of the other things, but I remember them being delicious!

My beautiful sister and I went here to dine for my 29th birthday. Words cannot describe how elegant and gorgeous this place was. We were greeted from the doormen and seated exceptionally fast for our reservation even though we were a tad bit late. Our Amazing host for the night by the name of “ Trevor “ was phenomenal ! Not only did he make sure drinks were promptly served, he also made sure our order was token right away being that we already studied the menu and knew what we wanted. The food was delicious exceeding our expectations, the flavors was very rich and it did not disappoint. Trevor made sure our glasses stayed full and he made us feel welcomed throughout the whole dinning experience. Towards the end of our dinner I was surprised by our outstanding host with a birthday treat which made me very emotional ! That he even went out his way to acknowledge my birthday multiple times. With all of this being said this was the best birthday dinner of my entire life and my beautiful sister and I will study the menu more and return ! And request Trevor once more! I also have to give a big shout out to the other workers they all were professional and working so hard ! Cleaning off tables ! Refilling glasses and very professional. 100000/10 compliments to the chef as well your hard work do not go unnoticed.

I took my sister here for her birthday, and when I say this place blew our minds. From the service to the food to the atmosphere to the ambience everything was up to par and more. The food was out of this world and I don’t even have the words to describe it. The steak was cooked to perfection as well as the sauce being an excellent combination to it. Our waitress made sure to always check in on us and never had us waiting or feeling like we had to ask her for something she always knew. The manager for the night even came up to speak to our table and that was something that really meant a lot. If you’re debating on coming here then I should stop your search right here and tell you this is the spot. Great view , great service, great food.

Amazing food, atmosphere, and service. They really take care of you in there. I recommend the octopus as an app, one of the best I’ve had. I really liked how appropriate the size of the apps were and the tempo of the food coming out was perfect. Not rushed yet didn’t take long. Perfect birthday experience. The service is phenomenal, again they don’t hover or rush you but they care about your dining experience. Oh and try their cocktails. Everything is amazing just try everything lol

This is our go-to spot for team dinners. The service is top tier, food is always consistently good, and the drinks are fantastic. Every single dish is excellent. Not too loud to be able to have a large group and hear each other.

When we ordered a fillet medium, it didn’t come out medium. The staff took the steak back to the kitchen, and the server returned with the explanation that the chef advised we needed to cut the center. It was late and we were hungry, so we appreciated the quick effort. The manager compensated with a free dessert, which was a nice gesture. A couple of quirks worth noting: Dress code vs. pet policy: Hats aren’t allowed indoors, but there’s a dog on the premises—clarification from the staff would help set expectations. Drinks: The cocktails are solid, but the Manhattan came with a Sunday cherry (a small, quirky detail that felt out of place). Wine service: I ordered a bottle of wine and was offered a taste of an open bottle from the bar, which turned out to be a different bottle entirely. More accuracy and transparency would be welcome. On the upside: The rest of the food was delicious. The entry area and initial greeting feel welcoming; staff are generally friendly inside. Bottom line: If you’re in the mood for good food with a friendly team, this is worth a visit. It helps to call ahead to confirm steak doneness and to clarify the bar/wine open-bottle policy. I’d consider returning, especially if I’m not in a hurry and am craving solid dishes with attentive service.

Milo’s is a riverfront Greek Restaurant in weehowken NJ . The ambiance is excellent with its river front setting ,. We were a large party and had a reservation , the restaurant was full and very lively . The service was attentive and abundant , The food was excellent and prepared to perfection . We had a great time , it was pricy although Being in New Jersey probably expected with the amount of alcohol we consumed . I would recommend it if you are staying at a hotel or an apartment on the Hudson whilst visiting New York

We were there with 4 people for dinner. We were warmly welcomed and had a nice table by the window with a great view of the Manhattan skyline. We all enjoyed the food very much and the service was very attentive and courteous throughout the evening. We can recommend anyone to eat here. 👍⭐️

We have late lunch around 1pm and no reservation needed on weekend. The restaurant is not packed. I wouldn’t say it’s top-notch but the food is good. The seafood tower is not as fresh as I think. The clam is good but the oyster and the lobster I would say it’s average. The mussels doesn’t taste like fresh, it’s more like those defrosted one that it’s doesn’t have a “fresh” taste. So to me it’s not worth the price of $95. I would skip it next time. The octopus is super tender with the ink sauce at the bottom. The oyster risotto is good even though I can hardly taste any oyster. The black sea bass is fine. For the filet mignon we want it medium but i think it’s a bit overcooked. It’s average to me but the creamy thing next to the filet mignon is surprising. The view and vibe is great. I think night view probably better than day time view but I still enjoy the bright sunlight. Seating is comfortable.

The food, the service and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. It’s very cool to sit in New Jersey and have views of New York City. I prefer to sit outside because sometimes when I sit inside, I get a little bit of motion sickness.

Made a reservation at this place for a date night. Upon arrival found out the public parking lot near this place was $40. Upon entering the restaurant I realized it was a sports bar. And the place was packed with soccer fans as Real and Barca were playing Copa Del Rey final. There were TVs everywhere showing the game, really cool place to come with group of friends for game day. We got a table by the bar area. Another guest party was sharing the corner of our table. Just totally awkward!!! Since we were already committed, we ordered drinks and food. The salmon slider, sushi rolls and mussels were ordinary dishes. Branzino was cooked well but all other ingredients it came with in the plate, didn’t suit the dish. The bartender who was also attending our table was a friendly person. She tried her best make our dinner better. She also mistakenly gave us the wrong check that we caught after paying. But she quickly refunded the wrong charge and brought us the right check. It wasn’t the upscale dining spot that I thought it would be, but to watch a sport event with group of friends, I might consider this place.

We ordered the Delmonico steak ($44). The meat seemed good, but the side dish was very weak. I had to order extra fries. It's worth mentioning that they charged us almost $20 extra in taxes and another $$ for not paying in cash. The tip is separate. I feel like it wasn't worth it to go to dinner! The atmosphere is more for having drinks and watching soccer games, etc.The service from the entrance to the table and the waiters is Excellent!

I absolutely love popping into The Highwood when I am able to. The atmosphere, service, and food are very good. For those who can, I would also highly recommend ordering a cocktail from their menu! Especially during summertime when Jersey gets incredibly hot. Overall, my general experience over the past few years has been that it’s a friendly ambience surrounded by good people.

Great vibes and great customer service. Antonio always treats me and my company with great hospitality. Gwen was taking care of us today also and it was nothing but love. Best place to enjoy yourself and grab some drinks with good food. This place gives you a at home feel and getaway from reality at the same time. The city view is a plus. Overall 10 out of 10 experience always.

The views! Beautiful location with perfect service. We had a larger group with kids who ask tons of questions - the server was amazing. He took his time and answered them all. He also brought a small birthday dessert unexpectedly for my MIL (80th bday). We ordered several dishes so everyone could try multiple items and the food was good. Upscale dining. Outside seating is nice as well. Lots of photo worthy areas to capture your memories.

Every single thing that we ate was delicious. The experience was elevated with each food that came out. The showstopper was the dessert “The Guayabera”. Our waiter Josh was beyond nice and hospitable. The restaurant itself was very nice, great ambiance, and with great decor. Everything was better than expected. Absolutely great experience.

Truly a great place with amazing views being right by the water. Food and drinks are great. My skirt steak was cooked to perfection and the chimichurri sauce was on point. My wife loved her chicken with fried rice. Service is immaculate and the place is incredibly clean. Just come ready to spend money because it is not a cheap dinner date place.

I celebrated my friend’s birthday at this Spanish restaurant, and it was perfection from start to finish! We sat out on the terrace overlooking the NYC skyline — the view alone made the night unforgettable. The food was delicious, the drinks were strong (in the best way), and the vibe was just right for a celebration. But the real surprise? The women’s bathroom — you have to go! It’s literally a party in there — music, lights, and everyone just having fun. Such a unique touch that makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for birthdays, girls’ nights, or just when you want a night that feels like a mini vacation in the city. 💃✨

We made a reservation for a table for two. I noticed that parking in the area is difficult, but they offer valet service. We didn’t have to wait to be seated and chose the outdoor option, which was excellent. Our server was amazing, and the attention we received was outstanding.

This place defines fining dining in a casual atmosphere. Staff is extremely professional; food was impeccable. Familiar dishes all prepared in a unique way with robust flavors. Cool vibes. As frequent diners it takes a lot to impress us and we left with a smile. It is evident that the owners take their craft seriously and every aspect of this dining experience was perfection.

Fork Hill Kitchen has been a favorite of mine since we moved to Weehawken back in 2020. Pickup and takeout is always a breeze, and dining in is always such a pleasant meal and experience. I’ve waited all winter for this stone fruit salad to return to their menu, and will be enjoying it for as long as this season allows! Other favorites are their short rib, boneless chicken wings, spicy chicken sandwich, burger, Oreo cheesecake, and so much more (including their daily specials which are always a welcome surprise). Their brunches are so great too! Shrimp and grits are a favorite of mine!

Always passed by but first time stopping in. We came to celebrate Father’s Day and were warmly welcomed. The interior is nicely decorated and inviting. Food was freshly made, from scratch, and seasoned well. The Partner Ed was a pleasure to chat with and such a genuine guy. Kudos to the chef and cooks as the food was solid and what I enjoyed was their take Steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to my ideal temp and rested. The sauce was balanced did not overpower the steak. The hash-brown was crispy and loved their take on it. They used good coffee grounds and staff were warm and friendly to kids. See y’all next time!

Had the chicken sandwich - absolutely phenomenal. Cant wait to come back for an entree. My girlfriend liked her burger, home made fries were soft and crunchy with bits of coarse salt. So good. Ed the owner was so hospitable and Victoria our server was very sweet. Highly recommend for casual date night with big flavor. Will be back - definitely recommend.

Excellently fast and attentive service. The chicken cutlet sandwich is very good, better than the Cubano sandwich. Chocolate mousse is okay.

My wife and I have been coming here for the last 5 years very frequently and have NEVER had an issue with anything. The food is amazing and the seasonal menus are incredible. All the food is absolutely incredible and we’ve never had a bad meal in 5 years. Could not recommend enough.

I just moved to the area from CA, and while visiting, my dad found this neighborhood restaurant. Fork Hill was perfect! The menu is great, food was simply delicious - literally everything we ate was so yummy! The owner, Ed, came over and chatted with us and they even gave us a complimentary dessert. The service was also great. Would love to make this my regular neighborhood spot!

This used to be my favorite spot to eat, especially since they stay open late until 2AM on weekends, which is rare around here. Since the new owners took over, the quality of the food has changed a bit. It’s not as incredible as it used to be, but it’s still a solid option for a late-night bite. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. It’s always great to support small businesses, and chances are, you’ll enjoy your meal. I personally recommend the crispy chicken sandwich, it’s my go-to. Best of luck to this business moving forward!

Had the pleasure of meeting Angie, Lewis, and the owner Bob today. I look forward to trying the chicken tender Lewis recommended. Today I had a grilled chicken wrap. Portions were generous and delicious. Premium chicken with lots of flavor! My buddy had a grilled chicken salad. Like I said early make sure you get plenty and it's very fresh. Oh, and the Mango drink is rocking. The lemonade is not to sweet and definitely quiches your thrust Yum yum come get some I'll be back for sure.

My new favorite place,, I got the qt roasted chicken with yellow rice and black beans,,, oh and the garlic potatoes.. that green sauce foooogetaboutit,, its fire 🔥 if you like spicy definitely worth putting it all over. Lastly, they include a piece corn bread with your meal,, idk if the bake or make it themselves or if its ordered but that corn bread is the absolute best (sweet/moist/nice crunch), and this is coming from a person who does do corn bread!!! Can't wait to order again!!!

The food is good but not worth the price for the hassle and headache. I’ve probably ordered 10x and it’s always something. They’re close that’s the only reason it’s convenient but the chicken is VERY over priced for what you actually get. Order two pieces and I got the smallest two pieces for the already expensive fried chicken. On top of that someone should taste the mango drink before selling to customers. You guys have a really good drink but past two times it’s been awful and rates spoiled like no one bothered to taste test before selling. Give customers what they pay for and have your cashiers listen closely to orders as mine is always messed up. Also STOP putting fries in a closed container, it sweats and does not stay fresh! Always soggy and wet on arrival.

Had one delivery order from here. Pork ribs were alright, some were tender and others weren’t as well. Sauce felt like the typical one for pork rib, so nothing missing but just not my spot-on preferred flavor. Although I enjoyed what I got, not sure if I’d get the pork rib again. Still got the impression that they cook and prepare their menus properly so I’m curious about their chicken for my future try. UPDATE: changed from 4 star to 3 star as I tried their fried chicken. Fried surface was well crispy and meats were overall juicy although it varied by parts. However, the problem was that my god fried batter was extremely salty for me, just too much. So I had to cook remaining portion with veggies and rice, creating my own dish. And weirdly the chicken kept making me use restroom couple hrs after having it, although it wasn’t breaking my stomache or anything like that. Just made my stomache much more acitve.

Everything was mid. Looked and tasted like grocery rotisserie, boxed mac & cheese and packaged yellow rice all served up on a paper plate. I'd rather not eat here except nothing else is open and serving food after like 7 pm in this part of NJ. It was way too expensive when I could have gotten the same from the grocery store for 8.99 and fed the whole family.

If I wanted Kraft Mac and cheese and boxed mashed potatoes I would have just made it at home.Asked for waffle fries got this assortment of fried they just mashed together to make an order. not a great first experience definitely will be my last!

For vibes alone, The Yacht Club gets 5-stars. The food needs some tweaking. We started the afternoon outdoors and then moved indoors because we were still hungry and wanted to try some of the more substantial items on the indoor menu. Items we highly recommend include the Yacht Tots - we ordered twice they were that good and indoors we loved the crawfish sausage rolls, the lobster roll and the shrimp cocktail. The lobster salad ($60) that is served on the Lido Deck desperately needs to be retooled. Service is great and on a nice sunny day that outdoor deck is absolutely sublime. Great addition to NYC waterfront/rooftop scene. Also good to keep in mind that it can get quite expensive, quite quickly. The two of us had 2 cocktails each, 1 glass of wine each, and mostly appetizer type dishes and the total came to over $500 (between our time outdoors and indoors).

The place is amazing, with the largest terrace and a beautiful view. The service was a bit disappointing: they brought appetizers first, then cocktails. Since we were sitting on the terrace, service took a very long time. But the waitresses were quite friendly.

The Yacht Club is a beautiful venue, and the outdoor space is a total vibe. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted and guided upstairs, and once you hit the rooftop, it truly feels like a mini vacation on 12th Avenue. That said, the service needs serious improvement. We waited an unreasonably long time for both drinks and food, which made no sense considering there were only three tables dining inside. Our waiter didn’t know the menu or what was available at the bar, and once the Tito’s ran out, only bottom-shelf vodka or Belvedere were left. When we moved from the indoor dining room to the outside bar, service improved slightly, but there was still noticeable disorganization - servers wandering around unsure where to bring food. At one point, the manager even had a “pow wow” with the outside bar staff, speaking to them as if they were incompetent, specifically on how the wine should be sold. Not exactly a confidence boost for guests overhearing it. The food presentation overall needs some improvement. The lobster roll was delicious, meaty and flavorful- however, for the price it should come with a side, they put home made chips in there which could have just been on the plate, or add fries or a small salad. The menu felt limited, heavily seafood-focused, and when someone in our group asked for chicken on their salad, it wasn’t available. The shrimp Caesar salad was a bit pathetic and the ceviche was non existent however, whatever was there was packing some spice. This place has so much potential thanks to its gorgeous setting and prime location. If they can get the service and menu consistency right, it could easily become a standout spot—just hoping it doesn’t turn into an overly pretentious scene.

Wonderful space with amazing views of the city. Definitely a summer hangout and quietly hidden away. Like all Crew joints the food was incredible and we can’t stop talking about the caviar tater-tots!

Amazing experience at The Yacht Club! Fresh oysters and seafood tower were delicious, service outstanding, great wine and cocktails. Friendly staff in beautiful uniforms, stunning design and views. We truly enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

The waterfront views here are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset, and make the perfect backdrop for a relaxed meal! The seafood is incredibly fresh and prepared with care, from perfectly chilled oysters to expertly grilled daily catches. Every dish feels both elevated and comforting, and it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Had a graduation party for my son in the patio and it was a huge success! The patio space was perfect with a view to match. The only downside is that the patio is not air conditioned so it got pretty warm in there for our large group. It didn’t help that it was a heatwave weekend. They printed out personalized menus, which was a nice touch. The food came out pretty fast and drinks were included. The portions are a decent size and the food was tasty. Highly recommend this place for the view, the ambiance and the great service. Ashley was wonderful in coordinating the party. The pre-fixe brunch was very affordable too. We will definitely be back.

A bit disappointed, to be honest. I had high expectations for this restaurant, but from the start things felt a bit disorganized. We had a reservation, yet when we arrived there was no table available. The initial response was to wait at the bar (which had no space either). After a while we asked again, and were simply told there were too many parties and they were still trying to seat us. We were about to leave when they finally gave us a table. I ordered the filet mignon, which came overcooked and a bit dry. The pineapple tres leches dessert tasted more like a regular cake than a proper tres leches. The place itself is beautiful, but it definitely felt disorganized, and the food didn’t really impress me.

Celebrated my cousin's 50th birthday at this beautiful and vibrant Blend. Loved the waterfront views through large windows while dining. The coconut flan was a 10 BUT I love anything coconut so I might be biased 😋 😆 the staff was friendly and attentive. The rating was dropped to 4 stars because of the long wait for the food to come out AND check out/bill pay. But I'd definitely go back

My recent visit to Blend on the Ocean was somewhat disappointing, especially given the restaurant’s reputation and the fact that it wasn’t very busy at the time. Despite the low crowd, the wait for our food was unusually long. I noticed several tables that were seated after us receiving their meals well before ours. The staff appeared somewhat indifferent to the delay, which made the experience more frustrating. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, he was courteous, checked on our order, and offered a discount, which I appreciated. However, when the food finally arrived, it didn’t live up to expectations. The chicken was dry, as if it had been reheated with fresh cheese added on top. The plantains were the highlight of the meal—well-cooked and flavorful—while the rice was just average. Overall, while the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and potential, the service and food quality on this visit fell short of expectations. I hope my experience was an isolated one, as the location and concept deserve better consistency and care.

Blend on the Water is always an experience. Great vibes and the atmosphere always sings of immaculate date nights, good conversation, and can be for multiple couples or just a romantic relationship night out. The food is complimentary to the atmosphere which means you’ll never be disappointed in a night at Blend. Maybe with the waiting time so I’d definitely urge you to make a reservation, but once you’re seated, let the great night begin.

I really wish I had chosen a different restaurant. While the ambiance is nice, everything else was a huge disappointment. The pasta was undercooked and came out completely dry—no sauce at all—and the shrimp was also undercooked. The dish was bland and honestly inedible. We also ordered the mac and cheese, which was just as bad: flavorless, no breadcrumbs, and felt like something thrown together with no effort. To make matters worse, the service was terrible. The restaurant was so loud that I had to literally yell at my server just to place an order. When we first arrived, we had a blue Long Island iced tea at the bar while waiting to be seated, and it was actually hot. Not room temp—hot. Once seated, I had to ask the waiter to remake and shake our drinks to make them at least drinkable. The manager’s response was nothing but a quick apology. No attempt to make things right—not even removing the awful pasta from the bill. For the price they’re charging, this was an absolute rip-off. Bottom line: Overpriced, underwhelming food, bad drinks, poor service, and way too loud. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

One of my favorite restaurants ! I love their drinks the food everything is always a 10/10 ! Went there in the evening I will say that it can get noisy if you're trying to have a conversation, between the music and the people but something's are outside of their control :) Overall staff was amazing as usual and I love their location, great view of NYC !

I absolutely enjoyed this meal at Ruth's Chris steak house. The food was perfect, drinks were perfect, the service was excellent and they were so nice and kind! The food photos speaks for itself. I had the seared ahi tuna for an appetizer and I have had this many times and I've got to say this is probably the best appetizer dish I've ever had for seared ahi tuna. My friend had the stuffed mushrooms which were absolutely amazing. For the entree my boyfriend and I shared a tomahawk steak for two Cook's rare with blue cheese crumbles on top. They sliced it off the bone for us and drizzled it in butter. This melts in your mouth. For side I had creamed spinach and he had the asparagus with hollandaise sauce. My friend had the filet mignon with shrimp and a side of creamed spinach. Her husband had a New York strip with crumbly bleu cheese on top and for a side he had the cheesy potatoes. The portions were appropriate we were stuffed. But I still had to save room for the creme brulee which is my absolute favorite dessert. And it did not disappoint. It was absolutely perfect. This was a pretty expensive meal but it was worth every penny.

The was our 1st time at Ruth Chris. The atmosphere was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal!! They greeted us as soon as we entered and had a very welcoming attitude. The customer service was exceptional (Zac)!! He was very knowledgeable and attentive to detail. We were in town for a meeting and celebrating our anniversary!! The decorated the table with rose petals. That was a special touch and appreciated!! The food was top-notch. The steak salad and house salad were fresh and crisp. The 11oz sirloin was amazing and extremely flavorful!! The best steak of the evening!! The 2 16oz NY Strips had OUTSTANDING flavor but were a just a little tough but overall still very good. The Asparagus is one of the best I ever had. It was cooked to perfection. The cheesy au gratin potatoes were phenomenal. The bread was fresh and warm. Zac brought us out a dessert cheesecake for our anniversary!! This was an Incredible evening to end an AMAZING weekend!! Thank you for wonderful service and an amazing experience!! Side Note: parking was very easy and inexpensive for valet. It was only $10.

Best crab cake I've ever had in my life! Outstanding! The steak was tender and flavorful. We got porterhouse for 2, lamb chops, and cowboy ribeye.👍🏻 But the side dishes were too oily.😛 We ordered the mushroom, creamy spinach and asparagus, and they were already drowned in butter... but even served with a ball of extra butter on the side. 😅 Why on earth would a person need this much butter? The meat already has a lot of juicy fat... I wish the side dishes could be lighter and more refreshing to balance the steak. I felt like my vein was getting clogged by oil. 🥴 Service was ok. One of the servers who cleared our plates was very impatient and had a grumpy attitude. He probably had a bad day. 😶

I really liked that the steak was served on an extremely hot plate, so I could let it cook a bit more if I wanted. The decorative “Happy Birthday” writing on the dessert plate was also such a nice touch. On top of that, the location—with a view of the Manhattan night skyline—was truly wonderful. I really hope this restaurant continues to grow and do well. The spinach side, however, felt a bit too much like a purée, so that could be improved. Other than that, everything was great. The martini cocktail was excellent too!

Portions have shrunk. Prices have gone up. Waitress coached us into a glass of wine that was $32 per glass but did not bother to mention it. Sides used to be significantly bigger. Meet not cooked to temperature and tough. This used to be a really nice steakhouse. Sadly, not worth the trip anymore.

Great food experience! Grilled cheese sandwich with bacon, tomato soup, spicy brussel sprouts, and Jack Austin hamburger with fries. Comfort food along with good wine selections. Nice staff and attentive. Definitely returning back with friends.

Good place priced affordable. Has more of family vibe to it. Skirt stake isn’t bad at all, still not at the level of a good churrascaria in this area. Brisket is definitely the dish to try, choose it if you’re not quite sure what to order from the menu.

Came here once I discovered that the Houlihan’s next door now charges for parking. $8 for 2 hours, call me cheap but, no thanks. The food here was decent though I don’t think it was a comparable substitute to the otherwise standard food chain that is Houlihan’s. We had the sweet and salty rolls which would have tasted better if they were free, (paid around ~$8 for it as a starter, disappointed). I had a burger, BF had a steak. Overall decent food but the service was slow. Lemonade is from a gallon jug, tasted like the Turkey Hill brand, skip it.

Have been living in Weehawken for several years. Saw some of the review on yelp and google made me nervous. Took a leap and tried it out and surprising this place is really good with a nice atmosphere. Had the shrimp and grits which was good. The bartender was good as well. Sorry for the guts picture big in before taking it.

Has the French toast with crispy bacon this morning. You guys knocked it out of the park. The fruit was fresh the French toast was hot and tasty, and Vermont maple syrup was perfect! Paired with fresh orange juice they made for a perfect start to the day. Located inside of the Sheridan Lincoln Harbor Hotel this restaurant serves a delicious breakfast and soon will be open again for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Due to my point status this was a complementary meal from the hotel but would run you about 20$ if paid separately.

Recently we enjoyed an excellent dinner with great service at Jack Austin's. We were happy to be seated outdoors where we could watch the afterglow of the sunset on the midtown skyline across the river. The pork chop was moist and cooked to perfection, as was the salmon. Our cocktails were delicious, and a bottle of malbec paired well with our entrees. We will definitely dine there again!

The staff is great. Very fast, professional. The food overall was good, a bit too salty for me. I asked for a medium rare, it was a bit more cooked but was very soft I did enjoy it very much. I got the beet salad with fig sauce. Too much sauce and too sweet. Clams were amazing- also a bit too salty. It was pretty calm for a Saturday night I liked that. They could be a bit more elegant by simply changing the tableware, candles and lighting. Overall a very good experience.

Highly Recommend!!!! Marco Polo is a Carroll Gardens staple, established in the ’80s. I stopped in there last night for the first time for dinner, and I can see why it’s been a neighborhood favorite for decades. Marco, the owner, is not only an incredible chef but also one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. The staff is warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. The food was outstanding. The spicy vodka sauce was absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. I also had the rigatoni bolognese, which was incredible. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente—any Italian knows that’s the only way to eat pasta. Marco Polo is the kind of place that reminds you why classic neighborhood restaurants endure—fantastic food, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ve already told my friends about it, and we’re planning a night to go back for dinner together.

Me and my husband threw my daughter a baptism party in Marco Polo , it was the best decision we’ve ever made. Food was beyond expectation , cake incredible, and the service was grand ! Thank you Marco for making our dreams come true with this party !! We will be back soon 😍. (Also we totally forgot the rest of our cake and went back the next day to pick up some decorations and asked the staff if they had the left over cake and they didn’t but they made a mini cake for us to eat and enjoy all over again ! ) P.S Their Espresso Martinis and short rib pasta are beyond words.

We randomly came across Marco Polo in Brooklyn and decided to give it a try – and we’re so glad we did! This place is a hidden gem. The food is super fresh and delicious. We ordered the calamari, Margherita Pizza, Chicken Parm with pasta, and Spaghetti Della Spezia, and everything tasted homemade and flavorful. They also have this fun Paint & Sip workshop during happy hour where you can paint your own espresso cup while sipping on wine – definitely coming back to try that! The staff was friendly, and the whole experience was just awesome. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

We were here for an event the food was great, the services was extremely slow. I am not sure if they are understaffed or not properly organized, but it made the experience very unpleasant. Based on this experience, i would be embarrassed to have an event with such a service.

One of finest Italian restaurant I've had in a long time. Gnocchi with tomato sauce and fried calamari was perfection. Service was just as great! It doesn't get better than this! Thank you Marco Polo!

Good food. Great prices. Good service. Did take out but It was really good and fresh. Bhel puri was yummy and I’m glad they separated everything so It didn’t get soggy. Papri chat was a little bland and could use more flavor/ spices. Onion bhajia was very crispy and soft and flavorful. Ordered chicken tandoori and lamb kebabs also which were very very good. Going to order from here again for sure

Our group wanted some good Indian food near the Ferry at Port Imperial. Parking was a challenge on a Friday night. Just go around the block. We had vegetables and rice, onion bhaji, vegetable Pakora, and garlic naan bread. It was quick and delicious. The leftovers were good even 2 days later. Very gentle and kind people who ran the place.

The only good Indian restaurant I know in Weehawken, Union City, North Bergen, and surrounding area. It's ideal for both takeouts and eat-in. They have lot of options for veg and no-veg items on the menu. We went in a group with lot of kids without reservation and they happily arranged the sitting considering a small space. The staff was really cooperative. We ordered lot of food out of which I really liked some of them. Most of the dishes were mild which was perfect for kids. Loved the spicy daal, pakoras, paneer tikka, and rice. I'm picky about garlic naan, samosa and biriyani. Definitely recommended.

The pineapple fried rice was excellent! I l enjoyed the level of spice. The mixed vegetable with chicken very tasty too. Very extensive menu and reasonably priced for the quantity of food.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Hi So Thai! Even though the AC wasn’t working, the owner was incredibly thoughtful and brought a fan to make us comfortable – a true example of their excellent service. We have specific dietary restrictions (no fish oil, no meat), and the staff listened carefully and ensured everything was prepared accordingly. The food was absolutely delicious – the Thai curry was the standout, and the curried fried rice with tofu was equally amazing. Our kids especially loved the drunken noodles! On top of everything, the prices were very reasonable, and the people were kind, respectful, and welcoming. We’ll definitely visit again

Many visits here for takeout, but had our first visit for dining in. Wonderful spot for a low key, no frills date night. Food was delicious as always! We had the red curry and pad see ew. BYOB which is also nice.

We called in for late lunch. There was parking available along the road at the back of the restaurant. We ordered a number of dishes and they were wonderful. I have eaten at many Thai Restaurants and the Pineapple Fried Rice in this restaurant was the best that i have ever tasted. WOW! And.. sadly I was so hungry, I forgot to take photos.

The restaurant was really good. We got the pineapple fried rice with beef and some finger-licking chicken wings with sweet chili. Our server, Ttoob, was extremely pleasant, friendly, kind, warm-hearted, and very hospitable. The place was cozy, clean, and we were greeted right away when we walked in. I would totally recommend it.

Awesome place. Visited twice. It accepts only cash. In the last visit we ordered chili cashew nut with tofu and rice. This is my favorite. Very delicious. Ambience is good. Location is very good. The price is reasonable when compared with quantity and quality. In the last visit while ordering the chili cashew nut curry we missed to mention tofu and so we got the default chicken. We being vegetarians we explained the situation to the person in charge. Though it was close to the closing time and we were the last customer, the person in charge was kind enough to replace our food with tofu.

Staff is very nice and welcoming. Food and drinks are AMAZING! The view is beautiful. Great vibes good music. Most definitely recommend. If you haven’t gone yet. You must go.

Hidden gem in the ferry terminal with waterfront and skyline view patio outside. They have a great happy hour weekdays 4-7 and a solid bar food menu. You can also order from the partner Japanese restaurant and get sushi or bento boxes!

Hudson Blue Bar perfect to enjoy a beer🍺 or a couple of 🍻 while you wait for the ferry, and if you have more time enjoy Robongi sushi🍣 the management and staff are very welcoming and accommodating.

Came out for some lunch and had the best service in the area I have found so far ! Alyssa was so attentive and amicable. Food was great , drinks even better. Can’t wait to come back will always be asking for Alyssa as server great time !!

Nice sports bar to catch up on matches.The bar is inside the port imperial ferry terminal. There is a nice view of the NYC skyline from the bar.Lots of television inside the bar to catch up on multiple sports.The bartenders are very friendly.The kitchen closes at 9 PM though the bar is open until 11PM.

I went on 4th July, it is an amazing place with Yummylicious food good price and karaoke/live music. The owner is a wonderful person who takes care of every customer as his own family member. A place worth going. Keep up the good work 👏

I was hungry on a quiet, rainy day. We got the chicken fettuccine alfredo and an Italian sub. The Italian sub was alright, I was a little disappointed it only had one meat in it (ham), but that's alright, it still tasted decent. But the fettuccine alfredo was DELICIOUS. It was absolutely amazing, and I could not stop eating it. It's really big, so after a little while, it gets very heavy since it is very creamy, so I'd recommend sharing it with 3+ people if you can. However, the interior of the place was very dirty, and I was very hesitant in eating inside the restaurant, however, I had no other choice. The workers were chill and nice though.

Just had chicken alfredo and the chicken wasn’t grilled it was burnt, the sauce taste like milk, no salt and the garlic bread not near garlic bread at all. Tasteless. Monetti’s you fell off and your prices are not worth it.

Really good pizza. Appears to be family run. My son just moved into neighborhood. On moving day I ordered my three test pizzas ( regular, pepperoni and white slice) all you need to judge a place. Sauce was good, cheese fresh, but its the crust that really makes this pizza. The wait time is really quick and the service is nice. They also have good meal deals. Downside parking is horrible so have it delivered.

1st time ordering here. Just passing through town. I ordered 2 plain slices. Had no expectations. I was delighted and enjoyed my two slices. Also very reasonably priced. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely come back.

Been coming here for years and today they just lost my business for good. I asked twice on the phone if they make buffalo chicken pizzas with tomato sauce, they said yes. We pick up the pizza and there's not tomato sauce. So we ask what happened and the guy copped an attitude about how that would have been extra. Ended up giving us a side of tomato sauce. No buffalo sauce either btw. Their pizza has been declining for months now. This was the nail in the coffin. Oh wait there's more! We also ordered mozzarella sticks. We open up the bag and there's clearly a bite take out of one. That's freaking gross. Don't come here.

This place is a hit or miss . I stop ordering for the longest time because the quality of food just wasn’t there anymore. I gave them a second chance the other day and the pizza was amazing but today it was terrible. I ordered half BBQ chicken pizza and that half of the pie was drenched in BBQ sauce . The cook had a bad attitude and the quality of the pie definitely showed . I don’t think I’ll be ordering from there again .

I placed an order online. Needed to contact the restaurant and tried calling them ten times before I was able to get through, which is outrageous. I told them I will be picking up the food. I said do not deliver the food. Made this abundantly clear. She said fine, no problem, come and pick it up. I get there 15 minutes later, and when I am at the restaurant my wife calls me to tell me it was delivered. They tried to call the driver but did not have his cell number. Can you believe this? One idiotic thing after another. The workers are so clueless. I rush home because I want to eat hot food, and start eating the gyro and fries, while my wife starts eating her chicken kebab platter. Lo and behold, there is a small cockroach in her rice. I would never make this stuff up. Anyone who knows me knows I am extremely fair and accurate. There was a cockroach in the rice with pics attached. We threw away all the food immediately, and I called the restaurant for a full refund, and they refused a full refund, only a refund for the chicken kebab platter because that is the only food with the cockroach in it. Words can not explain how terrible this place is on so many levels. I get sick to my stomach just thinking about this place.

Unpretentious exterior can bring on the flavors. Amazing menu, and every item I ordered surpassed my expectations of delicious. Even lunch menu defies the possibility of a dull choice. Absolute BEST veggie and rice bowl ! Def. Mediterranean. Terrific gyro with fries on the side. Delivery was timely. I know because I said how long, she said under 30 min. I set timer while still on the phone. 20-17 mins knocking on my door. Impressive.

The food was pretty tasty. Unfortunately the service/experience was not. We were the only customers in the place and it took over 30 minutes to get most of our food and another 20 to get the french fries I ordered. The restraunt was hot when we got there but later the ac seem to kick in along with a strong burnt smell from the kitchen. There seemed to be no concern for us and instead all priority put on delivery and takeout orders. I watched a delivery guy come back 5 minutes after we arrived and leave with his order before we got ours. There was a pickup order while we were there as well. These orders were put together during the half hour we waited for our food. We had to ask about our order before we got it and multiple times about the fries that I was ready to give up on. I had chicken shwarma in a pita. The pita was entirely too thin so dont expect it to hold together. I doubt I will return here even though the food was decent since they seem incapable of processing multiple orders at the same time.

Only been here once but the experience was memorable. Very relaxing atmosphere, the chicken was extremely tender and juicy, the presentation was fantastic as you can see.

We were kind of iffy about ordering from this place since it only had 3.5 stars. But options were limited and we have actually found in the past that when we ordered from these 3-3.5 star places, we were pleasantly surprised. Thankfully, this was another one of those times. We ordered a beef gyro and a lamb gyro, and both were stuffed with veggies and meat (whereas a lot places stuff it with more veggies). It was the perfect ratio. I liked the beef one better. We also ordered a Shepherd's salad since we figured we needed some more veggies and it was pretty standard. A nice addition to the meal and also a good size. Will have to try their platters next time!

I ordered a grilled chicken bowl, some falafel and grape leaves. First off, I want to say the grape leaves were moist and delicious! The falafel are pretty pricey, coming in at 75 cents per piece. But they were extremely fresh and pretty good. The disappointing part of the meal was the grilled chicken bowl. The chicken is chopped up into tiny pieces, is dry and flavorless. The price of the bowl was about ten dollars, and was at least 75% rice. Doubt I'll be ordering again. 😔

An excellent spot in the Weehawken/Union City area. Ordered the lamb burger with tzatziki and feta and was not disappointed. You get a hefty burger for the price, and the fries were perfectly crisp. Service was good, the staff was friendly and attentive. Price was more than reasonable. Looking forward going back and trying their other dishes.

I’m new to neighborhood and went there in person ordered and was very satisfied every time. BUT THE FIRST TIME I ordered for delivery the guy got my order wrong. He didn’t even charge me. I had to call back and tell him he didn’t take my payment. Then after I got my food. I called because the total charge was higher than what was told me. I needed to know if it included the tip so I could add it. The lady said I ordered something I didn’t. They proceed to tell me I didn’t ask for what I know I did. Then fixed my order by sending me burned chicken. They had someone who was gonna pay a lot of their bills. But he basically called me a liar. Then sent me crap that I can’t even eat out of spite. That’s horrible service. I could never eat there now. fear they will taint my food with their spiteful hearts.

Food is very very mediocre and slightly overpriced given the quality of the food. Some of the staff are very rude and entitled to a tip whenever they deliver (not all of them). The good reviews you see here are from the previous owners (dragon wall). Very unfortunate that they got replaced with Dragon City. Overall I’d give this place a 4.5 out of 10, would NOT recommend. :(

I wish I could give zero reviews. They rude and stupid as hell. They rip people off and lie. I ordered food and I ordered a large chicken noodle soup but they sent me a small. I called and asked for it to be switched it was that or get 1.50 off my next order that's nothing. Anyway I called and the girl who answered said that they didn't have an order with my number and that was a lie because it's on my recents and on the receipt they keep. We’ve been ordering extra cheese pizza and boneless wings for the past 9 months and LOVE it! Not everyone knows how to make a yummy cheese pie that don’t a big mess their extra cheese pie is delicious! We really enjoy the teriyaki wings too, honey garlic and Thai chili are the next two flavors we love too. Mozz sticks are great as well! Fast delivery too; within 40 min MAX for us at least!

Have ordered from here a few times. The pizza is really good; flavorful. It’s got that jersey pizza feel and taste. Had the wings for the first time. Interesting they were originally breaded but it worked. Super fast delivery. Top notch spot.

I truly believe the 5 star reviews for this place are fake. The pizza was cold when I picked it up and ever appetizer was poor quality and disgusting. The only good thing was the cheesecake which was clearly store bought. I'd recommend a frozen pizza from the store over this place.

A small little pizza joint in Weehawken, NJ, has some amazing tasting specialty slices. Tried 3 , all were delicious. Buffalo chicken, Alfredo chicken, and my favorite of the 3 chicken bacon ranch . I highly recommend trying them out if you are ever in the area .

Ordered takeout on a Sunday afternoon, comprising an italian cold hero and an Eggplant Parmigiano hot hero sandwich with Onion Rings. Food arrived barely warm and soggy and the cold hero was liquid and watery. The experience was wholly revolting and the entire ordered food had to be tossed into the garbage after one bite. I can’t get the rancid taste out of my mouth two hours after receiving the food. Worst ever !! Will never order from this establishment again

I am absolutely appalled at the behavior of some of those who work at this location. My mother went in to purchase a coffee, when she handed she cashier a $20, he only returned $3. When my mother questioned this, he claimed that she had been there previously and did not pay her bill. He then stated that if she did not pay for it, it would come out of his pocket. This was a completely absurd accusation considering my mother had not been there recently- not to mention that she was a frequent customer as she works for a school nearby. I am compelled to believe the actions and behavior of this worker were motivated by racism. It is disgusting and no way to treat someone. Before accusing someone of something, there needs to be evidence and there was none.

This location is okay for a quick grab and go... There is not much room to sit and enjoy your morning coffee .. The staff is nice. But they just don't make good coffee it's always watered down... not sure what the deal with that.

some employees do not know how to understand the instructions. if I ask for a chai latte, they serve me the latte with coffee. always check your orders.11/11/23once again... they don't pay attention to the orders, they get it wrong (hot chai latte they put coffee when it's just chai tea and milk) and the breads come out not finished baking.

Good spot friendly and free wifi! I like to order espresso yes they have it and is probably the best healthiest choice and priced right! Less than 2$they do have to relax and not limit wifi time because Starbucks is nearby and I've never been approached about my time spent using wifi. If you desire return business and loyalty than don't harass your customers. Respectfully

Bad customer service, lately they have been getting my order wrong. Several times I've ordered ice coffee and they've given me hot coffee. Don't get me wrong the coffee is always fresh and so are the doughnuts 😋 but they need to pay more attention to what the customer is ordering.

Super cute, hidden gem! Nice spacious layout with bar seating and tables for a more private dining experience. Wood fired pizza oven, home made ice cream, and a nice variety of seafood, steak, and pasta. Pasta portions come in small and large sizes. You can buy pints of home made ice cream to go for only $10! Large drink menu (full bar) and decent prices over all! Will definitely go again.

Great vibe and good food. For 2ppl, we ordered two small plates, one pizza, one main dish and dessert. Pizza is baked and served freshly out of the oven - can’t go wrong. Pizza dough was very soft and delicious. Duck breast was a bit chewy, yet tender. For dessert, we had Tiramisu affogato, which was basically ice cream covered with chocolate power, and they drizzled espresso over it. It was very sweet, and well balanced with bitterness of the espresso; it was the highlight of the night.

A much needed upscale restaurant to the area! Interior is warm and welcoming with a rustic elegance, food is excellent. Each dish feels complex and balanced, can notice the details that enhance and bring the flavor together. Looking forward to returning

One of my girlfriends and I got together for brunch at this spot. I made reservations for 1pm. When I arrived I found parking right in front of the restaurant. I walked in and the restaurant was super cute. There was the restaurant area and they had their own cafe as well. The hostess greeted and sat us. Our server was Jazzy and she was nice. We started with drinks and we both got the mimosa and that was tasty. For our entrées I wanted the chicken sandwich with a side of fries and my friend wanted the steak and eggs with a side of home fries. About a minute or two later Jazzy told us there were no more potatoes in the restaurant so we couldn't get fries or home fries 🤦🏽‍♀️. My friend changed her meal to the chicken sandwich and I kept mine as is. Another minute or two Jazzy came back and said fries are now in the building lol smh, so we added fries. When our food came out it looked good and the fries were fresh. When I tasted the sandwich was pretty good and the fries were tasty. The meal was filling and I am glad they came through because I was about to be very disappointed if we couldn't get our side of fries. Even though my friend couldn't get her original order. The bill came to about $51 each. All in all we had a good experience.

Porter is a truly gorgeous place. The service was great and the food was delicious. Overall everything was above the average. We ordered West side pizza which was white pizza and it was the best. Also desserts are really good. I highly recommend this place if you looking for dine in Weehawken.

Cute and cozy restaurant. We sat at the bar for drinks and appetizers. The Spanish octopus and Roman potatoes are exquisite. The octopus was tender and flavorful. The potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft in the inside with the cheese on top which adds a touch of salt. We ended with a tiramisu filled with ice cream (rather than a mascarpone cheese filling) and on which a fresh cup of coffee was poured. It was delicious. The drinks were excellent as well.

Such a wonderful place in Jersey City Heights. I always recommend to anyone visiting. The ice cream is homemade and delicious so creamy and light bursting with natural flavor. The owners are so friendly and welcoming and always accommodating!! Very clean crepes always fresh and it’s such a joy to watch it being made. Highly recommend!

I don't know who Angel is, considering the staff were all Indian when we were here--but I'm glad she likes Lotus Biscoff as much as I do. The double scoop I got of this flavor was every bit as creamy and baby cookie-y as I wanted. I'd skip the bubble tea, though--unless you like the artificial, food-colored, syrupy type. The Honeydew bubble tea was a nuclear shade of green that would probably give you a third arm (or telekinesis), and tasted like an AI-designed imagining of what honeydew might taste like.

Best staff and best ice cream and crepes on the heights. The staff was friendly and kind to the max. They were helpful, thoughtful, and welcoming. The crepes were sooo tasty and they had some of the most fun flavors I've seen in quite some time. We will definitely be back We're still eating, at first we said we would only eat half because the serving was big. I've been writing this review and had two bites, I looked over to find 80% of the crepe and ice cream gone and a look of guilt across my boyfriends face. He meekly said " it's too good, I can't stop".

I go to Angel's Recipe Ice Cream every time I visit my friend in Jersey City. The crepes are made fresh, and their ice cream flavors are unique and taste delicious! I highly recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch, or if you want a sweet treat.

The rolled ice cream was so good! I got the French toast with banana and strawberry. The owner was very friendly and the workers was so sweet and helpful when I wanted to try the different flavors. Would come again!!

We ordered rolled ice cream and crepes. Ice cream tasted ok but I think it is overpriced for the quality. But the main issue with my experience here was the service was really poor. I waited 20 minutes for a crepe and I was in a rush and since my order was not ready after 20 minutes I kindly asked them to cancel my order. They refused to do it and did not even apologize. I really do not recommend it here. You can find way better quality ice cream and crepes for the same price around here.

I love this place. The customer service is top notch. My fiance and I come here for the bubble tea. They usually let us try free samples of their homemade ice cream. It's delicious.

Customer service was good and speedy however the food quality isn’t great. The croissant and donut 🍩 were almost stale and dry. The coffee wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. The store and tables were not clean, I wish they would pay more attention to this as it is a prime location.

People who work here are nice. Only issue is I chipped my tooth on a cold hard stale bagel today 😭 literally broke a tooth. I just wanted a warm soft bagel. 🙃😭 I can’t afford a dentist. I just cannot come back here anymore: please serve non stale bagels. My tooth is in bad pain.

I order ahead & still had to wait 10minutes for my order . I understand mornings can be busy but if I order ahead and still have to wait for my order to get this bagel with cream cheese then it’s definitely not worth my money or time. I also asked for coconut milk and they put almond milk without asking me if it was okay or provide other options.

Not clean, RUDE staff, I was there today and I had to ask the person preparing my drink not to put his fingers inside the cup to grab it, he was clueless about hygiene. Their prices are higher than other Dunkin Donuts locations, and do not ask for a milk shake.... they pour a lot of ice, resulting in very watered down drink. Their standards are indicative their mentality is in a different country than USA. IRRITATING !

Nice group that works here. Service is pretty fast when Ive gone. Food is good. My family likes basic doughnuts so we never have a problem finding what we want. The ice cream can sometimes look like it’s been there for a while. Maybe just not a popular ice cream spot? One complaint - the sweet cold foam never looks like the picture or other DDs I go to…tried introducing ny husband and he was so unimpressed.

I order there EVERYDAY. I swear I’m not joking. I ask for the same thing- sausage, cheese on a croissant 🥐 extra cheese. NO EGG. 2 times in a row they added the egg and they forgot the cheese. It’s an annoying because I throw it out - I can’t have eggs.

Food was really bad to be honest, i love asian food but this place gave me a really bad experience. The service was poor and rude. The rice with chicken that i ordered was like eating from a microwave and the spicy soup that i order tasted way diferent that the other ones i habe tried (it didn’t have taste at all). Great chinese food. I’ve stayed in Union City for 9 days and I came here almost every single day because me and my boyfriend really liked their food and they have a big menu so we tried something new everyday. The prices are also really good and the people are welcoming.

This place has lost its touch, last night was my final straw. Ordered a boneless spare rib tip combo, and half the order of rib tips was fat and blubber. Extremely unacceptable to serve to a customer, especially during dinner time. INCONSIDERATE AND DISGUSTING.

It's been 5 yrs i have been ordering when i don't feel like cooking, The chubby guy is extremely rude. I ordered Jalapeno chicken last week and the chicken was not properly cooked and i had to throw the food even though i paid $15 for it. This week i was craving for it and when i called to order and mentioned what happened last time and requested him to make sure the chicken is cooked properly, he says" you always have to complain and if you don't like than don't eat our food"!!! what kind of service is that???? he should have simply said, sorry and will inform the kitchen. He did not feel bad that i had to throw my food!

WOW this place is a hidden gem. How can you not know about it. Fantastic Pizza homie dough and great sauce. looking forward to trying everything going to menu especially the Stromboli the garlic knots. High quality ingredients. Shout out to Bob. Ordered a pizza at 11:38pm on a Tuesday.. wasn’t expecting it to be great but to my surprise a little over hour later the pizza came and it was perfect, will be recommending to friends.

Had a chill ambiance to it very nice felt traditional. Pizza came out very quick and fast but was fresh and warm very good price at around 5 dollars for a large slice.

I ordered a cheese pie (on a whole wheat crust), a Greek roll, and a Romano’s salad. The roll and salad were great. The pizza was burnt, we tried it but we didn’t finish it. Definitely getting regular a regular crust moving fwd

I have no idea who is rating this place, but you all have never had good Italian food. This is truly horrible food. Not only do they take forever, the stuff that they give you is absolutely abysmal. No plates, no plastic forks or knives. Do yourself a favor, eat the garbage in your room, it will be better and you will save a lot of money.

This is the forth pizza place I have visited in the neighborhood and for me the least liked. I had a slice of Hawaiian that was thin, hot and crispy. It lacked sauce(one of my favorite parts) and lacked flavor in the ham/pineapple. I also got a meatball sub which was again hot and crispy. The sub although had a bit more sauce was lacking that tomato flavor. The meatballs themselves were ok with a little bit of flavor to them. I was informed by another customer that they make a good chicken roll. Maybe if I can get by the lack of flavor this time I will give it another shot.

Made reservations for a sunny Sunday brunch. Son had the fish and chips, boyfriend had the chicken sandwich, I ordered tots and shrimp and oysters to share. Everything was delicious. I would come back and destroy some more west coast oysters. The caviar tots are my favorite thing to order. They used to have caviar hash, but it’s really the same. Anyway, they seem shortstaffed, but we didn’t have anywhere to be so it was fine. It does get chilly in the shade and the chairs are slated so if you are a woman wearing short shorts or a short dress/skirt, the back of your thighs will have slated imprints. I brought an oversized towel to sit on/cover my legs so I was good.

First time at Drift In and won't be my last. The service was great, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The cocktail was delicious and wound up having two. The shrimp was good, and I love both sauces that came with the shrimp. The fried chicken sandwich and fries were cooked and tasted perfect . I wanted to try some other menu items. However, I was full between both drinks and food. Much love to the staff and the manager Jason for making my experience at Drift In memorable.

Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it’s a great place for an after-work drink or to catch the sunset by the water.

The atmosphere was cute, and the location by the water was definitely nice. The service was great at the beginning, but as a solo diner—who usually prefers to spend less time than a group—it became difficult for me to close out my tab. I wasn’t sure if my server had left, so I eventually had to ask a host to help me finalize my bill. The food was good overall, but I found it a bit strange that they charge for tap water. I understand it’s for a charity, but as someone who ordered a drink and barely touched the water, I questioned why I should have to pay for it.

It’s always a wonderful experience dining here. The food is beyond incredible, the drinks are outstanding (and with a great pour, for the price too). My waiter or waitress is always fantastic and so accommodating, especially with dogs in tow with our party. I wish I remembered tonight’s waitress— she was FANTASTIC. Please reward her somehow. She was a dog lover of ”Hershey”— even ran after us to pet the puppy goodbye. Absolute gem.

Waterfront restaurant from the Grand Banks team but closer to Christopher and the west side highway. All the food was quite solid that we had from both the brunch and regular menu. Great for people watching. Caviar trout roe and hash browns were my fav.

Authentic Taiwanese boba milk tea and shaved ice. Run by a Taiwanese family; there’s a bit of a language barrier for people who don’t speak Mandarin. Boba is great quality, shaved ice is super fluffy. Orders come with a disc that beeps when your order is ready (super authentic Taiwanese food court experience haha). Been here twice, had good experiences with the Milk Tea Shaved Ice and Strawberry & Mango Shaved Ice.

Sparkling fruit boba, milk teas, fruit teas, everything I have tried so far is fantastic! They have a wide variety of flavors and types of drinks that gives you plenty of options to choose from. I want to try the food here soon as I have seen positive reviews of the waffles and other snacks. So glad to have this spot in the neighborhood

The amount of choices for food and drinks is vast! The food taste amazing, and the shaved ice is so good!! This is a must try place if you're every around the neighborhood. Wonderful and friendly staff and the inside of the store is super cute and cozy

Server in front has bad attitude and treats customers like imbeciles. I simply asked if the pitaya bowl and the açaí bowl were similar meaning the frozen ice cream type part of it because you cannot see it from the photos and she points to the photos and says “they’re not the same. The fruits are different. I said “I understand but I mean is it still going to come as ice cream” she says “look at the photos” (which do not show anything helpful) while also giving you disgusting looks. Never coming here again. Maybe the bowl is good maybe it isn’t , haven’t tried it yet but when I do I won’t be giving the satisfaction of an answer either. They also don’t use gloves which is kinda nasty and cross contamination. They use the language barrier to make YOU feel out of place.

This is a cute little cafe with cheap breakfast and delicious bubble tea. This cafe reminds me very much of cafes all across Asia. I ordered waffles with turkey bacon and eggs and although simple, it was pretty delicious. Additionally, I drank passion fruit bubble tea with lychee bubbles and I was very pleased with the taste. I will definitely return.

Been coming here for years 🤍 fave drink is Taro Slush w/ Lychee Jelly. I’ve had this order at multiple places but Sunshine makes it the best.

My son is autistic and he analyzes every single slice of ANY place that i buy him pizza from. Whether its dominos , pizza hut, masters, whatever and he only eats this pizza! He loves it and will only eat pizza from here! The best pizza in town! And the owner & workers forget about it un amor!

This is your typical small business charming little pizzeria that needs a few upgrades, but without removing the charm, the owners have been here for years and they try their best to make their customers happy, love that the pizza is sweet and savory, not too greasy, with a good selection of beverages as well, the restaurant itself does need a little help with making changes and keep everything up to date, I think that Italian music is needed, and more tables, chairs that way it could be more inviting, overall, it's a nice little place, but it just need a little boost..

Every time I call and order the owner is always kind and professional . Timely and always willing to give you the best daily deals . I ordered Venezia salad 2 slices of pizza ( we get pizza all the time from there ) , chicken fingers and fries also ordered the Al Pacino Sub everything was really good .

Jimmy is an excellent old connoisseur purveyor of pizza and wings. I loved the old school ambiance, ovens and menu. 10 /10 would recommend!

What an amazing surprise. The pizza was hot and absolutely delicious. We got a large plain pie. It was cooked perfectly and needed absolutely nothing else. Wish every neighborhood had a pizza joint like this. I will definitely travel to get quality pizza like this again! Run, don’t walk to Villa Pizza! It really is a gem!!!

Wow! The delivery was so fast! The food was some of the best Chinese I've had including great vegetable fried rice finally. They don't skimp on the vegetables and it actually has taste and color. My food looked so good that my friend call them right after to get their own stuff and he loved as well. They didn't have an issue with keeping out the oyster sauce and any animal based broth due to me being allergic and vegan. Deff will be ordering again. Best Chinese in the area. 5/5

I have been ordering from here for many, many years. It’s the best Chinese food I’ve tried in the area... I’ve tried maybe 6 others. And they are FAST! One time they got an item wrong and I called to let them know for next time. My doorbell rang ten minutes later with the correct item... after I’d said it was fine, just give it to me next time. Sha Cha chicken or beef... one of my favorite items. Szechuan dumplings in hot oil another.

New to midtown North Bergen. Tried a few places. First time ordering here. On time delivery and still hot. I ordered fried rice, house special lo mein (no pork), chicken and vegetables and sliced beef and string beans. Delicious!!! Definitely so far my go to Chinese takeout.

Service is awful. The woman on the phone was rude and I had called as soon as I got my order because something that was wrong with it she said we’d be there in a few minutes. An hour and 20 minutes later they still haven’t showed up. I call again and the lady insists that I never called. She spend 5 minutes screaming about how i never called. I was so annoyed I said whatever. won’t order again. They also refused to refund me for the incorrect order. 0/10 (I am also never the type of person to leave reviews on places so that says something)

It’s a shame that I have to give this place a one star because the sushi was delicious. However I got food poisoning twice, once last year and once this year with multi-day high fevers. They need to reinspect their ingredients and food processing. I used to order on a regular basis, gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, but not again.

I ordered two different kinds of spicy rolls, tuna, and salmon. Both rolls were filled with “crunchy rice crispies” changing the flavor and reducing the fish in each slice. No good. Very disappointing.

Food was good but does not fit the price at all. Severely overpriced. Went to go eat with 2 other people and we all got one drink + one meal. Total came out to $82. Very crazy they charge a $15 automatic service fee even though my friend asked for the check and boxes to go and we waited around 25 minutes, still no check or boxes. My friend had to go up and get the boxes herself. Then we waited 10 additional minutes still no check. So, We had to go up to the cashier and she didn’t even have the check printed out until she saw us 😐. Geniuely horrible experience, i’m not one to leave bad reviews and this is the first review i’ve ever left. Do not recommend if your looking for a nice affordable meal/lunch with friends. Look at this picture and tell me if you’d pay $82 for that.

I'd had good experiences at TBT, but today I ordered a Wonder Burger and a "Callejero" Hot Dog for pickup... The burger was good, but the hot dog had too many potato chips, no bacon, and it didn't match what was ordered. We called the restaurant to let them know we were unhappy with the order, and the girl who took the call simply replied, "Look closely, there's bacon." Actually, I had an order a while back that I was disappointed with, but on that occasion I was nice and didn't complain because I thought we all make mistakes, but now it's been a real pain twice. I will not return to this restaurant and I will not recommend it to anyone.

Honestly. Food it’s good. Service is just mid. And delivery/pick up orders tend to be a hit or miss. 1- When you dine in they dont tell you they add tip automatically. So when you pay with card and ask if you want to tip. It’s asking you to TIP AGAIN. And MOST costumers are unaware that they add tip automatically. 2- Paying almost $16 for a plate and this is what I receive? It is totally unacceptable. I asked for not Criolla potato but to substitute for fries. I order here frequently. But this time I am beyond disappointed. This is a good business but your costumers deserve way better than this.

Colombian/American The food is good The service is great The ambiance is pretty much like most Colombian restaurants. You can not go wrong. Definitely a place to go back. Try it out, it's got pancakes on the menu. Just wish their outside signage would have been more appealing. It took us a while to decide to try it out. It's well worth it. Close to Hoboken. Parking is available. The location is an old bank and they kept the vault :) which I think was a good call. The restrooms are clean which is another positive sign that they are well aware of what they are doing! Enjoy it !!

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. From the moment I called to place my order, the person who answered made it clear that politeness and customer service are not a priority here. They spoke to me as if I were asking for a favor rather than being a paying customer. But the worst part came when I went to pick up my order. A group of employees with annoyed expressions, completely mute, with an attitude of “What do you want? Now leave.” No greeting, no “thank you,” nothing. It looked like being there physically hurt them. I don’t know if they’re trained to ignore customers or if they just hate working, but they nailed it—they made sure I never want to come back. If you’re looking for a place where customers are treated like a nuisance, this is the one. As for me, I’d rather spend my money somewhere they at least know how to say “Good afternoon.” I will never return and would never recommend a place like this.

Found this place just driving through Paterson. The place is newly built and clean. As you walk in (careful with the steps) a sign on right wall says "Colombian Fast Food". There's DC and Marvel comic superheroes on the walls. We decided to "eat-in" which is nice during Covid-19. There's an eating area in the back that's a wooden structure with rafters and a ceiling that let's sun in. Like a framed house without its walls. Tall gas heaters, simple decorations and TV screen plays salsa music. According to my girlfriend it's structured like in Colombia. The waitress (just arrived from Medellin) was very nice, polite and spoke English. The burgers were fantastic with the style and taste like it's done in Colombia, all the way down to the sauce. I had the TBT burger. The sauce had some sweetness with caramelized onions, lettuce, slaw, mozzarella cheese, etc. My girlfriend enjoyed her burger, too. They also serve hotdogs their way, and other Colombian dishes. I recommend this place to anyone who would like to try a new twist eating a burger (or hotdog). It's a good experience.

Ordered on Uber, a couple of times now. It was the 1st place that got pretty close to making a proper philly cheese steak. I adjust to make it perfect to have more meat and remove the ketchup/mayo, cos that's just gross and every time they tack on an additional $2.50 to the $14.99 high price point. FYI: Without the additional meat it's more like a sandwich with steak dressing... there is barely any meat to chew. Thought removing the ketchup/mayo ONLY would mean no additional cost, but they still tack on $1.50 which is just not great business practice, and feels scammy. Like bro, I'm already saving you money by not using more of your condiments. What's the big idea?!!! I'll keep shopping around for somewhere else where I don't feel like someone is trying to one up me when is just bodega food. Never even paid that much in the city especially for something subpar. Smh

She literally looked me up and down & said no & walked away. So rude I would understand no restroom for customers but the way she just stared at me for more than a second and said no . I forgot to take a picture of my chicken over rice but OMG this was soooo delicious! I asked for extra white sauce and they gave me FOUR 🥹❤️(granted I had two orders but still, that’s a lot! Thank you!!🥰) Flavor profile amazing, the hot sauce was perfectly hot, didn’t burn off my taste buds, white sauce perfect. Chicken perfectly cooked, so was the rice. This use to be my go-to spot for breakfast and lunch on weekly basis. However, the service and quality at this Deli has gone downhill. I usually always order food for pickup. On my last order, the guy who was working behind the counter was rude and wanted to overcharge for the sandwich. This on top of recent price hikes on all their food. When I got home and opened the sandwich, I find out that they got my order wrong. This seems to be happening every now and then. Perhaps they need to train their staff better. I am going to be taking my business elsewhere.

We had dinner at their restaurant on Wednesday night, and as a restaurant with a high price, we were not treated as we should be! We ordered a scallop, and there was a bone in it, which almost broke my teeth! We asked the manager, and he explained to us that it was shells, not bones! His attitude was not very friendly. He explained that it was natural for scallops to have shells, but whether it was bones or shells, as a high-cost restaurant, shouldn’t the food be cleaned before serving to the guests? And at the end, when we paid, we were automatically charged a tip, which I can understand, but no matter before or after the payment, we were not told!

2nd time here… We love everything the first time we came, so we decided to bring our friends in, turns out to be a huge disappointment. Food tastes … just bland, nothing close to the first time we were here. The fries look floppy, looks like leftover from noon. I had high hopes for the beef duo, but it just tasted significantly worse than the first time, seems like they forgot about the sauce, it lacks flavor. Idk, attaching two pictures of the same dish from the two times we were here. Well, later when we looked inside the kitchen, we found out that the chef we saw here the first time, wasn’t here — I guess that explains everything, when we asked one of the waiter how many chefs they have, he simply answered he didn’t know.. ok.. I seem to understand now why some chefs on the shows are particularly picky about things — because you can obviously tell the difference lol. My highest respect goes to the chef here. And my sincere advice is to better train your team, so that you can deliver food consistently up to your standard, even if you are absent. It’s a Friday night, everyone is going to expect a higher standard. If you value dining atmosphere and din’t care about the food, then this place is a good choice, it’s at a nice, chilled location near river. Sadly for us, we let our friends down miserably for bring them here this time.. Not to mention, the table behind us seemed to have 80% of the plates unfinished 👀, pretty sad customers I would say. If you want to succeed in this business you’ll have to do better and make some changes, good luck.

A disappointing experience. We went on a Wednesday evening and sat outside. The service felt stiff and rushed. We started with the avocado and beet salad, which looked nice but lacked freshness and flavor: something that unfortunately became a theme for the evening. For the main course, we ordered the beef bourguignon and the fish with ratatouille. The beef tasted slightly stale, and both dishes lacked flavor. While the presentation of the food was appealing, the taste fell far short of expectations. What made the experience even worse was the constant swarm of fruit flies and mosquitoes over our food. Between regretting our meal choices and repeatedly shooing away bugs, we just wanted to leave. When we mentioned this to our server, the response was a shrug and “it’s because of the plants.” While I understand that outdoor dining has its challenges, a restaurant at this level should make some effort, such as table fans or outdoor bug deterrents to ensure a comfortable dining experience. For a place that charges fine dining prices, the food, service, and overall experience fell well below standard. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant.

We count ourselves lucky to have dined at Faubourg's Montclair a number of times. The Weehawken edition brings all we enjoy about this concept: attentive and welcoming staff, beautiful surroundings, deliciously prepared food, a great wine and cocktails list, and an experience that feels curated, a casually elegant vibe. During warm weather Faubourg offers an outdoor seating area too. Our reservation on Resy was honored promptly and we were greeted by name (love that!). Plan to arrive early parking is in short supply on streets and the garage is a few blocks stroll.

Beyond expectations! Better than a lot of the French restaurants in NYC! Food was delicious. My partner and I were here for brunch but we’ll definitely come back for a dinner next time!

I would’ve given this place 5 stars, but I’m saving that last one like a golden ticket for my next visit. Faubourg is hands down one of the best French restaurants in NJ (which, let’s be honest, isn’t exactly crawling with them). I’m a sucker for a French breakfast, but the menu could use a little more ooh-la-la in that department. The French toast though? Magnifique. So good it almost made me forget they didn’t have hot chocolate—almost. Instead, I had to settle for orange juice, which is basically breakfast water in disguise. The vibe inside is sleek and modern, very “I live across the river from Manhattan but still have taste.” Service was… fine. The waiters kept it safe, which I guess is better than keeping it sorry. All in all: great spot. Just give me hot chocolate next time and I’ll give you the 5th star.

Very disappointed, I ordered 4 veggie patty sandwiches with Italian herbs and cheese & they used multigrain bread instead of Italian bread. So, I tried to call them 2-3 times but no one picked up it.

Nothing against this branch, but subway stopped selling veggie patties for sandwiches, so now I hate subway.

Excellent Taco Spot in Weehawken! Just had an amazing experience at this taco place and had to share. The food here is absolutely fantastic - fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meat, and authentic flavors that really hit the spot. Every bite was delicious and you can tell they take pride in their cooking. The service was equally impressive. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. They were attentive without being overbearing and clearly care about providing a great dining experience. The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean and has a great atmosphere. If you're in Weehawken and craving tacos, this is definitely the place to go. I'll absolutely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality Mexican food with excellent service. Where do I begin… I ordered tacos to go for lunch -al pastor, chicken and brisket. While I waiting I got a tripa taco So crunchy almost like a pork belly texture very good. You can order 1 taco which is cool so you can try different ones. I also ordered chip and salsa (salsa is chunky full of all the goodness) Chips and guacamole (delish with great flavor not bland) The tacos al pastor meat was so well seasoned, the tortilla is soft and holds the meat, cilantro and onion w a slice of pineapple! The chicken and brisket ate a must as well nest is super soft. If you are in the area check them out. They have horchata and Jamaica drinks. The vibe is casual and super clean.

I live around the corner and wanted nothing more than to fall in love with this new cafe: it’s a boutique chain, well-reputed with early reviews, and opens earlier than the local competition. What’s not to love? I brought my out-of-state parents for breakfast this morning to sample the offerings. We ordered drinks, a slice of coffee cake, and the Mediterranean chicken sandwich (all-day breakfast and lunch menu). The drip coffee, oak milk latte, and oat milk chai latte was all over the map. Drip coffee was as expected, oat milk latte was good but a forced swap because the chain refuses to carry soy milk, and the chai latte was disappointingly cold. The coffee cake featured chunks of fruit and was generously portioned, delicious, and moist. The Mediterranean chicken sandwich was stale and boring, with the protein edges looking and tasting like crusty jerky and the flavor nothing to write home about. Pretty bummed. Willing to try this spot again, but the mediocre experience hovering at $50 along with the low converted garage ceilings and less-than-warm interior design will likely mean a last resort for an early morning. Oak Street Deli remains that joint all primary coffee and lunch needs.

Stayed at an Airbnb down the street and came here multiple times for breakfast. Coffee is solid, food is even better. The omelette sandwich and the Mediterranean breakfast are amazing. We were able to get a table no problem, and the prices are beyond fair.

You can't go wrong with the BLAT here! It's absolutely loaded with perfectly cooked bacon. The Fattoush tasted fine but wasn't very filling; it would have been great if there was some sort of grain like quinoa/couscous, or at least more pita. There was also a great variety of pastries available. There were plenty of open tables inside on a Saturday morning. Service is friendly, but there was a bit of a wait for the food. Unfortunately, they are not dog friendly, so for dog owners who like to pick up breakfast/coffee on their morning walks, this is not the spot. (The Oak still is, though!)

Wonderful little place! Perfect placement my day lol. I got the biscuit sandwich with eggs and it was delicious, there were at least two or three eggs on it. The biscuit was flaky and perfectly baked. Service was lovely and I was addressed by name.

The margherita pizza was good! The Chicken Alfredo was not; the sauce didn’t taste like Alfredo and the chicken had a weird taste.

Paisano's was excellent! The staff were super attentive and friendly. We ordered a couple of things, including the margherita pizza. They got it out to us in a timely manner and it was sooooo delicious! I'd definitely eat here again.

I hate to leave bad reviews but this was truly some of the worst pizza I’ve had in recent memory. Cheese undercooked and fell right off. Sauce tasted like something you’d get in a school lunch. WoW! Absolutely the best pizza I’ve eaten in a very long time. Slices are huge for a large. One large was enough to fill us up. Cheese was the perfect amount for a pizza, you know you get some places that’ll put not enough or just to much but not this place so it’s awesome. Ordered the penne vodka pasta, it was the best. We had a veggie pizza (onion, red pepper, green pepper, slices of tomatoes), Hawaiian pizza, and pepperoni pizza. Mozzarella sticks, just awesome like perfectly fried. A must order place and free delivery.

Haven't received my order yet (delivery is taking more than an hour). I guess I'll update this review if it ever arrives? Update: took 70 mins to arrive. Pizza was warm (not hot), fries soggy. Pizza is good though. Updating review to 2 stars - as bad service can really ruin your evening.

Got really great pizza while visiting from out of state. We also got the garlic knots which were the best we’ve ever had and huge! Side of meatballs was also fantastic - definitely add these to any order! Couldn’t believe how great the prices were, and the delivery man was so kind and helpful. Thanks!

First time ordering from here. The food was fresh, tasty and packed separately. i.e. pasta was packed separate from the eggplant. I ordered a tossed salad and it looked and tasted fresh. The lettuce, tomatoes, and everything in the salad looked fresh and whoever made it took pride in making sure it was made beautifully and fresh! It’s nice to see a proprietor take pride in their products. I have received many burnt pizzas in the past from other places and never ordered from them again! I’m glad I found Charlie’s. You sold me and I have a new go to pizza place! Highly recommend!

My family and I are staying at an Airbnb very near by and are not up for going back to the city for dinner tonight. Checked out what was around us and decided on Charlie's after seeing the multiple awesome reviews. They did NOT disappoint. Both the pepperoni and white pizza were spot on -authentic NYC pizza with a crispy, thin, delicious crust, the chicken wings were perfect with just a little bit of crunch, and the mozzarella sticks were yummy, too. I don't often post reviews but this was warranted. Three thumbs up from my husband, super picky 8 year-old, and me.

Everything is delicious! This place has been here for a while it was formerly known as Garbanzo Grill. Luckily for us the only thing that changed was the owner and not the cook. It's been the same cook for 10 years who decided to invest I'm himself and his talent who became the new owner and manager. The place is simple and comfortable but we are here for the food guys and that is 20 out of 10. My favorite is the chicken Shwarma burger with sweet potatoe fries. This place is a gem and I am happy to be a repeat customer! I'll be back on Friday!

I just had their turkey club with Chipotle. The role was only $6. They made it and under 2 minutes and it was fresh and fantastic. Get a sandwich at Linda's place !! Also I left my bag in their outdoor seating and they're kind enough to return it to me. :-D

It depends how lucky you get with how fresh a particular batch of food was made. If it's fairly fresh out the oven, then it'll be some of the best food around. But if it's older, then the experience will be different, so probably good idea to ask first which is most fresh. The coffee is really good, and the staff is very friendly.
