Food was appetizing here 😋 we ordered the chicken in garlic sauce and the chicken Milanese. The garlic chicken was savory and super flavorful with the garlic not being overpowering to the taste buds. The chicken Milanese had a lot topped on which didn’t really make the plate better or worse. For an appetizer, I tried a croqueta which was made perfectly. 👌🏼they give big portions of the protein and small sides of rice - 🍚 good ratio to allow more room for the delicious food. 😌 service was efficient, prompt, & friendly. Ambiance was nicely decorated for a Cuban restaurant although the establishment is a little in the small side. Street parking can be difficult depending on the time. Overall great dining experience and will come be coming back.

Came here for breakfast while staying in Hoboken. It’s a small spot but great vibes and music. We sat at the counter and were greeted quickly. We didn’t try the coffee as we had some beforehand, but ordered some entrees. I had the tortilla española, which was delicious and full of potato and chorizo. My friend had huevos rancheros which came out looking great, but unfortunately it wasn’t very warm. Still had good flavor. The pecan wood smoked bacon is must! Would come back, especially for a Cuban coffee!

Fun diner atmosphere, excellent Cuban food. For appetizers, we split the shrimp ceviche and montaditos, which is a surf and turf like combo of chorizo, spinach and shrimp on top of a crispy tostone. The montadito was unique and really hit the spot as I was starving. For mains, we had churrasco, pescado frito and ropa veija. All the dishes were delicious and filling, with plenty of fried plantains and arroz leftover. Service was amazing too, made it a special evening out for a birthday celebration.

I've been a loyal customer of La Isla Downtown for two decades, and it remains one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Hoboken. The quality and taste have been consistently amazing all these years. The food is always fantastic. They offer daily specials, and while you might see some repeat during the week, you can always count on fresh vegetables and delicious, high-quality meat. My personal, all-time favorite is the oxtail – it's simply a must-try! The shrimp is also always incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. The outdoor seating consists of about six 4-person tables set up right on the street. It's not a private patio but a more casual, open space, meaning people walking by are right there and can easily see what you're enjoying. Despite it being windy sometimes, it's a good option for outdoor dining, and the fact that it's dog-friendly is a huge plus for us! A couple of tips for new visitors: The restaurant is BYOB, so you can bring your favorite bottle of wine or beer to enjoy with your meal. Also, they don't take reservations, so I recommend timing your visit to avoid a wait, as it's a popular spot. After 20 years, La Isla continues to be a place I highly recommend for authentic, delicious food and a wonderful dining experience.

Who would have thought you could find a delicious Cuban diner in the midst of Hoboken? Not me! So this is such a pleasant surprise. The food is good, and the vibe is better! I love the traditional diner vibe indoors with so many Cuban decorations!

I came into La Isla in Hoboken to grab a simple empanada, but the experience was terrible. First off, $6 for one empanada is way overpriced, especially since I usually get it with their mojito sauce and expected better service. When I asked about the sauce, the woman behind the counter was extremely rude. She kept brushing me off while I was talking, and at one point even shushed me — completely unprofessional and out of control. Only after she realized I was upset did she suddenly try to change her attitude, but by then it was too late. I was so upset that after paying for the $6 empanada, I just walked outside and left it on the table in front of the restaurant. That’s how bad the service was — I didn’t even want to eat it. The food might be fine, but honestly it’s not worth dealing with that kind of attitude. If you want good food and respectful service, avoid this place. There are plenty of other restaurants in Hoboken that actually value their customers.

Small place but delicious food and amazing service. Get ready to wait in line since space is small (that makes it cozy) and it is in Hoboken so parking sucks! IT IS WORTHWHILE THOUGH. You will leave happy. My boyfriend had an Omelette and I had the huevos rancheros. As dessert on a Sunday morning, I had their delicious Key lime Pie..TO DIE FOR!

A decent, casual spot with friendly service and solid dishes. Nothing particularly memorable, but it was a pleasant experience overall. If you’re not a fan of raw shrimp, I’d recommend avoiding the skewers. Glad I gave it a try, but probably wouldn’t return.

We came here on Wednesday after a long day of moving. The restaurant is decorated nicely and we were seated next to windows. They had happy hour and a a special going on for the night. My girlfriend was feeling a little cold and was going for a sweater in the car when someone from the team offered to adjust the temp, that was really sweet and accommodating of him! We decided to order the guava margarita for our starting drinks after being recommended by our waiter. These babies were strong but so good! It was refreshing without being too sweet. You can drink multiple of these like juice! Now, moving to the appetizers. We tried the lamb skewers and the beef empanada. The grilled lamb skewers came with a garlic aioli and it was delicious. Nice amount of char and well seasoned. The garlic aoili elevated this. The beef empanada was pretty good. The entrees that we ordered were the beef short rib and the grilled porkchops. The beef ribs came with mashed potatoes and mushrooms while with the porkchops, my girlfriend ordered with the mushrooms. The beef short ribs were tender, soft and well seasoned. It’s juices complemented the mash potato and mushrooms really well. The mash potatoes and mushrooms in itself were great. The pork chops were juicy! Also seasoned well and the spicy honey drizzle does make it really tasty. My girlfriend also enjoyed her mushrooms. The person playing the piano was awesome and since we were there when they just opened, felt like a mini concert 😁. Overall great experience!

Classy upscale Italian American restaurant inside of a Hoboken brownstone. I found my meal to be good, but expensive for what it was. However, my friend got the pasta bolognese and gobbled it up; so YMMV

Been here many times and the highlight is definitely the ambiance and staff. Live music most nights and the nicest owners. Not only do we enjoy regularly dining here, but my wife and I also had our rehearsal dinner of ~30 people here 2 years ago and the owners could not have been more accommodating helping us situate the space and create our menu. Definitely worth a shot, especially dinner for the short rib!

Overall rating: 4.7 My oh my, my friends wanted to try this place being in New Jersey. Through some research I realized it was a very popular place, especially their bread pudding for lunch. I came around 12 so I didn’t really want breakfast food by the time I was ready to eat. I ordered the mussels and while they were good, I was expecting the sauce to be delicious. The green sauce was a lot thinner & tasted very healthy. Not sure why I thought it would taste more like the typical sauce. It was just okay. I also ordered the infamous bread pudding with my friends who agreed reluctantly and wow 3 people was too little. You need at least 4 people to eat that! I took a good amount to go & it filled my dessert for the whole week! It was a really nice setting but the waitress was so friendly! She was selling every piece and wasn’t pushing either. We went around 1 so I think the brunch rush was coming to an end. Everyone was so friendly and I’d definitely go again if I’m in the area. Recommend trying something else that I didn’t order.

This is so good. I saw quite a hype of this place on a tiktok and waited a while to go but I genuinely believe Antique lives up to the hype ESPECIALLY with the bread pudding. I think it was the best dessert I’ve ever had. it’s massive and the 4 of us couldn’t even finish it which i’ve never had an issue with before. Really worth checking out! Great cozy vibe and good staff.

Atmosphere is nice! But the food is just above average! Steak was over cooked although ordered medium rare. The server was no where to be found for 10 min so we just started eating! The muscles are great, but portions are small. Pasta is really good only thing i would give a 5 star Bread budding is good! The caramel and the oven bake flavor is what is making it good! It was a good experience! But it isnt worth coming back for this price. Drinks are great thou!

“Local neighborhood spot with elevated cuisine and service” would be the perfect short blurb for this restaurant. It’s both a special occasion spot and a regular everyday spot at the exact same time. Great entrees and apps and drinks for a lunch a brunch or a dinner. It can be tough to snag a table but the wait or repeated effort is worth it. The pastas the proteins and the veg are all equally worth ordering. The inventive spins on classics like elote and lasagna are delicious and crave worthy demanding a conversation about their deliciousness and an immediate desire to make the next reservation so that you can enjoy them again. The desserts are equally good and the warm skillet cookie is every bit as good as the bread pudding which already has legions of fans. Easily recommend over and over again.

Our waiter was attentive and informative about the food and had good recommendations. The food was good. The short rib was tasty. Burgers were good, and the rigatoni had a nice flavor. The bread pudding was big but very good. The place is nostalgic.

Ate dinner here a few times while I was in Jersey City working on a movie last year. This place is insanely good! Had the best meals each time I went. Service is fantastic, as are the drinks! Very Unique, I highly recommend it.

Pricey, but delicious and a nice option for a special occasion! We started with the Skyline Siren and Johnny Friendly cocktails ($18 each), which were both fresh and tasty. They were able to make a few cocktails into mocktail versions for the kids, which was fun. For food, the lasagna edges is a MUST HAVE. It came out piping hot and was creamy, crispy, mushroomy, and cheesy, easily the best dish of the night. We also had the spinach and cheese stuffed bread, mussels (very small amount of meat for $27), cavatelli, rigatoni, and burger. The burger was disappointing; we ordered medium rare but it was overdone, and strangely soggy. Overall, come for the cocktails and the lasagna edges!

Came here for dinner and was really hoping to like it, but it was a bit disappointing. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. We ordered drinks and my cocktail was delicious! For appetizers, we had the cigares de poisson and the roasted vegetable salad with goat cheese. Salad was pretty good but the cigares could’ve been better. Then it was just downhill from there. We ordered the lamb kofta tagine and a side of potatoes. The meatballs were dry and unseasoned, same with the couscous it came with. We never got our potatoes, after asking twice. We planned on getting dessert but opted out after the entree snafu. Our server tried to remedy the situation by offering us a shot of tequila or vodka, which was a bit strange. Overall, could’ve been much better. Live music was the best part!

We love coming here with our friends for a nice dinner. The food is always very fresh and well made. They have an extensive drink list. Highly recommend any of the items on the menu because I haven’t had anything I don’t like.

My mother and I visited Barbès for a Saturday brunch yesterday. We had never been. We decided to order the goat cheese and mushroom omelette and the watermelon feta salad and share. Omg. Best omelette ever. We liked it so much we ordered another one! Wonderful service- everything was delicious. We can’t wait to come back again!

We had a great night at Barbès. The food was solid, the drinks were alright, but the service was the best part. Ryan was our server and was quite intuitive with his attentiveness. He was great about being there when we needed him, and great about giving us space when we wanted it without us having to let him know. He was also thoughtful with placing extra ice on our table after we commented about how hot the day was. Great, friendly service

Excellent address. We came here around 5pm without reservation. Shout out to lalla Karima for her delicious recipes and the most delicious pastilla au lait I have ever tried. We had the barbes trio (zaalouk is a must), pois chiche salad, lamb couscous, and chicken pastilla💫 Everything was delightful

Terrible food. I got steak and eggs for brunch and the steak, which was supposed to be medium rare, was a very cheap cut cooked grey inside. The eggs were slimy and almost as white as egg whites, very likely from a bag. Extremely slow service. We waited over an hour for food, and had to go find our server multiple times, including to get the check. It wasn't even busy. Very bad experience, will not be back.

If you're in the mood for good Italian cuisine, Otto Strada is the perfect destination. This charming BYOB restaurant offers a delightful experience that brings the flavors of Italy right to your table. While the indoor seating can get quite loud during dinner, the outdoor area provides a much more enjoyable atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the pastas. We tried the Linguine con Pesto di Pepe Rosso, and to our delight, the staff graciously accommodated our request to switch to green pepper. The result was a beautifully balanced dish with vibrant flavors and a rich pesto sauce that perfectly coated the linguine. Next, we tried the Spaghetti Aglio Olio, which packed a little more heat than your typical preparation. The added spice gave it a delightful kick, elevating this classic dish and making it an exciting choice for those who enjoy a bit of zest in their pasta. While the pizza was decent, it was clear that the pastas stole the show during our visit.

Came last night and it was a 2 hour wait (to be expected). It took exactly 2 hours. We ordered the vodka pasta, bolognese pasta, lemon arugula ricotta pizza, and eggplant. I didn’t try the bolognese but the vodka pasta and eggplant were extremely good. The pizza left A LOT to be desired. I actually thought it was awful - we didn’t even finish it. It was cold and had zero flavor until you’d bite and get punched in the mouth with lemon rind. It was so bad I was eating leftover sauce on my dish to wash it down with. I’d recommend you get a different pizza.

It is a nice outdoor dining experience in a city setting, and it gets packed during dinner time. The outdoor seating area is covered under real grape vines. The pasta dishes were fantastic, and the salad was refreshing. In general we like the food here. Service was okay, there was enough staff, but we think there were rooms for improvement. This is a relaxing place great for meeting friends or families when the weather is good out.

Amazing food, great vibe and atmosphere, the food was just so good and yummy. The salad was top class, nothing was cold and everything was room temperature, the mango vinigrette salad is one of the best ever tried. Vodka pasta with small pearl size of buratta is a cherry on top of the cake. The host was so welcoming and suggested us so many dishes to try out.

This place has been packed every day of the week since opening, and I am truly not sure why. I went with a group on a Wednesday night—seemingly the first night with open tables—and the best part of our experience was leaving. It took thirty minutes for our appetizers to arrive, for which the staff was apologetic and even offered us what we thought was complimentary bread (spoiler alert: it was not). If I knew bread would cost $9, I would have brought some in my purse. Another hour passed before we received our entrees, one of which was completely wrong. My friend settled for a pasta because his original choice would have taken an extra 35 minutes to prepare. The server was kind enough to offer us gelato on the house but still charged my friend $29 for a dish he neither ordered nor wanted. This brought our bill to a whopping $150 for incredibly below average food, slow service, and an overall abysmal experience. And don’t forget it’s BYOB.

I had dinner here last night and absolutely loved the vibe. It instantly transported me back to Paris, from the charming decor to the cozy, romantic atmosphere. I had been missing the City of Light, and for a few sweet moments, I truly felt like I was back there. The staff was lovely, especially our waitress, who was warm, attentive, and made the evening even more special. I ordered the French onion soup and the roasted chicken, both were delicious. The soup was rich and comforting, with that perfect cheesy top, and the chicken was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect late afternoon into early evening meal, calm , delightful, and filled with that understated elegance only a true French-inspired café can offer. Will definitely be coming back. Run away!! Hornets/Yellowjackets Alert ‼️ Don’t sit outside unless you want to eat with hornets and yellowjackets. As soon as our food came out, 6–8 swarmed the table, landing on our dishes. The tables next to us had the same problem — I even saw five hornets on someone’s sandwich. Staff just dropped off a takeout box and walked away. Terrible experience. We visited this restaurant for breakfast with our dog. While we were initially happy to find a dog-friendly patio, the experience quickly went downhill. Our server brought out water, but the table was soaking wet and no napkins were provided. We ordered a coffee and a latte, which arrived with liquid pooled at the bottom of the mugs — again, no napkins until we had to ask. Once our food arrived, it was immediately swarmed by Yellowjackets. The situation became uncomfortable and borderline unsafe — we had to stand up and move around to avoid being stung, all while the wasps were landing directly on our food. We decided it was best to leave and asked to have the food boxed up. However, rather than bringing the food inside to safely pack it, the server simply dropped off takeout containers on the wasp-infested table. I ended up making multiple trips inside to bring the food in myself and transfer it from the plates to the boxes. To top it off, we were charged full price despite not being able to finish (or even enjoy) our meal, and we had to leave our drinks behind. I understand outdoor dining can come with challenges, but this situation felt poorly handled from start to finish. Hopefully management considers some improvements — better prep of outdoor tables, more attentiveness with basic service needs (like napkins), and a plan for dealing with insects when they become a real problem.

The food is so delicious, the inside is beautiful. The fries are super crispy and amazing. Next time I’m going for dinner!!! I just can’t deal with the bad service from some of the staff. The waitress was in such a mood and not kind at all.

I just happened to walk by this place last night and it was packed…. I decided to try it for lunch and it did not disappoint! I had the 1/2 prime rib sandwich with a cup of French Onion soup… Both excellent! I told the waiter it was excellent… and he noted that they are always full with their ‘regular’ customers… which is a good sign! I’ll be back!

This place is a Hoboken institution and a throwback to the good old days of cash only and family owned Italian joints in Jersey. Service is great and the vibe is too. The table is hard to get but if you call they usually have some last minute cancellations or tables earlier in the night. You can also try to sit at the bar. The food, is classic red sauce options. I must admit though was a little disappointed in everything but the shrimp in garlic and wine sauce, which was sublime. We also had the pork chop, chicken parm, chicken piccata, meatballs , and carbonara.

Best chicken parm of my life, sauce, chicken, cheese, pasta, just insanely good. “Sunday sauce” rigatoni dish also incredible with the meat set aside. Fra diablo lobster tails and mussels with linguine also perfectly spicy and ridiculously good. The bread is freshly baked and just crazy delicious. The ice cream “affogato” dessert was amazing. I think the key is the best red sauce you’ll ever taste in your life. Denise at the bar made us feel like we were eating at home. All the one star reviews are people who just don’t get how these small family style places operate. Be on time and bring the cash, and be very polite, like you’re visiting your Italian grandma, not eating at Il Mulino. If you love incredibly good Italian food and want that “home style” atmosphere and cooking (and don’t mind putting on a couple pounds) this is the place. Definitely worth the trip from Manhattan.

Unfortunately, our experience at Augustino’s was not welcoming. As first-time walk-in guests, we were surprised by the cold and somewhat intimidating reception from the front staff. While I understand every business has its policies, how they’re communicated matters just as much as the rules themselves. The approach taken came off as harsh and uninviting rather than informative or friendly. It might help if a more approachable staff member—perhaps someone with a naturally warm demeanor—handled guest interactions. First impressions shape the entire visit, and this one set a negative tone before we even sat down. Also, the policy around card vs. cash payments felt unnecessarily rigid. A small discount for cash-paying customers might ease that, but better still would be clarity and kindness when explaining these rules upfront. We walked quite a distance to try this place, so the letdown was more than just minor. A bit more hospitality and flexibility could really go a long way—especially for new visitors. Feedback like this may seem small, but over time, repeated experiences like ours will affect the restaurant’s reputation across platforms.

I stopped by in person to inquire about a reservation and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience with the staff member handling bookings. Upon greeting her, I politely acknowledged that reservations are often difficult to secure here and asked when the next available table might be. Rather than assisting, she responded curtly with, “What day or date?” When I explained that any evening would work, she repeated the same question with visible impatience. After I suggested Thursday or Friday—while clarifying that weekdays were also fine since we live nearby—she flipped through the reservation book abruptly and stated those days were unavailable. When I again asked if she could tell me the next open slot, she simply repeated, “I need a day or date,” in an unhelpful and dismissive tone. No matter how great the food may be, an experience begins with hospitality, and the lack of courtesy at the reservation stage left a lasting negative impression. It’s disappointing that such an acclaimed restaurant allows such unprofessional service at the very first point of contact.

Food - average. Service - we arrived for a 6:30 reservation - our wedding anniversary, I sat down, then was asked to move to a different table - all while my husband was parking the car. He walked in at 6:45. At this time we were told we couldn't order anything on the bone/ sauteed on the bone because we were late and wouldn't have time. We were rushed to order everything else. At the end - we were done 15 min early. It was the most unpleasant, sit down, big important date celebration I have ever experienced.

This place is amazing - very delicious food, very nice ambience and vibe. It is quite small so you should make a reservation in advance - walk ins can be difficult simply because there isn’t much space. The food is absolutely amazing - definitely check it out!

I can’t believe that I lived in Hoboken for 10+ years without ever going here. It’s fantastic. The second I walked though the door, I knew by the aromas in the dining room, I was in for a night of good food. We (thankfully) got to taste everyone’s dishes and everything was exceptional. Veal picatta, chicken parm, lamb chops and GIANT veal chops were all so flavorful and well prepared. We also had the juiciest meatballs and the calamari (and its tomato sauce) was the best I’ve ever had. Great servers with sass! Make a rez and go.

My boyfriend’s steak was ordered medium rare and came out pretty much still alive. Chicken was good. The wine servings were QUITE small. $13 per glass. Server seemed miserable and not very friendly. Tables uncomfortably close together. Overall, our experience didn’t meet the expectations.

I had a great time at Grand Vin we were there for the 10$ speciality cocktails and the old fashion was delicious and exhilarating as it was a smoked version which was fun. We got the calamari, short rib, and the tagliatelle which were all delicious. I appreciated that we asked to switch from The dining room to the high tops and we were moved swiftly and easily. Their bread also gets a shoutout as that crusty crispy boo was delicious. Also the music was one banger after another which I loved. Great place for a first date cause if you don’t enjoy your company you get good music, food, and drinks. It’s a win I’d say

Went here with a friend and we had a great evening. The food was cooked beautifully. The service was exceptional. We definitely will be coming back. They also have a deal on oysters on Thursday nights as well as live music on Wednesday nights.

GV Chicken • This dish came out huge — not what I expected, but I was into it. • Crispy breading with a juicy cutlet made for a satisfying bite. • Toppings of vodka sauce, pesto, and stracciatella di bufala took it up a notch. • A bit tough to cut — a steak knife and thinner cut would’ve helped. • I paired it with a side of vodka rigatoni — creamy and delish! Cod Oreganata • Jonathan cleared his plate, but it didn’t leave a huge impression. • The fish itself was a little bland for me. • I did enjoy the breadcrumb topping with the roasted peppers and spinach. Food at Grand Vin is always amazing quality for dinner!! For 2 mocktails, 1 drink, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert, total was $150. I would highly recommend making a reservation, and sometimes on weekend they have live music. The GV Chicken is essentially like a chicken parm. Very good! The beef was amazing as well.

Attempted to walk in for a drink at 5pm on June 4th. The host held me at the door to “see if the bartender was ready”, because they had “just opened” (online says they open at 4pm) he then told me to come right on in! “I” greeted the bartender and let him know I was just coming in for a quick drink, since they were advertising a $5 happy hour beverage. The bartender immediately said “we don’t have anything that’s $5!” I told him about the sign outside, and he just stood there shaking his head “no” without even attempting to see what I was talking about. I left. If people don’t want your business, don’t give it to them.

Tried Cuban food for the first time and it was an amazing experience! The portions were generous, and the flavors were incredible. Our waiter was attentive and made sure all my allergy restrictions were carefully followed. They even made us custom mocktails that were absolutely delicious. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with Spanish music playing in the background and a cozy interior that made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place!

A friend at the table ordered the garlic shrimp, and I stole a bite. It was incredible. Of course, you can’t have a Cuban meal without a proper drink, and The Cuban did not disappoint. I was not expecting to find a Cuban restaurant this good in Hoboken. Definitely recommend the Ropa Vieja, the Churrasco, churros and tres leches. We also ordered a whole fried red snapper, but as expected fish it’s not their specialty. Prices are reasonable. We got Espresso Martini and Guava Mojito (my favorite).

This place has such a fun vibe from the moment you walk in. The place gives off real Cuban energy with the decor and music. Starting off with a coconut rum drink was very refreshing and fresh never had anything as such before. We tried the empanadas and they were fresh with a flavorful twist, especially with the black bean puree on the side. The aguacate chips with Cuban-style guac were surprisingly good. I wasn’t expecting much but they were honestly a standout. We also ordered the vegetarian paella and it came out sizzling, packed with grilled veggies and full of flavor. The food overall was hot, fresh, and worth every bite. The staff inside was super friendly and warm, except for the Indian host at the front who gave us a weird look when we walked in. No smile, no greeting, just felt like she didn’t want us there, which made things awkward for a second. It stood out because everyone else was so nice and welcoming. Apart from that, everything was great. The food was 10/10, and I’d definitely come back again to try more. The whole place has great energy and makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a little slice of Havana.

I ordered takeout. The portion size was relatively large for the price, and the food tasted good. The staff are very friendly.

Came for brunch. The juice was super fresh and made the carafe of mimosas super enjoyable. The food was not as great. It was not horrible enough to send back, but it just missed the mark. The Margherita pizza tasted like store bought frozen pizza, the steak frites came over cooked and the potatoes burned. And the French toast Benedict sounded good in theory, but lacked some much needed texture other than soft. The service was fast and polite.

I went to this restaurant for my mother’s birthday dinner, and we had such a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfectly made, and the service was outstanding. The staff were so friendly and welcoming — they really made me and my family feel right at home and made my mom’s birthday extra special. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, excellent drinks, and such genuine hospitality. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. Tried out Antony David’s in Hoboken and had a mixed but overall good experience. The spring squash tortellini was light and fresh, though the flavor felt a bit underwhelming for me personally. The lychee martini was spot on refreshing and smooth, definitely a highlight. For starters, we had the hummus plate and the whipped ricotta. The hummus was okay, but the whipped ricotta stood out, it was thick, creamy, slightly sweet with a hint of honey. Highly recommend that one. Desserts were the real winners here. The brownie with pistachio gelato was rich and comforting, definitely a must-try. But the star for me was the espresso panna cotta. Super flavorful, and the coffee hit instantly with a bold, robust finish. Probably the best thing I had that night. Good spot for drinks and dessert for sure. I’d come back just for the panna cotta and cocktails.

My partner and I, along with our dog, had a 5:15 PM Sunday reservation and were promptly seated at one of the many available outdoor tables. The restaurant is nestled in a tranquil, residential corner of Hoboken, making for a peaceful and pleasant people-watching experience without the disturbance of heavy traffic. The service was a definite highlight. Our waitress was gracious and attentive throughout the meal. We were particularly touched when they brought out a disposable foil bowl of water for our dog—a small but significant gesture of hospitality that we greatly appreciated. The wine list was somewhat limited for our taste, but we were very pleased with the option of a reasonable $25 corkage fee, which allowed us to enjoy a special bottle we brought from home. Our meal began on a high note with the appetizers. Both the Heirloom Baby Beets and the House Whipped Ricotta were excellent, showcasing fresh ingredients and balanced flavors that set a promising stage for the main courses. However, the entrees presented a more mixed experience. The Eggplant Bolognese featured bucatini cooked to a perfect al dente, but unfortunately, the sauce seemed to sit on the surface of the pasta rather than being fully infused, leaving the dish wanting for a deeper marriage of flavors. The Crispy Rohan Duck Breast was a similar story of near-perfection. The flavor combination was lovely, with a house-made, reduced cherry demi complementing the rich duck beautifully. The letdown, however, was in the execution of the skin; despite the "crispy" descriptor on the menu, it was not rendered so. In conclusion, Anthony David's offers a truly wonderful atmosphere and top-notch service that make for a delightful evening. While the appetizers were flawless, the entrees, though conceptually sound, had minor flaws in execution that kept them from reaching the same heights. Would I return? I'm undecided. The service and ambiance are strong pulls, but the food gives me pause. I would certainly consider coming back to explore more of their excellent appetizers over a glass of wine, but I'd need to deliberate before committing to another full dinner.

Excellent Hoboken restaurant. The food is fresh and well prepared: tried the pistachio crusted branzino—delicious! The grilled octopus, tuna tartar and kale salad were great appetizers. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The patio setup at Anthony David’s is beautiful and inviting! Fantastic food, creative cocktails, and excellent service. Loved the Friday night vibes with a live guitarist! I love live music and being outdoors, perfect evening out. I come here at least once a week and it’s truly my favorite place in the neighborhood.

I’ve noticed a big improvement in the food quality recently, which is great! The new mobile ordering system is super convenient and made the whole experience smoother. However, the prices have gone up a bit, so I’m giving it 4 stars. Still a great spot for drinks and bites!

Used to be our favorite spot in Hoboken where we would go every month, but unfortunately it went south recently. Last time we went there it took forever to get our order and in the end they made mistake in our receipt. But overall atmosphere is lovely. I would recommend this spot for dinner/drinks with friends. Beer selection is huge if you like beer. Our favorite is buffalo wings!! It’s delicious and we order it every time we go there!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I was finally able to try it and I gotta say, it was out of this world. The pierogi were perfectly cooked and amazing, the kielbasa was extremely delicious with a nice crisp in each bite, and bratwurst handheld was a simple yet tasty joy on ciabatta bread. I loved the atmosphere and the older vibe/style to it. Everyone was extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Though on the pricy end, this was well worth the experience. Highly recommend this place!

There are a ton of beer options available in both half and full liter sizes. They also have a decent sized wine list. Food was great. Highly recommend the bratwurst and potato pancakes. They have outdoor seating with furnaces and plenty of space indoors. Great service and really solid menu.

The Pilsener Haus & Biergarten has communal style tables, but despite that me and my husband were still able to have an intimate dinner in their outdoor seating area! For your reference, the bill for our dinner (2 beers, 1 appetizer, 2 mains, 1 dessert) was $89.57 with tax. The food was incredibly good, the fries were a bit stale and the main reason for my lower review, as I believe they should match the quality of the rest of the food if they are going to be served as a side for everything.. the potato pancakes were infinitely better in our opinion. Weirdly enough, our favorite thing from the night was the pulled pork my husband ordered, I usually don’t even like it but theirs was incredibly tender and juicy. I was skeptical about the bread pudding, but it turned out delicious.

Excellent authentic German cuisine with the brew to back it up. Does not disappoint if you dont mind an authentic bier hall seating arrangement. Sometimes finding seating for you and your Honey may be difficult at peak times. Good food with NYC pricing. Be prepared. Oh, and you must order the pretzel! UPDATE: it's been 5 years since I have been here. Just as good if not better than the first time. Ordered soup to nuts with some family. Great time, good beer and virtues. Visited on Half Price Monday, where 90% of the menu is 50% off.

We spent a sunny, end-of-summer afternoon in the garden and had a great time. They use an online system to order and keep track of your tab, which was great. Food and drinks turn up very quickly after you order. Of course you can place orders with the staff if you prefer, and everyone there was super friendly and professional. I had several of the Oktoberfest beers which are a good deal when you factor in that you can order a liter or half-liter. We also had several starters including the pierogis, potato pancakes, and of course a pretzel, as well as a bratwurst on a nice brioche roll. Music and vibe of the garden were excellent. The interior is huge and has TVs showing all the games. Probably because we were there during the day, there were lots of dogs and babies at the dogs around us (whether that's a positive or negative is up to you!)

If you're seeking high-quality food and value for your money, you might want to explore other options.

Absolutely a delight to sit outside under the covered breezy patio and enjoy their brunch! The prosciutto and fig pizza was amazing! They have great brunch specials too that can be shared. Definitely will be back.

I recently took my wife for dinner to Bin 14 and we were both highly disappointed with the quality of the food ordered, which included a Margherita pizza and a Caesar salad. The pizza had little to no cheese and lumps of canned tomato paste. The salad was tasteless. In my view, there are far better restaurants in Hoboken that serve quality food, and which provide a better dining experience.

Worst order I ever had. This falafel sandwich for $10 is crazy. There is 2 falafels inside . Veggies are so less. Beef gyro sandwich does not worth it for $12.

This is a Mediterranean delight. Went there for a friend’s birthday dinner and so glad to have chosen this place. The staff is extremely accommodating and helpful. They even played the birthday song while we cut the cake (which was really nice). Everything we ordered was so refreshing from the Tabouleh salad to the falafel platter and the Sahara chicken. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Super friendly on the pocket. Will definitely be back again.

The best middle eastern/Mediterranean food in Hoboken. Not overly spicy nor tasteless, just perfect. The portions are big, so order accordingly. They have great meat and decent chicken. I'm not a huge fan of gyro in general but their's was very decent. Love the ambiance of the family run business.

This was a very interesting spot. The entrance was not very enticing and there was no mood or atmosphere where I walked in slightly after lunch. Quite honestly I thought they were closed down. The lights were dim, you could see packing boxes everywhere and when I walked in the woman was on the phone. Though she quickly got off to ask what I needed it was still rather strange. I took a glance at the menu, of which I had reviewed online to make sure they had the beef gyro I wanted. The chef then came out of the back and began to chop it all up with his knives little did I know this was going to be a fantastic sandwich. In less than 10 minutes I had a fresh gyro wrapped up to go for about 12 dollars. I said my thank you and proceeded to eat my sandwich in the car. The sandwich was delicious to be fair one of the best I have had. While I don’t think I would ever go there for a formal sit down as the location was not enticing. I would go back and order another takeout. The ratio of beef to vegetables was great and they didn’t over do the white sauce. Most gyros sandwiches are over done. The meat was not over cooked and the vegetables were well seasoned as well. Kudos to the chef.

My husband and I have been here in the past for date night and enjoyed the environment and service and the food. We went there this past March for our wedding anniversary. We ordered a glass of white wine and a Heineken beer for drinks. We are both big water drinkers, there was a bottle of water on the table and we were provided with water glasses. The water was horrible it tasted like it was straight from the river and the bottle was capped with reused cork so pouring the water into the glass made it taste even worse and the water was room temperature, we weren’t offered different water or ice. The food was okay, we ordered fried calamari for an appetizer and 2 entrees. We would’ve stayed to get dessert but we lost our appetite from not having the availability to cold water. Also the restaurant is very dark the only light is from a small lamp on the table. If the water situation is fixed we would probably go back because the rest of the food and service are good, but not until then that was just gross.

The food is good, the service is excellent and the risottos are very tasty. As a starter, order the octopus, it's delicious and the fried burrata is excellent. Also the pasta, La Nona, and the large piece of bacon is delicious. Of course, accompanied by a very tasty peosecco. Excellent atmosphere to celebrate a birthday.

We went to an Italian restaurant on Monday night and didn't have to wait to be seated. The place isn't big, but it has enough space both indoors and outdoors. I heard about this spot from a friend, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try their pasta. Maybe next time we'll order it. We ordered some drinks and appetizers. As usual in an Italian place, they give you complimentary bread. That day, the oven wasn't working, so we couldn't order pizza. Instead, we got burrata, calamari, and seared tuna. Overall, I liked everything, but it wasn't the best I've tried so far – just okay. Prices are a bit above average, with main dishes costing between $30 and $40.

Lovely restaurant in a warm and cozy setting. Good food and good service. Tried their clams oreganata , salmon piccata and a side of rigatoni with pick vodka sauce. Everything was delicious and made fresh. They have comfortable seating indoors and outdoors and a large bar with good drinks and seating. Service is fast and the staff are friendly and attentive We enjoyed our visit and will be back.

Ngl, came here with no expectations, the employees were so kind and considerate. Asked to many questions, but still they were kind enough to help us out. Loved the food served, loved the atmosphere. One of the host suggested a dish and we tried that out. It was amazing and would definitely want to come back and try brunch menu. The ambiance is amazing and do try the Yucca Fries and Arepas. Was just passing by and saw this restaurant and I must admit this is a new place I am addicted to.

Being honest, the food here is about three-star-worthy. But the prices. The prices are from 2010, and as long as Chango keeps its menu at those prices, I'm going to keep loving them. Christ on a chopstick, I haven't seen an $8 sandwich since I was in grad school (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth)! We started with the Tamal Cubano, which was fantastically delicious, though the accompanying sauce wasn't hot at all. A shame, because it was well-flavored--just needed a lot more capsaicin. My Cubano was very well done, but barely had any pickle in it, which made me sad. I opted to add fries and wasn't sad about the small, thin ones I got (very McDonald's-shaped). However, the Pechuga de Pollo Adobada con Escabeche de Calabaza was a disappointment. The grilled chicken was drastically overcooked, probably because they used really lean breast meat. The accompanying Caribbean pumpkin was interesting, but too small. The other side of rice and beans was perfect, though--great bean texture and lots of savory flavor. With tax and tip included, our meal came out to $33. $33! You can't even get lunch for one person for that price at 90% of Manhattan restaurants south of Central Park. I could've cried with wonder at the bill. Time travel is real guys--at least financially. Just hop into El DeLorean and come to Chango.

I have nothing but the very best to say about this place. Foremost, the food is excellent in every way - flavor, authenticity and uniqueness, and copious enough for two meals each. But the service is what struck me as extraordinary. They are super friendly to begin with. But the fact that they'll make whole jugs of delicious cocktails with the booze that you bring, for a small fee, is the cherry on top. All these things make this place completely worthwhile and an enjoyable venue for meals. We've been there so many times that they know our drink preferences by heart. And back to their food - everything is so good that my friends and I have been going through their entire menu with every visit. We recommend this place 100%.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!! Our server Luis was kind, attentive, and provided us with the best experience. Luis took his time to answer any questions we had, ensured that we have the best experience, and made us feel like family. The food was a 10/10 and the energy was welcoming!

We got there at 1:15 with my family and two infants (party of seven). Restaurant was half full. They said they would seat us in about 5 mins. They had us wait outside. As I put the strollers aside they told my partner 5 mins. 10 mins later my partner went in and there was no one at service. At 1:30 I went in to check and the guy at the register told me that they were waiting for a table to clear out and they would be another minute or so despite them still eating. We would've appreciated at least not being ignored or acknowledged that there would be a longer wait. We left, we were pretty stoked to try their food but not with that service.

Took my son here and we had a great time. The sushi was fresh and solid, and there was a musical duo playing live—which added a fun vibe to the night. No complaints at all. The only reason I hesitate to give it a full five stars is because we’ve been to some truly exceptional sushi spots that set the bar really high. That said, for Hoboken, this place is a standout. Definitely worth checking out.

If you’re looking for a place to test your patience, this is it! We waited over an hour for our food, and the place wasn’t even that full. The waitress was sweet (bless her heart), but nothing can make up for waiting that long for a simple meal. Maybe next time they’ll serve the food before breakfast… the next day. I want to love this place so bad but I’ve been here so many times and there is always and I mean always something that goes wrong. It should come as no shock that when we order takeout it’s the same thing. At this point we’ll definitely continue getting sushi and takeout elsewhere, which is a shame because the place has a nice vibe, fun drinks, and decent food. We ordered for pick up and it said it would take 40-50 mins. We get there and they had given our food away, so we had to wait another 15-20 minutes for them to remake our food. Then I get home and the side of spicy mayo that I ordered was all over the bag. Needless to say, it’s never a seamless experience and I’m over it. For $77 bucks, not really worth it IMO.

Took 40 minutes to have someone take our order and then over an 1 hour 20 min total to get our food. Food tasted great and fresh but portions were very small. Went to a pizza place after because we were so hungry. Had to watch a table that came after us order, get drinks, and their food all before our table. Not only this but we were placed in the darkest part of the restaurant so our eyes strained just trying to read the poorly printed menu. Only gave 2 rolls menu to a table of 6 people. If you are here with more than 2 people do not come. Much better places in Hoboken that are worth the value.

Unfortunately had such an awful experience that I had to write a review! I made my reservation days in advance, and called 2 hours before to update the number of people from 4 to 3. At the very end of the call, the host casually throws in, “oh by the way, you’ll be sitting outside.” Outside, in the middle of October, with no space heaters. The manager couldn’t have cared less and was extremely condescending - I asked why I was only finding out about this now on a Friday night, and his response was, “I guess that’s just how it works when you book online.” I also asked him if all the customers who made reservations online knew they were sitting outside in 50 degree weather, he said … no, i guess not! I had a much more pleasant experience at Sushi Lounge - and the food is much better too! Saku unfortunately had no respect with my experience, no sense of accountability, and apparently no idea how to manage reservations.

Enjoyed our dinner here. The crispy rice with ahi tuna was far and away our best selection. The crispy bao buns were good, especially the bites with barbecue sauce. The steak on the steak sandwich was too well done and chewy unfortunately. Service and atmosphere were great and it was pretty busy for a Tuesday night.

At its core, it’s a blend of ingredients, techniques, and flavors from different cultures and culinary traditions that creates something entirely new. They are popping up all over the culinary world, including on restaurant menus. Open since June 2022, this establishment has quickly become a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, located on First Street in Hoboken for brunch. The reservation was easily made via Resy. Inspired by his owner’s Irish roots, Dear Maud invokes the Irish poet W. B. Yeats, being a contemporary American with subtle hints of Irish and Asian cuisine. Upon arrival as first-timers outside of the Washington Avenue establishments, my partner, our friend, and I were greeted by the host, who led us to an earth-toned leather booth in back of the bar between the two cozy and casual dining areas with various shades of sage green everywhere one looks. Their menu offered brunch with a full bar capability for handcrafted cocktails. We decided on the Breakfast Burrito, Steak & eggs, and Avocado Toast. Every dish was executed flawlessly and was beyond delicious using the freshest ingredients. The price was very reasonable. Overall, it was a great experience thanks to our server, Shane from Sligo. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. We can recommend it.

Got to the restaurant late but the service was excellent. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. Definitely recommend if you're in the Hoboken area and haven't tried this place to stop by. Need to make sure to mention that they have a fabulous bar as well

The food was extremely small portioned and overly seasoned. The selections were odd considering the Irish heritage and background of “Dear Maud”. The servers and staff were all extremely kind. But would I return? Nah. 6 tiny overcooked shrimp or 10’tiny over cooked chicken bites for a 20$ dish. Or the overly seasoned fries. Could get the same quanlity with better portions at an in and out for less money. Def aiming toward the younger hip crowd of Hoboken but falls shorts of the quality per price when so many amazing Irish and American fusion restaurants in the area.

one of the top 3 restaurants in Hoboken right now. amazing drinks, food and service with a great vibe and a kitchen open until midnight sun to Thurs. we had the crispy rice with tuna, chicken bites, pesto rigatoni and teriyaki bowl. the chicken and the pasta were amongst the best I've ever had. and I've had a lot. service was 10 out of 10. drinks came out fast and we're made amazing. espresso martini, frozen mango passion fruit marg and spicy marg, and rose sangria. all excellent. will come over and over.

Great atmosphere — they really nailed the décor. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the setting. I had the short rib rice, and my friends ordered the rigatoni pasta and a burger. We all agreed the food was maybe a 4 out of 10 at best. The biggest letdown, though, was the service. Our server (a British-looking guy) barely checked on us and didn’t seem to care when we mentioned that the “truffle fries” had zero truffle flavor. Drinks were solid, I’ll give them that. This place has a lot of potential — beautiful space, good vibe — but they’re definitely not making the most of it right now.

Warning: 3 guests during the dinner was poisoned from the food—myself included. 2 of us got sick during the meal/expelled at the restaurant, last person was on the toilet in the evening!! Upon reporting it to the manager, he was very very kind and followed up with me during/after the meal. Could not confirm what caused it but think that the team did well to ensure comfort/follow-up. Ambiance (3/5): The décor is super trendy and the establishment is huge! While the place is great for bigger groups, the music way way too loud to even converse with the people sitting next to you. There’s an area near the bar to hangout and drink. It feels really cool inside. Dark and almost clubby. Service (5/5): Our server gave us good recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. Cocktails during happy hour is unbelievable $9 until 7p – I was a fan of their mango passion fruit! And they’re all pretty alcoholic! Love Food (4/5) Crispy rice and spicy tuna – my favorite of the apps! Spicy sausage flatbread – nothing to write home about Short rib bao bun – I enjoyed this! Chicken bao – I enjoyed this! Tostadas – skippable Hummus – skippable Short rib fried rice – a little too salty but otherwise good Steak sandwich – Nicely flavored

We had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The ambiance was great, and the food was decent. The baby back ribs were falling off the bones, but the crust was a bit overcooked. The coleslaw and French onion soup were just okay. The fried chicken burger was a bit dry, but the roasted chicken with hand-mashed golden potatoes was delicious. Overall, the service was good, and the ambiance was nice. There were a few tweaks that could be made to the dishes we ordered, but overall, it was a good place to go.

Great food for any occasion. Never a full time eating on the water. The views are incredible. Nice and chill vibe for any time of the day. Any occasion. Whether it’s an intimate dinner or casual catch up.

Cheesesteak eggrolls are insanely delicious, I would honestly go back just for those! The hand-mashed gold potatoes were absolutely amazing too. Fish tacos were okay. The beef short rib with polenta was just okay for me, a bit too greasy and heavy. The lobster tail, on the other hand, was really good. And the margaritas were delicious as well!

I came in around 5pm wed 29-2025 ordered their ahi tuna tacos pretty good, burger for wife, it’s ok and then the 45 day aged steak Medium-Rare, looked nice and then cut into it and it was well done. Wife asked for another since it was over cooked and then manager brought another asked me to cut it and before it was even cut down the middle he was gone. Steak was completely rare and cold in the middle. Waited hot min for bartender to come back and I asked him what did the steak look like to him..??? He looks and kinda laughed and said “Uhh def Rare…. You uh..at least want a box for that?” Umm yeah sure even tho I didn’t even take a single bite. The service of the bartender was ok I prob should have listened and just got the regular steak instead of the dry aged but no one really gave a crap about the quality of the meal or experience, and for an $80+ steak I feel like that’s a rip off and the management was absolutely embarrassing. I can’t recommend this place unless you want a drink and half a view of the town. I manage several night clubs and this type of service would not be acceptable let alone keep a good name. I hope you guys can work on these issues, kitchen/ Management and customer service. The manager could have at least took a moment to make the situation right and it was out of the bartender hands by this time. If management would have been like “hey let me make this right” or “I’m sorry what can I do to fix this” I wouldn’t even spent the time of day on this review.

My husband and I came here for our 16 year anniversary. The food was amazing, our server Andres was so great! The egg rolls were soo delicious!!! Everything to be honest! Andres our server kept checking up on us and gave us great recommendations with the food and it did not disappoint! Will recommend this place to others!

Restaurant is located near the water which is nice. The food was ok. Drinks were good. Waiter was good but completely forgot one of my appetizers. Probably wouldnt go back.

If you are a steak lover, this place has some good aged prime steaks. High level place on in NYC and Jersey. Our 3 visits had not best experience at all. The meat was overcooked, I asked for olive oil and we received canola oil and have patience, it was a challenging 2 hours, but finally the food came out good. No one apologizes, just sorry.

Definitely the best steakhouse in Hoboken. I would recommend the 24Oz Sirloin (at $68) x 2 vs. the 32 Oz Porterhouse for two (at $118) - better value for money - just ask for it to be cut and served hot. The Canadian bacon is great too though they serve it with coleslaw on top which makes NO sense. Not much of a beer selection but they serve it in a chilled glass which works.

Food was amazing, service was good. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. And the wagyu tartar was delicious.

Just LOVE this place. I've been going here since I was a child and everything was amplified when I chose to have my reception party here in early October. The staff were beyond excellent, the food was scrumptious, the set up was perfect even with a DJ + photobooth + live artist. Everything was taken care of and truly the experience soared beyond our expectations. The feedback we got from guests were typically around how great the service was, how tasty the food was and their appreciation for the capacity to be in&outside. Loud and old fashioned with arguably the best porterhouse in the area, even topping Manhattan. Excellent side dishes and delicious pork chops. Best of the Frankie & Johnnie’s when it had that name a long time ago.

When we came here it was pretty packed but we had a Reservation and managed to get a seat tucked away on the side of the place. Was kind of disappointed as I made the reservation for a birthday dinner and made then away. I was also looking to watch the live jazz band as I mentioned with my reservation as that was part of the birthday plan but was sat in the back. For food we got the salmon dish and a steak. For starters we got the Applewood bacon. The bacon had a little more fat then we wanted but decent flavor. The salmon cane with a side of avocado and tomato had decent flavor. The steak topped with mushrooms wasn't that good. Was looking for a bit more flavor. For dessert options the cheesecake tasted like store or frozen the other dessert option forget the name was like a pudding in the cup overall desserts didn't meet our expectations. Service also lacked as the server wasn't very attentive. I'd be willing to give the place another try just was disappointing for bday plans.

Food was really good! i recommend the thick cut bacon🤤! and the chicken was super tender and juicy. I LOVED THE POTATOES. I wish the atmosphere was more modern but i get the concept. The pianist was also a good touch !

The food was actually really good - especially the pizza. However, the service was quite disappointing. When we walked in, the staff just stared without saying anything. Also, when we asked for the check, they started clearing the table. While wiping it down, they PUSHED TRASH TOWARD ME — ESPECIALLY ONTO MY SKIRT — and some of it EVEN FELL ON ME. Still, NO APOLOGY. Good food, but the service REALLY NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.

Food was really good but the service leaves a lot to be the desired. The hostess somewhat escorted us to our table but put the menus down and walked off without saying a word so I had to guess what our table was. Second, had to flag down waiter most of the times to order something. Third, while seated the waitress was talking loudly behind me to a friend on the outside of the restaurant like I wasn't even there. This place is a one and done kind of place.

Love Blue Eyes! The pizza is amazing! Been here several times on Sunday afternoons - perfect time as not too crowded. Always good service. Very nice staff - they have always been accommodating as my dad walks with a cane. It’s just a great little place with a beautiful view and good food.

I arrived from the freezing cold of New Jersey to the restaurant on Frank Sinatra's boardwalk with the intention of warming up, and I was greeted with the warmest welcome by lovely Anabella, I enjoyed an incredibly delicious coffee and cannelloni stuffed with exquisite cheese. It was such a delightful and cozy experience. Thank you for everything!

I stopped in for a beer while waiting for my friends to come in from North Jersey. I was greeted at the bar by Stefany who rules the bar with grace and professionalism and keeps a close eye on the needs of all customers. Lorenzo dances like an expert meistro around the brick oven turning out all sorts of baked delicacies. Serving the tables with a beautiful smile was Nina from Montenegro. My quick beer turned into a wonderful early evening experience. Thank you Stefany!

The service was great. The food was very tasty. Everything was good from the drinks, to the appetizers, the main, and desserts was a 10/10 would definitely recommend. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside and enjoyed the view.

I usually go to sorelina 5,6 times a year for the past 5 years and it had been good. But not sure if they had a change of chef or owner or the recipe, the food is just not the same as before! My go to dish was the pistachio cream pasta. It was creamy and falvorful with a heavy nutty taste. For the last two times I went, it was watery and blend. Barely any nutty flavor but just watery pasta. Can’t remember how much the price was before but it also definitely went up quite a lot. Average spending around $75 per person for the last two times I went. At this point, the food quality went down with higher pricing. I just don’t think it is worth it anymore. The second dish was lobster pasta. The lobster was so fishy it just didn’t taste fresh at all… we also ordered one drink each person with appetizers to go up to around 75 per person after tax and tips

When they first opened 3 of my friends complained of food poisoning, I never went. It’s been some years and close I thought I’d give it a try. The music was so loud and some kind of rap not conducive for a relaxing meal. The service was poor and slow. I ordered the pistachio rigatoncini with shrimp and bacon. That night I broke out in hives and vomiting all night. I got food poisoning! This is a warning the food is bad and they mask the taste by over salting.

Will absolutely be back. Sorellina is a tasty spot with a warm, vintage, chic & welcoming atmosphere. The menu is innovative with a small twist on classic dishes. The staff is so friendly, inviting and polite. The manager was active on the floor and rolling up his sleeves! His name is Matt, wonderful guy. We were well taken care of.

Check didn’t match the menu, incredibly disappointed about that - just an icky feeling. Bruscetta for instant was $6 on our menu, but $7 online. Cacio e Pepe was yummy but too salty for me. Crispy chicken was delicious and the way to go! Service was great, just wish they kept their menu prices up to date. Tainted the experience.

We came here with a group of friends and shared a few dishes — everything was delicious! The servers helped us pair wines and made great recommendations. It’s a lively spot without being too loud, which made conversation easy.

Had a great experience yesterday with Phillip!! He kept me company serving me at the bar when I was having a rough day and was super friendly and personable. Kindness goes a long way with me :) Also talked me through all the cocktails he designed. Very impressive! Will definitely be coming back and hopefully I have him again!

Walked in on a Friday night and was able to get a seat at the bar. The atmosphere was great, decorated for the holidays and cozy vibe. We started with holiday cocktails - gingerbread espresso martini and peppermint mocha espresso martini, both fabulous. As for food, we got the squash and ricotta for an app - this was a cold dish and very small. Dinner we got pistachio and bolognese pastas. Both fresh but could have used more flavor in my opinion. A little pricey for pasta but overall good experience.

Food was great and the set up inside the restaurant was really nice. The spicy Paloma cocktail was delicious. The oysters are highly recommended. Spaghetti carbonara was my main dish and I thought it was delicious. The desserts tasted good we ended up getting two for the table.

My husband and I really enjoyed this place, the service was quick, the appetizers came quick the oysters and clams were SO good , the drinks the main course everything was so fresh and delicious! We also ordered the lobster biscuits they are a must try soooo good we didn’t even take a picture because it was eaten so quickly 🤤, we will definitely come back here !

Not sure why there are some negative reviews on here. My husband and I ate here for our wedding anniversary this weekend (7/15/23) and it was absolutely incredible. We got the lobster biscuits for appetizer, lobster rigatoni and the pan seared halibut for entrees. The biscuits were perfectly fresh and warm, the lobster pasta had so much flavor (and they gave an amazing portion of lobster!) and the halibut was seared and cooked to perfection. The saffron potatoes that came with the fish were so good too!! We then had the chocolate pistachio tart which was out of this world. We also were immensely impressed with the service. They treated us like royalty for our anniversary and we will definitely be back!!

An absolute gem for cocktail and seafood lovers! The cocktails are outstanding — creative, beautifully balanced, and featuring some really interesting flavor combinations you don’t find just anywhere. The clear ice alone deserves a mention — it’s like a piece of art in every glass, elevating the whole experience. The raw seafood selection is equally impressive — fresh, clean, and thoughtfully paired with the drinks. Every detail here feels intentional and elevated. Highly recommend for a night out that’s both relaxed and refined!

The only thing good about this restaurant is the view. The service is horrible. We waited 30 minutes to order drinks and no one ever came back to take our order for another round. A new person arrived and they never took his order. They walk around a lot but wasn’t that busy. Lots of empty tables. Happy to pay their high prices if we were able to order. We left. I am a local and bring a lot of people around Won’t be back.

Sirenetta was so good! Super clean spot with really fresh seafood. I had the oysters, octopus, and halibut — everything was delicious. Cocktails were great too. The wait staff was attentive and detailed, and the menu has a lot of tasty options. Definitely recommend, especially for the oysters. I’ll be back! 🦪❤️

Lovely brunch place at Hoboken area. They have indoor and outdoor seats. It was a nice day so we sat outside. The waitress and the staff were very nice and friendly. Guac and chips were very good. flavorful and crispy chips. Steak and eggs were good. Steak came out how I wanted it. Juicy and tender. Waffle was soft and puffy. Actually pretty good. Unsweeten ice tea was basic. I just wish all the portions are a little bigger. I was still craving for food after the meal. Overall a solid spot for brunch tho.

This is elegant restaurant, beautiful inside with a nice har as well as street side outdoor seating. We went there around Sunday noon and got a table right away. We started with avocado with chips that was absolutely delicious. For entree I got the chicken and biscuits. Unfortunately the chicken and the biscuits both tasted average. I had a much higher expectation for the quality and taste of the chicken. Our server was really friendly. She did a nice job. But they needed about 35 minutes to serve our main course. We utilized the extra waiting time to roam around the restaurant and the neighborhood street.

I hosted my bridal shower at Olivia’s yesterday and it was absolutely perfect. Firstly, Ilysa was so helpful in ensuring every question I had was answered, and was super responsive and beyond incredible. The staff was warm, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The space itself is stunning,bright, welcoming, and ideal for an intimate event. The food was delicious and every guest left raving about it. Olivia’s created such a special, stress free experience for me and my guests. Highly recommend for anyone planning a shower, brunch, or celebration!

I was invited to a birthday party at Olivia’s, and the experience was so wonderful, I felt inspired to write a review. First of all the drinks were some of the most delicious I’ve ever had, and the food was delicious. Everyone at our table kept talking about how much they loved it! The ambiance is warm and elegant, with a design that clearly reflects a great sense of taste. And then… the live jazz started. It felt like an unexpected gift. We all love jazz, but the moment the singer began, we were captivated completely in love with her voice. It’s the kind of voice that feels like a hug… warm, soulful, and special. She even came over to our table graciously asking if the sound was good and if we could still chat comfortably. Her kind personality added even more to the experience. The service was attentive and welcoming, Thank you, Olivia’s, for a heartwarming evening.

Great date night and nicer dinner spot. Good lighting and good cocktails. Fan of their drink menu as well. Bathroom allows you to write chalk on the wall which is fun. Got the duck and highly recommend. The gluten free pasta is very good too

Just came back for dinner after not having been in awhile and the food is all still great. Ordered too much, but had the stuffed figs, steak tacos, and split the spicy rigatoni for starters. All of the food was excellent. Pasta is not a typical “trendy” spicy rig which I appreciated; it’s a pink sauce with sausage, cherry peppers, mushrooms, mozz pearls…very good. Both our mains very good as well, wife got the split chicken and I had the pork chop, two proteins that could easily be overcooked and neither were dry. Drinks were decent, with the espresso martini being the standout - the best in Hoboken imo. Place is pretty pricey, $35 pasta pricey, but it’s all very good so you get what you pay for I guess?

3 of us dined here for dinner. Service: inconsistent…waiter was friendly but ordering our drinks and dishes created some confusion for him. And lady who brought our drinks over got confused also. Overall it felt like a new restaurant still working out its kinks. Food: way overpriced for what you get. Happy hour prices are more appropriate for the quality. Food tasted OK…wasn’t bad but also didn’t have us itching to come back.

Legendary Hoboken pizzeria with a quality giant slice. Don't sleep on the pasta and chicken dishes either. The pesto rigatoni with grilled chicken was amazing. Chicken Marsala decent. Server screwed up our order a few times but you're not there for the service.

Absolutely outstanding! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and treated us like family. The pizza was perfect—crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, with the freshest toppings. You can really taste the quality ingredients and the care they put into every pie. We also tried a few sides, and everything was just as delicious. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it just as great for a casual night out as it is for take-out at home. Hands down one of the best pizza spots around—I’ll definitely be coming back regularly. Highly recommend

What a Disappointment… this place has lost its consistency.. I took 7 adults into the restaurant. We ordered the 32” pie… we got 27 inches maybe??? And NO SAUCE OR CHEESE… BARELY ON IT… instead of going to the counter and ordering the 8 slices from the display, we went for the whole pie order and we were shorted about what o would estimate is about 15”x2 Area worth of dough and cheese… and even then, the amount put on was NILL… I approached the pizza maker kindly and pointed this out with pictures I have with my kids from previous visits and showed them the leftover slice from our pie at the counter and it was MORE THAN OBVIOUS TO THEM THAT THE SLICE PIE BEING SERVED AL A CART to customers was actually on point and what we got was SHORTED CRUST!!! They shrugged their shoulders and when I called up to ask to speak to a manager afterwards at around 10pm on April, 17th, 2025, the person who answered the phone claimed at first they were the manager and when I explained what happened, they told me that there are many other pizza places in Hoboken, and basically hung up!!! I called back, and insisted to speak to the person who hung up and asked them to explain why they would refuse to resolve issue, I told them I will bring back the slice and they could measure it and DO THE RIGHT THING… been going there for decades, we are talking about FLOUR, SAUCE AND CHEESE… we ordered two mozzarella stick orders and 4 bottles of water(at an enormous inflated price) and 2 sodas…. Gave waitress a Fair tip and the individuals I spoke to could care less about the brand name and the quality control and HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PEOPLE SKILLS AND TREATED MY INPUT LIKE A JOKE… 100’s of slice I’ve bought and this is the crap I have to experience… MANAGER… I need to have a conversation with you please… Update 4/18/25 Spoke to a guy named Eddy… did the right thing, offered me a $25 dollar gift certificate… Came in @6pm to resolve issue, SAME DUDE WHO IS MAKING THE HOUSE SLICES AT 6pm on a GOOD FRIDAY/EASTER WEEKEND, is the DUDE THAT IS GIVING YOU GUYS A TERRIBLE NAME AND RUINING THE BRAND WITH SAUCELESS AND CHEESLESS PIECE OF TRIANGULAR-TOAST!!! Update: 4/23/25 I went back to claim the offer…I had to wait until the earlier part of the week to avoid the original pizza guy that looked at me like I was crazy for my willingness to point out the poor quality… anyway… 3 of the 5 slices I was given as complimentary almost made the SIZE QUOTA … they measured 15-15.5 inches which is almost 32” across/diameter… but the other 2 were still measuring at around 13-13.5… which is only about 27” inches in diameter, cut from the same pie… so i’ll split the difference and basically call this a 29” pie… still 3” short and that is A LOT OF LOST PIZZA AREA… the sauce and cheese was much better on these A La Cart slices, however, I’ve had cheesier and saucier pizza 🍕 before… at least it wasn’t like eating large pieces of toast… glad the restaurant honored my complaint… but the general public is getting ROBBED by these inconsistencies.. I make my own pizza dough at home, the cost is VERY INEXPENSIVE !! and the MARK UP prices that this place charges are RIDICULOUS… so AT LEAST BENNY TUDINOS SHOULD HONOR THE SIZE THEY CLAIM TO SELL… and $12.50 for a half a package of pepperoni slices at the cost of $3.50 a bag, maybe $4.50, that topping charge is EXTORTION!!! Many better spots have been popping up all over Hoboken… best get your pizza game in order or FAFO like the 50year baker that closed in December or down the block on like 6/7th and washington, Pizza shop closed and about a year ago another pizza shop closed off of 1st street…. Your slice size is ALL YOU GUYS GOT GOING FOR YA… BE WEARY…. P.S. Oh that’s store bought pepperoni, your slice WILL NEVER LOOK LIKE THIS

Nestled on Washington Street since 1968, Benny Tudino’s proudly bills itself as “Home of the Largest Slice” in Hoboken—and they absolutely deliver on that promise. With individual slices measuring up to 12–14 inches long and wide enough to fill two dinner plates, the size alone is a spectacle worth experiencing. A few call it “drunk pizza”—greasy, floppy, messy in a fun, late‑night kinda way. A thin, crisp, lightly sauced slice. Not haute cuisine, but stripped‑down goodness with a no‑frills, satisfying crunch. Greasy? Yes. Delicious? Often. A must‑try Hoboken icon—where size, nostalgia, and straightforward flavor combine for a pizza experience you’ll talk about (and probably finish) long after the plates are cleared.

The food was great from what we ordered. There could have been more vegetarian appetizers but we had veggie sampler, which was great. We had paneer kadai and dal makhni and I did enjoy the panner more. The dal makhni could have a bit better. The naan was perfect and buttery. Overall, good experience and quality food. The service was pretty good as well, as they made sure we enjoyed our food. The interior of the restaurant was nice as well.

They served us a beer that expired eight months ago!!! I noticed that other customers have also mentioned this issue in their reviews. The staff seems to be aware of it and is intentionally selling expired products, which is absolutely unacceptable! Aside from the beer issue, my overall experience was fine. The staff was very friendly, calm, and accommodating. They were helpful in assisting us with our food choices and answered all our questions. The food was average; some items were better than others, while a few were not as flavorful as I had expected. Portions are quite big and probably ordering one plate for two is more reasonable. Tip was included in the check.

The paneer makhani with garlic naan is my favorite meal of all time! This restaurant is amazing, and I highly recommend to anyone living in or traveling to Hoboken. I have searched high and low for the best paneer dish, and found it right here in Hoboken!

We came to eat in a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Our meal was well presented and delicious, also the kids meal offers a nice combination of meat and veggies with a mango shake included in the price, we were very impressed by this. The service was quick and server was kind. The only thing we did not like is the little surprise we had in the end when we paid our bill. Without previously letting us know, there was a gratuity charge of 15% on our bill. I think they should left it to the discretion of the customers to leave a tip like other restaurants do.

Amazing food, with price and service to match it. The atmosphere is very home-ish, the servers are warm, welcoming, and attentive. I typically don’t indulge in Indian food, but I enjoyed everything I had here from the butter chicken, the chicken malai kebab, the garlic naan, the daal, the rice, all superb! The prices especially for the area are hard to beat, for the same price as a cheesesteak on a hero just next door, come here & you’ll get a full meal. Not to mention the portions are generous, I hadn’t ate all day & I came in(at 10pm) unable to finish even half my meal. Can’t recommend this spot enough if you’re in the area looking for some great food at an unbeatable price.

Karma Kafe never disappoints. The food is bursting with rich, authentic Indian flavors and every bite tastes freshly made and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they use high quality ingredients, and the portion sizes are generous, so you definitely get great value for your money. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a casual dinner or date night. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely welcome. Whether you dine in or take out, the quality is always excellent.

Recently ordered takeout from Karma Kafe with high expectations for some solid Indian cuisine, but unfortunately, the experience was not what we were not expecting. I tried the Mutton Biryani and the Tandoori Pomfret. Both dishes were very underwhelming. The biryani came with raisins and cashew nuts which might appeal to some, but personally it threw off the flavor and wasn’t the vibe we were hoping for. The overall taste was flat and didn’t have the flavors you'd expect from a good biryani. As for the Tandoori Pomfret, I had specifically asked for it to be well done, but it ended up being burnt also had no other flavor or taste but only could taste salt. Fish came with basmati rice which felt under cooked. The char went beyond into bitter taste, which unfortunately made the dish unpleasant. I do say the food was very average at best, and I probably wouldn’t go back based on this experience. Hoping they can fine tune their flavors and quality going forward.

Appetizers started strong. wine was so tasty. wait staff was so full of knowledge and made me feel like a special guest. by the time the main course came out, i was giddy with excitement. everything is perfect. i had brought my friends for a big girls night out. i cannot recommend this place highly enough. life is too short to not treat yourself to the absolute best.

My friend and I ate here after work outside. It was so quiet, clean and overall great vibes. Our waitress was incredible! She was super accommodating and very friendly. Our drinks were great and the food was delicious!! The bread with whatever spread they bring out was honestly the star of the show other than the drinks!! I could just eat the spread. My only complaint is that we added chicken to one of their pasta dishes and it was super expensive for what the dish was. It was still delicious but not worth the price. We will definitely try other stuff on the menu in the future!!

Update: upon going there a second time, the food is still great, I like their presentation. Compared to all the other dishes the Steak was a bit boring perfectly made but it was plated bad. The chocolate parafait was really good, a bit too chocolaty but very delicious. I wanted to go here for a while now. I loved it there. I had cow liver and it tasted awesome. The food was good portion and beautifully served. The staff were polite and friendly and very responsive. Overall I really liked this place.

What a disappointing experience. The meal began well with good appetizers and cocktails, but it quickly went downhill. While the food tasted fine, the portion sizes were incredibly small for the price. The steak frites were mostly fries, with a surprisingly small piece of steak. The burger was equally tiny—I'm not a big eater, and it wasn't enough for me. My best guess is it was no more than four ounces. The fish and chips were also a meager portion. The worst part of the evening was a shocking display of rudeness from our waitress. When serving Parmesan cheese, she instructed my son's friend to "say when." When he paused to finish his sentence, she stopped serving and loudly scolded him, yelling, "EXCUSE ME, I SAID TO SAY WHEN." The tables around us went silent, and everyone stared in horror at the scene. We paid over $300 for a meal that was not only lacking in substance but also came with a side of disrespect. After receiving a recommendation, we were let down on every level. While I understand people have bad days, there is no excuse for yelling at a customer.

We can’t believe it’s taken us so long to try this place! Wow! What a find!! The bar area is great - lots of seating at the bar and high tops near the windows. The restaurant area is also lovely with table cloths and linen napkins. Very extensive wine list with amazing prices! And the FOOD…so much choice and absolutely delicious! I think we’ve found our new favourite place in Hoboken!

Sinatra, Frank Sinatra. This Classy restaurant is all about Frank Sinatra, and a really cozy atmosphere. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs with a Caesar salad and it was not only delicious, but the meatballs were perfect! To celebrate my first visit I ordered some Jack Daniel's Select and the bartender Linda was a delight behind the bar and made my visit even better. I would highly recommend a visit here, especially if you're a fan of Old Blue Eyes because after all he used to eat here and his stool sits above the bar.

This restaurant was a great find! It’s all about Sinatra — nicely decorated with a fun, classic atmosphere that really adds to the experience. The service is friendly and attentive, which makes you feel welcome right away. I went there with my husband and a friend. We ordered the Manhattan chowder, pasta fagioli, mussels in marinara sauce, cheese ravioli, and tri-color gnocchi — everything was delicious! I’ll definitely be back, though next time I’ll probably order a bit less so I can leave some room for dessert — the selection of Italian desserts looked amazing!

A Hoboken staple. Great bar, great staff, great food. Always leave full and very satisfied. The short rib special feels like I'm eating it for the first time every time I get it. The veal parm, francese, and saltimboca are perfect examples of each dish. The chicken marsala too!

Time stands still in this charming, old school restaurant. Strangely I was the only person having lunch on a Wednesday. Hence got full attention from the polite staff. Planned for a soup and a main course. But the quantity of soup was so much that had to skip the baked ziti.

Amazing! Walked a little further from my normal hotel and it was well worth it, even in super hot humid heat! Had the Wednesday three meet lasagna special and it didn't disappoint. Only problem was it was so much food I couldn't sample more. I will definitely be back!

Excellent food, flavor of italy. White or Red sauce both brilliant, i love their shrimp pasta. Cooked to perfection. Love their outdoor seating arrangements. Even though its packed, orders are on time and deliciously hot ... Went for my anniversary dinner and it was amazing. I have been there many time food quality never changes. Keep it up Margharita's. MY NEW OBSESSION? Ok, so listen Linda. I was seriously craving pasta this evening, and wanted to have some delivered. I looked through the delivery apps for pasta and came across Margherita’s. They had great reviews, and the menu caught my eye right away. The main thing that stuck out to me, as in, had me salivating, was their spicy lobster pasta, made with vodka sauce and capers?! Excuse me?! Now, this was under their weekly specials, so my heart would be ABSOLUTELY BROKEN if I can’t get this regularly :-( so hopefully, it becomes a regular menu item. Anyway, I ordered the spicy lobster pasta, and it was en route. So, let me start with the minor cons (again, minor). They didn’t send any napkins or plasticware. Perhaps you’re supposed to request it through the app, by I didn’t see the option. The second con is, it doesn’t come with a side of Parmesan cheese. It’s an extra $2 if you want a side of Parmesan, but i think it should come with it, and I only say that because Parmesan cheese is always a part of the Italian restaurant experience. You order your pasta, it’s served, your waiter offers you freshly grated Parmesan and freshly cracked pepper. My final, very minor con is, I wish my pasta was a bit more al dente. Even though it was angel hair pasta, I still love a good bite. Now, having said that, let’s get into the pros, which made me look past everything! First off, the dish is beautiful! I mean, you eat with your eyes first, no? Right. It just looked so pretty. The pasta, the beautifully done vodka sauce, the capers, the angel hair pasta, the chunks of lobster, I mean it all just made me so happy from the looks alone. Now, along with a dish looking good, we need it to taste good too, no? Right. So, I get my first fork-full. It’s still nice and hot and I taste that vodka sauce……girl, that was some of thee best vodka sauce I’ve had. It tasted like LOVE, you understand me? Just, perfection. It had a nice little spice to it, you got a lovely, salty burst from those capers, the angel hair was a great choice for this dish because it’s so thin and pairs nicely with pretty much anything. The yummy, meaty chunks of lobster were heaven-sent! Just, delectable! I was in love right away. I told myself that I’d be eating here regularly, and need to go in person. This dish was just divine all around. It also came with bread that soaks up that vodka sauce, beautifully! Omg, I’ve been missin’ out! I will be ordering from here again, and you should too! I look forward to trying more menu items, and going in person! I’m OBSESSED!

Food was divine. The crust is doughy but not too thick or light, it’s just right. It was just the right amount of spicy and sweet. Service was friendly and swift, we got our pizzas fairly quick. If you’re super hungry, one whole pie is ideal. We sat outside, it was breezy and comfortable. A bit loud due to being close to the speaker. The meals come with bread and butter before the main entrees.

I called several days ahead to confirm if the restaurant could accommodate a group of nine on a Friday. The person I spoke with assured me they could, but mentioned there might be a wait. When we arrived at a reasonable time on Friday, the hostess initially said they couldn’t seat nine. I explained that I had called and was told it was possible. She then said the wait could be up to an hour, which I was fine with since I expected that. After speaking with her manager, she came back and told us they couldn’t accommodate nine at all. Bottom line: if you’re planning a dinner for a larger group, don’t take their word—they may not be able to follow through.

Brought our family here who are from out of town to try what used to be our favorite pizza spot. We waited over 90 minutes for our margherita pizza to come out and then another 15 minutes for the pictured pizza to come out. The peppers were freezing cold and clearly placed on top of the pie after it was already cooked. Not sure if they forgot them and then decided to add them on? But when we asked they said they always put the peppers directly from the fridge on top of the pizza. This was never the case before as they were always cooked with the pizza/under the cheese. Anyway, service was horrible on top of the cold pepper pizza. Flavor is there though.

Most of the reviews are true, really wanted to like this place but it was hindered by the lack of good service. For context, my wife and I came around 730pm on a Saturday night. There was a 30 minute wait for indoor dining, and no wait for outdoor, so we chose the latter. We sat there for about 10 minutes before I had to reach out to someone to take our order. We had the classic square pie (half pepperoni half olives), the naked meatballs and bottled water because for some reason they dont serve tap which is ridiculous. The naked meatballs came out right away but they were subpar. It tasted dry and old and i can say with confidence i have definitely made better meatballs. The pizza however, took nearly 40 minutes for it to be served to us. It was definitely fresh and well done. I enjoyed the pizza but definitely had better. The workers were friendly but the restaurant itself seems unorganized and overwhelmed with dine in customers as well as customers who are there for pickup. Proceed with caution.

This little pizza joint serves up some truly fantastic thin crust pizza—crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. If you’re just here for the pie, you might walk away satisfied and happy. But the moment you try to order a drink? Welcome to the twilight zone. They refuse to give you a simple glass of tap water, which in 2025 is pretty wild. Instead, you’re nudged toward overpriced canned sodas—and here’s the kicker: they charge different prices based on the flavor, even though no matter what you pick, they just bring out the same generic can you’d find at a bodega for a buck. It feels like someone drew a line in the sand over the most arbitrary things. You can tell the place is proud of their food (and they should be!), but the pricing strategy for drinks and the refusal to offer basics like tap water really sours the experience. Come for the pizza, but maybe bring your own drink.

Not our first time to tenth street but won’t be returning due to service. Ordered 2 items and waited 55 min between our appetizer and classic pizza. The table next to us arrived after us and ate all 3 dishes before we received our pie. We inquired twice about our food from multiple wait staff because we received no follow up or recognition. Had anyone provided understanding or empathy, our sentiments and desire to return would be absolutely different. Silverware would have also been helpful.

What people say about the wait is true. We had to wait 15mins for our table which was fine but our pizza took about 50mins which was not ideal when you see the restaurant churning out pickup and takeout orders yet peoples tables are sitting empty. That said when the pizza did arrive it did look delicious. We went for the Classic with half Sausage/Pepperoni and half Pesto. Solid 8/10 pizza.

The food was not that great. The pasta lacked flavour and the burrata was simple but good. The pizza had great crust but the sauce was a little bland. The service was great though and ambience was also good.

The pizza was fantastic. The service was awful. RUDE servers....attitude of just "eat and get out." Plenty of seating after we finished eating, but was told that "other customers were coming in" and we had to leave. No complimentary water, BYOB (not a problem) restaurant is too dark (everyone using their phone lighting to see the menu and bill) and too LOUD of a restaurant. I guess this place works for takeout, but the attitude of the staff is horrible. Not worth my hard earned money to go back. Would not recommend.

The food and drinks were excellent overall. Service was pretty good. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. The only small gripe I have is that they forgot to bring our leftovers after dessert and the check. Watch out for that staircase, especially if you are drinking. We saw a few folks take a stumble.

Booked a reservation on their website since they don't answer the phone and they don't work with opentable. I parked at a garage (320 Clinton Street for your GPS) which was $7 for about 2 hours. It was a block away. It is all street parking in the area. The restaurant is nicely decorated but pretty tight. I'd definitely recommend a reservation because a few people came in and left because the restaurant was packed. Food was decent (but a little too rich for me) and service was very good. It was a little pricey but the ingredients were interesting. I had the short ribs and quinoa. I loved the salsa music in the background. Just the right volume!

This place supposedly has a James Beard winner but the service doesn't show it. Show for a 5:30 reservation and the wood oven isn't 'working properly.' That's half of their menu gone. Sorry but if half your menu isn't available DO NOT OPEN. Or if you know your equipment is on the fritz rent equipment for the weekend. This was Friday for f@#k sake. A busy day and you were not ready for service. The pisco sour was okay. The baocadito was food but no revelation. The patatas choreados...was bland. Sorry but I expected better.

Grimaldi’s is known as a staple when it comes to authentic Italian pizza, so naturally, I had high expectations. I ordered a vodka sauce pie with ricotta cheese—good, but honestly not anything to brag about. My kids weren’t too crazy about it either. That said, we have enjoyed their locations in Long Island and of course, Brooklyn. This particular visit just didn’t hit the same.

Despite less than stellar service, during a time of day where there was only one other customer, I’m giving this place five stars because the pizza is just that good. The crust was perfectly crunchy and chewy, the under crust was the same.perfectly foldable pizza with a nice flop, just like Naples intended it. Pie was loaded with toppings. I’m glad I only went for the 10” or I’d be rolling out the door and down the street. Service was just okay. Walked in and no one greeted me until I was practically at the back of the restaurant. My server took my order promptly, but ignored me for the most part after my food arrived. They passed me five times with an empty glass sitting in front of me until I was forced to flag them down (something I hate doing). Again, there was only one other couple in the restaurant at the time. Long review short, amazing pizza, okay service.

Stopped by for lunch recently and came away very happy. The total experience was awesome! Started with a Caesar salad, which was very fresh and properly dressed. The pizza was fantastic. Chewy and crispy with a lovely char from the brick oven. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Not salty. I appreciate that they have a 10" individual-size pizza available, which is perfect for lunch. This is many steps above your regular corner pizza place. The waitstaff was excellent as well. My waiter was friendly, attentive, and efficient with a real understanding of the menu options. The restaurant decor is an interesting blend of the new with the older Grimaldi's heritage. I didn't have a cocktail, but the bar looked very enticing. I will definitely be back because there is so much more on the menu I want to try.

My husband and ai were exploring the area a bit and passing through. Everyone here was really nice! Pizza and mozzarella cakes were so good 🥰❤️ Kudos to the nice waiter! He said it was his first day! He did really good!!

This is the cleanest pizza joint I have ever been in. Although we were the only ones inside it took service a minute to arrive to our table. The pizza sauce was good, but needed a little more salt, the pizza itself could have been cooked a little konger for the crust.

This place has always been famous for its authentic delicious pizza and other dishes. Noticed greatly improved, efficient and welcoming customer service. Proud to see students of Stevens University as a pert of the staff working hard but with smile and curtsey. That day was Hoboken Fall Festival Day celebration on the Washington Street and was glad to see Grimaldi's staff appreciating First Responders for their hard work and services to make the event safe and enjoyable for the community.

Tough choice between Napoli’s & Grimaldis … this place def has the best sauce and best crust. They always bring me extra sauce with the Margherita pie. Absolutely delicious, we love this place and come here often. Good prices, too. House salad is also yummy.

I've been going The Madison for years and it is a solid restaurant and bar. I recently went on Sunday night, didn't feel like cooking at home. It was quiet, no sports on. We sat at the bar, ordered some drinks. I got a glass of Josh cabernet sauvignon and my husband got a Kane. They have a wide range of beers on draft, wines and great cocktails. I was happy to see macaroni and cheese back on the menu, it was one of the best in my opinion. But we ordered the steak bao buns to start, there were two and they were very yummy. I was sad to see the lobster roll taken off the menu but they had a lobster grilled cheese special so I ordered that. My husband got the crab cake sandwich. And we both ordered regular fries although we had the option of regular fries, sweet potato fries, salad or I think broccoli. His crab cake was big and he liked it. Mine was so so. I think the combo of lobster and cheddar just didn't work. The cheese was too overpowering. There were big hunks of lobster, yum 🦞 . I think they should stick to the original lobster roll. Why mess with perfection. Anyways got another glass of wine and called it a night. Watch out if you go during the week it does get busy and loud, many nights they have a DJ. Which I like but others in your party may not. But they do have ample outdoor seating so when it warms up it's great.

Omg I absolutely love this place 10/10! The staff was accommodating with our order and seating arrangements. Marie, our server was also an absolute sweetheart! Not only was she pleasant but super attentive and extremely helpful when it came to providing us with recommendations! The aesthetics inside were also super cute. The truffle fries are a must get, my soul was touched with the first bite lol They were even able to customize a salad for me because I couldn’t decide between the two. I will definitely be coming back!

A huge fan of this bar. Live around the corner and attend frequently. Great food, great bartenders, but was very upset recently to walk in and see the high tops were gone. Feels like the entire atmosphere of the bar is completely evaporated. Not sure why I would give 3 stars to the staff or where you got that I said the food sucks..? Both the staff and food are great. So you just completely made up lol.... Yes, the atmosphere has changed.... for the worse. I have spoke with multiple regulars that have agreed with me. So to say I think about myself much is an insane comment. You clearly cannot take constructive criticism well. Come football season this bar will lose loyal customers.

At 3:30 I called the Madison with an urgent need to host a party of 50 people at 7:00. Lexie and Brianna were kind, accommodating, and extremely professional. Jake, mica, and Sophia worked their butts off and were amazing servers for our last minute party. I can’t recommend this place and the staff enough!!!

Got a reservation for 9 people at a one hour notice on a Sunday afternoon, spacious place, nice staff. Got a vegan burger, Mac n cheese bombs, brussel sprouts (comes mixed with bacon) and creme brulee french toast. Everything tasted great, the portion sizes are good. The cheese bombs and the toast were especially good. Good place for good food, large parties, reasonable price.

Came here on a Friday night and there were seats available outside for me, my husband, and my 1 year old son. Service was quick. The food was hot and delicious. Hubby did say the pizza was OK but the buffalo wings were the best! I ordered the chicken Raphael to share with my son and we both loved it. The frose is strong but good! I love this place! The staff is so friendly and the food/drinks are really good! We got the bar pie, caesar salad, and chicken panini and loved it all. The portions are a good size. We sat inside, but there is also a cute outside seating area. Definitely recommend this place!

This place I’ve been coming to since me and my fiancée seen it next to Maroon Creamery and I can say that those two places have never disappointed us. The pizza taste is fresh and authentic, the staff is always organized, and they all have a great attitude. The creative pizzas they have are exceptional and I know they will definitely become one of the big staples of Hoboken that will always have a line and no single slices after 6pm. GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN !!

I went to Napoli Pizza for dining and we tried their ravioli dish along with a small pizza. The raviolis were delicious, perfectly cooked with a rich filling and flavorful sauce. The small pizza was generous in size easily enough for 2 to 3 people and had that fresh, authentic taste you’d expect from a good Italian spot. The atmosphere was inviting, with soft music at just the right volume so you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling overwhelmed. Inside seating is cozy with nice decorations, while the outdoor seating gives you the option to enjoy Hoboken’s lively vibe on a nice day. The staff were very friendly and attentive, checking in often without ever rushing us. We had a great time dining here and enjoyed both the food and the overall experience. Definitely a great place in Hoboken if you’re craving Italian food with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We even took some pizza home for late snack.

Wood fire pizza at its finest we sampled a plain & pepperoni pie that were so fantastic. We were all fighting over the last slice! I’ve been here quite a few times, but it was my first time trying the pizza and it is definitely as good as the pasta.!

Honestly just a really good pizza! Grabbed a pepperoni Sicilian slice and a meatball parm slice which were both amazing! The staff was very standoffish, felt like I was a bother to be there to be frank.

I’m a huge fan of Pesto, so I Tried Napoli’s pesto penne pasta. It was excellent. I added grilled chicken but it didn’t need it at all. I will be coming back soon. Thanks guys

The poor reviews on here about drivers have no reflection on the quality of food! We’ve been coming here weekly for 2 years and always receive good service, even when they’re busy on weekends and they’re ALWAYS packed on weekends. You still don’t need to wait long for a seat. Best pizza I’ve had in the NJ/NY area. House salad is delicious, too. Also love the penne a la vodka. BYOB is huge plus. We love you, Napoli’s!

So, no shade to anyone but….there’s Subway, and then there’s Vito’s. I had to stop eating at Subway sometime ago. The quality drastically reduced and it just didn’t hit the same for me. Last summer, a friend and I came across Vito’s. We were craving a good hero/cold cut and checked out some of the reviews and saw that they were good, so went inside. We ordered turkey heroes and they were EXCEPTIONAL. Now I know some may think that it isn’t hard to make or find a good turkey cold cut, but trust me, it IS, and I’ve had many bad turkey cold cuts. It’s quite disappointing. What really makes a bad turkey cold cut bad, is, well, the turkey lol. You can taste when it isn’t quality turkey, when it’s processed, etc. It just doesn’t taste the same. When tasting these turkey cold cuts from Vito’s, the bread was amazing, the turkey was amazing, it was fresh and filling! It was also good service. The staff took our sandwich orders and nailed them! I went back last week for another turkey cold cut and it was also more than exceptional. So simple, yet exceptional. Thank you for quality heroes, Vito’s. I need to go back to try some of their pastas and sauces because everything is simply made and authentic. I will absolutely be back. Also, they have a happy hour, everyone! I forget the pricing and details but it’s great! Go check’em out!

As many of us, I googled options of sandwiches in Hoboken and I got This place. As I can saw they have history and a reputation, and I had to try one of their famous hero’s. My today’s choice was the Italian Cuban sandwich. The ingredients are really good. In this case I can tell that quantity reflects quality👌🏻. The pork has good taste, not too salty and I’m combination with the mozzarella was really a party in my mouth ❤️ 10/10. The service was good, the guy that helped me with my sandwich was very nice and polite( my mistake I didn’t ask his name for refer him) But there was another guy (a tall and fatty one) that completely ignore me and that was not nice. But I let it pass because the sandwich worth it.

I moved here from Texas. I been looking for a good hoagie/sub/sandwich and I found it. If you happen to stop on in. They're not good. They are great. And great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. I even got to meet the owner and shook his hand. People are definitely friendly there. And for the price you get a lot of food. I will definitely be back.

I wanted to try their roast beef and mutz! I know, I know, there is another place in Hoboken that does that sandwich very well. But it was a Wednesday 🤷🏻‍♂️. The roast beef tasted a bit dry and the bread wasn't that great.

I came in on a run during work, got a salami and mutz and I gotta say it’s single handedly the best sandwich I’ve ever had 😩 the service was friendly, guy took my order right away! Everything is so fresh.. it’s worth the price! Trust! Fresh mozzarella is a game changer 😍 would love to come back lol should’ve gotten some pasta to go home with !

Sandwiches are 100/10…and I’m saying this as someone who grew up in Brooklyn! Their hero’s are fantastic but their breakfast sandwiches are out of this world - the prosciutto, egg and tomato/cheese is perfectly salty, melty, crispy, savory…yummy! Also- the folks behind the counter saw me eyeing the cannolis and surprised me with one! Thank you!!!

so I called in from Somerset county asking for a special lunch plate and they accommodated me. not only will I be going back every Saturday, my son and I have decided to make this our new special place. HOBOKEN: City Bistro Restaurant Lounge Bar is the perfect uptown spot to dine, sip, people-watch, and best of all, leashed and friendly pups are welcome at their outdoor seating! The patio has plenty of charm, with a canopy and string lights overhead, flower boxes adding pops of color, and tables to settle in with elevated American fare and carefully crafted cocktails. We loved that we could still soak up the indoor vibe while sitting near the open doors, plus we even had a view of the game on TV. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure we felt right at home from start to finish.

Service was cool, the food was delicious, the music wasn't really for us but not a deal breaker. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich. We ate on the rooftop which was a bit smaller than I thought but it was still very nice. My husband got beef tacos for an appetizer and they were so good! I say that because I normally don't care for steak tacos but they thin sliced the steak which was golden!

I really wanted to like this place — the menu looked promising, with a good variety of burgers and pizza. But unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The food took a while, and when it finally arrived, I found a hair in my meal. Accidents happen, but it definitely ruined my appetite. The staff was polite when I brought it up, but there wasn’t much effort to make it right beyond a quick apology. Atmosphere is nice and the menu has potential, but hygiene and attention to detail need serious improvement. Probably won’t be returning anytime soon.

I went to the City Bistro for a Mothers Day brunch and I was gonna be late due to traffic. They were very accommodating and the service here was top notch. I got the huevos rancheros which weren’t great. But the wings were excellent and so were the drinks. They have a roof top but it was closed for brunch. The prices are reasonable and overall I had a good experience.

Amazing food and great service. Been here few times and each time we like this place. They have great drinks and their cucumber margarita is the best! Their crispy French toast and pancakes are amazing! It has a good chilled vibes, servers are friendly. Good place for gatherings and Sunday brunch.

I absolutely love this place. This is a great place for a first date, girls night out, or just somewhere to go after work for some drinks. I have eaten here multiple times and every time the food has been amazing. The salmon dish is to die for. My fiancé had the pasta which was also delicious. We would definitely return again and Again.

Seriously awesome brunch/lounge/Dinner spot.. I love the food and cocktails 🍹 Menu.. it’s a perfect spot in summers and also winters.. they have beautiful and classy holiday decor.. I would highly recommend the dirty chai (10/10) and mushroom flatbread !! Loved the veggie burgers too..

Absolutely delicious cheese pizza and meatball special. Was also lucky enough to get a free doughnut sample at the end of my dinner. The pizza dough was fluffy and had a nice chew while having a crisp exterior. I could taste the quality ingredients that were used in each bite. Will be back to try more pizzas and whatever specials are on the menu.

Fantastic Roman style pizza! We had the supplì (Roman rice balls) appetizer and fresh ricotta with honey, as well as 2 pizza. Did not disappoint! Specials change daily it looks like. Atmosphere is casual family friendly. Looks like a great place to have an event in the back.

The most authentic experience to Italy you can get. Reminds me of my favorite pizzeria in Italy. Get the Caesar salad too — it’s the best!

When I went to pickup my order, the server immediately coughed on his hand then touched my takeout order. I ordered an item (meatballs) that needed utensils, and they had no takeout utensils. Also, the pizza wasn’t even sliced, I was shocked. Never been to a pizza place that didn’t at least cut the pizza into slices. And there was also a human hair in my pizza box. The food itself wasn’t impressive either. It cost altogether over $30. Just an embarrassment.

Very underwhemling experience when it came to the food, pizza quality seems to have really dropped after Covid. Use to be our go to spot pre and during covid, had it for the first time since then and were very disappointed. Service was great, they were very friendly and accommodating.

Nice little spot with good pizza and quick service, also BYOB. The “honey” and “spicy pepperoni” pizza stood out among all ordered (“la pizza” pictured) and all had a fluffy chewy crust. Many had basil listed as an ingredient and no basil to be seen; would have helped complete the package on some of the pies (BYOBasil?). Sauce is somewhat bitter and overall the flavors fell somewhat flat. Worth a try, could easily be someone’s favorite with a slightly different taste preference.

The thin fried chicken cutlets are absolutely delicious. I got the chicken cutlet, roasted pepper, fresh mozzarella on a hero with Balsamic Vinegar. If you haven’t had the sandwiches from this place, then you definitely must try. Top spot in Hoboken The owners are so sweet!!

M & P Biancamano popped up when I was looking for an Italian 🇮🇹 deli near me. Within walking distance from Hamilton Cove Apt complex… went over and got the chicken parmigiana w/ spaghetti and prosciutto w/ mozzarella and hot peppers. One of the best chicken parms and prosciutto mozzarella subs that I’ve had in a while. I am glad that it is close to home… great food. The owners are very friendly and helpful.!! The best fresh mozzarella I’ve ever had, anywhere - Italy included. Amazing sandwhiches and Italian deli items. Beyond that, this place is run by an adorable married couple who are incredibly kind people. It doesn’t get more authentic. This is one of my favorite places to visit when I’m back in Hoboken.

Everything about this place is great. They have high quality deli meats that are loaded up into huge sandwiches that are prepared with care. Everyone is so fun and friendly here and you end up getting enough food for at least two meals out of one sandwich. They have a good selection of drinks and snacks to pair with your meal. They are cash-only, but there is an ATM in the store. This is my new favorite deli.

Stumbled upon this place on a walk and i’m so happy that i did. It’s a classic mom and pop shop and the owners are great. I originally wanted a whole meatball mozzarella sub and they asked if i was sure since it’s 2 Hoagies. A half was more than enough for both me and my girlfriend. The Mutz was fantastic and the meatballs were just as good. Definitely will be visiting often to try the chicken parm.

I stopped here for lunch one day on the recommendation of someone else. It's not much to look at from outside or inside either but there's a huge selection of reasonably priced foods available, together with hot & cold drinks. Outside there are three sets of tables and chairs on the pavement. There's no obvious setting indoors, so it appears to be aimed at the take away market. Lots of people were popping in for take aways whilst I was there. I opted for a cream cheese bagel and hot hazelnut coffee. Both hit the spot and the price was super cheap for the US 👍🏻. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Hoboken. Thank you.

Food is fresh and served quickly for all commuters to snatch a delicious bite while still catchig their trains😋 Tons of options, so strongly recommend you check the menu first and go in. Although, they have a great pick up/delivery system set up which makes things easier for all busy people. Best part is... albeit the limited space inside - they have a big kitchen in the back for all the food they need to make - the outdoor seating is brilliant. I was able to happily enjoy my turkey egg and cheese in a spinach wrap 😋

I went today to grab my breakfast sandwich, and like usual, I was disappointed once again. To have the balls to charge $15 for a bagel with a half centimeter of lox and a bagel with a drop of butter is a slap in the face. Every time I come into this bagel joint and grab a sandwich, they literally give me a sandwich with no contents. I’ve never seen a business be so goddamn stingy. Whether it’s a fourth of an egg or one strip of bacon, these people always serve up half-assed food. Like, this is just crazy to me. The food is not nearly good enough to be pulling this bullshit!

Ordered Everything Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese and was very disappointed with the amount of spread in the bagel. Felt like just eating bread without tasting enough cream cheese.

45 minutes to make 2 egg and cheese bagels is crazy… Not even that busy, regular crowd with a lot of employees. Edit : they didn’t put the hashbrown and look at the tiny piece of egg on one half. I waited an hour total for the wrong order, with like 2 bites of egg

I found myself a bit disappointed mostly because of the price of the bagel sandwich, but a little because of the quality as well. I ordered the "Bee Sting" and felt that the bagel was not super soft or fresh. As for the price, I paid a little over 14 dollars for the single sandwich and a water. It's just too much to pay for a single bagel sandwich. I can get two of the same bagel sandwiches for the same price elsewhere and it would be a much higher quality. Also wish there was at least outdoor seating given the place is doing a renovation inside.

Mediocre bagel, but nice service and well-used but small space. The bagel texture was fine, but the taste wasn’t great — bland. The toppings were sliced very thick which means everything slid apart easily when you were trying to eat it. The staff were friendly and the service was relatively efficient. Average price-wise for a lox bagel. The tater tots looked great and the breakfast burrito looked really appealing — would recommend that over the bagel. This is a takeout spot only.

Amazing bagels, my favorites, good size and the flavor is traditional delicious. Also they have seasonal flavors. The bagel itself whort the calories. Is fast and they follow your instructions about ingredients. I like that they are fresh delicious bagels and not huge. We only has a bad experience when orde through a delivery app but they sent again the order, even when nobody knew who made the mistake, they took responsibility. Love this place.

Their quality has gone down since they renovated whatever it is they ended up renovating. Their ingredients are worse and they don’t care to pay attention to details. I mean come on…look how they cut my bagel

Been coming here for ~5 years now. Still good for certain things but the quality has continued to go down while prices only go up. Sandwiches are just really inconsistent across the board both on the breakfast and lunch side. Would expect consistency in sandwiches since thats what they’re geared towards; not a big selection of bagel flavors or cream cheeses, which is fine if the quality and build of the sandwiches are on point. Hope it course corrects because it used to be one of my favorites

The very popular O'Bagel. I was finally in the area after 7am and got a chance to stop at O'Bagel. Walking in the place, I completely passed by where I'm suppose to order. I guess no one was there when I walked in. The place gets crowded and the place is dimly lit. So unfortunately for me, I would have came when there was no one on the line. By the time I realized that I passed where I was suppose to order at, there were now 2 people on line. Not a big deal. The area I originally walked to was the pick up area where 3 men were standing and that's what made me feel that that was thee order line. Now at the correct location which is the register as soon as you walk in the door, smh, I was ready to order. The lady at the register was very pleasant and nice. She punched my order into a computer and accepted payment for my meals. I ordered some potato tots, several different types of bagels and a few sandwiches. After all this was my first time in thee establishment and I like to try a little bit of everything. They have a very small variety of drinks, none of them being a favorite of mine. I would say that I was in O'Bagel for about 8 minutes until I was called by name to pick up my order. Unfortunately, only a third of my order was ready when I approached the counter. The guy at the pick up station was scrambling to find all of my order. Looks like they write on the foil with a marker to let him know which order each item belongs to. They baged up everything but the drinks. Weird. Maybe I should have asked for a bag but I just grabbed the drinks by hand and left. With 10 minutes left to each and get to my destination, we notice that 2 of the orders were wrong. Not good for a first visit. My orders were not complicated. Nonetheless, no time to return. After all is said and done, I think I will agree with the neighborhood critics. Possibly thee best bagel spot in Hoboken. Fresh and soft bagels. Good system but obviously could have been better. If this place gets crowded and I'm sure it does, it could be crazy. Small space but it's now my go to spot for an early morning breakfast. Good job guys.

This is my boyfriend and I favorite place to have drinks and appetizers. Their martinis are decent, could use a little more olive juice every time but it's good enough. Their appetizers and raw bar are delicious, we love their Blue point oysters and the tuna tartar is to die for. I love the vibes or the bar, this place makes me zen. What else could you ask for.

Came here for my two year anniversary with my partner and we had a wonderful dinner! I had the swordfish with mashed potatoes my partner had the grits and scallops. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned amazingly. I had this delicious blackberry mocktail that worked well with my meal and finally for dessert we spill a pistachio tartufo. I highly recommend this place for a night out or a great date idea!

They had a great selection of oysters all of which were very fresh. We only ordered a dozen but we selected two of each type as we were eating them together as a couple. We sampled less than half of the oysters available. We will be coming back.

I recently visited this cocktail bar in Hoboken (found it on Google and reviews were good) on a Wednesday night. We were there just for drinks, so we only ordered appetizers and didn’t explore the main course. The cocktail selection was nice, but not huge. We tried the Wild Child and Mai Thai, and I particularly enjoyed the Wild Child. For appetizers, we had the burrata and calamari. The burrata was nicely presented, while the calamari was just average. Prices were reasonable, with drinks ranging from $13 to $19 and appetizers from $15 to $20. They offer happy hours, though we missed it this time. The bar has both indoor seating and a patio. We opted for the patio since it was a pleasant evening, but there were available tables both inside and outside. The service was good, with nothing noteworthy to critique. I would definitely come back for happy hours on Sunday.

We had appetizers & cocktails on a Thursday night. They were both great! The portions were large and very tasty! Great service and nice atmosphere! It can get a bit loud inside, but it didn’t bother us!

We went here for the oyster happy hour. The neighborhood is nice and the service was good. We tried all of the oysters available from East coast, there were ten in total. 30% of the oysters we got were not fresh, this is why I only gave it four stars. We also tried the fries, clam spaghetti, and blue crab founder, they were all great.

The food was tasty, had good flavor, cooked appropriately and portion size was perfect. I didn’t really LOVE the Chocolate cake slice, to me, it could be a little richer in flavor. The calamari was also not the best, too small and crumbly and the dipping sauce was okay. We had to make reservations in advance, it seems like the place is always busy. I would definitely go back to try other dishes and drinks.

perfect spot to get all warmed up and satisfied especially during these cold winter days! we started off with their takoyakis and cucumber salad and they definitely worked up our appetites! i thoroughly enjoyed the cucumber salad-perfect dressing and very good crunch! All the ramens we ordered had delicious broth, chewy noodles and savory meat! Portions were perfect too. I appreciate the space and that we were comfy enough to bring our baby's stroller in without feeling so tight. Service was timely and efficient too! overall a very good experience!

Delicious Ramen stop for a no-frills, comforting experience. The Bao buns are fire & their ramen is perfectly slurpy goodness. This should be the stop for your next craving.

Found this ramen place close to our Hoboken AirBnB as it was walking distance. Easy to find and some street parking if you drive in. The restaurant was decent. Plenty of tables and good for groups. There are some outdoor seating as well if it’s crowded or nice outside. My family tried the below: -Miso Ramen - broth was ok, not my favorite. -Tonkotsu Ramen - broth is ok, not my favorite. I guess I like to have a little spiciness in my soup and we didn’t choose the spicy Tonkotsu instead. -Pan-fried Vegetable Gyoza - I thought it was good but my kids said it was ok. -Chicken Katsu Curry Rice plate - my son said it was ok but he didn’t finish it. -Tan Tan Ramen - broth was very good and plenty of ingredients The one thing I don’t like is thin ramen noodles but that’s me. Everyone has their favorites. Sometimes Japanese ramen places like it thin. Service was friendly, attentive and maybe our server was the owner but he was funny.

Love this place. First time visiting. We were a party of 4. For appetizers we ordered the Tempura shrimp buns and the fried chicken bites. The main dishes were all Ramen. I ordered mines with fried chicken 😉, pork, egg and noodles. Forgot to mention that their noodles are done right at the restaurant. Delicious. For dessert we ordered the Strawberry Mochi 😋. The staff was super friendly and with smiles. I am definitely coming back.

This is the best ramen in the area. Consistently amazing every time. My go-to is the Yuzu Shio. Ani also makes great ramen but I think Muteki is #1. Don’t sleep o. The gyoza or cheesecakes either.

I ordered takeout ramen from Muteki Ramen, which can sometimes be tricky, but I was pleasantly surprised. While they only have one vegetarian option, it would be great to see more no-meat choices on the menu. However, the ramen was delicious! The tofu and vegetables were perfectly cooked, the broth was hearty, and the noodles tasted fresh. The service was excellent—ordering was quick, and my food was ready when I arrived. The restaurant always looks clean, which is a definite plus. Overall, I was very satisfied with the food and quality. I highly recommend this place if you're okay with just one vegan option on the menu.

One of the issues I had and have is that I placed an order over $100 and I didn’t get no utensils or a menu so I can re-order again. Secondly, I asked for clams. They said they were out so they gave me muscles without asking me I hate muscles. Other than that the food was OK so no real complaints and they did reimburse me for the clams part. This was from Uber eats

The staff is always super friendly and attentive, the drinks are always perfectly made, and most of their menu is gluten free and vegan. It’s a lowkey, chill kind of vibe with dim lighting and music. The cauliflower bites and potato poutine made vegan are my go-to choices. Never leave here without an espresso martini!

One of my favorite restaurant/bars in the whole tri-state. Incredible service, great vibes & top notch food. HOLY vegan options! Hanger steak was gone before I could even take a photo. A must try if you’re in the area. Clearly a spot the locals frequent.

A group of girlfriends and I decided to try this spot out and I was looking forward to it. When I arrived I had to circle the area a bit and finally found a parking spot. The place was cute and they had indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and it was a closed in area with heaters and filters in each of them and it was a cool idea. Pedro was our waiter and he was good and had a good memory. I ordered the vegan Bodega sandwich which had Just eggs, beyond sausage and violife cheese on a roll and it was pretty good. The girls had different items all around and they liked their meals. For a drink I ordered the vodka tonic which the bartender messed up by putting in seltzer instead. Pedro fixed it himself and it came out good. The bill was reasonable and gratuity was included of 20%. I definitely will be back to try more vegan option meals.

Cool neighborhood bar with great cocktails 🍸 and bunch of locals. The bar food is not so great, at least the portions of the food should be better. They've got pool table and other fun games inside with Sports in the TV. Go there if you want avoid crowd and play billiards 🎱

I enjoyed the bar and watching football game there!! Staff were nice and beer selection was good! The food was just good but very average! With a bit better food, this place can be next level!

I went to Panela with a friend, and while the atmosphere was nice, the experience wasn’t the best. I ordered the ceviche de camarón and the “Mamasota” drink. Unfortunately, the drink didn’t taste that good, and the ceviche had way more corn than shrimp, which was disappointing. To make things worse, the first drink I actually wanted to order couldn’t be made because they were missing the ingredients. Hopefully, they improve on consistency and inventory.

Great Place, call to see if they have live music that day for those who prefer or don't. Definitely recommend beef empanadas and the chicharon platter(chicken). We really enjoyed the aji panca steak and half roasted chicken and the drinks were great too. They had a fast and amazing staff!

Highly recommend! We have been wanting to try Panela but it’s a little bit of a hike for us, but I entered to win their giveaway contest for the 3 course meal with Patron tasting and was one of the lucky winners! So my fiancé and I were like yes we have to go! Our experience was great! The atmosphere, the service, food & drinks was all amazing! We throughly enjoyed the two drinks we each had, and the tequila tasting. The food was also delicious! We are so happy we had the opportunity to try Panela and we cannot wait to go back with friends & family!

Panela was great. We really enjoyed the food and the drink. If you like coffee liquor, they have a drink called "But First, Cafecito", OMG, that drink is extremely good, sweet but 🔥. The food was great as well but I feel that some items were overpriced, but delicious anyways. We had a problem paying with one of the debit cards but we figured out and the manager was sooo nice that she gave us free shots because we were celebrating a friend's Birthday party. After all that we went downstairs and they have this place super cool , were you have to go through this secret door that is a bookshelf, super cool and once inside , there's a whole bar. Very nice place to spend a night. highly recommend it.

Our experience here was amazing! Jessie was our server and she was super attentive and just overall great. The food was super good and the drinks were so good as well, they had so many different options. Will def be coming here again!

I got together with one of my friends for brunch and a dance class. When I arrived I had to circle a couple of times to find parking. Eventually, I found something not too far. I walked in and was greeted by a nice hostess. The restaurant was super cute and they had an area for the dance class. Isabella was our server, and she was nice. The restaurant has bottomless mimosas until 3pm on Sundays and a small brunch menu and a dance class for $55. They have an additional menu for an additional charge. I ordered the chicken chaufa with the mimosa, and they gave a salad as well. In addition, I ordered the seafood macho. My friend ordered the shrimp tostones, and in addition, she got the shrimp tallarin saltado. When the food came out, it looked yummy! We dug in, and the food was very good. I really liked the chaufa the most. To finish, we got some signature cocktails that were great, along with taking the class. It was a good time!

Wonderful place to eat! Their food was delicious and their portions were sized appropriately. Drinks were great and our server was so attentive and friendly. The ambiance was great also - perfect for a date night or a fun girls night!

Food here is delicious and service was great! The waiter was so nice and explained everything very well. The atmosphere is very fun and inviting — only thing is there is some smoke from the open kitchen. The mac and cheese was one of our favorite— will definitely order again!

I love grabbing lunch here, it makes me feel like I’m stepping into a cleaner version of my grandmothers living room. The food is always so good and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. The bread budding is such a good sweet treat! I never feel rushed to leave so I really get the most out of my meal. Also side note I think they are BYOB so if you want a glass of wine or beer with your meal it’s easy to do that!

I’m incredibly heartbroken to even write this, as I was so excited to try this restaurant, especially since I’ve always loved the bar. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of disappointing. It took over 30 minutes just to receive water and coffee, and we watched as other tables who had ordered the same dishes were served 20 minutes ahead of us. Maybe it was a waitstaff issue, but I’m honestly at a loss for words. All of our food came out wrong and took nearly an hour. We ordered French toast (plain which they put berries on but they took back and scraped them off) and avocado toast with egg whites. We were making conversation with the table next to us about how shocking this whole experience was. My boyfriend finished his meal before mine even arrived, and when it did, it was incorrect. I wish I could say I’d give this place another chance, but after this experience, I just don’t think I can.

Overall rating: 4.8 Omg this is so good. Wow. I got the smash burger with fries and everything was so good. I loved the decor of the place- very cute and kitschy. I’m very surprised of the low rating bc that burger was absolutely amazing. I actually thought I didn’t like smash burgers and then I just realized I do! Highly recommend & will def be coming back when I’m in the area.

I was always a fan of Antique Bar and had to give this one a try for lunch- wow I was blown away. I had the birra cheese steak sandwich and was blown away by the flavor and juicy meat. The breakfast burritos was a tasty combo of eggs, potatoes and avocado; only downside is potatoes over powered the sandwich. You can't leave here without trying the Carmel bread pudding. This is HANDS DOWN my favorite dessert in Hoboken 😍 There was caramelized sugar that crusted the outside and warm cinnamon bread in the center.

Just walking past and thought let’s give it a go. Well what a good idea. Half bottle of blush table wine and the best beef empanadas I have EVER eaten! Didn’t realise there was a lovely outdoor area too! Worth a swing by!!! Great service too!

Great vibe, incredible food, warm service! The decor is SO FUN! We ordered the Antique Avocado Grain Toast with Smoked Salmon and the North Jersey Pork Roll & Egg Sangwich…. Both items were made with fresh, high quality ingredients and absolutely delicious. This place SLAPS!! 10/10. Get there early to avoid a wait. We can’t wait to come back and try their burger!
