i look forward to my work travels to morgantown because of this beautiful place. spring wildflowers are abundant! they’ve done an amazing job carving hiking & biking paths through this gorgeous hillside ravine. there are many different ecosystems showcased. parking is easy & it’s very quiet once you descend below the road level.

Stopped quickly to stretch our legs. It was a good walk. I really enjoyed how the trees were labeled. I learned a few things!

Great hiking and scenery here! Love that you can feel like you’re out in the middle of nowhere when you’re right in the center of it all. They have done a lot of work keeping these trails up and labeling trees, etc. I sincerely appreciate that most people have refrained from trashing up the area, too. It appears very well-kept in the areas I’ve explored and everyone I’ve come across on the trails has been friendly.

What a gem! Filled with spring ephemerals and native trees and shrubs. Expect/prepare for some steep sections of trail. Many mature trees along the trail are labeled. Thank you to the staff and volunteers that are stewards of the arboretum and trails. Hope to return.

Really enjoyed my brief visit to the WVU Core Arboretum. I drove by a couple times during a work trip and stopped in one evening when I had some time. Great place for a walk or even a hike. There are some easy, wide trails and there there are some others that are steep with loose footing. The bottom near the river gets really soggy, but certainly worth going. Some trails definitely need a little TLC but I think the rain has washed them out. The parking lot is tiny, so you may have to park elsewhere and walk over. Overall, great and can’t wait to come back again.

This little hidden gem will get anyone interesting in taking a walk in the woods. Multiple different trails to transport you into a forest in the middle of the city... Each trail has it own difficulty level. I would be prepared for mud, tree root, and hills on most of them. A good shoe is a must and don't forget the bug spray. There is so much to take in... the beauty of the trees, the peacefulness or the scenery, and the wildlife that comes out of no where. The trails are well marked and a few places to sit and relax along the way. There is an amphitheater that holds different types of shows, sitting there on the hill. Access to the walking trails is just off the road and it's easy in and easy to get out of.

WOW!! So glad to have stopped here while passing through Morgantown. I wanted to find a good place to get some hiking done and I’m really glad I stopped here. Paths are well marked and maintained with little to no litter left behind. Around the cliffs there are areas where one can go off the path and climb, nearer to rocks, but I highly recommend only hikers in good health with a climbing aid (walking staff, hiking poles) attempt this. There are many signs imploring hikers to stay on the marked paths. I would love to bring a bike and go on the bicycling paths. There are separate paths for cycling and hiking which I appreciate for safety. I enjoyed the couple of hours I spent here and hope to be able to come back!! Thank you to the university for keeping such a beautiful place open and free for people like me, just passing through and needing to stretch my legs and have lunch outside.

Always a great place to find local delicious food. Love that they take ebt as well and currently match $10. All the farmers ar the market are kind and will answer any question you have about their products.

My fiancé is WVU generational alumni. A few years ago, after moving back to the East Coast, we started to attend one football game a year. The stadium is super clean; food is decent and the price for concessions is extremely affordable compared to other stadiums. So much fun. High entertainment. We love our little annual tradition on visiting the beautiful campus and stadium.

Awesome game day experience! From tailgating at the blue lot before the game to singing country roads after a Mountaineer victory. Everyone in WV should experience a game at this stadium at least once in their life.

Absolutely love it here on game day! No better place to be. And singing country roads after a win is the best tradition in college football. We have been to several games but we went to the Backyard Brawl last time. The atmosphere is always electric but the Brawl added a whole other element. Definitely worth the added ticket price!

What awesome place Band Field show. Philip Barbour band was awesome, WVU Band was amazing. Thank you for all the hard work and effort to make the day great for a first time band family.

According to the college basketball reference, North Carolina has a better SRS and SOS than West Virginia. North Carolina is hands down the better team, get over it. Indiana would get in before West Virginia did, West Virginia is not a good team, they are okay. Win more games if you want to be in the NCAA tournament.

It’s a really great place to learn and enjoy your university time. The value of learning is different from one department to another as it vary depending on the area of study you want to pursue. Life is quite affordable and people are mice in the surrounding area.

The university cut its mathematics PHD program a couple of years ago, which negatively impacted students by hindering their development of essential critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills, and limited their future career opportunities.

Great University!!!The facilities are well kept. We visited for Fall Family Weekend and we had fun with the little ones. Enjoyed different activities in the Student Recreation Center.

2018 DECEMBER GRAD. Best college experience anyone could ask for!! I miss going to school here so much. The Robinson Reading Room on the downtown campus is the best place to study for 12 hours straight!! ha

First visit on founder's day. Great little museum with a lot of Morgantown history!

Nice museum with a lot information and great displays on the history of Morgantown. One of the staff members, Patricia, walked around with us and answered our questions and gave us more background. No tickets are required; donations accepted and well worth it.

A lovely place to spend an hour or so learning about the local community. Stroller friendly. The volunteer docents were helpful with additional historic tips.

Great little museum about the history of Morgantown WV. Donations accepted. Staff very lively and fun to speak to. It's small so you can actually see n read everything in less than two hours. Very interesting history before and during the creation of this college town.

My husband and I saw Labyrinth in concert there last night. It was excellent! My only complaint is my husband is a big guy and the seats are very small.

Went to the Don Knotts Festival this weekend with my two grandkids. They had been to the theater many times for my granddaughter dance recital but had no idea who the statue was outside the theater. Today, they learned all about Don Knotts. It was great.

I always enjoy going to a performances at The Met. The architecture takes you back to a previous era and the acoustics are fantastic. Last night's The HU concert was no exception. Front Row Center Balcony seats are the best seats in the house. Excellent show at a great venue with an awesome staff.

The Metropolitan Theatre is a beautifully restored theatre in downtown Morgantown, West Virginia! This year, The Met turned 100 years old! Featuring great acoustics in a historic setting with modern sound and lighting equipment, The Met is a wonderful place to see a live performance!

WOW what a gorgeous theatre space! We're rehearsing for a show that hasn't opened yet, so my pics don't show the stage, but I think you can still tell how beautiful this historic theatre is. It's updated with high-end lighting and sound and the chairs are pretty comfy, comfy enough to sit through a play anyway! My only complaint is that the bathrooms and lobby are relatively small for such a large theatre.

Great venue for concerts! Awesome sight lines. No bad seats.

Pros: nice staff, the space is well maintained, helpful labels and descriptions accompany most art pieces. Cons: tiny gallery of somewhat random art works. Parking and access to the museum is a bit tricky. Overall, while we did not expect to find another Louvre or MoMA here, it was a letdown.

Thought there'd be more to see. It is only two rooms, and it was a little creepy, having to be quietly followed by a college student lol. It was still worth going.

Really nice experience, I truly enjoyed the art and my visit! The entrance is free but good to make a donation. I will come back often!

i went on a tour of the museum here with my art clubmates and it was fun, had a beautiful mural by the entrance that i couldnt keep my eyes off of, and had interesting things to do like getting in groups of 4 and useing colored paper shapes to create "abstract art" and got a free ticket for the cafeteria buffet! was a lil under dramatic at times but that was because i arent much of a fan of landscape or abstract art.

What a little gem of an art museum. Only two galleries, but the Walker Evans Exhibit was spectacular and I’m so glad I happened upon it while I was in town for a few days. The tickets were free and there were only 3 other people there during my visit. It was like a private viewing experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Beautibeautiful place! The hill up to the rock is pretty steep, but it is not a long walk. The view is pretty awesome . I do say, though. The lookout platform is not really the best. You can not see much from there, but I still think it is a beautiful view

Loved it. Beautiful for a picnic or sightseeing from the top of Sky Rock. There's a playground area for the kids behind the Pavillion. Nice paved parking also at the pavilion.

Awesome disc golf course. Good exercise as there is some serious elevation changes. extra good workout if you aren't a great player like me, haha! very pretty and amazing views overlooking the town.

An easy hike with decent views.

This is a beautiful view point to watch almost whole Morgantown WV from a cliff. There are picnic tables areas and grilling is allowed. There is a cabin one can rent also which is walking distance from golf course also. Entrance is Wright off a high traffic downhill area, so be careful entering it and locating it Google does take you there.

The best time to visit this area is at sunset when is sky is full of colors!! From the top, you can see the entire sky... picture the sun setting on one side & you turn around to see the moon behind you!! Its truely breathtaking!! Also... Perfect place for a picnic! Or a quick break from the hustle & bustle of everyday life! The trail to the top rock is kind of steep, but you can enjoy the views from most areas of the park! They have restrooms & a pavilion you can rent for events! This "Spirit Wall" full of nature sceneries made from rock and GLASS is pretty awesome too! These pictures do it no justice!

The park is pretty cool and it's great to see that some parts if nature are being preserved, but I hate that some morons felt obligated to graffiti the rocks. Sometimes I think humans shouldn't be allowed places. These geologic formations have been here for millennia and some jerks thought it would be fine to desecrate them and litter around the site. Other than that, it's a nice place.

I stopped in here in a Thursday evening for a bite to eat while traveling. I sat at the bar. There was no wait for a seat there but there was a little bit of a delay with ordering. The bartender seemed to be a bit overwhelmed so I waited a few minutes for a menu and then a few more for a drink and then a few more to order food. He was very apologetic to the few of us sitting at the bar. They had two sour beers on the menu but both kegs had kicked so I had an IPA. I ordered an apple butter pulled chicken sandwich. I waited a bit for that to come out. There was a lot of chicken. It was ok. It came with a bag of Miss Vickie’s chips. It was similar to a sandwich that would would get from a bbq joint. There was a live band inside near the bar. They sounded good. The atmosphere was casual. They have an outdoor patio that was packed and I believe it was the weekend of the college’s graduation so they at be were busier than usual but this was my first time here so not sure. There was a very tiny parking lot that was full so I parked near the walking trail that runs along the patio and back of the building. That was a metered parking lot using Parkmobile and I crossed a small walking bridge on the trail to get to the building. Prices were reasonable. Overall it was an ok visit.

If your in Morgantown West Virginia come and check out Mountain State Brewing Co. Food was ok. It came out hot and at a descent time. The waitress was very polite and answered all my questions that i had. Service was a little slow but they did have two large groups that were here. The nachos were good along with the Cuban sandwich. I would come back and eat here again.

The pizza ( Fire on the Mountain) was REALLY delicious as was the beer cheese and chips! The house salad was not great. For the $8 price of a small, I was really disappointed that it was wilted and soggy. It was a nice size though just not very fresh. Will definitely be back as I loved everything else.

Absolutely delicious pizza!! We also ordered a flight of margaritas which were delish-but maybe just a smidge too much ice. But flavors (lime, lime jalapeño and berry) were just amazing!!! Two house salads also complimented our meals-the ranch was thick creamy and tasted homemade. Salad were decent sized portions. The pizza was hot and perfect. We dined outside. I appreciate the ambiance inside, but it was a tiny bit dark. I do love what they were doing with the light theme (copper) but it just didn’t play out with effective lighting. Cool touch-but too dark. Great service. The beer dolly sods was an absolute bust- definitely not tasty! I felt like it was a beer you had to chew-but order the margaritas and you’ll be happy!

Used to really like the pizza here, but last time the pizza was junk. Couldn't even hold the pizza it was so floppy. It was like this at the restaurant as well. Still took it home to try and eat lol. Great service though.

This is for the Morgantown by the river location. Wait time from door to table was very short. Sat outside in a corner table. Basically forgotten about while tables full of locals celebrating homecoming got served. Both beers I had were sub par. Some of the worst beers I have had at a microbrewery. The blonde and the amber 🤮. Couldn't finish the amber. Flatbread pizzas were decent. But my daughter, who has never not eaten a chicken nugget/tender, couldn't eat her order of dino nuggets. Nothing ruins a day trip like a poor dining experience.

The food was amazing and portioned well!!! Jenn was excellent at being honest about what we were getting and helping us sift through what we'd like. Also very attentive and friendly! It wasn't busy at all when we came in. The brewery features a list of its own on draft and also has a few guest breweries to choose from.

I have been wanting to see this since I found out it was down in Morgantown where my daughter lives. Don Knotts was such a part of my childhood The Andy Griffith Show three's company and several other movies he was an amazing versatile actor

Fun little stop in Morgantown to see where Don Knott’s life & career started. The Ghost & Mr. Chicken…still one of my favourite movies.

A young father asked his child if he knew Don Knotts today. He started to tell his son all his fond distant memories of old TV shows. It is wonderful to remember Don Knotts. May he be Mr. Furley in Three's Company, Mr. Limpet, or the Shakiest Gun in the West, or the iconic Andy Griffith Show. He comforts our own aspirations for success: "I don’t know what to say. I’ve always been a prepared loser."

We drove almost 8 hours to see this statue! It's a great representation of such a wonderful man and actor. Barney Fife is always in my heart! Morgantown did well with this. Also see the Don Knott's section in the Morgantown History Museum!

Don Knotts (1924-2006) is famous for his role as Deputy Sheriff "One Bullet" Barney Fife on the fabulous Andy Griffith Show. He earned -FIVE- Best Supporting Actor Emmy Awards for the role. He also played on Three's Company for five years. Don was born here in Morgantown, graduated from Morgantown High School and got his start as a ventriloquist at the Metropolitan Theater and this statue stands in front. Though it didn't take off and he joined the US Army and spent most of his time in the service entertaining troops. After his time in the army, he returned to West Virginia and attended WVU. He later moved to New York and broke into show business thanks to the connections he made in the military. He was eventually cast in the Andy Griffith show where he played the "nearly always wrong" Deputy Fife for eight years. This statue honors him. It was unveiled on July 23, 2016 in front of The Metropolitan Theatre. It depicts him sitting and holding his "deputy" hat in his hand. There is a star with his name on the sidewalk near his feet. There is street parking and it's easy to photograph. Thanks for the laughs and entertainment, Don! You're missed.

Long live Mr. Don Knotts! I highly recommend shaking his hand and you pass by. He’s a staple of Morgantown culture. And while you’re at it, take a ride down Don Knotts boulevard. Barney Fife was the star of the show, not Andy Griffith.

We love Spark! They have done such a great job with fun activities, keeping it clean, scavenger hunts, learning opportunities, and more! The employee has been so nice every time we come and goes above and beyond in their position. The kids are always very excited to go!

Completely unexpected as it's located in an old mall that definitely needs some TLC. This place is definitely keeping for traffic there. Lots of fun learning activities, games and interactive exhibits for kids. My daughter didn't want to leave!

We stopped in before heading home on a long drive. My son had a blast. We were there about 2 hours and I was pulling him out to leave. Such a great hands on place for kids. Lots of different activities and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

We stopped in Morgantown to spend the night on our drive to Baltimore. WVU was not in session so the town was very quiet. This pub was very busy, we grabbed a couple of corner barstools. Bartender came right over and took care of us. We had local beer and split a delicious hamburger. Highly recommend if you are in the area

We waited 15-20 minutes to get our drink order taken. Not even like the waiter didnt know we were there since the girl that sat us ended up being the one to take our order. We then waited close to an hour to get our food. The place wasn't busy either, maybe 4 other tables and two waiters. We'd also ordered fries and never got them so we asked nicely if they could be comped from the bill. Instead of taking them off the bill the waitress came over with a box of cold fries and threw them on our table when we were leaving. We hadn't said anything rude or confrontational but we could see her walking across the restaurant staring at us and cursing under breath. The food was fine, though I had received an obviously frozen burger. There were only 4 of us, there was no reason we should have waited that long especially since it wasn't busy. Waitress didnt talk to us at all even when taking our orders. She was unnecessarily rude and went to other people to complain about us. We were quiet and respectful even after she threw the fries at us.

Afternoon brunch, dinner for the evening or just to enjoy an adult beverage you can’t go wrong with Iron Horse! I’ve been going since 2014 and they never disappoint. I’ve had everything from brunch, soups and salads to burgers and desserts. Great food, large fresh portions and very friendly staff! They’ve also got a great selection of alcohol to fit anyone’s drinking tastes. Everything is priced really well for the quality and size.

Good beer, good bartender. Food was ok. Hubby got fried chicken & I got the K-BBQ. Chicken was good. K-BBQ was quite unpalatable-just tasted like under-spiced old meat that had been sitting around a while. Wound up just sharing my hubby's meal & eating my side salad. Have worked many years in the food industry-just feel a small gesture would have been nice-comp me a beer, give me even $3 off my meal since all I had was a small side salad but, still was charged full price when I only took 1 bite of my sandwich. Bartender did ask if I wanted something else; I just didn't at that point because unsure if I would like it. The place was clean, decent selection-but, probably wouldn't go back.

Great seats, great game, great place! My family recently attended the Harlem Globetrotters game at WVU Coliseum. This is the first time we have seen the Harlem Globetrotters at this location in quite some time, and we were not disappointed! No matter which seat you are in, it is a good one, so you have a clear iview of all entertainment. The Globetrotters were very funny and kept your focused the whole time as usual. You had plenty of areas to purchase memorabilia, including down on the court. If I had any complaints about this visit, it was two things. We traveled from PA for this game. On the way in, we had to walk quite a ways from parking to get to the Colosseum. Upon entering, security stopped my 10-year-old daughter for her backpack purse she was wearing and said that she could not take it inside. We informed him that it was not a backpack, but was a purse to which he held up a small card around his neck and said that it was too large. We even gave him the opportunity to search it and he did not want to do that, so my husband had to walk 10 minutes down and 10 minutes back to put it in the car which made us very late for the game. During the autograph signing, they did rope off a square around the court that the players would stand behind while we stood on the other side. I kind of wish that they would’ve had another rope behind us to where they could keep you in line similar to an amusement park line. Unfortunately, when you only put the rope up in front of the player, you have people who will wait their turn and then you have others who will push their way from the sides because there is no actual line itself. My 7 year old who was very small was squeezed between 2 adults trying to push from both sides of him. There could definitely be a better process for this line. Other than that, we had an excellent time! It is a night that my kids will remember for years to come!

Went for a granddaughter's basketball game. Easy to find. Parking was good. If you are taking anything inside it must be in a clear bag. No backpack, no purse's unless clear.

Great place to go for a game of basketball or wrestling match. If you like it and it's at the Coliseum. You won't be disappointed. Clean venue and friendly people.

Incredible venue to watch basketball. Not a bad seat in the house. Expansion of dining options, shopping and improved parking and traffic direction make this a great college basketball experience.

Salads were great. Everything was fresh and the meat was super flavorful as well as being very tender. They're a bit expensive, but they're pretty damn big and the customization options are wild. They did forget my second dressing with one of my salads, though. :( Edit: I came back to try some of their other items. Just as the salads were, everything was fresh, juicy, and had so much flavor. The burrito was a solid size and the quesadilla was so stuffed that it was no longer a handheld food, haha. The kiwi salsa was definitely interesting too. It was good, but I think it would be a really great salad dressing rather than as a dip for chips and such. I would have liked to increase my rating to a 5, but once again, they forgot an item with my order.

Clean bathrooms and a relaxed setting make it a great place to hang out or grab a laid-back meal. Service – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A bit confusing at first—there’s no hostess, and the large open space can leave first-timers unsure of how to order. There is a sign suggesting to grab a menu, but they weren’t easy to spot. Thankfully, an employee noticed we looked new and stepped in to explain the ordering process. He handed us menus, told us to grab a seat, and explained we could order at the counter when ready. That helpful guidance definitely saved the experience and bumped the score up. Food – ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We started with a chicken and cheese quesadilla—no frills, just the basics, with rice on the side. It came with chips and salsa, and the salsa in particular was fresh and flavorful. The quesadilla was large, well-prepared, and filling. I also had the Camarones Diaz Tacos—served on two grilled corn tortillas with smoked Gouda cheese, sriracha refried beans, light rice, lettuce mix, grilled Spanish onions, pickled jalapeños, marinated grilled chicken, and green goddess sauce. You can choose between chicken, steak, or shrimp. There’s definitely a lot going on in these tacos, but the blend of flavors worked surprisingly well. It’s a bit of a messy dish—definitely a “good messy”—but everything tasted fresh and came together nicely. ⸻ Final Verdict: Black Bear Burritos delivers a cool vibe, solid service (especially if you’re new), and fresh, creative food. Some menu items are stacked with ingredients, but they manage to make it all work. Worth a visit if you’re in Morgantown and in the mood for something a little different!

Blackbear is never a bad idea!! We travel over three hours to eat here and there is nowhere else in Morgantown we ever try. Sometimes we even stop and eat at Blackbear on our way to Pittsburgh because there is nowhere as good or like it there.

Great food, lively atmosphere and very friendly staff! Plenty to choose from on the menu and even a build your own section. There’s also weekly specials made just for that week. Along with a great beer and cocktails selection. All of which will keep you coming back!

Fast Casual and Delicious! I’ve enjoyed Black Bear for many years, but this was my first experience at the Evansdale location. This place was popping for 5pm on a rainy Friday. I love the large spacious dining room. Very clean, too. We ordered a Irie Member burrito and a the Cannonbowl Run. Both delicious with the burrito on the spicy side. We added queso and guacamole with chips which are both great options with generous portions. You get your money’s worth. This place is a great value. I ordered a margarita but I’d opt for a beer next time. They have a great beer selection. I would visit again and again.

Black Bear is a local favorite for a reason! The food is always fresh and flavorful, made with local ingredients that really stand out. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. They also have an awesome selection of local beers on tap, which makes it even better. Definitely a go-to spot in town!

I’ve always enjoyed this place! They have great food, people are always nice and friendly. Atmosphere is decent, they do have live bands playing every once in a while. But it’s not a favorite for my friends and family so I don’t get to visit very often. Now I’m craving a burrito!

Very difficult to access, and no available parking. This place is quite literally in the WVU campus. No clear signage for this museum. I would argue this is not really for the open public. Better suited for students and alumni.

Amazing place. A1 professional staff create detailed exhibits that educate visitors on the technological/industrial history of our state and its human accompaniment. The timber industry and related stories are up now. Check it out!

I wouldn't call it a museum, it's more of a gallery.

Atmosphere- Clean but dark. Felt kinda cramped with table almost right up next to each other. Small bar. Service- 4 stars- waitress was friendly and attentive. Food- Pizza was really good. Got the Margarita Pizza and a large anti pasta salad. Both were very good. Would come here again. Just wish it was more roomy.

Cool spot. Pizzas were pretty good. Excellent salad. Large could be shared with 3 or 4 people. The small pie is very disappointing and very different from the large. Service was helpful & very friendly. We really loved the vibe of this cute strip mall pizza spot.

Great spot, nice atmosphere inside or out. Service was prompt and courteous. I had the steak and mushroom pizza, which was outstanding.

I can view my favorite sports while enjoying their great gluten-free selections. Including excellent Mediterranean shrimp and Kalamata olive pizza, char-grilled chicken wings with gorgonzola dipping sauce and my favorite Green's Gluten-free Amber Ale, definitely are able to cover my cravings. As we say in PA Dutch, "Nix Besser!"

Pies and Pints has the most unique gourmet pizzas. My favorite might be the Cuban pulled pork and cilantro. I cannot actually pick a favorite however. The ingredients are so fresh and healthy tasting. They put together some amazing combinations! Don’t forget the pints. A great selection of small and large craft beers. I would encourage anyone who appreciates higher quality ingredients in their pies and their pints, to check this pizzeria out.

The chicken gouda ended up being our favorite pizza which I didn't get the pictures of but we tried the special for the day in the picture at lunch time and took the chicken gouda home.. Low light and relaxed in this place..

Excellent pizza. Had the shrimp sriracha pizza with cilantro, mint and pineapple. The flavors came together beautifully. We tried the white elephant beer which was quite tasty. Highly recommend-

Really enjoyed the oldest brewery in West Virginia. Just there for a flight of beers but all were very tasty. Good variety to choose from. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere to chat with friends.

Delicious burgers and sandwiches, great beer, and cozy laid-back atmosphere. I'll definitely come back and try more of their burgers. They're reasonably priced and perfectly sized. The roasted Brussels were also really good side, fries were equally delicious. I got the seasonal Christmas sours, which were festive and on point.

Chill spot in Morgantown. We stopped by to watch the World Cup game and grab a bite to eat. First off, loved the self seating and the ability to come up to the counter whenever you’re ready to order. Enjoyed a ginger beer and a plate of poutine - very tasty and filling. The vibe and ambience were relaxing. No loud noise to interrupt conversation. Also not too crowded. Highly recommend this place and would come back again.

One of the best places to eat in Morgantown. The food here is delicious and very affordable. The wings are very good quality and great sauce selection. The vibe in here is also so chill and welcoming. Will be back if I'm ever in Morgantown again. Amazing experience.

The food and beer were delicious! There is an outdoor (dog friendly) patio and indoor seating. We sat outside but I did notice a ping pong table inside. I highly recommend the sour beer called Listen to Missy Elliott and the grilled chicken pepperoni parm sandwich.

The poutine of the month is a great. The new brew #SnailMail is on point. A cola conditioned sour with tart cherry and vanilla. Don't sleep on the monster pretzel. Hit the deck for a view and a great atmosphere

We went for Oktoberfest. It was a fun, enjoyable time. The place was packed. There was a great polka band. They had a special menu of food items for the occasion. See photo of Frammkuchen, Schnitzel, Perogies, and Bratwurst. I had the Glow in the Dark stout. It was excellent. Prices are $10-20 for food. We parked in the Wharf Parking Garage down the street a couple of blocks.

Long and enough trail. Nice env. You can jog as much as u want. Moreover its nt that crowded at all. A lot of parking stations at different junctions, we frequently change junctions and take a walk. I liked the trail and so I recommend to whoever concerned. Again, really wonderful trail for jogging and so on

This end of the trail is super nice! Not as many people. There is a neat little kayak ramp onto the river, which is so handy! I love visiting this part of the Mon River Trail to take pictures! You can expect plenty of parking, a restroom, a clean environment, and lots of fun! 10/10 recommend.

Great place to park and ride your bike on the rail trail or put your kayak in. There is a bathroom and plenty of parking.

Love this trail all year round. Trailhead has a couple nice features including a little bike tuning spot! Came in handy when my stroller had a flat!

Beautiful restaurant along the river. Inventive dishes that were very tasty! Drinks were good too. They accidentally brought out the wrong drink but quickly fixed it (though took a while to come in the first place but we weren’t in a rush so not a problem). Got brussels sprouts, chicken dish and a tofu dish. All of them were tasty, creative, and inspiring.

Delicious meal, good service, great spot on the water. The pickles were interesting, good but different almost beer batter coating. Brussel sprouts were quite good. The pork chop was dynamite, delicious sauce.

The food is astounding. Everything is have had from the menu and the specials have been nothing but incredible. Will highly recommend even if the bartender is sketchy.

The food was great!! Spent a decent amount of time here and enjoyed the river. The only thing I have to mention is all the spiders, because they were everywhere. Above you, below you, crawling next to you and on the back of your chair. Huge huge spiders. Obviously this is on the patio but I went inside to get away from them for a second and I saw one on the ceiling inside. Maybe I’m the only one with an issue but I definitely will not be sitting outside again at this place.

Great local brew pub. Brand new location! Lots of seating and new food menu. The space is great to meet others from the community. This town has been needing a brewery like this, it fosters a local feel with pictures and seating that allows you to talk to others that are not in your party. The beer selection is fun with classic style beers. Feel free to bring your kids, they have games and coloring sheets for them to enjoy. Easy to find parking and other fun venues.

I love this new bar in Morgantown! The whole ambiance of the place was great. They have lots of great options in terms of craft beer and wine, including some NA beers. The flatbread pizzas are delicious. The staff there was also really nice. I'll definitely be back soon!

Great beer, plenty of seating, nice ambiance. Hoping they have another bartender on hand during busy times, waits were slightly long but nothing to bothersome. Love the old location but this is an excellent upgrade!

Immediately upon walking in, the bartender Dani greeted us. Her energy was infectious and she was so welcoming. Even if the beer was terrible, it would be worth going just to see her. But, the beer is actually excellent. The concept is fantastic - devoting a brewery to referencing the American chestnut tree, its demise, and its future resurrection is such a cool vibe for a brewery. The halleck pale ale is a no brainer and so versatile. It was hard to stray from it, but I did try the yallhalla which was also excellent. One of the few breweries where a Pilsner can impress me, like the Dad Jokes beer did. This brewery deserves 100/100, you wish the city you live in has a brewery like this

They make the best beer in WV by my mark. Quality flatbreads and live music in a cozy space make them even more enjoyable. A worthy successor in the old Black Bear location.

I love seeing how Chestnut has expanded over the years. The new space on Pleasant Street is absolutely gorgeous! Dani was so kind and knowledgeable and made the experience even better :)

MOLDY That's 100% mold. There was no syrup on the shortcake. It had a single strawberry on top and moldy whipped cream. Even if it did oxidize, why would it only oxidize there? Why would I want a gift card to get another moldy pastry? Maybe your pastries shouldn't sit in the case for days on end. It smelled like feet and funky basement. You can see the half eaten strawberry that was immediately spit into the trash because even it tasted bad. It would've been one thing if you just owned up to it being moldy but no, it was all due to "oxidation" of some non-existent strawberry syrup. Your accountability is worse than your pastries. If I could give you negative stars I would.

Overall, love coming here and often do! Love that there is local artwork you can purchase and the food is delicious. Only complaint is the side of fruit, which is always hit or miss. Today was a miss. Squished blueberries, many seeds in the pineapple, and the watermelon is more juice than melon. Overall, couldn’t eat the side, but the remainder is on point. Will continue to come back, but maybe will just stop ordering the fruit.

The food and coffee are spectacular at this café. Freshly prepared dishes and pastries on display. The coffee selection is very diverse and the presentation is tasteful. The prices for the coffee are we with in affordable and allows you to try several especially if you are a student working on a project. You can also get a local draft beer. The inside is decorated in local artists and information. There is outside seating that you can enjoy the sights of the rail trail and local park. My only criticism is the service, I have been there several times and had to wait over 15 minutes for some one to come to the counter to take an order. People would pass by but would not acknowledge those in line. They would serve you quickly then you not be able to find a person if you needed anything extra.

The lunch food was really good--between the three of us, our group had two salads and the salmon omega club which was quite tasty. We arrived at 11:30 and missed the breakfast options by an hour, which was sad. The desserts were actually a bit disappointing; they were absolutely gorgeous, just not very flavorful. And one cupcake was a bit dry. The key line pie, however, was delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. They seemed to have art up from local artists, I expect, available for purchase too. The service people were very friendly and helpful as well. Overall it was a really good experience!

A Rail Trail Oasis… This is a fantastic place to start or end your trek on the rail trail. Whether it’s a preworkout breakfast or a post bike ride beers Terra Cafe has something for everyone. The menu is chef inspired with layers of flavors in each dish. Nearly every ingredient is made in house including all breads, dressings, soups, and desserts. I enjoyed the roast beef sandwich. My personal taste would have preferred a little less chimichurri and a little more crunch in the baguette. They have wonderfully fresh options for sides but no chips which I would have liked to have. Give Terra Cafe a try.

Honestly, this is one of the lamest places I have visited. But I checked West Virginia off my list. I have other places and things in WV I would like to see, and regret not going there. Morgantown ain’t it. Live and learn.

Came here for my birthday trip breakfast and it was so good. I had a maple latte it was absolutely perfect. The sandwich was great and very fresh and the fruit salad had all crunchy grapes 5 stars for that alone 😆 all the staff here was so sweet thank you guys 🫶🏻

Enjoyed this very modern, clean-line coffee shop. Most importantly, excellent espresso and cappuccino, and their to-go coffee was good (it travelled well taste-wise). They had a very solid selection of breakfast options, but pastries can be hard to come by after 8:30 due to how busy it is. They have tables inside and out. The staff were very friendly but not overly so. Definitely knew their coffee business.

This is an expert coffeeshop. The cappuccino was done with perfection and had a nice smooth flavor without any bitterness. I typically don't enjoy cappuccinos, but I tried my sister's cappuccino, and it was incredible. I personally had a plain iced latte, And my parents had a plain Hot Latte And we were extremely happy with our drinks!

Loved it here! Was traveling from out of state and passed it and stopped. I had a great latte and the caprese sandwhich tasted so fresh! Would definitely recommend!

I don’t believe I have had a better cappuccino anywhere. The lattes are amazing as well - I get it with an extra shot of espresso and it’s then a stairway to heaven. The food is good too - but, when there’s good coffee, who needs food?

Nice bar, staff wasn't very welcoming. After a fairly rude greeting we waited over an hour for food, wasn't a busy night and bar was staffed. One server was nicer and did comp the drinks once it was clear it wasn't coming.

Running some errands and decided to pop into the Hotel Morgan. It is absolutely beautiful inside. The bar is elegant, yet comfortable. My martini was perfect and the black bean burger was one of the best I've had. Upon discovering I am new to town, the bartender was kind enough to list some of his favorite places for me to check out. Great service!

Solo Prices vary on menu. For example salad was supposed to be 6$ an steak 4$ when I got my receipt it was 7$ an steak 6 which came up to 13.91 terrible. I asked can I get my salad at the price on the menu she says no sorry unfortunately you HAVE to Pay what's on the receipt. Ashley was pretty RUDE about it

My bride and I stopped in to have a drink before a wedding we were attending at the hotel. Service was quick and friendly and the drinks were well crafted.

Bartenders were nice, bar itself is cozy and nice ambiance. However, it seems the drinks have significantly gone down hill since they opened. The aviation tasted like sugary lemonade, no taste of gin. She did offer to make another and I appreciated that but declined. Would also expect fresh ingredients for a $15 drink, not juice concentrate.. Limited and out of season cocktail menu. They need to revamp their menu, ingredients and quality of cocktails they’re serving. We will not be returning :(

Went here on a Friday midday to enjoy a drink with my lady, and it’s a nice bar overall. There is limited tap beer but that’s ok, they still have a decent variety with bottled included. It’s a smaller bar, but better then many other hotel bars I have been in.

Accessible for the mobility impacted, which is a huge plus. The sound system for concerts is really good here.

We went to see the summer concert series and the Huey Lewis Tribute band was playing. It was so much fun and an amazing time. There were plenty of food vendors, ADA wheelchair areas for watching the concert, WV and Ruby items to buy, and it was overall clean. We're going back for the next couple of bands in the summer concert series!

Great place to catch a concert, go for a walk/run or just hang out. There's also a boat/kayak slip. FUN FACT: The Summer Concert series at Ruby Amplitheater was ranked number 3 in the nation by USA Today in 2025. That's over places like Denver, NYC, and Vail.

Excellent park for the entire family. lots to do or just hang out for the scenery. Bring your fishing gear, biking, walking, kayaking, all types boating and water recreation. Close to college life type bars and restaurants. Can be traffic issues getting there at rush hours. Pet friendly, play areas, and restrooms available.

Really enjoyed it here on Independence Day. Just wish the songs were all Patriotic. Amazing fireworks show.

A very beautiful riverfront trail/park that goes through the heart of Morgantown.

Nice big rink, affordable prices, especially if you have your own skates

This rink is pretty old. It smells like old building and hockey. The lobby is pretty small, the locker room was basically a shed in the corner of the building. There is seating, in by the rink is pretty cold. There isn't any seating near center ice because they have small goals stored and the door to bring the zam in so seating is down the sides and ends. There are pillars all down the sides so it makes it difficult to see anything going on other than right where you stand. Parking was also a pain, there is very little at the building, people were parking up a hill across the street.

We had our son birthday party here. The room was clean & didn’t smell like a locker room! The kids had a blast!

The bathroom renovations are really nice and well needed. The ice just went down the other day and is pretty fast considering it was almost 90 degrees outside. The improvements are noticeable! *Edit: STILL waiting on BOPARC to do the 5M renovations promised 2 seasons ago!!

Arena waiting area is incredibly small. No space for safe environment putting on and taking off skates. My 4 year old niece had her barefoot stepped on by someone. Ice rink also had no handheld devices for balance for beginners/ young members on the ice. Rink was also very packed. Pricing was decent. Staff was friendly.

Drove an hour and half to take my daughter ice skating for her birthday only to be told that public skating ended at noon. When I replied that website said public skating started at 2:30 pm, I was told that the site was wrong and Google wouldn’t change it. I was told that Google had been contacted multiple times and they would not fix the discrepancy. I was told they were sorry, we were the 7th group they had turned away that day. Hey Google, how about fixing this issue? Morgantown Ice Skating Arena how about putting your new hours on Facebook or posting a phone number that someone actually answers? This might save a lot of people a wasted trip.

This place is a testament to how much people love to skate. You have to love it, because this facility is a bit depressing. The overriding color of this place is a greyish-yellow. I feel like it's a color that only exists here and in horror movies. I'd recommend that they just convert this to an outdoor rink, but then they wouldn't be able to keep the place as cold as it is during the winter. Still, the ice is frozen and the scoreboard works, so let's skate!

Cute place. Parking isn’t fabulous. There are stairs to climb if you want to shop downstairs. No clear way to get there from the outside to skip the stairs.

It has a great bike and runner's shops. And the upstairs has nice little boutiques for the ladies to shop in.

We love visiting the Country Roads Quilt Shop. Beautiful place. Friendly people. And very helpful. If you like to sew or make quilts you want to stop here.

A very interesting shopping center. Several boutique stores plus a great bike shop and running store. A shame the chocolate place is out of business but certainly worth a visit.

Perfect place full of fantastic small businesses. A hidden gem of history, mixed with a plethora of what's going on around the area.

Great place to go if you’re interested in the history of ‘Seneca Glass.’

This place has so much potential! Perfect location but only a few shops still....hopefully more will come as the economy and the area continue to grow. My favorites included Latch Boutique (not much to look at but great clothes and a charming young owner) and The Cutting Room had nice things as well. For arts and crafts, visit Whipporwill Woods and Waters on the bottom floor.

Perfect place for a lovely riverside dinner. The food was incredible. I highly recommend the stuffed banana peppers. They are a little spicy but perfectly hit the spot. The crab dip and sachettis were perfect as well. They have both indoor and patio seating, and both have really nice ambiance. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great Italian dining experience.

We had Saturday reservations at 4:30 and were promptly seated. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We were inside. The service overall was very good the entire time. Our server made some suggestions and we started with the Angel Hair Crab Balls and the Stuffed Banana Peppers. Both appetizers were very good - the crab balls in particular were very unique! We also had salads and soup - I liked the Caesar salad but didn’t love the wedding soup (it needed a little more flavor for my taste.) Everyone at the table really enjoyed their entrees. The chicken parm, seafood Alfredo and the trio were very good. My husband especially enjoyed the grilled scallops in the Alfredo. My dad had a grilled red snapper special that he really enjoyed as well. Next time we are in town I would not hesitate to stop back in!

This is my girlfriend Gina‘s favorite restaurant in Morgantown. I didn’t post a picture of it but the dish called the “Diablo” is absolutely the best thing on the menu. They have specials every day and the seafood is also good. The dish the “Mediterranean” it’s also extremely good. We have been wanting to try the place called Cafe Oliverio’s for quite some time. It looks like they have pizza and hoagies at that one. I attached a picture of their salad and mussels, which were absolutely awesome. Literally almost every weekend we are like, “ let’s go to Oliverio’s!”. Yes, you can dress up and look nice but you can go casual and you can really go however, you want. There are people there dressed every single way you can imagine so you could come in with a hoodie or you could come in with a nice button down. There’s a patio in a bar area and a regular seating area and the building is gorgeous like an old industrial setting. Parking has two different options from a lot right out in front to a parking garage right next to it.

Really a great meal. All the food was delicious. Best calamari in a long time. Loved the bread with hot pepper oil and cheese (we all ate too much of that). Drinks really good too. Service was slow but I can overlook that on a very busy night. Prices were reasonable too

Atmosphere (2/5) Oliverio’s is in a prime location along the Monongahela River, with the rail trail running behind it and a pleasant outdoor seating area that overlooks the water. From the outside, it gives the impression of an inviting, upscale spot, and the initial walk-in feels promising. The bar area is spacious, and the dining room has a mix of booths and tables with skylights that bring in natural light. However, closer inspection reveals that the restaurant needs a lot of TLC. The booths are worn and banged up, and surfaces throughout show signs of wear. The bathroom was especially disappointing — the door wouldn’t close properly, the bottom of it was black with grime, and the floor was sticky and unkempt, with the area below the urinal looking filthy. While the outdoor area was set up nicely for what seemed like an event, the interior felt neglected and in need of a deep cleaning. Service (2/5) Our server was friendly, but the overall service experience was slow and inconsistent. Breadsticks took far too long to arrive. When I ordered Italian wedding soup, the server later informed me it wasn’t ready yet and offered to have me take it home instead. I decided to wait for it, but when the soup finally arrived, it came in a cracked bowl — a crack that went from the rim all the way to the bottom. This is a serious health and safety concern that should have been caught before serving. The salad that came to the table was lackluster, with limp lettuce, a sparse presentation, and what appeared to be a questionable dark piece of produce that initially looked like a bug. Food (3/5) The food was average at best. The breadsticks were the highlight — warm, buttery, and flavorful. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal fell flat. My spaghetti and meatballs featured bland meatballs and a sauce that was overly sweet and tangy, not to my taste. The chicken parmesan came with lukewarm chicken and pasta topped with the same underwhelming sauce. Both dishes were supposed to feature a meat sauce, but I found no visible meat in mine. Overall Oliverio’s has a fantastic location and the potential to be a standout waterfront dining spot in Morgantown, but based on my visit, the restaurant needs major improvements in cleanliness, attention to detail, and food consistency. Right now, it’s hard to see how this place maintains its reputation without addressing these issues.

I highly recommend the grilled veggie pizza and limoncello martini. Great service and fabulous view of the Mon River.

Placed 4 entrees. 3 of the 4 entrees ordered had issues: (2) pasta meal were already cold, my steak was full cooked instead of medium well (no signs of a sight pink). 3 of the 4 meals probably sat around waiting for my wife’s entree that took longer to cook. Asked for 1 of 2 pasta meal to be recook Server said she will get another pasta cooked, but what about the chicken on top? So now that too will be cold??? Asked for another steak, so she asked to take the steak back and leave the mash potatoes/mushroom on the plate. She came back with new steak and mushroom but my mash potatoes for 1st plate was already cold?!?! First and last time here. Wait staff could be trained better to handle cold food. How to fix it. Been to other higher class restaurant and they take care of you. Not here.

Great Menu and awesome happy hour! Bartini has a solid menu full of stars. There should be something for everybody. Don’t sleep on the happy hour menu. $2 domestic drafts and $6 sushi rolls are a great play. Why isn’t it 5 stars? Execution. My crab cake was great but my 6oz filet was a solid medium instead of medium rare. My horseradish sauce needed a little more zip. The spicy tuna roll could have been spicier. Other dishes at the table were honey salmon and mushroom ravioli which were enjoyed. Service was ok, maybe a little relaxed. I would eat there again.

Was here to watch great team win the 15th 🏆 Ambiance was really nice 👍🏼 Sushi was.. ok My friend tells me the steak here is good because the meat is a good quality type that is imported. No Apple Pay so bring a card, or cash. Service can be better.

It was great! The food was delicious! Clean, friendly and patient service. We had a big party and our waitress was very attentive. She even recommended a few dishes and they were delicious! You HAVE to order the blue crab dip. It's very rich but it's a MUST! My little nephew didn't really care for the pizza from the kids menu though but he liked the fries.

We had a drink and they were very good, and decided to get the burgers, not wanting a bigger type meal. They were phenomenal, perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had the chipotle sauce on the side (homemade) and quite spicy but tasty. Not sure how they prep the fries or sweet potato fries, but they were again outstanding, not needing any additional sauce or salt. There were many other items that sounded delicious, but we hit a home run on this, and didn’t break the bank. You don’t have to spend the high end here, and still get extremely good food and service. In fact, we haven’t had this good a burger since our Dad grilled 35 years ago!

Appetizer, Kobe beef and sushi were very good. Mixed drinks were good. The food was good. The crab cakes were very good, not the best I've ever had. The battered fries were unique and very good. The burger was good but overcooked and dry. The honey salmon was delivered cool and overcooked. However, a few issues. There were out of a lot of items, many times we placed orders and the waitress returned to tell us they were out of the item. No martinis, many sides, etc. to the point that it was comical. The waitress told us they had earlier served a large group and sold out of a lot of items. The restaurant was very cold. We asked to me moved to a fireplace, which helped, however my wife wore her coat the whole time. The atmosphere was unique, especially the wine wall We will try it again next time in the area and I will update the review next time. I'm hopeful.

Stunning food and service. The pictures speak for themselves. It tastes as good as it looks. We were also offered chocolate syrup to dip our slab of pork belly into which made it evem more fantastic! Our waitress Katie (or Katy) was helpful, informative, bubbly and had an excellent personality! Thank you Ms. Katie. Slab of Pork Belly, Strawberry Salad w/ Cranberry Vinaigrette, Lobster Mac n Cheese, The Randy Mazey with Garlic Mushrooms, The Marlon LeBlanc, Bread rolls, Watermelon Martini and Mojito. Oh and a Lemoncello cake to go.

Great atmosphere and food. Sushi is very fresh and well made. I had the Maryland crab soup, mountaineer roll and HANDMADE mozzarella logs (sticks).

Enormous portions and delicious, authentic Thai food. Stopped here on a whim and glad we did. The inside looks like a typical take out Thai place you’d find in LA, not WV! We got take out and service was fast, food was piping hot and was really good. The Firecracker chicken was so yummy and the portion (see pic) was HUGE- enough for several people for several days. Red curry was also a good size portion. Both were really good. We are so glad we stopped and will be back often!

We were traveling through Morgantown on our way to Pennsylvania and came across this restaurant. We love Thai food and this place was great. The fire cracker chicken was amazing and the serving is big enough for two adults to share. The coconut dumplings were also incredible. It was so good that we made it a point to stop by on our way back to Kentucky.

The food was amazing, top tier! One of my favorite restaurants in Morgantown esp if you like spicy meals. It is affordable as well.

The food at chang thai was not only amazing, but the atmosphere was too! They have a beautiful outside seating area. We are making this our new spot.

We were in the downtown area of Morgantown, WV for the first time and we were hungry for Thai food. Someone local mentioned Chaang's but didn't know anything about it. So off we went. Our new area of PA near Uniontown doesn't have a single Thai restaurant. Our old FL town had fabulous Thai and we were there at least weekly. So after a year and a half we were desperate for at least passable Thai. Well, we lucked out! Chaang was way better than passable. I had my usual Massaman curry and Thai ice tea. It was just as good as our old hangout, with just a small bit of heat hitting the back of my throat. The Thai ice tea was spot on. My wife had a crispy duck salad which she said was very tasty, minor ding for having just iceberg lettuce, not romaine or other leaf lettuce. The restaurant is set up for ordering off a tablet at the front. This was too much for my wife so we went to the back to get personal help. Once you get to know the place it is probably very easy, but a bit confusing the first time. The staff was very willing to help us through the process. They even have us a few quarters to feed the parking meter out front. It's a busy area and parking is at a premium, so bring quarters or use their online parking app. The owner dropped by our table to see how we were enjoying our meals. He was very pleasant and happy to hear we were really enjoying our meals. We assured him we would return, even though it is a 45 minute trip for us. We highly recommend visiting and eating here.

The food has always been incredible and they are always so detailed with everything! I’ve only ever gotten take out here until today where I sat in the restaurant. We had the most wonderful experience and I was so impressed with everything about the restaurant! The are extremely inclusive when it comes to dietary restrictions, allergies, and just customization in general! The portions are huge as well and I always have enough food for multiple meals! Love it here and everyone should absolutely stop by!

Atmosphere – 4/5 From the outside, Ogawa is easy to overlook—it’s located in a nondescript brick building with a small sign, and at first glance, you might just drive right by. There are a couple of parking spots in the front, but the main parking lot is located behind the building, across the street, and is clearly marked. Once you step inside, though, it feels like you’ve discovered a hidden gem. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean, and welcoming, with two sushi chefs constantly working at the counter. It’s a well-laid-out space with plenty of seating. The only drawback during my visit was the lack of air conditioning—it was almost unbearably hot inside, which unfortunately took away from the overall experience. Service – 4/5 Our server was attentive, friendly, and handled everything smoothly despite the heat. She was clearly doing her best to provide good service in tough conditions, and it showed. Food – 4/5 Ogawa is well known for its sushi, and based on the buzz from others and what I saw around the dining room, it’s a big reason why people come here. While I’m not much of a sushi eater, I’m a fan of ramen—and their ramen did not disappoint. The mild chicken ramen was flavorful and satisfying. We also ordered the yakisoba (stir-fried noodles with vegetables and chicken), which was nicely done, and the spicy noodle bokkeum, a dish of thick noodles with chicken, vegetables, and a spicy sauce that definitely packs a punch. Between the heat from the dish and the temperature inside, I was sweating—but the flavor made it worth it. To start, we tried the fried pork and vegetable gyoza. They were just okay—crispy, but I’ve had better elsewhere. Not bad, but not a standout. Their menu offers a lot beyond sushi and ramen, including bento boxes, teriyaki dishes, and more—so even if sushi isn’t your thing, you’ll find something to enjoy. Parking Tip There are 2–3 spots out front, but the main parking area is located in the back, across the street from the rear of the building. It’s marked with a sign and provides plenty of space. Final Thoughts Despite the issue with the air conditioning, this is still a quality Japanese restaurant with great food, friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine—especially sushi or ramen—Ogawa is worth checking out.

My fiancé ordered a tiger eye roll (description on the website says "tiger eye roll- spicy tuna with mango and topped with eel sauce and mango sauce". What she received was not that (picture attached). We waited 15 minutes after the original pick up time (30 minutes after the order was placed), but they were slightly busy, so a little grace on that. When we called to ask about the roll, the employee who picked up the phone was not the kindest about the question. She said my fiancé got what she ordered and said that it is a fried roll (not mentioned on the menu). When questioned about the mango and the sauces, all she said is "yeah I mean they just didn't put that on there but for future reference, it is a deep fried roll". She offered to ask the chef to remake the roll "the way you want it" (the way it says on the menu, is all I wanted) and we could come pick it up, although we live 30 minutes away and had already waited longer than expected for the roll. Also, the sushi had fish on the top of the roll which was also not mentioned in the description. We also got yakisoba with beef and it had to be the blandest food we have ever tasted in our life. If you are looking for good sushi in a nice environment (or want your order to come the way it is described on the menu), do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here... Volcano is by far the superior place for sushi and it is just a one minute drive from Ogawa. (Not to mention the presentation of the sushi, even the to go sushi is superior at Volcano). EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the service and the food.

Amazing quality and presentation! The sushi and sashimi always taste fresh. I’ve had many different things here over the years. I know that the other dishes on the menu are prepared very well also. There is an assortment of Asian dishes. They also have lunch items and prices everyday until 3pm. Service is always excellent. Nice quiet atmosphere to relax or converse with others. It’s well worth a stop! Most of the parking is to the rear of the building in a little gravel parking lot. At the time of this posting they are now open 7 days a week.

Great food for a good price! Free miso soup as well. I did order a roll w mango even though it was out of season. My fault that the roll wasn’t the greatest, but the other I ordered was fantastic.

Just ordered takeout for the first time and was thoroughly disappointed. The restaurant itself was nice but I paid $18 and some change for chicken teriyaki and recieved some of the blandest food I’ve ever ate in my life. I’m truly not one to complain but for the price, I expect more than a small, barely covered boiled chicken breast with a side of six marinated broccoli pieces and a clump of hard, sticky rice. I’ve heard good things about this restaurant and would love to give it another chance, but for the price and food served I don’t see it in the future.

If I could I would give them more stars. Definitely best Japanese restaurant in WV. Everything was beyond delicious, presentation was great, and the service was just top, every waitress and waiter was very kind and attentive. Has definitely become a must stop every time we go through Morgantown

Food was disappointing, sushi wasn't fresh and didn't taste flavorful. We had high hopes because it has good reviews but we ordered the owaga sushi roll special and spicy california as well as 2 snoked salmon sushis and seemed they took FOREVER, plus when they finally came out the rolls had more rice than filling and the food appearance wasn't appealing. We both got upset stomach after eating there. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the staff was really nice and the place resembled a truly genuine Japanese restaurant.

We ordered 25 sweet barbecue wings and 50 hot buffalo wings. We went to pick them up and went inside the bar and I found it to be very friendly. It reminded me of the bar and chairs like everyone knows each other‘s names. Immediately someone sitting there Said hi and started joking with me. The hot wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. I had plenty of sauce on them with sauce in the bottom of the pan for dipping. Often when you get hot wings, they are dry. These were not at all. If I lived in that area, I would probably eat from there at least weekly!

This one of a kind atmosphere and old local charm can’t be beat! A long time neighborhood pub! Serving cold beer and Sangria’s in “fishbowls” along side great food and friendly smiles! A must stop for someone local or just visiting!

The food was unfortunately just average. The burger was dry and they were out of the A1 sauce it was supposed to come with. They subbed it with BBQ, which would have been fine had they added more than a spoonful. They were out of the sriracha honey lime sauce, so they subbed with sweet chili. It was neither that sweet nor that spicy. Likewise, the hot garlic was lacking in both heat and garlic. The meat itself was quality, at least. I will say that the mac and cheese as well as the queso dip were both above average and the service was friendly, helpful, and patient.

Classic dive food and ice cold drinks in a great atmosphere with great service. My friends and I love coming here to chat with the staff. Can’t beat the specials! Easily one of my favorite Morgantown spots.

This place should be on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Historical place where you can get a fishbowl beer, coldest in town, and food that is more than enough to share ☺️ and very reasonably priced. We WILL be back

Great food and cold drinks what more can you ask for! Their chips are amazing, you have to try them when you stop in. The only issue we had was there were a few spiders and flies on the back patio because there is a tree overhead. They probably could use a good exterminator but it wasn't a huge deal.

The lighting in the restaurant was not the best for pictures either. The pic of the tostadas was taken after I had eaten 1 shell. TLDR at bottom. My friend and I decided to give this place a try while in Morgantown for her hair appointment. I was so excited, I knew what I was going to order the day before. We showed up shortly after they opened and were told they were booked for 3 hours. After walking out pretty disappointed, one of the staff came out behind us and said that they did have 1 table open. A strong start. As far as attire, this restaurant has a dressier feel to it. I walked in with jeans and a tshirt and felt quite underdressed, but I personally don't let things like that get in the way of a good time. For appetizers, we ordered the Ramp Hummus and the Salt - Risen Bread Pan-Fried In Bacon Grease, Smoked Cherry Butter, Chicory Dust. Both appetizers were absolutely delicious. The flat bread that came with the hummus was perfectly crisp with a flavored salt and complimented the hummus wonderfully. The vegetables went ok with the hummus. The hummus itself had just the right amount of ramp flavor to it and I highly recommend it to any ramp lover! Our second appetizer certainly rivaled the first. The bread was fried perfectly and delicious. The cherry butter drizzled on top was absolutely amazing. I wish I would have asked if it was for purchase separate because I am still thinking about it several days later. I even tried some on the flatbread and veggies and it tasted just as good! Each piece of bread was topped with green onions and added a nice contrast to the other flavors. While the onions added a visual aesthetic, this would be just as good without them. For our entrees; my friend ordered the Prime Brazilian - Cut Loin Steak, while I chose the Smoked Blueberry & Barley Tostadas. My friend's steak was perfect. It was cooked beautifully and the Yucatan Spice Rub was delectable. The Avocado Butter left only one thing to be desired--more of it. Something about smoked blueberry just peaked my interest. After having the smoked cherry butter, I was beyond excited to try the tostadas. I can't tell you how disappointed I was. This tasted like a meal added to the menu because they "just need to have vegetarian options," and made me feel sorry for my non-meat eating friends (especially after trying my friend's steak.) Lack of meat shouldn't mean lack of flavor. I dated a guy who was on a raw diet and everything he made was delicious and flavorful, so there is no excuse. The blueberry/barley mixture came absolutely HEAPED on 3 tostada shells, with some pico de gallo, sprinkled with cheese, all sitting on a bed of greens. If one looks at the picture, one can tell how heaped it was. I had eaten 1 shell and the others aren't even visible. I tried each component separately and all together. The protien of the meal was just flat-out bad. I separated a blueberry out to try and it was not good either. The pico de gallo, however, was delicious and the cheese was good too. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Torte with Raspberry Coulis and my friend ordered the Apple Cobbler. My friend said she felt like she was playing it safe ordering a cobbler, but it was definitely worth it! I can honestly say it is one of the best cobblers I have had in a long time. My Chocolate Torte was also really good. I usually don't like foods that have that amount of chocolate flavor to them, but this torte was really, really good! The coulis was perfect and the whole plate would have been better (for me) if there had been more of it. TLDR: Pricey, business casual at the min. Ramp Hummus: BIG yes, especially for ramp lovers. Salt - Risen Bread Pan-Fried In Bacon Grease, Smoked Cherry Butter, Chicory Dust: My favorite of the evening! A gem in Morgantown. They welcome anyone, but appreciate reservations when possible. I went for the first time last night and cant wait to go again to further explore the menu and drink options. The restaurant utilizes West Virginia ingredients in the food and drinks. I went with the ramp martini which included pickled ramps for a unique and solid taste. For our food, we had the Brazilian steak and I had the elk meatloaf which was prepared in a cast iron skillet and tasted delicious. It was wonderful and the service was out of this world. Our desert consisted of creme brulee, peach rhubarb with vanilla ice cream, and cinnamon ice cream. Everything was delicious. We are definitely going back again.

My favorite place in the state for dinner. I have been several times and each time has been excellent. My go to is the Prime Brazilian cut loin steak but wouldn't hesitate to try anything on the menu. This is a true farm to table restaurant not only do they use local farms but a bunch of items come from the Chef's farm. The bartender Chet is very talented and knows the menu and restuarant very well and also makes some of the best drinks in town. If you are in Morgantown for dinner and don't give this place a try you are missing out.

We always have an excellent meal when we eat here. We attended their "Darkest night of the year" celebrating the Winter solstice. All food and drinks went with the dark theme, including the dark beers. We are looking forward to the next event!

You won’t find a better dining experience than Hill & Holler. I recommend getting one of Bartender Chet’s drinks. Chet is a true artist when is comes to mixing drinks.

I absolutely loved it here. My wife and I went for our anniversary and let me say we were exceedingly happy. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the service was kind. Not to mention, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very intimate. I do recommend the outdoor seating before it gets too cold!

We got married here and absolutely loved the venue. The staff, event location, food, everything was amazing! Two years later and our guests still tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been too. The food was fabulous and decorations were minimal bc the space decorates itself!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding experience that was hosted at Flour & Feed! Tyler and his staff were wonderful to work with. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The food was amazing and had our guests going back for more. The bar service was just as great! And Brittany Anne’s Events Coordinator pulled it all together, making it the perfect experience for all! We highly recommend this venue for your special day!

Absolutely wonderful and tasty brunch. We ordered the breakfast board and the candied bacon clothes line and they were delicious. There was enough food to feed 4 people which made it very reasonably priced. The service was good. I definitely would recommend this place and would come here again when in the area. The picture only had one piece of bacon left but it comes with 4.

We had a great experience at Morgantown Flour and Feed while in town to celebrate my daughter's 19th birthday. There 7 of us in our party and we received excellent service. We also enjoyed the food. It was the service though that earned the 5 stars. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. We also enjoyed the drinks.

The atmosphere and presentation was great! The service was just ok as the waitress seemed spread too thin. The bacon, sausage, and eggs were very good. The waffles were not good, tasted as if they had been refrigerated and not fresh. The French toast and pancakes were very good. The fruit was good as were the syrups. The meal would have been a perfect score if the waffles had been fresh.

Love the venue, service was excellent. Portion size was small for the eggs benedict (only one on the plate with an empty English muffin beside of it?), corn meal waffles were disappointingly dry even with syrup, the chicken tenders were excellent though. Fruit platter was fresh but again small portion size, the picture on the website to promote the fruit platter brunch item shows 3x as much fruit.

The food was delicious just messy. We both got a sandwich and end up having to use knife and fork but the bun couldn’t hold up. The drummies are soo good, tried Bruno style this time

Von Blaze’s ramen takeover night is the stuff of dreams! The amount of love and prep work that goes into it can be tasted in every bite. A Morgantown experience like no other! The flavors are married with meticulous care. Serotonin rushes and sense memories await, whether old or newly discovered. Their regular menu is nothing to sneeze at either. Whether it’s handcrafted bologna sandwiches or the crisp, refreshing divinity of their pickle salad, Von Blaze does not disappoint.

I don't know why there can't be more places like Von Blaze. The menu is inventive and everything we have eaten here has been exceptional. It is a hidden gem! I had to add to this review now that we have experienced the brunch. Our sisters were in from out of town for a class reunion and wanted to meet up before they left. I knew exactly where to go of course! If we are in Morgantown it is always Von Blaze that I choose. The brunch was exceptional. Kudos to the chef for bringing such great flavors together and always having options for those of us with dietary restrictions. I had the grits and greens with the house made sausage and egg. I saved enough for breakfast before work today. Soooo good, even reheated!! The girls loved their selections and said their classmates gave their thumbs up when they told them where we were going to dine.

Y'all. This food was delicious! The garlic parm fries...thank you for that, so good! The simple grilled cheese and tomato soup, is a nostalgic meal with amazing flavors. The ketchup, yup, good too! My husband had the Von Blaze and he thought it was great.

Good food. I had the Von Blaze burger. The other two in our party had The Dom and the special which was a sandwich with Ham and an apple BBQ glaze. Everything was very good. Everything is a la carte. We also got an order of garlic parm fries to go with everyone's sandwich. They had a strong flavor and were tasty. Only reason I gave four stars instead of five is they were out of the pork for the Pot Liquor Pork sandwich I wanted to try, which isn't ideal with a relatively small menu. Still, food was good and it's a good local place I'm glad we tried while in town for the day. Another small point of information that might be relevant to some people, the restroom is single-use at a time and used for both men and women.

grateful to pass through town and find a vegan option that’s not just a fake burger. we got the sloppy joe and the spicy fried tofu sandwich and went halfsies on both, honestly loved the tofu one more! they were both so good, the fries were great and we were stoked that they have a vegan chipotle aioli sauce for dipping options.

My partner ordered a burger and reported it was delicious, unfortunately the pork sandwich was less so. Very bitter from the collard greens and inconsistent on the apple jam atop it though the pork was juicy and tender. But the cheap hoagie roll is what ruined the sandwich. Fries were quite tasty though, would come back but only for the burger.

Much smaller than I thought it would be and more a warehouse type space for performing than a Theatre. Cute and quaint tho. Great for small, community shows.

I LOVE this place! The people are friendly, fun, and incredibly talented. For a date night, it's an intimate and affordable - as well as enjoyable - evening. They do several children's shows throughout​ the year that have been quite hilarious! This is a terrific group of local talent that is very much worth a look.

Hidden gem for culture and art in the area. Have been here many times and have not been disappointed with the level of performance from volunteer community theater actors. Great place for a date or looking for something different to do instead of the typical dinner and a movie. They have shows and events that are suitable for all age ranges.

One of the best groups of people I've ever experienced! They work tirelessly and without complaint to turn nothing into audience amazement. This is where community begins, the bedrock, and where dreams are brought to life, the limitless sky.

Such a great local theatre! We saw Hamlet and it was so good. The venue is intimate and has a bathroom and snacks offered at intermission.

It's a great place to start out if you've been wanting to act, but haven't found a welcoming outlet. They are here for the community... they are the community! Moved to 203 Parsons Street June 2016!

Cheap and reasonable prices for theatre tickets. The place is ran by volunteers and they all have a passion for what they are doing. It's a great opportunity joint for people with acting/writing careers or majors.

This is a place that cannot be disliked. It's quaint and comfortable to be in. The atmosphere was calm. The staff were very nice and great to interact with; very friendly. I had a simple slice of grilled chicken with tomato. The desserts are a big attraction. I chose a the Chocolate Chocolate cake (I think). It was as good as it gets and there's much more to try. Have fun.

We loved every single thing about this place! We would come back and visit the area just to come eat and interact with the super friendly staff here. The kitchen staff that came out was even friendly. The food is like eating Sunday dinner at grandma's house. We went once and didn't even look for anything else around us. Fantastic food and service, clean, comfortable, and fun. The staff work together and clearly enjoy being there. They worked together very well. I have a service dog in training, and they were accommodating and helpful. Thank you to everyone for the amazing experiences. They meant a lot to us.

I have wanted to stop here for so long and I’m glad I finally got the chance because this place is awesome! So many baked goods to choose from! I had a sunrise breakfast sandwich on a homemade biscuit with fried potatoes that was so good! I couldn’t resist ordering a chocolate chip cookie and I have to say it was one of the best I’ve ever had!!! The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back!

Great food, really nice atmosphere and friendly service! Everything is made fresh and delicious with very large portions. Huge selection of house made cookies, cakes, cupcakes and pies. Update: I ordered a custom birthday cake and asked that they use Disney’s Cinderella castle/Cinderella as kind of an artistic direction and they nailed it. Colors were perfect and even had the pearls. Looked amazing and tasted amazing! Extremely reasonable price. I would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved this restaurant!!! The food was amazing! So many great sandwiches and entrees. And the desserts!!! A huge variety of cakes and cupcakes. A cornucopia of cookies!! It's really cute and cozy. I love the fact that they use Fiestaware, made in West Virginia. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had the Salisbury steak and chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Both were very good. Bakery pies ,cheesecake, cookies, cakes, cupcakes are all excellent choices. Prices are reasonable, large servings.

My family and I found this place on google after spending the day in the woods at Cooper's Rock. I was so excited to try it, I had my hopes set high. Everything was amazing! The atmosphere had a comforting, home-like feeling. The service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, and it was superb! My husband ordered the country fried steak, he said it was very good. At one point he said, of the whole experience, "This is exactly what I needed and didn't even know it." Even my kids seemed to enjoy their food. And of course, we didn't leave without a sweet treat. Everything looked so divine and delicious it was hard to choose. I ended up ordering a chocolate chip pancake cupcake, which was extraordinary. My husband had the lemon meringue pie, which he said was fabulous. We are all so pleased with our experience and I've already told my family and friends about it! I look forward to a return visit!

I have done many escape rooms, and this one was BY FAR my favorite. We did Tut with 3 people, and escaped - but most importantly - had a BLAST! The game master made it even more fun. He was great!

We've done 3 of the 4 of these rooms over the past year and a half. Each one unique and challenging. The range and complexity of the puzzles is impressive. Tougher to complete when you bring a child with you ... But that's our fault. Will be back for a date night to finish out the rooms. Thank you!!!

Xscape was an incredible experience! I took my fiancé and my parents. My parents drove in from Indiana and I was looking for something to do on a Friday night. Going to Xscape was a fun way to get everyone involved. We are all very competitive and the “Estate” room really challenged us. I would recommend to any group or couple wanting something interactive to do for an evening! The staff was extremely supportive. We had Ben and he was a great host!

My sisters and I celebrate each other’s 50th with surprise activities. We always include an escape room. We all agreed that this is our favorite! Great room. Lots of puzzles so everyone can contribute!

Me and my family went for our second time here to play The Estate (first game was Capone) both experiences were fantastic!! I would recommend Xscape to anyone regardless on if you have done an escape room before or not. The staff is friendly and fun, and the game masters that we’ve had I believe gave great balance on clues to where it was still fun/engaging and challenging without compromise of the solution to the puzzles. I reserved the Estate Room for a work / team building event. It was fun, brought everyone together and appropriate for all ages. There are not many options for family’s, where the parents will enjoy the activity as much as the kids would. This is that option! I would definitely recommend!

Our inaugural escape room experience proved to be highly enjoyable. Despite our failure to locate Tut, the overall experience was exceptionally positive. We extend our gratitude to Ben, our game master, for facilitating this engaging activity.

One of my favorite local parks since I was a child. When my siblings and I were young children, our dad would gather us for a hike, at the "tank field" which is now White Park. White Park used to house huge oil tanks, some of which were still there when I was a child. We used to joke that whichever child had the newest "tennis shoes" would manage to accidentally step into an oily sludge. As you walk through White Park today you can still see some of the round containment berms that helped to contain some oil leakage from the tanks. A lot of lost history. This was an important storage facility and tied into the Eureka Pipeline. I can remember my parents and uncle talking about one of the tanks burning after being struck by lightning. I've often thought the water reservoir was probably the site of an old grist mill, but have never found any written history. At one of the roads leading to the park is a house with several stone grist mill wheels. I could go on with my history, but I'll leave it as White Park is a great place to walk or bike, especially with a group of friends, as the main path through the park is wide.

The waterfall hike is very quick and easy. Getting down to the bottom can be a little tricky if it's wet as the path is a little steep. Tons of roots and rocks to help with balance, though. After large amounts of rain, a second waterfall can be seen and accessed through the creek. Gorgeous! The other trails are also nice and well-maintained.

White park is pretty cool place to take a walk. Especially w a dog or two. Park near the ice rink and pick a trail. Great place to bring the mountain bike many trails and jumps good for all skill levels. So softball, fishing, hiking, ice skating, dog walking, picnic areas...worth an evening for sure!

Excellent city park. Beautiful wide trails with limestone surfaces meandering through the woods. Nice area with water falls in the area somewhat near the car dealerships. Lots of rec facilities like baseball fields and basketball courts in central area of park.

Nice park with great parking, there's a bunch of parking and trails to explore. The bathrooms could be rentavated and maybe add more. Great park

Nice hiking trails. A little difficult to follow some of the trails because of lack of signs in some places. The waterfall is beautiful!

Beautiful place for a bridal shower. Benjamin and Ruby did a fantastic job, easy to work with, answered and/or returned calls promptly.

Ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwiches to go. They weren’t quite ready when I arrived, which was fine; however, both sandwiches were cold, there was absolutely no sauce on either one, tomato was way under ripe and green, there was no red onion (they used raw yellow onion instead) and the lettuce was literally rotten. The fries were hot which means the sandwiches were done before the fries, that was the only good part. There was not much effort in making things right, just a simple refund. This was the second time in a row that our meal was sub-par, thought last time was just an “off” day but they had used super mushy shoestring fries that were dripping wet, no onion, crappy tomato and greens, and a plain old potato bun. This place has been inconsistent and definitely not worth the premium price they are charging.

This dinner was our 3rd time dining at Marilyn’s and it’s gotten better each time! I was just traveling for work and hit a few James Beard nominee restaurants on the west coast and the dinner we had at Marilyn’s last week was comparable. Kudos to the chef and kitchen! The first visit was the menu was from August 2021 and the table enjoyed the salmon burger and lots of pasta options. The second visit was a winter menu from Feb 2022 and we had the salmon, pasta, lemon chicken, and halibut. The most recent trip was July 2022 menu and our favorite yet. The live music made for a fun atmosphere. Management puts a lot of details into the space and it has always been clean. Our server was fantastic; super quick with service, provided great recommendations, very personable. The food was top notch quality, huge portions (we ate the meal 2x with leftovers), GREAT craft beer and wine selection, and the desserts are also to die for. We have been in Morgantown for almost 15 years and this has become our top 3 favorite local restaurant.

This as the first time I have been here and this def won’t be the last. Kate our server was the best!!!! But not only was the service. Amazing but the food was delicious!!!! I really can’t wait to go back and try more of the items on the menu. They have everything from sandwiches to steaks and seafood but the homemade pasta dishes are amazing!!!!! You must try this place and sit in the bar area with Kate she’s so knowledgeable about all the food and she won’t steer you wrong.

I was able to eat at Marilyn's for lunch today! The food was absolutely amazing. House made potato chips were so fresh, the 1/4 lbs hot dogs were amazing with the house made chili was sooo good. Also had some sort of their version of an Italian hoagie which so to die for the fresh meats and two different types of cheese really made this sandwich. On top of that the bread was fresh and just perfect. This experience was amazing, Robert our waiter made sure we had everything we needed to have the best lunch! Definitely recommend Marilyn's for lunch any day of the week! 10/10

Fantastic food! Suggest getting a reservation but make sure you select the right location. Try the vanilla old fashion! Halibut was perfectly done and delicious! The shrimp and scallops was popping with flavor!

Online menu is out of date. Food was good the 3 of us rated the food a 8/10. Focaccia bread was delicious 9.5/10. Spent $240 for 3 people. French onion soup was sub par. Chocolate cake was good.

Nice park for being in a larger city. Has lots of different amenities Tennis/Basketball courts, skate park, pool, playgrounds, hiking, pavilions and picnic areas. All for free or low cost. The playground has plenty of shade, sun, space and nature. My kids and I are a little bummed that the larger upper park was removed for the construction of the new pool but it's still a nice park.

Love this park. It is small, though. Hopefully it gets a spruce up after the splash pad/pool area is done.

We go every week just for a lunch break with the family. Its always clean and beautiful. The picnic tables are very large to accommodate a big group. If you're quiet enough the squirrels with have lunch with you ❤

Good Tennis Courts - They aren't even mentioned in the description, but Marilla has 6 tennis courts in good condition with good nets. The tensions are sometimes too high and a few tie-downs are missing, but the surfaces are flat. Usually not crowded except when high schools hold practice there. And Free... Did I mention Free ?!?

Tiny little airport with no public transit options aside from Uber/Lyft. I arrived for an evening flight that was later rescheduled for the morning. Virtually no one was around to answer questions when the first flight was cancelled. Also, the restaurant was closed both of the times I was there.

Very small town airport. Ben was very nice and professional checking us in, and our flight was delayed 8 hours. My issue was with TSA. I checked my bag, and it wasn't until I got to my destination that I realized that whoever inspected my bag didn't know how to close it properly and damaged my suitcase. Not very happy about that at all. Never had an issue at any other airport, but this one. I will think twice before flying out of this one, especially if I have to check bags.

Flying Delta today I watched “Collin” work to guide our plane to the gate after it landed, he was our gate agent, wheeled a passenger to our flight, and cleared standby passengers. Doing multiple jobs like this can test people’s patience, but, Collin did all this with a great attitude & an obvious superior work ethic.

I guess one shouldn't have too high expectations for a small town airport and I appreciate the fact that there are now United flights to Chicago and Dulles, but.... the airport doesn't have very much seating for passengers waiting for flights. I remember reading in the paper that over the years, the City received multiple grants to expand the airport - but how did they use those funds.. There are multiple unused hallways, offices, and a resteraunt that is not open when flights arrive and depart offices, but somehow they couldn't manage to include seating for passengers!

Having United Airlines (SkyWest) come to Morgantown has been a game-changer for my work travel. I no longer have to drive to Pittsburgh, wait for weeks for parking and toll reimbursements and I don’t have to drive an hour and a half to get to the airport. Sure, connections are inevitable flying out of a small airport, but even with added travel time/layovers it’s almost the same when you factor in the need to arrive very early for weekday TSA and Parking at PIT.

Super cool experience on a mini plane. Clean bathroom, quick transit, friendly and helpful ground crew. They even offer complimentary bottled water after the security check!

Down-home, and growing! GA is coming alive again and the airport management seems ready to build GA and other opportunities at the airfield. But while an extension is underway, and an industrial park seems to be coming, keeping line crews appears to be a challenge! The grounds are not being mowed, The bathrooms, while clean, are not being regularly cleaned and stocked. It is difficult to find and keep good workers especially who can pass federal random drug testing, but it can be accomplished in an environment where workers are appreciated and compensated well. I hope the management finds ways to continue good growth and to encourage a welcoming, well-served airport.

This is a wonderful place for biking, running, walking, fishing, and adventuring! I definitely recommend you visit and bet you will be back!

Nice flat trail to bike, run, roller blade, skateboard, or dog walk with beautiful scenary. The lower section has been recently blacktopped and is easy to access from heritage park and other locations. There are dog wast trash bags and cans every so often.

Great central location to hit the biking trails! I like that my GF and I can go there together and have the flexibility to bike together a bit, then I can head up Decker Creek to get in 19 miles up, then still meet back for food, or she could pick me up along the trail if we need to save some time. Lots of options!

Reality nice visitors center, puerile working there were friendly & kind. Not sure if it's just being on the river, but there is absolutely a musty/mildewy/moldy smell in the building. Not sure how it doesn't bother them, definitely allergy aggravating.

Amazing people here! We were happy enough to have great tour guides on our last visit (Sarah + Kayla). They were super enthusiastic, funny, entertaining, and very informative throughout our entire tour of WVU. With regards to the Visitors Center as a whole, the entire team over there was super helpful with booking department visits within WVU. I managed to visit a ton of departments while we were there, and we were happy to meet with these many department advisors on our visit that helped us see the best department possible that meet our interests and desires. Thank you for the excellent tour Sarah and Kayla, and thank you to the team at the Visitors Center who provided the greatest service ever! Hope to come back again, maybe next time once I get accepted into WVU!

We liked the wheeling market location. The visitor center was clean in an interesting building. They have a nice price range of items for sale and had a friendly staff who wrapped your guys. They also had a special program when we were there educating anyone who wanted to listen.

The WV Public Theater has great shows here! We love the experimental theater is such a great, different venue. I look forward to seeing many more shows here.

I'm more a performer than audience, but I've like this place from both sides of the stage. Parking is strange on campus but ignoring the signs at night is vital sometimes to find a place.

Great little gift shop tucked away on a side street. The building is historic, the goods are decorative, cute and different. And the staff is friendly and welcoming - well worth a trip! And to make it even better, a portion of the proceeds go towards a good cause.

I love the Old Stone House! The volunteer employees are always so kind & helpful! It's a great place to buy a gift for someone or something for yourself! They have an awesome wooden WV ornament I like to buy as a gift for friends. Plus, they donate to charities! Amazing!

Everything is sold as a benefit for different charitable organization. Great group of ladies and if you feel intimidated just talk to them. They will happily share where the money they raise is going and if you aren't from the area will give you tips on restaurants and other activities. Lovely establishment.

This place is a diamond in the rough, perfect place to find small, unique gifts and curios with an always-friendly and helpful staff. Prices vary but are generally a steal for what you can find. Parking shouldn’t be an issue either - it is close to the garage and several lots.

Awesome locally made glassware and other trinkets. A great place to shop for gifts.
