American restaurant
Restaurant
Located in Lincoln, New Hampshire, The Common Man Lincoln is a relaxed American chain restaurant housed in charming old-timey quarters with rustic accents and a bar. The menu offers a variety of options including prime rib, homemade baked macaroni and cheese, and famous crab cakes. The restaurant has received recognition for its community efforts on both local and national levels. Additionally, outdoor seating is available for guests to enjoy their meals.
We usually stop at the Common Man whenever we visit Lincoln, NH. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. The food is tasty and comforting. Cozy ambiance. Cheese and crackers table and warm breads (savory and sweet) basket are nice touches and make this restaurant stands out from others. There are several vegetarian options available, which is nice. 😊 During off/shoulder season, it’s easy to find parking and either no wait or short wait time. During peak season, this restaurant can get very busy. We had to leave once due to no parking during high season. When we do get in, it’s always been a very nice dining experience.

Loved eating here! We had the salmon and the sweet corn bacon ravioli, both absolutely delicious. They have cheese and crackers and an assortment of breads, all complimentary. The wait is long and we had to wait for 45 minutes but thats because this place is hugely popular. Our first experience and it did not disappoint....our server was excellent too! We will back whenever in the area again.

After a full day of exploring the Kancamagus Highway—hiking, chasing waterfalls, and pretending we were in a travel commercial—I was ready for one thing: a good cocktail. We ended up at The Common Man, and it turned out to be a very uncommon treat. They kick things off with whimsical little offerings of creamy cheese and crackers, which instantly won me over. My potato chip–crusted haddock was fantastic—perfectly cooked and just the right amount of crunch to make me wonder why we’re not coating everything in potato chips. My cocktail, crafted by our lovely server, was so good I rewarded myself with a second round (self-care, right?). We closed with a brownie à la mode that officially ended the day on a high note—decadent, warm, and worth every step we took earlier to “earn” it. Now, about the host… let’s just say he might’ve missed the “common courtesy” part of the name. Our first impression was rocky—borderline rude, actually—and we almost left. But I’m so glad we didn’t, because our server completely redeemed the night with her humor, warmth, and top-notch service. Bottom line: skip the attitude at the door, stay for the cocktails, the haddock, and the hospitality that kicks in once you’re seated.

We stopped here while staying in NH for a long weekend. There was about a 20 min wait on Saturday night but plenty of spots to wait inside. It was warm and cozy with a cool atmosphere. We we’re seated upstairs, above the fireplace where we could see over the restaurant area downstairs. The waiter was wonderful!! Very personable and attentive and did not rush us at all! I loved how comfortable it was. We had time to sit down, enjoy our drinks, our meals and the inviting dining area. I ordered the steak tips which were quite tough, and the sides were just ok. However, the burger w/ mac and cheese was yummy and cooked perfectly. We will definitely come back when in the area again. I would most likely order something simple next time like chicken pot pie or one of the burgers. They seem to have great reviews on those comfort foods. Would recommend!!

Went to The Common Man for a quick dinner. My daughter and I got seated right away and was greeted by our server. We have a drink order and placed an appetizer. We helped ourselves to the bread, cheese and crackers all complimentry. We placed our dinner order and our dinner came within 10 minutes. Steak tips with onion and pepper, mashed potatoes and broccoli. So yummy and cooked exactly how we ordered them. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. We dug into our steak so fast that I didn't take a picture. Just the arancini appetizer.
Linda S — Google review
didn’t see this on any reels so almost missed it. It most definitely deserves all the hype. The portions are huge & SO yummy. They had a large variety of food on the menu and everything sounded so good! The atmosphere was perfect for a rustic small town in the white mountains. I will definitely come back one day. The service was also great.

Service is okay, just adequate. Reservation strongly recommended. Everyone else’s food was good. Mine (baked scallops) was not. It had a strong scent of laundry detergent. Dinner 2025/10/06.

Great place!!! Friendly staff. There were questions about the food, but thanks to the staff they were resolved! The manager went out of his way to make our vacation a success! And the waiter G2 is just incredibly professional in his work! So I highly recommend it!

Steak house
Gordi's Fish & Steak House is a relaxed American restaurant and bar with a charming patio and cozy interiors adorned with ski-themed decor. Visitors can expect warm greetings and spacious seating, making it convenient for groups. The menu offers a variety of options, from the Balsamic Chicken Caprese sandwich to spinach artichoke dip, seafood trio, meatloaf, and chicken parm. The accommodating staff gladly takes reservations and caters to large parties while ensuring comfortable spacing between tables.
Delicious food, generous portions, and an overall amazing experience! We truly enjoyed the clam chowder, Caesar salad, pasta, and steak with scallops—everything was flavorful and well-prepared. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself had a charming, historic ambiance that made the visit even more special.

A perfect dinner during our White Mountains trip. We went on a Thursday evening and waited about 40 minutes—but it was totally worth it. The Grilled Rib Eye was huge, served with a flavorful pat of butter on top. The side dish was a whole roasted sweet potato, which was soft and naturally sweet. We also ordered a fried seafood platter, which came with crispy scallops, shrimp, clams, and fish, paired with garlic mashed potatoesso tasty! The service was outstanding. Our server Anne was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She suggested toppings and pairings and clearly had a genuine love for the place. We’re already thinking of coming back again during this trip.
Stella Z — Google review
Very good food, atmosphere, and service. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. A great American restaurant. Really good location, easy to get to and the scenery is spectacular.
Diesse D — Google review
We asked people in Lincoln where was good to go for a steak. They all said the same thing - Try Gordi's. They weren't wrong! The 14oz ribeye was UNBELIEVABLE and the staff were incredibly attentive from finding us a table on a busy Saturday evening on Labor Day Weekend to the service they provided. If you read any mediocre reviews about this place, just ignore them, honestly, it was great food, great service and original and eclectic sports bar interiors ( none of that fake nonsense). Oh yes, my son described his steak as the best he'd ever eaten !
Heath H — Google review
Do not be fooled by the good reviews—we were. We went for dinner based on all the glowing praise and ended up waiting an hour for a table. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t worth it. The prime rib was bland and flavorless, the clam chowder was watery, and their so-called “award-winning” portobello mushrooms were a total miss. Honestly, I’d love to know who gave them that award. Both the stuffed and baked haddock were dry and forgettable. The only thing that was even remotely decent was the pork ribeye—it was cooked well and had some actual flavor. But one decent dish doesn’t make up for an otherwise disappointing meal. If you’re looking for great seafood or steak in the area, I’d keep looking, or cook your own.
Ben C — Google review
Food was really good here. Had the Filet Mignon and Lobster! Good. Wife had the Ribeye which was excellent! Had a Maple Old Fashioned! Awesome! Our Waiter Nikola was great! Spacious restaurant with plenty of TV’s. Great place!
Thomas C — Google review
Great food and service was excelent. We had the fish and chips, rack of ribs BBQ, and a well seasoned steak pork with baked potato accompanied with calabresa salads.
Desi M — Google review
Prime rib dinner was cooked perfectly. The Spiced Pear Mule was very tasty! Topped this all off with slice of apple pie. We arrived just as they were opening for the day so we were seated quickly. Atmosphere at this time was quiet which was nice. Our waitress was attentive, complimentary and very kind. Very nice evening out!

Hamburger restaurant
Restaurant
Black Mountain Burger Co. is a local burger joint with a relaxed atmosphere that offers creatively crafted, homemade burgers and comfort food. The wait times can be a bit long during peak hours, but the delicious food and friendly service make it worth it. The veggie burger stands out with its flavorful portobello mushroom patty, setting it apart from others. Additionally, the restaurant features a great patio where dogs are welcome, making it an ideal spot for pet owners to enjoy a meal.
Stopped at Black Mountain Burger after a hike in the area and was pleasantly surprised. They have a decent beer menu with local options both on draft and canned. The food all sounded amazing, but I went with the Hot Honey Chicken Wrap. The wrap was amazing. The chicken was crispy and flavorful and the wrap was a good size. I got a side of the Cajun dusted fries and they were so delicious. Will be back to this spot to try a burger.

It was a busy Sunday night so we did have a 15-20 minute wait for a table. We ordered buffalo mac n cheese balls, which was a great choice! They were huge and tasty! The ranch dressing is so good and I'm very particular about ranch dressings, so believe me when I tell you it was perfect! My husband got the pepper jack cheeseburger, which wasn't too spicy. It was a big portion and had a very nice charred flavor and cooked just as he ordered it. I had the bacon corn chowder, very good, a little sweet, but the smokiness of the bacon made it work. Only "complaint" was the side of onion rings. They could have been cooked a couple of minutes longer. The server was very, very pleasant and sweet. She did check in with us a couple of times after we had our food. We plan to stop in once more before leaving town.
Saundra C — Google review
The burgers here are outstanding! Also some of the best French fries around! Great food brings tons of customers and therefore in a lot of cases slow service as waitstaff have a hard time keeping up. Just be mindful of this and arrive before you are completely starving and haven't the patience for a possible lengthy wait. It is definitely worth waiting for without a doubt.

Myself & a couple friends were staying in Lincoln for the night & the hotel clerk recommended we dine at Black Mountain Burger. Never one to pass on a restaurant recommendation, we decided to give it a try. I started off with a bowl of their amazing Chili. Our meals were Mushroom & Swiss Buger with Cajun Fries, Bison Burger, Bison Burger with Onion Rings. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly. Our lovely server was Sydney C. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart. She took great care of us. If you are ever in the Lincoln New Hampshire area, I highly recommend you go to Black Mountain Burger. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Sydney....

Stopped by on a Friday night and, despite the crowd, we were seated right away. It took a little while for the waitress to arrive, but she apologized for the delay and took our order. When the burgers came out, I was pleasantly surprised—they were excellent. The bacon jam added a great touch, and the burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were OK. Nice atmosphere with a buzz about it. Overall, a good spot for a casual bite. Worth stopping in.
Peter D — Google review
We arrived a little late for a quick bite to eat. We both ordered the classic. Mine was perfect husbands was overcooked. Our server Sydni was awesome! Immediately offered to recook or comp. He opted for a recook and before long another was out cooked as ordered. Fries were hot and crispy when arrived. We were sat at a very small table outside - not my preference but so busy no other options. Want to compliment our server Sydni, she was friendly and so responsive. Heard her talking with a neighbors table about gluten allergy and she asked the knowledgeable questions to make sure he wasn’t compromised. She’s an asset to the company!

Great place to stop after a long day! Menu had great variety. Couldn’t decide on what to get so I shared something with my mom. She got the hot honey chicken tender wrap & subed for onion rings. So delicious and whatever sauce they put on the side is incredible! I tried the sweet potato burger which was so delicious! The lemon sauce was also a great addition. Would definitely be back if I’m up in this area again. (Pictures of all our food)

This was our first time here and the food was amazing. The atmosphere is chill. The food came out quickly and was delicious, the server was very sweet. The fries were incredible. Burger was cooked to perfection and the jalapeño poppers were perfect.

Restaurant
La Vista Italian Restaurant is an upscale-casual dining spot known for its wood-fired pizzas and cocktails. The spacious interior includes a patio, offering a stunning view outside. Guests have praised the fresh and delicious food, with highlights including grilled octopus over lemon risotto and chicken marsala with three different mushrooms. The restaurant also offers takeout options, making it convenient for those on the go. Additionally, visitors have commended the fair prices and excellent service provided by friendly staff members.
We hosted a birthday party for my mother's 87th birthday last evening. There were 20 of us on a very busy night. Our server, Milica, was outstanding. Our drinks arrived in a timely manner, the food was exceptional and hot, the music playing in the background was at a perfect volume that it enhanced the experience rather than detract. The restaurant manager, Brad, checked on the party often, and lent support where needed. A wonderful experience my mom won't forget.
Debi L — Google review
I recently dined at La Vista Italian Restaurant and really enjoyed the warm and inviting ambiance inside. We tried a variety of drinks—Pistachio Martini, Lemon Drop Martini, Clever Lemonade, and Hot & Dirty Martini. While most of the drinks were excellent, I wouldn’t recommend the Hot & Dirty Martini. For dinner, I ordered the Fettucini Alfredo with grilled shrimp and veggies. The pasta was delicious, but I was a bit disappointed by the quantity of shrimp, especially for the additional $12. However, the highlight was definitely the complimentary homemade bread, which was fresh and flavorful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with great food and drinks (mostly), and I’d be happy to return
Akshata K — Google review
LaVista is gorgeous but the service was extremely disappointing. Party of 5 they accommodated us with a beautiful outdoor view with in 10 mins. We got our drinks ordered our food and we waited.. and waited after about 30 mins we got some bread/ oil (most of the oil was spilt on the table and didn't get refilled). 6 small squares of bread for 5 people so when I seen the waitress I was going to ask for more.. she never came I was about to walk out the door when finally she comes over after an hour an tells us I am soooo sorry we are so busy (which was true) and that she just spoke with the kitchen and food was coming right out. Great we thought until we waited and waited some more while other people were being seated and fed. After almost 2 hours we get our food!! It was cold, pasta was hard chicken parm was thick, and no crisp to it. Steak bland, unseasoned. Disappointing!! The manager comes over and asks how was everything I told him honestly disappointing he apologized and said it was busy which I understand to a point. When I tried to explain it wasn't okay others got seated after and food before us he said it was because we ordered a steak...( I guess it takes 2 hours to cook a steak to medium now a days who knew!) He said he could give us a comp. Dessert, I just wanted to leave so I declined and when I did he proceeded to keep making excuses and hoped id be back i told him absolutely not. A 2 hour wait for food that sucked at $33 and up a plate no. Pretty disappointing considering the place is beautiful with a gorgeous view. Would not recommend!!
Katelyn J — Google review
I had a reservation here and honestly, the service was a big disappointment. After being seated, the waitress poured water, dropped bread with olive oil, and then vanished for almost 20 minutes. I kept looking around but she was nowhere to be found. Strangely, she took orders from another table while I was sitting there with my menu closed, clearly ready to order. Everything was painfully slow — waiting to order, waiting for drinks, waiting for food. The food itself was tasty, but the drinks were just average. And even when it came time to pay, it took awhile I understand the place can get busy, but this was beyond acceptable. With better planning and more attention to customers, the experience could have been much better
P A — Google review
We had breakfast here during summer vacation. Beautiful dinning room with the view of loon mountain. Not crowded at all. Service was a bit slow but food were good. Price is very reasonable for breakfast.
An C — Google review
Service was fast and with a smile. Super busy, recommend reservations, although we had them and they couldn't find them. They did honor the confirmation text I had and fit us right in. Didn't realize it was actually a hotel restaurant until we're arrived, so parking is shared with the hotel. Was disappointed because what was on the online menu wasn't available. We ended up getting the margarita pizza with gluten free crust which was rather flavorless. And the bolognese which was simply okay.

So I'll start by saying it was a rainy evening and my family and I were in the mood for Italian food. We found LA Vista Italian Restaurant. The pictures looked good, and the reviews looked good. So off we went, right around 5pm, so it was still on the early side when we arrived. We waited to speak with someone and overheard the people ahead of us mention reservations. Once an older lady acknowledged us and we stated we didn't have a reservation but would wait for a table for five. She then rolled her eyes and said she only had seating for five outside. She stated it was under cover. We humored the idea since the whole family wanted Italian. The kids 4, 6, and 8 all said it was too cold. The hostess that was showing us the outside area saw how disappointed the kids' faces looked and offered us a spot at the pizza bar. The kids' faces lit up with excitement, and from then on, we all had a blast. The man making the pizzas was fun for the kids to talk to and made the overall experience a pleasant one. The food was good and so was to wood fire pizzas. The kids left happy, but my wife and I left with a salty taste in our mouths since not a single person, couple, or party was ever seated outside on the cold rains deck. The old lady hostess or whatever she was. She must be an owner because someone in that position would have been fired with people skills like that. Especially being in the service industry. Not only is it a negative look on the restaurant. The restaurant is part of located inside a timeshare resort, which will never purchase based on the services rendered at this restaurant. All and all. Good food and mostly good people. Your experience may be a lot better, but we'll never be back after being treated as a third class citizen. 🤷🏽‍♂️
Joey D — Google review
Service was absolutely horrible. My daughter and I decided do go out for dinner this evening and saw that this restaurant had some good reviews, but after we were seated, our server came to us around half an hour later, claiming that she “didn’t see us” even though I tried to get their attention multiple times. My daughter also noticed that many people that had come after us had gotten served first. Specifically people that were not of different color or race. When our appetizer arrived (which was around another half hour later), I had realized that many people got free bread without any hesitation while we were ignored with some waiters/waitresses walking past just glancing at us or ignoring us completely. When one waitress finally noticed us, she had an annoyed expression and asked us what was wrong. She then said that the bread was free, they hadn’t noticed us, and that they were out of stock for now and they were baking more, ( which would probably be in another half an hour from our experience). This entire ordeal just did not make sense to me. We literally just saw the table next to ours get free bread even though they had come at least 15 minutes after us. And, although they said that baking the bread would take some time, someone walked out with bread and put it on our table minutes later! When we decided that we had enough, the manager had offered to pay for our meal as a desperate and seemingly pathetic way to make sure that we didn’t leave. We had declined the offer and that experience left us extremely disappointed and frustrated. My recommendation is just to not come here. If you want Italian food, go to Olive Garden or Cheesecake Factory for all I care. They serve you better there, heck, even McDonald’s serves you better. I wish I could give this zero stars.

Gypsy Cafe is a vibrant and artsy eatery with a diverse international menu, offering a cozy dining experience both indoors and on the patio. The restaurant is known for its colorful decor adorned with artwork. It's recommended for lunch or dinner, featuring dishes like butternut squash ravioli, Lobster Fra Diablo, fried brussel sprouts, grilled cheese fondue, cashew asparagus dish, and chicken souvlaki.
Everything was great at Gypsy Cafe !!!!!! The dinner was excellent with perfect portions. Most desserts are made in house. The tables are designed and made by the owner/chef. Most of the rest of the artwork is done by him, if not him, then other local artists. The staff were amazingly nice and you could tell they were genuine. We loved it so much and will be back next time we’re in the area. By far the best place we ate while on our vacation!

The food was really really great. Their drinks were great too. The price was appropriate for the quantity they gave. Highly recommended the curry wings and Mexican cauliflower and corn. The dessert was delicious we ordered chocolate trifle to die and went for a round two.

Perfect moment of serendipity. My friend and I had every intention of going over to base camp brewing Company, but it was closed so we stopped into this beautiful little place and had such a pleasant experience. The dill cucumber dip in the mezza platter was absolutely to die for, and their cocktails were made in a way that tasted super fresh. we later learned that they used real fruit purées, which is super awesome. The mosaic tiles all over the restaurant were absolutely adorable and the menu was a little all over the place kind of like a gypsy themselves -choosing items from all over the world. Long story short this place has an option for probably everyone and you should totally check it out if you’re in the area.

Nice venue. Offering a pleasant ambiance over the years and tasty meals from around the world. Fresh ingredients with just the right amount of spices/herbes. The restaurant is located a few steps above ground level. Once in the restaurant, the tables, car and restrooma are on the same floor. Best to call ahead to reserve a table as the restaurant is popular and has limited seating. A few parking spots are available on the side of the restaurant.

Quite honestly one of the best restaurants in the state! We sat at the bar and had the Egyptian Brussel Sprouts, Navajo Pumpkin Pasta, Korean BBQ stir fry, and pumpkin cumble. Everything was absolutely delicious. Laura at the bar and all of the staff are wonderful too! Beyond being super friendly, they were super helpful with my allergy. No trip to Lincoln is complete without a stop at Gypsy. This is an amazing spot for extremely high quality, creative and reasonably priced meals.

We always gravitate to the Gypsy Cafe whenever we visit the White Mountains area! Nice menu and well-prepared meals. Indoor and outdoor seating (we prefer indoors most of the time). Falafel and mezze plates are very good. Friendly server staff.

Food is fantastic!!! They have excellent gluten-free options, and the desserts are delicious—though the price feels very high for such a small portion. We had flan and mango cake. The first time we visited, service was wonderful. An older lady was kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. However, when we returned the next day, the service was disappointing. The waiter lady kept walking past our table while attending to others but didn’t stop by us at all. We really needed extra spoons and eventually had to walk up and ask someone else.

Flapjacks Pancake House is a charming breakfast spot with a rustic ambiance that offers an array of classic and specialty pancakes, French toast, and omelettes. It's renowned for its delicious buttermilk pancakes and daily specials like cinnamon bun flapjacks. The restaurant is popular among families, with the 'baby bear' breakfast designed for kids and a small train circling the ceiling to keep them entertained.
Flapjacks is a must visit breakfast place in Lincoln, NJ. I had some Reese’s peanut butter cup pancakes that were delicious. Fluffy and just perfect! My husband had the eggs Benedict with shaved beef on it. He said it was delicious and everything about it was perfect! I forget what my brother in law and sister in law had but they were very happy too. There was a half hour wait on a Sunday morning but well worth it. Food, atmosphere and service are all 5 star! Go!

OKAYYY, let’s jump into it! So the pancakes were amazing! Your boy got the blueberry and My Love got the French toast. Our server was knowledgeable and very polite to our group. We loved their train setup! It would go around the whole restaurant which was cute watching the kids run around looking for it. Would definitely recommend going around opening time because there is guaranteed a line out the door!

Flapjacks Pancake House is a must go!! It’s first come, first serve. The line moves fast! We sat at the bar which was a pleasant experience. Our server Del was friendly, funny, and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the #1: One local farm fresh egg: scrambled, sausage, potatoes, and rye toast. The home fried potatoes with sautéd onions were very delicious. We both orderer flapjacks. I got one blueberry and Mike got three stacked chocolate chip flapjacks. They were light, fluffy, topped with delicious cinnamon sugar butter with local maple syrup! Mike also ordered a breakfast sandwich on wheat toast. The bacon was thin, crispy, and sweet. Highly recommend stopping by Flapjacks Pancake House if you're in the mood for breakfast in Lincoln. Be prepared to wait in line, but I promise it's worth it. The pancakes were delicious and the interior of the restaurant is fun and cozy. Reasonably priced too!

Our waiter was amazing ( forgot his name). First time while visiting the area, and my son had a bite of his pancake and immediately had to honor the chef. Great place, train came around during our visit.

Food was amazing, prices were good, and service was awesome! I especially liked that at the end when we asked for to go containers, the server left and was going to get us 2 boxes but then I realized I needed 3 because I wanted to keep my potatoes separate from my pancakes and I tried calling after my server and another server who was busy cleaning up a table said "what do you need? I'll get it!" She just jumped right in to help without a second thought even though we weren't "her table" and she was busy. Everyone was super friendly. Great place!

One Love Brewery is a charming and spacious brewpub that offers a dog-friendly outdoor area with beautiful views. Visitors can enjoy sitting on the deck or in the yard, where they can also catch live music performances. The menu features creative fare, including fresh salads, delicious chicken sandwiches, clam chowder with whole clams (which may surprise some diners), and flavorful dishes like Korean BBQ Pork Mac N Cheese and duck tacos. The brewery also provides a dog menu for furry companions.
A really cozy brewery with plenty of delicious bites! The menu features comfort food favorites like mac and cheese, loaded pulled pork sandwiches, and crispy chicken sandwiches. The service was excellent, and our server was incredibly attentive.

We were visiting New Hampshire when we decided to have dinner here. It was full when we reached and there was live music till 9 and the singer was good . The vibe was really nice and the service was fast. Our server was really nice and did come and check up on those multiple times. They never did rush us as we were there eating until 9.30. Loaded nachos- 3/5-it was good but bcz it was cold- the cheese was but runny. Fish and chips-5/5- loved it . Fish was so fresh. One lime chicken- 4/5- little buttery for my taste but was good. Lamb chops-4/5- hmm little chewy but sauce was good. Apple, fig cobbler-3/5-was very sweet didn’t like it. Flourless cake-5/5- was a hit The drinks were also nice: apple cider sangria, hot tardy, Rue Lala ,Vienna . Loved this place and the vibe. Worth visiting.

Would definitely recommend. Went on a Wednesday after a “common” huge wait time at another nearby restaurant. No wait here. Food portions are huge we went the pretzel, clam chowder, buffalo sliders (special) and chicken tenders. All were fantastic. Service from Hannah was second to none. She was on top of everything. So glad we came here.

Different vibe with tremendous potential here. Server was friendly but not overly attentive. The atmosphere is somewhat different. There are black curtains dividing some areas of the bar and dining room and also some areas of the facility that are not public spaces. The bathrooms needed a good scrub. Beer was good with a limited selection. The food was a solid okay but not something we would be in a hurry to go back for. There was a bowl of food on the bar top from the time we walked in until we left. There was nobody sitting at the bar during this interval

It was a great spot to stop after doing some hiking in the area. They had a small list of beers but they were all fantastic. The food was crazy good for a small brewery in a less busy area. Really enjoyed all the beers we tried
Paul V — Google review
Best clam chowder ever. They put four whole clamshells in there that you get the clam out yourself. Broth is not too thick or too thin. Plus, the pork belly adds a great extra flavor. Veggie burger was good and the fries were also good not too salty. Nice selection of beers and great menu of summer cocktails. Tuna appetizer was delicious , beautifully presented

I absolutely recommend stopping here if you are in the area!! We stopped by out of the blue. It took about 10-15 minutes for a table to be ready, although keep in mind they tend to cram people at tables tightly. I got an Arnold Palmer and it was delicious. For a meal, I got the summer bowl with no crema and grilled chicken added. It was delicious! I was so full!

To say that my families experience was fantastic would be an understatement. The staff was friendly, attentive and very good at their jobs. Our waitress was the sweetest and interacted with our little boy every chance she got. The food was absolutely delicious! The best meal we’ve had, hands down, in YEARS! Also, the beer was great! We are from southern Maine but will make sure that whenever we’re in the area we stop in! To top the night off our waitress was nice enough to grab a few photos while my, now soon to be husband, proposed to me! Overall it was a perfect night!!

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
El Charro is a vibrant Mexican restaurant known for its festive atmosphere and classic Mexican dishes like carnitas and tacos. The staff, particularly Memo, is praised for their exceptional service despite being short-staffed. Customers enjoyed the delicious food, including shrimp fajitas and margaritas, as well as the unique deep-fried ice cream dessert. The restaurant also offers entertainment options such as pool tables and arcade games, making it a great spot for families.
The food was delicious and our waitress was very nice. We ate on the patio since it was a nice sunny day. The chairs were comfortable, the table was clean, and the umbrellas kept the sun from being too warm.
The B — Google review
My husband and I stopped in, mostly because we were driven by curiosity to see what sort of Mexican food Lincoln would have to offer. Having tried it, we've concluded it's a decent pitch but nowhere near a home run. Wanting to try as many things as possible, we ordered beef nachos and the 'Mexican combo' - a combination platter that included an enchilada, a chimichanga, and a tostada (along with a side of rice and beans). The combo was a little disappointing. I found it to be a somewhat repetitive iteration of the same three ingredients - tortilla, dry chicken, and cheese. The accompanying rice and beans, too, were underwhelming. We liked the nachos far better, which had a generous amount of well-seasoned beef and thick chips that somehow maintained their crunch under a mountain of cheese. Personally, we found the blanket of cheese to be a little much, but cheese-lovers will have met their match with this order. The highlight of our meal was actually the free chips and salsa. The salsa absolutely slaps, approaching near perfection in texture, spice, and flavor. If we didn't notice the small print on the menu that explains a surcharge for additional refills, we probably would have run up quite the charge on just these. Inside, the restaurant is larger than it looks, and it seems it's got the footprint of two restaurants split by a wall. The first dining room is a little drab and quiet, while the adjoining space is festive with a bar, decorations, and (randomly?) some arcade games. We found no fault with the service, which was prompt, friendly, and efficient.

Thank you for have made my trip an A+ Betty it was so nice to meet you, you are very friendly and you have an excellent customer’s service. I highly recommend the enchiladas de Mole! The mole is the best mole I have ever tried in USA. I am originally from Mexico and here the mole is authentic from Puebla. Home made without a doubt. Only thing I tried in my 2 consecutive visits. Love it!! Thank you!!

Everything was absolutely delicious! We sat at the bar and received friendly, prompt service. The salsa had just the right amount of spice with a rich, smooth tomato flavor, and the chips were perfectly crisp—not too thick or thin. The chicken quesadillas were excellent, served with a generous side of guacamole and sour cream. The tacos de cochinita pibil were outstanding, and the margaritas hit the spot. You really can’t go wrong here!
Kate J — Google review
Visited on Cinco De Mayo and was not disappointed. Very friendly staff, outstanding atmosphere, and most importantly, a wide variety of dishes on the menu, even those who aren't looking for Mexican food. A full service bar with especially tasty Margaritas. They also have outdoor seating available, pool tables, video games and a jukebox.
William H — Google review
Very expensive with good quality food. We stoped by for lunch with groups of 6 people at El Charro, and after having the first nachos for appetizers we were notified that the refill would cost extra. That is something I never seen in Mexican restaurants before, and also how much that they charge us for tax and tip was also very much more than we expected.

We have an El Charro back in our hometown well just across the border in Kansas and it's horrible! Not this El Charro, talk about authentic Mexican food, and just wonderfully prepared. Our server Betty was delightful and a pleasure to talk to practicing my Spanish. Cafe Lafayette is a charming American eatery located in a restored train with a vintage atmosphere. The cafe offers seasonal opening hours and features additional seating upstairs. Visitors can enjoy stunning views, especially during snowy weather. The brunch menu may be limited, but it offers excellent options such as the Eggs Benedict served with the best croissant ever tasted. Despite small portion sizes, the food is delicious, with pub fries being highly recommended.
We have been on other dinner trains over the years. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the food was delicious. The portions (sm/med) are just right for this type of venue. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We chose to sit up in the dome car. But I honestly think the window sizes and a clearer view was better on the main floor. However, the trade off was the cushy comfy seats in the dome area.
Bob's M — Google review
The experience altogether was beautiful and romantic! I think everyone should do it at least once in their lives. The food wasn’t fantastic, but it was good. The staff was very nice! The parking was crammed. One side of the train has the sunset. Apparently, you might be seated with another couple and the seats aren’t spacious enough for two people elbow room. Luckily, my husband and I had our own booth, so we didn’t have to deal with that. The atmosphere is nice the way the set up the table with the flowers and candle and play the classy music.
Karen K — Google review
We sat in the Dome car. I was comfortable, but very noisy din of all the people with Jazz music the whole time, so if you're sensitive to noise, consider that. The rolls are amazing with cute whipped butter, but each person should get their own butter (by the size of it) without having to ask. That being said, service was very attentive and accommodating. Salad was lovely with fresh fruit. I enjoyed the appetizers, my daughter and I each got a different one and split it so we could try two. The chicken and pork entrée were good. They actually cooked the asparagus perfectly! All the entrée came with it and mashed potatoes. The only complaint was that they served my husband's salmon entrée with skin on, and it wasn't seared, so it was slimy. Dessert that day was a nice chocolate moose and an offer of coffee.

This experience is a must if you're a fan of delicious food and the beautiful NH scenery. The staff here does an excellent job and accommodates most food allergies (make sure to mention any in the reservation). A 2 hour train ride in a 1950s dining car takes you back in time. 5 courses, all delicious, and a wide drink selection makes for an incredible evening on the rails. Thank you to the staff who served us and made us smile. We look forward to the next time.

This was a really nice experience and the food was delicious. I gave it 4 stars because I was expecting it to have some scenic views but it did not. We did cross a few bridges where you could see water below but other than that it ran parallel to the highway, we saw a junk yard, a golf course/country club, the back of people's yards, and rock faces. There is free parking. We boarded at 4:15pm and left at 5pm. The train goes forward and then in reverse, no loop. Again the food was delicious and the staff was very polite and prompt.

Yummmm!! I’ll be dreaming about the maple pumpkin bisque for days!! The butternut squash ravioli with asparagus and mashed potatoes was perfect for autumn. The roll was divine and the butter clearly handmade. The salad was refreshing and the maple vinaigrette, mmmm, good! For my birthday they even put a candle in my chocolate mousse dessert and the whole car sang to me. 😊 we sat in the dome. The roof was low, okay for the riders but looked harder for the servers. All three cars were super cute! Time period decor, great servers, and wonderful food. The scenery was gorgeous. I wasn’t by the window but kept snapping pics. It was raining but it was a great contrast to the changing leaves. Loved it! I’m recommending this to everyone I meet!! Perfect addition to our girls trip 🧡

Restaurant
Pub 32 is a laid-back bar and restaurant offering a variety of pub food and beer in a traditional, wooden setting. Visitors have enjoyed the classic combination of pizza and wings, along with friendly service from the staff. The atmosphere is described as fun and welcoming, with outdoor games adding to the enjoyment. Customers have praised the prompt service for both dine-in and take-out orders, highlighting the generous portions of toppings on their pizzas.
I have heard from a close friend, that she loves to stop in here whenever she's in the area. Today after a long camping trip and an arduous hike I decided this was where I needed to stop to stuff my face and melt into a seat for a while. Once I found it (not hard to find but the sign blends in and I was certainly delirious with hunger) I popped in, worried they'd be too busy. I was immediately greeted and provided a menu. Service was stellar the whole time. Friendly and on point. I LOVE my water and they kept it full for me while everything else came up super quick too. I had a few drinks, boneless chicken bites and a small pizza. The house beer infused pizza crust is magical. The beer selection is great. The vibe is really cute but also welcoming. Big fan of the relaxed music. All the regulars that came and went seemed comfortable but super friendly. Definitely stop in after a hike, a Kanc ride or a day on the slopes. 10/10. Ugh now I have to tell Kelley she was right ;) Unfortunately I only took one pic for my dad, because IYKYK 👏🏻

Surprised by this little gem! So good! The atmosphere is casual and a little gritty, which we love. Nothing fancy to expect here, but the pizza was really pretty awesome. They pour a good solid drink. We played a little board game that they have. The service was attentive and fun. Prices were very reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Pub 32 is now on our "must visit" list for the next time we come up to Lincoln.

We went on a very busy night (the Highland Games were in town). The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, even though the restaurant was absolutely slammed. We ordered three pizzas to go and the food came out quite quickly. Overall, the pizzas were just bland and nothing to write home about. They were quite doughy.

The pizza was delicious! The place was busy but our server was very friendly and prompt. He offered and brought a bowl with water and ice out for my dog. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere only because it was very hot sitting outside and the umbrellas did not offer enough coverage from the sun. If you're in the area, definitely worth stopping in!

Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta at Loon Mountain offers a taste of Martha's Vineyard in Lincoln, New Hampshire. The restaurant is known for its famous butternut squash ravioli and Lobster Fra Diablo, both served straight in the pan. After a day of skiing, visitors can recharge with delicious and fresh Italian cuisine. The hospitable staff provides great service and strong yet balanced cocktails.
This restaurant is very old-school, and I mean that in the most positive way possible. Do you go here for the interior design or modern takes on food? No, definitely not. However, service is very friendly, fast, and they check in with you just the right number of times. And the food? Well, portions are ginormous. Seriously, many people will be able to get an extra lunch out of their portion. Likewise the side salad and bread w olive oil was very generously portioned. And now the most important part, how did it taste? We had the scallops and the mushroom risotto, and both were super tasty, especially the risotto, and perfectly prepared. Simple food done extremely well. Homemade tiramisu for dessert, also great. The only slight negative I guess is the location, which is not great inside the mall. The brewery next door has the superior location w outdoor seating. However, if you’re in the mood for good Italian, go to jimmy seas!

Would recommend it here...we have been here twice already. However, if you plan to order the pasta, COME HUNGRY! You get a LOT. And they give you bread and salad as well while you are waiting. The food is always excellent. The servers are super friendly and they like joking around with you. Definitely check it out if you love pasta and are in the area!

This place should be busier! We were here during foliage season and every restaurant we tried had an hour-plus wait. We got right in to Jimmy Seas. The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered an old fashioned cocktail and it was fantastic. Our food came very quickly. My meal was Scallops Napoli and it was delicious. The portions are very generous. We had cannoli and panna cotta for desert. They were both delicious, too. Highly recommended.

The food is very good. The portions are huge. We think the issue is price. Had the seafood dish and it was around $52.00. This is not Martha's Vineyard ( location of other restaurant). I had a similar dish at Colatina in Bradford VT. ,it was $25.00 less!! The wait staff is excellent. When they say outside dining, it is outside the restaurant, but within the building, overlooking mall. I wish them the best, but gotta work on those prices.Four of us, with drinks, entrees,$285.00.

The staff was very friendly and prompt with our asks. Food was great with plenty of options to choose from. We had a person with a couple of food allergies and they were great about making sure she was taken care of. The atmosphere was pleasant. We had almost 20 people in our group and that didn't change how we were taken care of. Everything was great.

Authentic Italian food with a home style serving concept! The place looks very Italian and a bit old, food was great and portions are huge! Food is served in hot skillet for sharing, upon placing the order we were served a complimentary bread basket and olive oil, fresh green salad which is so delicious and took me years back to when I used to have the same salad served in a similar style for sharing! Absolutely enjoyed this restaurant with its delicious food snd nostalgic atmosphere!

The food is good, but the seating is bad managed. peak season no enough persons and bad training. The entry is a chaos. The White Mountain Tavern at Woodward's Resort is a hidden gem that offers amazing hospitality and incredible food. The restaurant is run by Melissa and Dave, who ensure top-notch customer service and satisfaction. Guests rave about the delicious food prepared by Chef Chris, with some even opting for takeout to enjoy the next day. The atmosphere is lively, with live music performances adding to the overall experience.
Located beside the main road this is a good place to try out. We made a Friday dinner stop out here and got Rosemary Truffle fries and Schnitzel. Both of them were pretty good and definitely worth a try. Pork in Schnitzel was very juicy along with the capers that enhanced the flavor. The aioli sauce and the subtle truffle in rosemary fries did make it above average fries. The service was slow and the place seemed to be little on the cooler side not sure if the heater was not working or it was too cold outside. Regardless the food quality was pretty good.

We stayed at the hotel connected with this tavern, though I don't agree that it's a tavern. This is a full menu restaurant (not just bar food) and the food was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and the adjacent bar was fun with live music every weekend.

I just want to say, wow!!! Melissa and Dave run a great operation here, as does the kitchen. We stopped by last month on their first day open after their vacation. It was slammed and Melissa and Dave did such a wonderful job. I used to work in a busy bar/restaurant and I know how stressful it can be and all the work that goes in to it. They know what they are doing, they know how to keep customers happy, and they know how to enjoy life. In between them taking care of everyone they truly check in with you, may even take a seat for a moment to join you! Perhaps you'll dance and sing Take Me Home, Country Roads with them too! I really can't say enough about these folks and their fine establishment. Live free or die and that applies to how they run their business. They were just so welcoming. Got to hang with their chef for a few too, he was a great guy also. Can not wait to go back here. Man, if rent wasn't outrageous in the area I'd move there just to work for them. I REFUSE to answer who makes the better cocktail though! Both do it to perfection.

This place is a hidden gem! I can't express the amount of amazing hospitality I received from this location! Phenomenal! David (the owner of the tavern) is absolutely top notch when it comes to customer service and satisfaction! We came out to eat and have dinner here and the experience was 5 star! Drinks and food expectations were surpassed. There are wonderful patrons and staff. We experienced live music (acoustic guitar) by Jeff Lines. My family and I enjoyed a great, entertaining, acoustic show by Jeff (available for bookings as well, look him up on fb.) Dave, and his entire crew surpassed our expectations tenfold! Thank you so much! You truly deserve every gold star available! We will most certainly be back to visit this little gem!

I don’t write reviews often. However this experience is worth to mention. I got a ski lesson package at Loon Mountain. My primary instructor was Steve. He was excellent! He used to practice medicine (I am a resident physician too) he gave the examples in ski like medicine . He was so kind , skillful and encouraging. Also need to mention Brendan was so nice and supportive all the time. During noon break , I was searching for a place to pray. It was so crowded ,From the staff Chef was kind enough to open for me their conference room, wait outside and walk with me to the ski area again. He was remembering my name later on , came to help me again while carrying ski equipment. Dennis was welcoming , sweet lady , very helpful. Many more nice, kind people I met here , I am sorry I don’t remember everybody’s name at this moment. I will definitely tell all my friends and family , and would love to come back (if I ever get weekend off again 😅) Thank you Loon Mountain ! Aisha

Good food and drinks. The staff was friendly and the place was well decorated. A bit pricey

It's a sports bar. The atmosphere is nice. The waitresses were nice and quick. The food was..... The main course was fantastic, but the fries tasted like fish or shrimps. Did you fry them in the same oil? Ordered a coke without ice. Got a coke with ice, without carbon and without taste.

Foods fantastic!!! Service is fantastic as well!!! The staff is super friendly and inviting, we got an appetizer and a couple burgers that were cooked to perfection . CJ'S is kind of hard to find it's in the basement of a motel my only complaint , I would highly recommend eating here.

Left the Black Mountain Burger when they told us the wait time was 1.5 hours. Hello! I can kill a cow and carve out a burger in that time. Crossed the street to CJ's and was welcomed - immediately - to paradise. Great service, amazing comfort food, no pretenses. This is where the locals know to go. Delighted that we found it.

Great food and friendly staff! During our trip to New Hampshire we were looking for somewhere to eat and this happened to be a very convenient place to dine while we were in the area. If you are in Lincoln visiting certain attractions such as loon mountain this place is very close by. The food was pretty good and quite filling and the portions were a decent size. I got a kids meal and I couldn’t even finish it because of the portion size. Here you will find your typical foods that you will most usually see at a sports bar, but it was very good at least during our experience. The service was pretty good and the staff were pretty friendly. The only thing to keep in mind if you’re planning to dine here is if you try to reserve a table you will not be able to. This restaurant has a first come first serve policy. We were able to get in rather quickly with no wait, and it was around 6 on a Saturday night during a holiday weekend, which I was pretty surprised about. However I can’t predict or promise the same thing will happen to everyone so I suggest you plan accordingly to your day and what works best for you. Overall this was a great dining experience and definitely would come again next time I am in the area!

The Paul Bunyan Room, situated upstairs in the Octagon Lodge at Loon, is renowned as the birthplace of apres ski. It's a popular spot for the younger and local crowd, offering an impressive selection of 32 draft beers including many local brews. The lively slopeside bar features live entertainment from day to night. Visitors praise the friendly bartenders and excellent beer recommendations. Despite getting crowded quickly, it's considered a solid apres ski spot with a good vibe.
Cozy Little Lodge to grab a drink or cocktail in between runs. It's a very social spot. Food is okay. The drinks are much better. Great place to sit and chat with others if you're not much of a skier and everybody else is out on the slopes. Plenty of spots to put equipment. It does fill up especially during the season. Tables can be hard to come by. Sports a great view of the mountains and you can look out and see your friends and family coming down the mountain. Close to the lift. There's a patio outside. Catch some fresh air if you're starting to heat up from wearing heavy clothing. Great spot. Food could be better but it's not horrible for a lodge. Highly recommend!

If you like IPA’s, try “the taste of sunshine” 8%. Very good!

Stopped at The Grateful Skier today for brunch on our way to Canada. We were seated immediately by our friendly server who also helped us choose some favorites from the delicious choices on the menu. I had the eggs over easy with a side of baked beans. I have never seen this as a brunch option and love that they offer it. They were the absolute best baked beans I have ever eaten! I also loved the decor. Not the usual rustic style found in mountain towns which was refreshing. It also has fun and tasteful Grateful Dead bear decals on the wall that I had only noticed when we were leaving. Definitely check this place out before the winter rush!

Stopped by for some drinks before lunch and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very nice and helpful, and knew of all the events happening in the area. The music, decorations, and merch are pretty cool too! Definitely want to stop by for a show on the weekend.

When our original top two choices across the street were mobbed, we headed over to The Grateful Skier as a last resort. Staff was friendly, food was great. The chili was so good. My husband really enjoyed his smashburger.
Sabra B — Google review
My family and I just had dinner here and the food was fantastic. We started with buffalo wings which were very good, blue cheese was homemade. My wife got the nachos with chicken as her meal and I had the Oklahoma smash burger. Both are excellent, one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. I got a side of potato salad which was very good. The kids meals were good as well, no crumbs left behind. The waitress was very nice and we got to engage in conversation as well with the chef which was great. I’d recommend giving it a try absolutely!!

Just got into town. Found the reviews on the grateful skier by out of five stars and I agree. The entire staff made us feel so welcome. A shout out to Amber. Really connected. Spent a lot of time with us answering all our questions very patiently

So my wife and I stopped here on a whim. Let's say it was our fortunate situation. You do not expect great BBQ in NH but we were very happy we did. Start out our server Brooke was fantastic the manager Jen terrific Thank you Ladies for a wonderful meal experience. We were told Mary is a Texas/Oklahoma native who relocated to NH. From the start drinks were plentiful our appetizers of burnt ends and a sampler were large enough for 4 people to share and it was only the two of us. Our meals of pulled pork on Texas toast and the Oklahoma smash burger perfectly done the sides were what I expected as if we were in Texas excellent as well. We were told they have only been open for four months. So with the busy season in front of them give this place a try you will not be disappointed. Also make sure you try the house sauce its a pleasant surprise as well.

We had a great experience at this new restaurant/bar. There were 6 in our party and we were in the middle of an overnight running relay race from Lancaster to Hampton Beach. The owner was on site and extremely helpful, friendly and enthusiastic about the operation. The staff were friendly and attentive before we sat down, during the meal and after we finished. The food was excellent and delivered quickly to our table. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful views of the mountains and listen to the timeless sounds of the Grateful Dead. I would highly recommend Grateful Skier, whether your looking for a good meal or just want to have a drink with friends and family. Don't forget to ask about the MERCH! Very cool!!!

We loved this place! We remember it as a sports bar, but we weren’t fans, then. We had great service, three different areas to eat. We ate out in the deck. It was the perfect place for the 4 of us. The pulled port and the brisket sandwiches were tender and perfect. I’m also a fan of the Cole Slaw, but the chips were excellent! The 4 of us were very happy with the combinations we ordered. The sides were great. This place sat us promptly, they had a great band downstairs, plenty of indoor seating and a great deck seating area. We’ll return! Try this place out, we think you’ll enjoy it like we did!
