New York Zipline Adventures LLC offers an exhilarating experience with ziplines, rope bridges, and a climbing tower. One of their main attractions is the 600-ft.-high line, which is the fastest and longest in the U.S. Visitors can enjoy the Mid Mountain Tour with suspension bridges and tree platforms for a group adventure or opt for the Night Zip Tour for a solo experience.
We did the sky rider tour yesterday ! It was hands down the most amazing day! The colors were gorgeous. Our tour guides were Brandon and Tink, and you literally should request them!!! They were energetic, enthusiastic, fun, supportive and very informative! We felt safe and comfortable the entire time! I will 100% be back! If you’ve been thinking of doing it, so it!!!! I can not wait to go again!

Just did the sky rider tour with some of my friends, and we had an absolute blast. We got to go on 5 ziplines and walk over a really cool suspension bridge. It was during peak fall foliage, so the views were absolutely stunning. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable, engaging and fun! I would highly recommend booking a tour with them if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

What a fun day! We did the full 3 hour tour with Sam, Luke and Bryan who made the whole experience a lot of fun. They were great guides and clearly love their jobs. The length of the tour definitely made it worth the price! Just be prepared to use your 'abs'.
Katherine H — Google review
Awesome time. We did the mid mountain tour for starters but definitely want to return for the skyrider. We had a ridiculous amount of rain and ended up completely saturated but it didn't stop the fun at all. I mean if you haven't ziplined down a mountain in the pouring rain, did you even Zipline? Such a fun time and the rain made us go faster 😂 our guides Brandon and Kincaid were awesome. We had a lot of laughs and fun during our experience. Looking forward to the skyrider in the future.
Casey C — Google review
The zip lining was an absolute blast today, I would 10/10 recommend everyone go and enjoy themselves! The tour guides Zack, Nate and Dustin were hysterical and fun easing everyone's nerves, and really made the experience even that much more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again someday!
Matthew J — Google review
Make sure you have a way to secure your phone and stuff. I forgot this and bought a Fanny pack-type-thing for $20. First time zip lining for my girls and me but we had a blast. Group size will be about 5-10. Guides are very patient and good about getting the little ones to take their first zip when they are 50 feet in the air. They don’t get frustrated if it takes more than 5 minutes for the kids to let go.
Charles H — Google review
My wife and I went on the Skyrider Tour and love it! It was my second time here but my wife's first. Our guides Luke and Dakota were great and made the experience more enjoyable. I highly recommend trying this Excursion at least once, you won't be disappointed.
Sarge M — Google review
New York Zipline Adventures skyrider tour exceeded our expectations by far! It was such an amazing and fun experience, with incredible views of the mountain range! Coming mid-October was a great idea as the fall foliage was beautiful. One of the best parts was our guides. Tink, Dustin, and Dakota were so awesome, we felt very safe and in good hands! Not only were they very knowledgeable and experienced, but all three had the best personalities and told funny stories which made sure everyone in the group had a memorable time. I definitely want to go back again, and will be absolutely requesting the same guides.

Nestled in the Catskill Mountains, The Catskill Mountain Foundation is a cultural hub offering a diverse range of artistic experiences. The foundation features a charming bookstore where visitors can discover local literature and an art gallery showcasing works by both local artists and renowned American Romantics. Additionally, the establishment houses a small restaurant, providing an ideal setting to conclude your day with a delightful meal. Whether you're drawn to nature or the arts, this destination appeals to those seeking a blend of both.
This organization works tirelessly to bring world-class talent and unforgettable events to our community. Their dedication and passion are evident in everything they do. I had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Annual Benefit—Movement in Bloom—an extraordinary and intimate afternoon at the Orpheum Performing Arts Center. The New York City Ballet delivered a breathtaking performance that was nothing short of spectacular. Artistic Director Adrian Danchig-Waring brought an added layer of meaning to the event, introducing each piece with thoughtful commentary that deepened the audience's connection to the work. Every detail was beautifully curated. For anyone who loves ballet or the arts, this was a must-see event. A truly magical afternoon in the Catskills!

This foundation is closing the local food bank because the food bank wanted to have NARCAN available. Why does this foundation want people to die? Addiction affects ARTISTS as well as people from all walks of life. CLOSING THE LOCAL FOOD BANK!!!!! never heard of “starving artists”?!?!? I am so utterly sickened by the actions of this non profit. Every one (including government) that supports this foundation should think twice about making a donation. I’m thinking I just might have to drop off NARCAN on their doorstep every day …… you didn’t want it at the food bank? How do you people sleep at night?

Brewpub

Restaurant
Hunter Mountain Brewery is a popular restaurant and brewpub offering a relaxed atmosphere and contemporary space. It's known for its delicious homebrews like Double Diamond Stout, Becker Hollow Brown Ale, Hazy Mountain Brew, and the seasonal favorite Pumpkin Pie Ale. The focus here is on quality food and service with a simple menu and drink selection. Visitors have praised the brisket sandwich while recommending to steer clear of the mac and cheese. The beer soup has been highlighted for its excellent flavor profile.
The food, while a bit more expensive than I was expecting, was so freaking good. And the portions were huge. I got the Grand Concourse, which was a sandwich with BBQ brisket with cheddar cheese and fried onion straws. I’m not joking, it was the most delicious thing I’ve eaten in the last six months at least. I also loved the taco salad. I did NOT love the Oktoberfest, it tasted like cinnamon which I did not expect, but aside from that I liked their beer selection.
Moses H — Google review
Came here before leaving hunter mountain. The majority of us ordered the Gateway burger, medium rare, and we ordered different sides (regular chips, onion rings, and sweet potato fries) so that we could try all of them and share. The onion rings and sweet potato fries cost $3 extra. All 3 were solid options! The regular chips are more like kettle chips and very fried and crispy! Perfectly salted as well. The sweet potato fries were not as crispy but still very honey sweet, but a tad too salty. The onion rings were by far my favorite. They were perfectly crispy, lightly battered, and were made from real full onions! Definitely will order the onion rings again in the future, even with the $3 extra cost. The burger was also perfect. Not too done and slightly pink in the center. Very juicy and was devoured within 5 minutes. Haha. I would have preferred more than 2 pickles though in my burger though. But overall, was an enjoyable meal and would be back again!

Great views from the outdoor patio.. umbrellas keep you cool. Stopped for drinks and apps… the calamari was $18, very very small portion. It was mostly breading..crispy n hot though., with a “spicy” sauce.. it was just ok. The butterscotch White Russian I had was tasty. My hubby had a beer crazy hazy unfiltered.. he liked it. They are Pet friendly..

Great service and beautiful views! I got the Buffalo chicken dip and it was delicious; I also got a delicious blueberry vodka lemonade. The menu had so many yummy looking things on it; will have to go back for more!
Tina V — Google review
Visited Hunter Mountain Brewery and really enjoyed the food and the beautiful views—it’s a great spot to relax and take in the scenery. The dishes were flavorful and well-prepared. However, the service unfortunately didn’t meet expectations. While I won’t call out anyone by name, I do think our server could’ve handled things more professionally and with better attention. Because of that, I’d rate the overall experience 4 out of 5.

My first time here, and it won't be the last. Friendly staff and good service. I had the Grand Concourse (BBQ Brisket) sandwich. The Brisket was tender and tasted great!

Our group liked it so much we ate there twice in two days! Great place for beer, food, service and a beautiful view. Good variety on the menu. The brisket was especially delicous. Accommodating to groups both indoors and on the deck. Excellent service. We'll definitely go back when we're in the area!

If you're looking for an exhilarating activity in Hunter, the Hunter Scenic Skyride is a must-try. It's a popular attraction for friends and family, offering breathtaking views of Hunter Mountain from the best vantage points. Keep in mind that this experience is weather-permitting, but if you're lucky enough to catch a clear day, it's definitely worth it. The chairlift ride provides incredible scenic views and comes highly recommended for those seeking an unforgettable experience in Hunter NY.
Best place to see the fall foliage in NY! We drove there at the end of September. It was a bit early to see the fall colors but the scenic ride was breathtaking. You go up the mountain and see the beauty from the top of the mountain. If you plan to hike from there you can do that as well. It takes around an hour to go to a popular hiking spot. You can spend some time at the top and come back before 3:30. Per person cost is only $27. It's worth it. They also have a fall festival ongoing. You can grab some good food after experiencing the scenic ride.
Shah C — Google review
During this fall season, a group tour felt absolutely essential and that’s how our plan to visit Hunter Mountain came about. Altogether, we were a group of over 20 people, and everyone had already purchased their tickets online. As scheduled, everyone arrived by 10:58 a.m., and around 11:20 a.m., we finally got on the sky ride, five people per chair. For those who have acrophobia (fear of heights), I’d suggest looking upward or sideways during the ride, it may helps reduce the fear. The ride lasted about 11 minutes, and whenever it paused midway, there was a slight bounce, which felt quite uncomfortable. However, once we reached the top, it truly felt worth it, the view was mesmerizing! The clouds seemed to blend seamlessly with the towering mountains, creating a magical scene. The windy weather might have dulled some of the fall colors, but overall, it was still a beautiful experience. We spent a good amount of time there, and a few kind visitors helped take our group photos, heartfelt thanks to them.🌸 Then came the return trip. Initially, I thought the ride had seat belts, but it only had a lap bar, which didn’t make the fear of falling go away, especially for those with toddlers. The biggest mistake some of our group members made was underestimating the cold. They wore only sweatshirts or hoodies, which weren’t enough. Gloves, muffler, and masks (to cover the nose and ears) were absolutely necessary, many were shivering in the chilly wind. Despite the cold and the little scares, the sky ride experience was thrilling and unforgettable.
Maria O — Google review
The skyride is pretty amazing. It's probably around 10 - 15 minutes of going up the mountain. The views you get are gorgeous. The seats are very comfortable. I'm scared of heights but this was okay for me. Although sometimes the ride just stops abruptly and your chair swings. That is pretty normal if people have trouble getting off the ride.
Erik Z — Google review
This place is AWESOME! Best place for the fall foliage! The SkyRide is also amazing. When you go up, the moment you get to see all the mountains with the colorful leaves, you’ll feel the serenity and calmness! The ride is kinda scary, though, haha! Fun fact: We lost our phone somewhere in the restaurant area, and almost everyone knew someone lost their phone; wherever we asked, everyone was telling us to go by the concert – they had it. We went over there, and bingo, it was right there, listening to the live concert 😂. Overall, it’s a nice place to spend time with family. Their management is so organized! The SkyRide is pretty long; you can’t even tell from the ground! Real magic happens when you pass the first steep slope – you get to see the rest of the route. It’s fun and eye-soothing.
Nahid P — Google review
The Scenic Skyride at Hunter Mountain Resort is absolutely breathtaking—especially at the peak of fall foliage! The ride glides smoothly up the mountain, offering sweeping views of vibrant reds, oranges, and golds blanketing the Catskills. Every direction feels like a postcard come to life. The crisp mountain air and peaceful silence make it the perfect autumn escape. Whether you’re snapping photos or simply taking it all in, this experience captures the very best of fall in New York. Truly a must-do for nature lovers and leaf-peepers alike!
Jon R — Google review
You really should have a sign up saying the viewing platform is locked and the only thing you can do is stand on a stair landing towards the top to enjoy the view. If I knew that ahead of time I would not have climbed. You can literally feel the wood your standing on flex as your trying to enjoy the view because 2 or 3 people are up there. It's also difficult to take photos because you have the supports of the look out tower in your way and you have to lean out to get a good shot. There is 1 sign that says the look out tower is 1.8 miles away and then .5 of a mile later there's another sign saying it's 1.8 miles away. That's just lazy but it's on par with how terrible hiking trails are signed in the north east. Connecticut trails are far worse as you will have 2 different colors on the same trail because the person who put the new trail marker up was to lazy to remove the old one but this was pretty bad. I feel like a sign at the beginning stating how hard the climb actually is would be helpful. You have reviews where people are showing off and saying it's easy when it's not and reviews like that get people hurt. There should also be a sign saying not to hike to the fire tower after a certain time because the lift closes at 3:30. Other than that it was alright I guess. Big sections of the trail are covered in mud due to natural springs as well so don't wear your good shoes. The lift attendants are really friendly and helpful and for the most part the lift is well organized.
Alexander V — Google review

Jagerberg Beer Hall and Tavern is a cozy Alpine-themed spot in Hunter, NY that offers Bavarian cuisine and a variety of beers and cocktails. The establishment pays homage to the area's German heritage, reflecting the influence of the region's early European settlers. Visitors can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for post-skiing dining.
We had a great dinner on a busy Saturday night. Reservations are a must as this place is very popular and deservedly so. Although there was a bit of a wait before we were seated, the staff were very attentive and communicative. Service was great and no long wait for anything. We were a table of 7, seated on the main floor which is bustling with activity. The food highlights were the Braunschweiger liverwurst pate, absolutely delicious. Was beautifully seasoned with a satiny liver. A must-have, as was the Flammkuchen flatbread-bacon was perfection. Really enjoyed the Chicken Jager Schnitzel too. The Steak Tartare lacked steak flavor and the capers were a bit overwhelming. Fondue is a fun share. Prices are very reasonable and portions nice. Highly recommend.

A warm, welcoming atmosphere sets the scene for what can only be an amazing evening! Sit down family style downstairs at farm-style tables w/benches in the “Beer Hall”, or head upstairs for more intimate tables for 2-4. Chef Christie will amaze your eyes, and tantalize your palette even before you pick up your knife and fork. Her artful presentation is such that one almost hesitates delving into the meal! The menu itself is a gastro adventure with German and American options. The serving sizes are very generous, guaranteeing that no one leaves hungry.

I was visiting friends in the area and joined for Octoberfest dinner. Service was great as was the food. The prettiest currywurst I’ve ever seen! And the steak tartare with truffle chips was a lovely surprise - very delicious. Washed down with a Hefeweisen. My friends had the sauerbraten and flounder schnitzel (not pictured)

This is a great spot. All of the food I had was really good. The portions were really large. The service was great. They offered different options of when we want the food to be out. They even offered to split the food for us. I didn't expect such a great place to eat in a small town like Hunter. It was a welcome surprise.

A fine purveyors of German cuisine. Tonight's dishes were steak tartar, chicken schnitzel porkchop and some brats. Great dishes! When in this area, I would visit again.

Food was amazing as well as staff and service! The sausage with mango chutney is delicious as well as the pretzels. The cocktails are very creative and they sell pretzel necklaces! The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I visited this place during Oktoberfest, and what an unforgettable experience it was! Since we had our dog with us, we asked to sit outside, and someone immediately came over to help - with the kindest smile and warm energy. We chose a spot by the fire pit, and within moments, that same person offered to light it for us. We ordered food and beer, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious - perfectly prepared and full of flavour. But what truly made the evening special wasn’t just the food or the setting - it was the care. Moments later, the same person appeared again with a bowl of water and treats for our dog, and we chatted for a bit about how wonderful the place was. As night began to fall, they offered us blankets to keep warm -another thoughtful gesture that spoke volumes. Every step of the way, this person was attentive, genuine, and so kind. Being a business owner myself, I notice the small details - the effort, the extra steps, the pride in what someone does. So I finally asked, “Are you the owner by any chance?” Sure enough - the answer was yes. And that’s how we met Cordelia - an incredible owner and an even more amazing human being. To top it all off, after we left (a few beers later!), I realized I’d forgotten my vest there. When I called, I heard the same cheerful voice on the phone: “I was wondering when you were going to call!” Cordelia even mailed the vest back to me - just another act of kindness that perfectly sums up who she is. Cordelia, thank you for: 1️⃣ For being such a warm, genuine host and the heart of your business. 2️⃣ For creating a place so welcoming and memorable that people can’t wait to return. 3️⃣ For going above and beyond for every guest, every single time. We absolutely promise - we’ll be back again soon! 🍻🧡🐾

It was a nice birthday party location. Cinama 3 has bad seats. Not uncomfortable but a bad view if you have anyone sit in front of you. Not enough elevation between seats. If I payed to see a movie on that screen I would be disappointed. Fine enough for a few kids and their parents.

Small and clean theater areas. It is never crowded or noisy here. They show quality films. We don't go to the movies much, so we appreciate a nice experience.

Cool theater, laid back and helpful staff. No WiFi which is tough for that are (no cell reception). We had a babysitter end couldn’t be reached during the show. Hopefully they fix that soon. Seems important for the customers

This theatre shows good, often independent films, and has good facilities. But they lost two stars TODAY. We had some snow. It's called "winter." I traveled over a mountain pass from Windham to Hunter to see Eagle Huntress, the last day..of only three..of being shown. And much to my amazement, the theatre was CLOSED! Ever heard of areal movie theatre closed and thus not showing 3 or 4 films,at least one of which was it's last showing? The streets were well plowed. Call me back when you become more considerate of your customers.

Customers have praised the excellent service provided by the knowledgeable staff. One visitor had a great experience with boot fitting, as the expert evaluated their feet for upcoming season's boots and offered multiple foot bed options.
Wow what an absolutely great experience! This business is as good as it gets! Staff is extremely nice and professional. Kathy was AMAZING for a ski boot fitting! She was so knowledgeable and skilled! We even got to pet a nice doggo when we waited for our appointment. I highly recommend this business!!!

Any skier who knows, always knew Keith Holmquist was the best boot fitter around. Myself and all my friends have been fitted by him at the pro. Years later I’m ready for a new pair of boots and his son Gio gave the same experience. Extremely knowledgeable, personable and very thorough. I had a great experience with Gio and I’m fully satisfied with my fitting. Also, Gio built me custom insoles from the ground up and I feel as confident now walking out with my new boots as I did many years ago getting my old. Now any skier who knows, knows to head to see Gio. Ps, the rest of his staff are fantastic. Kathy got me headed in the right direction last season and I was able to pull the trigger on new boots this year. The technicians doing Binding adjustments and ski work are great. You can’t go wrong at the pro!!

I had a boot fitting appointment last Friday (mid October) and what a great experience. Gio was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining all the differences in the boots, buckles and gear. He spent lots of time and it was all around a great experience. I would highly recommend making an appointment to get fitted for boots. Thank you !

Had the most amazing day shopping for all new equipment. What a great experience and an amazing fit. My feet are different from each. Plus the prices were great especially including the service for a year of boot adjustment. Thanks Gio and staff at Pro Ski and Ride.

Very nice shop just down the road from Hunter Mountain. Had a boot-fitting there. They were knowledgeable and patient. Took the time to shape my insole and shell ... worked to get things just right; and guarantee their work. Didn't try to up-sell me. Great place to shop.

Gio, the owner, fabricated new orthotics for my shoes. Got a convenient Saturday appointment with only a few days notice - easy to do on-line. Gio did a good job explaining what he doing. My left leg is longer and straighter than my right, but the shoe size is a 1/2 smaller, so this was not a simple process. Gio took a full hour. It's been about a week, now, and the orthotics are doing great and I am walking much better with them. Also after checking with Gio first, I brought in new skis and bindings to be mounted. Staff got right on that when I arrived and the work was done before I had finished with Gio.

Wow. What a great experience all around. They answered questions I didn't even know I had and I am confident that they will work with me until I get the best fit even if isn't right the first time. Great shop, fair prices, dedicated staff.

I went for a full boot fitting, however all I truly needed were footbeds. I was fit appropriately and my boots fit awesome. No “up-selling.” The expert fit me for what I needed. Outstanding friendly and professional staff.

Hunter Mountain Snow Tubing offers the biggest tubing park in New York State, featuring lanes that are almost 1,000 feet long. Visitors can enjoy two-hour sessions and learn to have a safe and enjoyable experience. The park also offers group packages for birthdays or family events, requiring at least 15 people per group. It's a great way to involve kids in winter sports from an early age.
Amazing place. Today there were no lines (but it might be because the weather was -5 with the wind factor). The staff were amazing, parking is plentiful, and there are two AC ChargePoint charging stations in the parking lot. The soled during the ride is pretty good and the slope is pretty long. Fun for the whole family!!

I don’t know if I would come back and do this again. The staff was friendly though and they helped me with my tube but I was expecting something better like going up a ski lift to snow tube I know that might sound crazy! I went down a couple of times and it was fun, it could’ve been better, and the food over there is overpriced and they DON’T TAKE CASH FOR FOOD!!! Next time if I come back here I wanna go on the ski lift, skiing.
Jake P — Google review
Don’t tube here if you’re over 5 years old. You can sled for free in places that are longer and more steep. You go so slow and the workers, Mary especially, are on you every breath you take about if it’s your turn and no pushing! Never been tubing where pushing isn’t allowed- that’s literally half the fun. Totally no fun and would get a refund except there’s no refund signs all around cause people probably ask for them all the time 🤣
HELENA H — Google review
The tube ride was short and unexciting. On the day of our trip, we were told there weren't enough double tubes and were offered a single tube instead. However, we were never refunded the double-tube charge.

DO NOT DO SNOW TUBING AT HUNTER MOUNTAIN!!! The staff was very rude, and frankly irresponsible. After accidentally taking a double tube, waiting in line for more than 30 minutes (with a -5F temperature), we were told that we didn't pay for the double tube, and that we needed to walk down to retrieve a single tube. Oh, and we'd have to wait in line all over again. My friend was GRABBED AND PULLED ACROSS ICE by a staff member. When we went to speak to a manager, we were told we had plenty of time left to ride. No concern for safety or how rude his staff was. Furthermore, the ticket counter person refused to identify by name the staff member who grabbed my friend. We were directed to "guest services" to request a refund, who had already closed for the day. If you have a remotely negative experience, it's impossible to get a refund. And you might get treated like a criminal and dragged across ice at the top of a large hill. Avoid at all costs.

Went today. The place should have been closed down for the season already. As there was very little snow and way too many people. But even if there was a lot of snow I have sled down hills steeper than this in my neighborhood. It was almost comical that they consider this a tubing park.
Tish T — Google review
It was a very average experience, have done snow tubing at other places and this was a disappointment in comparison, the slope is quite flat and the height of starting point is also low. this can be a good place to introduce toddlers or little kids to snow tubing, would not be visit again for sure !!

Great fun when you have a 2 kids. Gets them involved in winter sports early.

Hunter Mountain Resort is a mountainside retreat that offers cozy condos equipped with kitchens and fireplaces, making it a convenient choice for visitors. The resort has recently returned to full capacity, and the town of Hunter is bustling with activity. Guests can savor delectable treats at the newly opened Fellow Mountain Cafe on Main Street. The resort's staff members are known for their exceptional service, as exemplified by David at the front desk who went above and beyond to accommodate an early arrival.
Enjoyed our visits here. Had a lots of fun as a beginner. Resort has nearly everything you need. Even if you are missing equipment, you can purchase from their place. I would recommend renting the first time, the process is easy and the waiting line was managable. I would definetly recommend this place to enjoy snow with friends and family.

So I've have skiied at Hunter a few times, great place during the week. We took the chairlift ride to the top, the summit lodge is closed temporarily for a remediation of some sorts. If you don't like heights this is not the place to be. The views are always great. Make sure you wear good walking shoes. The fall is the best time to go. Enjoy your ride.

We went to Octoberfest at Hunter Mountain. It was nice. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. It is a lot smaller though compared to years ago when our family would attend. The steak food truck was great! Awesome food and excellent service! Also had funnel cake, always a plus! And tried poutine for the first time. It was good. I will probably go back next year.

Place has really gone down hill ever since it has been sold to Vail. The trails have practically stayed the same for a decade with maybe one or two new trails. Hellgate is always fun but it’s the only trail that you can get real speed on. They have fun terrain parks and a nice lodge bar but otherwise it’s gone down hill. They sell overpriced tickets and practically force you to buy overpriced food. Management is a bunch of goofballs who have no idea how to run the logistics of a mountain.

SkyRide up Hunter Mtn in the Fall likely better than in any other season. Helpful staff...beautiful views on a clear day...could almost see the Rockies. After 11am the indoor outdoor food vendors purvey their standard wares alongside kiddie fun rides. WORTHWHILE

WIFI desperately needs to be updated! Unfortunately, I was there on off-season so I did not get to snowboard on the Mountain other than that the accommodations were comfortable. It would be helpful if the rooms provided bed arrangements. We had a three bedroom suite and our third bedroom had bunkbeds which was not what we needed for our accommodations. TVs need updating as well

I ski and live an hour away but never had been there. The line to return on the fall leaf chair lift was insanely long because they didn't encourage people to share seating.
T M — Google review
Solid ski experience for a day. Trails are somewhat limited and not too many lifts exist in this small NE mountain. The staff was very helpful and they make a point to load six skiers at a time which helps with lines. The food is typical low-quality high-price food, but the pizza is decent. I wish they improved that aspect. Overall a decent option not too far from NYC.

An incredible stop for anyone with interest in all music. The museum houses some of the finest examples of keyboard instruments in the world from early English square pianos, big Viennese and English grands of Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt era. Each instrument is perfectly preserved and in playing condition. If you can attend a concert of these early instruments, I highly recommend. The facility is ran by incredibly knowledgeable historians and musicians of these fine instruments. Be sure to look for the annual fortepiano workshops that they also host.

So many great pianos! Our tour guide, David, was terrific. Be sure to stop by when you're in Hunter. An important piece of international music history.

Very lovely, small museum with a great miniature collection. A must see history of pianos.
Shivika N — Google review
Must see in Hunter! pianos from 1600s to now, and pianos of Lincoln’s White House and Liberace’s. The instructor David gave a wonderful tour of the museum.
Stephanie Y — Google review
The museum hardly follows the hours posted. When asking the next door theater workers, we were told that the owner opens rather inconsistently. Today we again traveled many miles to see the museum, and we saw two gentlemen sitting inside. We asked if they were open and they simply shook their heads and ignored our question of the hours. Please post updated hours so people can come when it is open.

I came from Philadelphia for this event. Me and my family want to say thak you to every one Who make those events possible. It's very satisfying to be around people who love what they do. I Wish to hear about this place at npr.

Pretty nice stools, but I am somewhat disappointed by the several pianos dropped from the second floor. Of the 11 visitors that day, only 2 of us came back alive, and the other survivor is currently in an indefinite coma
