Baine's Books & Coffee is a charming spot located on Appomattox's Main Street, recommended by the Visitors Center. It offers a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can browse through vintage records and used books while enjoying a cup of coffee. The shop also features delicious quiche and pastries, making it an ideal place to spend some leisure time. Additionally, Baine's hosts local acoustic music performances three times a week, providing entertainment for evening visitors.
Very friendly little bookstore and coffee shop with several seating options. My wife and I enjoyed a table for 2 as we sipped some coffee and talked. The locals are notably as friendly as the service. The coffee was flavorful, hot, and fairly priced with several pastries to choose from as well. We tried a gluten free pumpkin cookie, which was good even for someone that isn't gluten free. Lots of charm and hometown feel. I enjoyed the humor in the cup sizes as well. They have other menu items but we were only here for the coffee.
Jeremy K — Google review
The atmosphere of the old building and coffee shop and counter cafe make this an absolutely cannot-miss stop if you are passing through downtown. We easily spent over an hour here - maybe close to 2 - perusing the stacks, and we each found a book.
Dan M — Google review
This place is a vibrant community hub with great character and quality offerings. I can not wait to come back next time I’m in town. My only piece of feedback is that there were guitar cases stored on the vinyl record crates when we were there during open mic night. I am positive that a simple request to have them moved would’ve been met with a quick and kind response but I just wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone and I didn’t want to be a bother, but I did want to shop the record selection and spend some money. I ended up just grabbing a hot chocolate and browsing the books instead.

Baines Coffee and Bookstore is a gem of a spot with a truly rustic, classic charm. From the moment you step inside, there’s a peaceful ambiance that instantly makes you feel welcome and relaxed. The décor adds to the experience, with warm, cozy touches that make it the perfect place to unwind. As for the food—it’s exceptional! Made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients, every bite is flavorful and satisfying, making popular chain cafes pale in comparison. Baines has truly set a high standard, putting Starbucks to shame with both quality and taste. And the book prices? Amazingly affordable! You’ll find great reads for a fraction of what you'd expect to pay elsewhere. If you're looking for a cozy place to enjoy a delicious meal and pick up a good book, Baines is definitely worth a visit!
Brandon D — Google review
The coffee was amazing, and the place has a very cozy and relaxing atmosphere. They even have an upstairs area open on weekdays for adults to lounge. I absolutely recommend anyone come and check out this hidden gem!

Celebrating their 20th anniversary now (2024), this is the original Baine's Books & Coffee, and it's fabulous! Cozy, lots of books and LPs for sale, excellent cafe. This is the perfect coffee shop for me! Highly recommended.

The American Civil War Museum - Appomattox is a significant museum in the state, offering a comprehensive collection of over 400 artifacts, documents, and photographs related to the Civil War. It presents a balanced perspective from both sides of the conflict and highlights key events that unfolded during this historic period. Notable exhibits include General Robert E. Lee's military coat and sword from the time of surrender, as well as uniforms, battle flags, and documents from various units involved in the war.
Very cool experience. Really tells the story from the perspective of the area as a proud confederate, which is what this area was. Lots of battle outfits or prominent soldiers and various confederate flags, mostly with Virginia markings. Wasn’t too busy on a Saturday and had a little gift shop with lots of books, some clothes and snacks. The total cost is normally $15 but for seniors it’s $12.
Christopher B — Google review
Wonderful small museum. You'll need at least an hour for a quick visit. They charged us $13, but it's more like a $7.50 museum. Just saying
Les R — Google review
A great learning experience. It's a walk thru museum with a lot to see. They have a gift shop. The bathrooms were clean.
Dawn W — Google review
Kinda what you would expect at a museum. Nice layout, guys up front were friendly and enthusiastic.
Billy D — Google review
Great stop for adults.. but if you have kids, there is little to do to entertain them while you soak in the info. I had to take pictures of everything so I could catch up later. My small ones were antsy to leave, but my middle schooler was engaged. The outside cabin and grounds were fun! We saw cotton and tobacco plants and a cabin from the era. Would love to see this lovely place incorporate more for smaller minds. Thank you for educating us!! We appreciate you!
Katy C — Google review
If you visit here - check out the multi site discount to visit this location plus the two sites in Richmond, too: the Confederate White House and Tredegar Museum. A small site but very informative - to include General Lee's sword and uniform that he wore to the surrender. There is a gift shop and free public WiFi - no theater movie experience but a short video on loop. Staff were friendly and helpful, too..!
Ryan S — Google review
This museum packs a punch. A number of original pieces making this a must see in Appomattox. I won't spoil it but Lee's uniform and sword at the surrender are just a few items here. Don't be turned off by the admission fee, you'll be glad to took the time.
David — Google review
This museum has the most impressive collection of artifacts from the Civil War that I have ever seen!!! From General Lee's actual sword, officer & soldier uniforms from both sides of the conflict, and even ACTUAL battle flags & documents from different units throughout the war!!! The museum is extremely well laid out & clean, the staff friendly, and everything well kept. A definite must see for any historian, history buff, military history scholar... really just everybody!!!!!! Extremely informative about the Civil War, what led up to it, it's impact on everyone involved, the happenings after the war, & it's impact on life today!!!

The Appomattox County Historical Society, located in a charming historic building, is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. Housed in the old Appomattox jail building, this architecturally unique museum showcases an array of exhibits covering the county's rich past. Visitors can explore Civil War history and relics from daily life in a bygone era. The society offers a fascinating glimpse into the area's founding days and its significant role in historical events.
We stopped in late Saturday afternoon close to closing time. The staff person was extremely gracious and let us in and let us stay late. The young woman was knowledgeable about the displays. We had a good talk remembering about the older tools and items on display. It gave us a good start on our weekend tour of the city’s sites.

An absolute must visit for all historically minded people. My wife and I had an amazing experience just relaxing and soaking up the ambience of the current community as well as the historical story of this place. We never planned on stopping here specifically, but after visiting the main National Park we drifted over to this little gem of an area afterwards. People were very nice and it was a excellent way to spend a beautiful few hours strolling and enjoying the atmosphere. Take the time to grab a coffee and enjoy this wonderful southern downtown, it's worth it.
Calvin B — Google review
Enjoyed walking around and seeing the buildings and the battlefield. Would love to see a large reenactment there. Plenty of space for reenactors to camp and would generate a lot of revenue for the park and the town. A reenactment with living historians would be educational for visitors. Loved "The Silent Witness" and bought the doll.
Renee S — Google review
I have a feeling of greatness on this place. Many historical exhibits to see where you appreciate their bravery and rights.

Across from the center is the Appomattox County Courthouse Historical Park, featuring original and reconstructed buildings from the Battle of Appomattox Court House.
It was the most enjoyable experience to visit the Appomattox Visitor Center. The lady was very down to earth she seemed to know a lot about her hometown and shared stories about it. She was most helpful with the questions that I wanted answered. The Visitor Center was nice and clean and bright and had lots of brochures from areas all around the state. I'm glad that my husband and I decided to stop into the center

Granny Bee's LLC, a charming diner located on Main Street in Appomattox, has recently been taken over by a mother-daughter duo with a background as waitresses. This cozy restaurant has been serving up delicious homemade meals since 1990 and is known for making visitors feel right at home. Whether you're stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Granny Bee's promises to treat you to a delightful dining experience.
Perfect “meat and three” with comfort food and a quaint atmosphere. I went with all vegetables, very tasty. The cornbread was probably my favorite thing the best I have ever eaten, buttery and moist. Yes, I asked for another and my sweet server brought it. My only regret was after those two slices of cornbread I had no room for dessert.
Steve B — Google review
Great little mom and pop restaurant in downtown historic Appomattox Virginia. Friendly service and the flood was great. They serve breakfast all day. Love coming here when I'm in town to visit family.
A.J. H — Google review
Food was great, our waitress even wrote a happy birthday note for my husband. Love a good country diner! And Granny Bee's is definitely it.
Melissa T — Google review
The food was good. The onion rings could be cooked a little longer, I thought, but my husband said they were fine. The food took longer than expected, maybe because I was hungry. Everything was made to order and really pretty good. The restaurant has some really nice pictures on all the walls. The two ladies serving were very nice.
Johan W — Google review
Traveling through town and stopped for breakfast. It wasn't very busy. Food was served fairly quickly. The coffee was average. The biscuits with sausage gravy had only 2 small pieces of sausage. The biscuits were light and fluffy. Omelets were tasty and large. Rye toast was good. Server was very friendly and efficient.
Barb C — Google review
We were visiting the Appomattox Courthouse park and stopped in for lunch. My husband had the special Country fried steak which he said was AMAZING! I had the veggie plate and loved every bite . The stewed tomatoes were especially delicious, they tasted just like my grandma used to to make !
Ginger B — Google review
My husband and I stopped in here with our 1.5 year old son to grab some dinner. We live a town over and just happened to be in town for an event and decided to eat dinner before heading home. The menu is your general country cooking: pot roast, fried fish, shrimp, hamburger steak, etc. We started off with an order of fried oysters, which were excellent. We were also served warm rolls among our arrival, which were great. A few minutes later I got my roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans, and gravy. The green beans were canned but tasty. The mashed potatoes were instant and bland. And the roast beef was just 2 slices of tough deli roast beef with gravy on it. It was well over 15 minutes when my husband and son’s meals came out. I don’t like eating before my son and husband, so I waited. My husband got the hamburger steak with fries and green beans. They brought out the hamburger steak with onion rings and fries. My husband told her he asked for green beans, and she says “oh, I wrote onion rings.” And he said, nicely, “I’m sorry, I did say green beans though.” And she said “okay, do you want onion rings?” And he said “I would like to have green beans because I was gonna give some to my son” and she said “so you want green beans too?” And he said yes. And she walked away and finally got the green beans. My son had no complaints. Lol he’s not a picky eater and devoured his fried catfish, macaroni salad, some green beans, and baked apples. We had to go to the counter for a sweet tea refill, boxes, and ketchup throughout the meal because the server wouldn’t come to the table. She was friendly but not very efficient for sure. The 6 piece fried oysters, 2 sweet teas, a kids meal, and 2 dinners was all under $50, so the price was pretty good. Overall I doubt we’ll come back if we’re in the area, but it definitely left us fed with large portions and a decent price. ETA: The bread basket had a couple napkins in it with the bread on top, and the basket underneath was caked in food debris and dust/whatever else. It was pretty unsanitary.

This place is MAGIC!!!! IT'S REAL FOOD!!!!! It's not fancy... but the service is friendly and welcoming and the food is made with LOVE!!!! This was exactly the home cooked meal we craved tonight! And the Scotch Eggs were out of this world! Every bite of everything was simply perfect! We thank you for putting so much love and care into you real food!!!!! Such an excellent dinner!!!

I went here based on the strength of the reviews when I went to the National Park around the 160th anniversary. It seemed mostly locals. The food was so so. I had chicken salad and cole slaw. Nothing awesome not horrible so middle review. The service was good and the atmosphere seemed kind of plain. Not sure I'd return.
Mike M — Google review
We met up with some friends to wander the ghost town in Pamplin & walk some of the High Bridge trail and stumbled upon the Rail Yard. I had the vegetarian combination with butter beans, mac-n-cheese, corn pudding and some baked apples. The rest of the table opted for BBQ sandwiches as well as some sides. The meat eaters said the BBQ sandwiches were great and they came with an assortment of sauces. The mac-n-cheese was creamy, cheesy and with shell pasta (there is an elbow shortage I am told), both of us that ordered it enjoyed it. We all agreed the corn pudding was the star of the meal. I decided to order a Blueberry biscuit. The biscuit itself was amazing. The perfect balance of sweetness and moisture. The icing was lacking but maybe it was just off that day. Service was great. Price was great. Food was great. Oh, and the nerd in us really dug the antique train items on display. Nice addition of Americana flair. Well done.
Sara M — Google review
The cheese burger was big and juicy, the turnip greens were truly excellent, and the server was beautiful and efficient. The building was a bit seedy but seemed to be clean. I liked the railroad motif. A nice small town restaurant with a homey Southern vibe. Highly recommended.
Basil M — Google review
My husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try on our trip.. The food was good.. however the server never came back to check on us and we were the only ones there.. the restroom was not clean.. least to say we will not be going back
SYU B — Google review
Just to add to my previous review. This restaurant is homemade everything, good portions, and priced perfectly. The blueberry biscuits were the best we have ever had! Ordered takeout and it was ready when they promised, still hot when we got home, big portions and very tasty!

It's currently open for eat in however I ordered to go while my son ate in. The waitress was friendly and courteous. My son said his food was good and mine looks fantastic! The menu offers a variety of food to choose from. If I lived closer I'd definitely eat here often.

Mexican restaurant
Taco Wagon is a highly recommended restaurant in Appomattox, Virginia, known for its superior Mexican cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors have praised the friendly service provided by Mario and his team, making customers feel like part of the family. The menu features generous portions, with the wagon fajitas being particularly popular. The restaurant also caters to families with kid-friendly meals and high chairs available.
Food here is delicious and an excellent value! I highly recommend the premium guacamole dip, it’s perfect for sharing. Mario’s Burrito, the Burrito Grande, and the veggie fajitas are all flavorful, generous, and satisfying. Definitely worth a visit!
Jonathan R — Google review
Food was mostly very good. I wish the meat in my biria tacos was chopped finer, it was very chunky and leaned to the drier side of the scale which isn’t why I order biria tacos. The shrimp-corn dip is outstanding. The margaritas are strong and delicious. Unfortunately on our visit the service was hurried and inefficient. Two different workers came to take our initial drink order, we had to ask for waters which were never refilled, we had to ask for plates so that we could share our appetizers. We had a lot of staff doing drive by check-ins but we never felt like we had an actual server that knew what was happening at our table. We were never asked if we wanted dessert, a check was unceremoniously dropped at our table. It was very reasonable for the amount of food and drink we had. I certainly can’t complain about the prices. The dining room definitely has good tables and bad tables as far as the vibe goes. It would be awesome to see some more character added to the space. There is a lot of color but not much comfort. It’s basically just a big room with a ton of tables and chairs. The lights were very very bright at our table but across the aisle were cozy looking covered booths. If the whole space felt like those booths it would be a much more enjoyable experience. All in all I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town, even just for the shrimp dip. I just hope some things improve.
Jason — Google review
I would say it's definitely a pretty good Mexican restaurant. It's not like whoa best Mexican restaurant but it is pretty good and the prices are pretty nice. So if you want something more elevated than Plaza Azteca, then definitely come here. It's less busy, too, so food comes out pretty fast.

They started as a food truck and evolved to a full service restaurant. We frequent Taco Wagon. Great atmosphere! Service is spot on and food and drinks always delicious
Zina B — Google review
We eat here a lot—so often, in fact, that one of the staff members knows we only need one salsa with our chips and doesn't even have to ask anymore! It's those little details that really make this place special. The service is always great, the food is consistently spot-on, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We always leave happy!
Rhionna E — Google review
Was here from out of town. Had the corn dip which was good and so was the lunch special. Decent prices and portions.
Katie S — Google review
Very disappointed in my first dine experience. After we got seated we waited over 30 minutes before any server ever came to the table to even ask us for our drink order ! As we looked around noticing a bunch of people seated after us get service immediately, once the server came over her attitude was horrible and it was obvious she did not want to be waiting on us , after the order was placed it was an additional 30-40 minutes before the food ever came, meanwhile people across from us had their food with 15min of being seated. Definitely felt unwanted and comfortable, wouldn’t recommend , felt racist
Ashley S — Google review
The Mexican food is absolutely delicious and authentic. The enchilada sauce is homemade and boasts a wonderful flavor. The wagon burrito is quite filling, featuring excellent ingredients. The Del Mar appetizer offers a generous portion and delightful seafood and cheese flavors.

Nice clean store. Friendly helpful staff. Parking was a bit confusing due to trucks coming in from the highway and some work being done on lot. Good pit stop to stretch our legs and get snacks.

Nice and clean little park. We stopped there to eat lunch. They have covered picnic tables. A play area for the kids.

This park is great place for the kids to run and play. They have a pavilion with lots of picnic tables under the shade .great place for parties they also have grills to cook out on. Different play areas for different age ranges. smaller area for the little ones is gated so they can't just run out. Bathrooms are very nice an AC and always clean. They have cameras up pointing at all the different areas so you feel very safe there.
Pam W — Google review
This park is great. There's never any bugs around, there are two walking/jogging paths. One at the upper playgrounds and another at the lower. Very pet friendly, newer equipment (lower parks swings are very squeaky. Don't worry, I'm bringing WD-40 the next time for sure.)
Austin C — Google review
Nice. Simple safe could use a few more extravagant toys like the merry-go-round seesaw. Something for bigger kids and more seating

Very nice since upgrade. Big hard covered picnic area a big clean rest rooms. Lots of swings, slides, and stuff to climb on and around. An old NS caboose and a wooden rail car. Very well maintained, closes at dark.

The place has undergone some improvements under new ownership and is now a popular spot for kids and birthday parties. It offers affordable skating lessons on Sundays and features a large, well-maintained floor with cash-only payment option but with an ATM available.
Small family owned skating rink. Not crowded at all. They give skating lessons and sometimes the instructors are the son and daughter of the owner who happen to be Olympic skating champions. Love this place!!

Reasonable price. Snack stand out of a lot of stuff, but honestly at a place like this having any options is fine. Cash only at the café. They take cards for skating/rental costs. Need cash for the arcade if you want to play. I did see an atm there.

I love skating here! The floor is huge and very nice. The staff are amazing people that really care about the community and the sport. I have skated at a lot of different rinks in the U.S. and this rink has been by far the best. I highly recommend this rink and it is great for the entire family.🤗

Clean, professional, and polite. The staff took walk ins in order of arrival. The salon was clean and orderly. Everyone was polite and did exactly what was requested. I am on vacation and didnt have time to stop at my regular salon. I am very pleased with the short wait time, amd quality of service. They also didn’t try to sell me on more expensive services.

C did a great job! I got a fill and gel polish; very pleased with the turnout. He was short handed but feathered everyone in graceful. The color in this photo does not do it justice - it's beautiful.
R M — Google review
Edit: update I’m changing it to a one star I went back a few months later for a manicure. The next day the nail polish started to peel. The color I chose claimed to be OPI. Never had that issue before. I will go to Lynchburg from here on out. I’m rating 3 because I feel that no real effort was put into my nails. I went in for a soak off and a manicure. I was waiting 30 minutes before being asked what do I need. I told them a soak off and mani. I waited an additional 25 minutes then was told it would take 45 minutes to soak off my nails when they could have done that while I was waiting. The gel that I chose was very cheap and I mean cheap. It pealed off within 3 days and my natural nails broke. So now I’m walking around with some half pained nails.
Jodi L — Google review
I had a wonderful experience at tnt nails. The staff were friendly, professional, and did a great job on my pedicure. The salon was clean and well-organized. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality nail care and great service!
Theresa — Google review
I went here for a polish change, not a pedicure or anything like that. I asked Mr. pedicures were they said 25 I was just trying to get my fingernails to match my toes for my sister’s wedding so I didn’t get all that since I’ve just recently had a pedicure done and he charged me 30 at the end and I said sir, it says $10 for a polish change and he said yeah I know so really I think this place is scam artist just trying to make money in a small town which is messed up. You should never lie to a customer and charge them or at the end. I will never be going back here and I usually do not ever leave terrible reviews, but this place was just terrible.!!!

They did a great job. He took his time doing my nails and they came out great. Very quiet and peaceful which allowed me to relax while getting my nails done. Would recommend. 👌🏼
Kayla — Google review
Not impressed, they only have 2 people working so wait times are unreal, three people walked out because of said times. I had acrylic nails already and went in for a fill, they did not completely fill them, they left nail polish on my fingers, they smudged the design and did not fix it. My sister and I both asked for designs and were told they don't do designs, all I wanted was Mickey mouse ears, the lady had to come over to do the design then screwed it up, my sister had gems on hers and they fell off right away. My mother who gets her nails done weekly said this was the worst nail job she ever had. We will not come back. I do not recommend.

Item not labeled accurately. I found a lavender chenille bedspread it was labeled F. I thought that meant for full sized. It smelled a little musty but I have a sense nose so I purchased it and washed it with lysol laundry sanitizer. After 3 cycles in the dryer it was still damp, I understand how it ended up smelling musty. So I draped it over a bunch of chairs spread out in my living room. It is huge! It has to be King size. I tried it on my Queen sized bed and it is way to big. It might even be a California King. I can't use it and I saw the sign that there are no returns when I purchased it. I am very disappointed.

Appomattox Court House National Historical Park is a living museum that commemorates the surrender that ended the Civil War. The park features over two dozen restored buildings, including homes, businesses, and a tavern, some of which are open to visitors and furnished with original items from 1865. The McLean House in the town of Appomattox Court House is where General Robert E Lee surrendered to General Ulysses S Grant, marking a pivotal moment in American history.
I visited with friends on a Monday in March and was immensely impressed with one of the National Parks I had wanted to visit for many years. Although a number of structures have been rebuilt, the history of this unique moment in the American story comes to life. Although guided tours are available, I preferred the self-guided option to explore at my own pace. It is definitely beneficial starting at the Visitor Center in the courthouse building before you start your tour. The short film is worth the watch.

Popular with fishing enthusiasts, this woodland park also offers hiking, horse riding & camping.
Stayed for four nights at the Redbud loop of campsites and had a wonderful time. The campsites had both water and power with plenty of room for a car and camper or two cars. The lake and facilities were all great. All of the restrooms were well kept and clean. The camp office/store had a good variety of things from bait and fishing gear to snacks and gifts. This is an excellent place with lots so do for the whole family. There's a dedicated swimming area with floats for the kids to play on as well as a playground. For the adults, there are plenty of benches and shaded picnic areas as well as a horseshoe pit and hiking trails ranging from 1/4 to 6+ miles. The park also connects to the Carter Taylor trail a 10 mile loop. All of the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, providing tips and recommendations on things to see and good fishing spots. All in all, I had a great experience and will definitely be back soon.

Great lake for paddling around on and fishing. First time fishing this lake and I was pretty happy with it. Multiple ways to launch your canoes or kayaks into the water. Dedicated boat ramp and sandy beach for launching. There is a dock they will let you tie to as well. No gas powered motors which worked fine for me. Makes less wake for the kids who are just being introduced to kayaking. They were incredibly comfortable on the calm water. Swimming area is always a hit too. Plenty of park rangers which helps keep it a family friendly atmosphere but its the Rangers are not over bearing so everyone still gets to enjoy their time there. Id recommend it anytime. Plenty of places for trash disposal as well which to me was a huge plus. Seems like you can't do anything these days without amassing a decent pile of garbage.

My wife and I just returned this afternoon from a Thursday thru Sunday camping trip at Holiday Lake State Park. Overall it was another great stay at a Virginia State Park. We booked this last of the season trip on someone's cancellation and accepted the site we set up in based on the online photo. We did the 6.5 mile Lakeshore hike which was beautiful this time of year. But there is only one thing that would have made this trip better which is better non-gravel road direction into the park. Google offers two quicker routes to the park from our home base in Charlottesville VA but both are eventually leading us onto dusty gravel roads. The actual website for Holiday Lake State Park should be updated to give campers a choice. Quick and dusty or 15 minutes longer and dust free. Again, beautiful park with plenty of lake recreation opportunities. We will return at some point.
Michael P — Google review
We are huge state park fans and we loved this park. The lake is beautiful and great for fishing or boating. The beach area was really nice and clean. The lake trail was incredible, but several trees were down and there were a few spots that required walking in water to get across. We camped on Redbud 13, which was absolutely awful. It was tight for our 25 ft. TT and terribly unlevel. The bathhouses were clean and shower was roomy, and had great water pressure. We will definitely come back, but we will definitely stay at another campsite.
Sue M — Google review
Camping - Red bud is good for tents, horrible for an rv. It is a single lane road with 1' drop offs on each side, making it all but impossible to back an rv greater than 20' into your site. When you are finally in, your steps end no more than 2' from the wood line. The picnic table and fire ring are behind your rv. The mens room was atrocious. Filthy, covered in literally 100s of gnats. Most of the sites were horribly unlevel. There are a few pull thru sites in a loop at the back of the campground, but seem to be an afterthought, no shade, no character, very close together. Laurel Ridge is much much better for rvs. Bathroom is new looking. Only problem is very few spaces. The beach area and boat ramp are very good. Although the bathroom there was dated, it was clean and in working order. All the staff I interacted with were fantastic, very helpful and caring. The hiking trails were well maintained and marked. Bottom line; do not use Red Bud for RV camping. Hopefully DCR will rennovate the camping facilities in the near future.

Park
2021 We found this little park while trying to find a place to eat take out food that we had bought. We had a nicely shaded picnic table to sit at while a gentle breeze kept us cool in the summer sun. The park has a good sized shelter with plenty of picnic tables. I can imagine the stage with a local band playing crowd favorites on a relaxing evening. We will be back here to visit at some point. 2022-06 update: we came back here with a picnic lunch. What a great place to stop for a short lunch.
