The 45 best beaches in and around Ramatuelle

We visited Friday 22nd August and went to the naturist section which there are 2 off both are a right mix of n7de and textiles which is fine, but what really put us off was the people with dogs who did not lift the poos they just left them or even worse covered it with sand.

One of the best beaches in the Saint Tropez / Ramatuelle area. Just stunningly, but busy.

It is a nice beach but beware bring water and anything else you may need. We had a reservation at Nikki Beach but before that all of the ‘beach clubs’ won’t really even let you buy water or a drink, and renting chairs at them is very expensive.

Superb beach - totally clean water, nice waves, easy to walk in and all of the services you may need: ample parking (8 hours for roughly 20€, 30 min free), life savers services along the beach, an ice man running by with a cart and several clubs where you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas plus have expensive lunches. Awesome place.

Nice beach, lots of parking

The beach Pampelonne Beach I visited today was absolutely splendid. The azure waters of the ocean were crystal clear and full of life. The pristine shores were immaculate, and the velvety sand felt luxurious under my feet. Not a single rock could be found anywhere, enhancing the beach's allure. I highly recommend this beach as a must-visit destination.

Really beautiful beach! Color of water is gorgeous, it’s soo warm and clean. Everywhere ships. Beach clubs on the left and right, very convenient. Not soo crowded. Recommend that spot.

It's very crowded in the restaurant. Chaotic at times with all the waiters and people and singers. We sat closer to the beach, which was nicer. The food is ok. We lived the grilled sea bass and the artichoke. The rest was ok. The beach they have is also very nice with a nice gift shop. There is valet parking for free.

Disappointed as this was very hyped on social media and trip site reviews. Bland food. Bland veal Milanese, bland pasta (terrible), bland frites. The food came out very quickly, suggesting that it was already prepared—gross! And €16 water is ridiculous. Overhyped and underdelivered. However, the dessert was good, although extremely overpriced (€24 per plate). Will not return. BEACH CLUB: Will also not return. It’s cushions on the floor…no elevation.

You come here for the vibes but the food is also surprisingly good. I would probably stick to shellfish here as my husband loved his mussels but my fish was a bit tough even though it was cooked on a skewer. Artichokes and the green salad were great and of course the live music and ambiance is just unmatched. Service is a bit slow but I don’t blame the staff as the place is clearly always busy.

What can you say that hasn’t been said before …. Spent the day here on the beach and then had a looooong and leisurely lunch. Beautifully effortless place to spend the day to enjoy the sun ☀️ and a delicious lunch. Can’t wait to go back and would recommend to anyone who wants to experience a classic Saint Tropez beach club

Fantastic and chic restaurant!! Easily the best beach side restaurant of our St Tropez visit.

Honestly this place is very very sadly there only for the atmosphere. And even this got worse. Tables were very close together so you cannot go to the toilet without asking other seating guests to let someone through. The food and service is just nothing more than a catastrophe. ‘Home made fries’ cold. Sole grilled cold. Chicken far away from tasty. Really?!? It was soooo poor of taste and optic. Waiters were inattentive. Unfortunately there is nothing more to add.

Got to the beach club bright and early, with a reservation so I could get a spot directly on the front row. The club doesn’t provide towels, so visitors are subjected to buying the 100 euro ones in the gift shop. Because of this, vendors stalk this beach club the entire day, offering to sell towels. Between 10am-11am, there were maybe 5 people there, and the man stood directly in front of me, ruining my view, texting on his phone, waiting for more visitors to arrive. He then spent there entire day walking up and down our section of beach, soliciting. I took a walk passed 4 other beach clubs and none of them had this happening, presumably because Le Club 55 has the highest end clientele, but also because they famously don’t have towels when you rent chairs. I was not alone in being annoyed by this, and the number of vendors grew by the end of the day, including a couple who walk by offering massages and others had dresses and jewelry. But nothing is like the towel guys, who literally stand in your view THE ENTIRE DAY, offering towels to the same people who clearly already have towels and haven’t moved. As I tried to nod off around 3, two of them were talking loudly between themselves, about 10 yards away from each other, totally killing the relaxing sounds of the waves. I was very surprised to be at what is supposed to be the most exclusive private beach club in the French Riviera and not have management ask them to move along.

Our experience was unfortunately mediocre. While the service was commendable, we were disappointed by the food quality, especially given the high price tag. Most dishes were very average and bland, failing to meet our expectations. Considering the cost, it simply wasn't worth it. Portions was generous but all in all, it fell short of delivering the value we anticipated.

We went to the cafe to eat lunch, we have been coming for many many years. Just really disappointing what happened as we had a lovely time and meal as usual. Then the bill came and the waiter asked ‘ would you like to add a tip? ‘ which we thought was alittle strange as in France tips are included in the service charge. He then carried on to say yes we split the cost so for example I would only get 30 p etc. So we decided to be nice and give a tip even though we didn’t understand service charge not being included. Then upon paying and receiving the receipt it said printed (in French) service charge included !!!! So this waiter who thought we were just tourists and didn’t think we can read and understand French had tried to make us pay more thinking he would get away with it. We didn’t mention anything to him / going to let it slide but honestly this is just awful taking advantage of tourists like that.. we were really disappointed and shocked.

Lovely environment. The food is ok, not the best. More specifically, the tuna sushi was not fresh at all. Everything else was fine. It's also interesting that they have models walk around the tables modeling the cloths being sold next door store.

I wanted to spend my birthday with my family for lunch, but pretty much everything was a total disaster. Food was average, hot dishes were served cold. The changing rooms and restrooms were not cleaned once during the entire day. I spent a total of EUR 700.- for the whole day and won‘t come back after this expirience

It's a very good place to have fun, everything was delicious, I especially liked the "NIKKI BEACH'S FAMOUS CHICKEN SATAY". The waiters are very funny and polite. One note I have is about the toilet cleaners. I asked to charge my phone and they asked me for money, I didn't have cash and I told them that I would pay by card. They refused me and did not even charge my phone. I think this behavior is not suitable for your facility and I hope it won't happen again on the next visit. This is the only reason why I give you a relatively low rating. Thank you

Beautiful spot as Nikki Beach is generally renowned for, with bohemian-chic decor, and a relaxed but luxe atmosphere. The food was honestly one of the best I've had in SoF, good food, in my opinion, is a commodity in this region! Service... huumm... the security guy at the door was exceptionally rude and dismissing, disgraceful behaviour for such a beautiful place. The hostess was lovely and the wait staff were nice enough but rushed from table to table. Not really taking the time to deliver "The Nikki Beach" experience. I've been to a few of these and this particular one was definitely my least favourite.

Ohhhhh Nikki Beach. Today the place lived up to its name. Everything perfect. Service unbeliavable, food was extremely good and armosphere unparalelled. We had such a great time there.

I arrived late and did not try the food, so my review concerns only the place itself. I was really surprised: there is not even a sea view. The whole club is fenced off, so you could just as well place it in the middle of a field or desert — it would make no difference. For me, a beach club means enjoying the sea, but here you only see walls and also trees. Honestly, I don’t understand why people choose to rent beds there instead of walking 100m through the dunes to reach the actual beach clubs by the sea, where DJ sets and nice atmosphere are also offered.

Great Vibes and Atmosphere – Just a Bit Pricey ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic time at Nikki Beach in St. Tropez — the energy, the music, and the setting are exactly what you’d expect from a world-famous beach club. The decor is beautiful, the crowd is stylish, and the whole place gives off that luxurious summer vibe. The food and drinks were delicious (especially the sushi platters and rosé), and the staff were mostly friendly and attentive, even during the busy hours. It’s a great spot to celebrate with friends or enjoy a lively afternoon under the sun. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is the price — it’s definitely on the expensive side, even for St. Tropez. You’re paying for the brand and the scene, which is fine as long as you know what to expect.

Not worth a visit ! We went for lunch , food was less than average. Overpriced compared to the quality No vibes, it was a boring DJ. Also once we ordered the bill, the waiter asked if he could round it up ( which is not normal)

Great beach club experience in St Tropez ☀️ There are many beach clubs to choose from and this one def is worth a try. The food and service was excellent and the shade really helps have a comfortable experience. All the food was tasty but we all know it’s the party not the food we go for

Overhyped, overpriced, and deeply underwhelming. This place is one of those places that wants to give off a wow-effect, luxurious, exclusive, experiential, but in reality, it falls flat on every front. What you actually get is a surface-level show wrapped in a disappointing package. The service started out promising — overly attentive waiters refilling water glasses after a single sip, which felt more performative than genuinely considerate. It quickly became clear it was all for the show. I ordered a €90 steak, which arrived with no sides, no sauce. When I politely asked about the sauce mentioned on the menu as part of the meal, the waiter simply said, “I’m sorry.” No follow-up. No solution. Nothing. Then came the truly baffling part: we watched a waiter take ice from our own ice holder, the one used to chill wine & water bottles, and use that ice to cool down a wine glass before pouring wine OVER THAT ICE. Directly from the same ice that had dirty bottles sitting in it. Hygiene? Not a priority here, apparently. At the end, my friends ordered an iced latte, which was absurdly overpriced and quite literally undrinkable. It tasted like watered down coffee leftovers. When the waiter asked if she liked it and she said “no,” his response was “Are you sure?” And then left. The music was blasting so loud I couldn’t hear my own thoughts, let alone have a conversation with the person next to me. It wasn’t a vibe, it was a headache. I’m not a high-maintenance diner. I enjoy everything from street food to high-end experiences, as long as the quality and care are there. This place markets itself as an “experience,” but the only thing I experienced was regret. We also stayed for the party afterward, and honestly? Just as underwhelming. Most people were glued to their phones, and the whole atmosphere felt disconnected and empty. It didn’t feel like fun, just people pretending to have it. Save your money, your time, and your expectations.

Spent a wonderful day at Verde Beach — the setting is pure St Tropez magic: turquoise sea, soft sand, and chic bohemian décor that makes you want to stay forever. The food was outstanding, fresh and full of flavour, and the atmosphere moved from calm morning vibes to an afternoon party with great music and energy. Sunbeds were super comfortable and perfect for relaxing. The service was friendly, though at times a little slow for a place of this level — but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. A spot I’d happily come back to on my next trip.

The beach itself is beautiful and water was clear and absolutely perfect. I bought chairs in the front for me and my friends, which were 130 euros each. I traveled here from Nice, which took about 1.5 hours from our hotel. So for the bad… Food - you’re paying for location, not the quality of food. Food was very subpar and quite literally expensive for no reason. Service - server asked for a tip, yet did absolutely nothing. Atmosphere- everyone was obnoxiously loud and tried to brag about money they had. If you want to be surrounded by self-centered people, this is your spot.

Absolutely loved this place beautiful venue in a a great location. Staff were exceptionally good very friendly not sure why it does not feature in top beach clubs in St Tropez it certainly warrants it. Food was delicious and the ongoing entertainment was excellent and not too intrusive just great fun

Daayum, this beach club is fire! People dancing on the tables, every 5 minutes something cool happens, like dancers in full costume coming in to the tables to dance with the crowd, conga drum player arriving on the scene, chic peopll coming and going from the beach access and back, this place is crazy. They let us in for free without a table booking, just to have drinks at the bar, which was cool.

We’ve been coming to Cabane Bambou for several years, and it never disappoints. It’s become our tradition to stop here as soon as we arrive on the Côte d’Azur. The staff at the restaurant are always friendly and attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere with a nice mix of people makes it a perfect start to the holiday. We love the menu — especially the octopus, which remains a favorite — and the house rosé is always a hit. Service is quick, and everything feels easy and effortless. We also enjoy renting a day bed at the beach, where the service and comfort are just as great. What really made this last visit special: we could bring our one-year-old dog! There were several other dogs around, and even the owner has a puppy. Watching them play on the beach was such a joy. At the restaurant, our dog sat calmly with us in the shade — no issues at all. All in all, the quality and pricing feel very fair compared to other beach clubs in Pampelonne. We’ll keep coming back!

Chill vibes. If you’re looking to avoid the sound of bass pounding through speakers at the other beach bars then come here. Really relaxed energy, excellent cocktails, good food. Nice place to be during the day.

Love, LOVE Cabane Bambou! While on our favs list for few summers now, this year, it catapulted to the very top. There are many beach clubs and restaurant options along the beautiful Pampelonne, but honestly this year, we found ourselves asking, “why aren’t we at Bambou” when frequenting other spots (well, really only one other, but this review isn’t about throwing shade to others). Why do we love it? Under Edmond and Edgar’s leadership, the vibe, layout, service, and the food —especially the food options at the beach bar—make a day at Cabane Bambou a literal slice of heaven. Also, extra props to Léo for ensuring each visit was extraordinarily special. Plus Ange’s mad cocktail skills and everyone else! Merci pour tout!

If shabby chic is your thing, you'll enjoy this place. Leave high heels at home, as they won't enjoy the walk to the restaurant. The service was, true to the french fashion, annoyed. There was nothing wrong about most of the dishes that we ordered.

Coziest beach lounge and restaurant in St Tropez 🥰💕 This place felt like a warm living room Loved it so much, vibes were incredible, food is awesome and well priced. Cocktails are also well made. Service, unlike other parts of glitzy St Tropez was so personal and inviting. Highly recommend :)

Lovely day spent at this beautiful beach club. A warm welcome & very accommodating beachside team. Nothing too much trouble. Lunch was delicious, but took a lot longer than we expected. Didn’t detract from a very mellow day. We thoroughly enjoyed it & would go back in a heartbeat. Thank-you Team!

I visited this restaurant last year and was thoroughly impressed – the food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Unfortunately, my recent visit was a stark contrast. Prices have gone up significantly, but the quality and attention to detail have gone in the opposite direction. The service felt indifferent and unengaged, lacking the warmth and professionalism you’d expect at this price point. The dishes, while still presented well, lacked the soul and finesse that once set this place apart. Given the abundance of high-end dining options in St. Tropez, this restaurant no longer justifies its price tag. Sadly, it feels like it’s relying on its past reputation rather than continuing to earn it.

Terrible experience. Staff was rude to the point of being aggressive — we were forced to sit in the back even though plenty of better spots were free. When we simply tried to rinse off sand from our feet, the staff reacted harshly and told us we couldn’t. €7 just to park, absurdly overpriced everything, and a generally mafioso atmosphere. Felt more like being controlled than being served. We won’t be back.

The server or the manger wasn’t pleasant from the beginning till the end. He was treating us like shit. The food wasn’t as expected and overpriced. I was always smiling and never get a smile back. He ruined the ambiance between me and my son and my husband. I won’t come back to be humiliated again.

Rude and bitter service, especially unacceptable in peak summer season. Poor value for money. The lamb was overwhelmingly fatty, and while the fish was decent, it was nowhere near worth €40. Not up to standard. Definitely not recommended.

Fantastic spot with beaches and cliffs at the top as a reward and climate ... to be avoided on weekends and bank holidays though !

I walked to the top at Cap Taillat, and the view there is amazing, even though it's not that much heigher than sea level. When the weather is great, the water is crystal clear. Really a nice 'mini-hike'.

Amazing waters very tranquile place

Totally worth the effort for an unforgettable beach experience. We visited in August 2020 with our 8 year old twins and had a gorgeous day here. We tried to arrive early as others had suggested but only managed to make it around 10.30am. We ended up in a traffic queue that we discovered was for the main Escalet beach parking lot, so we ended up driving around this queue to bypass the first parking lot. It is better to drive up the residential street where halfway up the top there is another booth that sells tickets for street parking further up. We paid 4 Euros (cash only) and managed to find the last spot on the residential street by 11am. From here, we walked down the residential road to the end, where you turn left down a dirt track and walk about 30 minutes along a coastal trail. This whole walking trail is just stunning and there are many coves that you can choose to stop at - some that allow nude sunbathing just FYI :) We opted to keep going until the very end at stop at the last cove just before Cap Taillait beach. There is no shade here but we set up a makeshift shelter with drift wood and towels. We stayed for about 5 hours, swimming and having a picnic and just enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The water is unbelievably clear. We saw 1 jellyfish so beware. After we hiked back to our car, we drove up to Ramatuelle village for dinner. A perfect day!

Stunning beach club and restaurant in a beautiful place. What really set this beach club apart from others was the food. St Tropez was our first stop on a 3 week trip in France and when we reminisce our favorite meals, we keep coming back to the lunch we had at Les Palmiers! The food was so fresh and flavorful. We shared the Niçoise salad which was on a bed of heirloom tomatoes instead of greens which was so tasty. For our mains we shared the lemon pasta topped with fresh raw tuna and the sea bass which came with a beurre blanc and a very flavorful rice with tomatoes, olives and herbs. Everything was perfect. Our favorite meal of the trip was at a beach club of all places. The beach club itself was beautiful and the service was attentive. We were there during the off-season so not sure if this review would have been different during its peak. For now, we will remember the amazing food and experience at Les Palmiers.

We came in a group of 12 for a bachelorette. We waited 45 minutes to be seated which killed our vibe. The staff at the front I found were rude and not friendly. We were getting frustrated and they suggested we can go by the bar for drinks which we did. Once we got in, the staff were excellent and friendly. We were then allocated our seats at the front. Again our waiter for the table was super nice. When it came to the bill they had charged us €460 for 1kg of lobster. On the menu it says €46 for 100g. When we asked for a portion of this they gave us a whole lobster which we didn’t realise so please clarify! They provided one ground of free shots. Food was excellent! 10/10 Atmosphere a bit dry considering it was a Saturday - it wasn’t packed. We still hyped up the place . You can dance on the tables and chairs. Would highly recommend the tequila cocktail ! Our bill was about €3,500 for 12 of us. I would probably come back here but not as a first choice, maybe just for the food and not party vibe. You can go onto the beach from there- so wear comfortable shoes!

Always one of our stops when we’re in St. Tropez You can’t go wrong going there. Just get ready to eat and drink. 3pm seating always the best.

A beautiful beach with a pretty view. However, be aware of the jellyfish - those may be very close to the beach. The stings after swimming were really painful.

Plage de Tahiti Parking: There is paid Parking right after you turn from the road (8 € for a day, cash only). Beach: Sandy with some dry seaweed flying when it's windy. It was windy when I was there. I saw people with dogs on the beach, so dogs-friendly. Sea: Sandy flat entrance with some seaweed at the shallow water. Good for kids or weak swimmers as it gets deep very gradually. Water was clean and refreshing on 30 June. No lifeguards. Food: There are plenty of cafes and beach clubs. Good choice to eat. But kitchen for all venues closes at 4pm, so if you coming for a whole day, take a snack. There are merchants walking on the beach selling snacks, cold drinks, ice cream, umbrellas, and tanning cream. Toilets: No free public toilets, only in restaurants.

Beautiful beach but way too crowded. Lots of fun people watching. Hard getting attention of waiters of you're in a small group as the bug spenders do take up their time and efforts which is understandable. Lovely, lovely beach but too crowded and crazy for us.

We went around 13:00, good time to find parking. Water was cold. Beach is very long, we went to the end, which proved to be the best spot, very sandy. An appreciated break from all the rocky beaches.

I enjoyed it here. It has a bit of an old school vibe, with a more mature crowd. In other words, no influencers taking endless selfies, no champagne showers. There was a bit of a party feel near the bar, with music and energy, but nothing over the top. You can have a drink, enjoy the buzz for a bit, then head back to your sunbed and relax, best of both worlds. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was ok, nothing special. I had a salade niçoise and struggled to find the tuna, to be honest. I would definitely go back.

Absolutely a 5 star experience. The communication with Maxime via email was phenomenal. The beach club is pristine and beautiful. The chairs were extremely comfortable and being set back slightly off the water made it feel more private and personal. The food was delicious and the entire staff was a pleasure! Will be recommending this beach club to everyone!! Fantastic job.

Had to write a review because of what a lovely experience we had here! I spent hours researching the best beach club for me and family for a one day visit to St Tropez from Nice. Two adults and two teenagers wanting to enjoy the beach and not interested in a heavy party scene. We were looking for good food, relaxing atmosphere and clean facilities. This place far exceeded our expectations. I called the morning we were arriving and they happened to have availability for four sunbeds. 35 euro per bed and if you get two the umbrella is included. The food was delicious and fresh and pricing the same as everywhere else in the area. The bathrooms were extremely clean and clean towels were available for rental. All in all a perfect day enjoying the natural beauties for the beach!

We came across this place on a very busy Sunday while looking for sunbeds for the day. From the first call to the warm welcome when we arrived, everyone was so kind and helpful. It’s a chill and relaxing beach with no unnecessary loud music – just the perfect atmosphere to unwind. The food was also very good and reasonably priced for Saint-Tropez. Overall, a friendly, calm, and enjoyable beach experience. Highly recommended!

The one small thing that would add to the experience would be expanded shower facilities. Highly recommend it!

Such a beautiful beach! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere so peaceful, we spent the most wonderful day here and can’t wait to come back. The only downside is that there’s no network in the area and no WiFi, which makes it a bit inconvenient

One of my top 3 beach in Saint Tropez. Great food, great atmosphere and service. Beautiful location, with its white decoration. It is just a great place with a good party on second service (not wild, just the perfect warm up for the evening). Don't miss it when going to Saint-Tropez. It is much better than Club 55 (in my mind it replaced it as the reference in that kind of restaurant).

Loulou Plage & Restaurant, a beach club and restaurant in Saint Tropez. Casual and relaxed ambiance. Excellent service. The restaurant serves mediterranean cuisine. The food was excellent; there was not a single dish that we didn’t like.

Nice beach club, food is good, beach section is neat, with first row beach chairs at EUR 80 a piece (including umbrella), good music and vibes.

We had lunch during our vacation and really enjoyed it. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the food was good as well. The restaurant itself is also beautifully done. It is a quieter scene than other beach clubs around but good if you are looking for a more relaxing lunch for the day. They have loungers on the beach that you can rent for the day with drink service which is also nice.

Rude waiters, they treat us in a very bad way. The waiter stood over our table to remove the cutleries!!! He push us and give us the plates served in our hand instead of placing them on the table gently, unfortunately this restaurant lacks a lot of training for their staff.

Had a fantastic day in late September and enjoyed the best salade nicoise of our whole holidays. All food really good and nice selection of signature drinks. The atmosphere was nice, good crowd and overall great experience. Stayed at our lunch table for 3+ hours without being rushed out. Lady at the entrance could have been a touch friendlier but that’s about it.

Very bad service👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 We booked a table at 12:30pm for lunch for 8 people. We ordered lots of food and it was good but expensive. So everything was going pretty well until we were done eating halfway and relaxed a little bit looking at the view. Then waiters suddenly took our plates food without asking if we were done around 1:35pm. I tried to stop them. However, they started rushing us and said they had second round and told us to leave at 2:15pm. I understand they have a second round but they should inform us when we did the booking or when we arrived the restaurant or ordering the food. So we couldn’t finish our food and had to pack.

The beach is absolutely amazing. The staff are outstanding. I’ve honestly never experienced service this good. Every little detail is taken care of, and you really feel like you’re getting the full princess treatment. They constantly check in to make sure everything is perfect, and they truly do everything for you. The setting itself is stunning: calm, no annoying music, super clean, and with top-notch facilities. Everything was just flawless a truly unforgettable experience

We visited the restaurant yesterday. Honestly, it all got off to a bit of a rocky start. The two young ladies at the reception desk were not the most amenable when it came to requesting a table. They just said that second service would be at 3.30pm and it was only 1.45pm. I did however request to use the bathroom and they were happy for me to do so especially as presently I have difficulty walking unaided. On leaving the restaurant I bumped into who I presume is one of the senior managers at the restaurant, Charlotte, and she was amazing. She clearly explained that they were presently open for lunch and not just drinks which was perfect for us as were planning to get a bite to eat as well. From there on in, our experience was excellent. We ordered the Basi Spritz and a detox juice. The Spritz was on the sweet side but packed a punch. I had to add quite a lot of water to dilute the alcohol and sweetness but probably better that than a weak tasting insipid cocktail. The detox juice was presented very well in a mini patron bottle and was full of goodness especially beetroot. The Niçoise salad was fresh and I think the tuna was confited which made it succulent in and preserved the richness of the flavour. The vegetables and tomatoes were equally fresh and full of flavour. This was accompanied by the halloumi served on a bed of hummus. The halloumi pieces were of a decent thickness and grilled to ensure that they did not go rubbery and turn into squeaky cheese which is so off putting. Being on holiday, this all had to be accompanied by shoestring truffle fries! - a prerequisite of all vacations! It was a very quick meal as we had to get to our destination but we really enjoyed our time at La Reserve. It could have been such a different experience had I not bumped into Charlotte so I guess this review is totally down to her - bravo!!

What a day at a nice relaxing beach! The staff was great. We parked at the main parking lot, a 5 minute walk away, but what’s nice is that they have a buggy that can take you from the parking lot to the beach, very convenient and considerate. The beds are super comfy and beach service was quick. At lunch, same thing! We had the paella, so yummy. Artichoke as a starter was also great with three different dips. It was refreshing to be somewhere more relaxing rather than a loud place.

Pushy service at the restaurant. We were still eating some bread with butter and the waiter removed the plate I was eating from. Food was ok, a bit mediocre for the price point. The service at the beach was better. Comfortable beach chairs and towels. Music at the club was nice, however, the music from Verde beach (by far the tackiest place we went in Ramatuelle) next door is so loud that it overrules the vibe at La reserve a la plage. All in all I was not wowed.

Didn't eat here as we had lunch reservations at Nikki Beach, so no comments on the food. I felt like we were originally told there were no beach beds available because we had a kid with us. The only reason we were eventually offered a bed was because my friend and the manager had mutual friends. That's unacceptable. The place is beautiful, no doubt about it, but the initial interaction was a turn-off. The atmosphere is kinda boring compared to the other clubs around. I think I'll pass for next time.

Just a hike tour from the new harbor of St-Tropez to Canebiers" beach with Cruise ship Seven Seas Voyager's guests group You should try.

The water is very shallow and the bottom is filled with tangled vines. Transportation is also difficult. There are no facilities or amenities available. Definitely don't waste your time here.

Plage des Canoubiers is one of the most famous and popular of them all.

A restaurant with a private beach. Vallet parking costs 10€the whole day. I find it a bit excessive. A bit pricey though but we are satisfied with our orders. Some servers were nice some were not.

Plage des Salins is a small, peaceful beach 15 minutes from St Tropez with one fantastic Restaurant, Excellent Gourmet Food relaxing beside the Blue Sea. I highly recommend a visit provided you are prepared to pay €80 plus for a Michelin Quality Lunch Meal, Fish being the popular choice but beef, chicken etc are other options.

Food is okay to NOT good. Location is great. Wait staff was nice. One dinner was as ordered - not awesome but acceptable. The other dinner was NOT good - ordered pasta with prawns (gambas), received pasta with shrimp (crevette). I like shrimp so not what I ordered but thought it could be okay. Wrong! Shrimp were so overdone that they tough and inedible. Needless to say, we skipped coffee and dessert. We will NOT be returning. [And, yes, they had prawns. A gentleman at a nearby table was served a lovely plate of gambas just as we were finishing.]

The Fritto Misto used to be one of the signature dishes at Les Salins, a reason in itself to come here. Sadly, that is no longer the case. On our recent visit, the portion was meager, the quality mediocre, and the price outrageous. A far cry from the generous, flavorful dish we fondly remembered. We have been coming to this restaurant for many years, often as a large group of family and friends. It was once one of the standout places in Saint-Tropez. Unfortunately, the steady decline we noticed over the past few years has only continued.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming but attentiveness didn’t carry through the entire visit, however the lively atmosphere more than made up for it. The space is quite tight, which made the dining setup feel a bit cramped, and our food presentation reflected that slightly messy and not so tasty. This place is definitely more about the vibe than the food. With people dancing on tables and having fun it can also feel awkward if you're trying to focus on eating. The live painter was cool All in all, I’ll be back just for the vibes.

We always love coming here. It’s a party and such a great time. Cool multi generational music sets that Makes you want to get up and dance. Such a cool and fun vibe. Of course there are a bunch of posers too but that’s part of the great people watching. I go to Bagatelle all over the world. Worth the splurge. This time we got the pool loungers which are comfy beds with umbrellas. Was nice to chill here too

Had such a fun afternoon at Indie Beach. Of all the beach clubs in the area, I think this one is the best. They run a very fluid operation and everyone working there was super friendly and attentive. They had a DJ playing vibey music and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. The food was actually super delicious and all the cocktails we tried were superb. Would definitely come back here next time we’re in St. Tropez (fair warning: it is quite expensive, but so are all of these places. At least here you get prompt service and great food/drinks + atmosphere). I recommend renting a beach chair then grabbing lunch/dinner afterwards.

It was my first time in St. Tropez, and I came expecting an overpriced scene with little substance. Instead, I found quite the opposite: yes, prices are higher, but the quality more than delivers—excellent food, well-crafted cocktails, and a DJ who set the perfect tone. The atmosphere struck a rare balance of energy and coziness, making it easy to talk, connect, and celebrate, all with the beach just steps away. Strangely enough, the vibe reminded me of Samarkand—a surprising but delightful parallel.

It was a solid place . Overall really nice beach area. Service and drinks were good. Beach not packed with people. Restaurant could definitely use some fans it was very very hot to eat. Also ton of flies. I think fans would also help with that. It was pretty empty during the day so maybe that’s why we liked it, staff wasn’t too busy. Between beach club and restaurant expect to spend €500+ if doing food and drinks. Also wished they had live music, they had a DJ but it wasn’t lively

Our best meal on Pampelonne! Set back from beach amongst plantation. Nice and cool, chic setting. We had 3 kids, 2 dined on kids menu. The kids menu was fresh fish and rice - fresh and impeccably cooked. My husband and I shared a Dorade - stunning, perfectly seasoned. We finished off with Tarte Tropezienne - delicious. This is the only beach club that gave us a lovely welcome on arrival and made us feel that our reservation was actually real. The service is so nice - relaxed efficient and friendly: book with complete confidence

Food was delicious. The staff were polite and attentive. And the dog made welcome. Lovely calm atmosphere not as lively as some of the other beach restaurants which was perfect for us. The new restaurant is set back from the beach a bit under trees and shade with a short walk to their beach section. Where we enjoyed a comfortable lounger and had an afternoon snooze! There is a changing room, toilet and shower by the beach. And they have everything thing you need at the bar.

Best experience on Plage Pamplonne so far. We come here every summer and the very friendly staff as well the fresh local food is a delight. Thanks for the truly good vibes!

A beautiful little bar on the beach, with friendly staff and great drinks. Thank you for the best espresso martinis we've found in France. Our dogs were welcome and it felt like our local bar at home. We hope to come back one day.

I don’t know why the reviews are this good but I was more than disappointed. Maybe the price is ok for this area - can’t judge about that - but the food and service were far away from good. Maybe it was because we didn’t talk French but the stuff didn’t show up at our table if we wouldn’t extra ask for it. Meat wasn’t medium as we asked for. and the gnocchis were so overcooked that they were one with the sauce. Sorry to write this review but there is definitely room for improvement.

Very nice restaurant, great location. Good food at a normal price (for this area) . However, despite a reservation we had to wait for over an hour to be seated and the staff was very busy. Nevertheless we enjoyed our visit very much.

Meilleur restaurant Plage 2019!!!! Meilleur restaurant plage 2022!!!! We visit Bar du soleil several times per season and for more than 20 years now... I became subjective, BUT yes I really LOVE ❤️ this restaurant, which exceptionnal high level and genererous dishes. It's not a 5 star michelin, but please don't be one... this is the good old fashioned grandma or in this case grandpa kitchen!! The chef is a gourmand - a food lover in English- every dish is extremely generous, well thought, good tasting perfectly cooked as a result of years and years of experience... If there would be a dish not succeeded, I would forgive him and not even tell him, because this chef makes my gourmand summer every year Again and again the best holidays ever... The staff is extremely friendly.. and year over year there are the same faces... so this means they are happy to please their clients And yes, pricy, but again you are in St Tropez (so don't complain), and Bar du Soleil gives real value for money!! 5 stars 🌟

I read this place was the «value for money» place to visit along Pampelonne. Sorry to say that it’s just another overpriced beach club… The staff is mixed between really friendly to grumpy. There is no service at the beds unless you wave for 5 min… (who wants to do that at a €50 bed?) We had a €500 lunch for 4 people, not including dessert (spaghetti, burger and tuna). That is beyond Michelin standard price level, and this place is far from any Michelin recommendations! The food is «ok», but far from «worth it»! The cocktails are ok, but they should be better at this level. The place seems more like a luxury tourist trap than something authentic. And the manager seems to not really care… What a shame! Sorry to say, but not worth it! There are far better options! Even the umbrellas at the beds are a reflection of the care they put into this place (dirty and rusty view…)

Dear La Serena team, We are loyal guests and regularly visit your restaurant, which we truly enjoy. Yesterday, we spent the day at your beach area with our entire family and booked ten sunbeds. We decided to have lunch directly at the beach. The food was excellent, and the comfort of the beach setup was also very satisfying. However, the service at the beach left much to be desired. The staff appeared rather unfriendly and unmotivated. Even placing our order turned out to be difficult — a large part of it was forgotten the first time, and only after reordering did we receive the rest. We strongly recommend conducting a mystery shopping experience at the beach and providing further training to the staff — or considering a change if needed. Nice cocktails a little-bit pricey but worth it. The staff is nice lunch/food is average for a beach club. But french fries with parmesan is delicious. Place has no parking option but there is a public parking very close by of the beach.

Service was extremely slow and staff looked bored and grumpy. The manager was also rude. So many beautiful friendly beach clubs to choose from you can easily give this one a miss.

We took the trip out to La Serena, and it did not disappoint. They were completely booked but they made room for us. They were extremely attentive, kind and helpful. I only wish that there was a smoking and non smoking section since my wife was pregnant. But, I understand that this isn't always a thing in this part of the world. Would love to visit this place again. It's a wonderful upscale spot well worth the investment.

Lovely beach in Saint-Tropez (to be exact Ramatuelle, but they are best known for the Provençal village). The beds are very comfortable and the service is professional yet friendly. We enjoyed the beach as well as the bar and the restaurant. The food is nice but the vegetarian option EXTREMELY limited. Nonetheless a lovely way to spend a day.

This place is a cozy restaurant with nice music and good service. Food is Greek style, prices are friendlier than in other places nearby. We tried greek salad as well as octopus both were very good and flavouring.

We visited as a group of four and rented sunbeds. Unfortunately, the waiters serving the beach area were disorganized and struggled multiple times to get our orders right. It was hard to get their attention as they were often chatting with regular customers, and the service was slow. This seems common in popular spots like this. The food at the restaurant was average, but the service there was noticeably better than on the beach side.

The place is very pretty and tastefully decorated. We were a table of 4. Personal was nice and efficient. The food was very average despite an existing, promising and colourful written menu, it was too blend, disappointing, lacked love and generosity and was expensive. The worst was definitely the highly effective way they kick you out from your table to install the 2:30 client’s round. We were relocated to a very nice lounge table to be able to finish our diner with desert and coffee. The expresso came with the unasked bill and we were, again, asked to rapidly vacate the premises. That was rude and very disrespectful.

Favourite beach club in all of St Tropez! This feels like the ‘old’ St Tropez - super nice staff, reasonable prices, feet in the sand, amazing food. And if your 1.80m tall friend injures her knee in the waves, they’ll carry her out on a chair to the parking lot… 😂 we love you guys, keep up the good work!!

I was really disappointed with the service at this beach club. For the price—$100 for day beds and towels—you’d expect a much better experience. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any service during the entire 3+ hours we were there. No one came by to check on us or take our order, so we had to go up to the bar ourselves just to get drinks. Overall, it felt overpriced and poorly managed. I wouldn’t recommend it unless the service improves significantly.

Beautiful sandy beach, stunning completely clear turquoise water! There is WC, shower and parking.

Came in afternoon. Was very lucky to score a parking spot as the place was packed! Beach crowded and quite rocky to get to. Showers are not working. Water was clear and relaxing. Not much to see if snorkelling around the rock faces.

Best beach in the area. Free, shallow, very convenient to get to, if you want to park tho, get there early. we walked and the hill back out is a 7% so be warned. Lots of families with small kids, dogs are allowed but only on leads and there is no shade so it’s a bit cruel to bring them here. 2 snack vans and ice cream seller. Only thing that spoilt it on this trip was groups of local teenagers dropping rubbish but unfortunately that happens everywhere I guess, some people just can’t appreciate how beautiful where they live is.

A wonderful beach that you want to return to, I recommend it

Beautiful beach, but can be pretty crowded in high season. Parking will also be difficult. Arriving early will prevent a lot of these troubles. Unfortunatly, due to its location there is a higher risk of jellyfish!

A great beach for those who llike swimming and snorkeling. Our favorite site near Ramatuelle and Saint-Tropez. You can walk a little further up the parking towards Cap Taglliat and then down the path to enter a beatifull small beach with even better conditions for snorkeling. Enjoy.

Amazing hidden treasure. Has two food trucks open from 9 am To 530 pm. The parking is free and it has clean restrooms. No lifeguards. Families comes w children so gets loud around noon.

My one and only beach club experience in Saint Tropez. The beach is gorgeous. The chairs are very comfortable. The dinning area is very large. Beautiful views of the water. The food was delicious. The service was great. I choose here over Club 55 because of the Google reviews. I walked down to Club 55 and by far, Cap 21 has a nicer set up.

I spent a day at the club while visiting St Tropez while on a cruise. I loved almost every minute. The staff are sweet, fun, friendly, and effective. The lounge chairs and beach are comfortable. I had lunch sitting in the restaurant and it was delicious! It’s not a day-club scene but more low-key in a good way. I would absolutely go back again! My only issue was that they charged me for two lounge chairs - I made a reservation for two lounge chairs and at the last minute my friend cancelled so it was just me. If the club was packed and I had taken a seat from someone, I would understand being charged for a no-show but there were about 20% of the lounges unoccupied and they even took the lounge next to me and gave it to someone else. I didn’t make a fuss but I regret that happening.

Awesome spot right on the beach. We went to Le Club 55 the day before but then some locals told us to try the public beach (which is right in between 55 and Cap 21) and have lunch here. Food was delicious and price was reasonable compared to rest of St. Tropez. The folks at the restaurant are clearly hardworking and I appreciated them making one of the dishes vegetarian for me.

Great vibes, great beach, proper drinks. All you can ask for during summer. They close before 7, so definitely gotta go there earlier for sure. Will return!

I had an amazing time at this beach club! The atmosphere was absolutely perfect — stylish, relaxed, and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived, making sure we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout the day.

Brilliant beach club and restaurant. Great staff / friendly and super efficient. Generous serves of delicious food. Great atmosphere. We had lunch today: Mussels Cap 21 et frites, seafood linguine, Thai chicken salad, Mexican corn, fromage frais with raspberry coulis, crème brûlée, the best mojito my daughter has ever had and the truly delicious Hibis’Kiss cocktail created by one of the gorgeous and friendly waitresses. TOP TIPS: reserve a table for lunch and/or a sunlounge/umbrella/towel ahead of time. Great parking right next to the restaurant and you’ll get priority carpark entry if you have a reservation! Parking was 9 euros plus an additional 10 euros for the Cap 21 priority area. We were there for hours. Well worth it! VALUE FOR MONEY: absolutely. It’s a little on the exxy side but it was an excellent day out and we enjoyed every leisurely minute. Well worth it. Definitely recommend!!

Had a wonderful recent experience at Jardin Tropezina. The atmosphere is unique and beautifully set by the beach, yet not overcrowded like many of the other spots in SaintTropez. The food was tasty and well prepared, making it a memorable dining experience. It’s also the perfect spot to enjoy some sun, get a good tan, and then relax over a delicious lunch. If you’re looking for great flavors, a relaxed vibe, and a touch of exclusivity, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Has received a significant polish of design and Interieur. Super chic and stylish hotel at a lovely white beach. Sunbeds are preferred for hot guests but you might get a spot as outside guest. Lunch was lovely and relaxed. Quality and price match. Has several nice touches like getting the coke out of a special vase instead of the bottle.

From the friendly staff to the amazing cuisine and the wonderful beach, it was one of our favourite day in St Tropez! The beach is wonderful and well maintained, soft sand, comfy beds. Restaurant is terrific with amazing food and superb staff. Strongly recommending the sea bass and the frozen fruits. We will be back and can only recommend

Great place to go for lunch at. Food is incredible. Service is outstanding, and it’s in a beautiful location with a view on the beach. Also there is a free parking lot and a valet so there’s no need to worry about parking.

Promising design that we noticed during our walk along the beach. We therefore decided to come for dinner at the restaurant. Unfortunately, it was a mistake as it turned out to be a HUGE disappointment. The food was way below average, boring and massively overpriced for what it offered. The tomato mozzarella salad for 32 euro was tasteless and the ingredients probably from the supermarket nearby. My steak for 62 euro was overcooked (ordered medium and came almost well done) but ok. The sauce Bernaise was flavorless, so were the fries. The drinks were fine. I informed the waitress about this. Overall, we experienced the worst value for money out of all restaurants at Pampelonne that we have visited so far (and it’s our 5th year). Shame for the nice service and design of this place.

Nice location with nice decoration at a beautiful spot on the beach. The service was outstanding, observant and super friendly. The food did not meet the expectations set by the high price. The quality of the ingredients was good but the cooking was average.

If you want to have a hassle-free day of relaxing at the beach, then make sure to rent a sun-lounger here. It is of course on the more expensive side, but worth it for the most part. Be aware that you are not allowed to bring your own snacks or drinks, so you should drink enough water beforehand, as it can get expensive very quickly.

We discovered this wonderful restaurant on our last holiday three years ago and have been big fans ever since! Great selection of dishes (the mussel menu in particular is very large and all the variations are very good!), very nice maritime ambience and very friendly staff, who always endeavour to fulfil every wish. We always like to come back!

I visited a restaurant with 2 friends, and we encountered a very rude waiter. Initially, he informed us that we couldn't just have drinks; we had to go there to eat a meal. Finding this beach by car was easy, and with a bit of patience, we always found parking. Bring your own sunbed and something for shade to stay comfortable. It’s a fantastic beach for families with kids. We enjoyed visiting multiple times during our holiday, exploring different spots to swim.

After 20 years away we returned to Gigaro and we were not disappointed. It's not your normal sandy beach but it is all the better for it. The quick drop off into waist deep water filled with rocks and seaweed give an abundance of fish and sea life as soon as you step into the water. Take something comfortable to sit on and you could spend all day here with ease. We have always loved to eat at Popeye's near the Spar and we're delighted to see it is still there. The menu has changed somewhat in 20 years but it was still excellent and well worth a visit. 5 stars is not enough but all I can give along with my greatest endorsement.

Gigaro Beach has a chill vibe. We arrived in the morning, it was quiet and not busy at all. Even in the afternoon it was still relaxed. The water is clear and it’s a decent place to look for sea life! 🐠

I love the Gigaro Beach. In winter it’s a perfect spot for walking on the beach and looking for nice cobbles. In summer you can sunbath on the beach or on the rocks, which is lovely. Parking is no problem, if you do not arrive too late. But you can use also the free buses departing from La Croix Valmer and from Cavalaire.

Despite the mix-up, they accommodated us immediately, seating us just two rows from the beach and generously providing multiple umbrellas to ensure we were comfortable and shaded on a very hot day. The service was top-tier—attentive without being intrusive—and the atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for: relaxed, stylish, and not overly loud or crowded. Everything from the setting to the energy of the staff made for a perfect beach day. A special shoutout to Ines, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her hospitality, patience, and professionalism truly stood out. From what we learned, she’s in Saint-Tropez on an internship from Tunisia, and wherever she ends up next will be lucky to have her. Highly recommend Byblos Beach Club to anyone visiting Saint-Tropez—elegance without pretension, and service that truly cares. Can’t wait to return!

Byblos Beach is undeniably beautiful — chic striped décor, soft sand, and that classic Riviera glamour. The food was fresh and delicious, and the location is stunning. The beach does feel a bit too crowded, with sunbeds placed very close together, which slightly takes away from the sense of space. Service was mixed: unfortunately, Matjas was not friendly, which was disappointing for a venue of this level. Thankfully, Florian was the complete opposite — professional, warm, and attentive — and he truly made up for the experience. Overall, still a lovely day by the sea, but I’d hope for more consistently high service next time.

To start on a positive note; the food is so far the best we had in any of the beach clubs we visited in Ramatuelle. (Better than Verde and Reserve a La Plage) Restaurant staff during lunch service was amazing! However, for this price point the service at the beach beds is seriously lacking. It’s difficult to get attention of the staff and service is slow. Also, staff allocating sunbeds should be more considerate of not putting families with kids next to people without their kids. I’m not paying €250 to sit next to other people’s noisy toddlers the entire day. Parking Tip: make sure to arrive before 09:30 because the parking of Byblos (which is shared with Club 55 and others) fills up like crazy and before you know it you’re stuck for an hour in line without parking staff caring about their guests who have made reservations at their clubs. So better drive to the next parking at Chemin de l’epi. Plenty of (sheltered) parking, €8 a day. From there, just take the board walk at the beach passing behind the bars on the left and walk 5 minutes, saves you hours of frustration and time.

The vibe is welcoming and great for families. They welcomed us and took care of us since the minute we walked in. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and very nice. Highly recommend for a great experience!

Byblos was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The beach beds are super comfortable, the whole setup is beautiful, and the service is truly next level. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, constantly checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. They even surprised me for my birthday and kept wishing me happy birthday throughout the day which made me feel so special. The food at the restaurant was delicious, fresh, and definitely worth it. Compared to Club 55 where we went yesterday, Byblos is on a whole other level. I honestly wish we had just come here two days in a row instead. The vibe, the hospitality, and the quality here made it my favorite experience in Saint Tropez so far. Highly recommend.

A great place for a relax day at the beach. The food is good and staff is very friendly. Unique to this place, the tables are big and there is lot of space in between. Price are reasonable (for Saint Tropez) and that was a surprise as with the Byblos name I was expecting high price. So it is a great beach for a day 'off' from the party. The only draw back is there was a dj (who was excellent) but in my opinion, and this is not the only place which bothers me with that: either you just put light background music, or live music/dj with party atmosphere. Here we are in between. I would have rather have a true chill atmosphere. But it remains a great beach which I recommend.

Great resturant with fabulous service and quality of food is on point. It's a very relaxed atmosphere with average prices for this kind of establishment. The sun beds need to be booked in advance or you will be disappointed if you just turn up. The bathing area is oveooked by a life guard which covers the unlicensed swimming area next door. You aren't able to Moor your boat or ski here but if you phone ahead they have a "beach boy or Girl" who will collect you with a tender. Over all lovely place to eat and drink and take I'm the views of the Gukf of St. Tropez.

Casa Amor is a fun spot with a lively atmosphere and great party vibes. The food is tasty and fresh, though portions feel a bit small for the price. The overall experience is enjoyable, but it’s definitely on the expensive side — with the cheapest champagne bottle over €500, which feels excessive. The staff can be a little pushy when it comes to upselling, but if you’re there for the party and energy, it delivers.

I had a very disappointing experience at Casa Amor. I arrived first and was seated at a table we reserved , waiting for my friends who were running 30 minutes late. Despite the fact that I was already inside, clearly expecting guests, the bouncers refused to let my friends in once they arrived — without any valid explanation. Even though the place was empty. For a place that markets itself as upscale and exclusive, they should really reconsider how they treat guests — especially those already inside the venue. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you value good service or a fair, welcoming experience.

If I could rate this place less than 1 star, I would. First off once when we tried to actually get our table, we had to stand in the incredibly long line which took about 20 minutes. Our reservation was at 1pm and we arrived at 1:10pm because of the traffic. Once we got to the desk it was already 1:30pm and they couldn’t find our reservation! Soon enough they came to a conclusion that our reservation had been removed for the reason that we were 30 minutes late which we spent standing in that line. After a few minutes the lady at the desk found us a table and she looked incredibly annoyed as if we had wasted her time. Once we had gotten our table it was tilting and we asked the staff if they could help us they proclaimed that the only solution to this was to move us to a different table which they didn’t have by the way. Then we ordered our food which took very long so we left the place without even eating. Instead we went to Bagatelle and it was a great experience since they even took walk-ins. In the end, I wouldn’t recommend eating at Casa Amor and personally would eat elsewhere. Thank you for your time.
