Plage du Midi is a vibrant city beach that perfectly captures the essence of Cannes. This long stretch of sandy shoreline offers both public and private areas, making it an ideal spot for everyone from families to sun-seekers. Easily accessible from various transport links, Plage du Midi features beach clubs at one end while providing ample space for relaxation further down the shore. Visitors can enjoy activities like beach volleyball or indulge in watersports, all under the watchful eyes of lifeguards.
Very nice beach, with many and many coffees and clubs and restaurants. You will enjoy with the view, many 5 stars hotels are in front of the beach. Many luxury shops as well.

Our fav beach spot in Cannes. Quiet, nice, clean and water is good for swimming. Love it.
Domi D — Google review
Very good sandy beach! Parking on the street/both sides + public parking with more than 150 spots. We went on a saturday 4pm and were lucky to find someone leaving and got their spot. Calm
Gabriela F — Google review
This side of Cannes feels more like the real sea compared to the other side, where the water is clearer and feels fresher. The beach here is completely sandy, and watching the sunset from this spot is just wonderful.
Abdumavlon R — Google review
Away from the cliché of the red carpet, I was pleased to see this city in May between a rain shower and sunny breakthrough. It’s a lush Mediterranean town with beautiful architecture. Movie stars may come here but it’s good to remind oneself that there are the locals living here as well.
R — Google review
Nice sand, only few stone, easy to access water & beach showers for free! Parking lots right by the side (if u lucky) - however, can get really crowded ..
Maddy — Google review
One of the best beaches in Cannes with enough space even for the August crowds.
Larry G — Google review
Really lovely public beach. I would prefer this one instead of the beach on the Croisette, less crowd, more place to enjoy the beach.

Beach
Plage de la Bocca, located in Cannes, is a popular sandy city beach that offers various activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and volleyball. It is known for its laid-back atmosphere and is less crowded compared to other beaches in the area. The beach has easy access and features golden fine sand and turquoise water. While it can get crowded during the peak season, there are nearby eateries and free parking available.
Small but lovely beach next to the road. Crazy beautiful color of the sea. Water soo warm and comfy. San more gray than gold. Shower next to entrance to the beach, very convenient. Not soo crowded. Great spot for relax and swim in the sea. Me and my GF had really great time there. Recommend!
Adrian W — Google review
So, the water’s clear, the sand’s clean, and it’s easy to get to from the A8 highway. You can park for free right nearby (but get there early, it fills up fast!). No pebbles, the water’s shallow and smooth, perfect for a hand-in-hand swim with my sweetie. <3 A few downsides: No restaurants right on the beach, just kiosks for snacks or coffee (convenient, but not super romantic).
Andersson W — Google review
A really nice beach to relax. It gets a bit crowded between 12 and 5 PM, but the water and the beach are very clean and feel safe.
Sefer C — Google review
Perfect for long walks, running and other outdoor activities. The beach is narrow but perfect (it can't be too crowded), clean, quiet and it has SAND ♥️, not small rocks like at Nice😭 The landscape is breath-taking along the coastline, both sunrise and sunset can be caught on camera. For me it's Paradise 🫶
Maria D — Google review
Great destination if your in that part of the world, spotless clean plenty of parking on street, crystal clear blue sea with swim platforms all the way along the beach
Derek G — Google review
This beach is clean, made of sand (and not rocks like most of the beaches in France). The water is clear. There’s not too many people. Can’t ask for much more.
Jeremy — Google review
Public beach close to Cannes, free parking but you need to get there early, ideally before noon, to be able to find a place (that’s the rule anyway for most of the beaches in the region) Water was not very clear because of the wind that caused a lot of waves, but decently enough to enjoy some swimming time. The sand is clean and the beach not crowded. Plenty of places around to have some snacks.
Sawssen B — Google review
It's really good proper plage and not too crowded.

Bijou Plage is a lovely sandy beach located at Pointe Croisette, offering a pleasant environment and clear blue-green waters facing the Lerins Islands. It is situated away from the road between Pierre Canto port and Palm Beach, with nearby parking facilities. Visitors can enjoy access to toilets, restaurants, kiosks, and a cycle path while admiring the splendid view of Esterel. This charming spot remains relatively untouched and is frequented by delightful creatures on legs.
Had a lovely time there. Went with a friend and we shared the beef picanha (cooked to perfection) and we then stayed on the beach for a while. The staff was nice and friendly. View was great on a sunny and cloud free day. Would go back

Bd de la Croisette, also known as the Boulevard la Croisette, is a renowned seaside promenade in Cannes. It has a rich history, originally following an ancient seaside road and now famous for hosting events like the Festival International du Film. The boulevard is lined with luxury shops, high-end hotels, and exquisite dining options.
Among the movie stars! Beautiful boulevard where you can find nice restaurants, fancy boutiques and hotels. The beach is amazing.

One of the most beautiful cities in Europe that I have visited. It really exudes unusual beauty and romance. The buildings are beautiful and I really like that kind of architecture. Along the coast of Cannes, there are beaches along almost the entire length. They are very clean and it is a real pleasure to swim. Lots of restaurants for every taste and pocket. And of course La Croisette! Beautiful! I will be happy to visit Cannes again!
Sonja P — Google review
Quiet off season. Nice for a walk and a wonderful view.

The street you can find all very fine brands
Hatice U — Google review
Popularly known as Palais des Festivals et des Congres", La Croisette is about 22 km long promenade in Cannes along the shore of the Mediterranean Sea where the Cannes Film Festival is held. There is a sidewalk with hotels, casinos, brand stores, a rose garden and places with lots of shady trees where families meet and spend their quality time. There are interesting places around this place to stroll and explore. If you are falling short of time or do not have energy for a walk, then one can enjoy a small touristic city train tour to explore the nearby area. The place is dynamic with lots of hustle bustle of the tourists and locals. The evening sunsets and the night illuminations and combined with festive fireworks make this place truly romantic and mesmerizing. A must to visit when you are in France.
Ubaid S — Google review
Luxury boulevard of Cannes, beautiful beach clubs/ restaurants, luxury shops.. it has also the top rated restaurants.. only that its extremely crowded.. so its not the right place to relax and enjoy the sea view.

Located alongside the iconic La Croisette boardwalk in Cannes, Croisette Beach is a popular public stretch of sand with a rich history. The area is famous for hosting various congresses and events at the Palais des Festivals, including the renowned International Film Festival. Visitors can also enjoy tours on Le Train du Cinema, exploring attractions like Cannes old town and the Provencal market. Croisette Beach itself offers a spacious sandy shore catering to all visitors, including those with special needs.
Great beach with plenty of things to do: swim to the sandbank or enjoy a variety of marine activities. Or simply just take a relaxing stroll along the beach. 😁
[SYSTEM101] — Google review
Nice beach, was my favourite, but right now coz of all construction projects going around not so quiet... But still beautiful, if u find your spot.
Domi D — Google review
One of the best beaches I visited in the region, with excellent infrastructure and soft, clean sand. 🏖 The beach feels safe, especially for families, thanks to the shallow water and gentle, gradual slope that extends far out. It can get very crowded, but it’s still a great spot overall. The main downside is the layout - the central section is taken up by private areas, leaving only the sides for public use. Also, the sunbed vendors are quite pushy and persistent - it feels like a scene from a movie! 🎬📽
Robert B — Google review
Wow what an amazing beach. Miami vibes. Super clean. Big. Showers. Washrooms are very clean. The ladies sitting there and managing the Washroom are doing an amazing job. Cannes was my favorite city between Nice and Monte Carlo. Will stay here a week next time.
Peem W — Google review
The beach wasn’t too crowded, which made the experience really enjoyable. The sand was amazing—soft and clean—and the sea was very clear. A peaceful and pleasant spot, definitely recommended for anyone looking to relax by the water.
Eda Y — Google review
Very good food in the area.. I could sit and watch the world go by. Bring the kids!
Miles W — Google review
Great beach, highly recommended. One of the few that have sand instead of pebbles. Also feels very safe with police presence.

Visited during the low season but still impressive nonetheless the less; particularly the colour of the water after in had rained. Cafes, shops, hotels and restaurants all around the beach and pier.

Island
Nature & Parks
Île Sainte-Marguerite is a charming small island located just a ferry ride away from Cannes. It boasts beautiful beaches and an ancient fort, offering stunning views of the French Riviera. The island is also home to La Guerite, a renowned establishment since 1902, where visitors can enjoy exquisite dining experiences surrounded by lush Aleppo pine and eucalyptus trees.
A great one-day trip destination. A stroll around the island will take you a couple of hours. Highly recommended it outside of high tourist season.
Stay_c C — Google review
Very nice beaches and if you like to walk around the whole island you will find some very nice spots. Food in one of the two places available was very good.
Danessa M — Google review
Pretty place, expect lots of hiking. There are loads of small beaches but they get busy really quickly, I spent the whole day there but I reckon 4/5 hours would be more than enough.
Cassandra — Google review
Beautiful island for a day trip or half day trip. Easy to get the 15 minute ferry from Cannes. There are nice walks around the island and beautiful swimming spots with crystal clear waters. Perfect place to take a picnic, relax and enjoy the views. There are a couple of food vendors for snacks and drinks. Also check out the diving / snorkeling spot with underwater statues. The area is on the opposite side of the island to the boat port. Cool experience, swimming out to find the 6 underwater statues/sculptures.
Katie H — Google review
Île Sainte Marguerite is a fifteen-minute boat ride from Cannes. You can pick up your tickets directly on the quayside. The crossing is rather quiet. The island also depends on whether it's high or low season. It's clean and the landscape is well preserved. The boats come and go frequently. And the average return fare is less than €20, depending on whether you buy online or in the stalls. Buying on the spot seems cheaper.
Chérie A — Google review
We took a shuttle to access the island. The staff was nice and friendly. The island was crouded but there were enough places for everyone. Tha water was clear, the hike through the woods was fun. The statues underwater were not easy to find but it was exciting to look for them. I loved that journey and would definitely come back again.
Amal B — Google review
Île Sainte-Marguerite is a natural temple, breathtaking and unique. Unfortunately, some people ruin it by parking their boats just 10 meters from the shore — something both illegal and dangerous, for swimmers and for the fragile marine environment. I expected to see the coast guard enforcing the rules, but this is Cannes: if you’re wealthy, it seems you can do whatever you want, and the local administration turns a blind eye. Sadly, the damage is already visible — much of the underwater algae is dead. A paradise like this deserves real protection, not neglect.
Simone C — Google review
A beautiful and peaceful island near Cannes, known for its crystal-clear beaches and stunning sea views. Easily accessible by ferry, it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy both nature and history. Highly recommended! 🌊🌿

Lérins Islands, located in the bay of Cannes, are a picturesque escape just 15 minutes away from the old port. The islands offer a blend of nature, spirituality, heritage, and vineyards. Visitors can explore the remnants of a medieval castle that once served as a base for monks on one of the islands. The area also boasts prestigious collections at a museum situated on the heights of Le Suquet with stunning panoramic views.
Two Islands out of time, so close to Cannes but so far away at the same time. Winter seems to never exist in Saint Margaret and her little sister, Saint Honorat. Modern statues have been immersed between the two Islands making their discovery full of mystery...and fun.

A very nice place to visit, it was super nice to take a ferry from Golf Juan and come. We were with a small kid and it was all great, we were walking around the island, but what we did not expect is that we should have made a reservation for lunch (we bought sandwiches which were also super tasty and fresh). The only thing is that beach is not equipped at all, nowhere to lay, no changing cabins, no showers.

The Plage Macé beach in La Croisette is a great place to relax and swim. It's free to use, has clean water, and is usually quiet in the morning. There are no rocks or wind here, which makes it a calm and safe spot. The only downside is that there are not many places to sit down, so it can get crowded during the summer months.
Came to Cannes for a night during the Cannes Film Festival (2025) so I could watch the free public screenings that start from 9:30pm onwards everyday during the festival. I started to queue for it at least 2 hours before so I was fairly near the start of the queue. It did fill up quickly so I would advise queueing up early to get a deck chair spot but you could just fully bring a beach towel and sit outside the cordoned area to watch without queueing. They did provide blankets as it does get chilly, but I’d still advise bringing a light jacket if you plan to stay long.
Tricia L — Google review

The beaches in Cannes are sandy and beautiful, but we came here for the Cinéma de la Plage during the Festival. It was an open-air cinema with comfortable beach chairs and blankets provided. We watched Palombella Rossa, which was a perfect film to watch for the setting. There was music warm-up act with audience participation before the screening. It was so much fun. The films are in the original language with French subtitles. It was a beautiful experience.
Audrey — Google review
The firework festival this year was extraordinary, as usual the beach was full of people waiting but even so you could find space to watch the show, as usual the ending was the most exciting.

Lovely beach at Cannes, not too busy as we were there in March. Very clean, a lot of work was going on for the Cannes series festival. We never knew that this existed. It was a little windy on the day we were there so we didn't stay long on the beach. But we had a good walk and will visit next time we are in the area

Plage de la Raguette offers a more relaxed atmosphere compared to popular beaches like Plage de la Croisette. It's a great spot for a sun-filled day, but visitors should bring their own beach essentials as there are no beach clubs or restaurants nearby. The beach features fine sand and clear waters, making it easy to take a refreshing swim. There are amenities such as water taps, a kiosk offering food and drinks, and even free toilets available.
Beautiful beach, loads of places to eat and drink. Lovely clean water for swimming
Antony H — Google review
Nice beachside directly in front of the castle of La Napoule. Its fitted with toilet and some showering possibilities. Also there is a kiosk to get necessarities if wanted. The water rises very slow,so its wonderful for little children. Recommendations for this nice place. New place of the restaurant, new choices and new place to eat for dinner lunch etc. Once more a nice place to be....
Thomas R — Google review
Nice, little, public beach with fine sand. You can walk out quite a ways before it gets deep so a great place for kids to play. Gets busy during the day but you are rewarded with a great view of the castle
Carsten R — Google review
Very small but feels more private and intimate than the long beaches further up the road. Always found a place to seat.
Charly G — Google review
A nice small beach that you can relax after a walk on the city of Antibes. Usually a lot of tourists around the area which might make the place crowded
Je J — Google review
Amazing small beach nearby rock formations! It was a little crowded when I was there (July) but I guess that's summer time for you. There is a trail on the right-hand side that climbs up providing breathtaking views over the sea and revealing the dramatic rough coast below. Really worth the short hike up. You can walk along this trail to other beaches too (which I haven't done at the time). I'm sure it's well worth it!!
Dr. C — Google review
The first beach with the snack bar is awful. Crowded, water so dirty and you swim through debris. Not a good place to snorkel at all! Turn right and follow the path up over the rise. You come down to a set of two beaches, one pebble, one sand. Water at the pebble beach is better and there are many fish along the rocks along the side of the pebble beach. Good for an hour of snorkelling but that’s it.
Joy E — Google review
Nice horse shoe bay. Fine brown sandy beach. Hardly any stones in the water and you can walk quite a while before you get to the deep end. There's a decent snack shack on the beach with a good selection of sandwiches. What's great is that the beach is non smoking! FOC shuttle leaves you metres away from it. Bus stop Plage de la Raguette.

The Carlton Beach Club is a chic restaurant located in Cannes, offering a laid-back beachside atmosphere and serving seafood, grilled meats, and cocktails. The venue is known for its vibrant ambiance and is a popular spot throughout the day. With friendly staff and a variety of unique cocktails and regional wines available, it's an ideal place to unwind by the beach. The Carlton Terrace is particularly famous for its lively atmosphere, where guests can enjoy drinks while watching the stars descend upon the red carpet.
We had an amazing time at the Carlton Beach Club! The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the team was super accommodating when our friends arrived – they quickly arranged a large table for all of us. A special shoutout to Maud for her warm smile and kindness throughout the service, it truly made the experience even better. We absolutely loved it, thanks to the whole team! ✨
Gladys M — Google review
We had a lovely experience at Carlton Beach Club in Cannes, a refined and elegant spot located right on the beach, with unbeatable views and a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere. The food and service were both excellent. The menu isn’t vast, as you’d expect from more exclusive venues, but it’s well curated and focused on quality. We ordered the pesto pasta and half chicken for mains, both beautifully prepared, before sharing a dessert right by the sea. Service was attentive without being intrusive. I was unsure what to drink, and after a quick chat with our server about my preferences, I was recommended a glass of champagne, which turned out to be the perfect choice. Their suggestions were spot on throughout. If you want to stay and enjoy the beach loungers but aren’t a hotel guest, there is a surcharge per sunbed, around €30 each from memory, so worth bearing in mind if you’re planning to spend the afternoon. That said, it’s an ideal place to relax for a special treat or beachside lunch. Highly recommended booking in advance, as you’d expect it gets very busy as priority is given to hotel guests. The overall bill came to around €100–€150 for two people, including two mains, one dessert to share, and drinks. For the location, quality, and service, we found it to be very fair value and would definitely return.

Came here for lunch with my friends—had reservations so we were seated right away. Got a big table on the sand level, with a view of the beach chairs/umbrellas in front of us and a slight view of the water—probably would have had a better view if we were seated higher, up on the deck. It was a warm day and the restaurant has no fans circulating the air so it was extremely hot—I had to use their menu to fan myself. Turns out, the restaurant has hand fans but never offered us any—we didn’t see some guests with them, until the end of our lunch. Highly recommend getting the Linguine with Lobster to share—delicious and well flavored, big portion too! Mini Lobster Rolls and Grilled Octopus were good. The Black Angus Rib Steak (with béarnaise sauce) was tender, lacked a bit of flavor so you definitely need the sauce. Wasn’t a fan of the Caesar Salad with Chicken—the dressing lacked flavor. They do toss your salad together for you at the table—you can also choose to add in bacon, chives and anchovies. Cocktails were okay, got the Mojito. Overall, the vibe here is chill, not loud blasting music like some beach clubs.

We had high expectations when we went and they were completely fulfilled. The food and drinks were on point and the atmosphere was top notch. But the key difference was the service. It was spectacular! Madeleine and the rest of the staff attended us with high standards, always with smiles and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible taking into account the scorching heat of the sun. I would return to Cannes just to relive this experience all over again. Thanks Madeleine and the Carlton Beach Club for a memorable day at the beach!

Food is exceptionally fresh and delicious but will cost you a pretty penny! Loved the watermelon salad, sea bass and octopus. Ambience is great but the service is subpar. Difficult to get a daybed here if you’re not staying at the hotel.

Dimitar and Nina were the most amazing staff members!! So kind and accommodating! They brought us espresso martini shots to celebrate and we enjoyed our time thoroughly! 10/10 recommend- and if you’re lucky enough to have them as servers, you’re in for a treat!!
CeCe B — Google review
Gregory was great. My only issue was that the club closed at 3pm and we arrived at 12 and were still charged full day prices, should definitely have done something especially given they didn’t fill up even half of the beach loungers. Outside of that the service by Gregory was top notch, the lobster roll was great and the mashed potatoes were superior
Brandon T — Google review
Unfortunately, our lunch at Carlton Beach Club fell far short of expectations. Despite booking a table several weeks in advance through their website and arriving right on time, we were told to wait at the bar for 10 minutes before being seated, which ended up being about 20 minutes. With a stated two-hour time limit on reservations, this kind of delay is unacceptable and reflects poor organization and management. One of the main reasons we chose this place was to try the Homer Lobster Roll after seeing videos online about the Paris location. We also saw that it had been promoted on Carlton’s instagram in the past. Although the original lobster roll was not listed on the menu (only the trio of mini rolls was), I asked our server if the original full-size roll was available. He said yes, so we ordered it. What arrived looked nothing like the version we’d seen served in Paris. No generous chunks of lobster, but instead tiny cut up pieces drowned in an excess of mayo. I understand this isn’t Paris, but if you’re going to tout the Homer brand, the quality should be there. If it’s being offered, it should be done right. Especially when you’re charging almost double the price at their locations in Paris. The fries were good however, as well as the tuna carpaccio starter. Everything was fine service-wise until the bill came, when the server asked me in a somewhat pushy manner if I wanted to add anything for the service, claiming it wasn’t included. This was false. The menu clearly states at the bottom that service is included. Her approach felt unprofessional and left a very bad impression. Despite the beautiful setting and famous name, Carlton Beach Club fails to deliver consistent quality or honest service. You’ll find better value and better meals elsewhere along the Croisette.

Plage Gazagnaire is one of the most popular free public beaches in Cannes, along with Plages de la Bocca and Plages du Midi. It's suitable for families due to its shallow waters, making it safer for swimming. The area is also great for kite surfing. The beach is known for its clear waters and soft sand without cobblestones, making it relatively less crowded than other beaches in the area. It offers convenient amenities such as showers and free toilets nearby.
Top class free public beach. Clear water, very soft sand without cobblestones. Relatively less crowded. Parking on the street directly next to the beach possible. Several showers available. Free toilet can be found a bit into the city (opposite to a pharmacy)

Le Cabanon is a beachfront restaurant with a sleek glass-walled dining room and terrace, offering bistro dishes, cocktails, and champagne. The location is unbeatable, providing an amazing view of the Esterel. The atmosphere is relaxed and happy, making it a go-to spot just outside the usual Cannes locations. While the service can be slow when crowded, the staff works hard to make guests feel taken care of.
Classic dishes done to perfection. We stopped here on the last day of our trip, which made for a great send-off. Staff was friendly and let us sit down 15 minutes before they actually opened. We had a well-marinated chicken, juicy and tender, as well as a nice steak tartare, very crispy fries, and a glass of red wine. Oh, and of course, the entire time you’re sitting right by the ocean. What’s not to love? 😊

While the place is cute, and the sunbeds are very nice especially for the price. The service is horrendous. Île Saint-Honorat is a picturesque island in the Lérins group, known for its 15th-century fortified Cistercian monastery. The island is covered with vineyards and is home to some of France's last winemaking monks. Visitors can taste and purchase award-winning wines at a special degustation room and enjoy a meal at a high-quality restaurant.
This place is a short cruise trip from Cannes. Boats start leaving from 10 am in morning and last from the island is around 430 pm, never miss it. You can spend a whole day exploring this small but beautiful island. There are multiple small beaches to swim and sun bathe. One of the destination of French Riviera.

Such a beautiful island! I definitely prefer this island to the bigger one. There are a lot less people and have quite a few cute quiet beaches. It takes a couple of hours to walk around the whole island but I definitely think you can make a whole day of it if you relax by the beach and then go sightseeing.

Beautiful, quiet, secluded island with a monastery and vineyards. Like l’île Sainte-Marguerite, it is only accessible by ferry. There is a lovely, short walk around the island, and a nice restaurant overlooking the water.
Audrey — Google review
We began with the boat trip which was lovely. Staff were very pleasant and it was good value for money. The island is beautiful and well worth a visit. The highlight for us was to be able to join the monastic community for Mass on Palm Sunday - quite a special day to visit with a lovely procession carrying palms through the cloisters. . The singing was profound and added to the spirituality of the place. The aroma of the scented incense added to the beauty of the Liturgy. After Mass we toured the island which is very historical and interesting. We ate our packed lunches at a picturesque spot at the edge of the Mediterranean sea. Our return boat trip was just as pleasant as the initial journey. Thanks to the Community for a truly inspirational and enjoyable day. Would love to return some time 🙂🙏

Beautiful little island with a monastery but don't plan a day for it. We were there for an hour and a half and that's enough. There's nothing to see other than the monastery and a bit of a walk around. It's definitely worth a visit but not a day trip.

Beautiful little island, but in winter you better be organised for lunch cause everything is closed and in the only shop that's available (the Abbey shop) there is no food and the lady is very very rude ( I think she hates tourists). Everything is really beautiful though.

Short cruise from Cannes, great views, cute little island, you can walk all around it in like 2 hours. Nature blooming, cicadas playing, nice old monastery (with monks living in it still), a lot of hidden little bays where you can walk on the rocks or swim. Review Title: Disappointing Island Experience for Families I recently visited this island with my family of five, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Our receptionist recommended this spot for swimming with kids, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. Firstly, the ship company charged us 72 euros, which felt steep given the experience we had. The beach was incredibly rocky, making it difficult to swim or even enjoy the water. For families with children, this is especially problematic, as the rocky terrain is not safe for young ones. Additionally, while the water appeared crystal clear, it was not inviting due to the dirt and debris present. The coastline is not well-maintained, which detracted from the overall beauty of the area. We found it hard to find a suitable spot to relax or play. In summary, I would not recommend this island for swimming or a family day out. There are better options out there that are more family-friendly and enjoyable.

L'Alba is a stylish beach restaurant located in Cannes, offering Mediterranean seafood and cocktails in a bamboo pavilion with DJ sets and sunbeds. It's popular among locals and tourists for its wide-ranging food menu, friendly service, and superb view of the cerulean waters. The constantly changing menu features fresh local seafood, as well as organic meat and poultry sourced from the surrounding area.
Had a wonderful day at this beach club. Food, particularly the scallops was exceptional. Wine also delicious and not insanely priced like other places in Cannes. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
Juli C — Google review
The location is excellent, especially if you can snag a seat near the surf — the atmosphere is undeniably charming. Service is decent, nothing to complain about. As for the food… perhaps we hit an off night. The lamb arrived as three nearly pure chunks of fat — disappointing, to say the least. Luckily, the bread saved the day. Fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. Pro tip: Skip the lamb and go straight for the bread — it's the safest bet on the menu.

Great atmosphere and a stunning setting to enjoy the Cannes fireworks. The food is OK, the starters are huge and delicious but the mains, my steak in particular, are disappointing. The service was friendly and relaxed, but it is the location and views that steal the show! Dog and children friendly.
Terence A — Google review
Just a very nice place at the beach. We were welcomed with our bigger dog and get a table in the front t row with an overwhelming view. We shared thon tartar for an entrée, and thon and fish for main course. Everything in an excellent quality. Just a very small remark. The expresso and coffee is not on this top level. Leaving we saw a big Nespresso Machine.... However, we will stay. To 5 stars.
Andreas — Google review
So, I got the grilled octopus, which tasted great. Unfortunately the starters were not as good, my friends and I really disliked the ceviche (could be a matter of taste). The tiramisu was also quite disappointing. Thankfully the portions were very good. We sat by the beach and the sky was absolutely stunning, I don't know if we would have enjoyed our experience as much if we were sitting at a different table at the main part of the restaurant. Staff was very friendly and the wine was quite good.

Well known to locals and tourists alike this establishment offers a superb view and atmosphere combined with a constantly changing menu comprising predominantly of fresh local seafood combined with an assortment of delicious meat and poultry all sourced organically from the surrounding area. Better to book ahead to assure a table overlooking the ocean. You will be greeted by a welcoming smile from the service staff ..who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.. comfortable and relaxed in this wonderful environment. Don't be afraid to explore the menu and try the assortment of seafood in plentiful supply and variety..as well as the delicious daily specials on offer. No visit to Cannes is complete without a visit to this famous establishment..

It was one of the best places I have ever been in my life. Food was unbelievably good, the staff was so friendly and approachable, helped us with everything we needed, even with swimming glasses, and the place is gorgeous. I recommend it to everyone!!
Rafael P — Google review
The guys working on the beach are ok, which is not the case with the woman who is the manager. I was on the beach for 5 days, the first day I left a tip, the following days due to a few unpleasant situations I didn't leave a tip which was the reason for her to be very rude the rest of the days, leaving us at the table for half an hour to order food to make fun of her, then every day she deliberately added things to our bill that we didn't order and it happened that we had to correct one bill 2-3 times. The food portions were getting smaller day by day... a very unpleasant experience but I definitely left the guys on the beach a tip every day so she wouldn't see it because they did their job correctly. My recommendation is go to another beach and don't let them make a fool of you for your money

Nestled along the stunning Croisette beach, Vegaluna is a chic beach club that perfectly captures the Mediterranean spirit. With its expansive seafront terrace, it offers diners breathtaking views of Cannes' iconic hotels while indulging in delectable seafood and sharing plates crafted by Chef Antoine Regnault. The menu highlights seasonal produce sourced from local markets, ensuring each meal is fresh and vibrant.
The food was simply amazing, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The ambiance was unmatched, with a breathtaking sunset view right on the beach and an incredible live singer that elevated the whole vibe. It was the perfect mix of elegance and chill, and we had an unforgettable evening. Definitely a must-visit spot in Cannes!

The best beach club in Cannes – the beach is unbelievably clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I’ve never experienced such care and warmth in any other beach club. The food is delicious, and I will definitely come back again!
Lika R — Google review
We had a very disappointing experience at Vega Can. Upon arrival, we were greeted quite coldly by the security at the entrance. When we asked if there were any available tables, he bluntly said the restaurant was completely full—despite the beach and dining area appearing nearly empty. Moments later, we managed to book a table online right in front of him. Suddenly, a table was available after he “checked with the owner.” Once seated, the service continued in the same dismissive tone. As for the food—it was well below expectations. The calamari tasted like low-quality frozen food, bland and rubbery. The spicy margarita was poorly balanced, with overpowering saffron threads floating in the drink, making it difficult to enjoy.the bread is so tough that you can not chew it and it hurts your mouth m. Awful. My main course, a beef tartar, was average at best, and the fries were soggy and flavorless. Dessert, a lemon tart, looked and tasted like it came straight from a freezer—nothing fresh or refined. For a bill of over €300, the experience was underwhelming across the board: poor hospitality, mediocre food, and absolutely no justification for the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Vincent B — Google review
Amazing food…and the beach, I think it is one of the best from Cannes, Especially if you realize that there is double the space between the sun beds, compared to many other Instagrammable beaches nearby... Copal, Lucia, etc., where you sit like sardines in a can :)

Food was good, service was terrible. It’s an expensive restaurant and the other ones we’ve been to on this beach that are priced similarly provided much better service. Every time we asked for something it wasn’t given, waiters just seemed to not care very much. Wouldn’t go back again. Also we made a reservation and they didn’t even check our names so I don’t think they care if you reserve or not

This place is so good we came back 3 times! The staff are really friendly and attentive, food is amazing and cooked to perfection. Frank really looked after us also helping us book some beds during the day at the last minute. This place is a must visit, given we have kids they also do a reasonably priced menu for children which we appreciated compared to others that don't offer this. The beach is great for kids too as they have toys and slides. Highly recommended if you're in Cannes!

I am really surprised by the service. It was so nice and friendly, nothing fancy at all (in a good way!). We really liked our entrée (watermelon, feta) and octopus and sea bass as a dish. We will certainly come again. The atmosphere is Mediterranean and relaxing…

We have spend 7 days on this wonderful beach in Cannes and we had a great experience! The beach is wonderful, water is azure and clean, perfect also for kids, sand is clean and soft as silk. A very important aspect is that on this beach we found very civilized people, even though some of them with kids (as myself) they were not noisy and the kids played nicely together. The food was amazing, the service and the staff were the kindest and happiest people at work that I have met. High quality beach at affordable prices!!! Really made my vacation a bliss!

Cocktails & Class: 5 Stars for O’Key Beach Plage! Our group of four visited O’Key Beach Restaurant Plage just for cocktails, and we were treated to fantastic service. Unlike nearby places that put non-diners in corner seats, the staff here welcomed us and seated us at a proper, comfortable table right away. This simple gesture made a huge difference. The cocktails were excellent, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was lovely. If you want great drinks and to be treated like a valued guest—even if you aren't eating—this is the spot. Highly recommend!

We loved it here! The food was amazing, the staff was so friendly and service was great. I had the tuna tartar and my husband had the poke bowl - the fish was so fresh and delicious
Kelly R — Google review
Disappointing experience both times we visited. Lunch was mediocre, service was slow, and they split our group of 6 by making one of us sit alone at a different table. Locals got much better treatment. Next day we tried the beach — big mistake. They started loud drilling right after we arrived for 1,5h hour, then closed all umbrellas “because of wind” while nearby beaches had theirs open (attaching photo with timing). We were told we could leave without paying, but they still charged us for the sunbeds. Seems like not bad business idea if someone is looking for options😅 Food was also poor: kids’ meal came wrong, and the poké bowl was inedible — soy sauce soup with watermelon instead of grapefruit and 1 spoon of rice. We definitely don’t recommend this place. Try one of the neighboring beach clubs instead.

Mojito and ice cream after a long walk for about 2-3 hours. It was before sunset, and I stayed there for about 2 hours waiting for the sunset, and had a nap lying on the beach for half an hour. It was so soothing with the sound of wave lapping the sandy beach. The sunset 🌅 lasted for about 10 minutes and I got the entire scene on the video! Great!

Spent several days here and we were very well looked after. Beach service very good - attentive and helpful. Lovely food in the restaurant. Not the cheapest but worth spoiling yourself.
Paul M — Google review
Poor experience. As soon as we got there, a guy approached and tried to offer a big plate of different fishes for all of us. After lots of questions then we realized that it's 2kg in total, which is way too much for a family with 2 kids. Then we just ordered from menu and kinda got ghosted. Every time it was taking forever to find someone to order something or to pay the bill. Very low quality service for the given prices.
Artak B — Google review
We came to the restaurant and i ordered drinks then we ordered food and after we finished they ask if we need to eat anything else we said not at the moment, then they came back with the check and said if we didnt order again we should leave! We stayef for 2 hours and we paid almost 90 euros so at least have some respect to the guest! Never again

Zamenhof Beach, situated on the east side of a sheltered cove, offers shallow waters ideal for swimming. Managed by the city, it provides amenities such as toilets, lockers, showers, and changing rooms. Despite being near the marina, the beach remains clean with lovely water. It can get crowded during peak season but is generally a nice spot to relax on smooth sand. Visitors have praised its romantic and stunning setting with warm water and beautiful views.
During my second trip to Cannes I discovered this beach. It is very clean, there are showers, but be careful of hungry seagulls. They just attack you and steal your food. One seagull has stolen my falafel🥹

The beach and the sea are perfect, the installations are ok, we were at the paid zone with umbrellas and chairs. The access is not easy for older or people having difficulties with walking as they should go down the stairs. Today 28.06 an old lady coming behind us was sent back very rudely by an employee which said that we should wait upstairs till 13:30. It was literally 13:23 when we went down and the old woman had difficulties with walking but the employee (black hair woman, pink Ray Ban glasses) sent her upstairs without agreeing the old woman to wait downstairs in the shadow. Very impolite behaviour and reveals the real level of the people working here.

The beach itself is very nice and I would give it 4 starts. But, we were at the paid part of it and we booked for a whole day, 8:30 to 18:30. At 17:40, we were asked to leave, because it’s their closing time. Showers and toilets were closed already too. If your information says, that your booking is up to 18:30, you should not end before that time, especially not almost an hour earlier.

The couples massage with Julie and Irina was amazing! Very relaxing and effective 90 minute massages! Also the couples suite was in a beautiful room with a view. We were disappointed that the Watsu / heated pool was closed and this was not communicated in advance when I called to confirm that we would be coming early to use the facilities. No discount was offered for the broken facilities. Also, it would be nice if additional towels were provided for the showers and steam room after the massage. And we would have liked to have an option to relax before the massage in an area away from the sauna area that was quieter, dryer, and more calm. The seating area outside the sauna and steam room area was quite noisy. 5 stars for the massage and 3 stars for the facilities.

We had reserved a couples massage and were warmly welcomed with genuine smiles. After being offered refreshments, we were guided to the changing area before our treatments began. The spa facilities were absolutely stunning—modern, impeccably clean (a top priority for me), and thoughtfully designed. The view from the couples massage room was breathtaking, adding to the serene atmosphere. My therapist was attentive and intuitive, focusing on the areas where I held the most tension—especially my neck and shoulders. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. The full-body massage was a solid 10 out of 10. Honestly, I’d hop on a plane just to visit this spa again. It was that exceptional.

Had the most amazing experience here, Kirstie & Sophia were such a light and made our lunch so easy and enjoyable. All of their recommendations were perfect and I felt great about everything I ate when we left. GET THE CEVICHE & BANANA BREAD! We loved it so much we ate there twice!

Hidden gem ! Not easy to find a spa which combines great quality services and friendly atmosphere. Additional plus is the Japanese restaurant, with sophisticated dishes and refined cocktails! They also have healthy juices !

This place is a jewel, In amongst the beauty of Cannes the service and food is extraordinary by every stretch of the imagination. We actually extended our stay because we loved it so much thanks to the amazing staff (especially Sofia and Kirsty). We will definitely stay again next time we are in Cannes. P.S Do not leave without trying the banana bread ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Public beach
Plage publique du Palais des Festivals is a beautiful and bustling beach located in the heart of Cannes, offering stunning views of the sea and Antibes. Despite its narrowness and popularity, the atmosphere is vibrant and enjoyable. Visitors can admire cruise ships anchored off the coast and observe various water sports activities. The beach is known for its cleanliness, with clear and pleasantly warm waters even in October.
December dreams, sun, blue sky, people walking, dog's plying. Paradise in Cannes last 48 hours of 2024.
M. K — Google review
Unfortunately, this beach is almost always closed due to ongoing construction or events in the past few years. When it is open, the condition isn’t great either. The area often gets dirty due to the boats passing by, leaving trash and debris behind. It’s a shame because the location has great potential, but the maintenance and accessibility have not been up to expectations. If you’re looking for a clean and accessible spot, you might want to consider other beaches nearby.
Septimiu-Gheorghe M — Google review
There is a quite small stripp for visitors that don't want to pay for a sunbed. Therefore it is also very crowded. Prices varied from 35 to 50 € for each beachbed at high season.
Rosa W — Google review
Amazing beach very close to famous Palais des Festivals in Cannes. White sand and much enough space for easy relaxing. Sea water is clean here usually. There are ice cream and sandwiches selling a few meters upstairs. The boulevard de la Croisette is along this beach.

Plage Croisette Beach Cannes - MGallery is a beach club located at the 4-star Hotel Croisette Beach, offering a superb view of Lerins Island and the Bay of Cannes. It's an excellent venue for lunch or dinner by the beach, with sun beds and lounges available. The restaurant provides a beach view and offers delicious food options such as samosas, truffle focaccia, milanese, and tuna tartare.
We spent the day relaxing in the deck chairs on the pontoon. The view was great, and it was very relaxing. Our server was very attentive and fast. We also had lunch which was good. The deck chairs were very well priced and spaced out nicely.
M E — Google review
Fair prices (compared to rest of the beach clubs around), there is no music playing which I personally consider a big plus. But the service (especially the young guys) is pretty slow and not really friendly. Every time you want to order something they give you the feeling you are annoying them. Only one elderly waiter there is friendly!
Hollywood — Google review
Excellent venue and nice food at Cannes beach!!! This is definetely a recommended option if you plan to have lunch or dinner by the beach. The place has sun beds and lounges at the beach and then a proper restaurant with beach view. Food choices were nice. We tried samosa and truffle focaccia as starters. As mains the milanese and tuna tartare. Everything was very nice and portions were proper size. The one thing I did not like is that we wanted to order an affordable rose wine but they did not have the one displayed in the menu. You would expect to be offered a similar wine (including similar price) as alternative but it was not the case.
Ernest T — Google review
Avoid the escalope de veau at all costs 😅 I got a hard piece of meat drenched in oil The tartare was ok! The view was nice and the music at the right volume
Frida I — Google review
It is an okay restaurant with a similar style to its neighbours. The prices are the same as well, 26 euros for a cheeseburger. These are expensive by any measure but every restaurant on the beach is at a similar price range. Hence, looking beyond that, it's a nice restaurant and the service is okay. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's difficult to justify the prices for these places. Overall, you'd be okay to dine here.
Nuric — Google review
Great beach experience! Reservations are super recommended, even for hotel guests.

When in the Côte d’Azur…visit these islands! It’s easy to get there by boat from eg Cannes or Juan les Pins. You can book tickets online or get them easily at the counter as well (€16.50 for adults) There are two islands, I have been to both and they are both beautiful so no particular advise from me to go to one islands specifically. The water around the islands is crystal clear and great for snorkelling and to e.g. have a look at the underwater eco museum at St Marguerite. I advise to bring enough water and food to spent a day on the island and don’t forget to bring water shoes to enter the water comfortably. Please leave a thumbs up/like if you think this review was useful.

Île Sainte-Marguerite, located just 15 minutes by boat from Cannes, is a small and preserved island that offers a secluded beach experience at Portet Cove. Visitors can explore the natural beauty of the island, including isolated coves and an ornithological area.
Beautiful island to spend a day, or a morning if you are in Cannes. It's great to go, have lunch and leave, as around lunchtime is when it gets really busy. L'Escale is a great place to have lunch. You can't miss the fort, you're going to love it!! Also, get a bit lost and find a quiet beach to spend some time away from the crowds. Absolutely recommend it!!

Stunning island! This island is quite popular so some of the beaches can get a bit crowded. There are old bunkers on the island which are pretty cool to look at. It’s not a far trip from the mainland on the ferry which is great. There are some food stalls where you can buy food however you do have to hold onto your trash.

The Island of Saint Marguerite near Cannes was a delightful surprise! A true gem for visitors of the Cote d'Azur, the comfortable boat trip from Mandelieu-la-Napoule was just the beginning of an amazing day. The island's natural beauty, with its picturesque pine forest, provided a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear sea and exploring the castle with its fascinating museum and aquarium. This visit was truly memorable, offering a perfect blend of nature and cultural attractions. Don't miss the chance to experience this hidden paradise during your trip to the French Riviera!

Plage de la Petite Fontaine is a beautiful sandy beach located in Theoule sur le Mer. It's a popular spot that can be reached by taking a pleasant walk from the town center, and there are also nearby restaurants offering sandwiches. While it may be small, the beach is incredibly picturesque, although finding parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak times. The area offers clear waters for snorkeling and has amenities such as toilets and beach showers available.
Fantastic little beach, quieter than in Theoule-sur-Mar too. Nice sandy beach, although a bit stony on the feet getting unto the sea. So nice and warm with lots of little fish to see. Nice shaded returant on the beach too if needed. 😎🏊🏖🌞

My favourite beach in Théoule-sur-Mer! Small, and lovely and quiet in June. There's a public toilet. Plage Naturiste de la Batterie is a small yet stunning beach just outside of Cannes, known as the last naturist bastion in the area. It's popular among gay men and serves as a cruising area, especially on its western side. Accessible by two sets of stairs from the main road, this beach features little sand or pebble but offers flat areas for sunbathing on large rocks.
I was there with my friends on Sunday great beach Cristal clear water and the beach quite small but you can walk a bit farther you can find some good spots for yourself a little bit crowded because of Sunday I guess. i do really enjoy there and my first times experience for nude beach. And forward to go back again anytime soon

difficult to find the entrance, but the place is beautiful. there is a small sand beach and some rocks, fantastic crystal water. ideal for some nude swimming after running workout and I could also do naked yoga and stretching
Andrzej T — Google review
DIRECTIONS: This nude beach is accessed by two sets of stairs down from the main road. The two stairs are across the road from the Total Energies gas station, on is just north of the gas station, and one set of stairs are just south. See my photos for the appearance. There is very little sand or pebble beach here, you should expect large rocks with flat areas for laying down. The water area is shallow for 20 meters out, only a water depth of 1-1.5 meter deep. PARKING: Motorbike, motorcycle, or scooter parking can be easily found near the north staircase. Car parking is more difficult, some is available behind gas station, but is easier to park in nearby town Pointe Croisette, and walk on sidewalk trail (about 1.5km). SEE PHOTOS
