Love it great to shop
MaXine L — Google review
Lived in Sutton for most of my life. Gracefully was a lovely shopping centre. Now it's like a ghost town with more shops shut than open, so very sad. Great if you want to drink coffee or eat. Looking forward to when they entice some of the bigger shops back with 2 massive sites still empty. Always hoping that something like Primark would boost the town and other shops would benefit from increased footfall.
Julie M — Google review
Stopped by Gracechurch Shopping Centre a couple of times recently, but sadly it didn’t leave much of an impression. The 1960s architecture gives it a dated feel, and the atmosphere isn’t particularly inviting. Many of the shops I’d normally use have closed or moved on, which makes the experience feel a bit hollow. It’s fine for a quick pop-in if you’re nearby, but not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit.
Eva L — Google review
Gloucester shopping centre is an amazing collection of retailers you won't find in most cities and towns now. I haven't spent so much money and time,4hrs! at the shops in ages,it was a great experience.
Isobella H — Google review
Once a thriving shopping center, Grace church centre has become another place of closing/closed shops, larger retailers have gone and there are more coffee shops competing with each other. Redevelopment is beginning, with apartments and offices above retail is the forward thinking. Independent shops appear, and are a welcome sight, but how do they survive in this low footfall area? Some don't stay long. Waterstones, Boots, Specsavers, Nationwide BS, House of Fraser, H&M, WHSmith are the main stays, and carparking is ample and average price. Aldi is the busiest shop today. A few years may bring a new shopping experience
Susan W — Google review
It's not a bad place to shop the car park entry a bit daunting as it is a spiral driveway to parking spaces. There seems to be a good range of shops but it was quiet that maybe due to time of day. A good range of shops in the centre and parade. It was clean bright place to be. They had a beach area that was good for the kids to play in with buckets spades and deck chairs for adults.
JeffnDee ( — Google review
a bit sad looking as many empty shops. it is clean and tidy place but overrun by school kids toilet is clean. they often do events like food fair. house of Fraser looks very boring as not much to get for presents. they do have cafe.
Eileen H — Google review
This shopping centre is now so run down and a disgrace to The Royal Town. So many empty shops and boarded up frontages. Avoid and go to Lichfield or Tamworth.

Bullring & Grand Central is a modern and iconic shopping destination in Birmingham, featuring a diverse range of high-street fashion, household shops, and restaurants. With over 140 different shops, it has its roots in the Middle Ages when it was used for the city's first markets. Visitors praise the variety of shops and the overall shopping experience. However, some feel that the dining options are limited compared to other centers.
We stopped off here on our way back from Scotland to pay our respects to Ozzy, have a look around, and get some lunch. We ended up doing a bit of shopping too. A great experience it had to be said
Jon M — Google review
The Bullring & Grand Central is so extensive that you’ll probably need a full, energized day to truly explore everything it has to offer. From high-street fashion to designer brands, restaurants, and cafes, the shopping and dining options feel endless. Outside, you’re greeted by the city’s icon, Ozzy the Bull, a must-see landmark and popular photo spot. What makes the experience even better is the direct link to Grand Central station above Birmingham New Street, making the mall incredibly convenient for both locals and visitors. With its mix of shopping, food, and city buzz, the Bullring & Grand Central is more than just a mall — it’s the centrepiece of Birmingham life.

So having arrived in brum by train we went to explore the ode bullring. I tell you what pal but the place was absolutely heaving for saying the weather had taken a turn for the worse and it was raining, the city is definitely a sleeping giant! We joined the many blues, sky blues, villans and old golds in checking the place out. I tell you what pal but I've never seen a primark or primarni as I call it so big, this bad boy of a store had 4 floors with a cafe, a greggs and even a pre loved section! It really was inspirational and I've not seen or been in another primark like it anywhere it really is an eye catcher baby massive kudos! Had a nosey in the body shop and I tell you what pal but the ode sugar pumpkin 🎃 section was absolutely banging it was a beautiful scent, hand cream, shower gels the full shebang people were going mad for it, reckon this stuffs the new best seller in brum land and the lady working there loved a good natter she was a good egg pal! Ended up getting a my cookie dough from one of the pop ups. It wasnt cheap pal, but i went with the cookies and cream with ice cream and oh my god pal talk about yummy yummy in my tummy or what. It was massive and very tasty indeed pal, I'll let you into a little secret but im sure I put 4 pounds on eating that bad boy! Walking back to the ode train station we were greeted by ozzy the mechanical bull, what a creature, what a construction all 33ft of him, definitely worth a look 👀 The other thing i noticed round ozzy, it absolutely stunk of wacky backy to the point that when I got back on the train my head was nearly touching the roof I was that high on the whiffer! Alot of trains cancelled today however no problems for us and we managed to get 2 seats together on the return journey but again that was a little bit whiffy as someone kept letting tommy squeakers off. A cracking day out though and definitely a sleeping giant there 😴 keep up the fantastic work you brummies 👏

Abdulsalam P — Google review
it’s lovely, i like taking a stroll around and it’s never too busy, a lot of parking too and it’s just a nice chill spot to do window shopping, it’s funny how you have to go outside to get to another side of bullring sometimes but it’s nice. very unique.
Faizan ( — Google review
The Bullring dates back to the fifth century where the first stall was opened to sell coffee and doughnuts to wandering peoples practicing Germanic Paganism. At the end of the Roman Empire Christianity had failed to grip the imagination of the bods of Mercia as they worshipped the likes of Thor, Odin, and Tyr. The doughnut sellers had to ensure they had sufficient stocks as failure to supply may have determined that they be sacrificed, both human and animal offerings were presented to the gods. Over the years the Bullring grew, shop by shop, until it became the second city's biggest outlet. Please note there are still multiple sellers of doughnuts in the venue, honouring the sixteen centuries of sweet treats munching.

The store's sleek decor and neatly arranged racks of suits and accessories immediately caught my eye. I was on a mission to find the perfect outfit for a special occasion, and the friendly staff were happy to assist me. They showed me a range of stylish suits, shirts, and ties that perfectly matched my requirements. The quality of the garments was impressive, and I loved the attention to detail. BE VERY CAREFUL PARKING HERE. ITS FREE PARKING HOWEVER FIND YOURSELF LITERALLY ON A BAY FOR 30 SECONDS AND EXPECT TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED FROM EVERY ANGLE COVERTLY BY WARDENS WHO DONT EVEN HAVE THE NERVE TO SHOW THEMSELVES. ALSO NO SIGNS LEGIBLE THROUGHOUT. WILL BE APPEALING AND TAKING BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Great choice of retailers just a shame that the underground parking is constantly limited & thats if it’s open. The other downside is the very poor standards of drivers who somehow seem the have a licence, yet are unable to actually drive let alone park & if you comment they loose it as though they are the victim.

Stunning architecture. It's amazing feeling to walk into an old building. Connecting both Stephenson Street and New Street is Piccadilly Arcade, a wonderful shopping arcade that dates from around 1910.

This is a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Birmingham, and features a large array of independent stores, this building was once a cinema and the sloping walkway reflects this as it has stairs on one end and a access entrance on the other. It's best to visit this shopping arcade in mid-afternoon in the week and when you do visit make sure you look up at the artwork which covers the whole ceiling of the arcade from one end to the other. I had an appointment today, it was super busy but staff were amazing. Alexandra who carried out my eye test was super friendly and professional. The assistant manager who helped me pick my frames and choose lens’s was incredibly knowledgeable. I would definitely be returning to them.

A huge thank you to Elliot who went above and beyond to get my glasses sorted after my frame broke. He was extremely polite and professional and got them back to me in quick time. I highly recommend Vision Express and am always happy with the service I am provided with.
Shaz W — Google review
I visited the store last Saturday to get my new glasses sorted and paid for. I was left standing for a while until I spoke with who I assumed was the store manager, she was very helpful and professional, and told me the staff member in question would be with me in a few minutes. So I took a seat to wait. That staff member, after almost an hour and half of me waiting, decided to proceed to ignore me and went on to serve another customer instead. No communication, no apology nothing. Will not be going back to the store in future.

Quite a small car park. There is an overflow car park but it's never open. Great park but all it needs is a bigger car park. The park has a path but if you're on a a bike it can be bumpy. Excellent car park. It is a medium size car park. The machine does not take coins any more. The purchase is through RingGo app only. The access to the shopping centre is within 5 minutes. The access to restaurants and pubs is within 10 minutes.

Mitchells Shopping is a delightful destination that offers a unique blend of shopping and dining experiences. Visitors rave about the inviting atmosphere, where you can enjoy delicious food at great value, including a tempting full English breakfast and an array of mouthwatering cakes. The quirky shops provide a refreshing alternative to typical retail options, making it an enjoyable place to explore.
Visited specifically cafe ceramics, which is a place to be creative in a friendly atmosphere. I've often visited the restaurant just for cake and coffee. The food looks inviting. The shops are quirky. Totally different to your everyday shops, so totally worth a visit.
Debbie M — Google review
Really nice place and food is very good and decent value, few nice shops to look in, will 100% go back for a full English it looked great, the cakes also looked wonderful, exactly the same menu as the strawberry cabin in tamworth so presume they are the same family or something.

Mitchell's Shopping is decent overall, though it has its ups and downs. The wool shop, which used to be a highlight, has sadly disappeared, leaving a bit of a void in the experience. The café has potential with a lovely menu, but the service tends to be slow, and there's a noticeable smell of old cooking oil that makes the atmosphere less inviting. It’s fine for a quick visit, but there’s room for improvement. Feel free to tweak it to suit your style! Let me know if you'd like me to adjust anything.
Eva L — Google review
We went on a Sunday and there were hardly any shops open. The toilets were outside and were absolutely freezing. No radiators on in them, despite it being winter. Brrrrr!!!!! 🥶 Maybe this place is better on Saturdays?
Mary J — Google review
Went for a group activity for my fisheye. Was very clean and plenty of parking. Bit of a sharp turn off the main road to get in so be observant.
