Flea & Street Markets
Naka Weekend Market, also known as Phuket Weekend Night Market or Chaofa Variety Weekend Market, is a bustling night bazaar located near Central Festival in Phuket Town. It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists, offering a wide range of products including batik sarongs, logoed T-shirts, quirky trinkets, pirated items, and secondhand goods.
Honestly it’s one of my favorite markers in all of Thailand. Absolutely huge, has food clothes bags shoes trinkets all kinds of souvenirs you’d want. There’s live music often and also lots of locals come too. Overall I would come back and had a really good experience while here.

Great market. Not as big as other in Bangkok but great selection, great crowd. Some tourist but mostly locals, so fun to be immersed in the culture. Soup was amazing along with everything we tried. There is a lot of commercialization of the souvenirs so just double check if you want "made in Thailand " stuff to take home.
Darren W — Google review
Excellent experience of authentic street food. Well priced and food prices range from 5 - 100 Baht. Plenty of souvenirs and clothing stalls. Great atmosphere with live music. The markets are undercover, so perfect for a rainy day. It costs 5 Baht to visit the toilet, so be prepared!
Dilee D — Google review
Phuket’s biggest weekend night bazaar—pure sensory overload in the best possible way. Hundreds of stalls: street food, fresh seafood stands, grilled lobsters, and the classic fish balls and desserts. Shopping ranges from souvenir crafts to second‑hand clothes and quirky gadgets. Bustling, crowded, and buzzing with live music. If you want everything under one roof, this is it. Opens 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays.
Mads D — Google review
Great fun! Heaps of stores, some with stuff you don't normally see at other markets. Amazing food, live music. Definitely worth a look.
Nick R — Google review
Vibrant local market with street food, clothes, and souvenirs. lively, fun, and affordable. One of the best weekend night markets in phuket
Hussain A — Google review
Very nice market for street food and shopping. Enjoy wondering arround. Open only on Saturday and Sunday 4 to 10 pm.
Shilpin S — Google review
I came for the food and local finds, but I stayed for the vibe. 😍 Wandering around Naka Market was already a treat—with colorful stalls, friendly vendors, and mouthwatering street snacks—but what made the night extra special was discovering the chill and amazing singers performing live, for free! Their voices filled the air with such warmth and soul that it felt like a mini-concert in the middle of a night market. I found myself just sitting there, soaking in the moment, smiling without even realizing it. These simple, spontaneous experiences remind me how beauty and joy often come when you least expect them. Thailand never fails to surprise. Naka Market is a go to.

Chillva Market in Phuket is a trendy and vibrant night market that stands out among the others on the island. It attracts a younger crowd with its creative use of old shipping containers, creating a hip and modern atmosphere. The market offers an array of local food stalls, including meat, seafood, fruits, and sweets. In addition to the culinary delights, visitors can also find fashion items, authentic souvenirs, locally produced clothing and jewelry, athletic shoes, accessories, and gadgets.
Very youthful, creative and laid-back night market which is known for its cool design : micro- boutiques, refreshing authentic local experience, bars and cafés. A standout feature is the diverse food offerings: grilled seafood, chicken, tropical fruits and desserts. It also features a central stage for live performances. Plus it’s a great place for shopping . It’s a must visit place in Phuket.

Nice night market with a good variety of food stalls. There’s also a beer garden area and some souvenir shops. A decent place to walk around, grab something to eat, and relax in the evening

Chillva Market is a trendy night market starts at 1700 Hrs. To till 2300 Hrs. located in Phuket Town, known for its youthful vibe and bohemian style. Built with colorful shipping containers, the market offers a mix of local street food, fashion, handmade crafts, and live music. It’s a favorite hangout spot for both locals and tourists looking for a more authentic, laid-back shopping and dining experience. Open in the evenings, Chillva Market captures the creative and relaxed spirit of Phuket.

Oh, you’ve got to try the Pork Knuckle rice, it’s super tender and yummy, you will get a good portion for just 60 THB! We also love the steamed buns with all sorts of flavours. Plus, the place has a great vibe with plenty of seating, and they even have live performances.

Super cute and vibrant night market, it was a nice surprise ! The market has a good mix of food stalls, cool clothing, and souvenir shops. The live music stage and Orchester made it a lively and enjoyable spot to visit. The food was a bit more expensive than I expected but at least it was delicious and authentic. I totally recommend for a few hours 😊
Nini — Google review
such a fun and colorful spot in Phuket! The vibe is lively but still relaxed, with lots of unique stalls, local food, and handmade goods to explore. The street food was delicious, and the atmosphere made it easy to spend hours just wandering around. A must‑visit.
Marzo — Google review
⭐ 2/5 Disappointing experience. Came here after seeing the hype, but it was quite boring. Not many food stalls open, and the food I tried was just so-so — nothing special. It started raining, and there’s not much covered space to sit or enjoy your meal. The colorful setup is cute for photos, but overall the vibes were a bit empty. Maybe better on weekends, but not worth the trip if you’re expecting something exciting.
Putera D — Google review
Hip and bohemian village market in Phuket Town, with shipping‑container bars, live music, and creative street food. Think grilled seafood, coconut pancakes, and insect snacks. Trendy apparel, vintage items, second‑hand accessories. Open Wed–Sat, 5 pm–11 pm. Vibrant yet a bit less chaotic than Naka. Slight pest issue at dusk (moths/fireflies)—part of the charm!

Phuket Indy Night Market is a lively and colorful night market in Phuket Town, offering an array of stalls selling food, drinks, and souvenirs. This bustling market takes place on Thursday and Friday evenings along the picturesque Thalang Road in the old town area. Unlike typical markets, Phuket Indy Night Market features independent vendors, making it a popular cultural attraction among locals and tourists alike.
In my opinion, this is a great spot and a must-visit for anyone exploring Phuket in the evening. It’s not a large market, but you can definitely find something to eat here, with plenty of stalls offering good food at good prices—something for everyone. Another plus is that the staff keeps the place clean, with tables being wiped regularly and any trash cleared away promptly from tables and the floor. On some evenings, you can also enjoy live music, which makes it a very pleasant way to spend time in the evening with a beer.
Grzegorz Z — Google review
Best thing was it was just in front of my hostel! Beer is expensive. Lots of stall but not much with food. Food was OK but live music was the best! Just 3 days in a week Wednesday - Friday
Šárka R — Google review
Near Old Town Phuket, definitely worth visiting (Wed-Fri). Some of the best local food, many delicious options, wonderful live music, really an amazing break from the touristy part of phuket & perfect for experiencing some Thai culture!!
Anna P — Google review
A smaller but vibrant night market offering great food & performances. The organizing team is more visible compared to the ones at the other night markets & update their social media pages regularly. They had a recent lively 3 day Christmas event where presents were given to visitors (I got one also 🙈) Keep up the good work & see you again next week! 🙂

The ideal way to spend a Friday night. Wonderful food options, good beer and excellent music. Thank you!
Sam R — Google review
The market is not very big but it's located near an indoor mall, they have fire show which is quite interesting 👍👍 with other live band
Jimmy H — Google review
We were a bit disappointed with Indy Night Market. It’s very small and doesn’t have many stalls or variety — just a few food options and some basic souvenirs. It didn’t feel worth the trip compared to other markets in Phuket that offer more to see, eat, and explore. The vibe was quiet and not very lively the night we went. If you’re nearby it might be okay for a quick look, but I wouldn’t recommend making a special trip.
Emanuel V — Google review
Wow, what an incredible experience we had at this charming little market! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cozy atmosphere and impeccable setup. The best part? There were clean tables and chairs, so we could sit back and relax as we indulged in all the mouth-watering Thai dishes. And let me tell you, we didn't leave hungry! From classic favourites to exciting new varieties, this market had something for everyone. And the live music? It was the perfect accompaniment to our delicious meal. Plus, the staff were all amiable and provided lightning-fast service. The best part? The prices were reasonable, so we could enjoy all our favourite dishes without breaking the bank. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention our absolute favourite: the fresh orange juice from local mandarins. It was the perfect finishing touch to an already fantastic evening. We can't wait to go back!

Central Phuket Festival is a massive multi-level shopping mall located just outside Phuket Town. It boasts over 120 outlets, offering a wide range of products and services to cater to every shopper's needs. The mall features international brands, boutique stores, apparel shops, and more. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the first-class cinema experience at SFX, which showcases Hollywood blockbusters, Thai releases, and Bollywood films with modern digital sound technology and VIP seating options.
During my visit to Thailand in 2022, I stayed at a hotel across the street and visited this mall frequently. It reminded me of home but with its own Thai twist. It isn’t any average mall! They’ve got a movie theatre, aquarium, among many other things. There is lots of shops, both high end and affordable options. I especially love their food court which is presented as a street market.
Victoria D — Google review
There are many dishes to try, items to buy, splendid theatres to enjoy, aquariums to visit, go-karting adventures, and occasional exhibits or events. The area is especially charming, stretching from the old central part to the new, where they constantly decorate depending on the event. I would also suggest adding a better arcade center with proper basketball, hockey, and rhythm games—that would be fun for all ages.

Central Phuket combines modern retail with Thai cultural elements, catering to tourists and locals alike.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Central Phuket is an impressive shopping destination that truly has it all — from luxury brands to local Thai products, amazing food courts, and beautiful architecture. The mall is spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, making it a perfect escape from the heat. There’s a great mix of international and local stores, plus many dining options for every taste and budget. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall experience feels modern and premium. Whether shopping, dining, or just exploring, Central Phuket offers a world-class experience that rivals top malls in Bangkok or Singapore. Highly recommended for visitors and locals alike!

Central Phuket Festival is the perfect place to spend a few hours shopping and relaxing. The mall is huge, modern, and very clean, with a wide variety of international and local shops. The food court is excellent and quite affordable, offering everything from Thai street food to international cuisine. There’s also a supermarket and plenty of cafes if you just want to take a break. It’s a great spot to cool down from the Phuket heat, and you can find almost everything you need in one place. Highly recommended for both tourists and locals!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a great shopping experience at Central Phuket Floresta! We bought two luggage and the staff were really helpful and friendly. They even gave us a cash coupon and VAT refund which was a nice bonus. The mall is clean, modern, and has a really good selection of stores. Highly recommended for shopping in Phuket!

Phuket Old Town Sunday Night Market Walking Street is a vibrant and diverse market located in the heart of Phuket's historic Old Town. This bustling market, which opened in 2013, showcases the rich cultural tapestry of the Sino-Portuguese community along with Indian, Chinese, and Muslim influences.
According to me the Old Town was the best attraction of Phuket. We came here on a Sunday evening which happens to their market day. The buildings here were inspired by Sino Portugal architecture. Very attractive. Many buildings have converted into hotels, museums, cafes and restaurants cum bars. It was very very crowded even though many streets were only for pedestrians. One could find stalls of paintings, artwork, souvenirs and different type of food, fruits and exotic juices. At some place music bands were going on. In one of the lane there were about 30 chairs for foot massage. The entire area was lighted with colorful lights. It looked very pretty in the night. The ambiance was rocking. If you want to enjoy Indian cuisine then visit Amritsar restaurant.
Balkrishna S — Google review
The Phuket Night Market is a vibrant showcase of Thailand’s heart and soul—where sizzling street food meets the charm of handcrafted souvenirs. As the sun sets, the streets come alive with color, aroma, and sound. The air is rich with the scent of grilled seafood, skewered meats, spicy papaya salad, mango sticky rice, and crispy Thai pancakes made right before your eyes. Every bite tells a story—authentic, bold, unforgettable. Wander further and you’ll find rows of stalls lined with artisan crafts: handwoven bags, coconut-shell jewelry, carved soaps, and quirky artwork by local creators. These aren’t tourist trinkets—they’re pieces of culture, made with skill and care. The market isn’t just a place to shop or eat—it’s an experience. It captures the spirit of Phuket: warm, creative, and buzzing with life. Whether you’re hunting for unique keepsakes or just want to eat like a local, this night market is a must-visit.

The food section is definitely the highlight — grilled seafood, mango sticky rice, Thai pancakes, and local snacks are all freshly made and super affordable. It’s also a great place to experience local culture and see how people from all walks of life come together to enjoy the evening. The atmosphere is festive and family-friendly, with plenty of halal options and unique souvenirs. It’s a great place to soak in the local culture, try new dishes, and enjoy a relaxed evening stroll. I bought a SANKI Steel Shelf 80 cm – Grey from Index Living Mall online (Order No. 20250729369681, price 2,839 THB). The product was delivered damaged (bent and torn thick steel). I reported it immediately on 3 August 2025 (Ref. 8000766736), and customer service confirmed a replacement on 4 August 2025. I sent all requested photos and videos, but after more than two weeks there is still no replacement or refund, only repeated requests for the same information. Very disappointing service for such a large brand. I hope Index Living Mall will resolve this properly. Case has also been reported to OCPB. Update: Finally, the company replaced the damaged shelf and collected the old one. The replacement still has some issues (scratches, small defects, and dirt in the boxes), but at least it is usable. The whole process took from 29 July to 22 August, required many reminders, a public review here (which I normally never do), and even an OCPB complaint. So, make your decision accordingly.

Decent selection and well-organized, but not quite IKEA Index Living Mall in Phuket is a well-organized store with a wide range of home furnishings and decor. Prices are generally in the mid to high range, so it's not the cheapest place to shop — but you can still find plenty of interesting and useful items. While it's not on the same level as IKEA in terms of variety, design, or pricing, it’s a solid option if you're looking to furnish or refresh your home locally.

Went on a Wednesday evening. Don't expect much. Very limited choices. There were few slipper/shoes options and very few clothing options (mostly average). Overall a dull market (may be cos of Wednesday), with less choices. Food court had only 1-2 shops opened.

This is a great place to go to get souvenirs and clothes cheaper than the main tourist spots. Close to Marriott Courtyard. I found a lot of pants and cute items for gifts. I recommend this place for groups or if you don't have a lot of time but want to get some shopping done. Also they have socks etc. if you forgot to pack something. Just be aware there isn't really AC so it can be hot and each stall is a different vendor you need to pay.

Kraphunga Fresh Market is a vibrant hub that captures the essence of local life and culinary delights. As the sun rises, vendors eagerly await to showcase their fresh produce and traditional snacks. This market holds nostalgic value for many, as it was once a daily stop for grandmothers seeking ingredients for family meals. Today, visitors can stroll through its covered aisles in the early morning hours, discovering beloved stalls like Yai Yin's, where authentic Thai desserts are crafted with care.
Good place to buy fresh foods. And highly recommended for breakfast. Yellow rice with chicken or special southern tea should try.

This market is a part of my childhood. My grandma used to walk here everyday from her house to buy groceries and sweets to cook for us whenever we were in town. These days, whenever I visit, I walk over in the wee hours of the morning with my aunt. We have our own specific vendors that we get our goods from. Visit Yai Yin, the grandma who sells traditional Thai desserts at the very edge of the market, close to the entrance of the Thai temple. She makes the real deal stuff, stuff you won't find in the US. Try one of everything. I also recommend trying Muslim style Fried Chicken with sticky rice topped with fried Shallots from the seller just down the street from Yai Yin. This dish was a classic breakfast for my family in Phang Nga, and unless you know someone, you won't find it anywhere else. Also, find the Bah Tong Kho seller, and dip those delicious fried dough pieces in Ovaltine, Coffee, or custard, or throw them on top of your bowl of Jok. They were my grandma's favorite breakfast.

This local market is ONLY open on: MONDAY afternoon 16.00 till about 20.00 It is a very local market and locals like to shop there on Mondayevening. (Translated by Google) We were lucky to pass by on a market day. We turned around, stopped and went in. It was amazing to walk around a market surrounded by rocks. We took 5 kg of different fruits with us. The prices were cheaper than in classic tourist places. The locals were surprised and friendly to us. We haven't seen other markets in Thailand, so we have nothing to compare it to. (Original) Нам повезло проехать мимо в день работы рынка. Развернулись, остановились и зашли. Welcome to Smiling Cannabis, a hidden gem in the lively heart of Phangnga that beckons cannabis lovers with its inviting atmosphere and delightful aromas. This charming shop is not just about quality; it’s also known for its unbeatable prices and an impressive selection of strains, including favorites like Gelato, Kush varieties, and Jack Herrera. While it may take a little effort to find due to GPS quirks, the journey is well worth it.
My favorite weed shop in all of Thailand! The prices are low, and the strains are high quality. Super quaint and very clean shop. It may be a bit hard to find because of how GPS directs you, but if you look at my video below, you'll know what to look for. I don't usually buy a lot at once, but I think I walked away with around 8-9 grams, and paid less than I would pay for 2 grams anywhere else. And the quality is top notch 👌 Everything from Gelato, to different types of Kush, and the lovely Jack Herrera. He also has Thai Stick, unbleached rolling papers, grinders, glass holders, glass bong bowls, rolling tobacco, etc. The owner is named Oat, he's super friendly and very helpful. His wife and toddler came by my first time there, and they are also just as lovely. Sweet little family owned spot. I highly recommend it.

I stayed at the sands in Khao lak for 2 weeks and these guys were an almost daily visit for me. If not to buy more weed (which I can tell you now is better than anything I’ve ever smoked in Nz or Thailand) then just to see their awesome store! These guys are so nice I told them that back home we smoke chop (weed and tobacco mixed) and they were more than happy to roll me some joints with the ciggies I provided. This also did not affect the price and they just put the extra weed into another joint. I’m heading back soon and really hope the new laws haven’t affected them and my ability to be a patron! Thank you for the awesome hospitality and many laughs boys, till next time Kia Kahala!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended! This shop truly delivers on all levels. They even roll fresh joints for you on request – an awesome service you don’t find everywhere. The prices are a bit higher than usual, but absolutely justified given the top-notch quality. Everything tastes great, and you can tell they only offer premium products. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and chill – you feel welcome right away. And if you’re into cool bongs, this place has some really impressive ones. Overall, a fantastic shop with great products and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great variety of product - we wanted CBD oil, which they stock.
Michael S — Google review
This store is rad! I bought some gummy and chocolate...it all began like a scene from a classic stoner comedy. As I arrived my dude fell out the front door like Spicoli falls out of the van, coughing his lungs out and left me alone in his store cos he needed to go buy a Fanta to manage the dries. When my man returned he went on to explain the 60 or so strains in jars, encouraging me to take a whiff of the pungency within and giggling. He also encouraged me to buy a monster pre rolled joint that he promised would make you sleep like you’ve never slept before. I’m giving him 5 stars.

I gave 1 just because I can’t give it a zero! The people working there are just impolite ! My husband broke a bol by accident, the lady was chasing him around like it was the end of the world and of course made him pay for it. I have been in ceramic shops before, if you put your merchandise on top of each others in an unorganized fashion, there is always the risk of having them broken and usually the shop takes the responsibility with a lot of kindness. This being said we didn’t mind paying but the way she treated him is just unjustified and impolite !
