I took my wife here for a long deserved romantic meal. I got recommended this place by a few different friends. It exceeded our expectations. Great food, great service and lots of extra treats. Much better than a lot of other restaurants which claim to have more accolades. Definitly recommended by us :)

The food was delicious and really well presented. We really enjoyed the menu and wine selections. The Neige de feta de chèvre et brebis etc. was very salty and we weren’t sure whether this dish should have occurred earlier in the menu because it was a surprise after the beef plate, where we were expecting something sweeter. The ambiance was relatively quiet and it was very easy to have a conversation. The place settings, cutlery, glasses, napkins etc. were perfect (no marks on glasses etc.). Finally, the team were incredibly helpful (charitable!) and tolerated our ‘bad’ French incredibly well and did their best to explain all the dishes to us. Overall, a really lovely experience.

Outstanding meal at Lea Quai des Sauvers - one of the best meals I have had for years. The chef Maxime and his team display true genius in combining so many wonderful flavours in each dish. The red mullet fish had a wonderful piqancy and the basil meringue interlude was incredibly interesting. The service was fantastic and really relaxed. We had a wonderful evening - thank you very much.

Wow this restaurant deserves a star. The food was some of the best I have eaten around the world. Perfectly balanced. The wine pairing was also excellent, on two dishes first taste of the wine I questioned why, then the food arive and the two together were a perfect match made in heaven. Bravo we will be back. I really liked this museum. I was struck by the many and varied shells. Amazing. The staff were so nice and welcoming. My only disappointment was that there were just a few English translations alongside some French information. More information on the shells and in both languages would make it a 5 star museum. Nice collection. Friendly management and reasonably enough priced - 21 euros for 2 adults and 1 paying child (3 year old was free). We were advised the visit would take around an hour and a half but we were done probably in 30 minutes. There are lots of beautiful shells within and you could spend loads of time I am sure looking at, learning etc. Good little distraction and not too expensive, providing 4 stars as we knew what it was before paying and there were no complaints.

Very interesting museum set in original German WW2 bunker complex. Quite small but with lots of interesting exhibits and artefacts. A really good narrative on the local history with a great English subtitled film to set the scene as you tour the museum. Make sure you ask for the translation cards at reception.
