Gardens
Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is a must-visit destination in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Situated at the heart of the city, it offers diverse landscapes and a solar-heated conservatory. The gardens showcase an array of plants, trees, and medicinal herbs in sprawling collections. For families, there's a play area for kids to enjoy.
Awesome place to visit! They have a great collection of plants and have had a scavenger hunt every time we have been, which adds to the fun! Definitely recommend the stop!
Brantley A — Google review
We very much enjoyed our visit. The children's garden outside was magical, popping with so many beautiful beautiful flowers and plants. Inside was like stepping into a tropical rain forest type climate with so many exotic, interesting plants to look at and learn about. This place is an asset! It's free! Donations are appreciated. 😉
Jessica F — Google review
An indoor greenhouse and outdoor children's garden with sandbox (includes trucks and tractors), many water features including a water wheel a push/pull bridge, small wading and splash area, vegetable and fruit tree garden, and so much more. Highly accessible even for those using mobility devices or strollers. Multiple bathroom locations. Children's storytime on Saturday mornings. A diverse giftshop, refillable water station, and more.
Amber W — Google review
Nice gardens to stroll around, interesting rotary feature. Lake was giving beautiful cloud reflections as we watched the geese. The children’s garden was exceptional .
Catherine S — Google review
Beautiful botanical garden and free! It’s small but well manicured and delightful walking around inside and out. There’s a rooftop overlooking the grounds, and lots of places to sit and relax among the plants. Cheyenne is a nice city.
Emily S — Google review
A friend took us to the Botanic Garden one weekend and we loved it so much we brought my daughter and her family the next weekend. Such a beautiful and diverse environment. Absolutely love the view from the 3rd floor terrace.
Brenda H — Google review
Nice place to spend the afternoon in Cheyenne, very beautiful and clean. I loved the surrounding garden as well and the turtles were so cute.
Ernesto C — Google review
Beautiful indoor gardens with art exhibitions and activities. Children's garden is magical and Aaron makes Friday storytime and crafts so much fun for my grandkids. And it's FREE!

The Wyoming State Museum in Cheyenne offers a comprehensive look at the state's rich history, culture, and natural heritage. Established in 1895 and funded by the state government, this museum is dedicated to honoring Wyoming's past while also celebrating its present and future. Visitors can explore a wide range of exhibits, from showcasing the National Park Service to delving into the state's topography and highlighting local artists.
The place is kinda old, a bit dusty. But the experience was good. I met this old man with his daughter, they seem to enjoy the place a lot like they haven’t been in a museum for a while.
Aaron A — Google review
They have a diverse collection of exhibits showing you the history, nature, and culture of Wyoming. They have a scavenger hunt and daily "outlaw" you search for while there to encourage involvement and add extra fun. We have enjoyed it every time we go. Plus it has been free!
Brantley A — Google review
Fantastic museum with everything from dinosaur bones, taxidermy wildlife, settlers history, geography of the region, some powerful native American stories, to more modern events and contemporary pieces. Great gift shop to!
Keenan — Google review
Good museum to learn to about Wyomings history. It's just not the biggest, so don't count on spending hours there. The layout of the museum also wasn't really chronological, so there really wasn't a right way to go through it. Admission is free, which is a big plus.
Axel S — Google review
What a great museum. The layout was amazing. It's very clean and organized. And the scavenger hunts make it even more educational.
Mark M — Google review
There is a LOT to see here. If you are a thorough museum attender, it will take about 3 hours. Completely free, clean, and lots for kids to interact with.
Addison T — Google review
This place was awesome. No charge for the museum donation accepted if you want. Very modern and well done worth the trip for sure! Stage coach #99 originally built in Concord, New Hampshire

Extremely well done museum covering all of the area prehistory and history. Actual discovered dinosaurs with the discovery story. Great gun collection with stories, Indian history and early settler history

The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum is a historical treasure trove located in the heart of Cheyenne, Wyoming. This annual festival celebrates the Wild West and attracts over 200,000 visitors each year. The museum showcases an extensive collection of carriages, Western American art, cultural artifacts, and historical clothing. It also offers a glimpse into the world's largest outdoor rodeo held at Frontier Park.
Air Show, Parade, and Native American Village were excellent. Can't do all of Frontier Days in one day. Lots to see and do. Definitely a good plan to go to in 2026.
Walter G — Google review
An easy break from driving ... hostess was very sweet and have us plenty of information of the museum and suggestions!! We have been driving several hours, so this was a pleasant respite. Small museum didn't take much of our time but it gave us exactly what we needed to take a break. Really enjoyed seeing the old carts from the wagon trail as well as the art on display. They didn't have a small store but it was kind of disappointing to see that most of the materials in the store were made in China. If they were more authentic I would have bought something but that is just me. It did not deviate from the enjoyment however.
Amanda H — Google review
Great place to tour around! Lots of cool statues and murals showcasing the culture and history of Cheyenne WY! Looking forward to seeing the Indian village that is being built.

Learn about the Cheyenne rodeo and Frontier Day. Small but enjoyable Museum. Chat with the employees who have lived in this area their whole lives. Loved it!
Emily S — Google review
Had a good time. Lots to see. Definitely recommend a visit!
D D — Google review
The museum was pretty good. I don't know how they left out barrel racing all together? Nothing, not one thing about it. I believe they included it as a rodeo event as long ago as 1906. May be wrong on the date, but they have definitely contributed to the attraction of rodeos and have definitely earned a place in the museum.
Janet H — Google review
Lots of great information. Displays were beautiful and they were spaced out giving you plenty of room to see

Great space for history! Lots of exhibits, tons of helpful information, great historic displays of eeally iconic things! We performed there for a project about the life of Nellie Tayloe Ross and they were incredibly wonderful and accommodating for our theatre!

Nature & Parks
Holliday Park in Cheyenne is a scenic gathering spot offering lush green fields, playgrounds, sports facilities, and an art center. One of its main attractions is the vintage steam train named Big Boy, an authentic coal-powered locomotive that played a significant role in the history of the Transcontinental Railroad. The park also features a beautiful lake at its center and provides amenities such as restrooms, picnic areas, and well-kept foliage.
Came to the park to relax, do a little flying and just check out the park for the 1st time and it was Really Nice! 🙂👍🏼 Lots to do for both Adults and the kids and definitely worth coming to if you're in the area! Very nice walking track around the pond, plenty of places to picnic or BBQ, play Basketball 🏀 or Tennis 🎾 lots of playground equipment for the kids and just all around a nice clean park. (As far as I could tell)
Benjamin M — Google review
Beautiful park! Lots of big trees and love the pond. Great place to walk, feed the ducks and geese, and take the kiddos! Beautiful playground, very clean.
Kelsey S — Google review
Great Park! We stopped for a picnic lunch during our travel trip to South Dakota
Susan P — Google review
Good little park for kids and for a good walk on sunny days. It has enough provisions for kids to be busy. Paved roads around the lake for a brisk walk with your four legged friends. I some dog and duck droppings everywhere.
Biswanath D — Google review
Very nice park in Cheyenne I’d usually go there to feed the ducks walk around the lake a few times. It nice and quiet at the park on a cold grey winter day. Nobody around.
MATTHEW L — Google review
Lovely park. Beautiful colors and foliage. Lots of places to sit and watch the critters, ducks, geese, and the water...only problem was I found only 1 bathroom and it was on the FAAAAAAR side of the park. They have a beach volleyball area, but no net, an area with a bunch of Horseshoe pits, a playground near the art building for little tots and on the other end, by the tennis courts is a playground for the bigger tots that looks kinda like a castle. They have an area for working out as well right next to the bigger tot playground. It's tucked back from the bigger traffic areas, so it's pretty quiet.
Melody H — Google review
Nice and clean park in the spring. The giant steam engine is great. The pond/lake got turtle and ducks. I think there is no restroom in the park, the adjacent art studio posted a sign “No public restroom”!!!
John F — Google review
I loved the gazebo and lake scene. Very peaceful. The kids playground was nice as well. I'm not crazy about the South play ground being so close to the road but it had a lot of nice equipment options for the kids to play on. My girls loved it.

Mylar Park in Cheyenne is a perfect spot for outdoor fun with family and friends. The park offers various activities such as biking, fishing, and disc golf. It features a playground, beach volleyball net, picnic areas, and even provides frisbees for visitors to enjoy.
This place is very beautiful. The air is fresh in the early morning and a group of wild ducks are swimming on the lake in the distance.

Decent little park. Small pond with lots of geese and ducks. Good walking path around the park. This park also has a Frisbee golf course.
Stephen V — Google review
Great park. Only needs a cold drink machine and an off leash doggie area. Better still two separated one for large and one for smaller pups. I walk everywhere and my pitty pup needs a place to play we can reach.
Tammy M — Google review
I don't know if it was a good thing or not but there was about 3 or 4 Cheyenne Police cars talking to a person in the park? Was kinda weird.
Cris C — Google review
A nice little park hidden away from everyone. A few tables and chairs, a bike trail, volleyball court, basketball courts.. and quiet!! Great place
Conor T — Google review
Great place to ride bike, walk, or play disc golf. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are locked which creates a problem when you have a little one that needs to potty
Jacy O — Google review
Beautiful, small park with lots of open space, volleyball net, bathrooms, event pavilion, small playground with swing all up against a disc golf course.
Josh H — Google review
Long, linear park along Dry Creek. Heavy bike traffic after mid morning. Unlike the bikers, the dog companions tend to be polite and keep the dogs on their leads. Playgrounds, picnic areas, restrooms.

Lions Park in Cheyenne is a popular destination for families, offering multiple playgrounds, well-maintained walking paths, and plenty of benches and rest areas. The park features a lake where visitors can enjoy watching wildlife and even go fishing. Additionally, there are amenities such as an outdoor amphitheater for performances, baseball fields, BBQ areas, gardens, and a labyrinth. It's also home to a mini-golf course and offers various spots to relax or have a picnic.
Vantastic Community Park! This is a large property with all the bells and whistles including aquatic center with $2 showers, pickleball courts, ball fields, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, mini golf, gardens, lake, hiking and biking trails, picnic tables and grills and more. I had full bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming. Parking is paved and large enough for any size rig or RV depending on the location.
Will H — Google review
Beautiful city park. Busy place when the weather is pleasant. Lot to do here, I just stretched out my legs and walked the trail around the lake.
FFKDTP1 — Google review
Very big park for Cheyenne. The grass is good in about 87% of the places. Swimming pools, putt putt golf, botanical gardens, and the Daddy of them all fairgrounds is right next door. This is a hopping place in the late parts of every July. It's a beautiful park. Hopefully the city will keep making additions to make it even more accommodating. Lane Frost statue is within site from the west side of the park. That was my favorite part of visiting Lions Park on this particular visit.
Thekreal — Google review
I run Uber Uber eats and Lyft overnight, and this is one of my favorite places to park in the early mornings when things are slow. It’s just very quiet and peaceful. If there are people around, they’re also just quiet and peaceful and respectful of the peace and solitude of the people around them. During the day, I also will sometimes just come in and park and walk around and relax. I live very nearby and this park has kind of been a safe space for me during some pretty troubling times. There are two playgrounds, and a walkway around Sloan’s lake that measures 1.1 miles. They’re a little exercise spots along the concrete path and a little dirt path beneath the concrete path that I’m not sure a lot of people know is there. Just for warning the squirrels are almost domesticated because of the people who feed them. You’re not supposed to feed them, but it seems to me that enough people still do it because they will approach you and sort of be cute and beg for food, but they’re not aggressive about it or anything. It’s more cute and funny than anything else. And then there’s the botanic gardens which are just gorgeous plus the putt putt golf course, the public swimming pool, and a really fun little waterpark area for kids. A lot to do and a lot to see, but still manages to be very peaceful.
Kristin E — Google review
It's a favorite place to visit year round, but especially in the spring when there are goslings, Night Herons, tulips and beautfiul blooming trees to see!!

A.B. Camping is a delightful family-owned campground that truly embodies the spirit of hospitality. Located just outside Cheyenne, it offers a clean and well-organized environment where guests can unwind amidst beautiful mature trees and spacious sites equipped with picnic tables. The friendly staff, including the exceptional owners Jane and Marc, go above and beyond to ensure every visitor has an enjoyable experience, even during busy events like Cheyenne Frontier Days. Guests rave about the immaculate facilities, particularly the bathrooms and laundry services.
This is definitely a great place to stay--conveniently located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We had a great spot in the shade, and the park was very quiet. They offer full hook-ups in most or all of their spots and are in the process of renovating the park. They have super-clean bathrooms and showers, and they also have a laundry room. I had trouble with one of the dryers not working, so I went to the office and they not only refunded my money but gave me double back. I was able to complete the drying in one of the other dryers. Let's face it, things go wrong and things break, but they made it right. I would definitely stay here again.
Linda S — Google review
This place is quiet! no train no road noise. We stayed one night on a roadtrip and the location is very convenient to see the area. The place is tight, not much privacy but the lots are easy to get in and out. Full hook up on each side. We did not use bathrooms. We travel with a 35 ft 5th wheel. Would definitely stay again!
Gabriela S — Google review
The website description doesn’t really match the reality of the park. A few things were accurate—the young man who checked us in was very friendly, there are plenty of trees, and the laundry room was clean. However, the sites themselves are not very level. We had to unhook our flat tow just to get our motorhome leveled. The Wi-Fi was extremely poor—more buffering than actual connection—which made it nearly unusable. Thankfully, there was a football game happening across the street, so we at least had some entertainment listening to the announcer. The park also feels quite crowded, mostly filled with long-term residents, and it doesn’t seem geared toward short-term travelers. While it was relatively quiet overall, it’s not a place we’d choose to stay again. Despite their slogan claiming it’s “simple to Stay Another Day,” we didn’t find that to be the case.
Lisa B — Google review
Nice park. Easy access off I-25 in Cheyenne. Good power and water pressure. Their laundry is reasonably priced, with a place to sit outside while you wait for it to finish. They have Hunt’s Pizza that you can call in for and then pick up at the office.
Bondgirl42 — Google review
Called day of and they took the time to meet the needs of our group to a tee! Clearly customer service is very important to this business and we felt taken care of from the start. We also found that we were all exhausted so instead of cooking dinner we took our whole family to the restaurant and Race took incredible care is us and the pizza was delicious! They also gave our folks a ride back to their camper as their mobility was somewhat limited. ❤️ Thank you for taking such great care of us!
Allison K — Google review
The bbq restaurant closed. Looks like they are setting up a Hunts Brothers pizza counter. The campground sites are really tight. The bathrooms are old but clean. Laundry is clean and inexpensive. Location is good for downtown access. Good for a night or two.
Scott S — Google review
Everybody here is exceptionally helpful and nice. The showers are clean and tidy. Our dogs had a nice area to go do their business in. Within fifteen minutes of most of the attractions in town. It was quiet at night also safe and secure The laundry rooms was a reasonable price.
Homesafe — Google review
We got in late, but the staff left detailed instructions to our site. The restrooms were exceptionally clean. They offer laundry service and free WiFi. If you were just passing through I highly recommend this park.

If you're on the lookout for a serene and well-kept spot to immerse yourself in nature, Cheyenne RV Resort by RJourney is your ideal destination. Formerly known as Cheyenne KOA, this resort boasts a prime location with an array of accommodations and amenities that cater to families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Guests rave about the pristine cleanliness of the facilities, especially the bathrooms and showers, which are kept immaculate.
Needed an overnight stay. This is conveniently located off of I-80. We expected to hear the interstate traffic, but oddly, we didn't. Hook ups worked fine. We already had our site number when we made the reservation, so no issues checking in. Some people say this is a run down campground. We thought it was a quaint area. Gravel sites. Not big on landscaping, but honestly, why are people complaining about that, especially if you're only staying for a short time? If you need flowers, bring your own although the rabbits may eat them. For us, this campground met our needs. In and out without issues. We would stay here again.
Florida S — Google review
This experience started out fine. The young man that helped me with the reservation was very polite and helpful. Just looking for somewhere to stay one night and relax. It all went downhill from there. I explained we would arrive after closing and he said there would be a packet for me outside. Upon arrival no packet. Called 1-800 number and all could tell me is the space number. No bathroom/shower code, no WiFi info, just space number. These things happen, I get it. But, what I do not like is the misleading info on the website that does not let you make an informed decision. Keep in mind this is supposed to be an RV “Resort” Website:Pictures look good . Reviews good. This is a gravel lot less about 50-75 yards off the freeway (I-80). Noisy would be an understatement. Broken down cars, permanent Unkept RVS. Dog poop all over adjacent space. (Obviously been there a while.) No oversight, standards or rules enforcement.
Don J — Google review
We stayed at Cheyenne RV Resort by RJourney a year ago and found it a bit rundown, but its convenient location along I-80 made it a reasonable stop for a quick overnight rest. On our return this year, the park appeared even more worn, and unfortunately, we’ve decided we likely won’t stay again in the future. To be fair, there are positives. Our site was level, utilities worked well, the Wifi worked great, and the staff was friendly. The park was quiet—no barking dogs, loud parties, or disruptive neighbors—and we appreciated that. Although we didn’t use the facilities, the playground, pool, and restrooms looked clean. Traffic noise was noticeable outside when walking our dog but not inside our rig. One quirky observation: rabbits darting beneath the cabins through burrowed areas. Cute to see, but I imagine the sound under the floorboards might be unsettling if staying in a cabin. Overall, while the park has some good points, its condition continues to decline. We wouldn’t recommend it to family or friends and plan to choose another stop next year.
Shannon F — Google review
Traveling through with a pull trailer called reserved site paid over the phone. Got here terrible site no sewer hookup due to location placement of sewage tank. I went to the office was told no sites were available. However, I'm looking at lots of open sites. The management could easily have swap me sites instead I got no help. Poor service. Dirty dusty and gravel sites. Save your money for a better location with helpful kind employees.
Melissa P — Google review
I attempted to book a 2 night stay online. I couldn't get it to work. I called was quoted a price with a discount. I booked it. Within a few minutes I received an emailed receipt. It was 2 nights of camping, plus tax, plus $20 booking fee per night, plus a credit card fee! Heck no! I understand a credit card fee when cash is accepted but not when the only way to pay is credit card. Also $20 per night booking fee I immediately called back and canceled. They said they could not refund the credit card fee but I already spoke to my credit card company. I am posting this a heads up. Just make sure you ask about all the fees.
Michelle B — Google review
Giving 3 stars mainly because of the price of this campground for what you get. Passing through for one night and paid almost $80 (70.19) for a full hook up site. That is very high for a basic campground that is all gravel, weeds everywhere and a bit rough looking, as well as the 50 amp power tripping several times on our rv. The plus I will give is the employee I spoke with to make the reservation was very nice and it’s conveniently located off 80 and close to town and gas/ diesel. Otherwise, the price needs to be about half of what it is now.
Christina R — Google review
We thought we were booking a 4 star campground and we were planning on staying a week, instead we were placed in a spot away from the campground in an overflow parking behind the maintenance garage. They were nice enough to give us a refund. Don’t accept site #45.
Debbie M — Google review
Terrible run down Rv park. They advertise having WIFI but never hardly had any 4 nights there. Just very tired looking. Weeds everywhere flower pots growing only weeds. Picnic tables are horrible! Had a cover to put on it or wouldn’t have used. Lazy staff. Trash over flowing by pool and next day more trash stuffed in. Every time went into office for ice they had to bag it in the back. No one ever at front desk when we went in. Always in back office probably gaming. They could have made bags during day and put in cooler in shop but nope cooler was always empty. Only positive was clean pool but not heated. Probably never staying at an Rjoutney park again. Was glad to leave today and head to nice park in Nebraska.

Cahill Park is a charming neighborhood park that offers a variety of amenities for families and visitors. The park features a well-maintained playground with fun equipment, including a unique rolling slide and an outdoor classroom with easels. Families can enjoy picnics in the open spaces surrounded by large mature shade trees or take leisurely walks along the walking paths. Additionally, there are facilities such as restrooms, trash cans, and doggy bins available on-site for convenience.
Went to Cahill Park to have a picnic lunch and used the playground for our daughter. Wonderful day to go to the park as it was sunny and beautiful. There were plenty of large mature shade trees to enjoy a cool spot or get out in the sun in an open field or on the playground to enjoy the sun. They have restrooms on site as well as trash cans and doggy bins. Very large parking lot for the park. Enjoy!

Awesome park! Took my dog there for some exercise. Lots of room to walk. Big playground for kids to play on. Cool little facts here and there for everyone to learn. Big open fields to run around in. Lots of trees to sit and relax under. Plenty of benches to sit and take a break on. There is even a fountain for pets!

Very cute set up. The kids loved the equipment. Everything seemed to be in good working order. The merry-go-round didn't really want to go round though, that was a bit of a bummer for my son. Loved the outdoor classroom with the easels, such a great idea! I was excited to see the rolling slide, we had one at our hometown park when I was a kid (didn't know they still made/offered them). There were little binoculars set up all around the playground. Nice to see lots of people using the paths for walking and biking. Nice work out equipment too, some of which I've not seen in a park before. No changing station in the bathroom, not a big deal, we just had to change a diaper outside.

We were driving through Cheyenne and decided to stop somewhere for the kids to get out and play. We were glad we stopped. This is a nice new playground. Our kids enjoyed their time here. Wish we had a place like this down where we live.

Amazing park so much for the little ones to do of all ages. My little guy loves going to this park when we're in Cheyenne Wyoming and the weather is nice they do need to open up the bathrooms thou those Porta potty's don't work well with little children they are pretty nasty even for adults! We have to leave the park for potty breaks very inconvenient.

Beautiful park with fields, lots of parking, and awesome playground. The restrooms were horrible. Covered in graffiti, soap dispenser was broken off the wall, and the toilet was unusable.
Paul H — Google review
This well-designed playground commemorates the very industries that forged Cheyenne. The equipment displays topnotch craftsmanship and imagination, each piece lending its appeal to different age groups. Kids get lost in play. Parents can utilize workout stations bordering the main area. My whole family loves it. In fact, I would love to see something similar in my hometown. This place is fantastic!

The park also includes a popular skate park with ample space for street skating and bowls, providing entertainment for visitors of all ages. Additionally, the presence of picnic areas with gazebos and nearby baseball fields adds to the appeal of this charming community park.
This huge skatepark is awesome! Great street park skating and bowls. Easy to spend all day here. The layout is very open and the bowls are large. The bowl is fun to skate in and has lots of lines. The bowls are fully lined in coping...no roll ins.Take some time to appreciate the awesome art all over the skatepark!

Great skate park - large with lots of features. Love the graffiti, but some is not appropriate for little ones (in case you care). Less 1 star: bathrooms locked.
Kim N — Google review
I love this lil park the play equipment is great for my 3 & 1 year old it isn’t packed all the time and it has pea gravel. Only down side is it doesn’t get weed eated when mowed and there is some weeds in the play area but that is minor cons the pros deff out weigh. It’s next to the VA and some ball fields if you go between the ball fields there is a smaller play equip.
Tiff E — Google review
Nice park, baseball fields, and bathrooms. They do have a small picnic area with a gazebo.
Renee F — Google review
Great skate Park located on the north side. It's City owned. The older kids that hang are always helpful and amazing for my kiddos when they want to learn skateboarding BMX or scooters. Usually clean and there's trash cans and restroom nearby.

Nice ball bark, friendly group running the tournament. Concessions were open.
Jason B — Google review
During softball season we basically live here. I love that there is a playground off to the side because sometimes during a game my 4 year old loses interest and it's super convenient to be able to walk over to the playground and blow off some steam. I've never been a fan of the skate park, mostly because I feel maintenance-wise it deserves a lot more attention than the city is willing to give it. It has a lot of potential though. Overall a great park.

Wonderful park with lots of parking. A playground, climbing wall, restrooms, and soccer fields grace this park. A short walk away is an Archery ranges as well. Lots of land and fields for dog walking too. The only downside is not enough shade and the wind really blows over the open areas.

Orthopedic surgeon
Bret Winter, MD, is a highly regarded orthopedic surgeon known for his exceptional patient care and thorough approach. Many visitors have shared their positive experiences with him, highlighting his ability to make patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their appointments. Even when patients arrive late, Dr. Winter takes the time to discuss imaging results and surgical options in detail, allowing them to make informed decisions about their treatment plans. Patients appreciate his attentive nature and the instant relief they often experience from prescribed medications.
I had a good experience on my very first visit. I got to my appointment 15 minutes early and was taken to the exam room within 7 minutes. Even more surprising, Dr Winters saw me 5 minutes before I was even scheduled to be seen! Following my appointment, Dr Winters recommended my upcoming physical therapy which I hope is as efficient as my orthopedic appointment was
Michael W — Google review
Great visit, as always. Staff is professional and easy going. Didn’t have to wait long. It would have been nice if, when I made my appointment, they told me they had moved to a new location. My last visit was in August 2024, and it had been so long since they moved that they probably got out of the habit of saying “Oh, and by the way, we’ve moved since your last visit.” Dr. Winter was great, answered all my questions. And the knee injection didn’t hurt as much as I remembered it hurting from the previous time.
Todd C — Google review
This MD told my husband nothing was wrong with his shoulder with no assessment of movement or pain. Thank goodness we got another opinion. Two rotator cuff tears and bicep tear and surgery three weeks later. Do NOT go to this MD

Dr. Winter did my sons ankle and has been amazing. Great staff great surgeon! Thanks to Dr. Winter my son will Wrestle this fall! Thankful for his team❣️💯
Stacey K — Google review
Dr. Winter didn't look me in the eye, looked at my X-rays for a few minutes, told me what was broken (I already knew that from being in the ER), said I needed physical therapy, and answered three questions I had. I was disappointed with his care, he showed no concern, and I could tell he felt my arm & well being was a waste of his time. I went to him because my provider said he was the best. He wasn't the best for me. He may have spent five minutes in the room with me, if that. If you check my Google reviews, you'll see I rarely leave a negative one.
Kelly G — Google review
I had a very positive experience. The check in was quick, the waiting time was almost non-existent, and Dr. Winter was very nice and thorough! I am really glad I chose this clinic to have my upcoming carpal tunnel surgery.

My experience with Dr. Winter was completely positive. He gave me a medication that seemed to give me almost instant relief. From the minute I walked into the exam room till the time I left, I felt I was in the best hands possible.

RV park
Restway Travel Park is a hidden gem just outside Cheyenne, where cleanliness and hospitality take center stage. Guests rave about the friendly staff, particularly Karen, who goes above and beyond to ensure every stay is memorable. One family shared their delightful experience of planning a surprise birthday trip; Karen even decorated their site with festive balloons! For those traveling with families or pets, Restway Travel Park offers spacious grassy sites and a safe environment perfect for kids to play.
We were looking for RV space for one night and the lady that answered the phone was very friendly and answered all our questions. The campground is very close to downtown. The entrance to the park is gravel but the office was decorated in the fall colors, very inviting. The lady gave us a map explained where everything was located and off we went. Our site was grassy mixed with some gravel and our picnic table was nice and clean. We had hookup for water and electric. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We have a Jack Russell Terrier and he didn't mind the dog pen even though the space is small and only has gravel. I can't think of anything negative to write about, everything worked! We would stay there again.

Stayed here for 2 months. Great place. Owner was super nice and very helpful. Close to everything Cheyenne has to offer.
Jason K — Google review
Called twice. Second time I spoke to owner. I was trying to understand why a 10 year limit for unit rentals. Apparently it's just a preference. I thought it had to do with full hook up changes and was looking to be informed for future reference. The only thing I got informed about was that I would never stay there even if free. A Wyoming resident.
Johnathon R — Google review
This is the best RV park in Cheyenne. In its prime, this place was probably an amazing oasis. However, over the decades, this place has been run down, and staff have failed to keep it up. It's definitely not the worst gravel driveways I've seen, but there are plenty of massive potholes staff is neglecting to fix. Fire pits are strictly forbidden, even fully enclosed ones with proper spark arrestor. Clubhouse and therefore laundry is only accessible during business hours M-F. If you are a full-time worker, don't count on being able to do your laundry after hours or on weekends. WiFi is free, but I wouldn't count on it being usable. Sometimes, I couldn't even connect to their routers, and even if I could, bandwidth is so minimal that streaming is incredibly unreliable.
David B — Google review
NOT a pet friendly place! If you have a dog I would avoid this place. They are only allowed in the dog run (which is all gravel), and your camper. They cannot even set outside the camper with you on a leash. The noise after hours is ridiculous. It is next to a busy street, but I feel the noise was excessive. The camp spots are not marked that great. Some full hookups, but mostly for the people that have been there for years, they have a sewer service to come and empty the tanks once a week. Showers on-site were ok…free at least, as they should be with the price we paid for the month we were there. The “Karen” that works in the office is not friendly at all. She comes off as nice at first, but is not. I wouldn’t stay here again. Dogs need to run and feel grass under their little feet…not hot gravel. Sad…this place is a little rustic and lots of grassy areas, just wish it was more friendly to humans and pets.
Mary A — Google review
Postcard sized pool was great after a long day of traveling. Bathroom and showers very neat and clean. Ladies in the office friendly and helpful. The RV park itself is really not great. Seems to be 90% long term. Grass and scrubs unattended, beautiful shade shelters used to store junk now.
A T — Google review
Staff helpful, location in nice safe part of town. Nice small pool. Nice little 9 hole mini golf. Don't have full hook-ups, have water & electric in all sites & waste dump in front corner. Was very difficult for us to dump. Appeared it would be difficult for any rv of pretty much any size to dump other then a very small size rv.
DJ D — Google review
We're a traveling work family of 2 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 dogs that stayed here for almost 4 months (April-July). Husband works while I stay home with the kids so we spent plenty of time here, using all amenities, to give an honest review. It's family owned and they are so nice and there to help any way possible! The owners and their employees work nonstop around here to keep it well maintained and looking nice. It's a pretty quite and safe RV park which was a big thing for me with the kids. At night you may hear highway noise but nothing that kept us up, just the occasional loud motorcycle driving by. There are quite a few long term campers that live here but each one is well kept and very nice people! Having two toddlers boys that run wild I was worried about the long term people but thankfully they all welcomed us with smiles and conversations any time we seen one another. We were on full hook ups but due to a water heater issue we had to use the bathroom facilities a few days and they are newly updated and nice. The swimming pool and mini golf are well kept and we used both multiple times. Family of 4 we spent alot of time using the washer & dryers which are kept clean - the cost to use is reasonable and can only use these during office hours but since I'm home during the day that wasn't an issue, for some it may be. The office area is cute and cozy with some snack options (candy bars, chips, popsicles/ice cream) and coffee bar. The dog rules are enforced with leashes at all times, a fenced in gravel area for bathroom use, and to pick up after your dog. The two cons I'd give it is the playground and the WiFi. We did play on the playground a handful of times it's just small and older. Wifi was always hit and miss, depending on the amount of RVs there so by summer time we weren't getting it often. The wifi was a luxury for us watching TV so wasn't a big deal but know it could be for others. Overall we highly recommend this RV park whether be one night or long term! We left here with many memories and life long friends!!

Full of homeless people who have no where else to hang out and sleep all day. At least until 5:00 when they can get back into the Comea shelter to eat supper and sleep. So after 5:00 it turns into a pretty nice area to enjoy with the family.

I'm from out of town and saw the playground from I25 and I just had to stop with my little ones. I loved the parent and infant/toddler swing and all the interactive parts of the playground. The base is rubber which is really cool to me compared to the wood chip, sand or pea gravel ones I live around.

One of the best school parks in Cheyenne due to the different variety of playground equipment there. My kids like going here because there's just so much to do. Not only is there 3 to 4 different sections of playground equipment, there is a basketball court with many hoops and there is also a big field, which can be used for soccer, football or baseball. Jim L — Google review
In Oct 14 2021, it was a snowy day and 34 degree outside. I thought lets go and grab a coffee. No one goes to Starbucks store just for coffee. People usually go for a good vibe, happy & connected experiences that you share with other people at the store. I went to Awake Coffee store this morning around 10:30 am. I asked barista how old your drip coffee is? She told that she just made it. I asked her at what time? She told me around 7 am. Okay by this time I already had paid and tipped her. I politely requested her, could you please make another drip coffee because it does not taste good? She blatantly told me that they only make drip coffee once in the morning. I have never experienced such an impolite response from barista on customers' request . Even a clerk at the gas station would happily make a fresh batch of coffee on customer's request. I got my coffee and and just tossed the coffee in the trash right-way. Please do not go to this store for a drip coffee.

Way overpriced at $50 night as this park is very run down, including most of the trailers ((it looks like most of them are from the 60s and 70s and are held together with duct tape and tarps!) We’re walking to the restaurant tonight so that’s about the only good thing.

The trails are super for hiking and biking. The lake is awesome for kayaking. The entire park is immaculate and very peaceful. Wonderful, friendly staff. Can't say enough good things

The Paul Smith Children's Village at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens is a captivating and educational destination for families. Named after a former board member, this interactive garden features a windmill, teepee village, and educational plantings that engage young visitors. The village was established as part of the WPA job-training program during the Depression era. Kids can enjoy playing in the shallow water, exploring teepees, and crossing small bridges while learning about plants and nature.
I visited just a week or two before the first snow. Perfect day, plants were thriving and my kids had a great time. There are activities like finding fairies that “live” in the garden for kids to do to keep them engaged. Get a the mug shots of the fairies at check in desk.

Beautiful cute little garden for kids. It is lot of things for kids to play with and learn in the process. I am sure your kids will have good time. It does not have any entry fee. Wish it was bigger to accommodate many more interesting stuffs for kids.

Great spot outdoors to take kids. We spent about 30 mins here. A short loop through a beautiful garden with interactive features along the way. Best thing, it’s free!

This place is a must visit if you have small kids. Plenty of parking. Lots of interesting things to see/do around. Bring appropriate clothes/foot wear as the kids may easily get wet. It’s an outdoor place so plan to come when weather is nice.

The Botanic garden was beautiful. Great free experience. Donation box at the beginning of the village. The kids enjoyed the interactive area to play. There was a small bridge where the kids could go and play and pull themselves across. The kids could hop in the shallow water and play. There were small teepees for the kids to climb around in as well! We saw a few bunnies at the entrance. Would definitely come back!

What a beautiful garden! A great hands' on experience for my kids. It's huge, though - wish we'd had more time to go through and see everything.

Very beautiful. The koi fish are beautiful, seeing the rabbits hop around calmly, and smelling the nice aromas the flowers give is very soothing and pleasant.
Dennisse F — Google review
My son always has a great time when he's playing with the different activities set up with in the park or when they have a fun project scheduled. The last time we visited they had a huge squirt gun fight. It was a blast.

Park
Cheyenne Parks & Recreation offers an incredible array of activities for all ages, making it a fantastic destination for families. The gymnastics program, led by the talented Coach Shannon, has transformed many young athletes from timid beginners into confident competitors, with some even earning state titles! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring a welcoming environment. Safety and cleanliness are top priorities here, providing peace of mind while enjoying various classes that cater to everyone from infants to seniors.
We couldn't be more thrilled with the Cheyenne Parks & Rec gymnastics team. Coach Shannon is the BEST! She took our daughter from a scared gymnast who lacked confidence, all the way to three State Titles. This is the place to be if you're a competitive gymnast in Cheyenne! Thank you, Coach Shannon!!!

When you head west from the Cleveland parking area, there are no trash receptacles until you cross under Ridge Rd and climb up to street level.

This is a nice little park. Quiet and very accessible. Parking is limited though, but is close to everything. The only thing that you need to keep in mind is that there are no restrooms
