Great place to cool down and relax, plenty off toilets and change rooms available. Pools are great, easy pool entry for all ages. Sails over pools are perfect. Easy to get to, with plenty of caffes near bye.

The Airlie Beach Lagoon is an amazing place in the heart of town and oceanside, where you can swim, lay out in the sun or shade, have a picnic or just sit and people watch. This place is such a wonderful attraction to an already beautiful place.
Amy H — Google review
What a fantastic initiative from the city to make such an amazing pool for free for their locals and tourists. It has lifeguards as well to take care of you and the water is very nice. I see that many locals come here for sunbathing as well when the sun is out in the weekend. Great vibes here!

FREE admission swimming complex in the heart of Airlie Beach, Whitsundays! 🏊‍♀️ Open from 5.30am to 9.00pm daily (summer hours until 31 May 2025). It has a public toilet, showers, and is surrounded by picnic areas and gardens. There is a section for lap swimmers, but best to do it early mornings or late nights for less crowds.

Airlie Beach Lagoon is a fantastic spot to relax and unwind in the heart of Airlie Beach. The lagoon is beautifully maintained, with crystal-clear water, shaded areas, and plenty of space for swimming or simply soaking up the sun. It’s family-friendly, with shallow areas for kids and lifeguards on duty, making it safe and enjoyable for everyone. The views of the ocean and nearby palm trees add to the tropical vibe, and best of all—it’s free! A must-visit when in the Whitsundays.

Tasman Holiday Parks - Airlie Beach, also known as Island Gateway Holiday Park, offers a variety of accommodation options including camper van sites, villas, and motel-style rooms. The park features practical yet comfortable decor and is conveniently located within walking distance to the amenities of Airlie Beach town. Guests can enjoy a range of facilities such as outdoor tennis courts, an outdoor pool, and a playground. The well-maintained shower and toilet block facilities provide modern amenities with ample space.
We arrived late on a Friday during the busy school holidays, and just about everything in Airlie Beach was fully booked. We thought we were out of luck — until we met the amazing team at the caravan park reception, Rachel and Sarah. These two absolute legends went above and beyond to help my partner and me, and somehow made a miracle happen for us. One of the most important things in hospitality is that warm first impression, and Rachel and Sarah nailed it. They were cheerful, welcoming, and clearly love what they do. It made all the difference. The motorhome park itself was fantastic — clean, well-maintained, and in a prime location. There’s even a great pub just across the road, which was a nice bonus after a long day on the road. Honestly, we feel like we got the better end of the deal. If it weren’t for those two reception angels, we would’ve been stuck. Huge thanks to the team at this Airlie Beach caravan park — you turned our night around and made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend it! 👍

Great location and easy check-in process. Toilets and facilities all clean and working. We booked a cabin with shared bathroom which was great for what we needed, however the room looked a bit tired and doesn't look as nice as the photos (which I suspect are from a few years ago when the park maybe first opened). Overall good value for money. Thanks

Stayed in the glamping tents - Amazing experience. Reasonably new, comfy beds, great sized bathroom and spaces. Kids loved it Got a little hot on sides during the day but didnt worry us as we had the fans and air con going, as well as werent spending time there during the day. Daily feeding of the birds at 4pm was amazing. Pool and playground was great for kids (2 and 5yo)

The Tasman Holiday Park in Airlie Beach was one of the best campgrounds we visited during our 3-week trip through Australia. The site is immaculately maintained, with super clean communal kitchens and sanitary facilities. We treated ourselves to a powered site with a private bathroom, which felt like pure luxury after more than a week on the road. We also did our laundry there – the washing machines and dryers were spotless and in excellent condition, and you can even buy small packets of laundry detergent on-site if you don’t have your own. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we can wholeheartedly recommend the Tasman Holiday Park to everyone! By the way, the Tasman Holiday Park in Cairns, which we booked afterwards, was just as clean and well-kept – definitely among the best parks of our entire trip!
Claudio — Google review
The campground itself isn’t bad… pretty much your average Tasman, but it’s been built right next to a stagnant creek, which means mosquitoes and midges are everywhere, especially at night. The place has potential, but maintenance and cleanliness are a real issue. The bathrooms were in terrible condition, the camp kitchen was dirty and disorganized, and during the four days we stayed, the bins were never emptied. There was rubbish and bad smell all around our camping area. A shame, because the location could be great, but it really needs better cleaning
Sebastiano V — Google review
We had an issue with our booked room, which we reported at the reception. The very friendly lady at the front desk helped us immediately and with great kindness – something we have rarely experienced before! Big compliments to her! After that, we had a wonderful stay. We also really appreciated the coffee cart at the parking entrance.
Florian K — Google review
Great Caravan park. Really good pool, jumping pillow and playground for the kids. Located really close to Town, and opposite a large restaurant/pub (with playground for kids). Site was a good size and facilities clean, the daily bird feeding was great.
Matt F — Google review
Nice campsite, shame people are a bit dirty (kitchen/toilet), other than that the campsite is pretty cool. Enjoyed our stay, receptionist were lovely. Early morning you can find outside reception a butcher truck and also a Thai food truck in the evenings, which was quite cool. The area is great.

NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park is a popular choice for visitors to Airlie Beach, offering various accommodation options including bungalows, cabins, campsites, and caravan sites. The park provides amenities such as a swimming pool, free WiFi, and a dedicated tour booking office. Conveniently located within walking distance of the town center, it serves as an ideal base for exploring the area's attractions like Airlie Beach Lagoon and Coral Sea Marina.
We absolutely loved our stay at the NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park! The staff were amazing!!! Especially Kate and Connie (I think that was her name) so friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our accommodation was spotless, tidy, and really comfortable. The pool was a total hit with my child perfect for cooling off and having a bit of fun after exploring Airlie. The whole park has such a relaxed, family-friendly vibe and you can tell the team really care about their guests. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!! Highly recommend!
Kylie M — Google review
Great location, staff were lovely and pool is great, but the amenities leave a lot to be desired. For $79 a night it was pretty disappointing to have such old and dirty facilities. Weirdly designed blocks that you couldn’t wait to get out of. There’s also such a small number of toilets and showers for the number of people staying. As an NRMA park you expect better. Also had someone take our washing out the machine to put their own in and subsequently lost some brand new items, so maybe additional machines to deal with the capacity would be helpful so others don’t handle your personal belongings.

Great caravan park. We really enjoyed our stay. Decent size sites with cement slabs. Good amenities and loved the resort worthy swimming pool. On site cafe was good for morning coffee and we enjoyed the Sunday Country live music. Easy walk to Coral Sea Marina with good restaurants and next door to a Coles supermarket.

We stayed in a self contained studio which had the necessities but it was a little on the basic side of things. We checked in Wednesday evening, around 5.30pm. Our first impressions were not the best… unfortunately the girl who checked us in wasn’t particularly bothered to give us a warm welcome and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Onto the room, which unfortunately wasn’t great - we couldn’t raise this with the staff as reception had closed and we had to leave before reception opened the next day. We don’t need to go into detail because we emailed them about the issues and they responded swiftly with rectification. This time on reception we were greeted by Chrissy who was wonderful and a fantastic example of what working in hospitality should look like - Chrissy, thank you 🙏🏻 Overall, the stay at NRMA was nice, the park it’s is spotlessly clean and the setting is beautiful. all the communal facilities were really good and provided what you need for a good self contained stay. If we had been checked in by Chrissy and hadn’t had the original issue with our room our review would have been higher - we would recommend this place.
Andy T — Google review
Had a great experience. Nice shaded camp site for once, but walking through the park, they could do with more trees, but so can most parks. Very clean, definitely a thumbs up from us and we will revisit in the future.
Lindi W — Google review
We had an amazing stay at NRMA Airlie Beach Holiday Park! Our group of six stayed in a bungalow, which was clean, comfortable, and great value for money. The location is perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing. A special shoutout to Chrissie at reception, who was an absolute highlight of our trip—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend this place for a fun and stress-free getaway!
Scott W — Google review
A little piece of paradise! Beautiful location with a mountain range right there and plenty of palm and native trees. Lagoon style swimming pool was awesome, even with floating been bag seats and sunbathing chairs. Right accross the road from the beach, close to the touristy bits and friendly and helpful staff.
Paul L — Google review
Stayed 3 days camping area packed with no camping ground edicate people walking around constantly through other people's camp area. The toilets and showers were just constantly being used day and night tourists were using bathroom sinks to wash there dishes. Not enough showers for the size of the park and people just leaving a mess and wet dirty floor after having a shower even though there was squeeggy mops provided for use. One drunk person bashing other people's vans and threatened people and nothing was done about it. I would not recommend this place ill never stay there again totally overated. The Smell coming from the caravan toilet dump point was discusting from over use the park needs more than one dump point and at least another amentites block.

Embark on an unforgettable adventure with Whitehaven Xpress, a day tour that offers a plethora of activities to make the most of your time in the Whitsundays. Experience two mesmerizing snorkeling spots teeming with vibrant coral and fish. The tour includes visits to the renowned Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet Lookout, where you can revel in extraordinary views.
Unforgettable day in the Whitsundays aboard the Whitehaven Xpress, a very comfortable ship with a great crew. The company is family run and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Refreshments are served all day and the lunchtime barbecue on the island is exceptional. Beautiful snorkeling spot south of the beach, swimming and walking to the lookouts organized by the crew. To choose without hesitation!
Regis B — Google review
We had a great day on the Whitehaven Express tour. I chose them specifically because of the amount of time you get to spend on the beach rather than racing away to snorkel because my wife has no interest in snorkeling, and my kiddo can't swim well enough to give it a crack. There was stacks of food on the BBQ so you won't go hungry, and there is more than enough time to make the most of Whitehaven. My son had a blast chasing the fish in the shallows, and stalking the goannas as they tried to get a snack from everyone at lunch time. We also saw a non venomous snake. The crew were great, really friendly and happy to have a chat and a bit of fun, even trying to get a sing along happening with limited success. The only disappointment was that we spent too much time up at the Hills inlet look out taking in the amazing view so we didn't get time to go down on the inlet beach, another 15 minutes there would have been great but there's only so much time!

Amazing amazing tour - the team, kai, Bella, Sam and captain Dan were amazing and such lovely people with great personalities! We went on 2 walking trails to see the stunning views of the swirling sands and the beaches, had a delicious Aussie bbq with Stumpy the local lizard and swam in the champagne bay! Our walks were accompanied by Sam and Bella playing tunes on the ukelele too 🎶 We got tea, coffee and biscuits in the way there and cheese and crackers on the way back which was a nice touch! Shoutout to Wayne who picked us up and drove us back, he took us to the main st even though it wasn’t our stop - thanks for that!
Jennifer L — Google review
We had a awesome trip with Captain Dan and his son Sam! Our trip to Tongue point overlooking the magical Hill Inlet and Whitehaven was super memorable. The weather was perfect, the boat trip smooth, and everything ran like a well-oiled machine. Dan is super laid back and entertaining, as well as a pretty great BBQ chef! Delicious food, amazing scenes and an all-round fantastic day was had by all on the Whitehaven Xpress! Thanks guys!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Experience with Whitehaven Xpress Tour!** We had an absolutely fantastic day with Whitehaven Xpress Tour! The swirly sands at Hill Inlet were breathtaking, and swimming at Whitehaven Beach was pure paradise. The BBQ lunch they prepared was delicious, adding the perfect touch to an already amazing day. Captain Dan, Jess, and Decky Dan were all incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had the best time. Their enthusiasm and hospitality truly stood out. We can't wait to book with them again the next time we're in town. Highly recommend this tour for an unforgettable experience!

Wonderful dinner this evening...Thai Fish Curry, and Brownie Dessert. Yummy Yum Yum Rum cocktail. Friendly waitress Eva from France, helped with our selection and gave us excellent service. One of the best meals and atmosphere ever. And nice to meet the charming manager Andrew. We will be back!

We went there to celebrate my sister 30th birthday. The grill fish was alright. One side of the fish was good, the other side was super dry. I didn’t know was dry on one side, and I shared some of the fish to my sister. The lamb with mash was not very good. First of all, my friend asked the staff if they can put some note she would like well done. When the lamb dish came, it was medium-rare. The lovely waitress took it back and came back well done, but overall still below average. My sister had the seafood risotto. I’m sorry. It’s probably the worst seafood risotto I had in my life. The seafood wasn’t fresh at all. My sister didn’t like it and me neither. She had to squeeze lots of lemon on her seafood. The best parts of the dinner were the cocktails. They were all above average. I would only recommend the drinks.

Words can't even begin to describe this restaurant. I have travelled from Gold Coast where we have access to amazing seafood where I thought I couldn't get it better anywhere else. Well how I've eaten my own words. We ordered a dozen oysters, a garlic bread and the seafood platter. Firstly, those oysters 😋 😍 so fresh and delicious. I could have eaten them all-night. Secondly, that garlic bread. I would travel back to Airlie Beach just to eat that garlic bread. In my 34 years of living, i have NEVER had garlic bread so good. How does one even do this? But you have! Lastly, the seafood platter- was recommended for 2. 3 of us ate it and couldn't finish it. Such a generous amount of food and really good value for money. All the seafood was so fresh and delicious. Extra points to the chefs for leaving the Roe on the scallops- this is a rarity these days I cannot fault this place at all. If I could give a higher star rating, I would. I 10/10 highly recommend this restaurant. All staff were interactive and nothing was too difficult for them. We were able to swap some things out on a seafood platter for something else. Next time I'm in Airlie Beach, I will 100% be returning to your restaurant. My partner is a chef who can pick apart any meal. Nope, not this time! He couldn't fault it at all either! (That's saying alot)
Olivia M — Google review
My family and I are here on holiday. We came here for dinner in hopes to find a good fresh seafood place! We originally had our reservation inside however we asked to move outside, staff were absolutely amazing! They were able to move our booking without a fuss, we were served by a gentleman who had shaved blonde hair, his service was outstanding, kind and had perfect communication. 🙌🏼 Drinks were refreshing and delicious, perfect balance for the type of food and gorgeous weather at Arlie! The food was out of this world!! Compliments to the chefs - my parents had the seafood platter for 2 + 1/2 dozen oysters: the seafood was fresh, delicious and had a great variety of different types of seafood which was all paired beautifully with the sauce!! 10/10. I had the seafood chowder, this dish is one of my all time favourites and I have to say chefs you nailed it!!! Best chowder I’ve had!! Again flavours were paired perfectly and the ‘cobloaf’ style the meal had just made the whole dish feel like home! This restaurant is pricey but expected as you get what you’re paying for in perfect service and great food and drinks!! I can’t recommend Fish D’vine enough!! We will be back next time we visit 🙌🏼🙌🏼 🙌🏼 Experience 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Food + Beverage 10/10 Thank you for having us and making our stay so special and memorable!

Excellent place in Airlie for Seafood and cocktails! Our whole meal was delicious from the amazing Soft shell crab which has this delicious brown sweet sauce with it that ties it all together, the grilled prawns & scallops were devine, Burramundi cooked to perfection and a very authentic tasting Chowder similar to one I have had in San Fran! They offer a great selection of drinks and desserts that you will not be disappointed.
Darryl A — Google review
Overall good food, service and location. The mud crab was big and with a tasty sauce (Thai Curry had coconut milk in it) and barramundi was fresh, as were oysters, and the bread was delicious. Overall good lunch, about $$$ in price.
Jennifer S — Google review
Amazing cocktails, food (which wasn't overly expensive) and service. Cannot fault and would definitely go back again. My partner and I tried 6 cocktails between us and all were delicious. We had the BBQ prawns and Ginger oysters for entree. Both were so nice and you could tell the seafood was fresh. We had the Thai fish curry and BBQ bugs for mains. The best fish curry I have ever eaten. The bugs were also great and a nice light dish. Dessert we had the brownie and mousse. Again, we couldn't fault. The restaurant was really busy but our waitress Celine did a great job. She was running from table to table and no one was left waiting very long for anything. I wish we were here longer to go back.

If you are looking to have amazing seafood, coke here right now!!! Their fish and chips are one of the best I’ve had in my life, the soft shell crab was divine as in the name, and everything else we ordered was just amazing including the drinks! The staff were so friendly and the food came out quite quickly. Because if our amazing experience, we booked another dinner here 🥳

Anchor Bar is a popular spot in Airlie Beach, offering stunning elevated sea views and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu features a variety of hearty meals including fish tacos, pork belly burgers, and share plates. Visitors can also enjoy cocktails by the pool while taking in the breathtaking scenery of the Coral Sea. With its picturesque location and delicious food options, Anchor Bar is an ideal destination for both lunch and dinner.
Tucked away amongst the terraces, we wouldn't even have known Anchor Bar was there except for great reviews on Google, and recommendations from our resort staff (different resort to where Anchor Bar is located). We were not disappointed. Staff were friendly, courteous, attentive, professional. Our party of four shared two platters between us – the Can't Decide Platter, and the Seafood Platter. The assortment of foods was all delicious, and though we all ate to full, we still had a little bit left over to take home. 😋 Personal highlights: fresh shucked oysters, mussels, pork ribs, pork belly, sweet potato fries. But honestly, everything was good.
Clem F — Google review
We were advised of this place from a local. It’s not on the main strip but only a short stroll away. There weren’t many people there on the day we went so service was attentive. The view is spectacular. The chicken wings scrumptious and the spicy cherry margarita absolutely divine. There is a pool to have a swim in if you so desire.
Sasha D — Google review
Absolutely Fantastic! My wife and I have visited Airlie Beach 3 times in recent months and couldn’t possibly recommend the Anchor Bar more highly. Maybe 10 times eating here because of the exceptional food, drinks, service and view. A faultless menu that keeps us coming back. Pick anything on the menu and you can’t go wrong - but a special tip of my hat to the brilliant Mussels in a tomato chilli broth, the scallops & pork belly, the scallop ceviche and the fall off the bone ribs. Run by a super cool dude (Cheers Brett 🍻), his family and a staff that do a credit to attending the floor and anyone’s needs. Super chilled and friendly vibe that makes it a pleasure to be there. Beautiful views and cocktails also. We are going back for dinner tonight and so were the people we met one table over. Exceptional place Brett, a credit to you and can’t wait to come back.
Dave S — Google review
Great Food, Friendly Service, Meh Cocktails Anchor Bar’s chicken wings were crispy, flavorful, and everything you'd hope for. The steak was above average with sweet corn sauce. But the standout? The coconut jackfruit curry — unexpectedly amazing, rich, and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Only letdown? The cocktails which fell flat and were underwhelming or it could be the cocktail that we had that day and so we decided not to go for another one. Stick to beer or soda and enjoy the great food.

The Anchor Bar was a great find over the road from our accommodation (Toscana Village Resort). Our meals were great - prawn Caesar salad and fish & chips. The barramundi was amazing! Only negative was the music was really loud.

Delicious food, great service and lovely views! Came here for dinner as 4 and got the Can’t Decide platter, jackfruit curry and chicken wings. The platter was fantastic, everything was delicious with the ribs and pork belly being the highlight. it’s probably enough for 4 people. The jackfruit curry was also sensational - amazing flavour. Wings were good, house spicy sauce was a bit better than the buffalo. All in all the food was exceptional, would recommend!

Where do I even start?!? The most phenomenal service (shoutout to bree! You are so bubbly and cheerful it was contagious, made our experience here amazing!) first of all the scallop ceviche was incredible, everything that our group ordered was just perfection! The ribs, tender falling of the bone and the sauce?!?!? Ugh wonderfull! Cannot speak more highly of this place!

Calamari - very crispy and well seasoned, the side salad was amazing (lemon jus paired well and balanced with the calamari) Lamb stew - pesto sauce was amazing, although the feta cheese is a bit salty, yoghurt sauce is excellent A bit disappointed with the beef steak sandwich - the steak was not tender / flavor of the beef was not that rich Staff are friendly and good environment / vibe , need additional costs for extra sauces

Beaches Bar & Grill is a popular spot in Airlie Beach, offering casual lodging with air-conditioned dorms and private rooms. The lively bar and restaurant provide local pub vibes, cheap drinks, pool tables, and live music for a classic night out experience. Paddy's Shenanigans is another top nightlife spot in the area, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of Airlie Beach and Cannonvale.
Where other places on the main road of Airlie were a little difficult to get at due to arrogant pricing or snotty staff, beaches was an easy visit with fair pricing and a delicious snitty. I felt comfortable and welcome as a solo diner and staff were just a tad friendlier than other spots around. Definitely worth it if you're after a no fuss lunch.

My parents and I came here to have beer, have lunch, and play pool. We are traveling and do not carry cash. They asked for a $10 deposit for the pool cue. We were the only ones in the restaurant/bar. I offered to give my ID or something else of value for the deposit for the pool cue or even pay on card. The waitress refused bluntly. The lack of service in Airlie as a whole is ridiculous. The customer comes last and many of the waitresses/waiters seem to despise their job and not want to be here. They look and act miserable. This place is very run down as well so it seems they don't care about their customers. Looks like a local dive bar. We are not unruly, nor demanding customers. It just baffles me how unaccommodating Airlie is as a whole. This place was my last straw. Maybe coming from the states and now living in Melbourne has created my expectation that customer service and working within customer service means that you service the customers. It seems like the further you go up the coast of Australia the dumber, more unaccommodating the service.

Berry & Maple Patisserie, situated in the south marina village of Coral Sea Marina, offers a delightful dining experience with stunning views of the private superyacht arm. Whether you're grabbing a quick sweet treat on-the-go or indulging in a leisurely breakfast or lunch, the patisserie presents an array of delectable options that will leave you wanting to return for more.
Excellent staff, very professional and friendly. Beautiful croissants and bespoke white chocolate mud cake and cupcakes for a special occasion on a super yacht. Guests and crew absolutely loved it, not too sweet, soft white chocolate butter cream and delicious layers of moist cake. Well Done Julz

Berry and Walnut is a patisserie serving up a range of pastries, desserts, in house made bagels, custom cakes and sweets. It was one of first stops in Airlie since we had been hearing good things about it. Located on Shingley drive, Coral Sea Marina in Airlie Beach, in the beautiful Whitsundays, and the outlook is perfect. We like the styling too, the pale pink and white decor is sweet and perfect match for cafe. We stopped in numerous times, trying their savoury danishes, cupcakes, bagels and croissants. Everything was excellent! They also do the best coffee, using Paradox Coffee Roasters as their offical coffee bean supplier, specifically the Penny Lane blend, with notes of salted caramel, dark chocolate and cinnamon. We loved the coffee at Paradox and were pleased to see this cafe use it, for it is excellent!

I highly recommend coming in for breakfast Brunch or a cheeky early lunch.

Amazing pastries and coffee! Get in quick as there is limited seating otherwise takeaway is a great option. Made fresh daily with some super tasty options. If you don’t like bagels you might need to settle for pastry.

Super cute and nice cafe directly at pier. Sandwiches and bagels plus a great variety of pastries for sweet tooth. Cool to grab a coffee, chill while waiting for the tour. You see boats coming and going, helicopter landing etc.

Best flat white and pastries I have tried in Airlie so far. Coming from a French, their pain au chocolat and croissant are amazing. It is definitely a little expensive, but worth it!

Update 2: I’ve now become a regular here bc their coffee is unmatched. Every single pastry I’ve had here was to die for. You HAVE to try the almond croissant, it will change your life. And they staff is always so nice and friendly. Amazing coffee (mine wasn’t hot enough in the beginning bc I want it boiling but they made me a new one without a fuss and it was piping). The pastries were really good!! We had the carrot cake and the apple custard danish, both scrumptious. Lovely staff as well Update: went here a second time, amazing chai latte and coffee again (and she remembered that I wanted my coffee extra extra hot haha)

One of the most spectacular marinas I’ve ever seen.
Jᥲmіᥱ — Google review
The marina was full and we were placed with the commercial operators which was so noisy and a lot of traffic. I would suggest requesting the south arm when booking as it's quieter and closer to the Ocean Club and Lookout Lounge. We did provide feedback to management when we were leaving and they were very understanding and proactive. We wish we had mentioned it on arrival but we didn't know until 5pm when the Thunder Cat and other operators returned with hordes of people.

Holiday apartment rental
Airlie Beach Apartments offer a relaxed stay with well-equipped kitchens/kitchenettes, a saltwater pool, and a BBQ area. The location is ideal, situated at the foot of the mountain and close to the lively street. Despite being slightly worn on the outside, the accommodations are clean and tidy with friendly staff. The property's proximity to supermarkets, beaches, entertainment facilities, and various amenities makes it convenient for guests.
I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Airlie Beach Apartments in February, and I could not recommend it more highly. From my initial booking to the end of my stay - everything was perfect. The lovely Miss Bridget went over and above to make sure our stay was exceptional. Most Valued Receptionist award definitely in order for her. Very friendly housekeeping staff, clean and spacious rooms, and walking distance to main street, what more could you ask for. I can't wait to stay again, and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for accommodation in Airlie Beach.

Perfect Stay – A Truly Exceptional Experience We had the pleasure of staying at Airlie Beach apartments for two nights, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The apartment was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable, offering the perfect rest after a long day of travel. The location was unbeatable, with Airlie Beach hotel and lagoon just a short walk away. Whether you’re looking to explore the city or relax, it offers the best of both worlds, ensuring guests have a wonderful stay. Additionally, the staff Bridget n Bill went above and beyond to accommodate us, we were wishing we had more time to chat to them. Lovely people. Overall, I highly recommend Airlie Beach Apartments to anyone looking for a hassle-free stay. We can’t wait to return!
T R — Google review
This property is unfortunately not fit for a comfortable stay. The overall cleanliness was very poor. There were ants throughout the apartment, along with cobwebs and spider webs in multiple corners, giving the place an unmaintained and unhygienic feel. The bathroom facilities were also disappointing — the taps, even when fully turned on, provided very little water pressure, making it inconvenient to use. Soundproofing is virtually non-existent. The windows let in constant noise from local traffic, as well as loud music from nearby shops, which makes it difficult to rest or relax indoors. The mattresses are of extremely poor quality — they feel worn out and uncomfortable, almost as if they were discarded items rather than proper bedding. Security is also a major concern. The door locks feel flimsy and unreliable, giving the impression that anyone could break in without much effort. This made my entire family feel unsafe throughout the stay. Combined with the lack of maintenance and comfort, the overall experience felt like staying in substandard conditions, far below what one would expect. The only positive aspect of this property is its location, as it is close to the beach and local amenities. Unfortunately, this is not enough to make up for the many shortcomings. Unless you have absolutely no other option, I would strongly recommend avoiding this property

I stayed at Airlie Beach Apartments with friends, and it was absolutely amazing! The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were incredibly lovely and made us feel welcome. The location is also amazing, everything you need (shops restaurants, beach) is within walking distance. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Airlie Beach!

Do not stay here. My partner and I stayed from the 29th of December until the 3rd of January. Upon arrival there was no power in our bathroom. The manager said he didn’t want to pay for an electrician to come out over the holiday period as it would be more expensive. He instead ran a lamp over the bathroom vanity for light … The booking.com page says the property came with wifi, well it doesn’t. The manager said they were aware of this issue but the owner hasn’t had the time to get wifi extenders. The wifi was located in the office, multiple people complained that their rooms could not get wifi. Bathroom had no curtains which backed onto a carpark. I asked the owner for curtains and she said it doesn’t need curtains as it had a frosted window. At nighttime with the lamp on anyone could see into our bathroom. The room was not clean, there were stains all over the bed, the aircon was leaking water on us during the night, the pool was never cleaned, mould all in the shower. After all of this we asked the manager if we could have a night or two refunded due to the extremely poor experience. Her response was that the owner of the place was an accountant and a tight a$$, she said we can try and ask for a refund but good luck to us. She was correct, the owner is ignoring booking.com who are seeking answers and he is ignoring us. Do not give this establishment your money
Daniel S — Google review
Rooms we booked were terrible, aircon didn’t work in one room, the shower was blocked and pooled water and cockroach was in one of the kitchen drawers. Received a call on the first night, accusing us of being too loud and was told we would get evicted when we weren’t even on the promise at the time. Location is good but do not recommend

Terrible rooms , shower curtain stained , what hotels have shower curtins 🤮front door not closing or locking , beds had visible bugs & ants in both rooms . Ceiling fan switches faulty . No lights for the stairs at night . I would compare it to 100baht per night room in Thailand.

Whitsunday Segway Tours offers an exciting way to explore Airlie Beach with their Rainforest Segway tour. Led by knowledgeable and friendly guide Zak, visitors can enjoy a 20km track through stunning semi-tropical forests on eco-friendly segways. The tour lasts about two hours and includes a short tutorial on riding the segway. Guests have praised the ease of learning to ride the segways and appreciated the informative nature of the tour, as well as the delicious morning tea provided.
Absolute must do when coming to Airlie Beach. Zak our guide was amazing and had so much knowledge of the rainforest and it's native plantlife/wildlife. He was so patient also and so welcoming for adults as well as my 12year old son. Morning tea just capped it off with those amazing muffins and brownies. Thankyou Zak for making this a memorable day for us 😃

We've done Segway tours all over the world and the Rainforest tour ranks as one of the most memorable. Every aspect from initial contact through scheduling, pickup, transport, and execution were flawless. Zak does a great job with communication and description along the route. We highly recommend this company and both of their tour offerings.

The morning tea was very delicious and the whole experience was incredible. Highly recommend.

The Rainforest tour is the Best Segway Tour we have experienced. Zac, our Tour guide and owner, picked us up from our motel and drove everyone to the Conway NP. Where he gave some newbies in our group expert instruction on how to ride a segway. We all practiced using the segways before setting off along the path into the rainforest. Very informative Tour, plenty of photo opportunities. Zac's attention to detail, keeping us safe, and supplying everyone with a picnic, and a cuppa, and water at our halfway point was impressive. Thank you for our delicious snacks. ❤️ We Highly recommend this tour, a Must Do at Airlie Beach. We also booked the boardwalk and dinner Segway Tour.

100% recommend this experience. From pick up to drop off Zak was very attentive. Sharing his local knowledge of the area being born a bred in the Whitsundays. He's also handy at taking decent photos of yourself/group with your personal phone. Blueberry muffins were scrumptious compliments to his wife. It's a real good way to see a different part of the area.

Hiking area
Conway National Park Trail Head is a must-visit destination near Airlie Beach, offering easy access to the diverse landscapes of Cape Conway. The park features steep rock cliffs, lush rainforests, mangroves, and woodlands. Visitors can embark on several kilometers long walking trails that lead to secluded beaches and panoramic outlooks over the Whitsundays.
Amazing hidden hiking spot, not many people at all! Quite steep and warm on the way up, bring enough water. Might be hard to find, but google maps shows the trailhead!
Amar S — Google review
First things first. There is no parking at the top of the street where the entrance to the hike is. You need to park in the nearby streets. The hike is relatively easy, the track is well defined and maintained. There's lot's of interesting trees to look at as you make your way to the lookout. It's definitely worth doing as the view to the north is lovely.
AC — Google review
This is the trailhead for the Honeyeater lookout trail. DO NOT Google "Honeyeater" trail or you will end up in Cannonvale and there is no trailhead there and you'll waste an hour minimum. It is a steep walk, so bring a liter of water minimum
Ross S — Google review
No parking in the vicinity makes it not very family friendly. The view at the trail head is pretty but it's in the middle of residential houses, so roofs and buildings. In the case of our visit, a new place higher up the hill above the trail head was under construction so not too peaceful for us. The trail head is not a lookout in that there is no platform, just a dirt track to get started on the bushwalk. This limits photo opportunities. The main view is of the marina and surrounds which is pretty, but as it's man made I feel should be acknowledged. Would be keen to try the walk proper and see if there are other vantage points along the way. All in all, it was ok but not great
Andreas M — Google review
An amazing walk and look out at the top. The start of the trail is a little difficult to find because the access road from the top of Kara Cresent to the trail head (50 metres) has been claimed by the local residents. This is a public road, do not let the local residents tell you otherwise. Enjoy.
Gary W — Google review
There is a nice view at the top of the stairs. It is the starting point for a few several-kilometer-long walking trails. The sign at the bottom of the stairs gives you details of each one. It is a bit awkward to find the stairs, as it is down what looks like a private driveway that has a 'no parking' and a 'no camping' sign at its entrance.
Tiffany W — Google review
Bit overgrown, not looked after. Just a trail, no nice views to look at.

Poor parking opportunities caused us to abandon the walk

Park
Conway National Park, located in Queensland, offers a diverse natural experience with its coastal beaches and lush rainforest habitat. The park features numerous bushwalks, including the renowned 28 km Great Whitsunday Walk that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the unique flora and fauna of the area. Additionally, there are shorter walking trails available for those seeking a less challenging hike.
My first time been here and I had such a wonderful, fun time and experience to explore the Conway National Park and first time ever driving Segway that is not allowed 🚫 in NSW. The pathway is almost flat surface and about 9kms back and forth, very nice track! I love rainforest, one of my favourite. Ok, so I booked a tour and got pickup from the hotel. Zack has been running Segway this business for almost 9 years, very friendly, lovely and you will experience his wife baking muffin, cookies in the snack box provided to everyone and stop at creek to have it. Great time, loving it!

Nice to see how the back packers treat our natural beauty. They party and leave there rubbish for us. Why does the national parks have cameras there. They don't stop them from trashing the place
J D — Google review
Enjoy a fun short walk in the Conway National Park today. Wompoo Walk is a 7km, grade 3 hike located in Conway National Park, Queensland. The hike should take around 3 hours to complete. 'Wom-poo' is the sound made by the beautifully coloured Wompoo fruit-dove, so listen and see if you can spot one as you walk through this tropical rainforest.
