Decent food, decent price, decent service. Solid breakfast option that can’t go wrong, but you probably won’t save it has the highlight of your trip. We had the chicken and waffles, and eggs on toast. Both were a good size, well cooked and had distinct flavours that worked well. The coffee was middle of the road. There is nothing I disliked about the meals, they just didn’t have the “wow” factor of some other places. It is mostly unavoidable but the location with a busy road can be a challenge if people with loud vehicles are around. Nothing can be done to fix that, maybe just sit inside if it bothers you.

Randomly picked this restaurant after a stroll in Airlie Beach and it did not disappoint. We came pretty late (like 10 minutes before they closed the lunch menu) but the staff were super friendly and polite, letting us know they were about to switch menus. We ordered quickly and got the fish and chips and burgers. The fish and chips were amazing! I’m not even a big fish person but this was golden brown perfection, crispy outside, flaky and melt-in-your-mouth inside. Not fishy nor greasy at all. It came with a fresh green goddess arugula salad and hot, crispy chips straight from the fryer. Perfect lunch. The location is great too, right near the beach and the ferris wheel. Fast, friendly service and good vibes. Definitely recommend!

The food was amazing 👏 was a little slow in getting the meal but worth the wait. Cocktails were so good , coffee is great as well

Nice wood fire pizza with great dough and unusual toppings - we had the vegetarian and the harissa lamb, with Kirkpatrick oysters. Tasty. Service a little slow but it was a Saturday evening. Enjoyable date night in a great spot in Airlie beach

Everything was good but prices were not. Service was friendly and time was about right for the amount of people. $8 for a very small bottle juice however is ridiculous. Was expecting fresh juice but was okay with bottled until I saw the price.

The location is excellent, offering an inviting atmosphere. The beverage selection was solid — the vegan chai, in particular, was flavourful. Service operates on a table-service model, which led to a noticeable delay before our order was taken. The food also took a while to arrive. We tried the vege breakfast taco, which was enjoyable in terms of taste. However, given the price point, the portion size felt somewhat underwhelming.

We had the pleasure of hosting a morning tea at this venue and we were so happy with the food, the service and the relaxed vibe. From initial enquiry to on the day, the team were exceptional in ensuring everything went smoothly and was of a high standard. Great coffee and some of the best chocolate brownies I've ever had. We had many compliments from our guests on the food. Cannot wait visit again :)

Enjoyed the meal, glad to have a few items a bit different to the normal breakfast menu. Keen to come back and try a couple other items. As nice as it was, the eggs runny in the tacos. I like runny eggs bit maybe bit firmer in this dish would suit better. We fortunate enough to have a great musician too as part of the Airlie Beach Festival of music!

Nice venue with good coffee. Staff were friendly but the service was very slow, we had to wait just over 30 mins for breakfast (for 2 people). I ordered avo on toast, the food was cold, the toast wasn’t toasted, the poached egg was hard (very disappointing when you order and expect a propper poached egg). I would go again for take away coffee only, but definitely not for food.

Fab cafe for breakfast and brunch! We were only in Airlie Beach for a week but we visited the Sidewalk Cafe three times. The staff were always super friendly, service was quick and we loved the vibe. One of the days we brought our laptops to work on and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Food and coffees were all delicious, especially the warm scones with butter and jam. The location is great for people watching too!

Quick and easy brekky, with a nice quiet view of main strip, not too far from the water. Shakshuka was delicious. The chilli scrambled eggs could use more spice but still great nonetheless.

Lovely spot, friendly and attentive service, gluten free food options with good staff awareness of food allergies. Oh and wonderful coffee! Definitely recommend.

One of a few places around that opens for early breakfast and that is great. It is my second time here and they make great smashed avo toast as well as matcha. Recommended

Disappointing Experience Despite Good Food Yesterday, my friend and I planned to have breakfast at this café because out of all the places we’ve tried, this one was among our favorites. The food has always been really good. However, during our visit, we were served water with two glasses — one of which had visible lip marks. We politely told the lady who served us and she immediately apologized, saying she would get a new one. We understood — mistakes happen sometimes. But after waiting for about 15 minutes and still not receiving a replacement, we kindly called another staff member named “SIMON” and asked, “Sorry, but can we get a new glass?” Instead of helping, he shouted, “NOT ME, I’M CARRYING TOO MANY PLATES!” — loud enough that other customers turned to look. It was extremely rude and disappointing. I understand that they were busy, but that’s not an excuse to respond to customers that way. The other lady server apologized on his behalf, even though she wasn’t the one at fault. Later, when Simon was clearing other tables, he continued acting irritated — roughly placing plates and glasses like he was angry. It’s really upsetting because we genuinely liked this café, but that kind of attitude from staff completely ruins the experience. I hope management addresses this behavior because customers deserve better.

We came across this amazing place for breakfast, Sidewalk cafe Airlie. We ordered chilli scrambled eggs on sourdough and scrambled egg, bacon & feta croissant.. it was amazing. Beautiful esplanade views, also fresh and tasty breakfast options were available, and the staff were very friendly & attentive. Also great coffee. Definitely a place to have great food. Thank you!

This morning my partner and I had breakfast here for the first time. We ordered a breakfast burger and their daily special “fox in socks” (scrambled eggs with chili on sourdough) with two lattes. The atmosphere is just beautiful and you can see the food is freshly prepared using real whole food ingredients. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs very much - unlike many other cafes it was not a mixture but just using real eggs only! Unfortunately even though I love spices my meal was way too spicy that it overpowered everything else and you couldn’t taste anything else. The waitress serving us the coffee was a bit rude towards us. The coffee was served with a bite of brownie which was divine! So so good and I would love to try their banana bread next time.

They advertise the best ever banana bread – and they’re absolutely right! Such a lovely little café with delicious bowls, great coffee, and a really cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the banana bread as mentioned – definitely a 10/10!

The owners are the sweetest souls and their drinks and food are so fresh, healthy and hearty! The Tropical Smoothie and Matcha are sooo delicious!! The vibe is so nice and so many little treats to buy for self care✨

been here every morning for the last few days, perfect iced dirty chai's ! and açai bowls are honestly top tier. Outside area is cute & chill and the staff are lovely.

This place was a very unique local spot. They have a store with goods made from locals and all of their foods are Australian sourced. The staff was very nice, and even rushed our order due to a boat appointment we had. I would recommend visiting.

We can’t recommend the açai bowls enough, lots of choice with great portion sizes and lots of local ingredients used for a fair price! The most overpriced and underwhelming cafe I have been to. Paid $24 for a ham and cheese croissant & an apple juice - with an additional 15% surcharge because it was a Saturday?? Croissant was incredibly stale, cold and tasted awful - and we had to collect it ourselves from the counter after paying the service charge. There was also no water brought to our table and no table service for orders. There were 3 of us and the 3rd member received their food 20 minutes after us after notifying the waitresses, again having to go to the counter (which unfortunately was another ham and cheese croissant). Money down the drain - you can get the same views in other cafes that will actually have food to match and reasonable prices. Would not recommend.

I went a two months ago and I was delighted, but today I came back to order the same and it really disappointed me… Same price but the food content was almost half of it… In less than two months the quality decreased to a point that is nit worth it anymore. Really nice Açai and Smoothie bowls in Airlie Beach. In a great spot right by the water too. Unfortunately when we went their coffee machine was not working however there was no problem with us getting a take away one from next door to have with our Açai bowls.

Not sure about the food. Only had a coffee. But it was great. And a lovely shady place to sit in the heat with a peaceful outlook.

I went for breakfast with a friend at 10am Saturday morning. We each ordered an iced coffee and the “smashed avo and egg”. Services was incredibly slow (place was not busy) and was not good food. The coffee was burnt and the food was cold and just didn’t taste good. The only good thing about this place is the view of the boats. Would not recommend, food and drinks is shit and extremely over priced.

Best avocado toast I've ever had, I got the one with pesto and feta and sundried tomatoes and it was just what I needed. The staff were really nice and there an acute shop there too. The strawberry matcha wasn't my fave as it was a bit watery but probs just ordered wrong, I did chose oat milk rather than the suggested full cream milk to perhaps that's why

My wife and I decided to have breakfast here after all the good reviews. So glad we did. The staff, food, location and vibe was the perfect start to the day. We ordered the breakfast for two and it did not disappoint. The homemade baked beans, smashed avo, tomato relish and freshly baked bread rolls were delicious! Highly recommend making an effort to visit this place!

My husband and I went here for brunch and 2 days later for high tea. The food was plenty. The high tea was worth coming back for. Friendly service, Cappuccino was one of the best with real chocolate bits sprinkled on top. If you up at this way for a holiday do yourself a favour and call in for a meal or high tea.

This establishment is located upstairs (there is a lift available) and has lots of great drinks, snacks and meals. The biew is splendid - out over the marina and a park. The service was quick and drink delicious. It is well worth a visit for mouth-watering temptations.

We had the most DELICIOUS brunch and coffee. Fantastic views of Shingley Beach. And the bakery selection was absolutely divine. Highly recommend.

The pancakes and cheesecake were delicious, the seaside view from the restaurant was absolutely amazing, and most importantly, what impressed me the most was the Japanese waiter — so friendly and incredibly cute!

The has to be the best cafe in the whole Area! The food is incredible. We came for breakfast and it was so good we came back for lunch! This is such a hidden gem with great views and sea breezes. Affordable and so yummy! The service is great. I just love this place. Will definitely be back next holiday. Thank you.

Ordered the Pancake Supreme and a coffee. Coffee was OK, but there are other better coffee places around the area. The Pancake Supreme was meant to contain banana, but there was no banana and smothered in a chocolate that was not nutella, the berry compote was nice. The food could have been better for the price. The service was great- friendly and fast. The place was very clean, even throughout the busy periods, and the atmosphere was great.

I bit into my burger and was greeted with a mouthful of water 😂. Appears as though the patty was cooked from frozen and had not been thawed. Thankfully it did taste good, but I dont think I've ever had so much water come out of a burger patty in my life. Hopefully just a one off and no one else experiences this

Had a great experience ordering a somewhat complicated vegan coffee order, Gemma/Jemma was so helpful and went out of her way to make me the (custom) drink I wanted and I really appreciated that. Great service and vegan menu available:)

A nice, relaxed, friendly breakfast/brunch/lunch place with good food and great coffee (best oat milk coffee we found). Excellent for people watching, as well🙂 Covered all diets, as far as I could see, without any stress. Vegan, gluten free, vego, meat lovers.

coffee was amazingly fast bit watered down but the food was sitting after it had been cooking and not sure what the waiters were doing but there was 4 plates sitting for about 10 minutes ready to go wasn’t any feta on the avo toast just dip on the side very cheaply made found a hair in the juice eggs were under cooked and found egg shell bacon was under cooked they gave us $12 off 2 coffees juice avo toast and a big breaky was supposed to be $70

First day in Airlie beach, we stopped for dinner, after hearing the live music and found out about the special Saturday fish and chips for $15, very welcoming staff, nice atmosphere and very good fish and chips. Great first night of our holidays 😊

Came with some friends to see the sunset in the marine. It is beautifully located. blanca of the staff was incredibly nice and caring and there was live music a girl called Meg whose voice was amazing and totally memorable. Amazing memory ❤️

A friendly little kiosk style Cafe that does a great coffee and breakfast. Their Saturday night $15 Fish and Chip with salad Special complete with awesome live music was a great find. There’s even alcohol available when served with your meal. A great little find - we will definitely come again.

The only thing going for this place is location. Everything else is downright bad. I'm a local + regular who's lived here all my life and recently had the worst dining experience I’ve had in Airlie beach. I ordered the $15 special fish and chips and I was so disappointed. The calamari was dry and chewy, the fish and the chips were cold and the waitress was NOT friendly. I don't care if you're having a bad day the least you can do is smile as it's your job. I work in customer service as well and she made me feel like I shouldn't be there. The management of this place is ridiculous and these girls should not have a job there if they don't want to work properly. I can only say the girl who served me at the till gave me a smile but everyone else? Quit ur job if u can't do it correctly. As if you're getting paid to be rude to customers who ARE LOCALS and who are regulars. The management of this place needs to change. I will not be going back unless I hear there are new owners.

Used to be a great place a few years ago, but seems 3 French girls took it over and overnight became a disaster area. Dropped in there for a snack yesterday, the bacon and egg toastie looked like it was yesterday's leftovers reheated, looked and tasted godawful. Smoothie was mostly ice, no taste. Has not improved over the years . . .

Disgusting experience. We came for sunset at this beautiful restaurant and bar which is part of the hotel. We asked if it was possible to pay in cash for our drinks, they said yes. They prepared our drinks and I gave a 100$ note. It appeared that they did not have enough change. They asked me to by card, I said I did not have, only cash. They asked me unembarrassed to order another drinks so they had enough change to give. Very funny and unprofessionally rude staff.

Where do I begin? Holy moly! The foods, the cocktails, the sunset view and the impeccable service was just mind-blowing. Definitely worth the price we paid for. The showstopper was 100% the Seafood Platter. Loved the fresh oysters. Normally it does not taste good in alot of places but I loved the ones they served here. Kudos to the team. Thank you and we will be back 🥰

My wife and I had eaten here at lunch, with a small seafood platter that was simply to die for. Such great value beside the pools and very well done. It was fantastic and just right at the top of the experience that we had with the resort. Coming for dinner we had high expectations and had a couple of hiccups. We spoke to the manager and agreed to try again and I have to say they nailed it better than all the other experiences. The service was perfect, they didn’t hover enough to be intrusive yet were very attentive and just seemed to magically appear when you thought you would need something. One might suggest they were on their toes with us but looking around the venue it was clear the whole place was a the top of its game. Everyone seemed happy, well timed and well taken care of. We ordered the steaks which was among the best, and these I’ve had in quite a few places. It was a cooked to perfection and such a unique flavour that is memorable. We had some great wine from a brilliant selection and even the salad was amazing. The view needs its own special mention. Arriving just before sunset the views alone at worth coming just to have a snack and a few drinks. The ambience is warm and welcoming and you could easily spend the night just around the spectacular pool and small beach area admiring the views. It made the experience and now we can wait to come back before the end of the year already. Thank you to all it was a great night and we celebrated my wife’s birthday in memorable style.

I Recently celebrated my 50th in Airlie and wanted a special cake for the celebrations. I contacted Linda via their enquiries page and I found her to be amazingly helpful and accommodating with my requests. Being Gluten Free and not being able to visit the store before hand or sample the cakes it was a bit of a risk but I had nothing to worry about. The cake was delivered to the venue, decorated exactly how I hoped and it was absolutely delicious.

Thumbs up! Highly recommended. Worth driving to have breakfast from Mackay. Nothing much on the Menu but Pastries and Coffee is so so good! Perfect ambience with music to have coffee. Keep it up!

Our wedding cake was absolutely perfect! It looked stunning and tasted even better – all of our guests commented on how delicious it was. The design was exactly what we had envisioned and fitted our wedding theme beautifully. Professional, reliable, and so talented – we couldn’t be happier. I purchased my 30th birthday cake from Linda and cannot recommend her more! I was extremely indecisive and Linda was willing to assist in my changes and highly communicative through emails. The cake itself was so soft and delicious!!

Our experience was mixed. More than 1 hr wait for food during Christmas Day is probably expected. The food in general were both good but at the one hour wait mark, we were told that one of the dishes was not available and we had to wait longer to reorder. If you are in a rush, this is probably not the place for you. My eggs Benedict was good and my partner’s steak sandwich was also good. But she had to wait another 30 mins (1.5 hrs in total) for hers to arrive. It is Christmas so they must be short staffed and this is understandable.

Considering that this was a Café with lots of foot traffic, I was surprised how vacant it was. The waitstaff was not attentive and several customers turned away waiting despite the vacancy. I hope they can improve in the future. As for the food & drinks, the drinks were wonderful, but I was dissatisfied with my steak sandwich. It was tough and made with cheap cuts. The rest of my family was satiated, but agreed the food was average.

After a long walk on a main street nothing beats the coffee here @Village Cafe! Great location right before Woolworths. I was mesmerized with the service! I just had a cappuccino and it was served few moments after sitting! It was served with a smile. It such a relief! This is Exactly what I’m after for. A local experience that you can only get here. I didn’t have the chance to get their names but I do sure received warm smiles and hospitality! Kudos to the team! I do hope to visit Airlie Beach again. See us again!

Mixed experience, ordered at the counter and had to be collect our own coffee with a buzzer but food was brought to table. We had pancakes which were nice, but after paying $3 each for strawberries on top, and then only putting 1 strawberry on each plate was very disappointing. Should have gone to the shop for a punnet. Coffee was nice, could have been larger.

It’s a lovely cafe tucked just off the main road. The food was good value for money, fresh and came out really fast. Highly recommend this cafe and the atmosphere was so tropical and peaceful.

Definitely one of the better cafes here in Airlie! With a great chefs selection menu, large serving sizes, large coffee and good coffee! Plus you can’t go wrong when the wait staff are Irish, they’re all just so lovely! Note - it can get pretty busy here so if you’re coming with a group of say 6 people without a reservation there might be a small wait for a table but I’m sure it won’t be too long, plus you can take in the view!

Beautiful waterfront spot with excellent service and even better food. The location is absolutely stunning, right by the water, perfect for a relaxing start to the day. Service was prompt and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The food was packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. Easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. 10/10 – highly recommended!

This had been recommended to us so we hiked the 4kms around the foreshore from Airlie Beach - picturesque walk. Very warm welcome and quick service. Quirky items on food and drink menu. The Green Frog dish and the Chunky Monkey smoothie were a hit!

Outstanding coffee! On our way up north from the sunny coast and we are yet to have a more delicious coffee than this one! Gorgeous location. Wish we could have stayed longer and sampled one of the amazing looking brekkies coming out of the kitchen!

Lovely restaurant along the marina where you can soak in the gorgeous views as you sit back and enjoy your food and drinks. We ordered the fish tacos and the pumpkin salad, and both were delightful and bright in flavour and colour. It was the perfect feed and relaxed change of pace after an intense morning of jet skiing. The service was nice too, and Zorro the dog was the highlight — a gentle giant minding the cafe floor. There is a plushie of him on the counter and a picture on the wall, it’s all too cute to miss!

Breakfast with a view. I had a caramel latte and an eggs benny. No faults, absolutely delicious. Staff were cheerful and happy to chat. Only here on holiday but would definitely be a regular here! Loved it

We missed the morning breakfast service but the staff were very accomodating to still make us the eggs Benedict. Presentation and taste was amazing, our new favourite brekki spot! And can’t forget the cutest staff member Zorro! Thank you!

I had the Smoked Salmon and it was absolutely delicious. Came back the next morning to get it again as I couldn’t stop thinking about it! My husband got The Stack and he enjoyed that. Service was great. Beautiful location, great views of the Marina. We will Definitely be back

Le Shack is definitely the best little coffee shop in Airlie Beach and the only one we could find with free WiFi. Vibes are great, the staff is kind and helpful, coffee is good and so is the food (the Italian sandwich was actually delicious). I was really pleasantly surprised that they sell so many Argentinian products 😍 mates, yerba (many different brands), bombillas, alfajores Havanna, Jorgito, dulce de leche and empanadas (although there weren't any when I visited), my argentinian heart was so happy.

Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of Airlie beach. Great atmosphere, brilliant music and nice breakfast options. Also a little Mate and bookshop included. Only downsides are that all food & drink are served in disposable cups & plates + the cafe is not super clean (ants etc).

I loved it! I went to many cafes in Airlie beach, but this one is by far the best. The coffee is very good. The food is very tasty. I love that they have Argentine products like Yerba mate and dulce de leche. Highly recommended.

I just had a 9$ iced coffee and I think the girl literally forgot to make the coffee and just gave me dirty water.....the colour was the same when I started drinking. I am a bit shy to ask for a refund now but it is so frustrating to have paid for something like that. Possibly the worst iced coffee I have ever had in my life

I love this place 💕 service is above and beyond, the sandwiches are delicious, the cakes are out of this world and the coffee is fab too ✨😁 Maddison and Charlotte made me feel so at home from my first couple of days in Airlie, remembering my name and order, they took all the stress out of moving to a new town 💕 so much more than a little coffee shop, seriously a hub for Airlie, such a chilled inviting vibe, and cozy seats up the back with free WiFi perfect for meeting new friends 😁 Thankyou guys!

Planes planes planes If you're passionate about aviation and enjoy watching planes and helicopters take off, this location offers a unique experience, situated right next to the runway. While immersed in the thrilling atmosphere, you can also indulge in the exceptional food and beverages. I had the breakfast bruschetta, priced at $19, with an additional $6 for smoked salmon. Having visited for the first time, I am eager to return and sample more of what this place has to offer.

Hangar cafe What a hidden gem this place is - this cafe is located at Whitsundays airport - a 10 min ride out of Airlie. We went with locals who live in Airlie Beach & come out frequently to the cafe which is airside so if you are a plane enthusiast this is a great place to sit & watch planes come & go. We ordered 2 steak sandwiches & a plate of chips, the food was fresh & cooked to perfection. We enjoyed a few cold beers & watched the planes. Bronwyn was our server & she was very friendly & checked in a couple of times to make sure we were okay. They are doing extensions which will provide additional outdoor seating. Current seating about 30 people so will be good when extensions are completed. Highly recommend this cafe /bar for fresh food cooked to perfection & be entertained by the planes heading out to the reef - thank you!

I was really excited to visit this little café after it was recommended to us by the staff at the park next door. The atmosphere is great, and it’s such an amazing experience to feel so close to the planes. My boys and I were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the service let the experience down. While the young girl who served us was lovely, another staff member was quite rude and made us feel like a burden for simply ordering breakfast and coffee. With renovations going on there wasn’t much seating available, which wasn’t a problem for us, but when we politely asked if we could sit in the front area we were met with eye rolls and huffs. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this was disappointing as I had been so looking forward to enjoying the planes with my boys. The setting is fantastic, but sadly the attitude of one staff member left a bad taste.

A very plesant place to sit and enjoy good food and coffee. Can be a little noisy but enjoyable to sit and watch aircraft movements from the side of the airstrip. Also very convenient to the Big 4 caravan park next door.

This is a fantastic place to hang out for a drink or a bite to eat. Watch the planes and helicopters come and go. The kids will love it. If staying in Airlie Beach add this place to the itinerary.

One of the best spots I've been to for breakfast! The view is beautiful, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee were fantastic. There was also a good selection of YETI products to purchase, and the lady who helped us was incredibly kind. After we picked out a bottle, she even took the time to wash it out for us and fill it up with ice cold water, which was such a thoughtful thing to do. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this place.

Ordered 2 coffees they were both watery and piping hot. Ordered 3 ham and cheese crossiants which they agreed to cook fresh. The egg and bacon burger roll was stale and they agreed to toast. Not a good experience.

Been for breakfast a few times when working in Airlie as they open early, Eggs benny are great and good value, good coffee and friendly staff.

Nicest burger place in Airlie, the store in this place has changed hands and name many times but the food remains consistently good. There is a menu option I call the Posties burger even though the store is no longer called posties, that seems to always survive with little alteration since its inception, that is very good.

Went to posties for Fried Chicken Monday and it was delicious . The chicken was perfectly cooked with a tasty crunchy batter on the outside and moist in the middle. In my opinion this chicken beats KFC hands down . The chips where perfect as always . We normal go for the awesome burgers but have now changed our takeaway night to Monday’s as this takeaway feed was truely 5 stars . Well done!

Called in at Westy's Cafe on the way back from Shute Harbour. Ordered the Works burger. It was so big I needed a knife and fork to eat it. Could not hold it all in my hands 😁 Wife had the prawns and chips, great feed. Very friendly staff, and so welcoming too. Highly recommended. Gus and Kerrie - Brisbane. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Went there today for lunch with my husband. He had the fish and chips and I had the calamari and chips. Wow. So fresh. Do yourself a favour when u are at Airlie Beach and grab yourself dome fish and chips. You will not be disappointed. Away from the hustle and bustle at Airlie Beach main road.

Better Body Café is an absolute vibe! Bex and Lucy are the heart of the place. Always smiling, laughing, and bringing the fun. Their energy is infectious and they make every visit feel like a little pick-me-up. The food, coffee, and smoothies are top-notch but it’s the team that keeps you coming back for more. Love this crew!

The sandwiches here are so fresh and they use fresh ingredients. The roast beef sandwich was really good. The scone with jam and cream also very enjoyable, they use quality jam (possibly homemade from the taste) and cream which makes it taste so much better. And the service is 10/10! The smoothies look devine!

Been visiting Betterbody for an early coffee each morning, while holidaying at the nearby Big4 caravan park The staff are friendly and the coffee is consistently very good Plenty of fresh / protein / gym snacks, easy off-street parking and clean amenities Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The girls here have made my mornings that little bit better with the great chat they present me with my coffee. Can say this is my favourite spot for the last 7 months and forever will be the place I go to get my choc peanut butter smoothie in Airlie.

The staff are beautiful, always friendly and happy. The food is tasty and healthy and the coffee is the best in town.

Have to fight the urge to go here every single day! Staff are bloody beautiful, food, drinks and coffee are unmatched.

Food is absolutely amazing, fresh and authentic. Not a lot of choices as it is the only in-house restaurant on the Mirage Whitsundays property and the $10 service charge for delivery to the room is really ridiculous but overall the food is absolutely of premium quality. It is recommended to dine at the restaurant bar but the weather was quite bad so it was easier to order to the room. If it wasn’t for the $10 delivery charge for a very short delivery which would only take them 2 mins to deliver, I would give full stars.

Food was amazing. Fresh, tasty and the portions were perfect. The only negatives were all of our food coming out at once (we weren’t asked) and the glassware being plastic. I can understand why this makes sense for a resort and being near a pool but at these prices and for dinner surely the beer and wines can be in glassware. It was a great night and we’ll happily be back.

Whisper catered for our wedding at the Whitsunday Marine Club on 7th June 2025. They were wonderfully accommodating for my vision - "I don't want any guests walking away hungry". A sensational grazing table, a seafood station and then takeaway style food from their food truck. Everything was absolutely on point. The entire spread was enjoyed by our guests who walked away with full bellies. If you are looking for someone to cater for your wedding and want to try something other than a formal sit down dinner or canapes (they do this too though!) then I HIGHLY recommend the team from Whisper Restaurant and Gin Bar. p.s I only got one photo myself but will share more when the professional photos come through

Such a great experience! We held a small dinner at Whisper Gin for our wedding. Leading up to the night, communication with Amy (manager) was seamless. She was professional, accommodating and attentive. The night of the wedding the staff were kind, and the service was exceptional. The space was set up beautifully and there was plenty of room as well as a beautiful view. Our guests are still speaking about the food. Delicious! Thank you, Whisper Gin! Looking forward to coming back for a meal.

I'm not one to normally write a review but this place was really bad. Some of the most tasteless food I've had, (ordered Salmonoir, Beef Kebab, some dips and another small plate that's probably worth staying away from too) which I wouldn't have any trouble making myself at home. And certainly the most out of touch to be serving such poor food at the price point it's at. We left so disappointed as it was girl friends birthday and $180 poorer. Very amateur. The wait staff were lovely which was the only positive. A nice place for a drink, but wouldn't even send my worst enemy here for dinner.

We are locals who went there a few years ago when it was under previous management and can say now that the new regime have certainly improved things...It wasn't bad previously but now its much better again...The service staff have always been friendly ,attentive and professional to be fair but where it has kicked up a gear is in the quality of the food . Special shout out to Hoissin ( not sure of the spelling) but by crikey he is a skilled Chef... The menu has some Aussie favourites but is predominantly Asian Fusion with a large variety of dishes to suit any taste. Hoissin never fails to deliver...he obviously uses top quality / fresh ingredients and takes great care and pride in his Menu and the dishes he creates which are always beautifully prepared ,presented and delicious. We've never had anything other than a fantastic meal there yet and its down to Hoissins skill and knowledge. If you want a really nice Asian meal you come here....Hoissin wont let you down.
