The Bush Heritage Paperbark Forest Boardwalk is a hidden gem located in the Reedy Creek Reserve, just a short distance from the town's Visitor Information Centre. This picturesque boardwalk takes visitors through a dense paperbark forest, offering Instagram-worthy photo opportunities and a chance to reconnect with nature. The trail is suitable for families with young children and features concrete stepping stones across damp areas.
Lovely board walk with stepping stone type feature. Picnic area at the start of the walk which the trail loops back too. The walk makes for lovely photos. Not a trail walk for wheelchair bound No toilet facilities available however the trail is not far from the town. Worth dropping in for a look. Please like the review if you've read it, it helps business's grow.

A great eco developed walk through this magnificent melaluca and palm forest. All up on boardwalk or stepping stones as to not disturb any further the fragile system which is wetland undisturbed dominated by 10 meters plus grand old paper barks. Thoroughly enjoyed this small 45 minute walk
Scott L — Google review
400m of a flat walk along boardwalks, sandy trails, and fun round cement steps. The paperbark trees are mature and confident in their place. Lots of ferns cover the forest floor and hug the base of trees. The light shifts constantly here with the wind allowing rays of sun to cast through to the lower forest below, an ever changing natural lightshow. Highly enjoyable easy walk.
Jennifer H — Google review
So enjoyed this little gem! Was a great little family experience. It has a variety of walking ground to not disturb natural growth. Like partial two slate wide board walks and stepping stones through at times water. So it would be wise to be with young ones that are confident walkers the same with elderly. My only negative is, I wish it was longer, I was enjoying it so much! The town itself has many things to offer like cafes and other many natural beauties. A must visit!
Mel L — Google review
Absolutely wonderful place to visit! Grade 3 walking track. 10 minute loop including time to stop and soak up your surroundings while grabbing a few photos.
Sarah B — Google review
Wow, randomly stumbled across this little gem. Just a very short walk around the loup and track. My partner helped a lady across as she was a bit unstable on her feet. It's an incredible little hidden beauty. Highly recommend. Follow us @aus_roadtrippin for other reviews and places we've been
Carla — Google review
Good short little walk, very nice Paperbark and Maidenhair fern forest. The stepping stones and boardwalk are great to keep your feet dry and to lessen the impact to the delicate environment. Well worth a visit.
Tony S — Google review
Beautiful walk, albeit very short. It took about 10 minutes. You can even do the loop twice. I loved the paperbark trees and the informative signs about the plants.

History Museums
Located just behind the Agnes Water Museum, the Discovery Trail is a fun track that leads to a lookout over Agnes Water Main Beach Point. The museum itself offers a captivating glimpse into the area's rich history and artifacts, meticulously curated to showcase its unique cultural and historical evolution. Visitors can explore exhibits on Captain Cook's landing and other local history for a small entrance fee.
Ian the curator was so friendly and knowledgeable. He made our visit more than worthwhile!!! The local samosas he recommended were delicious!!!
Martin P — Google review
This really has a small town museum feel about it highlighting the history of the town and surrounding areas especially the importance of Captain Cook to the area. It isn’t very large and the staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. There is even a quirky 100 year old orange in their collection. There isn’t a lot to see in Agnes Water so add this to your list if visiting.
Casandra T — Google review
What a great museum. $5 entry fee well worth it. Lots of history on Captain Cook & many artefacts to see & read. Wonderful tribute to the six young men who lost their lives in the sinking of the FV Dianne trawler off 1770 in 2017. Highly recommend.
Sue C — Google review
Had a lovely experience, exploring the Agnes Water museum. The staff are so lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend checking it out.
Jane H — Google review
Small but pleasant museum, which was free to enter and contained lots of information on the local history. Staff were very friendly, and it was a nice way to spend 30 minutes.
Kerbray — Google review
Interesting memorabilia and friendly staff. Great way to spend an hour or so.

Don’t miss this fabulous museum if your in town! There’s so much to see and read about the history and Capt Cooks landing here! There is a $5 entry fee for adults only and it’s a wonderful contribution to keep the history alive! Volunteer there today was full of info and lovely to chat too, Thankyou!!

Nature & Parks
Agnes Water Main Beach, located in the twin towns of Agnes Water and 1770, offers kilometers of pristine coastline, making it a perfect destination for beach lovers. This area is known for its historical significance as Captain James Cook's first landing point in Queensland in 1770. The beach itself stretches around 5km and is popular among families, backpackers, and surfers.
A nice clean surf beach ⛱️ I love the bench seat! Thank you, I can sit and watch for whales. It's well patrolled.
Kath M — Google review
Beach is beautiful, but the area around Agnes has been built up with residential housing & so it's hard to access the beach unless you go to the caravan park where there is limited parking.
Dave E — Google review
The last surf beach before the reef..and what a magnificent pristine stretch of coastline. Dazzling clear azure water. Walk for miles on the soft sand. Sections are dog friendly too (just pick up after both your dog and yourself).
Camilla G — Google review
Such a beautiful beach. Not too crowded in the winter. Just the way I like it.
Paul K — Google review
This is definitely a beach for the longboards with a right hand point break that is great for beginners and intermediate surfers. The signs say that stingers may be around from Nov to April but the lifeguards and locals said not to worry about them. It would be a good idea to take some vinegar with you just in case. There are a few parks in the main Carpark but you may need to park a bit further away on a busy day. We visited on a day when the creek broke through one of the sand dunes and sent a wall of water gushing into the ocean. Quite a fascinating thing to see.
Ron I — Google review
Beautiful! Great views, flagged area. If you're not staying right on the beach and need to drive there, you may need to get in early to park as the parking is not great
Tegan G — Google review
Great beach. National parks walks good food take away dine in great atmosphere at the pub and foog is excellent

Beach pavillion
Springs Beach, located along the Red Rock Walking Trail in Agnes Water, is a stunning and tranquil stretch of bay that offers a paradisiacal experience. Accessible via a rough dirt road opposite the paperbark forest, this beach is best reached with a 4-wheel drive or high wheel base vehicle. The area boasts native wildlife like kangaroos and kookaburras, adding to its natural charm.
It's a rough dirt road opposite the paperbark forest that leads to the carpark for the Springs Beach walking track. It's a good ten minutes downhill to the beach with most of it being on a timber board walk. The walk back up from the beach is a real workout and strenuous on a hot day. Well worth the walk though.
Max — Google review
This beach is a fairly quiet place. Clean and picturesque. Great surfing beach from around the headland. This is also where you start the Red Rock Trail Hike along the coast line.
Shelley H — Google review
Beautiful beach where turtles are nesting. There were nobody there besides two surfers. It's very peaceful place accessable by the Paper Bark boardwalk.
Pauline F — Google review
entrance is just opposite the paperbark forest walk and really need a 4-wheel drive to navigate the track to the parking area unless your vehicle has a high wheel base. You might spot native wildlife such as 'roos and kookaburras. There's a boardwalk pathway taking you down to the beach and it's well worth the walk - the beach is pristine and stunning and has shaded areas. Take what you need with you though - water, snacks etc but make sure to bring everything back with you.
Lynda H — Google review
Great Walk. Track to the beach is ok going down, coming up is a little strenuous. Walk to Red Rock is a 3 out of 5. Medium. Lots of kangaroos and Goannas. Site are very Aussie Coastal.
Leo M — Google review
Put on your walking shoes, the board walk to the beach - just take a little longer if your not as sure footed as you once were. But so worth it. It's beautiful and wild, and probably have it to your self. Go early if you want to go on the longer walks
Kerrie S — Google review
Beautiful beach! Not too many people around. Excellent beach if you don't like crowded beaches :)
Romina M — Google review
Worth the visit as it's a bit of a random spot. Plenty of car spots at the main car park though not as easily accessible for non AWD/SUV/4WD

Campground

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Horizons Kangaroo Sanctuary & Camp Ground is a must-visit for animal lovers and families looking for a fun experience. The owner's dedication to wildlife conservation is evident, and visitors can volunteer for at least 2 nights. The facilities are well-maintained, with clean amenities and cooking utensils provided. The small campground offers a peaceful atmosphere, and guests can enjoy feeding the kangaroos in the morning.
Get up close and personal with kangaroos! We booked in at Horizon’s last minute and are so glad we did. We called the number on Google, and they said come by whenever and ring once at the gate. Garry greeted us and showed us a couple of options to park our car. The amenities were awesome: clean toilets and hot showers. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but it looked good. At a quarter past 7 in the morning Garry feeds the roos. For about an hour, he prepares food for the animals and shares stories and educates you about the local wildlife. The kangaroos are friendly and you can pet a few if you'd like. We even saw a couple peacocks and wallabies on the property. One of the better sites we’ve had on our road trip!
Liam S — Google review
Outstanding!! The place is super lovely, clean bathrooms and nice hot showers. The kitchen is amazing and the outdoor area is really cozy, decorated with nice works of art and a hammock. Garry told us a lot about the history of Australia and the Kangaroos. He really loves the animals a lot and takes care of them. We were able to feed the kangaroos and even pet them. It was a great experience and I can only recommend it. :)
Claudia T — Google review
We didn‘t stay at the campground but came for the feeding. The owner is lovely and can tell you a lot about the kangaroos🦘 with 10$ pp you support him to keep the feeding going on. The kangaroos roam around completely free here and the campground also seemed very lovely with an amazing garden! We got to see the kangaroos in the garden before the feeding. Highly recommend coming here❤️
Anne R — Google review
Outstanding!! Such a lovely and peaceful place. Super clean bathrooms and hot showers. The kitchen is well-equipped and the outdoor area is cozy, with beautiful art. Garry is amazing – so passionate about the kangaroos and full of knowledge about Australia’s history. We got to feed and pet the kangaroos, which was a truly special experience. Highly recommend this unique and heartwarming stay!
Anjana I — Google review
Amazing experience. Garry and his wife devote their lives to the care of orphaned and injured kangaroos which is incredibly inspiring. As they grow up/get better, the kangaroos come and go as they please knowing they always have a home at the sanctuary. Because of this interaction, they are not afraid of humans although of course they remain wild animals and are in no way trained for human entertainment, harmed or imprisoned for such purposes. All camp ground fees go to the care of the kangaroos and extra donations are very appreciated. Garry is very knowledgeable about kangaroos and although he has a harsh view on humanity, he's correct on many points. The facilities are excellent and all kitchenware is provided. It's also situated remotely so beautiful views onto both the mountains and the ocean + you can see the stars very well. We highly recommend paying them a visit, best to call before to book a spot!
Rayane C — Google review
What a lovely person and roos! I’m a backpacker who just started road trip from bundaberg to cairns. I found this place from campermate app and decided to sleep over here. I have never seen kangaroos this much close! They were so adorable and nice… Since I came to Australia I have been realizing that I was born on Earth and it’s blessing. Garry who is caring this wonderful place is so lovely person. Definitely he has the wisdom. I know someone can complain about his point but the pessimistic people always do great job for this planet. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet him and roos! Gardening is also awesome!! You can see wild peacocks in the morning 🤞
Suhanmu K — Google review
Such a lovely place, highly recommend for a visit Me and my mom found Garrys place asking on chat gpt where we could see some kangaroo in Agnes water and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience. The place is huge, full of kangaroos and peacocks and the sunset was so beautiful
Andrea D — Google review
The place looks great and you get really close to the kangaroos. However, the owner loves to spread his doomsday scenarios while feeding the kangaroos and some "facts" he's telling are straight up bs or misleading. He doesn't really answer questions about the topics but rather keeps ringing the same bells. I respect the work he puts in for the roos though. If you wanna spend $40 for a night and see some kangaroos, do it.

Market
The 1770 Markets, located at Seventeen Seventy, offer a pleasant stroll along the Round Hill Creek foreshore. The market features a variety of stalls selling local produce, plants, clothing, and handcrafted wood products. Additionally, there are amenities such as picnic shelters, BBQ facilities, and seating areas in the Foreshore Parklands Redevelopment. Visitors can enjoy the scenic view of the creek and bay while leisure vessels pass by.
Perfect for our needs. While staying at a local caravan park, we sought out some local produce. Although the markets may not be extensive, we discovered a variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as a delicious salad that was just right. Finding what we needed when we needed it certainly contributed to the positive review. We also had our dog quickly get a wash, which was a great service while traveling in a small caravan. Parking was very easy and ample. To top it off, we enjoyed some fantastic drinks and sweets, making for a wonderful Sunday morning trip before embarking on some sightseeing around the area.
Ben W — Google review
A nice market by locals and others that only goes for the morning
Charles A — Google review
Nice enough but no different to most other Sunday markets along the coast. Plenty of food stands, locally made honey, arts and crafts, fruit, locally made jewellery and opals etc.
Jᥲmіᥱ — Google review
There is a lot at the market BUT VERY EXPENSIVE for everything. It’s a wonder to me anyone Seles anything. $20 Kilo for strawberries for example. Go to the local IGA a lot cheaper. Obviously they don’t know the meaning of Market
Steve Y — Google review
Great little market always stop in for a look and support local businesses fresh produce great, stained-glass great, seafood excellent ,however bought meat from golden Hill farm and expensive t-bone cooked medium rare and rested was not edible, so unfortunately i will never waist my money there again
Glen K — Google review
Great markets with a mixture of local produce and many little stalls selling miscellaneous items including plants, honey, clothing and beautifully crafted wood products. There is a Dog bath and grooming service, food stalls and a coffee van. It's a wonderful morning out and you can even bring your 4 legged friend.
Mick W — Google review
As markets go this is quite good. We go to stock up on local fresh vegetables and there is ample choice here. The local craft stalls are well represented with all manner of ladies summer attire including jewellery. Artists display for sale their wares made from everything from bolts to wood. Worth a look in.
Chris. A — Google review
One of the best markets around with so many artists and artisans. Original products the are unique to this market.

Hiking area
Red Rock Trail in Agnes Water, Queensland is a picturesque coastal walk that takes about 2 hours to complete. The 6km track offers secluded beaches and stunning views of the crashing waves from a red rock cliff. Although not well-marked, the trail is relatively straightforward with some small cars able to drive along it. The walk provides different scenery at every turn but can be challenging in the midday heat due to limited shade.
Wonderful coastal walk involving a series of beaches and headlands with different scenery at every turn. We walked to the top of the headland end of Red Rock beach looking for a sign we’d finished. We never saw one, but having reached a red rock cliff overlooking crashing waves, we think we finished. 😊🌊
Katrina N — Google review
Beautiful nature trail. The track to the car park is doable but a bumpy ride. Sunscreen and a hat are a must. The walk can be done in less than 3 hours just depends on how much you like to stop.
Emerald J — Google review
Nice trail, not too difficult at all! Some inclined amd declined parts, but overall very doable.
Sander V — Google review
really nice trail, we saw no other people, only some roos. the sign on the street is very confusing, we thought we couldnt drive in but everyone else seemed to do it. its not the greatest road but saves you about 20 minutes of walking.
Lucas U — Google review
3.5 star. Well worth it as it is a unique landscape. Plenty of rock pools to explore. We were told it is not unusual to see taipans and brown snakes so be careful if you stray from the track.
Simon D — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous views! The track wasn't too bad, I don't have the best knees and I coped without my hiking poles. Worth it for the views!!
Tegan G — Google review
I was a bit fearful it was a 4WD track when the GPS told me to turn onto the dirt trail. Just keep going, a few holes here and there that you'll be able to go around and the parking lot will be further up. The signs and paths on this track is pretty straight forward. It isn't a difficult walk but wow is it a scenic one! It's approximately 6km based on my pedometer and took me around 2hrs to complete with stops/pictures in between. However, I wasn't sure where the ending was as there were no signs... Beautiful, tranquil walk with amazing coastal views throughout.
Elle K — Google review
Very hard in the hot blazing sun, but definitely beautiful! And not too difficult, recommend going very early.

Alcohol manufacturer
Nestled in the small town of 1770 and Agnes Water, the 1770 Distillery offers a unique experience with its special Discovery Coast flavors such as Pink Dawn, Sunset, and Strawberry Splash. The owner, John, is passionate about his liqueurs and takes pride in producing high-quality products. Visitors have enjoyed engaging with him during tastings and appreciated his knowledge about the different liquors.
Amazing distillery, super friendly, weve visited a few distilleries and this one is definitely up there. Super knowledgeable, had awesome serving suggestions. Thank you for the great conversation. xx
Gina N — Google review
Great stop off to try some locally made liqueurs. Free small tastings of the four liqueurs they sell, which are all different flavours. Having the tastings equates to around 1.2 standard drinks so ok to drive afterwards. A very lovely lady served us and had a nice chat about the process and what goes into the liqueurs. Bought a bottle of Strawberry Splash and am currently drinking it mixed in a glass of prosecco. Was told it would also go well on ice cream, which I will most definitely have to try.
Laura H — Google review
Wow! Such unique liquers! The lady (didn't get her name) was so lovely and friendly, she explained everything about the drinks really well... She is instantly likeable and is great at what she does. We loved the tastings and now differently the drinks tasted after adding mineral water, so fascinating! Buddy the dog came out for a pat too. We bought two bottles and will possibly buy more online again later. The flavour combinations of the drinks are genius and so unique. Definitely worth visiting.
Daysi M — Google review
Visited this lovely small boutique distillery yesterday. They specialise in liquers using local fresh fruits. Michelle was very friendly. Free tasting & yes we purchased two bottles. Support the local business's.

Really enjoyed visiting the distillery. Tiny place with a plant nursery attached. The guy who runs it is passionate about what he does. Explained each drink as we tasted them and was happy to chat with us about the process he goes through to make them. Lovely drinks. We bought a couple of bottles - wish we bought more as they are easy drinking with a mixer, already gone!
Karla G — Google review
Friendly staff/owner and a nice place to try some of the distilled liquors for free! Purchased a few bottles as gifts, and a great place to drop in for 15-20 minutes!

Visitors can also enjoy refreshing drinks such as ice coffees made with high-quality ingredients.
Very nice atmosphere, food is great too. There is a cute shop that is part of the cafe there. The view of the pond and nature is very relaxing and inviting. The coffee was well presented and the food was amazing. The quality is definitely there I recommend this place. The place was very busy and the waiting was not that long. The place felt safe too with the COVID restrictions.

A peaceful garden escape where you can enjoy truly delicious food. Surrounded by greenery and the sound of the water fountain this place is a must stop. I enjoyed the Wagyu beef burger with delicious chips. A traditional chocolate milkshake which was one to remember. And lastly a slice of chocolate hazelnut cheesecake. The staff are happy and kind. Service was very quick which impressed me. Dog friendly area on the grass.

This was a very lucky discovery on our trip. Booked last minute and right at kitchen closing time, requesting vegan options - so I was preparing to be let down! They delivered above expectations on every count - offered to have food available when we arrived, explained which items could be made vegan and assured us they’d seat us if we were late. We arrived to find the most beautiful rainforest garden setting and exquisite cafe surrounded by nature. The service was absolutely delightful and accommodating. Our vegan wraps with house-made lentil patties, pickles and some kind of out-of-this-world relish/dressing were a massive serving and by far the best I’ve had in 10 years! The coffee on Bonsoy was perfect and even the bathroom was delightfully gorgeous and clean. I can not fault this business. I wish I’d had the chance to tell the owners in person what an absolute credit you are to your community. Who would’ve thought a cafe would be such a highlight of our visit to Agnes! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Katie P — Google review
This place is amazing! Nice food, really nice service and a wonderful view! The perfect spot for stop even just for coffee on the way! And they have so many different kind of delicious cakes! I just fall in love with this place!! 😍

This was the perfect place to spend the afternoon on a rainy day. The walk up to the cafe is through a beautiful rainforest garden that instantly makes you feel relaxed. I would vote Getaway as having the best coffee in Agnes Water they use Campos beans and have a variety of different milks available. The service we received was fantastic and the staff make sure that you have an enjoyable experience.
Ron I — Google review
We came here after staying in our campervan in town. Needless to say as soon as we arrived it was amazing. Very funky and fresh for he area. Pros: *Modern *Plenty of outdoor room *Split bills *Fresh juice and smoothy options (I don't drink coffee *Burgers and breakfast menu at the same time Cons: *Serving time was long *Paying for bill took ages *Everything was a wait Recommendations: Absolutely amazing place and I would of given it 5 stars had the service been upto it. I think absolutely everyone was super lovely and helpful but to have one toll to order and pay, no one waiting to seat is and a billing system that requires everyone at the table involved with a split bills to be there at exactly the same time let it down. In short steam line a little and you are absolutely there for the long haul. I'll be back for sure and I recommend it to everyone!
Craig L — Google review
Decided to pop in here whilst we were on a bike ride, what a find! Probably the nicest place we've been to in the area. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent. The chicken pannini was enough for me. Would definitely recommend visiting if your in the area. It's nice to find a cafe that has given some thought to the customer experience. If you're an adventurous traveler looking for a short but rewarding hike, the Discovery Trail Lookout in Agnes Water is a must-visit. Accessible from the Agnes Water Museum, this trail offers a relatively challenging uphill walk with some steps and dirt terrain. The 10-minute trek leads to a windy lookout area with stunning views of the beaches meeting the rocky lookout. The spot is wheelchair-friendly with ample parking and information boards for history enthusiasts.
Nice little trek along the sea, with free parking available near the entrance. The walk is about 15 minutes long, very easy, and accessible to all levels. The viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic views, making it truly worth the short walk! Don't miss it if you're in the area, it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature.

Easy 10 minute walk to the lookout.. awesome view of the surrounding area.. well worth the trek up.

Situated near the Agnes Water Museum, this is a lovely scenic short walk to Agnes Water Headland. You can easily do it within an hour and it is well marked. There is low gradient but nothing too strenuous. We came on a weekend and there was plenty of parking in the car park.
Casandra T — Google review
Lovely short walk which varies from 600m to 1000m one way depending which of the various tracks you take. A wee bit of a climb, but up top you get superb views back to the Agnes coast & upto 1770. We saw a wee tree snake halfway up. We went up on the track from the back gate of NRMA camp, and came down on track to the Community centre. About 3/4 hour all up with time for photos up top

Loved it 💓 Nice walk and beautiful view ✨🌹
Caia 8 — Google review
A pleasant 10-15 minute walk from the museum car park to the lookout. Dogs allowed on leash, and the breezy lookout is very welcome at the end. Quite shaded for the most part, and caution advised with snakes on the walk.
Kerbray — Google review
Lovely spot to look over the beaches that meet the rocky lookout. Easy access with plenty of car parking spaces. Wheelchair friendly (New path when we went makes for easier access) Information boards for the history buffs, if your in the area this lookout is definitely one to go see. Please like the review if you've read it, it helps business's grow.
Kelly S — Google review
The walk up to here wasn’t the easiest to find or to traverse! It’s mostly uphill (as you’re going to the lookout), with some steps and some dirt terrain. However, the view at the top is quite nice. The walk probably took about 10 minutes at a relatively fast pace and no stopping. The lookout area was quite windy - if you’re in the area and looking for a nice quick walk, I’d recommend! The only issue is that the start of the walk is a bit hard to find (there wasn’t much parking nearby so we had to walk ~1km from the side street parking just to get to the start)

Chinaman's Beach is a hidden gem located just south of Agnes Water town, offering a less crowded alternative to the popular Agnes Beach. Accessible via a short drive past the Police Station and Library, this beach features bitumen access almost all the way to the sand. While not ideal for young swimmers due to strong waves, it offers surfable waves and clean, clear waters for older kids and adults to enjoy.
Chinamans beach is a great place to visit with plenty of parking although you cannot bring caravans or trailers to the beach as it’s a very steep entrance to drive into the car park and there are no long car parks here. Car parking is for about 10 cars only it’s only a short maybe 50 m walk From the car park to the beach. It does have lifeguards at certain times of the year but I wouldn’t advise swimming here on wild days definitely a great stop off for the day with family.

Beautiful beach, carpark nice and close. Well worth a look.

Quiet beach that's a short walk down the bitumen to the sand. No dogs allowed unfortunately due to conservation efforts in the area, but reasonable beach for a nice stroll. Toilet facilities located at the top near the car park.

It offers a peaceful atmosphere near the beach and beautiful forested areas. Visitors can enjoy foreshore walking trails and stunning views of the coastline. Great bushcamping site. Facilities: Flushing toilets, town water. Outside cold water beach shower. Mobile phone reception. A couple of picnic tables, barbecue and waste bins. Not very far from town. Great, isolated beach with interesting rocks to clamber on. Lovely forested area. Nice foreshore walking trails. Dogs permitted on leads. Bring bug repellent! Bring vinegar in case of stingers in sea. Book online, however there is an issue with people camping who haven't booked as bookings aren't by allocated site, you unfortunately need to be here earlish to secure your booking. Will come again!

Kevin booked my Whitsunday’s tour with Ocean Rafting and he was fabulous! Super friendly and made time to explain the different tours and what they offer before recommending a one to fit my budget/plans. So knowledgeable about all of the different activities each tour can offer because he’d done most of the tours himself and so was based on his own experiences. Would 10/10 recommend booking any tours with Kevin, he‘ll give you honest advice and takes all the stress out of booking yourself!

Booked a Whitsunday trip 🌞 at this Awesome TravelBugs and I have to say: What an AMAZING bunch of dedicated and passionate people are working over here at this lovely place at Agnes Water & the Town Of 1770! 😄🔥 From the moment I walked in, I didn't feel any pressure at all.(Which is normally the case at those travel companies, sell sell sell 🤨) Kevin (What a Legend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!) took his time for me and recommended so many cool trips. In the end his lovely colleague Mish shared her knowledge and experience aswell with me and they both figured out that the 'Summertime' boat would be the perfect fit for me and WOW what an EXPERIENCE it has been!! 🤙 (Even booked a skydive aswell lol, absolutely gold!⚡️ ) A big thanks to Kevin, Mish and the whole crew, would highly recommend people to walk in, have a lovely chat and get informed by the most honest people whom would like to share their knowledge and give you an amazing experience! Thanks guys, you are rocking!! 🔥🔥🔥

We are a little late (been there 6 month ago), but during our holiday trip in Australia we are still so unbelievable grateful for realizing our trip to the Great Barrier Reef. Our planned trip, run by a different company, was cancelled because of stormy weather. But the operator from Discover 1770 & Agnes Water saved our trip and did what seemed nearly impossible by finding an alternative organisation to make a dream come true. She made incredible effort by searching on the internet, making calls and checking the weather forecast. Thank you guys so much!

Nice little town on the coast, some great restaurants! And an excellent fish and chip place in town There are also some interesting little boutiques as well for souvenirs, clothing, crafts, and jewelry The catamaran trip to Lady Musgrave Island is worth it , and also the Lark excursion is a lot of fun. I highly recommend a visit!

My daughter & I had the best day! The weather was so perfect. I didn't know what to expect but the Larc was better than I imagined. I was quite nervous going up the pathway to the lighthouse, the Skipper was very competent in driving us up safely. The history of the Lighthouse was very informative I really liked the house and all the interesting information & how well it is maintained. Morning tea and lunch was very yummy the ANZAC biscuits & Billy tea were really great!. I was happy that I attemped sandboarding only did the small hill it was such fun. I would have really liked to have gone for a swim but the tide was out. The commentary of the birds, trees & creeks by the host was quite informative & somewhat humorous I will definitely recommend the Larc to my family & friends. Thank you for the memories I will share with my daughter

It's a great opportunity to enjoy a beautiful area while being immersed in great music.
First timer in 2018 and I was hooked. Yes, it's live and in my backyard, and how good is that? Every year since then I've listened to musicians I'd never heard of, and felt how lucky am I to see them, hear them, meet them, and enjoy them in a well organised and safe environment. Now I'm getting excited about taking to 11 in February 2026. Bring it on!!!

Had lunch on Sunday the 16th Feb 2025. The place has just been renovated and looks beautiful. First thing I thought as I walked in was that it would be such a good place for a reception like weddings or such. Service was great as-well, all the staff were lovely and happy to help any way possible. Plus, the food was very quickly served even though they were busy. The food was delicious. 1770 Reef - Great Barrier Reef Eco Tours offers an incredible day trip to the Great Barrier Reef. The crew is highly recommended for their expertise in providing a fantastic experience, with activities like snorkeling and scuba diving allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the reef. The friendly and knowledgeable staff ensure a memorable and enjoyable time, while the opportunity to see numerous turtles adds to the excitement.
Really enjoyed the trip out to Lady Musgrave Island and reef tour. The staff were extremely friendly and caring. The tour of the Island was fantastic and very unique in its development as a coral island. The vegetation was beautiful. The food was provided all day in plentiful amounts. Appreciated the cup a soup for warmth and the scones were definitely a winner. Reef and sea creatures were in abundance and thoroughly enjoyed the snorkel. The icing on the cake was to view a whale close up on the return. Would recommend this tour.
Helen M — Google review
It was certainly worth getting up early for this trip to Lady Musgrave Island. The crew were very professional and competent. We had lunch morning tea and afternoon tea – all was Complimentary and delicious. There was also the opportunity to purchase other drinks and snacks. It was interesting to walk around the island and learn a bit about the history of the southern barrier reef. Then to be guided through the lagoon to see the most impressive turtles. On our way back, the captain made a slight detour as he had been looking out for whales - We had a wonderful display from a mother and calf. I would highly recommend this trip.
Kate H — Google review
The stars are for this magnificent island and lagoon. We were a little disappointed by the coral: most of it is brown, which doesn't mean it's dead, but rather due to algae. It doesn't look like coral with all the imaginable colors you can see elsewhere on the Great Barrier Reef so if you want to see coral go to the north. The worst part is that I've never paid for a wetsuit on a tour. Yes, it's written in the email, but to me, it's a joke. The price here is the same as for all the tours in GBR, with an extra charge for snorkeling. The wetsuit costs $10 per person, which isn't much, but it's a bit surprising it’s alaways included in the price…
Rose G — Google review
Our family of four (kids are 12 and 7 year old boys) had an amazing time. The ride out was rough, and we were glad we took our motion sickness medication. However, it was worth it to be able to explore the island and snorkel the reef. The boat itself is comfortable and accommodating. The staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful. We saw tons of beautiful fish, many sea turtles, an octopus, and stingrays, and we were even treated to some whale watching on the smooth ride back!

Andrea D — Google review
Had a lovely day trip to Lady Musgrove island today. Safety procedures were well explained and demonstrated. The skipper a glimpse of a breaching whale. He diverted our course so that we could see mother and calf playing. We must have sat by them for 10 minutes. What great diversion!
Ben S — Google review
Had a terrific day out. The journey out to Lady Musgrave was a little rough for some passengers but the crew took it in their stride and made sure everyone was OK, giving out cups of ice and tending to those who needed a bit more help. Our guide on the island was very knowledgeable and after a walk around we headed to the glass bottom boat for a different view of the reef. Even spotted a few turtles! After a tasty lunch of wraps and fruit and plenty of it, we were decked out for snorkelling in the lovely clear but cold waters. Again the crew were terrific and made sure everyone was comfortable and had the right gear. The cherry on top was a tail slapping, fin flipping display by a mumma whale and her calf. So wonderful to see and experience. The whole day was awesome with amazing crew and the food was delicious and plenty of it. Luckily the trip home was far more comfortable and a lot gentler on the stomach! 10/10 to the crew. Top day out.

Absolutely outstanding! The rump steak was cooked to perfection - Juicy, tender, and full of flavour - easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The garlic prawns where next- level delicious, rich and buttery with just the right amount of garlic. The service was just as impressive - friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Visitors can savor their meals while watching boats come and go near the jetty.
Got the bacon and egg roll for breakfast for $12, 7.40am and there were half of the tables free. As soon as it turned 8am it was very busy, queue to order food coming out the door. Food was great, loved how the fried egg was cooked, exactly how I like it. Not watery at all. Bacon was great not a lot of fat on it which is again how I like it. Good portion sizes. 10/10 breakfast - thank you.

The cookies and vanilla slices are a MUST. I also had the pink lemonade ice tea and it was amazing! The service was very quick and the staff are really nice.

Brilliant. We came for the vanilla slice but at the last minute were too tempted by the pecan pie. It was spectacular. Made our day. Great coffee and service, too. A friendly and efficient team. Loved it.
Melanie R — Google review
Great location, plenty of parking {off season) Warning... the vanilla slice is huge ! Far too much to eat in one go... but I did anyway. Delicious 😋
Pete T — Google review
We enjoyed our first trip on a LARC today but no sooner had we disembarked, the skies opened. Sheltering undercover at the Marina we visited the cafe for a coffee and one of their legendary vanilla slices. The coffees were good and the vanilla slice large. With me, the jury is still out whether it is the best tasting vanilla slice around but I guess it’s all down to an individual’s taste.
Geoff R — Google review
What a lovely spot, was very busy when we got back from a tour, so we only had a quick drink at the bar.

Vanilla slice is the best 👌, breakfast and coffee ☕️ sensational. BTW, the owner makes the vanilla slice himself.

We had a top night paddling with Simon into the sunset. A beautiful night to see a gorgeous sunset, Simon was fun and passionate about his love for the marine life and 1770. Absolutely stunning, highly recommend you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the wine and spoils of your home made Anzac biscuits and popcorn 🍿 Simon they were delicious! 😋

We rented a kayak for a self guided paddle and it was awesome. The birds and marine life you can spot as you take a leisurely paddle are totally awesome. The Soldier Crabs on the sand bars were out of this world. The weather turned on our last night so we missed the opportunity to return for the sunsets paddle which looks really good.
Kaz B — Google review
We did the sunset kayak tour and just .. WOW! This was one of the best tours we’ve done since landing in Australia. Simon was so knowledgeable about the area of 1770 and its marine life. Answered questions we’ve been wondering about Captain Cook and why the town is called 1770 also! We saw 3 types of dolphins swimming metres away from us and unbelievably saw whales breaching in the distance - SO AWESOME. You also sea loads of rays in the water and Simon even said you sometimes see turtles! The two person kayaks are actually so much better than when I’ve done it solo as it does get tiring and you cover a lot more distance with a two man - IT’S THE WAY TO GO. Simon’s home made biscuits and popcorn during sunset was the icing on the cake.

BOOK NOW!!!! I cannot recommend this enough. From the start to the end, the tour was brilliant. Hosted with an excellent level of detail on the local wildlife and by great people who care about the environment they live in. I hadn’t kayaked as an adult and it’s something I would do again in a heart beat. So much fun and a great way to see the area. Again, BOOK NOW!!! You won’t regret it.

Awesome experience. Perfect dog friendly activity. Fit a golden retriever in the back and got good tips on how to kayak with a dog. $35 for two hours. The area is amazing, in the morning you can stop on the sand islands and see crabs.

Absolutely fantastic afternoon on the sunset tour. Our tour guide Simon was not only helpful with kayaking tips and safety but he was very knowledgeable on the history of the area. We saw dolphins playing close by and it was a relaxing and enjoyable time to witness the beautiful sunset of 1770. The snacks and drinks were a nice touch. Highly recommend

Lunch on the beach! My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at this casual beach cafe. Our Angus beef burger and pumpkin and beetroot salad were delicious. And it was wonderful to enjoy our food oustide on the deck with views of the beach. This is a great spot for breakfast or lunch in Agnes Water!

Great spot right on the beach! Can’t beat the ambiance and views. Coffee was good, breakfast was nice but needed a little extra (we added salmon to both meals). Felt the rosti needed a second rosti but otherwise really good. Likewise the holiday plate was great but a slice of sourdough wouldn’t have gone astray. We are good eaters tho. 🤣 Dog friendly and lovely shaded tables on the grass. Best location in Agnes, highly recommend!

Lovely spot on the beach. Access is through the Agnes Water Caravan Park or from the beach. So you park in the street or carpark down the road. Milkshake was 10/10!! Green Juice really refreshing and BLAT delicious. Dog friendly as well. Staff were lovely.

Over priced menu, $6 for a small milkshake and $8.50 for a coffee, no prices displayed until they charge you. Oh, both drinks were not very good, milkshake was not cold and coffee was very weak.

If you're staying in 1770 and looking for a place to eat this is your best option. The service is efficient, the food is good with surprisingly awesome pizzas. It is a small family business so there may be a wait during busy periods but it is worth it. If you fancy a drink just make sure you pick up your favourite tipple in a bottle shop in Agnes Waters as it's BYO. As far as dining out in 1770 goes it's your best option

food is good. but disapointed that my 12 inch pizza was only 10 inches. thats approx 1/3 less. Hate being ripped off when it comes to food. They must think people are stupid. No. maybe they are right because nobody challenges them. The box it came in was 12 inches square. maybee thst qualifies a 12 inch pizza.

A basic bistro meal. Very small entree and kid meal sizes. Dessert (brownie) was very small but hubby was happy with his old fashioned banana split. Very friendly service.

As previous reviews say, location great, staff friendly, but.... way over priced for what you get! Fisherman's basket small and the salad was ordinary, steak burger was just OK. But, when you can walk there, BYO, and your on the beach, you decide. I'D GIVE IT 2.5 ⭐

Drift and wood is the top restaurant in Agnes water with out a doubt, the owner Gracie and his amazing restaurant manager, Madie are fantastic, they have the best service and value in Agnes water , the pizzas for example are the best I’ve ever had , try the rest then come to the best , you won’t be disappointed, truly the sensational .

If you want elegant food, Drift and Wood is the place to go. Well set out, staff were very pleasant. The food was absolutely superb. I had the steak, it was cooked perfectly, the veges were seasoned really nicely. Definitely be visiting again! 10/10.

Drift & Wood Restaurant is totally one of my favorite eating place in Agnes Water! Chef and proprietor Gracie Sharwood offers a wide range of deliciously prepared, traditional, as well as innovative dishes. The serving sizes are always generous and very satisfying for both food and drinks. The service is exceptional and always with a smile. Fantastic place, where you can still have full service for a very reasonable price. Most recent favorite: Pizza! Gracie has chosen his staff with much care to match his personality, hard work and generosity of spirit, of note, Maddy. Love this place, quiet on days when there is no live music and where you can still have a conversation in a pleasant environment. Very highly recommended!

YOU NEED THE SUNDAY YUMCHA! I am an Asian food fanatic and this was probably the best Asian food I’ve ever had. It’s flavourful, fresh and just perfection. The tea has fresh ginger, the Thai chicken wontons were out of this world with authentic flavour, the steamed pork and red bean buns are the best steamed buns I’ve ever had and I am more satisfied than I’ve been from a meal out in a long time. It was $101 and we got a beer, tea for two and nine Yumcha options. Don’t sleep on this restaurant, everything was divine. The chef took our orders, was friendly and didn’t even write it down, he just remembered. The serving dish’s were super cute as well. I don’t have a bad thing to say. Best experience ever!

After the reviews we read thought we would give it a try, service was very non attentive and at one stage we asked for a drink and she told us to go to the bar ourselves. Husband chose the special red beef Thai curry, he couldn't eat it was so bad and the pizza I had tasted like they didn't leave in the oven long enough. Overpriced and terrible venue - band was ok though. Give it a miss, we won't be back.

The family packs are a great option for those looking to get the most out of their meal. With friendly service and efficient operations, this newly opened establishment has quickly become a favorite among travelers. The generous servings and delicious offerings like calamari strips, fresh fish, crunchy chips, and huge burgers make it an ideal stop for a satisfying meal or snack.
This was with out a doubt THE best calamari I’ve ever had. We ordered the fish and chips deal for one and the crumbed calamari and it was so delicious. The lady who served us was so kind and helpful and greeted everyone with a smile. There was far more food than I expected and the fish was perfect as well and my partner (who is British and loves his fish n chips) was very impressed.

We had take away meal dinners last night. Staff were very hospitable. The sweet lips fillets were grilled perfectly, plenty of chips and the salad was huge, including beetroot AND pineapple with shredded cheese as a nice touch. Not many places do that.
Geoff S — Google review
We are passing through on holidays. Read such great reviews about this place. Imagine our disappointment when our food was cold. The battered fish was so greasy. I waited for 37mins for my order while others that came after us were served their food. The new owners had better get their act together or the once amazing business will suffer.
Margie B — Google review
We tried the snack pack with reef fish and chips, plus the chilli calamari. The fish was cooked well and had a solid firm appearance. It was also not in any way greasy, which was great. Chips were OK too. The chilli calamari was really good, and not just those frozen rings you get elsewhere. Really fresh and nice amount of spice. Well worth the trip for a decent fish and chip meal by the beach.

Great, friendly service and the best fish and chips I've had in a long time! Good size servings of fish that were perfectly cooked - and so many choices of flavours for grilled. I had the lemon pepper. All fresh and the chips were cooked perfectly

Best day of our 4 week holiday. Tony & Sandy were the perfect hosts, they took us snorkeling at the reef, we saw some whales on the way & then we went fishing. If you want a personal tour to the best spot on lady Musgrave and some amazing fishing then this is the one.

Did a half day fishing combined with half day snorkeling. Everyone on the boat caught plenty of good fish and the snorkeling was great too. It's a smaller boat than some of the other operators so it wasn't crowded even in summer peak season, only 6 customers on board. Highly recommended.

Cannot recommend Tony and Sandy enough for anyone looking to go offshore from 1770. We faced a very difficult forecast period and Sandy was in constant communication helping us to best organise our holiday. With Tony's many years experience as a skipper were able to capitalise on a brief weather window, travelling happily with our dinghy in tow to Lady Musgrave for a wonderful stay. I can't wait for the next trip out with 1770 Creek2Reef!

Great hospitality, took us to a pristine snorkel at the reef then fishing. They allowed us to do both trolling and bait fishing. The only problem was that the fish were too big. Despite losing a few giant fish we managed to land some nice coral trout, red emprorers and a black spotted cod plus a many others.

NRMA Agnes Water Holiday Park is a beachfront accommodation offering stunning ocean views from the balcony. The glamping safari tents are particularly noteworthy. Visitors have enjoyed the well-equipped facilities suitable for all campers, including those with disabilities. The sense of community among campers and the inclusive environment for LGBTIQ+ individuals have been highlighted as positive aspects of the park.
We stayed in Cabin 6A for two nights. The cabin has views of the beach and ocean. The views are absolutely beautiful. The cabin was very clean, neat and tidy with a comfortable bed and a full size fridge. The cabin and views exceeded our expectations. We had breakfast at the cafe at the caravan park and it was great and the cafe also had beautiful views of the ocean. The prices were reasonable as well which is hard to find anywhere these days.

Good location with private beach access. but found where we were staying had multiple visible moulds on the side area right next to the bedside dust and weird set-up of TV direction and bathroom (taps position) to the actual room. Sliding door dividing was broken so could not be closed. There is no way to block out the noise from the next cabin/tent since it was so close together.

Park is directly on the beach. Has cafe open til around 2pm serving breakfast, brunch, lunch. Facilities are great, but now school holidays have started, they tend to get a bit grubby. This is one of our favourite spots along this part of the Queensland coast. Easy walk to shops and tavern. Sites are reasonably sized. Quiet at night.

Location location location, every need within walking distance, family friendly beach right at door step, great staff and fabulous cafe on site. Easy checkin and out. Grounds well maintained. We stayed in a villa this trip and perfect for our 3 night stay, everything we needed. Super comfy beds. Great view from our veranda. Highly recommend Agnes Water Caravan Park if you are headed to Agnes Waters.

Had a 5 night stay here. The park is in two parts the older park close to the beach and the newer Spring Road part. We stayed in the Spring Road part right by the entrance site 101. This part of the park is for smaller single axel vans, roof top tents, and motor homes, our van is 8m total. Parking was a little tight, not much room between vans and getting in with the van could be a challenge. We were 380m from the beach but I felt our part of the camp was quiet. Other than the Saturday when we arrived and lots of kids they packed up Sunday and left we didn't see anymore for the rest of the stay which was good as so much more peaceful and relaxing without them. Not the case in the older side. I don't think there are enough amenities 3 toilets and 2 showers we we were with 2 ambulatory shower toilet combined. There only 1 washing machine dryer in the SP part of the camp.
Pamela R — Google review
This NRMA park is exceptional and would visit again. Stayed in a on beach cabin and perfect to wake up each morning and hear the ocean and look over the beautifully landscaped area heading down to the beach. Cafe right next door which provided great service and coffee. Will definitely visit for longer next time.

Great location on the beach. Amenities are super clean. It’s quiet and friendly and safe. An awesome park. Book ahead because it’s super popular. Thank you for a fabulous camping experience at NRMA Agnes Water Holiday Park.
Annie B — Google review
An absolutely beautiful location - and that’s what you’re paying for. Unfortunately the parks facilities are really old and not family friendly at all. We were there in our campervan with a baby and two toddlers so needed the facilities, and they were strictly male/female with no family room or unisex/disabled bathrooms. We were reported for using the male facilities to shower our three kids quickly after an afternoon at the beach - obviously by someone who has never had young kids and doesn’t understand the difficulties. Really tainted our experience here and we won’t be back.

I had the opportunity to attend two classes at Stylez Surf School with instructor Amber. The classes catered to both children, aged 10 and 8, providing them with wet suits and boards for an enjoyable experience. Despite initial fear of the waves, Amber's patient and fun approach helped the younger child gain confidence by the second class. All participants were beginners but eventually succeeded in standing up on their boards, with the kids achieving this feat multiple times.
It was our first surf lesson and an amazing experience. After a few attempts, we both managed to stand up on the board. Anna looked after our kids during that time. Definitely give it a try! You won’t regret it.

What makes this school extra special is the way it brings the whole town together. They’ve created such a strong and positive community around surfing. I’ve made some great friends through the courses, and we still go out for surf sessions regularly. Whenever friends visit, I always take them to Stylez. It’s become a big part of my life here!

My little one was afraid of the waves but, Amber has such a great patient and fun attitude for kids, that by the second class she stood up and gain her courage . We're all beginners and eventually we all suceeded standing up the kids more times than us 🤣 🏄‍♂️. Anna managed to take photos and videos and send us so we even got a great photos. we highly recommend 🤙🏾 .

The new boat is designed for diver comfort, with small details taken into consideration. The staff members are described as professional, friendly, and efficient in running the operation.
The end of a perfect week in the beautiful 1770 (Agnes Waters) with 3 days of magnificent diving on the Southern Great Barrier Reef. 6 perfect dives filled with dense healthy and wide variety of corals, loads of colourful fish, heaps of turtles, moray eels, bright nudibranchs, some reef sharks, and a manta ray on our last dive. Each dive we were serenaded by whales songs and on the boat we had whales breaching close by. On the last day we also had pods of dolphins come past the boat, and a leaping manta! Huge thank you to Carmen and the team at Dive Spear Sport, it really was a magical special holiday. Highly Recommend diving the Southern Barrier Reef with Dive Spear Sport :)

My husband & I joined the crew for a day on the reef snorkeling & it was fascinating, informative, friendly & fun. Saw lots of fish, coral & the odd small shark! Met great people & had plenty of snorkeling time in the water with all gear & food provided. Thank-you

Great experience with Dive Spear and Sport We had a really good day out on the water with Dive Spear and Sport. The team was super friendly, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Communication before and during the trip was clear and helpful. The ride out to the reef in the speedboat was a bit rough at times – so if you get seasick easily, it’s a good idea to take travel tablets beforehand. Once we arrived, it was absolutely worth it. The snorkelling itself was fantastic. We stopped at a beautiful spot with great visibility and lots to see. The highlight for us was definitely spotting green sea turtles, some reef sharks, and even manta rays that swam right past us – a really special moment! All in all, a great day with a great team. Greetings from Switzerland!

Had the most amazing day out on the snorkelling tour! The crew were incredible – so knowledgeable, friendly and always happy to help. We loved learning not only about the local marine life but also the rich cultural significance of the area. A special shoutout to Carmen for all the info and to Matt for guiding us through the water – we saw so many sea creatures and had a lot of fun along the way. Truly an unforgettable experience!

We had a wonderful experience with Jana and her crew, it was our first time scuba diving and she was very patient and understanding with us. We felt very safe and we loved every bit of it, we can’t wait to dive again. We also liked the fact that we were a small group of people, we felt privileged. And finally we liked the part where we can learn a bit about the coral reefs and the operations they conduct to protect it. Thanks again to the whole crew ! 🧡

Wayne has been incredibly thoughtful and precise when it comes to the small details. I'm really happy with his work. Highly recommended if you're looking for something special and beautifully done.

After my dad passed away I inherited a bunch of jewellery. I had no idea what I had. I took it all into Wayne and he separated the junk from the ‘good stuff’ for me. Then we took the ‘good stuff’ and came up with some ‘new stuff’. My grandmother’s and my mother’s rings are now two beautiful heirloom pieces. A Tiffany-inspired solitaire and a stunning cluster. Couldn’t be happier with Wayne’s service and design skills. Thanks Wayne!!

Absolutely amazing work! Wayne designed and made my engagement ring with meticulous attention to detail! He took everything into account: larger than average sizing, non traditional material and the balance between aesthetics and function. Could not recommend more highly!

Recently I was fortunate enough to purchase one of his individually designed rings as an anniversary gift. The ring is stunning and I am thrilled with it and the admiring comments it attracts. Wayne is fastidious in his attention to detail, genuine and honest in his communications, and most importantly will patiently listen to ensure all expectations are met. You will be well rewarded by a visit to this store!

Wayne Thank you. You took such care throughout the whole process. You gave me time patience guidance and advice. You listened to my ideas and looked at oh so many photos. Now I am captivated by the most magnificent engagement ring that you created for me. It is durable wearable and stunning. You made a process that I thought would be daunting stress free and easy. You answered any questions I had and within weeks I was presented with a masterpiece. It may have been the first but it definitely won’t be the last. Many thanks Madi😊

Highly recommend Wayne, after my engagement ring was stolen I decided to go local rather than the bigger commercial jewelers. My new ring is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Wayne
Leonie M — Google review
Wayne is a true craftsman, I was blown away by his restoration of my grandmothers ring. We had the diamond replaced twice elsewhere and it fell out within 6 months. (Both times it was gone and we didn’t know where to look and had paid dearly for the dam thing) Wayne explained that the setting required a lot of work as the style was old and the shoddy workmanship we had paid for had actually damaged it further. It required a proper rebuild to ensure we would never lose the diamond again. When we got it back from Wayne it looked brand new, the level of care and quality was obvious. My grandmother is overjoyed and at 88 years old these sentimental pieces are so precious. She’s worn it nonstop and remarks often about how it’s holding up so well. Thank you Wayne, you’ve made an elderly lady very happy 😊

Appreciate all the help yesterday guys, as a Victorian that has minimal pelagic off rocks experience these guys pointed me to where people often catch these fish. Showed me some spoon lures and showed me a bunch of photos of fish caught land based. Appreciate the great customer service
HuntingPublicBush — Google review
During my 6 week stay in 1770, I have visited this shop on numerous occasions and I have always been impressed. The staff are knowledgeable and willing to assist with all questions. As the weather conditions at the time of year were not great, it was necessary to adjust my plans a little. I fished estuary, beach, rocks and my introduction to worming. Each time, I quizzed the guy in the shop. All my questions were answered and some helpful guidance was offered with question that I had not thought of. A view of their photo album is essential. A much smaller shop that a metro tackle shop, the stock is relevant to the area and comprehensive. Assistance is offered but there is no pressure to buy. I enjoyed every visit and recommend to all.
Bill S — Google review
I have never experienced such rude customer service in my life. The young man is lovely but the old man and woman were awful. They were insulting me personally because they sold me a broken fishing rod and I asked for them to fix it or replace it. They did not want to do that and kept telling me I broke it when I wasn’t able to use it because the reel was broken. If you are selling broken items don’t personally insult your customer when you are in the wrong. Do not recommend
Paris F — Google review
The worst costumer service. We are locals in Agnes Water and is a shame and sad we can't use the local shop because of the rude people that owns it. The old woman treated us like idiots when asking for a bag when she saw we were with our hands full and spending $80 at the shop. Had use the shop a few years back and the fishing rod broke on the first use and they never helped us with that and giving them another chance this time it was even worse the experience. Is a shame we will not be able to recommend them to anyone.

The area features two trails—one leading right and another left—each offering unique perspectives and delightful photo opportunities from their respective viewing platforms.
The 1770 headland is one of those "must do" places. Its got 2 lovely viewing platforms - one close to car park & another a bit of a 500m walk up the hill. Great photo opportunities

5 Stars. Well worth the walks. There are 2. One to the right and another to the left of the headland. We went right first and then back up the stairs and followed the track through a little rainforest with lots of ferns, moss and butterflies to the other one to the left. Both have viewing platforms that provide nice photo opportunities. I see the mixed opinions on car parking. When we visited I felt that there was plenty of parking. I guess it all depends on when you visit. Maybe choose early in the morning so as not to be disappointed. Highly recommended.

The fish was fresh and tasted good, however it needs a proper price board as not all prices are indicated. My only negative comment was about the price, which was very high, even considering the freshness and that it's mostly locally sourced. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: you might have the pricing on the boards now, but you didn't have them more than one year ago when I wrote the review! All the best with your business, looking forward to back!

Super friendly and made time to explain the different tours and what they offer before recommending a one to fit my budget/plans. So knowledgeable about all of the different activities each tour can offer because he’d done most of the tours himself and so was based on his own experiences.

Eurimbulah creek campground: 4 stars because…. If it’s been raining leading up to your stay the mozzies will eat you alive… be sure to take mosquito spray as well as coils and anything else you have to deter them and also the midgies.
