The Worcester Art Museum is a renowned institution housing an extensive and diverse collection of over 35,000 artworks spanning more than 5,000 years. From ancient to contemporary pieces, the museum showcases European masterworks alongside global cultural artifacts. Visitors can admire paintings by renowned artists such as Monet and Goya, explore the silver collection by Paul Revere, marvel at floor mosaics from Antioch, and immerse themselves in cutting-edge contemporary art.
World class museum featuring a Monet masterpiece from his time in London. Ancient Rome fan? Fascinated by gladiatorial games? Well you in for a real treat, with an actual real Gladiator helmet from Ancient Roman times. Also some actual Ancient Rome busts of emperors Marcus Aurelius, Caligula, and Nero dating back to 1st Century AD. Also a Greek helmet dating back from 450 BC. Ancient Egyptian art dating back to 1980 BC. When you walk you the showstopper of the place is a big beautiful floor mosaic dating back to 500AD. Terrific tapestries, Rodin and Houdon sculpture. John Singer Sargent pieces. Also pretty cool Medieval stained glass from 1200s, and knight chain mail. Awesome tapestries and Japanese art exhibit when I went.

Beautiful museum. Some incredible exhibits and historical items. My only minor complaint was that the Higgins Armor exhibit won’t be open until the fall. My daughter enjoyed trying on the armor as well.

Visited the peaceful kingdom exhibit where a collection of artists interpret the main seminal painting. Spent a fascinating 45 minutes here.

We got married a couple weeks ago at the Worcester Art Museum and it was amazing! Our wedding coordinator, Julie, and her team were so helpful. The museum is also just such a beautiful place; we got the most gorgeous pictures! I recommend coming here for a visit and I 100% recommend it for events.
Brenna — Google review
I've been visiting the Worcester Art Museum (WAM) on an occasional basis for decades, despite not living in the vicinity. Particularly given the size of the surrounding community, It continues to display an impressively varied "encyclopedic" collection, although as the buildings that house it have developed over the years, parts of the collection, notably including American and contemporary art, are less than favorably displayed and the circuitous traffic pattern can be difficult to navigate--and yes, this was the case well before the current massive construction reportedly intended to integrate their receipt of the late lamented Higgins Armory Museum collection. The European painting galleries manage to present a chronological review of painting traditions from early Italian gold leaf panels to works from the early twentieth century. There are several works by better known artists, ranging from a fine panel by Piero di Cosimo to canvases by J.S. Sargent, and many important artistic traditions are well represented, even if not necessarily by their foremost practitioners, although some of the works are hung so high, with such indifferent lighting, that they can be difficult to see. There is a fine medieval French chapter house permanently reinstalled off the Renaissance courtyard whose own floor is particularly noteworthy for its fine Roman mosaic, a relic from an earlier time when the Museum engaged in archeological endeavors. WAM also offers multiple rooms devoted to arts of Asian cultures. There is a regular program of special exhibitions, which in recent years have ranged from an extensive loan display of Rembrandt etchings to an installation from their own storerooms of several fine European tapestries, although the later would have benefited from more detailed and thoughtful labels. The WAM also has a long history of art educational endeavors to which an entire building is dedicated. For a time some years ago they had a very pleasant restaurant with table service, sadly long gone. Free parking is located across the street, but although technically accessible, the museum can be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

Very clean museum with many interesting pieces of art. I highly recommend visiting if you are in the Worcester area.

Interesting place to visit in Worcester. Although it is not comparable to MFABoston, it still has many good collections.

Worcester Art Museum is a cultural gem that truly impresses with its variety and quality. The exhibits are beautifully curated, covering everything from classical to contemporary art. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for exploring at your own pace and appreciating every gallery. The staff is friendly, and the attention to detail throughout the museum is outstanding. A must-visit for art and history lovers alike.

Very beautiful place. I always go there for hiking—about 1-2 hour. Have different kind of beauties in different seasons. There is always someone camping I the mountain. I guess you don’t want to bother them.
Super T — Google review
Very cute little place! The farm is a Perfect spot to bring young kids. And you can’t beat the fact that it’s free!! There is a playground right across from it and there’s also a lovely pond with a walkway and fountains at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Lots of parking.
Katie L — Google review
This is the most beautiful public park in the town. Extraordinarily beautiful landscape with walking trail, playground, petting zoo, golf course and a camping site add an extra glory to this park. Playground for kids is not that great but the huge park does its job.
Suraksha H — Google review
What a gem. Free parking. Free to use. Free mini animal farm/Zoo area. There's a Veterans Memorial area, lots of walking and exploring, hiking trails. This is great for all ages.
Margaret H — Google review
Though the playground isn't great we absolutely love coming to walk by the water and see the animals! Wish the animal area was open more hours than it is as that makes it difficult to visit as often as my daughter asks to, but maybe that will change in the future.

This park is my favorite park ever.💕 I always took my day off to go to this park to take a photo 🥳 Dog & kid friendly. It really the perfect park for hiking too 💃💕

The American Antiquarian Society, established in 1812 by publisher Isaiah Thomas, is a national research library and learned society located near the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. The collection contains over 3 million items, including rare manuscripts and weighty tomes dating back to 1876. It is renowned for safeguarding America's printed legacy for over two centuries. A real gem of an institution in Worcester for researchers and scholars. AAS has one of the nation’s largest and most important collections of pre-1900 newspapers. Five specialized areas of print/graphic media and area of inquiry, each with a separate curator. As of summer, 2024, the facility is undergoing major facade reconstruction and window replacement, but completely operational.
Paul N — Google review
I have been familiar with the AAS for about 5 years. This is a great, great, great library and museum. Historic "everything" can be available both on line and in person. The AAS is a treasure in our own back yard.

I think this is a great museum! I loved the touchscreens where I could select artifacts to examine more closely. The replica diner area was fun; even for adults! There’s a lot of hidden gems throughout the museum. I highly recommend checking it out.

I've been here at the Worcester Historical Museum 5 times in the pasted few years, with family this is a beautiful Museum dedicated to our wonderful amazing City of Worcester MA! The reason that brought us in to go to the Worcester Historical MA this pasted Tuesday 8-16-22 , was that my 96 year old Grandfather is coming to visit from Florida with my 94 year Grandmother, we wanted to get him the the wicked cool black tee- shirt that ("say's all the different ways you can Pronounce WORCESTER ")! I'd gotten one a few years ago pior, my grandfather lived in Worcester MA, many years ago. So this shirt has some meaning behind it. This Museum is a great place to go to with young children and adults . It was (FREE Admission ) for us to enter if Im correct It's been (" FREE Admission since Middle of July till the End of August 2022") ,this is another part of celebrating Worcester 300th Tercentennial . Also, during the entire month of February they usually run " FREE " Admission because the kids that are in the Worcester Public schools are on February vacation! Great time to go too! A few things did change, I'd noticed that a few things were up & running at the Museum! Not many people there when we were there.
Tyler W — Google review
Note: I was only here to conduct research in the library, so I saw very little of the exhibit space. What I did see, though, was very well done and the city of Worcester should be proud of its museum. The library staff were, to a person, helpful and accommodating, and took an interest in my research goals. I hope to be back in the near future to continue working with these folks!
Jonathan T — Google review
Such an adorable museum! Was a great way to pass the time while waiting for an event downtown to start and a great way to learn about the history of the town I was visiting (as someone living outside of Massachusetts). Ellen was super polite and informative about everything!

The director and marketing on WBUR was fantastic. Her delivery, knowledge, and passion for this museum was text book. She delivered the interview effortlessly. A rare talent that is. As a retired radio broadcaster I know what it takes. Cheers!

Mass Audubon's Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center and Wildlife Sanctuary, located in Worcester, is the second largest urban wildlife sanctuary in New England. The sanctuary offers well-marked trails suitable for easy to moderate hikes through 400 acres of marshes, streams, and fields. Visitors can enjoy birdwatching and encounter various species while exploring the clean and well-maintained trails. The property also features a visitor center and provides a relaxing outdoor experience for families with young children.
Barbra J Walker annual Butterfly festival. Was excellent! Fantastic displays from the caterpillar people.. was awesome to see many different types of trees with actual caterpillars on them. Each display had its own que card w type of caterpillar and what Butterfly it would turn into. Also the gentleman who was showing the caterpillars via microscopes was truly amazing. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, it was difficult to not want to stay there for hours listening to him and and watching all the various caterpillars and larve with bees in them. Was quite fascinating. Learned a lot. Fun free activities and crafts for the kids. Including face paint. I think my favorite craft was the cute " animated" caterpillar on leaf. Very creative. Very knowledgeable vendors too. From " ask a gardener" to awareness about better environmental pesticides or how to get rid of mice/ rats etc without harsh chemicals that also kill the various other species that feed on them. Was a good gathering of knowledgeable folks. The grounds themselves are lovely and great for hiking abd viewing all kinds if wildlife and butterflies & insects ect.. Fun woodsy play area for kids as well as lots of benches and swings to just hang back and admire nature and surroundings. Was kinda magical imo.. Definitely would return even for a non event to walk the grounds.

The largest Mass Audubon reserve in Massachusetts with several walking/hiking trails, visitor center and separate education building. Worcester residents are provided free admission with ID. All others - admission as member or payment of a modest admission fee. The visitor center is one of the better equipped in the Mass Audubon network, including having on hand wheel chairs and an all terrain walker for individuals who may need them. Trails are well marked and maps are provided at all trail heads. Good venue for families. The trails are not suitable for jogging. Families with young children/carriages and physically challenged individuals should consult the trail map before setting out from the visitor center as some of the trails are less suitable for them.
Paul N — Google review
A large and scenic conservation area with a handful of easy to walk trails. Great place to go for a short walk or birding. Most of the trails are flat and the broadwalks make it accessible for those in a wheelchair. There are a few play areas for children. The location also hosts events and educational activities.
Samantha D — Google review
A gem in the middle of Worcester-makes you feel like civilization is miles away (I saw a mom and baby deer at 11am right off the trail) The trails are well maintained and marked and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Fayth — Google review
We had a few hours to occupy while our dog was having surgery at Tufts. We found this conversation & wildlife center and checked it out. This is a terrific place to take a walk in nature. There’s plenty of parking and there’s a visitor center. The trails are well maintained and the walking is pretty easy… no hills to speak of. They have trail maps and there’s maps posted along the way. We saw quite a few birds of different species. It was a very relaxing enjoyable time. Besides that it serves a great purpose.
Bradley T — Google review
This place is very well maintained by Audobon society. Trails are clean and well marked with nice big signs and directions. Due to tall trees all around, it can get dark here quite early in the evening, so be aware of that. To explore this property you can either take membership of Audobon society and then you can explore multiple properties within state of MA for free. Or alternatively you can put some donations in the donation box at the main walking entrance of property. We went there today and one main trail was closed due to flooding, but clear signs were posted about it. Plenty of well marked parking lot. We enjoy our peaceful walks each visit here.
Ganju420 — Google review
Established in 1990, it s located in the headwater region of the Blackstone River Watershed. It boasts to be the largest urban wildlife sanctuary in New England. You can do bird watching, bird photography, picnic, kids play , trails. There are wooden benches to sit and relax on the way. In the nature play area, the wooden swing is placed right at the location that gives you a feel as if you are in your private garden. On the Saturday afternoon of May, it had good number of visitors but the calmness prevailed. Parking is limited but seems to be sufficient.

Libraries
The Worcester Public Library is a serene and modern space that offers a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds. It's known for its spacious and well-lit facilities, making it an ideal spot for reading, studying, or simply unwinding. The library has gained recognition as the adopted hometown of Taylor, the first recognized Black sportsman who made significant achievements in professional cycling during the late 19th century.
Library updated 2021-2022: Brand new look. See my photos and then look at the other review photos and compare This place is awesome. The sign outside is colorful. Pictures: The inside from Franklin St side to the parking lot side. Magazines and newspapers section, Digitizing Room, a table with a puzzle to put together in the middle of the floor, the stand up computers that are 15 minutes sessions now have tall chairs, the Young Adult 11-17 area changed into an Innovation Room (Sewing and crafts) and the Young Adult area moved down a little ways, the DVD and video games section to borrow them has turned into a huge Young Adult room since the last Young Adult room that was next door to where it is now was too small, the DVD and video games section was too small so it got put across the room where the old side door was and the side door got put on at Franklin St side of the building, the Store moved next to the DVD area, the second floor remains the same, the 3rd floor remains the same in the front except the back if the room changed into a children’s center with activity on the touchscreen wall and a room off to the right side that is for art and crafts.

The Worcester Public Library has a lot of great things going for it. One of the highlights for me was their manga collection – it’s honestly awesome and I really enjoyed spending time reading through it. I also appreciate that they have a teen/young adult room. It’s nice to see a space dedicated to younger readers and students. However, I did have a negative experience with two of the staff librarians who were unfortunately quite rude. Their behavior made me feel very uncomfortable, which was disappointing. As someone who just wanted to enjoy the library and its resources, it didn’t feel fair to be treated that way. I hope that if the library staff sees this review, they’ll take some action or reflect on how they interact with visitors. Libraries should be welcoming, safe, and inclusive spaces for everyone. I really want to love this place fully, and I hope my next visit feels better.

Pretty good u can get what u need and the kids have games, computers, play place and a teen center. Problem is one of the ladies in the play place has an ego problem along with warden mentality. So play place with a lady that has an issue with kids playing. He was building a tower it fell and she felt that to be rough housing. Since then extremely rude. Went to check out she came in with attitude. I asked for another librarian and she lost her mind calling for security and manager. I asked her why she was yelling I just asked for another librarian. She said that's rude and hurtful. I told her she was yelling for no reason. I should be able to ask for another librarian without you losing ur mind. Reminder she's yelling in a kids area. Teen area is nice and had summer reading ready for the kids. Books were free to take home for summer reading. Adult area to many homeless and people high on drugs sleeping and hanging out in the bathrooms. Bathrooms not safe for kids.

We love the Worcester Public Library specially the children’s room and the librarians there. It feels more comfortable and secured with the security guards they now have. I dislike one of the supervisor there... she’s rude and I didn’t feel she was concerned with the issue I had. :/

Worcester Common is a vibrant outdoor urban space located in the heart of the city. It features park benches, food trucks, and hosts a farmers' market and live music events. The common is surrounded by impressive buildings and bustling businesses, with lush lawns adorned with important monuments and memorials. Established in 1669, Worcester Common has been an integral part of the city's history.
It’s a cool park. Not as close as what Boston Common is in terms of size and historical charm, but it’s a lovely public park located just behind Worcester City Hall, with a nice greenery in warmer months and an ice rink in colder months. It also has a memorial monument and an interesting statue. All around it’s a nice place to chill and have a picnic or walk your dog.

Worcester City Hall, a stunning Renaissance-style building dating back to 1898, is located in the heart of Worcester. The building's beautiful design and Christmas decorations make it a great spot for photography enthusiasts. Visitors can also enjoy art galleries in the hallways and take part in events at the nearby Worcester Common park. The welcoming atmosphere inside, with signs in various languages including Vietnamese, reflects the city's respect for different cultures.
Came down last night to participate in Mayor's Civics Clinic. Almost three hours listening to how the city's budget is derived and what's on the horizon of Worcester economic development.

Gorgeous Renaissance style building in the heart of Worcester opened in 1898. Loved walking around there taking pictures before tending to business inside, where I found staff very helpful.

A place that used to be beautiful to come with the family for a walk at night but it is no longer worth it. If you go at night you run the risk of being assaulted or something else happening since there are at least 60 drug users, an unbearable smell of urine, syringes, garbage, among other things. Not worth the total filth.

Honestly, everyone is so polite and helpful here that it seems like a movie. City Halls in other cities are horrible, but here is like that is so welcoming. Love it. It's hard nowadays to find good customer service 😕

Clark University is one of the institutions in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a student population of 35,000. It is known for providing excellent opportunities for students to grow both inside and outside the classroom. The university focuses on offering a top-notch education experience and encourages undergraduates to engage in research. Many students have found Clark University to be an ideal place for personal and academic growth, with professors dedicated to providing the best educational experience.
Beautiful campus with a warm welcome for incoming students and families.

I had some very abusive professors. People outright didn't believe I'm an immigrant because of my excellent English, what irony. They didn't even get my name right during graduation (called me by a woman's name). Imagine being laughed at, at your own graduation by these woke hypocrites. Despite being born in a foreign country and growing up bilingual, one of the deans told me, literally, "X [my ethnic background] or whatever is not a real country" and I was forced to take a foreign language. I couldn't believe it, and this was back in the mid 2010's. I was discriminated against, judged, and treated as subhuman because of my gender and background. A handful of good professors, but they all left.

Why You Should Reconsider Clark University: Must Read I graduated from Clark University in December 2023. This is my second time posting a review; the first one was removed. Here’s why I believe students, especially international ones, should think twice before choosing Clark: No Career Support or Campus Placements: Clark does not offer any structured placement support. No major companies come to campus to hire students, and the university makes no effort to follow up with graduates on their employment outcomes. The few companies that do visit are often local insurance firms hiring for commission-based sales roles—far from what international students expect when making a significant financial and personal investment to study in the U.S. Overcrowded Classes: Some MS-STEM classes have over 60 students, with more than 90% from India, limiting diversity and cross-cultural learning. Imagine the kind of international school environment you can expect from a business university with such limited representation. Inexperienced Faculty: Many instructors are recent MS graduates themselves, with little to no teaching experience. Biased Grading: I gave honest feedback in a course evaluation and received a noticeably lower grade, which felt retaliatory. Pre-Recorded Lectures: Several courses are offered as pre-recorded videos, not live sessions. Many students come to the U.S. expecting in-person academic engagement, not to watch recorded content. Safety Concerns: The surrounding neighborhood regularly sees incidents of gunfire, robbery, and other safety issues. It does not feel like a secure environment to live or study in. High Cost: Even with a scholarship, tuition is still significantly higher than that of better-ranked public universities like Texas Tech. Poor Classroom Environment: Facilities are basic. The furniture and classroom setup feel more like a budget training center than a graduate-level university. Safety Concerns: The neighborhood has frequent incidents of gunfire, robbery, and other safety risks. It doesn’t feel like a secure place to live or study. Alumni Outcomes Speak Volumes: If you're considering Clark, check the LinkedIn profiles of recent international graduates. Many are either unemployed or working in fields unrelated to their studies, clear evidence of weak career support and outcomes. This is my honest experience, and I’m sharing it so future students can make an informed decision. If this review is removed again, I will continue to repost it. No student should come to the U.S. full of dreams, only to be let down by a university that overpromises and underdelivers.
Dilshad S — Google review
Campus is lovely. Students committed to improving the city and the world around them. A curriculum that moves across disciplines allowing students to engage with academics more personally. Write. Write. Write. We just want more of it here within the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. This cannot be overstated.
Jj S — Google review
Indoctrination center with Orwellian culture. Low educational rigor. Go to a STEM focused university, coding boot camp, learn a trade, or just start working. It used to be good (as indicated by the older reviews) but Clark has fallen and is now actively working to make the world a worse place
Daniel B — Google review
I vibed well with Clark. I visited the campus a few times, hung out with "Clarkies" and applied (& got in), BUT, I was VERY "small LAC" focused in my college endeavors. Therefore, I was gravitating less towards universities at the time I was applying to schools as an undergraduate. I did like Clark though, but in the end, Hampshire College in Amherst won out. It was more: "academically flexible" then a LOT of the other places I'd looked at and applied to, and Clark fell into that more: "academically traditional" category. Clark has a VERY NICE campus though. Worcester isn't my favorite place in MA overall; and I felt the Amherst/Northampton area was a nicer placer to go to college (and to potentially live in after graduation); so it won me over.
Ben S — Google review
To be fair, this is the best school I've ever got to know well, and I've known quite a few schools, including some highly regarded ones that get their stellar ranking by focusing on growing endowments and grabbing the hottest research fellows whilst ignoring students' needs. Clark is the opposite of that; most professors are focused on providing the best education experience as well as providing undergrads with opportunities to engage in research. This is the school that has absolutely exceeded all my expectations.

Not one of the better complexes I've been to so far but still very nice . It has a baseball field ( all turf ) , soccer field ( turf ) and tennis courts. The fields itself are in very good shape but the grounds around it can be kept up better. Plus this is smaller than the ones I've been to. Good seats everywhere for viewing and the bathrooms are clean. Parking could be tough though it's a very crowded area

Mercantile Center Garage is a convenient parking option located near the BCU Center in Worcester. It is well-maintained and offers event parking at a reasonable rate. The garage is supported by various local organizations, making it a reliable choice for visitors attending events in the area.
Honestly, the garage was too complicated for us 65+ folks. All electronic, bar code scanning, internet based! It's confusing for us. Plus, it sreals jobs from humans.
Amy P — Google review
I attended an event at the DCU yesterday January 5th and used this garage for parking. When going somewhere with children it's nice to be in short walking distance, especially in winter, so I chose this garage as it was close by and affordable. I however, cannot say that after yesterday's experience I will ever be using it again or recommending it to others. I was alone with my two children and we sat in our car for over an hour trying to get out of the lot. Within that time we never even made it close to coming off level 5, I moved out of my spot and then just sat. I made my reservation with parking whiz which I have done in the past and typically you can use the reserved spots, however there wasn't any in this garage that I noticed. When entering the garage there were so many unavailable spots, us along with our friends in their car were on level 5. Many other families sat for over an hour unable to move and vacate the lot. I have never in my life seen something so unorganized and I have used parking in many other states. Families were leaving cars and going to dinner because children were getting so restless and upset. No one knew what the hold up was. People were leaving their cars to try and walk down and get a better look. I tried calling to see if anyone would answer the phones, I made three attempts and left a voicemail (I wasn't in a position to leave my car as I had two young children with me and I was alone) . Eventually because my children were so upset and I felt like this was creating an unsafe environment as people were rightfully so getting frustrated. I called a Lyft and we were taken home by that. Which in turn cost me more money. When we made it down to exit the garage there were 3 attendants. So I mentioned that I was taking a Lyft home because I hadn't moved in over an hour and that it was still very chaotic up there. They laughed it off and said oh really? My friends stayed and it was another 30/40 minutes before they got out. So I would not use this lot again and I wouldn't recommend it unless they make some changes. There is no reason there can't be a better flow of traffic existing the garage. We were other people who used the different garages and none of them had a similar experience.

Their QR code, when scanned with a QR code reader will direct you to a fraudulent website!!! That website charged my card twice in the span of 30 minutes. The first charge was for $1.95, the second for $39.95. I only noticed upon leaving, when the parking attendant told me that I hadn’t paid for parking. I took my phone to show him, and he said that was not their site. He was aware of the issue, and simply stated that I had to use my camera, not the QR code reader. Really?!!! How on earth was I supposed to know that! I had cancel my card, but I’m not sure Citibank will refund the $41. I wonder how much any subsequent charge would have been!
Barbara S — Google review
Don’t ever even think of parking here for an event. It will take you well over an hour just to get into the garage and find a parking spot. They leave hundreds of spots wide-open that you have to drive by and cannot park in. Absolutely one of the most atrociously and poorly run garaged in Worcester during events at DCU

Convenient yes. Posting to get anywhere fail. Didn't know you can get to the restaurant from parking garage 3 through a black door. The door says nothing on it. So how tf are your suppo supposed to know. Also, then I was just there ir said free parking and yet got charged$12.00. TF!

Perrone Landscaping is a well-established company that has been providing landscaping services for the past 18 months. They offer a range of services including mowing, spring and fall yard clean-up, and shrub pruning. Customers have expressed satisfaction with their work, praising the friendly and polite crew who are reliable and responsive. The company's billing system is also appreciated for its convenience.
I engaged Perrone Landscaping back in late winter to discuss options to bring my neglected lawn back to life after years of trying to nurse a “builders lawn”. Tom came by and had a look around, heard what I was looking for and quickly provided an estimate to do the work. The first visit was to cut down two large trees and then a few smaller ones and then prune the trees around the perimeter so the future lawn would get plenty of sun. The team did an amazing job, working close to 12 hours straight and left everything looking great and thoroughly cleaned up! The second visit was another 12 hour day, scraping the top few inches and removing it, adding loam and grading everywhere, planting shrubs and flowers around my new generator and then hydroseeding. Amazing job and again, didn’t leave until the cleanup was flawlessly done! Given the huge scope, the cost was very reasonable! I look forward to enjoying the lawn when it’s fully grown and healthy and will definitely be partnering with Perrone going forward!

Perrones is one of the most unprofessional companies I’ve worked with. No single site manager regularly supervised the work site, owner comes to the site obviously smelling of marijuana and unable to recall conversations, agreements, send me contracts, quotes or receipts for work done. His staff consistently complained to me and other people about the work they were doing. He pushed off my project and delayed my business opening three times even though I hired in March when they were not busy. As soon as other contracts came in, they pushed my project to the side. Has not completed numerous jobs even though I have paid in full amounting to over $80,000! Workers don’t even know what a ring nail is. Have had many mistakes done and after many chances to turn it around, I came to the conclusion that this company doesn’t have the capability to complete my project to my satisfaction. If you want your grass cut I’m sure this company is fine but for anything other than basic landscaping, they don’t have the experience or the accountability to manage larger projects even though they sold themselves as being a one stop shop for business’. I asked for rounded corners on my fencing, they left a pile of excess wood that I had to pay about $800 for to get removed after they accidentally cut my 10ft boards to 8 ft even though I had hundreds of 8ft boards for them to use. They did not grade all the paddocks to the specs I asked for, left cigarette butts everywhere and spread some gravel in the wrong path and wouldn’t redo it.

Perrone is contracted by Eversource to repair damage caused by their contractors, and to landscape the area following the work that Eversource completed. Their communication was abysmal. Despite being told multiple times not to do any work without meeting with me. They planted the wrong plant in the incorrect place. In addition, it took multiple phone calls to get a response. There are many terrific landscaping companies. This is NOT one of them.

I am so happy with the landscaping services I get from Perrone. I have a small yard with lots of gardens but am reaching an age where maintenance is difficult and, in some cases, impossible (can't kneel for more than 3 minutes!). The weekly mowing & edging keeps things looking good. I rely on the spring & fall clean-up to clean up sticks, leaves, etc. My absolute favorite service is the monthly gardening - what I call my concierge gardening service. It's like having my own private gardeners who weed & clear out what I want, do some pruning, etc. and leave my gardens looking wonderful. Just when I'm feeling overwhelmed by weeds or needing to deadhead perennials, you show up and do it for me!! I've told other people about this service and they are SO jealous. They can't believe I can get that service without having a private gardener. Your foremen know their plants and what they need so I feel confident that the wrong stuff isn't going to be taken out. And I keep some aggressive ground covers growing because they are better than some other weeds and your folks understand that. The work crew works the whole time they are here and do a great job in cleaning up. Please don't drop the monthly gardening service - it is WONDERFUL!! I'm looking forward to some fall pruning to help tame my healthy jungle.

Perrone is an outstanding landscaping company and the only one I will use or recommend in my area. When we first moved into our house they came out and helped us clean up the front treeline, identify invasive species, and fix our yard issues. In the 3 years since I have had them out here on numerous occasions for different jobs/estimates. They are always polite and knowledgeable. My lawn couldn't look better and their advice is always well put. The front office is amazing as well. Super polite and always returning calls. 10/10 would recommend!

We've been using Perrone Landscaping for the past 5 years, and we've been very pleased with their work. They make very good suggestions about what work will be best to keep our trees, shrubs, plants, and grass looking good. Jeff is especially helpful in planning what work should be done, and the people who come to do the work are polite and hard-working. I highly recommend Perrone to anyone who wants to get excellent work done for a not overly high price.

My review of this place is that for starters the fruits the only type of fruits that he had it was apples and I cannot complain about the apples a lot of them they were very delicious and I can say for farm apples I always enjoyed for my post because the farm apples you always got different sizes but you know that's basically the basic brine just apples other than that you don't get no more choices on fruits vegetables well you have very basic and basic like horn tomatoes green peppers red peppers jalapenos and basically you know the little basic of other stuff like garlic and stuff small stuff but you knowyou had to go through the other stuff of what you really like but on top of that you don't have a lot of options and it's very tricky to pick what you really like and I wish they had more options that's the reason I give it three stars I wish I could give it more because for a farm I would have thought they had more stuff expression for fruits and vegetables but hey you only could get what you only could get hopefully next year for the next harbins probably you could get more options will see but if you want to take a chance give it a chance but hopefully you get better chances that I did but I cannot forget the pumpkin not bad and for another information you also got to be careful about those other settlers they would try to sell you a vegetable that is already getting to be expired they're soft to the touch and you can tell they're about to be rotten and did not good so that would do anything to try to sell it to you for the cheapest if they could sell it for they can get it out of their hands and into yours so please the best thing you could do is check touch look smell doesn't hurt to do that and if they don't like it then guess what don't buy it

Elm Park, a historic 60-acre public park established in 1854, has recently undergone a significant renovation, making it an ideal destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The park features reconstructed bridges, tennis and basketball courts, as well as winter skating opportunities. With landscaped walking paths, a playground, and a pond crossed by iconic footbridges on the east side of the park, Elm Park offers picturesque settings for picnics and leisurely strolls.
Beautiful urban park in the local historic district of Worcester that bears its name. This was the first park in the US where land was purchased expressly for the purpose of establishing a park for the public. While not a very large area, the ponds and pathways create a very pleasant and restful environment. Plenty of seating and a very nice area for children to play. Accessible for physically handicapped — wheelchair and walker friendly (except for the two bridges - but those don’t need to be crossed in order to enjoy the park).

The Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans Memorial, dedicated in 2002, is a serene and moving tribute to the residents of Massachusetts who served during the Vietnam War. Set in Worcester's Green Hill Park, this four-acre memorial features beautifully tended gardens, a peaceful pond, and numerous benches for reflection. The entrance is adorned with granite etchings of letters written by servicemen, while the exit displays the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
A dignified and poignant memorial to the dead and veterans of the Vietnam War. One of the most thoughtful and beautifully conceived war memorials I have ever visited. Letters from soldiers who perished set in stone tell their story better than anyone else could.

Beautiful park and memorial! The monument is located on one side with a list of those who died serving our country etched into four different pillars. There is a nice lake to walk around with pillars on the opposite side displaying letters written by soldiers in the war to their families back home. They also have a memorial dedicated to the service dogs and their handlers. The landscape is beautiful and there are walking trails surround the park. It is a gorgeous place to just sit and enjoy nature or to walk around and take pictures. It is very peaceful. My children like going to enjoy the wildlife roaming freely through the park. There is also a free "zoo" located right up the street walking distance from the memorial.

One of my favorites places to go in the summer ☀️

Upon reading the reviews, I've discovered that I had failed to pay the parking fee while visiting the Quinsigamond State Park... It was the middle of night and there wasn't anybody to take my parking money. Anyways, there was a very good view of the bridge across Lake Quinsigamond to the south of the park. The bridge was lit beautifully at night. There were also some houses on the other side of the lake that made for some pretty night shots across the lake. There was a sandy area, but I didn't really get a chance to go on the sand since the park was so dark at night. There seems to be plenty of street parking available nearby, so if you're just trying to get some exercise at the park, consider parking for free in the nearby small streets.

Did kayaking multiple times here , nice lake , parking is 8$ which is high as not much to explore but good sailing point within reach

Great place to have a picnic, there are grills for use. Parking is close to picnic area. Also the beach is great. You can rent kayaks and explore the area or just go for a swim. We had 30 people there and we all were able to sit and socialize easily.

Cascading Waters, located at 4 Ash St in Worcester, is a natural oasis offering wooded trails, open meadows, and a picturesque waterfall. Spanning 157 acres, this destination provides opportunities to observe wildlife and explore vernal pools during the spring. The area's winding trails make it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors.
Beautiful park and cascades right in Worcester! We love that with a couple minute drive there is this glorious park. Great walking trails, the views of the cascades all is a must when you are in the area. Worth the time to see!

Looks like they have a number of trails you can go up on and even a few locations you can park. The GPS brought me in at the bottom entry that had a little bit of parking. Overall, I can see how this could be nice to check out. Unfortunately, the water was all dried up, and their was not Cascading Waters, just a dry creek bed. Even though it's has rained in the past few days on and off. Some of the potholes on the bridge were filled with water. The trail itself is very rocky. There are lots of protruding rocks that you can easily twist an ankle or trip over. It's kind of a hike up, which wasn't much of an issue, but you really have to pay attention to your footing. In the mosquitoes were absolutely horrible. So make sure you bring some off or some sort of repellent because they were just buzzing and swarming everywhere. I was really disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing the little waterfalls in running water. I didn't go all the way to the top just because it was disappointing

Cascade Waters, is a hidden gem for nature lovers. The park boasts beautiful cascading waterfalls and well-maintained trails, perfect for a peaceful hike. Managed by the Greater Worcester Land Trust, this spot offers a serene escape with picturesque views, especially rewarding after a rainfall. Living nearby, I've made it a habit to hike there often since discovering this tranquil oasis. The trails are suitable for all skill levels, and the natural beauty of the area never fails to impress.

HIDDEN GEM ALERT It's super close to wpi and such a nice hike. We had a hike and a small picnic here and it was a lot of fun. Very clean and perfect for new hikers. There is a bit of a steep climb!

We recently discovered this park and have visited numerous times. The start of the hike is pretty steep for most (225 feet) but once you get to the top, it’s not bad. Not super crowded and a great place to let your dog run about.

Did the blue trail then used the white trail to get back to the falls.. No water was cascading this day...good hike still
Curt M — Google review
This was my first time going hiking and I liked it. I didn’t like the bugs but I liked the walk. We definitely got lost but eventually found our way around by just fallowing the blue tree stamps and hoping we are going to get out soon. My puppy loved it and she recommends 100%.
