Nestled in the heart of Blackstone Valley, the Blackstone Valley 14 Cinema de Lux offers a modern cinematic experience with its state-of-the-art digital projection and sound systems. This multiscreen venue is perfect for movie enthusiasts looking to catch the latest blockbusters in style. While enjoying films like "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" or "Godzilla," visitors can indulge in a wide array of snacks, drinks, and even cocktails from their bar.
The Showcase Cinema in Blackstone is a great choice for a movie night, especially given its location. It's incredibly easy to get to and offers plenty of parking. It's perfectly situated right at The Shoppes in Millbury, which makes it ideal for a full night out—you can enjoy some shopping and restaurants right before or after the show. For the ultimate experience, I highly recommend the XPlus room; the reclining seats are a fantastic feature. While general ticket and concession prices can feel a little high, the convenience and the premium options available make it worth the trip. Gave it 4 stars due to high pricing.

I’m not sure if there’s a GM on the floor or who exactly is in charge, but this movie theater is an absolute mess. The standards shouldn’t be this low. People are paying to see movies here, the least the staff and GM can do is keep the place clean. It’s absolutely unsanitary and unacceptable.
Zena H — Google review
My boyfriend and I like this theater a lot and we’ve been coming for over 2 years now. Some of the seats are uncomfortable, and others are very comfortable. That’s probably my only complaint about the actual theater itself. The reason I am giving this place only 2 stars is because I think the theater needs better security. It’s extremely expensive to see movies now and yet people buy tickets to sit in the theaters and talk, something they could do for free anywhere else. If the theater had proper security present, those people could be asked to either quiet down or leave. People shouldn’t have to constantly shush others for talking during a movie, it’s absolutely ridiculous. I went to see ‘Weapons’ last night and it was a packed theater. There were so many people just talking throughout the movie and it was very distracting. I’m not sure why people have no theater etiquette nowadays, but it’s 100% on the theater to do something about it!
Kaleigh D — Google review
Overall great place. Only has 3 stars mainly because of the lack of alcoholic drinks after 10pm and the seats in the back row. To give you context, my movie started at 10pm and I drove from Springfield, Massachusetts. I had a great time here. The management here is AMAZING. I asked for a manager and got the best service. She was nice and took care of my cousin and I who drove an hour away to get here. Thank you for a great experience. The seats in the back row of the theater have a weird angle and you actually miss out on what's on the bottom portion of the screen when fully reclining. I'm unsure why this is but it created a bad experience for my friends and I. Other than that, the place is extremely clean, professional, and beautiful. The food was great. Cannot complain at all. Plus there were meal deals here which is always a plus. I wish alcohol was served with it but unfortunately alcohol was not an option as they were closed after 10pm.

Who wants to spend $50 dollars for a movie and some popcorn. With all the streaming options. If this cinema wants to gain more customers. They need to lower prices and allow the public to rent for events. If they don't lower prices and find different events to get patrons through the door. They will close their doors sooner than later.
Eddy B — Google review
I attended the Sept 7 showing of Hamilton. I was astonished that some patrons felt it was their right to loudly sing throughout the movie from beginning to end, and act out many of the scenes, with total disregard for other patrons who came to listen to the actors in the movie, not them. Many times it was very difficult to hear the actors over these offensive, loud, off-key singers. I overheard numerous people complaining about this while walking out of the theatre. I'm asking that your theatre address this lack of respect. I would recommend separate labeled showings, labeled for the sing alongs, and labeled for theatre patrons wanting to watch & listen quietly to only the movie. I had never seen Hamilton before and I thought it was wonderful. Unfortunately it was a truly disappointing experience due to the loud disruptive overbearing patrons singing. If you take my suggestion regarding labeling and having separate showings, I would definitely attend again and give the experience the 5 stars it deserves. Thank you.
Carole G — Google review
It's a nice cinema due to its close proximity. It could use some updates including the seats and cleanliness. Overall, it's still a great place to watch a movie and eat some food.
Jeffrey F — Google review
Had a good experience. We ordered a big popcorn serving and watched our movie(Godzilla) in cinema 14. Went here with friends. There was no crowd, had to wait a little bit at the food lines. Would personally bring my own food as the food was a bit overpriced. An overall fun place to go. Staff is also friendly.

Polar Park in Worcester is a fantastic sports venue that offers a variety of events and activities for families. The park hosts special events like the trick or treat Halloween event, where kids can take pictures with mascots, participate in costume contests, and enjoy raffles and candy stations. The park also offers game day tickets at reasonable prices. Visitors can expect clean facilities and an energetic atmosphere during games, with over 9,000 attendees creating an exciting experience.
It is a very clean park with plenty of vendors to choose from. The lines move fast and it is easy to get in and out of. The pricing of tickets is highly reasonable for an event today. I'm looking forward to going to a night game with fireworks here. Parking here for me was easy. I parked at the Pearl Elm Garage and walked down Main Street to Chandler St. I don't know what parking is like near the park.
Jeff B — Google review
While the whole experience at the ballpark gets a 5 star rating, the parking gets a 1 star. Ben advised that there isn't a lot of parking around here unless you park on a street a decent walk away. The price they wanted for parking was stupid. Nice ballpark though and they were packed for a Saturday night game. Prices for seats were fair and a lot of general admission seating available. They won the game, so that was an added bonus.

Probably the best little Ballpark ⚾️ I have ever been to. Woo Sox triple A team is fun inexpensive and easy to get in and out of. This is a nice place to spend an evening or afternoon with the family. 😎🍿

As far as stadiums go this one is a champ. So well organized, staffed and designed. We went for both a baseball game and a disc golf event and it was spectacular!! Can’t wait for my next time at polar park!

Polar park is a beautiful, well kept stadium for our Worcester Red Sox. They are always doing extra stuff like fireworks after dark and run around the bases to encourage participation from little kids, and to promote a family friendly atmosphere. I enjoy the cheap tickets and well paced games, and I am always excited to come back for another game or event.

What a wonderful park! As my sister said when we were watching the game, "There isn't a bad seat in the house". Clean, open, and beautiful. The food is delicious and with lots of variety. The staff is friendly and helpful. Fantastic!

Great place to watch a game. Free shuttle to take you from parking areas to stadium and back. Good sightlines and very enjoyable atmosphere. Food is decent and prices are high but not ridiculous. Staff friendly and helpful.

Wonderfully done. The waitress was fantastic. They have great teams and anyone is willing to pitch in to support you! The food was very good. The fish a chips was cooked beautifully. Flaky crust on the fish was amazing. Shrimp were great the cocktail was strong but yummy.

A great place to go out with family or friends. We tried many different tapas, and they were all well prepared and fresh. Would most highly recommend the Pork Belly and the Mozzarella Croquettes, which come with a delicious pesto aioli. Outdoor seating is spacious and relaxing. Service is quick and happily accommodated our time crunch. Looking forward to returning!

Great service but food was middle of the pack. The rice could use some heat and little more seasoning. The potatoes were okay. Everything tasted like it wasn’t freshly made. Good spot not great. Would recommend if you want something casual with friends. Servers are excellent and accommodating. Atmosphere depending where you are sat is nice. The price is not worth it, for most, but they serve massive portions.

Great we will definitely return! Food was rich and the server made a great suggestion and supported my wife and my dining needs for the evening. We left full and satisfied!

Great tapas stop! We stopped in to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was delicious. The 4 person tasting option was great (even with 5 people we had plenty of food), I’d recommend that options for a group interested in getting try a good amount of the menu.

We are glad this place remains a Worcester jewel after almost a decade! The food is great! Though, the fried goat cheese with honey used to be a bit better.

My first visit and we had a wonderful experience here! Wonderful vibe, the server was full of knowledge and answered lots of our questions and made some great suggestions. The option to have a set price for an appetizer, selection of tapas, and a paella was fantastic. The food came out one by one, we never felt rushed and never really wait around. Everything was very good, well seasoned, and cooked properly. We also had some great cocktails, everything on the menu was fresh. We'll absolutely be back... We may have found a new date night spot!
Ryan S — Google review
Let's just start with Anna, our server, who was welcoming, helpful and attentive. We were seated promptly on a Monday evening. Location is easy to get to but the entrance to the validated parking lot ($4 for the duration of our meal) is not directly across from the restaurant. The parking lot entrance is on Harding St. We had three diners who were pretty hungry and told that the bocado experience for two would be more than enough food (choose 2 charcuterie and queso • choose 4 tapas and small paella –OR– 6 tapas • churros y chocolate) and that was definitely true. The standout dishes were the fried goat cheese with honey, bread, jamon de serrano, smoked almonds, braised beef brisket, and seafood paella. Probably won't order the patatas asada, the braised pork belly or the churros again - not bad just not something I would order again. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Restaurant
One Eleven Chop House is a celebrated steakhouse located in Worcester, Massachusetts. It has been consistently recognized as the city's top steakhouse and fine dining establishment, known for its quality, presentation, and flavor. The restaurant boasts an elegant setting with white-tablecloth dining, beautiful wood paneling, antique art posters, and knowledgeable waitstaff. Always a delight. An exceptional dining experience every time. We make it a routine to go at least once every restaurant week. It’s always one of my favorite experiences of the year! The bang bang shrimp from 111 is one of my favorite appetizers in the world!

Grabbed dinner with friends tonight and this is the best dining experience I have had in the Worcester area. Not only was the food delicious but the service was impeccable. We had the pleasure of having Brody, Patty, and Lia as our servers. They were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of at every point in our dining experience. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and wow, I seriously cannot recommend it enough. My friends got the Mac and cheese which was fantastic and a side of fries which were so crispy and delicious. They even had cute little glass ketchup bottles to dance our fries into. Would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful meal here last night. Absolutely up to any chop house standards and the Tomahawk Ribeye was killer. We were very impressed with all of the staff. Jen and Pat our servers were everything you could ask for. The entire staff and the way the restaurant runs was so impressive. Would recommend everyone interested in a high end meal give them a chance.

At One Eleven Chophouse, the evening began with a Pear Blossom mocktail — a subtle yet vibrant mix of pear purée, lemon juice, Fever-Tree elderflower tonic, and vanilla bean. Its balanced sweetness and fragrant floral notes made it an instant favorite, enough to warrant an encore with the main course. The lobster bisque set a high bar: velvety, luxurious, and brimming with generous pieces of lobster. It was the kind of starter that doesn’t just warm the palate but heightens expectations. Then came the lobster croquettes — a playful indulgence. Crisp on the outside, molten within, they packed a lush blend of lobster and cream cheese. The sherry cream sauce, rich and aromatic, added an extra layer of decadence that made them impossible to share. The centerpiece of the night: a 6-ounce A5 Japanese Kagoshima Wagyu sirloin. Each bite delivered that signature melt-in-your-mouth experience, paired thoughtfully with a crisp garden salad, and silky creamed spinach. It was a study in both texture and restraint — indulgent without being overbearing. Service was seamless, thanks to Nicole’s attentiveness and John’s timely support. The kind of hospitality that makes everything on the plate shine just a bit brighter. #foodie #finedining #restaurant

We really enjoyed our dinner at One Eleven Chop House. The food and service were incredible. I ordered peppercorn crusted steak which was wonderful! To note, there is a fantastic port selection and the prices are very fair!

This was our first visit! My fiancé and I came in for an early dinner to celebrate our engagement! The food was incredible!!! Alexa and Kaitlin were awesome! Friendly attentive and gave really good recommendations that didn’t disappoint. We started with a half dozen oysters, clams casino, and their firecracker sushi. I got the NY strip Au Poivre with Mac and cheese and Brussels. Plus their burrata salad and my fiancé had the ribeye with glazed carrots and garlic mashed. There wasn’t a single item that we didn’t like and we will definitely be back in the future. Cheers

Pomir Grill

Afghan restaurant
Pomir Grill is a unique Afghan restaurant located in Worcester, MA. It offers traditional Afghan dishes, including vegan options and desserts, served in a relaxed atmosphere where you can bring your own beverages. The restaurant prides itself on using recipes passed down through generations and cooking techniques that have been used for thousands of years. The interior is tastefully decorated with clean and spacious seating arrangements. While the food may take some time to be prepared, the quality and taste make it worth the wait.
Pomir Grill is an authentic Afghan cuisine, which I don’t see much anywhere, especially in suburbs, quite interesting! They say that they make their dishes with recipes passed down from generation to generation, and techniques used for thousands of years. How cool is that! The inside is not very large, but spacious with tables spread apart, giving good amount of personal space in between. All of their tables had clean and crisp white tablecloths and a bright red flower. They did a great job creating a very nice and sophisticated atmosphere. I heard they have a really awesome Naan, so we asked for that first. The first round of Naan is complimentary, and comes with three sauces. Good amount of Naan came in a basket, nice and hot. And yes, it was really great, and it disappeared fast... We ordered Lamb Kabob and another one ordered Beef Sampler. They both came with side salad and choice of rice. It was generous portion, really plentiful. It was packed with flavor, the meat was juicy and tender, and rice was really great too. My goodness it was so delicious, we finished off the plate clean with no issue. We decided to push our luck with desserts. We ordered Afghan style Baklava. Two pieces came which was a nice surprise, and my goodness they were amazing! We were pretty full from the main dishes, but this one was gone within few minutes. We also ordered three scoops of Pista Sheer Yaakh (Pistachio Ice Cream). The ice cream was really rich and creamy. It was like velvet, and I think they add condensed milk to their ice cream, providing deeper, sweeter flavor. I can see the reason why this is very popular. We had great dinner here, food was very flavorful and clean. Even though we were stuffed, we didn’t feel heavy. A really nice, fresh ingredients can do that! The service was quite slow, I think they are only two staffs on this day. I heard they are family owned and operated, so they might not have many staffs. But the food is totally worth it, I would love to go back again for more of their amazing food! Read my full review of the restaurant and food on my food blog, foodlovergirl.

The food at Pomir Grill is incredible and the vibe inside the restaurant is really cozy. The wait staff is really helpful with the menu and they have a great variety of options including for vegetarians. The only problem I had was the wait time in ordering, receiving our meal, and being able to pay the bill. I'm not sure if this was because it was a Friday night and they were busy or they didn't have enough people waiting the tables or they had someone call sick the day we were there, but the wait time between getting meals and seeing the waitstaff was long.

This was my first time trying afghani cuisine, and it was an amazing experience! The manager is really nice. The service is quick. I would highly recommend the lamb cooked in apricot sauce and the beef cooked in pomegranate sauce! The food is really delicious.

Wow! What great food. Very well seasoned and spiced food. Not spicy, but very well cook. It feels like you’re eating from home. The owner and his wife runs the place and that take good care of you when you go there to eat. Will definitely go back! My 1.5 LO loved the food too! I definitely recommend the lamb with rice and almond cake.

Food here is amazing. Flavors I have never experienced before. Presentation is amazing. Staff is friendly. You need to make reservations though as they are usually full. They are BYOB. They were kind and brought us a wine opener and some wine glasses for the bottle we brought in. I plan on coming back again to try more of their dishes.

I always leave one star behind for room of improvement but I should say this place is delish. We are not from the area but surely a great stop for dinner and there’s other beer rated restaurants in the area too. Very clean food to our palate

I really love this place!! I ordered the Shola and it was delicious!! Also, their bread and various sauces are really really good! The bread is warm, soft, and fresh and all three of the sauces are great. The place has a good atmosphere/ambience and it is very relaxing and makes you feel welcome. The family that owns this place is fantastic and they offer the absolute best service. They're super friendly, professional, and quick. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I highly recommend it to everyone 😁

Well, incredible! A number of options for both veg and non veg items (although more of non veg items). Parking is hard to find on weekday evenings, not sure about weekends. It's recommended to make reservations. It takes quite some time till the food finally comes to table, but the wait is well treated with an excellent taste, the flavor can be felt! The portions are good enough and all of us really liked it.

I was a little hesitant coming here since some friends had bad things to say about this place. But, I still like to try new places for myself and I’m glad I did. The decor with all the wood is much nicer than it was the Compass. The food was very good. I shared with my boyfriend the Caesar pizzette and fried ravioli bruschetta and both were really yummy! My friends enjoyed their food. One had the grilled cheese and tomato soup, one got just french fries. And I forget what the other person got. But everyone enjoyed their food. I got the sangria and it was okay, nothing spectacular. Everyone else had beers. There was also live music. We sat right next to it and it was nice that it wasn’t loud where we couldn’t hear one another. The sound was enough to listen and where you can talk. Plus, the woman singing had a gorgeous voice. I will definitely be back again!

Decent food, really nothing special though. I liked the pizza more than I thought I would, and the sandwiches were just fine, but there are plenty of better options for dinner in the area.

I popped in on the random and was glad to see they had vegan / vegetarian options on the menu. I got the veggie burger and side salad. Holy balsamic! The balsamic dressing was so good I could drink it. Lol I'm obsessed with salads and it was so simple but satisfying. The burger was good but kind of dry. It was still good though. I don't drink but still sat at the bar. The bartender was really pretty and nice! Business was slow because it was like rush hour but it made for fast service. Overall decent experience.

Classed up "bar food", good fries, with an enormous (and great) bar. All at reasonable prices. Had a good post-ballgame snack!

I liked this place. I'll first say the chicken tenders were bomb! Probably some of the best I had. Mind you, we went on a Wednesday night with barely anyone in the restaurant, so maybe the cook was able to take his time. We went on trivia night which was also fun. We got second place, which was a gift card for the restaurant. All in all, good food, decent atmosphere, friendly staff. We will be back.

Barbecue restaurant
Smokestack Urban BBQ is a no-frills restaurant in Worcester that offers South Carolina-style BBQ, shrimp 'n' grits, and fried pickles. Customers have enjoyed the generous portions of pulled pork and the local beer selection. The quick service and delicious food make it a great spot for pre-show dining. The location is convenient with ample parking even during snowy weather. The ribs and brisket are particularly praised for their smoky flavor, complemented by sides like Mac n cheese and barbecue beans.
Had a good time here in regards to food, atmosphere and beer. I really enjoyed my plate of pulled pork (it was enough for two people really) and the local beer selection was pretty good. Also we asked to have our fries come out earlier, and they put them in a separate metal container. There were a lot of fries in there! Finally they have 3 different bbq sauces at the table that are all very good. Definitely coming back!

I love BBQ. The sauces here are great! Wings were good.Brisket was a little dry. Ribs were tender. Very minimal smoke. Greens were awesome. Potato salad was awful. The shrimp PoBoy was over sauced and too much bread. Service was great!
Gail W — Google review
If I was to grade the food it was more like a C. The barbecue ribs and chicken had a spicy dry rub, however the meat was a bit dry on both. As if the food was made 2 or 3 days ago and just heated in a convection oven. I feel they may have been relying to heavily on their on the table sauces to make up for the lack of certain dryness and flavor. The staffing was really great. The decor is a subtle rustic southern Bbq place motif which was nice. Plenty of seating for a Friday evening dinner. But I guess lacking in Flavorful flare when it pertains to their bbq meats for the prices.

I'm not overly familiar with the Worcester dining scene, but was pleasantly surprised by Smokestack. The vibe, service, and food was tough to beat. The location is great and parking wasn't too difficult even with 6 inches of snow. Nice selection of beer and the BBQ rivals anything else in New England.

Nice restaurant split into three different areas. On the far right there's an open area for a outdoor bar with the bar on the inside right next to it and on your left when you walk in is the dining area. Both areas are available if you want to eat there the bar has more booths and bar stools while the dining room has more tables and is better if your with a group. Food is very good as well as staff and service.

I found everything on my plate to be perfectly flavored. Not overdone with salt and not underdone with flavor. I was pleased to find the pork was NOT dry which is the case at many of the places offering smoked meats. I loved the mac and baked beans too. There wasn't anything I did't like. Even the ambience was good. I visited with my children and the place was kid friendly.

Smokestack Urban BBQ was an unknown but after we left , it is know and will be revisited . Barbecue was on the excellent level ; brisket was delicious , ribs were meaty with nice smoke rings , pulled pork got good reviews and chicken was pretty good but a little on the skimpy side . Barbecue beans were excellent as was the potato salad (spicy) and cucumber slices ! All in all , it was a very good meal that we enjoyed ! Nice job Smokestack !

Accra Girls Restaurant is a cozy and intimate family-owned eatery located at 1280 Grafton St #1, Worcester, MA 01604. The staff is known for their warm hospitality and willingness to explain the various dishes on the menu. This charming establishment prioritizes children's meals by serving them first and adding playful rice shapes to make dining more enjoyable. The food itself boasts a delightful blend of spices that add flavor to each dish.
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Fairly small family owned restaurant and the waiter was very friendly and explained all the dishes. Brought out kids food first to get them going and had fun shapes for the rice. Food had a nice spice and very flavorful. I loved all of the dishes I tried. Piece of constructive criticism: I felt the waiter could have been a little more prompt when bringing out extra things like when I asked for more water or silverware.

This is what i paid $18 for 3 pieces of dried meat a container of dried rice and they said it came with a side of stew. That small container is supposed to be the side of strew. Were rude at first then they gave me another container of stew? for free after initially requesting another dollar I will try another spot in Worcester.

I drove from RI to Worcester, about 40 minutes drive because I was craving some good waakye, Jollof and Banku. All the food was delicious! My two toddlers who are very picky eaters demolished the jollof. I was not happy because they finished the rice I drove 40 minutes for! The young lady who took my order was very kind and prompt. I will definitely recommend this restaurant!

Convention center
Hockey club
DCU Center, located on Foster Street in downtown Worcester, is a versatile venue that serves as both a convention center and an indoor arena. With a seating capacity of approximately 12,000 people, it hosts various events including concerts, conventions, sporting events, trade shows, and family shows. The center has been the site of diverse activities such as hockey games, Disney on Ice performances, concerts and circus acts.
Saw Brand New in concert here. Was great sound and good view. Easy to navigate through and friendly staff. If I go again I'd try to park a little further from the center and walk, I parked in the lot across the street and it took a long time to get out.

I really wish I could give this venue more stars. I’ll start with the good. The food was not too bad and the parking is abundant and close. Where we ran into problems was when we sat down at our seats. My girlfriend bought these tickets a while ago we were very excited to see Sleep Token it’s one of our favorite bands. When we sat down at our seats we noticed we were under a part of the roof or upper level that stuck out, that’s not a big deal but we were not warned of that when the tickets were purchased. When it became a problem is when all the people in front of us stood up so we had to stand up we could only see a small portion of the stage. Once the music started and everyone was moving around we could only see a smaller portion of the stage. By the end of the show I was watching the singer on stage through a gap between someone’s arm and another person’s neck. We are very upset and this was our first show here. We have been to a handful of conventions at the DCU center and always had a great time. This has definitely put a sour taste in our mouths and we definitely are going to think twice before spending hard earned money on tickets here again.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to the DCU. Went to see Dude Perfect with my daughter and had a blast! Only reason it’s 4 stars is because they don’t have the capacity or staffing to serve food and drinks. Intermission time was a log jam and during the show the lines were very long as well. The merch team for DP was an oiled machine! Will go back for another event. Definitely recommend, just know to plan time for concessions.
Seth C — Google review
This place wasn't as large as I thought it was but it worked for the event I attended. It was really warm inside. The bathrooms need to be kept more frequently as the stink in there was unbearable. After I used it once I made sure not to use it again until I return to my hotel. It's stunk really bad. They had two spots where you could buy "pub like" food but I didn't even take advantage of that. Overall, the place was clean and neat.
Alice R — Google review
I've been here a few dozen times for various events. The parts that I like the most is that no matter what the event, it feels to be configured is such a unique way that it does not feel like the same space each time. Hard to explain. But when I go for hockey it doesn't feel like it did for basketball, the circus, monster trucks, dinosaur show, etc.
Joe L — Google review
I went to tonight's (09/23) Sleep Token concert and was turned away at the door for an issue with my ticket. I happened to meet Kevin who was working the show, explained my problem to him just looking for some general advice since this was my first concert, and he cleared up the problem and got me in the pit. I'm forever grateful to you, Kevin, and I hope you see this. You really made my night go from utter crap to magnificent. Also, thank you to the unbelievably kind stranger behind me in line who had the idea to call my backpack a medical bag (which it really was since my medication was in there!) so I wouldn't have to decide between ditching my bag or ditching the line.
Sophie S — Google review
Logistical nightmare. Rude staff that either don’t know how to enforce their own employer’s policies or are on a power trip. Weird rules about jewelry and accessories but no email beforehand from the venue saying as much (you had to either manually search their website or go on their social media???). If you don’t want certain clothing/accessories, don’t host a metal show. The fact this venue dares breathe the same air as the Palladium is a crime! + One star because Sleep Token ruled
Allie P — Google review
Travelled to this Venue with my boyfriend to See a Sleep Token Concert and was highly disappointed with my experience. We arrived to the Venue on time and had our tickets prepared. Upon checking with security, we were denied entry and told we must do to the box hours, as we purchased our tickets from a third party vendor. Waited online for an HOUR, being told repeatedly incorrect information by security about where to go, causing people to loose their place in line. When we arrived (finally) at the counter, we were told that we would NOT be allowed to enter the venue because our third party tickets "couldn't be verified" due to "scalpers", even after many other people expressed their frustration due to paying THOUSANDS to see this band live. The price my boyfriend paid was $1,779.50, while others paid upwards of $3,000. The staff was extremely inconsiderate, rude, and overall lack any sort of sense of empathy. Was basically told " too bad". There was no offer of any form of reimbursement, meaning no vouchers, no discounts on upcoming events, nothing. * For context- many people purchased tickets for this event through third party vendors, as DCU claimed on their website that the event was " sold out". However, they were ACTIVELY selling tickets for seats at the venue and consistently claimed that their event had not reached capacity until nearly two hours after concert goers lined up to get tickets for the event after being denied entry* Overall, out experience was extremely poor and unprofessional. It was very disheartening to be unable to attend a show that we highly anticipated. If you plan on attending an event at this venue, only purchase tickets through their website or Ticketmaster, as otherwise they simply will not be accepted.

Palladium is a renowned concert hall in Worcester that hosts metal and hardcore shows, offering a vibrant atmosphere with a bar, food trucks, and outdoor events. It has garnered praise for its fantastic music experience, respectful security staff, good drinks, and awesome bartenders. The venue's second-floor balcony provides excellent stage views. Fans have expressed deep attachment to Palladium as a gem of the city where they've enjoyed legendary performances over the years.
Most respectful metal shows I've ever been to. Security isn't on your ass, but you know they've got you, just in case. Bartenders are always fast and the absolutely kindest. I'm not a fan of the outdoor shows, though, because there really isn't anywhere to sit down if you need to.

Medium scale venue was clean, well staffed, and well managed! I went to see the Chelsea Grin, North American tour! They played with Signs of the swarm, Shadow of intent, and Disembodied Tyrant. I dropped a star because the upstairs bathroom is all tile, has a step that's hard to see, and the floors were so slippery I almost got hurt. Def need wet floor signs or a sign that says "watch your step. But I'd definitely return for another show!

ALWAYS THE CHEAPEST TICKETS AND AT LEAST 5-10 BANDS PERFORMING EACH SHOW!!! Palladium has not one but TWO stages. Main stage and smol stage. Excellent sound throughout the venue and no bad spots. Merch tables abundant upstairs and downstairs. Meet your fave bands at their booth. Bars in both rooms. Bathrooms with stalls in both rooms. They even have a snack and drink bar down the big room bathroom stairs. Cheap water bottles $3 rather than $8 Liquid Death boo sheet. No seats. $20 parking in back or limited street parking. 45 minute drive from Boston. Chill awesome hard working staff. Tip the tenders. Purch the merch. Bang the head.

The Sole Proprietor is a long-standing elegant eatery in Worcester, MA, known for its seafood, sushi, and raw bar items. It has an extensive wine list and has been awarded as the best seafood restaurant in Worcester. The restaurant offers both open and private dining areas and prides itself on serving fresh and delicious seafood that makes diners feel like they're dining by the waterfront. Since 1979, it has consistently been voted as Worcester's top seafood restaurant by locals.
Excellent service. Staff friendly and knowledgeable of menu. Atmosphere is pleasant. Food is amazing. High lights were the Lobster Bisque, lobster Mac and Cheese and Bang Bang Shrimp. Along with the Crab cakes and the shrimp rolls. Sushi was great and the fish and chips(upgraded to Haddock) worth it!! Loved the entire meal.

Incredibly good food and exceptional service. My colleague and I split the lobster roll which came with a complimentary mixed greens salad. In Texas that would have been literally lettuce. Their salad was house-made vinaigrette over mixed field greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber and pickled shallots. That’s picture is that salad without the shallots. The picture is half their lobster roll sandwich which they halved for free for us. Yes half!

This is the first restaurant in Worcester that I have been to that I would say is a must go to in the area. In short: The service is great, the food is fresh, and the prices are fair. I had the three course special for 33$ which is a steal for restaurant week. The bread came out warm and delicious and the shrimp cocktail was good with the huge kick of horseradish in the cocktail sauce. The sangria was good but I probably won't get it again, it looked better than it tasted. The texture of the clams in the clam chowder was excellent and you could tell they are using high quality ingredients. I got a little sand in some bites but that is how you know it didn't come from a can. The scallops were good but a very similar in flavor to the clam chowder. If I were to go again I would try something else. With all that said all of the ingredients on all of my dishes were of very high quality and were prepared very well. Will be back if I am in the area.

Wow. First time . We got the reservation through resy.com and had added a comment for birthday celebration. And every order was made to perfection. When asked what sauce would go best with salmon , I was recommended lemon butter and it was amazing combination. Already suggested this hidden gem to many of our friends. I feel we got rushed towards the bill payment and were not asked the dessert menu but may be there was some genuine confusion and we totally get it. A unique menu. Definitely going back to try out the other items.

We had an incredible experience at The Sole Proprietor! Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The sushi was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the wild Spanish octopus was tender and packed with flavor. The crab cake? Wow—so rich and perfectly seasoned. The seafood sauté was one of the most flavorful dishes I’ve ever had, and the seabass had the perfect texture—juicy yet firm. To top it all off, our server surprised us with a birthday dessert, which made the evening even more special. Overall, a solid 10/10. Truly an unforgettable dining experience!

We made reservations and had dinner here. Our servers were Maeve and Kenzie. Service was outstanding. They paid enough attention to us without bothering us 🙂. We started with sushi which was fresh and delicious. She ordered seafood saute with fries and salad while I ordered the fried seafood combo with clam chowder and fries. Sides were good. I especially liked the chowder. Velvety smooth and plenty of clams! The entrees were the real stars. My fried seafood was to die for... Shrimp, scallops, and fish, fried to perfection. For dessert she had tiramisu and I had chocolate cake. She loved the tiramisu and the chocolate cake was rich and decadent. I couldn't eat more than a few bites because I was so full from dinner. Easy 5 star!! We'll definitely be back.

Nestled in the heart of Worcester, Armsby Abbey is a must-visit destination for craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike. 5 Stars! I cannot say enough good things about the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome — they were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure every guest had a wonderful time. You could tell they loved what they do, and it made the atmosphere feel even more inviting. Now, let’s talk about the food — unbelievable. Every dish was crafted with such care and attention to flavor that you could taste the passion behind it. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. But the true highlight for me was the waffle I ordered. It was pure perfection — golden on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of crispiness. Every bite was a little piece of heaven! Whether you like your waffles simple or loaded with toppings, they’ve absolutely mastered the art of it. If you’re thinking about visiting, do yourself a favor and GO. Between the incredible staff, the top-tier food, and that unforgettable waffle, it’s the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you even leave.

This a quaint little place . It sounded like you can make reservations but we were walk in on a Tuesday night. It was busy enough that the only seating left was side by Side at a community table. Menu has many options without being overwhelming. Some of the sauces are lacking a little flavor, and I was a little disappointed by the size of the double patty burger but over all it was good food. The prices made sense and the portions were pretty close to what I’d expect. This is a great spot for date night, meeting family or friends. I wouldn’t recommend for children though. Staff was friendly and mostly attentive. We did have to wait about 45m to 1hr for our food and the waitress took about 40 min to tell us it would be a few more minutes that ended up being about 10 more minutes. I might consider visiting again during a less busy time.

Tried out Armsby Abbey for brunch today. Was very disappointed with the service and prices. We got there and we're seated 20 minutes before the waitress came over. I’ve been telling people, “I hear they have the best mac and cheese in Worcester” only to go here and be disappointed when I finally tried it myself! The shells and sauce were not at all consistent, the croutons were filled with oil from the melting cheese on top, and there was no strong flavor besides the crisp edges of cheese falling over the edge of the cup! It resembled an at-home creation, and my quest for the best mac and cheese continues. We also had the chicken and the eggplant sandwiches, which were also just OK. The fries were nice and crispy. The wings were giant and had a lot of meat on them. Our drinks were excellent! I got the seasonal Charli’s Apples drink and it was super refreshing and tasteful, like taking a bite out of a green apple. I anticipate coming back, but only for a drink, or perhaps for brunch.

The vibes here are great. The food, not so much. Went around 8pm on Wednesday. Got their wings, brussel sprouts and bread for appetizers. Wings were bland. Brussel sprouts were good. Bread was pretty good. For meal, got their muhammara and burger. Muhammara sandwich was disappointing. Lacking in flavor and bread to other ingredients ratio was bad. Too much bread. For drinks, got pennecillin, grapefruit cocktail. They tasted good but are very watered down. Not hard enough. Quite expensive for what we're getting. Interior is really nice.

BirchTree Bread Company is a spacious and light-filled bakery and cafe located on the second floor of the Crompton building in Worcester. The expansive dining room features large pew-like benches, couches under exposed beams, and local products lining the walls. They serve a variety of breads, pastries, sandwiches, and coffee from a local small-batch roaster.
Went here for the first time today as I was in the area and many have told me this is the best cafe in Worcester. Coffee and food were excellent. I had a grilled ham and cheese and it was perfection. The chocolate chunk cookie was unspeakably delicious. Space was big and clean and bright and it made for a nice afternoon even on a frigidly cold day. Highly recommend. Will come back any time I’m out this way.

Nice breakfast menu and fun communal dining loft space. Three of us stopped by for a quick bite which unfortunately wasn’t so quick. The salmon on bread was delicious and the cut fries are great. The dry brioche roll (w/ egg sandwich)we were served totally missed its prime although overall a fun experience.

We went to Birch Tree in Worcester and totally loved the vibe! The rustic, cozy interior is super cool – it feels like one of those hidden gems you’d see in a movie. The menu had so many fun options, it was hard to choose. My mum had the coffee and absolutely loved it – strong, smooth, and perfectly made. I had the lemonade, and it was super refreshing with just the right amount of zing. The feta and olive toast was fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect salty bite. The pizzas were seriously delicious – thin crust, cheesy, and full of flavor. Everything looked so pretty, we had to snap some pics before digging in. It’s the kind of place where you want to chill and stay for a while.

I was reluctant to provide a review for this place because I don't want it to be too crowded when I go to Worcester. But that's not the way I roll, so... the place was excellent. Really cool eccentric atmosphere and the food was terrific. The Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It's also connected to a lot of really cool shops that you can check out before or after you eat. There's parking in the back and then an entrance to the left of a patio, no sign though, and then you go up the stairs and the restaurants on the right. People say the bread is awesome also. We'll get some next time we go. Kudos to the owners, they seem to be doing an excellent job!

We stumbled in here because we saw the great reviews and we were close by. We went up to the counter to order and the service was nice. Pretty expensive $10 for a breakfast sandwich $15 for lunch sandwich. Plain grilled cheese for $14. We ended up ordering 2 iced maple lattes which were decent, I thought the espresso tasted a little off, possibly burnt or sour. Almond croissant was really yummy. Bacon egg and cheese sandwich was mediocre, they recommended the brioche and I thought it was too thick and dry, maybe it might be better on a croissant. Salmon toast was $13, bread was burnt. Salmon felt fresh but the burnt bread overpowered it, picked red onions are a nice touch. Overall, with a few simple quality fixes could do much better, especially for the high price point everything is at. Turns into a cocktail lounge/bar some nights and the space is definitely fit for that I bet it would be an awesome experience.

I used to love coming to this place the vibe the atmosphere cozy. Never again. Even on an uncrowded Friday morning, the attitude and service is beyond slow and horrible. A simple breakfast sandwich, 30 minutes with barely anyone in the restaurant. This is no way to run a restaurant and definitely a great way to lose customers.

I also didn't have any issues with my burger substitutions being forgotten in a large order. I got the Truffle Burger/Fries and recommend it! I also had their fried pickles and spinach dip/chips appetizers. which were good as well. We were seated upstairs away from the bar, which I liked.

We’ve been to this place many times and every time enjoyed it so much. Great restaurant with a spacious parking lot. Attentive and sweet staff, food came out pretty quick. I highly recommend to try their Buffalo chicken pizza as it comes from another world! Delicious burgers and drinks.

We arrived shortly after opening on a Thursday and we were seated immediately. The menu has a lot of variety. We went with the boom boom platter and a red hot chicken pizza. The platter came with an assortment of small eats like chicken wings, falafel, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, brussel sprouts and fried pickles. They were fine. Nothing stood out. The pizza was thin crust and crispy but the cheese and saucy didn't really adhere for the dough so it felt disjointed. It tasted fine, again, not stand out.

2 Mahi tacos for $5. And one of the best tap lists anywhere. 10/10. You can get beef or chicken tacos if you like. Definitely gonna be back with the spouse

I went to WPI but could never go this place. I guess I could never afford it as a student. 10 years later I finally went there with my wife and kids. We had a great time. The service was great, the location and parking is convenient, and the food was good. We ate the potato wedges which were a nice addition instead of regular fries. My wife and I also split the "Nashville Honey BbQ Sandwich" and boy was it nice and Spicy! My kid also loved the burger of the month. Our daughter had the fried mozzarella. The chips and dips were great. The onion rings were ok . Beers on Tap are well served! Overall a great place and good service! Would definitely go there again!

The food at El Patron was absolutely amazing! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who was incredibly kind and clearly passionate about his food. The dishes were authentic, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. This establishment isn’t just about great food—it’s about genuine kindness and hospitality. Hands down the best service I’ve ever experienced!

Food was delicious, their tripa & lengua tacos are my favorite. Their tortas are 😋 but I'll keep coming back because they have the BEST horchata i ever had. Overall the family & I enjoyed their delicious food. They make u feel like family when you're there.

2nd time there and they were just as great as the first. Our server Yeisson was very friendly, helpful and patient with our questions. An excellent server like Yeisson really made our dining more enjoyable. We ordered a Mini Flautas appetizer and two entrees. My fish burrito was delicious, i finished the entire thing. My wife loved her Mole Enchiladas. She also ordered the Tres Leches Cake for dessert, I had 1 bite and she ate the rest. Great food, Great service, (thanks Yeisson) and we'll be back again soon.

Great atmosphere. Customer service was wonderful. Very tasty. My only issue was the temperature of the food. Our dishes were not hot. I prefer my food to by hot and not barely warm. I had the Drenched burrito and the Spanish street corn. (Neither were temperature hot nor spicy hot) I would return.

I love ordering takeout from here because they are so thoughtful about the way they package it. They separate the tortillas and salsas so they don’t get soggy/spilled, and even having never been in the restaurant I feel like they have such great customer service. We’ve also enjoyed everything we’ve ordered, especially the fajita plates and fish tacos! People are not kidding when they say their burritos are massive, but you definitely get your money’s worth!

Food and drink
Off The Rails is a locally-owned Southern cuisine restaurant and venue located in downtown Worcester, MA. It's a popular spot for BBQ, beer, and sports enthusiasts, with a large room featuring live music and a dance floor. The menu offers succulent chicken tenders, brisket sandwiches, spicy chicken, and delicious sides like cornbread and hopp'n john. Guests can also enjoy a great selection of local craft beers, cocktails, and bourbons.
Have seen several shows here. They have been great. If you get there early enough, the food is really good. It is also a small enough venue where you’ll likely get to meet and hang out a little with the band.

Had a grilled chicken melt and garlic green beans yesterday. It was delicious! The waitress was very friendly and the environment is really neat. I would definitely come back!

Bad news first. Food is mediocre, so do not come here expecting quality food. Bar food at best, but could certainly be better with a little effort from the kitchen. Service was ok, I didn't like how the bartender looked at me like I had two heads when I asked for Chipotle mayo. Especially from a place that claims they're southern BBQ and serves fried pickles. The good news is the atmosphere is comfortable, and they have some tasty beers on tap.
Chris F — Google review
We had a great time! Great food and great drinks. Big selection of food and the BBQ was awesome! Lots of drinks and brews for everyone. Lots of entertainment, bands, easy parking and great people. All you could ask for, check out it and you’ll be glad you did. 🤪

I was just there for the first time before the sleep token concert. My boyfriend and I wanted to grab a bite to eat before the show and the place had a nice vibe at first and I gave them the benefit of the doubt because obviously with a concert they will be a bit busier but we were also there earlier before people really started to pack in we got fried pickles and honestly they were the most disgusting fried pickles I ever had they were so salty I couldn’t continue eating them. The waitress seemed really nice and we usually don’t like to complain about anything so we stayed quiet and hoped the meal would be better but honestly it was too greasy I got the chicken melt and he got the sliders I thought it was weird cause I asked for it without bacon and it literally smelt like it had bacon on it and someone picked it off I could be wrong but I thought I could taste it too. Then we waited a while for refills for our soda and we tasted it and it was so watered down we just needed something to get the excessive salt taste out of our mouths. We did end up telling her they tasted gross and she apologized and said sorry she would grab us fresh Pepsi. When we got the next “Pepsi” it tasted even worse and I am positive they just gave me diet. I was very unhappy with the whole meal and so was he but again we don’t like to say anything but for the money we paid it was really sad we didn’t get to enjoy our food together the waitress asked us if we wanted boxes we just said no paid the bill and just left all the food with not a lot of it eaten. We ended up going somewhere else basically through money down the drain at this place. Maybe it was an off day but still you should provide people with good food and service everyday no matter how busy you are. People pay their hard earned money so this is very upsetting.

Service was great, but food seemed to be freezer to table. Loaded tots were good but the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was underwhelming. It featured roughly a teaspoon of hot sauce hidden under the bun. With plates approaching $20, I should hope we can do better.
Josh S — Google review
Great atmosphere, drinks were great and food was delicious! Customer service and bartender were wonderful!! Would definitely recommend!
Melanie H — Google review
Horrible customer service - booked an event/party with them, was told we were on the calendar and what the fee would be. Showed up 2 weeks later to look at the venue and pay the fee only to be told that "concerts take priority" and they "might have a concert that night" but they'd let me know. 6 months later, they still don't know. LOL Needless to say, I found another venue for my party. Really surprised at the lack of professionalism all around.

The Mercantile is a spacious and trendy spot located near DCU, offering plenty of seating and large windows with great views. The menu features a wide selection of items, including brunch options available until 3 pm on Saturdays. Dishes like Margherita pizza with a light, thin crust, street corn nachos, and a big, meaty burger are all recommended. The drink menu changes seasonally and offers both hits and misses.
Beautiful setting for this restaurant. The service was great. Very attentive and patient. Our entrees were delicious and great presentation. The steak tips were tender and cooked perfectly 👌. The 🥦 broccoli was chard to perfection. Every dish we had, I would highly recommend. Especially the fresh oyster for an appetizer!! Would highly recommend to visit Mercantile restaurant well worth the drive 🚗!!

A great spot for good friends and drinks. The ambiance and decor are perfect for a night out with friends. The bartenders are so talented and make perfectly balanced cocktails. As for food, the pizza is really good. (I do wish the they would put a little more toppings on it but that’s my only real gripe.) We’ve had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed so you can’t go wrong! For those of us into sports, they are big TV screens mounted all around the bar. Good spot to catch a game.

Great food, amazing vibes and good service. I had extended birthday celebrations at this place and enjoyed every moment. The staff responded to all our queries with smile 🙂 We were a big group and the staff made sure we are well accommodated. There are delicious options in starters and entree. Good ones for main course and deserts too. Had one of the best Nachos and fries. It was fun atmosphere around with many places to take nice pics. Outside sitting has great view but make sure to make advance reservations. Ample parking space around.

Absolutely loved the place, the bar was awesome, lighting was perfect , service extremely fast and friendly. Food and drinks were ok, but in my opinion it was missing taste. Menu has a good variety of items and prices are fair.

Extremely disappointing meal, salad was overly acidic, chicken burger was dry, french fries was dry. Fish tacos were the only highlight. Server only took our order, and didnt check in to refill water at all. Would not go again

It's National Oyster Day & I'm hooked on The Mercantile's offer of $1 oysters with strawberry mignonette from 4-6, Monday to Thursday, is unbeatable. I also devoured their goat cheese bites, crispy broccoli, & boom boom shrimp, all incredible appetizers. My friends' mac & cheese with buffalo shrimp & lobster fettuccine were insane. To top it off Claire, our waitress, was absolute perfection. Back to the mac & cheese - top tier!
Maria A — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the steak tips and they were cooked perfectly and the French fries that came with it were probably the best I have ever had. Definitely worth the drive and if you’re in the area you won’t be disappointed! I will definitely dine there in the future.
